Problems In Social Media Nothing is perfect. There are tiny problems and minimal mistakes in almost-perfect things. Some people are thankful that social media exists nowadays because of its convenience. But aside from that, some people also began to notice the problems arising, which are becoming worse daily. Everyone got hooked on social media platforms because of the engagement, entertainment, and other opportunities. Whether or not scrolling on our phones has become part of our daily routines. And we cannot deny the fact that we are enjoying it. The message of this article for today is to remind everyone of the problems arising in social media. I tried to think about the disadvantages and decided to write them down. I know that social media plays a more significant role in our society nowadays, but let us not forget the problems alongside it.
**Addiction to Social Media** Some people get so lost in social media engagements that they cannot function well when they cannot be in the online world. The addiction kicks in when you start t be dependent on social media and cannot stand a minute without it. And it is one of the problems following the millions of users of social networks. Knowing how to handle it would be best without compromising anything from yourself. **Being dependent on online friends** When you start engaging with different people online, you enjoy their company even if you cannot see them. And some people become dependent on their virtual friends that they cannot start a conversation when meeting people offline. Maybe it is because they get used to interactions behind the scene. **Lack of productivity and focus** Sometimes our focus and productivity take the back seat because of the social media sites we always want to check. It would be best to avoid visiting several social networking websites, especially if they only tire your brain and contribute to your lack f focus. You can count on giving yourself time to finish the things you need to do first. Set your priorities and ensure that you achieve your target. **The Fear Of Missing Out** The most common syndrome caused by social media is the FOMO Syndrome, also called the “Fear Of Missing Out.” Some people always want to know and listen to the updates in other people’s lives. And when you are not able to do it, you feel anxious. It would be best to break and let go of this bad habit. **Privacy Issues** One of the worst problems that people face in social media is disturbing privacy issues. It is a severe problem that can happen anytime. Be more careful when spending time on social media and understand the pros and cons of using it. Also, educate your kids well on how they should engage themselves in the online platform.

Understandable naman kasi ate kapag productive naman sa online world, diba. Unlike sa iba na nagsasayang lang ng oras sa social media ng walang napapala.

On Social media we are just investing time without any productivity. I am using them just for entertainment and for some information I needed sometimes. Most of my times spend in Learning and Earning platforms.
That's another way of taking advantage of social media. But wasting time in it isn't good. It's good to know that you are aware of it.
Sa social media especially those influencer, kapag engaged sila sa online, konting kibot nila eh pinag uusapan sila or daming comments. Yan yung pinakaproblem nowadays sa social media, ang daming issues.
Tama :) Kaya kahit maraming pera na pumapasok sa influencers at vloggers, never ko pinangarap. Kasi nakikita ko kung paano makialam mga tao sa buhay nila. Walang privacy tapos parang kailangan lagi kang magpaliwanag sa mga tao kapag may mga problema.
Adik rin ako ate dati sa social media haha pati rin rito di ko namanage time ko efficiently ko haha. Buti na lang talaga may nabasa akong book, nakatulong sa mga adjustments ko. Dati sampung post kaya kong ishare sa isang araw ngayon minsan wala pa di na kasi nagagalaw mas naging opted ako ate sa noise
Ako naman sa Mobile Legends ako naadik before. Pero ngayon, naayos ko naman. Minsan nalang ako sumilip sa Facebook haha.
We couldn't deny that social media has brought us to a convenient life. It brings both disadvantages and advantages. Since we couldn't turn back time and live the way our ancestral live before...we just need to be discipline.

The privacy issue on social Media is becoming alarming on a daily basis. As far as I know, life/private problems should not be taken to social media because the advices you're expecting will come in the opposite form(attacks), as the case may be

I think for me, it affects me with my focus and being productive, i agree that we should focus on something that having everything online, which makes us lost concentration ad more stress.

I can't disagree with you as I have encountered those problems. Addiction, Privacy issues, being unproductive, FOMO, etc. It was too difficult for me to lie low on using socmed as I have become addicted to it and little by little, I did manage to control myself not to overuse social media.

It's true that people in hope of walking at par with the world and in the process being continuously posting their life on social media and at the same time exploiting various social media's put them at risk of being a victim of cyber attack. People also who are quite indulged in social media unconsciously lose their motivation to put their thoughts in other places.

I am slightly addicted to Tiktok. I cannot stop scrolling because I fin funny videos there. Also lightens my day when I see videos from TikTok. I am minimizing watching when I have work.

I was addicted with social media before but I realized how toxic it is...it also triggers my insecurities. Now I am using them for entertainment, I don't care that much about the toxic people.
Ako rin, naka-trigger din ng anxiety and insecurities ang social media sa akin. For entertainment purposes nalang din sya ngayon, and not a window of how my life's going.

I never been addicted to social media and it was a useful tool for me considering that I could use it to promote my articles. However, naging issue na sya sa akin especially when instead of encouraging more people to become more productive, parang iba ang nangyayari. Pag nakita nilang naka online ako, nandyan yung manghihingi or mangungutang. So I decided to minimize yung visit sa fb because of that.
The worst addiction is the social media addiction in that, you are controlled by alot of factors like electricity, subscription and even poor signals. You could imagine your series of heartaches if you are staying in a place with poor signal. But then life would have been boring without it.
In addition, it's the ME in media that is the problem. The generation of today is all about ME, ME, ME. That's why there is so much sensitivity. No one wants to take responsibility of what they post online. Think before you click.
You know what in social media we can gain disadvantages and advantages. In my case I'm being distracted of social media, cause instead of doing my task I tend to focus on watching videos than studying, well it's my fault also so we need to have discipline in engaging social media.
