My today, my multitasking day!..
*Note: Lead image from Unsplash*
Happy Tuesday!.
ooops!.let me correct myself, it's Wednesday already!.
Time check: it's time to write an article!.
Since I am on a remote work set-up today, as part of my weekly goal, I will write an article to compensate the time that I supposedly is still travelling from the office.
I am a busy bee during my RTO (return to office) days which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for this week, hence I do not have spare time to write and publish an article anymore here in read.cash. Though I am trying to read some articles and interact at the same time whenever I find time while in the office and while travelling to and from the office. Though I honestly do not prefer to read while in transit because the letters gets doubled and blurred sometimes while I am reading inside a moving car.
"Nakakaduling ba!".
I don't have any topic in my mind today, and I do not want to spend too much time on thinking what to write hence, I just thought of flexing my day, my working from home day.
This week is my kid's finals exams week, hence, as usual, I have to assist my daughter reviewing her lessons. My work starts at 3:00PM in the afternoon but earlier, I told my colleagues that I will be a little late because I have to sort our laundry first. I planned to wash our clothes after I logged in, but then when my husband saw me sorting the dirty clothes, he volunteered to take care of them.
I usually sort our dirty clothes depending on their types.
I usually group them into four. White clothes, T-shirts, Shorts, and the undies. And then I will wash the undies first. Second spin is for the tshirt. Then followed by the shorts and pants and lastly, the white colored clothes.
And since my husband volunteered to take care of our laundry, I decided to start my shift already at around 3:30PM in the afternoon. That means, I am 30 minutes late but it's not actually an issue to my Manager/Boss or any of my colleagues. They are considerate enough that's why I am ao grateful to be part of our team actually.
I originally planned to helo with the review my daughter at around 4:00PM in the afternoon, but then, I was too occupied with a lot of work related stuffs hence the review plan was not executed on time.
It's already around 7:30 PM when I am able to find some spare time. I took the opportunity to eat dinner. After dinner, that was around 8:00PM already, I started assisting my daughter to review her lessons. Ourreview got interrupted by a 30 minutes weekly meeting that I have to attend. After the meeting, I asked my colleagues that I will be away from my desk until 11:00PM and I honeatly told them the reason.
The plan to review until 11:00PM already did not happen because we spent a lot of time reviewjnv her Math lesson. It's all about fraction and comparing fractions.
I am actually a bit shocked when I saw her reviewer because I can't believe that the Grade two students are already studying about fractions!. However, I am not in the position to complain, because I still need to teach it to my daughter or else, she won't be able to get the correct answer tomorrow during their exam.
Good thing, the other two subjects are a bit easy. They are Mother Tongue and Araling Panlipunan.
Mother Tounge is just all about Salita, Parirala, Pangungusap and Iba't ibang uri ng pangungusap.
Whilst for Araling Panlipunan, it's just all about tungkulin ng isang Bata and so on. Not much memorization needed.
We finished the review at around 12 midnight, which is also the end of my shift. So I told my colleagues that I am going to log off already. I have to wake up early tomorrow becauae my daughter's exam will start at 07:30 in the morning. I have to wake them early, prepare their breakfast, and fix them before their exams so that they appear on the screen presentable and neat.
Last in my list today is to write and publish an article, so here I am now!.
Oh! I forgot to mention. I am also answering inquiries from some potential carpool passengers for later while working and even while helping review my daughter's lessons.
That's my multitasking story for today.
Anyways, I will now prepare to sleep because it's already 1:35 in the morning as of this writing. Thank you so much for all your time and unending support!.

Carpooling as a sideline business?..
Hello fellow writers and readers! How's yoir weekend so far?..
If you would ask me how's mine, so far so good!. Yesterday, Saturday, I took a rest day overtime. I worked for a total of 4 hours yesterday.
"Mahigpit ang pangangailangan besh!!!"
Since enrollment period is nearly approaching, we need to grind and grind for the enrollment fee. I've mentioned already from my previous article with title: Blended Learning or Online Learning? that my youngest son's tuition (incoming kinder 1) is 31,765 php while my daughter's tuition (incoming grade 3) is 23,139 php.. Whilst for my eldest son, we're planning to transfer him to a public school in our province (Oriental Mindoro). https://read.cash/@Khing14/blended-learning-or-online-learning-c875efc4
So, for me, I always grab if there's an opportunity for a weekend work. Because extra work means extra income, and extra income means savings for my kids' enrollment fee!.
I've also share from my previous article that I and my husband has already started to become a carpool host. I am on a hybrid work set-up at the moment. We're required to report to office 3 days in a week only. That means I have two days to work from home per week.
Luckily, my cousin is also currently here with us , hence, my husband can freely move because we have someone to look after our kids at home.
Everytime I need to report to office, my husband willingly volunteered to bring me to office. But he is actually forced to fetch me from office after shift because I always struggle to find a carpool around that time (12 midnight). Plus the fact that I am a lady, I cannot easily trust carpooler especially if his profile picture in his FB page is not that decent.
My husband got an idea to find carpooler passengers whenever I have shift in the office for us to save some cents or atleast to compensate the expenses in deisel and parking lot as well.
So to cut long story short, my sunday is mostly spent answering inquiries from potential passengers to and from the office.
For me to keep track on the pick up point and drop off of our passengers, I decided to take down notes. It help me to keep track of how many slots do we still have for the day.
We basically aim to have 5 passengers per trip. Our car is an suv with maximum seating capacity of 10 person but in our case, to give convenience to our passengers, we only accept up to 5 passengers per trip only.
Let me share with you my Monday (June 13) booking list!
As you can see from above, I do take note of their pick-up (PU) and drop-off (DO) point. I also take note of the fare amount per passenger depending on their pick-up and drop-off point.
So when my husband took my notes, he tried to calculate how much earnings could we get. He told me, he would be able to take home 500php to 700php per day. Not only that, my transportation is not a problem anymore, so, it's hitting two birds in a single stone.
I am very much thankful to my cousin because if she's not around, maybe until now, my commute to and from office is still a struggle.
That's all for today!. Thank you so much for stopping by!.

Blended Learning or Online Learning?
Happy Friday Everyone!..
Weekend is waving!.
Speaking of weekend, I just realized that my shift is till 12 midnight which means the date has already flipped!. Yes, you heard it right!I just finished my shift!..I am working from home Monday and Friday this week. Hence, to compensate my time that I supposedly spend travelling from office, I decided to write an article. It is to make my time productive while waiting for my eyes and my mind to shutdown and have a sleep.
Earlier this afternoon, I tried to send a message to my kids school's fb group to inquire about the enrollment fee together with the tuition fee of my incoming Grade 3 and Kinder 1 students. Basically, I am interested to know how money do we need to prepare for my daughter and my youngest son's enrollment fee.
I've actually asked the same question to me previously and they've also provided me the breakdown computation of the fees. But of course, being a mother, I believe it's normal for us to double confirm things specially if the price is a bit higher than our expectations.
While waiting for an answer, I took the opportunity to ask them if they are going to be face to face for the incoming school year. The teacher politely answered my query. They told me that they do have a blended learning set-up.
For my non-Filipino readers let me try to tranalate above conversation in english so that you will be able to relate on what we are talking about.
Me (blue background chatbox): "Hello, is the DRCI going back to face to face set-up thia coming school year?"
School (gray background chatbox): "Good evening Mommy,
This is teacher Jolina
We already have a blended learning, but you still have a choice if you still want your child to take full online classes."
My main reason for asking about the face to face classes is because my youngest son (currently 4 years old, incoming Kinder 1 student) don't know how to write and read yet. And I know from my past experiences for my eldest son and daughter that prep students needs assistance physically. For sure, they will struggle a lot for online learning set-up. Not only them, actually even the parents like us. And in my case as a working mom, it will be very difficult for me to spend most of my time just to teach my 4 year-old son all of his modules.
After confirming that the school is already offering blended learning, I then followed-up about the enrollment fee. I specifically asked them the total amount that I need to pay upon enrollment for my incoming Grade 3 and K1 student. And guess what, I was shocked to learn that the yearly amoung of obligation that we're going to pay is more than 30k php.
I then asked them, why is the tuition fee doubled?. Then I showed them the breakdown of the computation that they gave to me when I inquired about it before.
From:
To:
If you noticed, the tuition fee almost doubled for the Platinum as compared with the Premium.
On top of that, we also have to pay 100 php for aircon, 350 php for notebooks ans 1, 950 for tbe school uniform.
I Initially, thought their tuition fee has increased. Little did I know that the Platinum is the tuition for the blended learning.
When I asked them why the tuition fee for blended is almost x2 of the online (premium), the teacher answered:
I don't actually get the point because pre pandemic, their tuition is just the same with the Premium figure above.
I can't imagine that I have to spend more than 50k now for my kids' school.
And ooopppsss!. I am yet to discuss about my Eldest son's tuition..We're still undecided up until now into which school are we gonna enroll our eldest son (incoming Grade 7). We are thinking to transfer him to public school.
You might probably wonder why my husband and I chosed my daughter and youngest son to enroll into a private school. The primary reason is, public schools are quite far from our house. Hence, we're still have to pay for school service. Let's say school service transportation fee per head is 2000 php to 2500 php per month, if we're going to multiply it by 10, the total amount of fare compared to the private school's tuition fee is almost the same. The private school I am referring to by the way is just walking distance from our house.
We're just having second thought for our eldest son because my husband and I are thinking that maybe, since our Son is in junior high already, me need to let him explore the outside world. He needs to learn how to commute, or in general, how to be an independent student. He must learn how to budget his allowance for his food and transportation. In other word, we wanted to teach him some survival skills!.
Going back to the topic, after we learned that blended learning has a higher cost than online learning, my husband and I has some second thoughts now but it's like 80-20. 80 percent to go for the blended learning and 20% in doubt.
Now that we already know the figures, next step for me and my husband is to gather those amounts...we need to grind more, and we need to dohble time our hardworks because August is fast approaching!.
That's it for todays' thoughts. Thank you guys for dropping by and for your support as always!.
From Carpool Passenger To Carpool Host
Hello everyone!. It's Thursday yet my work mode is like on a Friday mode already.
We call it as Friday mode because usually, every Friday, our workload is very light. I don't know why as well but maybe because most of our users are busy preparing for ther weekends as early as Friday? So, it is common that during Fridays, we as a production support team don't much work related stuff in the office but just talk with each other instead.
I cannot clearlyrecall if I've already mentioned innone of my articles the hassle I have in my daily commute going to and from the office. And it was actually worst now during pandemic because of the limited availability of the public transportation.
My work schedule currently is the same with the United Kingdom's business hours. My work sched is rotating to the following:
Shift 1: 2PM to 11 PM
Shift2: 3PM to 12 midnight
Shift 3: 5PM to 2AM
My work schedule made my commute journey super challenging!. Yes, there's available transportation (i.e buses) but the problem is, they do not go until all of the seats are occupied.
And since my schedule is against the Philippines business hours, commuters are very rare specially at around 12 midnight to 3:00 in the morning.
Hence, I have to wait atleast 1 hour. You're lucky if you are the last passenger to ride but if you are the first one, then you need to set your mind that your waiting time is 1 hour the least.
There was a day where I am able to arrive home when the sun is starting to rise already. You heard it right!..It's almost 5AM that time. That's the worst in my commute experience though during this pandemic season.
Good thing my husband has thought of finding a carpool for me. He joined different carpool groups in facebook and started to find some posts there from drivers looking for passengers. He also gave me the carpool groups and asked me to join as well.
So we both started to look for carpool drivers with available slot for passengers. Everytime I find spare time while at work, I tried to scroll my phone and find carpoolers so that I would be able to avoid the hassle of commute. After 1 week of finding for carpooler drivers who looks trustworthy in their profile picture, epic failed!. Until suddenly, I decided to post in the carpoolers FB groups as well so it will be the other way around. Instead me sending PM to each of the carpoolers who has same schedule with me, it will be the reverse. The carpool who found me to have same schedule with them are the ones to send me direct messagr and invite me to join their ride.
And it works! "Tagumpay ang Plano!".
One of the carpool driver suddenly sent me a direct mesasage and inform me of her schedule!. My work schedule that time is 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
But, there's a little problem. The pick up point going to office is just halfway from our home. I started to think for awhile and then after like 5 minutes of thinking (ang bilis mag isip diva?) , I said Yes!..hahahaha.! So it save the day!..
However, there's another problem! I learned that the carpooler's schedule of report to office is Wednesday and Thursday only. That means, there will still be days that I will have to commute!..But then, "mabuti na yun kesa wala!".
So I told my husband about that. Guess what! My husband offered to be my driver!..
And it is the start of our Carpool Host Journey!...Whenever my husband is willing to fetch me from office, I always post to the FB group to look for carpooler passengers. At the start, we don't know how much fare to get from the passengers. But then eventually, we get used to the fare differences per drop-off!.
And now, since we're back again to a hybrid work set-up, my husband is now always dropping me in the office and fetching me from the office after my shift. The reason being is, my shift schedule has changed and I have had trouble finding carpool drivers with same sched as mine.
And that's how our carpool host journey has started!.
Back to Hybrid, Back to Read
Hello my fellow writers and readers!..I am back!..and I am so excited to be back!..
I couldn't recall already when was the exact date and time I visited this platform.
It was around last week of May of this current year when our Company HR has announced that we are required to return to office (RTO) starting April 1, 2022. This is our company's response to Philippine Economic Zone Authority - Peza's order forcing employee to return to office.
My first week of RTO became very toxic and very expensive I would say. I was forced to get a cab and pay for a quite expensive fare just to make sure that I arrive in the office on time because every single minute of late are being deducted to our payroll.
I've probably mentioned already from my previous articles that I usually allot 3 hours in my travel time going to and from the office. It them sums up to 6 hours. This is how long I spent on the road in a daily basis since PEZA implemented the 100% RTO. It's so exhausying to be honest!. I have lots of officemates who chose to resign from work because they cannpt afford the long hour travel to and from our office. I would say, they made a good decision!. Good thing they are able to find company that offers permanent work from home set-up. I quite felt envy..but then, in mg case, I do not have enough courage yet to move to another company.
There were risks and sacrifices that an employee have to face whenever he or she has decided to change employer:
First in the list would be, 1 month worth or atleast half month worth of salary are being held by the current company. You will only get this 1 to three months after gour resignation became effective. This is common so far to the 2 companies that I formerly worked with.
Secondly, when you move job, your first salary usually arrive 1 month after your first day at your new work.
In other words, moving job means accepting tbe fact that you won't or you might don't have income for more than a month!. And in this current state of our country, I cannot afford to have no income for that long. My work is our family's primary spurce of income!.
Going back to my RTO chaos, that's the main reason of my long absence in this platform. I don't have spare time to write and publish articles already.
But guess what?..two weeks ago, our HR sent a new memo allowing us to do the hybrid work set-up. According to the letter, starting June 1, we will be required to report to the office 3 days in a week only from the original 5 days. This only means, we have 2 remote work in a week.
This actually made all of us happy and relieved! Not only me, but everyone felt happy about this news! Not only that, there are no required headcount per team in the office. That means, we all have freedom to choose what days do we want to report to the office and what day to we want to work from home!..
And that what made me decide to come back to read again!..Having two days of remote working set-up saves me a total of 12 hours from my travel time!..That means a lot to a working mom like me!..
That's all for my come back article!.I am very haply that I would be able to share my thoughts again with you guys! Thank you so much for dropping by!..
I want to end this comeback article of mine by flexing my daughter's pressed flower card.
She made this card during their Arts class last Friday..and she had it over to her father afterwards!...
To all father by status and by heart out there, Advance Happy Father's Day!...

Hi fella!..It's been awhile!..I've been busy lately because since April 1, 2022, we've been required to report to office in a daily basis..hence, most of my time are being spent kn the road again..
Anyways, nice to be in here again!..btw guys, please support my friend : https://read.cash/@mstripsy/dream-61087e0f..she's a good writer as well..currently striving as a college student...
🔶️🔸️My TuesDay Theme 🔸️🔶️
Hola amigos and amigas!..Hello to all my fellow readers and writers!..Happy Tuesday!.
Today is my RTO day for our hybrid schedule arrangement. Hybrid means combinatio of RTO (return to office) and WFH (work from home). Basically, in this hybrid set-up, we are given three days work from home and 2 days work in the office. We are all free to decide which day are we gonna report to office and which day will we work from home. However, starting April first, we are all required to be 100% RTO. That means, we have to report to work in a daily basis during our regular shift starting Friday next week. I still cannot imagine coming back to the daily commute struggles I used to conquer since I started working (way back from year 2008).
It's been my habit ever since that the night before my shift, I used to prepare my outfit to be wore the next day. I used to plan ahead of time so that I am still able to iron it if my clothes are too tangled (gusot). I am having trouble decided which clothes to wear last night because most of them are too much fitted in me. Yeah, I admit, I've gained a lot of weight during the pandemic. Maybe it is due to lack of exercise.
Before pandemic, my routine to office includes 20 to 25 minutes of walk. That walk time serves as my daily exercise already during weekdays or during office days.
But when the pandemic started and our company allowed us to work from home all week, that walk time has gone. Which means from the start of my shift, until end, I am just sitting in front of my Computer. I will only stand up and go downstairs to pee, eat, or take a bath. That means most of the fats intake coming from the food that I ate in a daily basis are just being stored and transformed as my belly fats. Due to this, my waistline also has extended. In fact, I have to buy pants before I started with the RTO set-up because all of my old pants no longer fits me.
Anyways, as I was saying, it's been my habit to prepare or to plan about what I am going to wear the night before my shift. And last night, I saw this one. I actually love this top. My aunt has just gave this to me. I seldom wore it though because even though I ironed it already, it still looks so tangled.
Can you see the bottom part and the sleeves? Despite my effort to iron it again and again, it just don't get flatten or smooth.
Do you wonder how do I look after wearing that clothe?..
Charaaannnnn!
Bagay ba?..hahaha..
Did you noticed my facemask?..It's with the shade of yellow as well..I think it's color Khaki but it looks like mustard yellow when worn..
And not only that!..my socks are color yellow well!...
I just bought it from shopee for 7:00 php only if I recall it correctly. My husband criticized my socks earlier when he noticed it's color..hahaha..but I don't mind!..I did not changed it because I wanted to push with my color theme today..
This color theme by the way helped to lighten my mood today!. It's a happy color for me..
How about you?..do you also set some theme when going out?..what's your usual theme?..
@renren16 salamuch sa patuloy na pagtangkilik at pagtitiwala....sana ibalik sayo ng siksik liglig at umaapaw ang generosity mo..thank you sis!
100% RTO by April 1, 2022
Hello folks!. I'm sure you've already heard the news about the 100% return to office by April 1st, 2022.
☆☆☆ RTO : Return to Office ☆☆☆
It's quite frustrating and disappointing that the government is forcing the companies to have their employees report to office in a daily basis starting April 1. I am one of those who are impacted by that decision.
Currently, our company is allowing us to have a hybrid schedule. Two (2) days in the office and then three (3) days work from home. This set-up is very helpful for employees like me who is a working mom . I have three kids. One toddler and two who are schooling already. A grade 6 and a Grade 2 student. The current hybrid set-up is very helpful to me and to my kids attending online school because I am able to supervise my kids whilst they are on their class. I am able to assist whenever my daughter (Grade 2) needs my help specially with her arts subject because sometimes, she is not able to get the teacher's instruction and she's so hesitant to ask her teacher.
Juat like last Friday for example, while I am digging in my little garden (cultivating the soil), my daughter approached me and told me that she cannot understand thoroughly the instructions for their Arts subject that day. Hence I have to step in and translate the instructions in tagalog so she can understand it better. I left afterwards and let her do her arts alone. I am trying to dettach with my daughter so she can be more independent in her online class.
But then last Tuesday, March 15, 2022, our manager contacted us. It is a day after our HR has posted the announcement about the 100% RTO mandated by the government. Accordung to the email memo, it's kind of a government decision and our company needs to comply for the continued support on the incentives that it'sgetting from the government. Our company is a member of Peza and it is tagged as a BPO company eventhough most of its employees are working as I.T.
We do not have a choice then but to accept the decision. But uou know what the most painful is?. The government did that decisio whilst the oil price is continously rising. And we all know that it has a kind of chain effect. When the oil price goes higher, it will then bounce back to the grocery price and of course to the fare price. So who will auffer the most? We as the consumer right?..
Sigh!..Anyways, during our call with the manager, I tried to request to increase our transpo allowance. He said it's agood idea but he is asking me to send an email with regards to my request and then he will relay it accordingly to the respective group to seek approval.
That's for my today's rant. How about you guys? What do you prefer? Working in the office ? Or working from home?
I only have a week to enjoy our hybrid set-up, I can't imagine!. After next week, I will have to face the stressful and tiring traffic again in a daily basis. And I will have some daily rants about my commute experience again..hahaha..
Anyways, since it's weekend and my day-off at work, I took the opportunity to do a general cleaning of our house. I just finished cleaning here downstairs which includes the living room, dining area, and our cooking area or some also call it as the dirty kitchen.
I felt a little tired hence decided to take a break.
I decided to write and publish an article while taking a little rest begore I go and atsrt cleaning upstairs. We have three rooms upstairs that's waiting for me to be cleaned.
And....breaktime is over now! Got to clean the bedrooms now! I,ll catch up with you guys afterwards. Thank you as always for spending some time reading my article and leaving a comment as well. It ia highly appreciated!

Hiya @BCH_LOVER, thank you so much!..
March 8 and the Double Celebration!
I have drafted this article yesterday, March 8, 2022, but failed to finish it because I felt so sleepy already as soon as my shift bas ended, at around 11:00 PM Manila time.
As we all know, yesterday was International Women's Day. It is the day where we are celebrating and recognizing the historical, cultural and political achievements of women.
International Women's Day is also a venue to raise gender inequality against women.
According to World Health Organization (WHO), one in three women around the world experience physical or sexual violence by:
a husband
a boyfriend
an intimate partner
a lover
a parent
a relative
a colleague
a boss
a stranger
Source https://nationaltoday.com/international-womens-day/
International Women's Day is the day for us to let the world hear our voices that women has rights as well. Stop discrimination, stop domestic violence, stop harrasment and give woman an equal opportunities with man.
Aside from International Women's Day, March 8, 2022 is my youngest son's fourth birthday as well.
We've actually had an early celebration of my son's birthday. We've had a family outing last Weekend to celebrate my son's fourth birthday, because that's his wish for his birthday: "swimming".
In fact, I even published an article for that. If you haven't read it yet, here's the link!. That article was entitled "**Captured but Gone**" because all of clicks the first day of our swimming appears to be corrupted. I just learned that all of my captured images that day are broken while writing the aforementioned article because I am supposed to share some glimpse of our afternoon swimming but unfortunately, they are all non-viewable. https://read.cash/@Khing14/captured-but-gone-5c2471ff
So, I switched my storage from memory card to my internal phone memory to make sure all of my clicks will be captured and stored successfully.
This image speaks for itself! Can you see how happy the birthday boy is?
He enjoys swimming a lot!.
And so, since today is his real birthday, my husband and I decided to have a small celebration here in the house.
I asked my husband to buy a small piece of cake and 2 boxes of large pizzas. I have work yesterday, hence I am not able to accompany my husband in buying the things I requested for my son's fourth birthday (second) celebration.
I know ever since that what he loves the most about celebrating his birthday is the "blowing of candle", hence I asked my husband to make sure to bring a cake no matter what!.
As soon as my husband arrives, he started setting up the table and put in the two boxes of pizza, a piece of cake, 1.5 liters of Royal, and 1 pack of puto (rice cake) from goldilocks. When everything's on set, he put my son on top of a chair and he lighted the candle as well.
We all then started to sing the "Happy Birthday" song for him, but guess what?. He don't want us to sing it together with him. He wants to sing Happy Birthday song alone. And as he wish, we let him sing the birthday song alone. And then after that, he immediately blow the candle.
It's been a simple celebration. We do not have any visitors, just the five of us!. Me, my husband and the three kids but I can see how happy my son is..
We ate the cake together and of course, the family's favorite: the pizza!.
That's it for my March 8, 2022! How about you guys?
Again, a never ending BIG thanks to all of you who always allocate minutes to read, upvote, and comment in my articles!. I appreciate it as always!.

My Most Visited SocMed Sites Aside From Noise.cash and Read.cash
Happy Sunday guys!. How's your day so far? I've been busy all day actually. I've emptied our laundry baskets, (yes baskets, as in more than one basket) earlier. I've washed all of our dirty clothes and the swim wear we brought to our swimming last friday and saturday.
While doing my laundry, I also cleaned the house and cooked banana queue for my kids.
Anyways, enough intro. Let's go with my topic today about my most visited social media sites.
Facebook
This is first in my list. When I get bored at work, I use to scroll with my FB. Why? I found this social media site helpful if you want to get an updatr with someone without them knowing that you're checking on them.
It's also my way of getting updates to the latest happening about my family, friends, and co-workers by just folowing their posts, without the need of chatting each one of them. Don't get me wrong guys, I am not Marites..hehe..There are times that I am just not comfortable to chat someone whom I wanted to know her or his situatuon is. For no reason, I just don't want to start any conversation, that's it!. Specially if I know that person is so talkative..hehehe.I just don't like long conversation..
Messenger
This has been my husband and I's primary means of communication. Since we do have a weak sim network here in our house, my husband preferred to contact me via messenger whenever he is out (in our store). I am not sure why but Sun Cellular's signal sometimes cannot even reach one bar in here. Good thing we do have wifi, hence messenger became our main means of communication.
Tiktok
This is one of my bonding venue with my kids. Well, only my daughter and my you gest son. We do tiktok together. My eldest son however is camera shy, hence, he don't really want to join us. He would just laugh at us, and cheer us but he will never join...ever!.
Microsoft Teams
This is my team's main source of communication whenever we're on shift. Teams is our main medium of communication at work. We use it to contact internal or external clients. We use it for our team meetings as it also bas a video capability (like zoom). We also use it as our training medium because it also has capability to share screen and record all of the audio and video. It's so useful in training recordings to be honest. We can also trim our recordings afterwards.
Whatsapp
When we are off shift, let's say for example during weekends, our team uses whatsapp as our main medium of communication. Each of us are required to install this application in our phone. Our manager is based in London by the way, and we do have some other team members who are also based in UK. Hence, whatsapp is like our messaging and calling application if we wanted to talk with each other out of our working hours.
Youtube
Youtube has been so helpful to me. I used it to search some home remedy medicines and how to prepare them everytime one of my kid is sick.
I also use youtube to search some troubleshooting videos for some stuffs like when our AC in our room produces loud noise as soon as we turned it on. I just search for that symptoms in youtube. We're able to fix it by replacing the capacitor.

Captured But Gone!
Hey ya friends!. I am currently in a quick vacation with my fambam!.I accidentally took a nap earlier, around 8 pm and woke up at 10pm due to hunger. It's because I never ate dinner before that accidental nap yet.
My husband and kidos are still awake when I woke up from a nap. I then asked my kids to go to bed to recharge their energy so that tomorrow, I mean later on (since it's already 1:00AM in here as of this writing), they have energy to swim in the pool and play in the shore again.
After my kidos fell asleep, I then get up and have a one on one conversation with my husband. I really love to have this kind of convo with him. It's like we're just best friends talking about random topics.
As I look in the shore, I saw a camping tent with a light inside. I love to sleep in a tent as well. In my 35th year of existence, I never experience sleeping in a tent installed near the shore or in the middle of a forest. I then told my husband, when the kids grew up, I wanted to exprience that thing. I wanted to go camping with them. We're only 5 in the family hence we only need two tents. One for me and my husband, and another one for my 3 kids.
My husband also agreed with that idea. I felt a bit excitement as we talk about it.
I started to imagine myself star gazing in a wide horizon while listening to the sound of the krickets at night.
Anyways, we're on a vacation right now because we decided to do an early celebration of my youngest son's 4th birthday. It's supposedly this coming March 8th, Tuesday. However, my daughter and my eldest son has to attend school, hence we decided to go Friday after school.
Original plan was actually Saturday and Sunday, however, yesterday, when my husband contacted the resort for a "kubo" reservation, they told us that they are already fully booked for Saturday and Sunday. Hence, the plan has changed and we decided to go here Friday instead. Good thing, I filed a vacation leave already, hence, schedule wise, we're good to go!.
This is actually our 3rd time in this resort already. First, is November last year. There's no specific occasion that time. We just decided to unwind and spend some of our hard earned money enjoying life.
Our second time in here was last January 8th. It was my daughter's 8th birthday and it's her wish to be back and spend overnight in this resort.
*Well, this is actually the only resort they know so far, where wecan spend overnight*.
And now, we've asked our youngest son where does he wants to spend his birthday, and he said "swimming". I understood what he meant by that. He wanted to do the same with what we did to celebrate her sister's birthday.
Last week, I've decided to order them swim wear and some swimming materials from Lazada (an online store).
It's a coincidence that I've ordered an open line prepaid wifi from the same online store which serves as my back up internet connection whenever I am working from home. I decided to order that item becauze our PLDT connection is very unstable lately. It's loosing internet connection for like more than 4 times a day and it's very inconvenient to my work and also to my kids when they are attending their classes virtually.
Actually last Wednesday, it serves its purpose well. Our PLDT line lost internet connection for more than thrice but I never get disconnected from my work because of this prepaid wifi. I just leave it open all throughout my shift so that whenever the PLDT loose it's connection, my machine will automatically conndct to my back-up wifi.
Here it is! I bought it for 899 PHP only.
The prepaid wifi works prefectly!
It's giving a very satisfactory result in my speed test. I am super duper satisfied with this purchase.
It's very handy actually. We've used it earlier while we're on our way to here (in the resort). I even took a picture of it and shared it in noise.
I don't want to bore you more with my article, so that's it for now folks. I am supposed to share some of my clicks earlier but then when I checked, looks like my memory card is corrupted and none of my take is viewable.
This is the main reason behind ny article title for today.
So disappointing to learn that all my captured photos and videos are gone. But still, I am thankful that I've checked it. I've changed my camera default storage to my phone instead to make sure my captures will be saved successfully. Atleast I still have a chance to take some picture later in the morning, till lunch time, before we leave.
Thank you guys as always for your support on my writings. See you around!.I'll be scrolling with some article before I sleep.
Random Ice Breaker Questions...again
I am actually out of topic today. Luckily, I stumbled upon @BCH-lover article. And yes, I admit! Writing an article by answering random questions saves me from squeezing my brain to think and find a good topic for the day. https://read.cash/@BCH_LOVER/getting-to-know-me-more-by-answering-these-questions-da025d21
Actually, I believe, answering random questions is one way to introduce yourself. It's the venue where your audience will know about you more.
Anyways, stop with the intro, let me start answering some questions now.
** What is your favorite thing about your career?
What I really like about my career is that I am free to expand my knowledge. There are lots of opportunities to learn new things and skills. It just depend on how eager are we to learn those stuffs.
** What motivates you to work hard?
My family! I wanted to give them bright future, hence, I work hard to earn enough or if possible, even more, just to give them a better life. Far from what I have during my childhood.
Maybe some of you are already aware that I am like the head of the family. I am the one who earns a lot and support my family's needs. My husband is self employed though. He has a sari sari store but then his income is not enough to provide our needs.
** What does your child want to be when he/she grows up?
My daughter told me once that she wanted to be like me. What she meant is that she wanted some computer works like me.
My son on the other hand once told me that he wanted to be an astronaut. I know that this profession is very much challenging, but whatever he wants in the future, I am eager to support him.
** What would you sing at Karaoke night?
At this very moment, I really love to sing Nightbirde's song entitled "it's okay". Nightbirde is an America Got Talent contestant who got a golden buzzer from Simon.
During the time of audition, she only has 2% of survival due to her cancer. But then she still chose to be happy despite her battling with cancer. Unfortunately, her illness defeated her. But, I really love her song. In fact, I tried to sing it (recorded) via WeSing. I really love the message of the song.
** Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?
Yes of course. Khing is actually my nickname. My grandma gave it to me. But when my mother is angry with me, she usually call me "KingKing". But then during my college life, my nickname became "Lyn".
** How often do you buy clothes?
Very very seldom. I don't know but I am really stingy when it comes to my personal needs. As long as my clothes are functional and still fits me, I won't buy a new one.
** Who was your first crush?
Maybe some of you in here are well aware already...that my first crush is also my first love, and who became my first boyfriend, who is my husband right now. I didn't planned for it, and I didn't even thought that he will be my husband. I believe the Lord planned it for me, for us.
** In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, or read?
I love to watch movie at night. Sit in the aofa while eating corn chips. But I do love to watch a movie with my husband than me watching movie alone.
** What did you want to be when you were small?
My ultimate dream since I was a child till high school ia to become a high-school teacher. However, I decided to follow what my father's preference is when I enrolled college. I took Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BS ECE) instead.
But then I ended up in I.T. industry. I never imagined that I'll be an I.T or will be part of the I.T. world back then. In fact, I almost failed in our programming subject way back during my college days. But I thank God because He send me to this world that I am already loving now.
** If money was no object, what would you do all day?
I really want to experience living in a van. I want to have an endless travel with my family. We all love vacation. We all love to spend our holidays in beach, or in any places that is close to nature.
We also love road trips. So if money was no object, I would like to have an endless road trip, unlimited picnic, go to beaches, or experience camping with my family.

Passive Income via ABRA Wallet Holdings
Hi, hello everyone!.
Today, I would like to share with you the trending ABRA wallet. I saw this from my sister's post in FB where she earned some $ (money) by just simply holding crypto in her ABRA wallet and waited for just 7 days.
It immediately caught my attention and I've got interested because she sent a screenshot showing her total earnings of 2,210.88 CPRX.
By the way, just a little background, that sister I am referring to is my youngest sister who introduced noise.cash to me February last year. I've learned about read.cash from some noise.cash users who used to be read.cash users as well. I've then signed up in read.cash March last year. My first impression of read.cash is not that good because I initially thought that this platform is just for pro-bloggers only. But then my impression of the platform has changed when I saw one noise.cash shared her article link which I've noticed is written in Tagalog. That was August last year, into which we (Filipinos) are celebrating "Linggo ng Wika". Since then, I decided to write and publish articles again in read.cash (almost in a daily basis).
Anyways, back to ABRA, I sent direct message to my sister in Messenger to ask for more information about ABRA. And she indeed sent me the link which I've used to download the application from Google Play Store.
I've created my account and right after successful creation of account, I verified it immediately. Account verification is very straight forward. You will just prompted to take a photo of your ID, front first and then back. It has auto detection function by the way. It will wait until the focus and image in the designated box is already clear before it automatically capture the image. I've used my SSS ID (UMID) in the first step of the verification. Next step is scanning your face. All you have to do is fit in your face in the designated circle and then the application will do the scanning. And now, it's just a waiting game.
It didn't took that long before my account got verified. After few minutes, I've received the prompt that my identity has been verified. I immediately informed my youngest sister that I am done with the account creation and verification.
I've also received another prompt.
The prompt basically tells me that I'll be able to get a "Free Crypto" when I make my first deposit minimum $15. But I need to hold that balance in my wallet for minimum of 7 days in order to be eligible for the Free $15 worth of CPRX.
I then immediately transferred XRP in my ABRA wallet but it's taking some time before got reflected to my ABRA wallet. I am still waiting till this writing actually - almost 2 hours have passed already).
So while waiting, I tried to explore the application. First thing that caught my attention is the Earn icon located at the bottom part of the screen.
After clicking on the "Earn" icon, below screen popped up! By the looks of it, it seems to be listing the Cryptocurrencies eligible for yielding interest. Sounds interesting isn't it!?
I also noticed a small question mark located at the upper right side of the screen.
I am thinking that it could be the application's help page or FAQ page(frequently asked questions) which in turn, I am right.
It's a very organized page for me. The topics are properly categorized.
There's more topic categories available actually aside from my snapshot above.
If you're interested on ABRA's different earning programs, just browse the Abra Perx topic.
You will see all the information about CPRX under "Abra Perx" then select "What is it". This page explains what CPRX is and its tokenomics.
In the same Topic Category (Perx topic), there is a page entitled "What is the Abra Referral Program". Below is the snippet from the page showing how it works.
*KYC stands for Know Your ...... (mind freezing).....Actually, I've already forgotten what does "C" stands for. But that KYC is the account verification process (i.e uploading valid ID and scanning your face).*
As you can see from the above screenshot, once your referee deposited funds (minimum of $15) and hold the deposited funds in the ABRA wallet for 7 days, you and your referee will get $25 worth of CPRX.
You might also get confused of this pharagraph under the same topic page:
November 15th mentioned in that statement is November 15, 2021 (last year).
Hope this help!. If you're interested to try this to earn passive income, just download the application from google play store namely "**Abra: Buy Bitcoin & Earn Yield**" . Sign-up accordingly and when asked for a code, feel free to input mine (**RCBLNVFBF**) and both of us will be eligible for the $25 worth of CPRX for free once you've successfully deposited and help minimum of $15 in your Abra wallet.
And don't forget, aside from this $25, you will also get $15 as stated above for holding it for at least 7 days.
***Disclaimer: I am not a PRO on this and I don't have my own evidence of my earnings yet because I just signed-up as well hence please DYOR first.***
*** It's Okay ***
I've read of this news about NightBirde already passed away while I am scrolling my FB page earlier. I felt so sad as I look back on her America's Got Talent audition where she got Simon's Golden Buzzer song last year.
Jane (also known as "Nightbirde") is a 30 year old singer and writer. She has cancer. She battled cancer for years but she didn't let the cancer put her down. She face it with a beautiful smile.
She said that this song "it's okay" is a story of the last year of her life.
Her voice also gives so much justice to her written song. It's so stunning and you'll feel her emotion while singing it.
Listening to her while singing "it's okay" is like listening to a very creative story teller who tries to relay to her audience what she's going through.
https://youtu.be/CZJvBfoHDk0
And this word of wisdom from her really marked in my mind :
"You can't wait until....life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy".
I just love how positive she is despite of what she's going through. In fact, when one of the judges praises her smil and her beautiful glow, this is what she said:
"It's important that everyone knows I'm so much more than the bad things that happened to me"
She inpired a lot. And I am pretty sure, she also inspired those who's dealing with cancer or sickness. She inspired them to keep on fighting and spread positivity despite the pain and all the suffering caused by illness.
Imagine, when she said she only has 2 percent (2%) of survival, I felt so amazed because she still managed to stay positive and happy because for her but 2% is not zero percent.
And since I am so in love her song, I decided to record it in WeSing. And of course my son won't let him left behind. He sang the song with me.
This is my first ever recorded/posted song in wesing.
Here's the lyrics of the song.
*I moved to California in the summertime I changed my name thinking that it would change my mind*
*I thought that all my problems they would stay behind*
*I was a stick of dynamite and it just was A matter of time, yeah*
*Oh, dang, oh, my,*
*now I can’t hide*
*Said I knew myself but I guess I lied*
*It’s okay, it’s okay*
*it’s okay, it’s okay*
*If you’re lost*
*We’re all a little lost*
*and it’s all right*
*It’s okay, it’s okay*
*it’s okay, it’s okay*
*If you’re lost*
*We’re all a little lost and it’s all right*
*It’s all right*
*it’s all right*
*It’s all right*
*I wrote a hundred pages, but I burned them all*
*Yeah, I burned them all*
*I blow through yellow lights and don’t look back at all*
*I don’t look back at all*
*Oh, dang, oh, my,*
*now I can’t hide*
*Said I knew myself but I guess I lied*
*It’s okay, it’s okay*
*it’s okay, it’s okay*
*If you’re lost*
*We’re all a little lost*
*and it’s all right*
*It’s okay, it’s okay*
*it’s okay, it’s okay*
*If you’re lost*
*We’re all a little lost and it’s all right*
*it’s all right to be lost sometimes*
Nightbirde is truly an inspiration to all of us. And I believe, she already fulfilled her puspose in her life by joining America's Got Talent. She gave hope to those who are already hopeless and she shared enthusiasm to those who are having hard time to find their true purpose in life. Her song is like saying to all of us that "it's okay", there is always hope.
Cheap but Useful
Good day everyone! This article is my entry in writing prompt challenge initiated by @MoonTrader entitled : "**#WritingPrompt2: Isn't expensive, yet means a lot".**
These are the things that I considered as cheap yet so valuable and very useful in my daily life.
First is this mini fan I bought from shopee.
As far as I can recall, I bought it for like less then $2.0 USD. Apologies, I tried to search it from my purchase history but having hard time because I bought it way back 3 years ago.
The main purpose why I ordered it is for my youngest son (still a baby back then). It is always annoying and tiring whenever there is a power interruption if you have a baby because you need to make "paypay" all night long until the power comes back. Also, I used this fan whenever he is on the cradle to make sure he is well ventilated and also, to protect his face from mosquitos as well.
Now that my son is 3 years old already (going four years old this coming Marxh), this item serves as my daily fan whenever I am working (from home). You might wonder why I prefer this rather than the normal sized fan. It is because this fan can give convinience to me yet it do not produce loud noise specially when I am on a meeting or in a call.
This is my best buy so far..and take note, it just costs less than $2.00. There are still lots of this item available in shopee, you can check it out if you're interested to purchase this one. By the way, it is not rechargeable, so you need to plug it into a powerbank or in your laptop or cpu for it to operate.
Next in my list is this usb lamp.
It's so useful in my work as well. It just costs less then $1.0,still from shopee. I use it in a daily basis. My desktop is quietfar from the window when I moved my mini office to another room (larger room) here in our house yet I am having diffulty seeing the letters in my keyboard and slows me down from typing or encoding. During day time, there are instances where the weather is so hot and you don't want to open the light in the room because it contributes to having a hot temperature. Hence, this one is my solution. Instead of turning on the light in our room, I plug this instead in my cpu and that's it!.It solves my typing probs.
This is also very useful in my daughter's online class, because they are required to have their camera open all throughout their class. My daughter is using my computer in her online class in the morning and as I've said, since my pc location is quiet against the window, the natural light is not good enough to provide a clear image in the camera. The room light however produces some shadows that blocks my daughter' view whenever she writes in her notebook hence, this usb lamp became so useful to me and to my job daughter's online class. This usb lamp serves as her ring light during their class. It's so cheap yet so useful!.
And last but not the least, this grocery organizer.
This one only costs $3.75 (almost $4.00). I did not expect this one to last long actually when I am assembling the parts. They seems not sturdy as opposed to how it looks in the photo.
My purpose of buying this one, actually, is to be my kid's biscuit organizer. It has 4 wheels, hence my kids can drag it anywhere inside our house. But then,I run out of storage for some of my groceries hence, I decided to use this one.
However, As you can see, I had to put string in every layer to make it sturdy and to make each layer in place. But guess what, that's more than 6 months already yet no sign of giving up. I removed its wheels by the way to make it fix and stable.
And that concludes my article for today! If you also wanted to join the writing prompt , please see below are the rules.
Checked-out!
Hello my fellow readers and writers. I've been off for few days already. I've been so busy hence not able to pay a visit in here.
Anyways, since I am having trouble finding a good sleep again and my mind just don't want to take a rest for a daily recharge yet, I have decided to scroll my shopee cart and it was a good visit because it reminded me that we're already running out of stock on facemask.
Here are the items that I finally took out of my cart for today.
First in my list is the retractable mobile phone stand.
This is my second time ordering this very the same item from this shop. I find it very useful and a very effective yet so cheap cell phone holder. I can comfortably charge my phone as well in an inclined position without worrying about the cord. My husband also loved this hence I decided to order 2 items. Since I already have 1, so the additional 2 will be for my son so that he don't have to hold his phone all the time while he is attending online class, and the other one will be for my husband since he always borrow my cellphone atand whenever he is betting in online sabong, char! I mean whenever he is watching movies from his phone.
Next in my list is this mini alcohol sprayer.
When you're going to check the price of this in malls, it ranges from 50 PHP to 60PHP. But in shopee, it just costs 15 PHP to 20PHP depending on the color. It already became my habit to chain a mini sprayer alcohol in my bag everytime I go out (i.e for grocery). It's very handy and easy access.
I bought only two of these because I already got one. I'll give one to my husband and then one for my youngest son because for sure he will took mine once he saw that I gave his Papa one. He is a jealous toddler actually.Everything that his brother or sister has, he also wants to have the same.
And of course the reason why I decided to do a check-out and clean some from my cart for today, the facemask. I love this kind of facemask because it's thicker than the normal one and it can fit my entire mouth and nose.
It's price can still be considered as cheap, only 1.++ php only per piece. I bought 15 packs of 10 which means it's 150 pieces of KF94 facemask. I think it will be enough for more than 1 month already. 5 packs of these will be sent to our store because occasionally, there are still some who bought it per piece. I think they might be those that don't have stock of facemask or who run out of stock of facemask from their home. I sell it for 5PHP each only hence I have 3.++ pesos of income per piece.
Lastly, I've also ordered this very cheap hanging mask rope. It only costs 7 pesos per piece.
I already have two of this, so I bought three more so that each of us (me, my husband and my three kids) can have it whenever we go outside. I find this mas hanging rope very useful specially for my toddler who frequently remove his facemask when we're outside. He is not comfortable wearing facemask. With this rope, I don't have to put in new facemask to him everytime he throw it away because it remains hanged after he removed it from his nose.
All in all, these checked out items costs 300 Pesos flat including the shipping fee of 10 pesos only. It was originally 55 pesos but I managed to avail free shipping voucher hence got a discount lf 45 pesos in the shipping fee.
As usual, it's Cash on Delivery method. I am not really comfortable in paying the items online or linking my credit card or debit card in my shopee account. I feel more secure whenever I choose COD. I somehow want some assurance first that the item that I am going to pay will be delivered successfully in front of our door (char!).
And that's my checked-out items for today!.
*May bulsa po ako sa balat talaga kaya kung ano lang ang kailangan, yun lang ang binibili ko talaga.*
See you around folks! Many thanks for spending your time reading this one!.
ThowbackSerye: A Flashback on my First Love Story 2
**Part 1:** https://read.cash/@Khing14/throwbackserye-a-flashback-on-my-first-love-story-47d8877c
*Note: this is the continuation of the above article.*
I then responded: "Wala na kayo? E diba nagsusulatan pa nga kayo hanggang ngayon? "
He replied , "wala na kami nun matagal na, may boyfriend na nga yung iba doon."
I don't know but I don't really believe him however a big part of me wanted to believe him.
And then I recalled there is another girl that was linked to her. So in that the same moment, I asked him "E si xxxx, diba girlfriend mo din yun?".
He then responded back: " Huh? Wala na din yun. Kasi nalaman namin na mag third cousin pa kami ".
The way he responded to my questions seems he is really willing to pursue his interest with me. In other words, I finally allowed him to become my official suitor.
Since then, he has always sent me to our house each afternoon after our class. And then during exams, he and his friends who are also my classmates always came to visit and create a reviewer with me and my aunt. On Friday night, they join us with our bible study, though I am pretty sure their intention or rather his intention is just to see me and make "ligaw" of me.
At school, he used to send me a note written on a small piece of paper..guess what the note was? Nothing but "I love you" (kilig to the bones naman si Inday)..
And then it was **Friday, December 14th, 2001**, during our **ROTC**...our teacher already called our section to a platoon formation. He is our Corps Commander at that time which means the march won't start without him.
When almost all of my classmates are already out of our room, he cornered me in our classroom and asked me the question that I am trying to avoid ever since. I am trying to avoid it because I know that I will easily and surely, immediately answer "yes".
I tried to change the topic and divert his attention to our classmates that are already in formation and waiting for him to start. He ignored it. I felt pressured, hence I told him, "sige an nga, oo na, tayo na"..I felt really shy while we were walking towards my classmates in the field. I went to my platoon immediately while he went in front of us because as I have mentioned, he was our Corps Commander.
**First MonthSary**
During our first month of being together, I don't actually feel any changes as compared with the time that he's just suiting me. He even wasn't able to hold my hand. I am not sure but it really felt awkward for me, maybe because he was my first BF.
Inside the campus, you cannot see us sitting together or eating together, as if we're not BF/GF. We continue to have our own lives with our friends and other classmates. But he still continued the tradition of sending me home every afternoon right after the class. He is also visiting me during weekends and still joining us in our bible study together with his friends.
Even in our first monthsary, he is the one who greeted me. I didn't greet him because I don't even know that term before. I don't know that there's that kind of monthly celebration.
Second and Third MonthSary
In our second month, it's when I allowed him to hold my hand (HHWW) but in one condition, only if nobody sees us.
And then the time flies so fast. On our third month, while we were walking going home from the bible study, it was dark that night. He suddenly held my hand and asked me to slow down. And when he's already sure that nobody's in our back, he asked my permission if he could "kiss" me. At first, of course, I hesitated. First, I worried that some of my churchmates would see us while he was kissing me, and second, I don't know how to respond just in case because I have never been into kissing and never been kissed by anybody.
But then he's very consistent. In other words, I gave up and finally allow him to kiss me. I cannot recall what exactly that date is but I can still clearly recall how I responded... Just imagine that he's just kissing a statue..hahaha...
Here comes the graduation!. We were both so happy because we are able to get the Valedictorian and Salutatorian award. His grade has improved a lot since we became bf/gf . Uyy, hindi ko sya pinapakopya huh, kahit assignments, kanya kanya kami. Just like what I've said, whenever we're inside the campus, you wouldn't even notice that there's something between us two. We have our own life together as a student. We spend our time at school separately.
LDR for more than 4 Years
And that's the start of our LDR relationship. I studied college here in Cavite while he went to the Northern Luzon (La Union). We're LDR for more than 4 years!. But every semestral break and summer vacation, before he goes home to our province (Oriental Mindoro), he will first drop by to our house and stay there for 1 to 2 days. The same goes when he is about to go back to La Union. He will first drop by and stay for 1 to 2 days. That's been our set-up for 4 years (until he graduated college).
Happily Married
Fast forward.... after 8 years of being together as bf/gf, we became husband and wife. It is unplanned though because our trophy (son) came first so we don't have a choice but to get married before I deliver our son so that he will be able to carry his surname and we won't have any issues with the birth certificate. During that time, the law is very strict. A baby will only be allowed to use his father's surname if the parents are married.
Now, we already have three trophies (kids). Our eldest is 12 years of age already, followed by my daughter who is 8 years old already, and then our youngest is going 4 years old this coming March. There are lots of trials, attitude issues from both of us, and some more but the most important thing I appreciate with him is that ever since we've been bf/gf till now that we're already husband and wife, "he never had another woman".
And that's how my first and last love story went through. He is my first, and He will also be my Last.
By the way, here's his Vday gift to me. I am actually a bit surprised because he doesn't usually do that.
And then when I went down early morning earlier, the dining table was set-up already. He cooked my favorite breakfast (Silog and fried dried fish). That chicken feet adobo is our left-over from dinner. And there's more, he already prepared our coffee. It made my day!.
I hope you enjoyed reading my articles guys!. I had fun reminiscing about my teenage life too!.
ThrowbackSerye: A flashback on my first love story.
Hi folks! It's officially Valentines Day alreday today, February 14, 2022.
And since it is about story of heart today, let me reminisce my first and love story
I was on second year high school when I first learned about the word "crush". I don't know and have no interest in this world before. But one day, my classmate asked me to join fill-up her "Slam book". I know those who are in 80's and 90's knows about Slam book. It is a notebook compilation of questions into which you need to answer each of them. First set of questions are about yourself like:
Your hobby/hobbies
Your ambition
Favorite Color
Favorite Fruit
Favorite teacher
Favorite food
Etc
Second set of questions are about your opinion of a specific topic like:
What is crush
What is love
What is your first impression about the owner of the slam book
And the final set of question is all about "kilig". It is about your crush/love.
That moment when I was asked to fill-up a slam book for the first time is very memorable to me. Why? Funny but it is because of the question "What is crush?". With all honesty, that was the first time I bumped into that word and guess what I did?..I borrowed my classmate's English-Tagalog dictionary and look for the translation of the word "crush". Some of us in the class use to bring our own english-tagalog dictionary so that whenever our teacher asked us to write anessay, we won't have trouble translating our thoughts from tagalog to english.
During that time, I already have someone in our class which I admired the most. And so when I learned that "crush" just like mean about admiration, under the question "who is your crush?" I have written the code I have given to my crush. Feel free to laugh at me, I know it's soooo baduy. I gave him a code name of "Lupin". I am not sure if you guys know that anime series entitled Lupin III (the third). I gave my crush that code name because as I describe it "he always steal my eyes, my attention, my mind, and I think even my heart? Char!.
I am the top performer in my class during my high school days. That means, my every answer to that slam book is like magnet to everyone's eyes (ang daming marites sa mga classmates ko).
My classmates became so intruiged about who my cursh is and so eager to find out who is it. They always ask me who is that Lupin but I keep it as secret because I know that once they found out who is it, they are going to tease me which will lead to my crush finding out my top secret that time.
I even made a poem for my crush, but then my classmate stole it from my backpack and spread it like lightning not only to our section but to other section as well. I felt so embarrased that time but then I still felt so secured because I never put in any name in that poem.
My crush has girlfriend since he became my crush actually (never sya nabakante"). He is kind of girl's ideal man in the campus I think because some other girls also adored him. He is not a good looking guy but you know what, almost all of my beautiful classmates became his girlfriend. Just imagine how awkward it is to look at your crush while sitting on the grass with his girlfriend. Those views are so painful to my eyes!.
When we're on third year high school, I am not sure but he still remains as my crush. Nothing has changed. I always wanted to see him, that's why I think I've got perfect attendance during my high school days. I am always excited to go to school because I always wanted to see him. He became my inspiration. During this time, lots of classmates noticed that I have feelings to him already and I finally gave up and revealed to some of them (those who are close to me) who my Lupin is. And as expected, they teased me to death. Gosh!..And so, he already learned that top secret of mine.
It was intramurals week when me and my best friend was sitting in beside the stage when he suddenly came up with his friends. You know what? My best friend told him in front of me that He was my crush. "Toto crush ka daw ni Khing". During that time, all I wanted is to disappear! But you know what? His response made me to like him more. "Crush lang naman, okay lang yun."
We are on third year high school when he had a serious relationship with one of my classmates. I can say that it's serious because I do see his effort for that girl. But then something happened and that girl needed to leave and go to other province. During that time, there's no mobile phone yet hence their only sort of communication is via letter only.
In short, he is in LDR when we started the school year of 2001-2002. But guess what? October of 2001 when he started to make "ligaw" of me. I will never forget the day, I mean the night when he first told me that he loves me.
It was night before the wedding day of one of our relatives in a nearby Baryo. My aunt (just 1 year older than me) who is also our classmate asked us to go and witness the vow of our relatives, hence, I go with them. It's been a tradition in our province that before a girl and boy tie a knot in the church, they always set-up a party the night before the wedding day.
When we arrived at the place, my aunt asked me to accompany her outside but she did not told me the reason why do we need to go outside. She asked me to sit in a tricyle but then after a while she said she will just look for something and told me not to leave and so that's what I did. All of a sudden, my crush arrives. I knew that time that I was set-up. I am not sure why but I never asked questions on how did they planned for that night.
Since then, he started courting me. I know that he and his last girlfriend never had a proper closure hence technically, they are still bf/gf.
Everyday, after class, he walked with me to our house (I am living with my grandparents that time) before he goes home. While we're walking together, he told me formally that he wanted to court me. But my response to him is "Diba may girlfriend ka ? bakit mo ako liligawan eh may girlfriend kapa?..He then replied "wala na kami nun".
Oopppss! I think this article is getting longer already. I never thought that it will be a long writing and of course I don't want to bore you hence I will cut it from here and will post the part two tomorrow.
Wanted to make a guess? Do you think I have believed in him?.Watch out for the second part to know the ending!.
My lead image is a glimpse of how do I look during my high school days (para magka idea kayo kung gaano ako ka "nene").
If I may recall it correctly, this photo was taken during our Third Year High school's recognition day hence the ribbons in our chest "hindi pa uso ang medal noon dahil wala atang budget ang mga teachers namin".
Sis @yhanne , now ko lang nakita..tenchuness sa trust and patuloy na pagsama sa akin sa read.cash journey ko...appreciate it!
Writing Something to Make my Mind Occupied
It's past 3:00 AM already but my brain just can't shutdown yet.
Image source https://www.google.com/search?q=cannot+sleep&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiy-vS_-vr1AhWyNaYKHaIKBPAQ2-cCegQIABAC&oq=cannot+sleep&gs_lcp=ChJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWcQARgAMgQIABATMgQIABATMgQIABATMgQIABATMgQIABATOgoIIxDvAxDqAhAnOgcIIxDvAxAnOgQIABADOgQIABBDOggIABCABBCxAzoHCAAQsQMQQzoFCAAQgAQ6BAgAEB5QmQlYoRpguSBoAnAAeACAAYcBiAHbC5IBBDAuMTKYAQCgAQGwAQXAAQE&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&ei=NxIIYvKCNrLrmAWilZCADw&bih=670&biw=384&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&prmd=ivnx#imgrc=ejec-7u2zCWQXM
I've been laying in bed for about 2 hours now but I just don't know why my mind can't put me to sleep yet. I tried to force myself to sleep but it's rather giving me a headache, so I decided to get up, pick up my phone, and write an article. I guess it's more worth it making the time more productive than just waste it laying in bed and forcing myself to sleep.
However, our wifi connection is gone for some reason. I think the router has some problem as we also needed to restart it twice earlier but now, the restart is no longer working to restore our internet connection back.
Good thing I am enrolled to a postpaid plan of Sun Cellular and I've got 4GB consumable data for a month. That's what I am using at the moment. Hopefully read.cash is not a big resource eater though.
Having a postpaid plan saves me on situations like this, plus I am having a free device in each of my contract renewal. They call it as loyalty program thingy I guess. And speaking of being loyal, I am using sun cellular since 2008, which means, my postpaid is 13 years old already!..oh wow, that's more than a decade!..
I just hope that when they've fully migrated to Smart, their quality of service remains.
Anyways, I don't really have a topic for tonight or I would rather say for this early morning because there are lots of things circling around inside of my head. I think they are the reason why I couldn't sleep as well.
First thing that's bothering me are my daughter's assignments. We're already left behind actually. Her assignments are already due but I just think that we still need to catch up despite of being late. I've already requested their teacher to move the assignments' deadline to weekends because not all of the parents are available to help their kids with their assignments. My daughter is just a Second Grader that's why she still needs some guidance and assistance on her homeworks. But it doesn't seems to be the case because the teacher is still setting the assignments deadline the very next day after it was given.
Second thing that's bothering me is the upcoming 60th birthday of my father. I am the eldest hence the responsibility is on me, plus, I am also the breadwinner amongst my siblings. That means most of the expences will be shouldered by me. The thing is, my father's birthday is Mid of May and as most of the parents know here in the Philippines, that month is enrollment month for most of the schools. And next school year, I will have three students to enroll already. It means, our school expenses will increase 50% of what we're currently have.
There's few more that keeps on bugging me but I decided to not disclose them. Better to keep them in myself for now.
Change topic. Let me take this opportunity to share with you my havested turmeric yesterday afternoon. Please refer to the image below.
I think they are more than 2 kgs. I washed them and removed their tentacles (I don't know how to describe them but I am actually referring to the thinner roots attached to each of them.
I told my husband to bring them and sell to his store because we are not able to consume them all for sure even for a year.
I just planted those turmerics in pots. And that's what I have in return from the 3 pots of turmeric I planted last year.
I think I've already written more than 600 words so I will cut it in here. I think I've successfully diverted my worries to thinking more about my hobbies now which sounds better.
Thank you so much guys for checking out this nonsenss article of mine!
I know this is a bit late but thank you so much @JonicaBradley for the renewal of your sponsorship..despite my absences lately..thanks much
WorkSerye: Constructive vs. Destructive Criticism
Did you ever criticize a person?. How do you normally approach him or her or whow do you choose the right words to make sure that he or she will not be offended with your honesty?
I just wanted to share with you my most recent experience of being critized by my colleague which has caused an impact to my mood, my behavior and my way of thinking (for a short span of time).
Maybe some of you can still recall when I mentioned in my previous articles about my initiative in automations to help reduce the timw and effort doing a specific job manually.
For those who don't know me yet or for those who bumped in my article for the first time, I am currently working as an IT Analyst in an Australian Company.
My current work's nature of job is very similar to my previous ones, however, this is the first time for me to support Windows Applications. My skillsets that I acquired from my previous work are more of about linux and mainframe platforms.
Moving on, as mentioned above, I've put in lots of effort automating our tasks to save time and effort and most of all, reduce the probability of "human error".
And I learned that Powershell is a very powerful programming language in terms of automating Windows process. Hence, I urged myself to self-study powershell. "Google" has been my tutor eversince I started learning powershell scripting.
Things are going with me because I am able to automate a lot of our manual work in a very short span of time.
In each of my automations, I always make sure to create a documentation to guide my colleagues on how to use it properly. And for those who are interested to learn how my code works, I make sure that I have added a comment in each steps of my scripts documenting what that steps are for. In other words, even if the reader is not familiar about powershell scripting, he or she can easily understand my script just by looking at the step description.
Once everything is ready, I usually send an email to my colleagues sharing about my script and sharing the "how to" document that I've prepared.
My Boss is very happy and so proud of what I have developed so far. In fact, he forwarded onw of them to his Superior as well.
However, I have this one colleague (he is more senior than me), who seems to be not happy with my achievements.
A week after I've shared about this one of my automations, he replied on top of it. I thought being my senior,he will be proud of me because of my initiatives. But then it seems not the case.
I won't copy and paste here his exact wordings but the thought of his email ia like he is saying that my script will juat mislead the team because of its limitations. He even mentioned that he already thought of doing the same automation before but he did not pushed through it because he think it's useless.
I replied and explained about the scope and limitation of my script but he doesn't want to accept it. He keep on insisting that my script is not effective, or something like that.
When I can't take his words anymore, I've approached my other senior colleague and consulted about that email that my other colleague has sent.
Good thing, my other senior colleague understands the purpose of my script and he think that it will help the team hence, he stepped in and replied on top of our mail conversation and explain articulately what I am trying to explain initiatlly to my colleague that's not happy about my work.
And you know what? All of a sudden, my not so happy colleague pulled back and agreed to use my script moving forward.
If you're in my place, what will you think and feel about it?..
I felt so upset that day. I just cannot understand why is he trying to pull me down? I mean, he knows about my background because he is the one who conducted technical interview to me the time that I am still applying for thia position. His reaction is opposite of my Boss' reaction. I even told my other subordinates that his criticism is a destructive one! Instead of motivating me to continue with my initiatives, he demotivated me.
So that's what we need to be reminded of whenever we are giving feedback to others. We need to think ahead on how our feedback will become a constructive one. We need to carefully choose the words that we are going to use. We ought to be sensitive enough to think of others feelings as well. And most importantly, show respect!.Respect the effort and time spent by that person just to achieve and complete his or her goals.
Good thing, in my case, instead of becoming demotivated and stop, I continue to enhance my powershell scripting. I continue to look for automation opportunities.
That would be all for now folks. It's 3:00AM already which means I gotta sleep now!..Thank you so much for spending your time in this article of mine.

It's Good to be Back!
Hi my fellow readers and writers! I'm finally back!. I've been off for more than 2 weeks I guess?
I am sure some of you have noticed my long absence, specially those whom I've been regularly exchanging comments already. Maybe some of you are already thinking what has happened to me, specially that my last two articles is about my Covid-19 experiences..Apologies folks if I made some of you worried about my whereabout.
So before anything else, I mean, before posting any articles, I wanted to let you know the main reason for my sudden disappearance.
Three weeks ago, I've been so occupied at work. We had a severity one outage that impacted all of the firm's applications because our entire primary datacenter lost power. That means, all of our applications went down. And hence we needed to fail them over to our secondary datacenter orelse our company will lost lots of money due to no trading activity can be done caused by trading applications being down.
On the day where the outage happened, I have extended 8 hours from my normal 9-hour shift, including 1 hour break time.
I am supposed to logoff by 11:00 pm but that day, my shift ends 7:00 AM the following day. It took me lots of time before I qm able to completely failover the applications that I am responsible of to our secondary servers. There are lots of challenges specially in establishing successful connections with different exchanges from our secondary servers but I am able to resolve them all on that very the same day. I acquired 8 hours overtime just for that day. If I may recall it correctly, it happened Tuesday.
I am super tired already and sleepy by the time I've finished failing over our applications to the secondary datacenter (7:00 AM) but since that week was also my kids' exams week, I needed to extend my sleep time further to 9:00AM because I needed to help review my daughter on her subjects. They aren't able to attend some of their lessons the week that my entire household was infected by Covid that's why I needed to help her catch up with her lessons.
And then on the succeeding days, we have to deal with the after shock effect of the major outage. There were days that I needed to start my shift early or I needed to login before my actual shift because of some issues being escalated by our users. There are still lots of issues that's arising within that outage week but luckily they are just minor ones and we are able to resolve them in a timely manner but then those keeps me so occupied at work. I cannot even scroll my phone during my shift. Admittedly, it's so tiring!..
Up until now, we're still trying to close the gaps that we have identified during the outage day but we're almost done.
It's exhausting yet it is a good opportunity for all of us to experience such level of outage because it's very rare. Never in my 13 years in IT industry did I experienced Datacenter level outage yet and it's same case to almost all of us in the firm.
I am still busy this week, specially because I am still refining our Disaster Recovery documents but it's more manageable now as compared with the previous weeks because our applications are so far stable in the secondary datacenter already.
And that's it!..Hopefully, no further big issues will arise at work so that I would be able to interact with all of you again regularly.
It's almost 3:00 AM now which means I have to go bed already.
Cheers everyone!
Things I did to Overcome the Symptoms of Covid virus
Disclaimer: Everything in this article is based on my personal experience only.
Hi folks!.I am having hard time to sleep yet hence I decided to write an article detailing the things that I did when I am suffering from Covid-19 infection.
Suob
First in my list is **SUOB**. I do not know the english translation of this but to give you an idea, suob is a traditional way of us (Filipinos) to inhale the steam coming from a container with hot water and salt. In my case, here is my preparation for it.
I heated about 1.8 liters of water. Once boiled, I transferred the water into a plastic container (a pale) and then added some salt into it. I did not measured how much salt did I melted into it actually, so I just used my "tantyahan" system.
After that, I have placed the pale with salt and hot water solution into the floor, just in front of my chair. I then took a blanket and covered myself together with the pale with the hot water and salt solution so that the steam coming from it will go straight to my face (nose and mouth) for me to directly inhale it. I remained in that position till the steam is completely gone (after more or less 10 minutes).
Ginger Candy
Next to my list is the **ginger** **candy.** During my 3rd to 4th day of infection, my throat really hurts so bad because of the irritation and maybe it has scratches as well inaide caused by my non-stop cough episodes. So to ease the throat itchiness, I made a ginger candy. I just basically put in my mouth an ample size of of peeled ginger and slowly biting it to extract the ginger juice and directly swallow it. I've read in the internet before that ginger can ease the swelling so I thought of doing that to help soothe my itchy yet painful throat.
I also gave this thing to my eldest son because same as mine, he has some episodes of non-stop coughing as well. You can imagine it like your body don't want to stop coughing because there seems to be a very tiny piece of thing tingling in your throat. Eventhough your mind wanted to stop it already, your body can't.. That episodes actually forces your tummy muscles and making it sore everytime you cough. That's what I meant by the non-stop coughing episodes.
Ginger tea
I've also made some **ginger** **tea**. I am not sure if it can be called as tea but what I did is add some peeled ginger into a cup of hot water and sip it specially if there's itchiness attack. Sipping it gives my throat a comfort and soothes the pain as well.
When the pain is becoming more intense, I sometimes drink **cold** **water** as well. I remember this recommendation from my eldest son's pedia when he got tonsilitis before, the pedia advised us to give my son some cold drinks or foodies as it helps sooth the swelling and gives relief to the pain. So during my covid infection, I tried this technique as well and I think, for me it works.
Salinase for clogged nose
Aside from cough, I also suffered from clogged nose during my covid infection. The clogged nose is the main reason for my sleepless nights because I totally cannot breathe from my nose. I tried to elevate my head but it didn't helped at all. Good thing my husband has salinase spray for his allergic rhinitis. I used the spray to help loosen the airways inside my nose. And I think it has helped me somehow.
You may be wondering why I didn't have any medicine for my cough and colds yet? That's because it is too difficult to buy medicine. Everything is out of stock! Even the paracetamol. It was only on my 4th day of infection when I started to drink Carbocisteine for my cough and Sinupret for my colds . Those medicines are as per the Doctor's recommendation after our telemedicine consulation. The doctor also gave me Bilastine for the throat itchiness.
But even though I started to take medicines, I atill continued to do the SUOB, the ginger candy thingy and the ginger tea as well.
And those are the stuffs I did to overcome the symptoms of covid-19. Thankfully, my family symptoms are not severe, hence, our immune system wasable to cope up and beat the virus well.
So my remindsr to everyone, don't be relaxed. Our enemy is invisible. We will never know whether the virus is already in front of us or not.
Always be reminded to sanitize your things, and your surroundings to keep yourself and your family away from the virus. Implement social distancing when you go outside, alwqys wear face mask and always bring alcohol as well..Make it a habit to sanitize your hands from time to time.
But the most important thing is, **boost your immune system!.**

Covid-19 (Omnicron) Symptoms : Based on my Personal Experience
Hi folks! It's undeniable that I am a currently surviving Covid like what I've shared in my last article the other day.
So for all those who haven't experienced it yet, and curious about it, here we go! I will be sharing some symptoms.
We all suffered from the same symptoms here in our house by the way, hence, we believe that the virus that hits us is Omnicron, but there's no scientific evidence for that.
*Disclaimer: These are all based in my personal experience.*
Symptoms
**Muscle Pain and Back Pain.** On my first day of infection, I felt some muscle pains and back pain. At first, since I don't have any idea that it was covid, I thought that the cold weather is the one causing my back pain specially at the spinal cord area where I've received the anesthesia before during my first and second delivery (epidural). It's just the past few days when I realized that it's already an early sign of Covid when I've read somewhere that backpain is one of the symptoms.
*I first felt the symptoms when we're still at the beach last Saturday celebrating my daughter's birthday.* *But don't worry. I'm sure none of the other guests got infected because we do have our own bahay kubo and we keep distance from other guests as well.*
**Sore Throat and Itchyness.** These symptoms manifested on our first night at the beach. I can't sleep well already that night due to itchy throat. It's like I have to cough from time to time. Also, my throat is a bit painful already that night.
Again, since I don't have any idea that it could be a covid already, I thought it's just due to our cold drinks and cold weather that may have caused me slight cold which leads to soar throat and itchyness.
*In other words, I just ignored all my symptoms on the first day.*
**Fatigue**. This is the symptom that's became too pretty obvious to me as well because I really felt tired from the start of the infection. I don't want to move as much as possible because I felt so tired for no reason.
**Colds**. If I may recall it correctly, this symptom became evident on my third day. I had a clogged nose which caused me to struggle in sleeping.
**Cough**. This one causes a lot of suffering to me. I've got multiple sleepless nights due to cough attacks. This coughing episodes also caused me to irritate my throat more hence, it caused much more pain for multiple days. But I didn't have difficulty in swallowing dur to this.
**Fever** **and HeadAche**. I can tell that the headache caused by the covid virus is not that common. It's not just the same as the common headache we had when we have a common fever or flu. It's like x2 more intense than that. It will give you a feeling of like your skull is breaking into pieces. I felt the pain striking from both the left and right side of my head. I suffered from this I believe for 2 days (on my second and third day of infection).
**Burning feeling inside**. For you to have an idea of it, there's one day where my husband approached me that he's burning in fever. And then when I touched him, guess what, hia temperature is nearly normal. I mean, it is not normal but it's just slightly elevated and not the burning heat that he can feel inside. That is how we feel on our second and third day if I may recall it correctly. You can feel your eyes a bit irritated due to that feeling as well. It's difficult to look even on my phone hence all I have to do is to lay in bed and try to sleep as much as I can.
**Nausea**. This one is not that consistent to me but I felt dizzy sometimes. Maybe it is also due to the lack of sleep caused by my colds and cough.
**Diarrhea**. I suffered from this symptoms on my 7th day of infection. Something is causing my tummy to like boil which sends me to the toilet. It happens for like 4 to 5 times a day. It's not that serious but still, too annoying because it's not usual to poop more than once a day for me.
**Easily gets Irritated** **and Annoyed**. I easily gets irritated. Maybe it's due to the suffering I've got caused by the covid symptoms but it's been noticeable that my patience becomes x2 shorter than before.
You may also wondering if I have lost my appetite or smell or taste buds, unfortunately, not!. Maybe it reduces a bit because of the clogged nose, but overall, I still eat good during my entire infection.
Another question you might have in your mind is whether I am fully vaccinated or not. The answer is yes and I believe the vaccine helped my body beat the virus without the needs of hospitalization, though I needed to consult a doctor as well because I needed medical certificate to present at work during my sick leave period when I don't have the antigen result yet.
As a closing remarks, in this pandemic, we do not have any choice but to live with the virus. The only thing that make it more challenging for us is that our enemy is invisible. We cannot see or touch it hence we cannot do anything once it hits us! So it is better to prepare ourselves on what are we gonna do if in case the virus hits us. Preparedness (both mentally and physically) is very important.
As for their saying that children can handle it (covid) because they have strong immune system as compared to us (adult), based on my experience with my kids, yes it's true.
But it doesn't mean that we can be just ao relax with our kids. We still need to protect them from the virus because who knows, days from now, it may mutate to a tougher version of covid again.
I pray the Lord to guide our scientists or personnels to discover the ultimate medicine to stop this pandemic.
I'm gone from here for 1 week due to Covid infection. Will RandomRewarder still recognize me despite my multiple absences?..
Covid-19 +
Hi my fellow readers and writers!.It's more than a week since I last posted in here!
Friday night last week, I posted about our planned getaway to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday. Saturday last week, we went to the nearby province and spend our overnight in a resort. Everything went well. We all had some fun.
We left our house at around 11:30AM in the morning. At around 2:00PM, we arrived in our destination. My father and my nephew accompanied us. Upon arriving, my husband immediately went to the reception area to book for our kubo house. We're not aware that they have a maximum headcount per kubo. We thought that we will be staying in a single kubo house together. But then, only 4 pax is allowed per kubo, hence, my husband booked two kubo houses instead. My husband and the kids on one kubo house and then my father and my nephew ln the other kubo house.
We all first took our lunch upon check in. And then after few minutes, we changed outfit (swimming attire).
We first enjoyed in the swimming pool despite the very cold water. My kids also played their cookware toys while on the water.
And then after an hour or two, we changed our setting and went to the sea.
Of course, I won't let this beautiful reflection in the water passed by without having a click from my phone.
And then during the nigh time, after our dinner, we rented the billiards and table tennis. 100 pesos per hour each.
My nephew and my father played table tennis while my husband and my youngest son played billiards. My daughter and my eldest son are just roaming around, while me is busy doing facebook live.
Everybody had a good time that night. We all enjoyed our bonding together and my daughter (the birthday girl) enjoyed it a lot as well.We went to bed at around 1:00AM already.
The next day, Sunday, we woke up early to catch the sun at the sea for the vitamin sea. We just finished a cup noodles. I accompanied my kids to the shore while my husband was left to cook for our proper meal for breakfast.
The sea is much beautiful that morning. You can see the clear reflection of the blue sky in the water and the waves are more calm.as well.
We left the resort at around 11:00AM that day. We all felt tired when we arrived in our house at around 2:00PM in the afternoon of the same day, hence, we all took a nap. We woke up at around 6:00PM already.
The next day, Monday, I woke up at 7:00AM to prepare my kid'sbreakfast because they have school schedule as well. I noticed that my daughter is not well. While eating her breakfast, she cries and complaints about her sore legs and arms. At first I thought it's just because she's tired so I let her not attend her class that day. After sometime, she cried again and complaints the same. That's when we noticed that her temperature is quite elevated. We then gave her paracetamol (good thing we still have some.from.our refrigerator).
In the afternoon of the same day, all of us can feel the same symptoms. We started to have fever, cold and a bit of cough. All of us have it except for my father and my nephew. That's when I suspected that it could be Covid.
The next day, all of us are sick!. My husband, myself, and my three kids got the flu like symptomps including joint pain and back pain.
On the third day, Wednesday, my kids' fever started to subside. By Thursday, my husband and my fever are both gone as well. But then my cough is getting worst.
Since I am absent at work for more than 2 days already, I decided to go for telemedicine consultation. I booked an appointment to a pedia (for my kids) and to a general medicine doctor for me and my husband.
Bothe doctors are suspecting that we've got covid.
Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I decided to undergo antigen from a private clinic and as expected, both of our results are positive.
So far, today, it's only me and my eldest son who are currently suffering from cough that also make our nights rough. Hopefully, we will fully recover both soon!.
By the way, here is a snapshot of my antigen result.
