It's another Sunday to go to his presence and show gratitude. What are you thankful for? For me, I am grateful for his unending love, unwavering mercies and his standby care. Always be grateful.....

What does this festive period remind you of? For me, it's a season where we should forgive whoever wrongs us and let love lead the way. Happy Easter my dear friends.
If it's by living each day right that we get to rich, then most of us would have own mansions by now. It takes nothing to be productive but it takes everything to be a failure. Make all the sacrifices now.
Today happens to be a memorable day in my life. I know you are wondering what's the gist about. Okay, the gist goes this way. The fact that I am alive, makes everyday interesting. Do have a beautiful weekend, dear friends.
A walk through the casualty ward today makes me weep. A lot of people are lying there on the bed because of negligence and other effects which could have been bypassed. I wouldn't say we shouldn't enjoy ourselves. But please, while taking alcohol do it in a moderate level, remember alcoholic lever disease. Do have a beautiful day, people.
Always try to get some sleep, no matter how short it is. It refreshes and also aids in memory consolidation.
Whenever he is, there is always an overflow. I hope you all had an opportunity to express your love to him today. Have a beautiful Sunday celebration.
Happy weekend my beautiful friends. I really miss everyone here. I will be back to read all the articles I have missed. Stay safe and be happy.
Wherever you find yourself, learn to be a better version of yourself. Everyone is watching you, the world is waiting for your story and whatever it is you have to do, do it with all your might. Still so busy to get an article compiled. I really miss here.
Really been having a stressful time out here. The hospital and the whole patient care is becoming so demanding. I hope you all are fine and doing well. I will be back soon.
Parenthood: What Is Needed From every Parent!!! The other day I was sitting with my little cousin Jasmine, she is just five years old. Jasmine has a doll and I was listening to how she interacted with the doll. I was so filled with emotions, you need to see how she was careful in handling her, feeding her and even when she was playing with her. I requested for her to give me her doll, she made me promise her, I was going to take good care of her. I had no other choice but to do her bidding. It was really a beautiful event to behold. After some minutes, she came back to check if her doll was asleep, of course I pretended like she was. So I had a little conversation with her, I had to enquire why she was so caring and how come she is showing such great level of responsibility. She just smiled and looked at me "my mum and dad, taught me". I was surprised at first but wondered why they should lay such a great responsibility on her. I questioned her parents and I was shocked to know, they never taught her directly. She watches their every move and her she is replicating their every actions. This is to show us that parents are the mirror from which their children gets their reflection. Have you ever wondered why children from broken homes are mostly aggressive and arrogant? It's because that's all they could get from their parents. They feel that's all they could give and most times it's very difficult to correct them with such mentality. A child raised in a loving and caring home will have a lesser tendency of becoming arrogant because such child has been pampered and showered with love which makes it difficult for them to become aggressive. Parents are meant to show their children the right path to follow. This doesn't necessarily means you need to force them or tricked them into doing things. You are meant to explain to them, see reasons with them and also help them decide what they really want. This is usually the case with teenagers. Most of them believe their choice is the right one, rather than condemn and make them feel bad about themselves. You could always share reasons why they need to refrain or rethink their choices. If a parent fails in this aspect, then expect a lot of faults from the child. Parenthood is the bedrock of a child's discipline and religious life. If both parents take a lackadaisical attitude towards religion or are always less concerned about it. There is no two ways about it, the child who's watching what the mom and dad does might easily be influenced. I still remember my little cousin, praying every time she wants to eat. How come about it? It was because she saw her parents do the same. Parents are always expected to put on the right character and behavior for their child. **Bottom line** Our child is a reflection of who we are and for this reason, we always need to put up the right attitude. Train them in the right way and you will never be ashamed of them. Nothing is as interesting as having good children. ***Lead image: unsplash.com***

Take That Bold Step Today, Say No To Procrastination Have you ever planned on achieving a goal but ends up shifting it or failing to meet up with your goal? What really happened? It's the usual. I will do it later in the day and then we keep on shifting it till it becomes unachievable. A lot of us are guilty of these, so talking about it shouldn't be something new or abstract. Before we proceed on our topic, I will first appreciate everyone who stood by me, throughout my first stay on this platform, it's been one amazing journey with everyone in it. **What is Procrastination?** In a layman's understanding, it is simply the act of postponing task from time to time backup with different excuses. It is often said people who procrastinate are never out of excuses, it is either you are tired, busy or just lack the inspiration of doing something. When we procratinate, a lot of things goes wrong right from our goals, interests and the overall influence on others. You don't want to be a bad influence on your friend would you? In past years, it has been seen as the stealer of time and if I am to contribute to such allegation, I will boldly say yes!. Imagine all that you could have accomplished, if you didn't have to consider yourself with so much time. Yes! That's always the excuse, there is still time and you will have to keep piling up responsibilities waiting for the said time. **What Happens When We Procrastinate?** Studies has shown, people who procrastinate are often not taken serious. They look like a joker meanwhile they could really be serious minded people. If you Procrastinate often, you are bound to be seen as an unserious person. Let's assume, Mr. A and Mr. B are friends and both have the same goal of posting articles here everyday. Mr. A is able to achieve this while Mr. B isn't because he keeps on postponing it from time to time, hoping one day he will achieve all of his goals. That's one trick with people who procrastinate, they often believe they will just get up and achieve everything within a twinkle of an eye, forgetting everything follows a pattern. No matter his excuse, no one will take him serious as everyone believes he is an unserious person. If you Procrastinate a lot, you are bound to be depressed, why did I say this? Mr. B looking at all that Mr. A was able to achieve and also the way people treats him, could make him depressed, furthermore reducing his productivity. You will agree with me, that when your thoughts are in place, your goals are achievable. Procrastination leads to low performance and therefore low output; how would you explain to someone how you were able to do nothing but achieve a lot. It's either you are lying to us or you did something creepy. The old saying "no food for lazy man, holds true and it's often in association with people who procrastinate. You can't keep shifting goals and objectives and expect a better yield. When we procratinate, we delay our goals and also our output. **How Can We Do Away With Procrastination?** After a thorough evaluation on myself, I came up with a list of steps which I had used to overcome Procrastination. Like the saying goes, "*if you haven't used it, don't recommend it to others" .* it simply means, if you haven't tried on anything, be it drug, food, idea or anything, it is wrong for you to recommend it to others. So after sitting to list out a lot of goals which I could have achieved but I wasn't due to procrastination, I have decided to share a few of them and how I was able to become a lady of my word. Firstly, you need to admit that you are a procrastinator. Of course, that's the first step, you can't fight what you are not. When you are able to accept your fate, it's very easy for you to get off this bad habit of procrastination. Some of the ways to check if you are a procrastinator include, self examination; have I been consistent with my words? How often do I set goals and achieve them? What are those things that delays my productivity? Answering all these questions will guide you in knowing if you are a procrastinator or just too lazy to achieve anything. The next step is to re-evaluate your goals: Yes! It's often said that when the goals are overwhelming, we are bound to get scared and often time try to run away from it or even push it further into the future. This is clearly what happens, you setting goals that are way to big to achieve will always result in you being oppressed or bullied by it. You have to take your goals bit by bit. Let's say, you have in mind of posting everyday and also engaging in more than 100 articles, you don't have to rush over it. Set a particular time for it, work towards the set time. Let's say, you are able to post an article and also engage in 20 articles for day 1, do the same for day 2 but increase your target maybe to 50, until you are able to engage in 100 articles without stress. All you need is time, adjustment and devotion. The last step which really worked for me was appreciation: yes! Hug yourself when you've achieved a set goal, take yourself out and give yourself the best treat you could ever imagine. You are human and trust me, everyone deserves an accolade for every miles or goals accomplished. Setting up goals and attaching rewards to it will really boost you up. Don't forget, you are more than what you could imagine, all you needed is the right mind, right choice and also the right appreciation. **Bottom line** Everyone procrastinates at a certain point in their life, it's okay to procratinate but it becomes wrong when you make it an habit. Remember, it reduces productivity, leads to depression and makes others think less of you. Fight depression with the right technique and watch your productivity rate increase. Do have a blessed time fighting off this evil that has deterred many from achieving their set goals. ***Lead image:unsplash.com***

Hurray!!!! If Rusty Is Back, There Is A Brighter Future For Bitcoin Cash It's no longer news that we all left when our friend told us he wasn't going to continue with his work. A lot of people were sad, some thank their stars for making a fortune out of his stay while the faithful ones kept hanging around waiting for him to return. It was really a tough one because the motivation wasn't there. Even when a whole lot of people claimed it was only for the passion of writing they posted. The absence of rusty really showed us that even the wealthiest of us, also needed a pat in the back. No wonder my grandma will always tell us "weldone, you did so well" even when it was the least job we did. Why am I saying this? The return of rusty will bring back a whole lot of people who will be back to share their ideas in exchange for tips. This long chain of sharing and recieving will add to the increase in the amount of BCH in circulation. I bet you! Most people here sold out theirs just to make ends meet. I won't blame anyone because times are really hard, a lot of bad things really going on in the world. The other day, I heard of the flooded streets of Brazil, the earthquake in India and even the terrorist attacks going on everyday. Challenges like this could make one sell out his bch just to make ends meet and may find it difficult to replace it. Now that rusty is back, everyone will be busy storing their cryptocurrency again. This is a modern form of "saving for the rainy day". This was just a way of me, saying I am happy, I will be saving lots of bitcoin cash this time around. Not for my personal use but for future purposes. If the developers found it worthy to bring back rusty, it shows there is a brighter future for bitcoin cash. It's so good to be home, welcome my cute friend @TheRandomRewarder ***Lead image source: unsplash.com***
A Christmas Without The Random Rewarder Goodbye is a word that carries a lot of emotion. It can be the hardest thing to say in some situations. Let's assume this instance now, no one in this community would tell me, they don't know who @TheRandomRewarder is. Since I got the message it has left me feeling a mixture of sadness, regret, and relief. I had always dreamt of celebrating my Christmas with rusty. Saying goodbye is never easy and it can bring up a range of emotions. We may feel like we are saying goodbye for the last time or that we may never see the person or place again. I am beginning to wonder if I will always be around anymore. Will this community still exist or will we all pack our bags and baggage and zoom off. I know saying goodbye to rusty is the hardest thing to do right now but it is something that must be done eventually. While growing up, When saying goodbye to a loved one, it was always important to take the time to say something meaningful. It may be hard to find the right words but something like “I will always remember you” or “You will never be forgotten” can be a nice sentiment. Taking the time to acknowledge the feelings and memories associated with the goodbye can make the process easier. Rusty, you have been more of a cheerleader than just a random rewarder, giving me the thumbs up when I felt I wasn't good enough, I am still wondering if I will ever encounter you again. Why am I having this feeling that I am losing you forever, that I will never have all the fun we used to anymore. No wonder, Chadowa sang, saying goodbye can be especially hard for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. I won't deny the fact that I will always miss you but one thing I need to understand is the importance of moving on. I believe your creators have better plans for you. At some point I felt you were more of a human than an artificial intelligence. I am not just saying goodbye to Rusty but also to my job here. Who knows, tomorrow we might not have access to this community anymore and it hurts so much. So I am taking my time to celebrate all my accomplishments. Saying goodbye in this way can help to make the experience more positive. Though this is a situation beyond our control, saying goodbye is never easy. It is important to take the time to acknowledge the emotions that come with the goodbye and to remember that it is a natural part of life. So, saying goodbye can be hard to say, but it is a necessary part of life. I really want to appreciate the brains behind this project, it has elevated a lot of people from poverty and has provided a part time job to many. We pray for more of such projects in 2023. Do have a beautiful Christmas celebration.

Why Bring Them To The World To Suffer? It is often said that children are the pride of existence. It is what makes every home complete and makes the bond between couples more stronger. I just learnt that in some cultures couples without children are often ridiculed and at times alienated from other folks. That is to show how priceless children are. That explains the popular saying, children are blessings from the creator and so must be taken good care of, so they bring you good fortunes. This particular part of the saying has been abused by a lot of people, permit me to call them careless parents. How do you explain a situation where both couple aren't fit to marry because of their genotypes but still go against the doctor's counselling and went ahead to marry and even make babies. What did you expect from such reproductive mode, heathy kids when both parents are '**AS'** of course you shouldn't expect such. In most case scenarios you will hear them tell you, "**doctor don't worry, our faith will change things for us"** are you for real you are this heartless, you don't care about how your children will fare? For you, you are in love and that's all that matters right now. Without thinking of the number of times your child wakes up in the middle of the night to cry or when he/she is having crisis. That doesn't freak you how when you will see your four years old male child having priapism (painful, sustained erection) for hours and he is crying? Or they number of times they go down with an infection because they are not able to fight microbes due to their compromised immune system. I was in tears when a little girl who had sickle cell disease called me and asked me a question that left me dumbfounded for minutes. She asked me "**doctor, do people feel pains when they die?** I shook my head in disapproval. She then drop the question "**when will I die, this pain is too much".** I stood for minutes trying to figure out what to tell her. That is a scenerio that could have been avoided years ago but her parents were blinded by love. Another instance, is giving birth to a large number of kids that you could barely carter for. Can I ask a question, "**what was your intention?"** I know you like children but why don't you go for the number you can comfortably take care of. Nothing beats a happy and satisfying family than a large one where everyone struggles on their own to be fine. The cases of malnutrition, increased crime rates and other social vices stems from families that can't carter for their children most times. Don't go for number but go for the one you can make life comfortable for them rather than sending them to relatives to stay with because you can't feed or provide for them. Lastly, there is an increase in drug abuse among children and teenagers. How? I have seen cases where parents administer drugs wrongly to their wards because they are scared of the hospital bills and it makes me wonder why. Your child is having fever and the first thing that comes to mind is administration of Non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs like Acetylsalicylic acid. Without prior knowledge of the effect of the drug will only get you into a bigger expenses because your ward could come down with Reyes fever which is even a more serious case. I know most people are so comfortable with administration of Acetaminophen but trust me, they are children that it could cause liver toxicity if wrongly used. That is the reason you always need to take your ward to the hospital whenever they are sick. Children were meant to be treasured, please don't bring them to the world to suffer or go through pains. It will be painful to see/hear your child wish they could just die. Don't allow love, cultural influence or fear of spending a lot of money makes you endanger your child. They deserve al the beautiful things life could ever think of offering and these you should always remind them of. Do take care of those little jewel the creator gave to you, say no to child abuse.

Helping Someone Isn't Mandatory But Optional Many times I have heard people complain about a particular relative not assisting them or someone they know not helping them when they needed their help. It makes me wonder when it became an entitlement to be helped. I still remember the times I was in a difficult situation and I needed help, though I had relatives and friends to turn to for assistance but I took it upon myself to figure everything out. I don't know about others but I find it satisfying whenever I accomplish anything by myself without the help of others. There is this special type of feeling you get, each time you are reminded you did it all by yourself without the help of others. I once had a Sunday school teacher who taught us, "**Asking for help isn't weakness but depending on it is".** Most people have developed this behaviour of depending on others without even trying it out by themselves. Some such disastrous behaviour has become a habit which no one can correct anymore and that's the reason for some of this feeling of entitlement and rants we hear from people. *My uncle is the prime minister in my country but he has never sent me a dime before.* I do ask myself why such a remark, before your uncle became the prime minister, really supported him. Do you care to ask yourself such a question or are you just busy getting angry over nothing. If he was supported by others, the way you are so relaxed, maybe he would not have become the prime minister or even someone you could look up to for help. Sometimes it is okay to try it out your own way before seeking for help, you may not get it right the first time but it is always nice if you could try it over and over again. I do tell myself I will only raise my hands when the situation is way above me. I still remember while in university how tough things were. I had rich relatives and friends but I chose to figure things out by myself. You can imagine the satisfaction you get when you know you are the one who made it all by yourself even when you are surrounded by a lot of helpers. Trying it out by yourself doesn't necessarily mean you are weak or stubborn but it shows how disciplined you are. All things are possible if only you use the right step and right approach. Depending always on others for help might hide your special ability and limit your progress. You can only achieve all that you want, if you allow yourself make the choices, take the risk and bear the consequences of your actions without crying out for help. It is never wrong to ask for help but you just have to show the world you tried. The bravest amongst us aren't the ones who failed and seek help but those who tried and never relied on others for help until they became victorious. Being helped shouldn't be taken as a privilege but as an option and as an option shouldn't be used every time. Take up the challenge today and work hard towards becoming the person you have always wanted to be. ***Lead image : unsplash.com***

The Dangers Of Modern Technology Outweighs Its Benefits Have you ever sat down to imagine a life without social media, how difficult communication will be among ourselves. The time you travel just to confirm a news or even go just to exchange pleasantries will be so annoying but then imagine the beauty of your cellphone, you are in your convenient and being connected to everyone all over the world. In every good thing there is a price to pay and one of it is being distracted. Research all over the world has shown a large number of people who complained of not being able to concentrate because of their constant being on their phones. These has lead to waste of valuable time and considering the fact that a lot of persons are now putting in more energy on their online world than trying to make new friends in the real world. No doubt, a lot of people have admitted to trying to avoid problems, insult and also maintain their lane in the process but it's a thing of concern seeing the younger generation fight over their chargers, subscription plans and even hotspots without being worried about what happens to them in the real world. It's no news that most times our advancement in technology has made us victims of circumstances, I could still recount the number of laboratory viruses and diseases which have been developed in the laboratory, all in the name of exploring medicine. Or do you want to talk about the nuclear energy which has been harnessed and used as a tool of intimidation in one country over the other? Truly technology has been a blessing but if we look at our world before the advancement in technology, you will get to appreciate it better. Moments, where we were not bothered about a plane crash neither did it come to mind how to fight off some addictions technology has labelled on us. Young people are now being immersed in pornography. The era of going to meet with friends is over as we could connect with anyone within a snap of the finger. I know you are about to call this a relief but when the relief is at the expense of our lives, what do we have to say? Have you ever considered the dangers of staying in a particular spot all day routinely? That's what technology has done to us, the use of television, playing of video games has made a lot of young people to become obese and increasing the number of people prone to having diabetes mellitus. Obesity and diabetes are the major challenges our world is facing now. The list will be continued but I have to go as I have a surgery to assist today, I hope you all have a wonderful day and stay safe out there knowing fully well we are incharge of our mental health and so therefore needs to give it our maximum best. Do have a blessed week ahead.

The Most Beautiful Creation In Our Planet, We Are Too Shy To Look At My little niece asked me the other day, why it was so difficult to look at the sun and all I could respond was because it was too beautiful. I know a lot of people have different reasons why they can't stare at the sun but the truth still remains. The sun has been the most beautiful thing on our planet that we are too shy to look at. That's to show how lovely it is. Talking about the beauty of the sun, I could still cast my mind back on the sunflower, how lovely it is, with its shiny petals. Most people hate the sun claiming it is too hot and causes sunburn. Yes! I do experience it too, that is why I go around with my sunshade and sun cream, which helps to prevent my skin from being badly hurt by the most beautiful creature on earth. Without the sun life will not be as comfortable as it is and there will be a shortage of food supply. Imagine staying for a month without the rays of the sunlight on your skin, how do you think life will be? It will be so difficult as everywhere will be so cold and food supply will be limited. In countries where they harness the energy from the sun to generate electricity, it will not be an easy task for them to light up their streets and houses and we could imagine what will happen to our friends who stay in such countries. The beauty of the sun is seen in pictures, have you ever snapped when the sun's still shining? How beautiful to see how detailed your picture will be. That is how beautiful the sun is. It has also been a natural option to control floods by heating on the surface and making the water evaporate. A beauty you need to dazzle on. The beauty of the sun is seen when it is used to dry clothes. I have seen in movies where people hang their clothes in open spaces just for it to get dried. This has helped in reducing the dangers associated with it. Think of how life could have been if we had to go about with wet clothes. All these were made possible by the beauty of the sun. Radiating its beauty and showcasing its unending smile to us here on earth. I had a busy day at work today, what was your day like?

I Am So Happy, I Have Gotten A New Job Hello my beautiful family, I am so pleased to be here after weeks of being inactive. If you all could still remember I had posted about an ordeal I had with my previous employers due to what the company tagged as **'being too kind'** it wasn't a nice experience to begin with but in all things we still give glory to our creator. I know a lot of my readers are so eager to know how it all happened. It was last week when I got a call from a friend whom we graduated from the medical school together with. I had shared my ordeal in our alumni page and everyone had pledged to secure me a good job. Like you all know, I am a certified cardiologist and the road to becoming certified wasn't an easy one. I still remember the nights I had to go to bed hungry, lie on cold floor just to wake to study at night. Luckily for me, I was diagnosed of pneumonia in my 3rd year in medical school. That was just a recap of what life had thrown at me. Through the years I have come to realised no matter what life chose to throw at you, you just have two options, either to knock it off and try again or to give up and never try again. I just the former and it has been working out for me. The call I got last week wasn't an invitation for a job interview but it was a test of my experience and showmanship when it comes to my medical practice. I never knew she was in a board meeting where there were having a debate on how to handle a patient with mitral stenosis who was also hypertensive. When the call came in, I was busy with my house chores so I didn't get to see my phone ring the first time. She called back and we spoke at length, she never gave me a clue that our call was being heard by members of the board, she asked the question of how I would manage a patient that was hypertensive and mitral stenosis. Which I explained it to her carefully and with so much skill. Then I heard a voice from the other end of the phone asking me "would you be able to participate in the surgery?" I couldn't believe my ears, so I asked for a repetition which I still got the same questio again. At that moment, everywhere became so quiet and everyone was waiting to hear what I will say. I said "yes" . The CMD of the hospital had to continue the conversation with me. He invited me for an interview and today I am working in the hospital as a surgeon. Less I forgot, we carried out the surgery and it was a success. I smiled at my friend and she smiled back, it is good to have people that care about you. I know the story might not be so captivating but they are a lot of lessons to be drawn from it. Firstly, you need to be always prepared for any question or situation that comes your way. Imagine, the embarrassment I would have cause to my friend and myself if I wasn't able to defend myself when such a question was thrown at me. That's why I do tel students to always read like everyday is an examination and everyone is their examiner. They are moments, you need to prove to the world you actually understood what you have been studying all these while and how well do you prove that, is up to you. Secondly, you have to be serious with whatever your hand finds to do or even when you are asked a question. Know when to joke with your friends and also when to be serious with them. You should not be be too playful or look unserious because if you are, opportunities will always pass you by. Nobody wants to introduce or give position to someone who is never serious. Thirdly, don't be ashame to discuss your predicament with your friends. Though at times it's unwise to do it but at the same time, it could be your stepping stone to greatness. I would strongly agree you should be watchful of those you share your problems with because most times, sharing it with the wrong people may tend to increase the issue rather than offer a solution to it. Whatever you are going through you always need the right people to lend out a helping hand. Be sure to find that one good person out there. Lastly, there is a solution to every problem and to every challenge there is an end point. You don't have to carry the burden all alone, share it with friends you could trust and know quiet well there are willing to attend to you without sharing or making a caricature of your present worries. I do hope you have a great time finding your way around life, knowing fully well though the storms will rage, it can only gets better, don't give up the chase, the struggle and the moments of trials, you are a victor. I missed you all including our best friend @TheRandomRewarder .
A Note To My Younger Self Dear self, it is with great joy filled with experience that I am writing this note to you. Life over here is so challenging that sometimes I just want to break down and cry the whole day. Before I begin to bore you with my unnecessary rants and advice you will never apply. I just want to seize this opportunity to appreciate all you did for me. It was your tireless effort that brought me this far. I still remember the days I had to go to bed hungry so I could wake to study, it was one of the interesting techniques I had to employ just to get this far. Do you still remember all the guys we crushed on when we were young. I know you must have forgotten a lot of them, let me remind you about some of them. They was this guy that was transferred from another school to ours. All the girls got their eyes on him because he was handsome, tall and fluent with the English language. I had no chance to talk to him because I was a bit shy and felt uneasy around guys. Everytime I summoned up courage to do so I was always discouraged by his looks, his friends generally and the thought of being turned down by him. I had crushes but he was unique to me. Let's not talk about our crushes, let's focus on what we had always wanted to achieve which became possible as we age. Do you still remember those beautiful moment i visited the airport and when I saw the beautifully dressed Air hostess. I ran home to tell mom, I wanted to become an air hostess, it was such a funny moment when I sit to recall such moments. Before this time I had planned on becoming an engineer so I could repair and build roads, bridges and construct dams. I think what was wrong with me was being fluid and that really affected my choice of decisions back then. I later settled to become a doctor when I realised how important it was to save lives. I just want to thank you for the sacrifices you made to make this a reality even in days I was tired and discouraged. That wasn't the main reason I chose to write you this note, I just wanted to tell you it isn't easy living the life I had in mind. We had a lot of bad days, a lot of challenges and even set backs. At some point in life I had wanted to throw in the towel and walk away but our past story of how we achieved great things, I could not give up. I really want to appreciate you for the woman you built out of me and I want to promise you that I will always represent you well. I am still menstruating and it is still painful though I am getting used to it by now. I still crave some chocolates during their period but I know how silly it is to take sugary things during such period. I also fell in love, made few mistakes but I still bounced out with few scars to show. I have been heartbroken, abused and taken for granted several times but I had to wade it off like nothing happened. I still remember those words from grandma **' hard times chases us but experience shapes us'.** Thank you for never giving up on your dreams. My final words are just promises I made since I was five, regardless of what life throws at me, made me felt bad about. I still promise to make it up to you, I will keep on doing all that will make you proud. You laid the foundation block, all I have to do right now is continue building from where you stopped. I love you so much dear self. ***lead image : unsplash.com***
Confidence: All We Need To Survive A beautiful weekend to everyone out there. How has your week been? Mine has been a pleasant one. Today, I will quickly share a story with everyone. They lived a poor boy who had no parent. He didn't grew up to see them, not because they did but due to the fact the ran and left him while he was still a kid. He grew up under the care of an old lady. His friends laughed at him because he had no shoe to wear to school and his books where old and rough. Every morning the old lady will walk him to school while his other friends stand to watch with silly faces. One unique feature about him was resilience even the midst of all these challenges. He never saw himself like a failure and always competed with the best. One day, they had an outing which there were to meet with the President of the country. Everyone wore their best wears but he had nothing but just his tattered clothes and old boot. When he arrived they all Jared and laugh at him. He was demoralised but he wasn't ready to yield to their tantrum. When they met with the president everyone was shocked to see him walk boldly to the front, regardless of how tattered he was. He stretched out his hands and shook hands with the president. Everyone was shocked but then a lesson was learnt, no matter who you are and what you look like. It is your confidence that will catapult you to great heights. So many people are worried about what others think and say about them. Forgetting it is just an opinion and not real fact. Be gentle on yourself today, speak positivity and watch your life change for good. Without confidence it is impossible to make strides on the earth. Have you ever thought of why they said, you become what you think off. Who you said and act are two different thing. Whom do you say you are? How do you act like? A lion will never bark like a dog neither will a dog roar like a lion. We are all we said we are but it takes confidence to really prove to the world how unique we are. @TheRandomRewarder ***Lead*** ***image***: ***unsplash.com***
When The Doctor Can't Help Anymore Madam, we are sorry there is nothing we can do right now. This is way to beyond our medical expertise and knowledge when it comes to treating cases like this, the doctor said with this air of disappointment written all over his face. She knew what had come upon her even when he didn't mentioned it to her. She walked out of the hospital dejected, scared and out of hope. Who would have thought the place were we come for treatment could be a place were we get the worst news of our life. I know everyone is wondering what could have made the doctor made such pronouncement but it is quite easy to come up with it. Different people visit the hospital when they are sick at different stages. There are the ones who come immediately the feel symptoms that are unusual. The other set visit the hospital when they have tried all possible means but it all proves abortive, so they present to the hospital reluctantly and in most cases, the disease has progressed in it's stage. The last group come to the hospital with the help of their relatives, maybe when they have gone into coma or couldn't move anymore due to severity of the case. ***Which category do you fall in?*** It is unwise for an individual who is sick to present to the facility when the disease is severe when such an individual could have done that at the early stage. Being ignorant of the effect or what that could cause to them is what I am here to discuss with you all. Let's assume a woman with a lump in her breast if presented to the hospital at the early stage could be treated with less stress than the own who comes when the lump has developed into a full blown cancer and has metastasis into other part of her body like the bones, axillary lump nodes and the liver. In such cases, it is difficult to prove you are a master of your field because you will be dealing with a stage 4 cancer which could affect even her nerves and in such occurrence leads to the loss of function of such nerve involved. Everyone has their reason of not presenting to the hospital on time. It could be of religious reasons; does this sound odd to you? I have seen cases where a lady was stopped by her religious leader from seeking medical attention because to him it is a way of belittling the healing power of God. This makes me wonder when did the Bible kick against going to the hospital for medical attention. It could be a reason based on past experienced of losing a loved one in the hospital. That fear could hinder them from presenting to the hospital on time because they feel, such incidence could also befall them. Another could be financial restraints which could prevent an individual from seeking medical attention on time. All these are excuses people give but then it is not enough reason to endanger your life because of one reason or the other. The major aim of going to the hospital should be to get medical help and not to be told of such news found in the opening of my post. Presenting yourself to the hospital when you begin to feel symptoms is a sure remedy of having yourself cured completely. Remember when you delay to present yourself at the hospital, you will feel more pains and your health keeps on deteriorating. This is not what you want for yourself, your main aim was to get well soon and go about your duties and not to be told of the number of days or months you have to live before you finally die. You can make the doctor help you by presenting yourself early to the hospital, taking all your drugs accordingly and at the right dose. You are in charge of your life here on earth, live it to the fullest. Don't allow any disease hinder you from seeking medical attention. I have heard stories of people who committed suicide because the got infected with HIV/AIDS. Though technology is still revolving and a lot of drugs are still under investigation for the permanent cure of AIDS. You should not be shy to seek medical attention as the disease could be properly managed. I urge you all to encourage the sick, either through advice, financial help or otherwise for them to visit the hospital on time to avoid conditions beyond repairs. Have a wonderful day and stay positive.

My Memories Of The Season Of The Falling Leaves Though it began last month but since I wasn't around to share my own experience of the month, I had to take it up today. When I was still a teenager, grandma used to tell us stories about how the fairies came out during autumn just to make love on trees. As a kid I took everything hook, line and sinker but currently will just laugh from the beginning of the story to the end. Autumn is a season which comes before Winter, often called the **'the warm winter'** . The only features that most of us could really picture about autumn is the falling of leaves. It occurs so often during the autumn and this gives it the name ***'the season of the falling leaves' .*** I remember as a kid how we will play under the trees, running left, right, centre just to make sure we catch all the falling leaves. It was always an interesting game but something happened one day. I bumped into a tree while in the process of catching a leaf, it was so painful but I had no choice than to bear it. They was this other game called the leaf house. The activities involved was to use all the fallen leaves to create a house which will all go in. Anyone who was found outside the house will be flogged by the moving player. It was always interesting but nobody ever wanted to be the scapegoat. Then we will run to the rice field just to scare the birds away. This time it wasn't intentional but we only wanted to participate in the fall festival. Then we could run home with a pumpkin. Who wouldn't want to create a funny looking face on a pumpkin? Of course we all did enjoy it and the scariest face gets rewarded by everyone. The nights were lighted with pumpkin scented candles and I will slip into my blanket and enjoy the night, either reading a novel about autumn or just watching a scary movie. We had a lot of activities to participate in during the autumn which were always fun and one of them which I could still remember vividly was participation in donating items at the gift bank. There is this special place behind our cathedral were the needy do gather and everyone who has a few to spare goes there to gift them items. It is always a thing of joy to know how happy and fulfilled they were whenever they received those items from us. Autumn still remains my best season of the year because of all it's amazing activities, I almost forgot the apple picking we do. I and my friends will move around the neighbourhood gathering apples and making sure we had enough. When we are done picking them, we will sit to make apple caramel from it. It was always an interesting activity as both the young and old will participate. **This Year Beginning of Autumn** It was the coldest one I have ever seen, maybe due to the challenges surrounding me right now, I just hope I will snap out of this fast enough and get back my life on track. I miss all the memories of my childhood, those innocent moments we ran around trees gathering leaves and making tree houses. The pumpkin carvings and the Halloween costumes we made. Life wasn't this stressful when we were younger. To my beautiful readers out there, what childhood memory of Autumn can you still recall? **Lead image: unsplash.com**

There Is No Friendship Without A Rift *Show me a relationship without misunderstanding and I will gladly point to you two individuals who are receiving themselves - Dr. Wrinkle* Does the above quote sounds strange to you? If it does pardon me but it is true. Friendship isn't a one day thing or a special occasion where we all dress in our best attire just to be applauded by the guests. It is a long term agreement where anger, jealousy, chaos and other hurtful behaviours also strives. This is just the downside of friendship which most people hide it religiously from others. I could count the number of times I and my best friend disagreed over something, we even shouted at each other calling ourselves hurtful names. We were both hurt but who was ready to take the first step to apologize was the big deal. I did and sometimes she does too, that shows how much we value our relationship above the chaos that is bound to occur. I still remember the day, we quarreled and she got herself into trouble. We had to lay aside our differences and fix everything together. Nobody dares hurt my best friend without passing through me and that is just one unique character in our friendship. **How Fast You Get Back On Track With Your Friend Matters A Lot!** Humans have different mindsets, way of life and how they react to things. It is similar to the way our body reacts naturally to different food. I may not be pissed when my friend takes my phone without my permission but she could get angry whenever I does that to hers. Having such vital information could help settle a lot of rift between friends. For example, if you are aware she gets angry whenever you touch her mobile without her consent, you could either seek your friend's permission before touching her phone or you just avoid it to prevent unnecessary drama. If there is a fight between friends, find a way to solve it before it gets more messier. You don't have to always claim being the victim or the one who was wrongly treated. Friendships should not be based on such principle of who pulled the trigger should apologize first. No! Any of you could apologise without feeling cheated. That is what makes friendship blooms, how fast we apologize creates this beautiful impression in the heart of our friends of how valuable, loved and special there are to us. So many people think apologizing when you are not wrong shows weakness but to me, it is a sign of maturity and how much you value the relationship. You should not be clouded by the thought of he/she was wrong so they have to apologize but do so if you value your relationship. **Can Two People Go Together Without Any Disagreement?** If I were to throw that question at everyone, most people will boldly say "*yes"* but deep down we know it is a big lie. It is not possible to live for years with a friend without any disagreement. Even the sweetest love story has a break, that is just human for you. An amazing feature nobody can change or explain. No matter how blissful the relationship is one day they could always be a disagreement. How fast you get back on track is what explains how much you both valued the relationship. I once told someone " I am not scared of having a fight with my friend but I am only scared when such a fight isn't resolved for a long time. If you value someone you will be scared to lose them. Have this at the back of your mind that there is not relationship that goes for years without a slight misunderstanding unless both parties were not sincere to each other. Don't be envious of those shiny relationship you see online, in social gatherings or the public it could be mere formality just to cover up for a broken relationship in their closet. *Do have a beautiful day and never stop to stay hydrated. Remember, drinking water calms the nerves, clears the body of bacteria and refreshes the brain.* **Lead image:unsplash.com**

Everything We Have Is Just Luck, Life Is Never Fair. A lot is happening in our world today and it has thrown a lot of people into confusion. The big question in everyone's mind is, why am I so unlucky while my friend who doesn't work this hard is earning more than me? Why is life so cruel to me? No matter how satisfied we are, this thought or question has gone through our minds. How do you think life should have treated you? Nobody deserves the ill treatment or better treatment they got. Could it be it was so irrational sharing or was it just programmed to be so. I could not place my mind why I am fair skinned and she is dark skinned. Why am I short and she is taller? It seems things were not distributed the right way and that gives us a more reason to think life was never fair. ***How do you explain to a woman whose husband was shot dead in the battlefield, when yours came back alive?*** Sitting down at the park I saw a group of families playing and my mind flashed back to those without a father or a mother or some who lost both. I could see the pains hidden behind the smile of a lady whom the doctor said she had just 3 more months to live. Though she is smiling, her smile is just fake. She could hide her pains from all her friends but the only person she can't hide it from is herself. A preacher once said, **if you want the best of life, don't expect anything from it.** I know this sounds silly but it is so true. Those who get the best of life are the ones who never wished for anything. All they ever wanted was just to live life and be happy and it worked out for them. Then there is another who only wants the flashy things and expensive kind of lifestyle but never gets it. To the person life is unfair but to life itself, it is just doing it's best. Another proverb I am still yet to understand is, **"you reap what you sow"** Does this statement hold true? If it does, which set of people does it relate to because right now, a lot of people are at the verge of losing their sanity all in the name of planting Corn only to reap grapes. You are in for something good but it turns out to be the worst you will get. Life has become a tale of survival of the fittest, an evolutionary theory postulated by Charles Darwin. You don't get what you want but what you are able to struggle for. No wonder Grandma once told me, **"Every man is in charge of his own happiness."** All you need to do is to find out what makes you happy and continue to do them. Like Darwin said, the brave ones will always survive while the weak ones will always die out. That is how life was programmed to be, no one can and no one will. All we could do is just to protest in our heart, **"Can life be ever fair?"** We are tired of celebrating others' victories and yet we have none to boast of. Even when we know we deserve the best and we try our best. At least life should be slightly fair so we could get the reward we truly deserve. This is coming from a concerned heart. To everyone going through a phase in life that is painful, sorrowful and intimidating I plead with you to go through it knowing one day, it will pass away. Do have a beautiful time out there! Stay safe and be positive always. ****Lead image: Unsplash.com****
A September Never To Be Remembered Hello beautiful people, good morning to you all. Its quite a long time since I was here. A lot of users have forgotten all about me which is still cool with me. A lot has been going on ever since I left my beautiful friends here and I am so eager to share it all with you. **Why A September Never To Be Remembered?** Everyone has memories they are scared of remembering, if not all but few of us are in that category. Why I used that caption is because of the series of issues I have encountered during the month of September. Here are a list of them; **I Was Suspended From Work** I shared a story about a lady whom I stood in as a guarantor for her while she was sick. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A case if not properly managed could lead to the death of the patient. She was sobbing by the entrance to the hospital which drew great attention to her. Most of my colleagues contributed money which wasn't enough for her surgery. Seeing how helpless and disorganised she was I offered to be her guarantor, knowing fully well the implication of my act. Who cares, all I wanted was to see an healthy young lady continue with her life after some weeks of lying on the hospital bed. She promised she would pay the money within the specify duration which is usually 6 months. She dropped her phone number and other vital information which I later found out were not correct. Fast forward to the end of the 6 months, she was no where to be found and all forms of reaching out to her was futile. I knew I was in for a big trouble. At last, my kindness was already pulling me into the mud. I got a call from the hospital council to appear before them. I obeyed and I was served the punishment I duly deserved for being a nice person. I was suspended from the hospital and relieved of all my duties. My responsibility of saving lives was forcefuly taken away from me because I had wanted going extra miles just to save one life. I walked out of the hospital demoralized and vowed never to help anyone. Losing my precious work forced me into depression, I knew what suspension means to an health practitioner. Another thing that happened during that period was the loss of my grandfather. He was the closest person to me. Aside my boyfriend, I do tell him some of the stuffs bugging me. Grandpa died on the 15th of September after a brief illness. All the while he was sick, I was always beside his bed, I think I became strong knowing I still had a patient to take care off. September became a month I hated and never wanted anyone to mention it to me. Just like the famous saying **"we grow from our mistakes, struggles, challenges and hurdles"** I have learnt to agree with it. It was painful when it first happened but recently I am able to look back at my mistake in the hospital, shake my head and promise myself never to happen again. As for my beloved grandpa I hope he is in heaven having a great time with his creator, where he will never be sick or die again. I just hope things will fall back in place and I will be called to resume work again. **Maybe saving lives doesn't necessarily mean sticking out your head for others. It meant doing the best you can in your own little way without having to inconvenience yourself for the sake of others.** Do have a lovely weekend, which of you missed me because I missed all of you. Hi @TheRandomRewarder I am back.

The Horrors Of Having Children Hello to my wonderful virtual family, it is a pleasure to have a day off from work just to cool my head. I wish I was having the best moment of my life right now without my neighbor's children nagging loudly. At times when I look at them I begin to ponder if having children was worth it, how do you tend to explain to me, you would work for a long period of time only to come back and discover you are in for a long night with your ill mannered children. The Bible clearly explains to us, how children are the heritage of God and how much blessing they could bring to our life. I still agree with that fact but looking at Sarah and her children, I am forced to disagree. I know good parenting would have fixed all these behaviors but most times, you just need to have a good time for yourself without your kids interfering. Being lenient with your kids sometimes ruins their morals and they are stuck with becoming someone you may not like in future. What you need is the right steps to groom your children to become a better person which I will do in my future articles. Here are reasons you might end up with a puzzled mind as I had this morning, are children a blessing or a curse? **i) Kids Ruin Healthy Relationships Among Parents:** This might sound funny but it's the fact, lately have I noticed the greater number of men who cheat are the married ones, why? Those happy moments they had with their spouse are gone as more attention is given to the child without considering their relationship anymore. Some ladies go for days without considering how their husbands fare. It takes a man filled with self control not to cheat. That once happy home where you can literally wear anything, hug anywhere or even make out at any part of the house is restricted. **ii) Frustration:** A lot of kids lovers out there will not want to agree with me but it's the truth. Most times all that the parent put in place to make life easy and comfortable for the child could be squandered and used carelessly by the child. Do you agree with me? The Bible pointed out to us, about the story of the prodigal son, who collected his share of the property and travelled to a distant land just to waste it up and returned to the father. Though the father wasn't angry, I could tell a lot of the servants and relatives were. I have heard of a story about a certain guy whose father owned a large company and entrusted everything under his care. Anyone would have been happy to get such a gift from the dad but he wasn't. He sold the company the father built and maintained for him to manage while his dad was still on the sick bed. When the news got to the man, he died instantly from cardiac arrest. It is clearly seen, in some instances a child could be more of a curse to the parent but in other aspect a blessing. Have you ever thought of the frustrations in the hearts of parents whose children were caught stealing, taking hard drugs or even involved in illegal acts? **iii) Moving Out:** This is the most painful part of growing up. Every child will one day leave the parent and become a man. This is the hallmark of **adolescence.** Sometimes it is always a sad experience especially if that was the only child and the parents are not ready for it. **Conclusion** I am not trying to say having children is wrong because it is the most exciting feeling one could get. It is just an article for entertainment purposes and so I don't think it will be right if we put up a debate in the comment section. It is just my candid opinion and I do hope everyone sees it through my point of view. I haven't been visited for days now by @TheRandomRewarder I just hope all is well. Do have lovely weekend friends. Lead image: unsplash.com
Imitate The Diamond, Grow With The Pressure If I were to ask everyone here to choose between a diamond and a charcoal, I am sure everyone would choose a diamond. If I were to give an option to choose between a rich man and a poor man, I am sure everyone will want to choose the rich man. Why? The answer isn't far fetched, nobody wants to live a life of stress but everyone enjoys a good life. How do you intend to acquire this luxurious life you've always craved for if you are afraid of going through stress? I still remember how my friends were always dodging surgery classes, to them it was tough, scary and wasn't interesting. How would you make a good surgeon if you are scared of such classes? Pressure Is what gives diamond its beautiful appearance and when once you are not willing to go under necessary pressure. You may not get the desired goal you have always wanted. For real, nobody likes stress. Let's be realistic, diamond and charcoal are two forms of carbon but nobody wants anything to do with charcoal because of its low value. Same thing with humans if you are not valuable or yielding anything tangible, nobody will want to have anything to do with you. **How Do I Imitate The Diamond?** **Be Fearless:** Regardless of the heat and pressure diamond goes through, it remains stable without melting or vanishing so it could attain its finished beauty. When you go through life's stress rather than run away from it, face it squarely, what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. You are born for greatness. Don't run away from your fears but face them squarely. **Be Rigid:** Have you ever heard a story where the diamond while undergoing the heating process changed into a stone or any other gem! Of course not! Most of us, when we go through life hurdles we tend to be unstable, today you are a wailer, the next day you are just too moody. You are so confused and all you want is for everyone to notice your present condition. That is so wrong my dear, you need to be rigid and also know that all that you are going through is a step to greatness. **Be Consistent:** This is the greatest of it all, rather than be hot today and cold the next minute, why can't you be hot the whole time. There is always a prize for consistency and it is a guaranteed success. If you are consistent about a particular goal and work towards it, not minding the pressure, you are bound to success. **Conclusion** The diamond is a priceless gem because it was able to undergo pressure around it. What is your excuse for not becoming priceless? Go for what you want and have a memorable weekend.
My Experience As A Public Speaker I still remember the first day I was to give a public speech. It was the longest day of my life as I had wished it was over without me having to give my speech. It is called stage fright and it is one of the leading factors stopping great minds from achieving their goals. Imagine having to narrate your story of how you got to the zenith of your career, those are ideas that both the audience and the speaker could benefit from but since the person isn't able to overcome stage fright, such ideas are lost. One thing we need to know about stage fright is, it never goes away even great orators have this same issue. You would think Winnie Oprah doesn't have stage fright but she does. Everybody does but what differentiate them is their ability to remain calm. If you want to be a good public speaker you must be ready to overcome social anxiety, focus your mind on the goal and watch yourself deliver your speech perfectly. **Avoid making complaints when you want to deliver a speech**: You don't need to complain about the microphone, sound or whatever. It draws unnecessary attention to yourself and makes your audience lose interest in your speech as they are more concerned about what you just complained about. **Be relaxed:** Your composure matters a lot if you really want to capture your audience's attention. You cannot be fidgeting and expect them to listen to you. No matter how interesting your speech is if you are not relaxed, it might not be delivered with the right tone. Imagine a sympathiser who isn't relaxed while delivering a condolence message, might be happy to be funny, tense or angry. You need to be prepared, drink a lot of water, it allows your easy speech flow. **Don't Start With A Half Message:** I know this might sound strange to you because the whole idea of what a half message is confusing. Let's assume you are to give a speech on a topic **"ovarian cancer"** and you are beginning your speech with, 'cancer has killed more people than….' And then you jump into a different thing entirely. That is a clear beginning of a boring speech and your audience might not pay attention anymore. You need to avoid giving your audience the impression you are not prepared or having a great challenge with holding a great speech. **Tell Stories:** A great orator must have the ability to entertain his audience with a story or anything captivating. What eases the tension during speeches are short breaks in which you are able to tell your audience a story, joke or even share ideas. You don't need to be a great storyteller for you to entertain your audience. You just need to know when to bring in an experience that will get your audience entertained. **Conclusion** *Great things started small and if you really want to make a great orator, then you need to start building your confidence, morale and self esteem. The first experience might not be cool but doing it a lot of times makes the whole job interesting.*
Letter To A Newbie They comes a time when you want to diversify but you are scared of trying out something new. I did! And I have been afraid to write a single dime on my account. ***Blogging as we all know is the act of writing, creating contents and even audios for the listening pleasure of everyone.*** Being a blogger requires a lot of dedication and devotion both mentally and physically. You may not thrive well in a noisy or distracting environment, hence, you will need your space. There are times you will feel like quitting but the truth is, **whatever is your passion will always remain your passion.** Being aware of other bloggers and knowing the sea of blogging will not be a smooth sail will actually help you. These should be a major concerned to you regardless of any other factor. You don't have to expect your first article gathering over 5 million likes and comments, you need to understand you just began and it will take some time before you gain your grounds but how do you gain your audience attention? Know what you are good at and focus on it, you don't need to be a jack of all trades but you just have to focus on a particular area so you will be able to reach out to your audience. You don't expect to be a professional in health blogs, travel and sports. You need to specialise else you may end up not having anything to show for. Aside the monetary gains another reward a blogger seek is followers. The number of people who react to your article, follows and comment on them could boost your morale. At times, this doesn't come handy, you have to work for it like there is no tomorrow. And that is why the blogging job seems so tedious, imagine having 2000 followers only to wake up to see 1800. I know how depressing that could be but notwithstanding, you just have to continue pushing. Remember, it is not the crowd that matters but just genuine followers and that is what you just earned yourself. As a new blogger on this platform, don't compare yourself with old bloggers. Their rewards, subscribers and others. Just focus on yourself and try to build your own audience by so doing, you will exclude yourself from unnecessary pressure. Instead of grumbling why they are paid higher than you, you need to ask them for tips on how they made it that big, watch them closely and you could learn from them. Remember, we learn everyday and today isn't exempted. Dear new blogger, you will always have reasons to quit. It might be your articles are not getting the necessary attention or you are not noticed by the hot. These are naturally fuels to make you discontinue in your race to the top. Will you give up and let go of the trophy? What if all your earnings could be made in just a day? Have you thought of it? You don't have to quit dear friend, pick yourself up and try something new. You have a lot of interesting articles people will be so passionate to read about. Can you go back to work, you may not have all the necessary attentions now but just know your turn will come. Try writing articles on interesting topics, engage in the comment section. You don't need to just post and logout, try reading other people's articles, write meaningful comments and try to build friendship from there. Nobody on this platform is a snub unless they are busy. Good association and interaction is all you need to build your desired fan base. **Conclusion** Being a blogger requires great sacrifice, commitment and dedication, you don't expect to be a good blogger without exhibiting this character. There are moments you could go without getting any comment, nobody visits your articles or even being rewarded. What will you do in such moments? Will you let go and kill your dream of becoming a blogger or will you keep on pushing? The choice is yours to make but always remember nothing good comes easy.
