Why You Should Not Date a Financial Illiterate Individual You may think that money doesn't matter, but guess what? It does. Everything from your career and income level to where you'll be living is influenced by your mindset about money. I watched a series on Netflix not too long ago entitled **REA(L)OVE** wherein the show focuses on people who are in the dating scenes and every time there's a buzzer their well-kept secret is being exposed to other people. One guy was in a debt and the ladies somehow got turned off by the said contestant. https://www.netflix.com/ph-en/title/80226927 Some will say that love is enough and both of you will endure it and work together but what if they are not on the same page as you are? Why should you still date a financially illiterate individual? Let's first get the definition of the term financial illiterate from quora: https://www.quora.com/What-does-being-financially-illiterate-mean It means not knowing the value of money. Financially illiterate people look at money as a means to get things (most often stuff they can't afford). Now that we understand the meaning I will focus on some problems that you may experience if you still pursue the said relationship. They could be emotionally unstable. This is because they are not able to handle stress as a result of financial problems. They will also easily get stressed out when they see you spending on things that they think are unnecessary. They could be financially irresponsible. This is because they do not know how to manage their money or they just spend it on things that they don't need. They will also think that it's okay for them to spend your money and not theirs. They will probably not be saving money. Whether we want it or not, our goals in life are also affected by the money that we save. Long-term plans and discussions will not be a priority as saving money isn't part of the plan at all. If you are in a relationship with someone who is not saving money, it might be time to reconsider your decision. The reason why you are in a relationship is that you want to spend time with each other and have fun together for the longest time ideally for a lifetime right? If your partner isn't interested in saving money, then he or she will probably not be interested in spending time with you either. You might be surprised to find out that saving money is not a priority for your partner, but it is something you should consider and pay attention to. If your partner keeps spending money on unnecessary things and doesn't seem interested in saving up for anything, then this could be a sign that he or she isn't the right one for you. They are likely to be caught in debt traps. As the new iPhone got released recently some people are already in debt traps as they want to be in the loop of having a new gadget. Now being with someone who's tied with debt isn't a good thing. It can be stressful and cause problems in your relationship. If your partner is already in debt, then you need to find out how much they owe and if they have any plans on paying it back. If they can't afford it, then it's time to rethink your relationship. It could be a sign of financial instability. Ultimately, dating should be about connecting and building lasting relationships, so that you can both bring out the best in each other. Make sure that your partner is someone who understands the value of a sound financial foundation, so you have enough common ground to build a relationship on. If they don't and you aren't able to talk openly about money with them, then it's probably best to take a step back and reevaluate your relationship. Your finances are too important to let someone who can't respect that have control over them.

How To Deal with Toxic Friends Who Make You Question Yourself Let's face it—sometimes our friends aren't so great! Don't worry. We've all got them. You know the type: the friend who has room in his party for you but then spreads mean rumors about you behind your back. Or the friend who is a pathological liar, yet you find yourself having to correct the truth. These are toxic friends—harmful influences that can make you question yourself, your identity, and your future. And yet, it's hard to let go of these toxic friends. After all, you've known them for so long, and they've been there for you through thick and thin. You don't want to hurt their feelings by ending the friendship, and not over an issue that seems small in comparison to all your years together. So what do you do when you're faced with a toxic friend? Here are some tips to help. Identify your friend's toxic traits. Toxic friends are often very good at making you feel guilty for disagreeing with them. They'll make it seem like you're being selfish and rude if you don't conform to their way of thinking. If this is happening in your friendship, then it's time to take a step back and reflect on all the issues that have arisen between the two of you over time. *Are there any patterns that emerge?* Are there certain beliefs or values that are always being brought up as reasons why one person should do something or believe something in a certain way? If so, then this might be evidence that your friend has some toxic traits. If you notice that your friend is always trying to guilt-trip you into doing something or feeling a certain way, then this is one sign of toxic traits. Manipulative people don't respect your boundaries and will often try to get what they want by playing on your emotions. Decide what you'll accept and what you won't tolerate. Once you've identified the toxic traits, decide what you'll accept and what you won't tolerate. It will be important for you to set boundaries with your friend. You don't want to be in a relationship where you are feeling used or manipulated. In certain cases, you will have to draw the line and decide whether this friendship is worth keeping. You can't change someone's behavior, but you can change your reaction to it. If you feel that your friend's toxic traits are affecting your life, then cut off all contact with them and find new friends who support who you are as an individual. Don't take their opinions on life decisions to heart, especially if they're always negative or judgmental about everything you do or say in the first place — including the decision to end the friendship, for that matter! If you know that the friendship isn't working out in your favor, then it's time to cut your losses and move forward. People who drain you of all your energy should be avoided at all costs — especially if they're negative people who only see the world in a black-and-white way. If you're still having a hard time letting go of a toxic friend, try talking to them about why you feel like the friendship isn't working out. If they don't want to talk about it or are unable to see things from your point of view, then consider ending the friendship yourself. It's important to realize that toxic friends are symptoms of larger problems. By reading this blog post, you've learned a few things about what can cause people to act out as toxic friends. It's also important to remember that there is nothing wrong with you or your friends. The goal of this blog is not to judge or condemn, but rather to recognize and address toxic relationships so that they can be fixed or abandoned.

Why Is It Important To Research Before Investing? Investing is investing. It should give you higher returns in the future, better ROI, and be a smart move. But why do we need to research first before jumping into investments? It's because of the simple reason that there are numerous investment opportunities out there. And if you don't explore, you could invest in something that will never give you any returns. Since most of us are into cryptocurrency nowadays, we are somehow well aware of the dangers of not doing proper research on some projects. I am not keen on such details because I believe I will still earn them in the long run. But lately, I have been pondering why we should do our research.? To avoid losing hard-earned money is the most straightforward answer. But if you're a long-term investor, it's not just about avoiding losses but also maximizing your returns. I came up with this point because so many people out there want to jump on the bandwagon of a particular project just because it's hot and trending. They don't care about its potential, viability, or even whether you can call them a scam or not. All they want is to ride on their popularity and make some quick money, just like what happened during the 2017 bull run. (I ventured into crypto the same year but I am not aware of much compared to now) Most people are still doing it even now when the price of bitcoin has dropped significantly from its all-time highs. It is the bear market, and as we are experiencing some portfolios in green from the previous years, they are as bloody as ever. The bear market is not bad if you know how to use it properly. You can learn more about this in our video below. To get the proper background information, when NFT games started, anonymous developers and people hail some projects that can promise fast returns. I had also invested in some of them and lost a good amount of money. I did plan to run away from it, but it was too late. Some projects got abandoned by the developers and got down into oblivion. I am not sure if MyDefiPets is still operating, but I think that one isn't good stuff anymore. To keep up with the trends and developments in investments and technology, I looked for more information and got into some of the new games. I found many NFT projects out there that are promising and have great potential. But some don't. Right now, I am focused more on projects offered in the Hive blockchain as some of them are already stable, and if in case that I lose something, it isn't that hurtful as most of the stuff I used is from the earnings in my post. Making your investment decisions based on facts rather than emotions is essential. I have seen that some people make decisions based on emotions and get into panic mode when they lose something. If you are planning to invest in something, you must do your homework first and ensure that the project is legit before making a decision. You should also note that most of the projects in the blockchain are still in beta mode, so there's no assurance that they will become successful in the future. On the other hand, some people don't want to lose anything, so they hold on to their assets even though it is no longer a good investment. For example, if you bought an ICO for $1 and now it's worth $0.5, it's time to sell or move your holdings elsewhere. It is essential to research before making any investment decision to ensure you make the right choice. Since you are investing your money already might as well give it your all now and do the proper personal research. Don't be like me.

Why You Should (or shouldn't) have a Virtual Friend It seems like these days, more and more people are meeting online. Some have found their soul mates from other corners of the world!! Others have been able to find friends where they used to feel alone. Maybe you've been trying to meet a special someone on social apps or through your phone app store. Some might have even invested in a gold digger or sugar daddy sites which I would not name. Well, I want to ask you a straightforward question should we settle for a virtual friend? Fortunately, modern technology has allowed us to make new friends. It almost feels like you've known your entire life. I always say that I only have one online best friend but have multiple friends online nowadays, and probably if you are reading this blog post, most likely you are friends of mine. Now, I have a question for you. Have you ever tried to make friends online? If so, then how did that turn out for you? At first, I was skeptical about making friends on the internet, but once I started, it felt like second nature. My favorite way to meet new people is through Discord. In this blog post, I will share some advantages and disadvantages of having a virtual friend. Virtual friends are always there for you. Your virtual friend will always be there for you, no matter what day. You can contact them whenever you need to talk about anything or if you want someone to listen to what's going on in your life. It is handy if you have a bad day at work and need someone who can relate to your situation. Virtual friends are more accessible to talk to than real-life friends. If you're shy or have trouble making new friends, starting conversations with people you don't know very well can be challenging. With a virtual friend, there's no pressure because you don't have to meet them physically in person. Virtual friends can be fake as some portray a persona they want to show. They may not be the same person they portray themselves to be. They may be very different from their virtual self. You can't get to know them or learn who they are. It's easy to hide behind a computer monitor and pretend to be someone else. They can be someone you want to be, but it's not the same as being yourself. Virtual friends can help you find a real-life friend. I have met many friends online, and I can say that I consider most of them real-life friends already. Some I have already met, others are not yet due to geographical situation, and others are just for privacy. The great thing about having an online friend is getting to know them. You can have a good conversation and make them feel comfortable around you. It's easy to talk about anything without fear of judgment because they aren't face-to-face with you! When we are face-to-face, we tend to judge each other on their looks or dress. We tend not to open up as much as we do when behind our computer screens. Virtual friendships might lead to issues of trust and betrayal. It's important to remember that even though you feel like you know someone well, they are still a stranger. You can never trust them completely, no matter how much you think you have a connection with them. Online friendships have the potential to be more intimate than face-to-face relationships. You might share things about yourself that you wouldn't tell other people in your life. It is because it's easy to talk about anything without fear of judgment. After all, they aren't face-to-face with you! In the end, this comes down to your personal preferences. If you feel you can benefit from a friend who is always there for you, then go for it! The choice is ultimately up to you!

5 Things To Do When You Feel That Life Is On Hold Photo by Eliott Reyna on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@eliottreyna?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/life-decisions?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText What to do when you feel that your life is on hold? Sometimes you can feel as though you are standing still while the world moves on. You know that things will improve, and there is no point feeling down or upset about it, but that doesn't mean you feel any better about it. Sometimes I think that life is on pause, and as people achieve multiple accolades in life, you may ask what about me? When will my fortunateness be? The answer is that it will come. You have to put in the hard work and wait for it. The world moves on because people push ahead, so don't let yourself fall behind. Don't let yourself stagnate. Move onward, and you will find that the world comes with you. In this blog post, I will share some tips you can do if you feel that your life isn't moving. Take a break. It may sound crazy as you feel that taking a break from everything can help you move but hear me out first. Maybe you are already used to your routine and feel you can't live without it. I'm not saying that you have to take a break from your daily tasks, but rather try to change how you do them. Try to do something new and exciting. Maybe you can start reading a new book or join a community of like-minded people. The key here is that you need to find something that will make you feel inspired and motivated again. You mustn't just do something new for the sake of doing it. Try to find something that will make you happy and fulfilled. De-clutter your life. Maybe you have some excess baggage that needs to throw away. Are you holding resentment or ill feelings toward other people? Have you tried letting it go? Envy is a poison that will eat away at your soul. Try to find ways to avoid it as much as possible. **It is okay to admit it to yourself.** I get you, be honest with yourself and work it out. De-cluttering your life will remove the unnecessary things in your life and make room for new items. Simplify your life by eliminating all the undesirable baggage weighing you down. Be gentle with yourself; do not beat yourself up for feeling jealous from time to time. Meditate. **Take a walk.** **Get some fresh air and sunshine.** Visit your friends and loved ones. Spend time with people who support you and make you feel good about yourself. There are many ways to deal with jealousy, but one thing is for sure: it is not easy! It takes time, patience, commitment, and effort to overcome this feeling of envy. I always remind mindset the right time will come, and I need to be prepared for it when it happens. Limit your social media exposure. Studies show that people who spend more time on social media tend to feel jealous. It is because we often compare our lives with those of other people, and seeing someone doing something unique or having fun with their friends can make us feel bad about ourselves. Limiting your exposure to social media is the only way to avoid feeling jealous. I have found that taking breaks from social media (no matter how short) helps me focus on my life and appreciate what I have instead of focusing on what others have. A life on hold can happen to anyone, anywhere, and anytime. Some of us even feel like we're stuck in the middle at times - with no way to move forward or progress, unable to go back without regrets. But sometimes, it's just a matter of looking hard enough for a bit of inspiration and finding it through the little things. Take a minute to think about what you want to do in life, and then take action. Please don't wait for someone else to make it happen for you. You are the only person who can make your dreams come true.

Why You Should Use Grammarly When Creating Content The majority of us are not native speakers of the English language. However, we can understand some English words and phrases when writing stuff that can be a different story. Grammar will always be an issue for most of us; hence, a tool such as Grammarly can significantly help everyone. Since I started creating emails, I have been a fan of the said application; most of my drafts are written there, and I have more than 300+ drafts already saved in my account. When creating content, we all want to ensure that it’s well-written and error-free. Grammarly is a tool that can help us when creating and editing our documents and checks if there’s a spelling error too. But how does Grammarly work? How do you use it, and is it worth it? Grammarly is an excellent tool for writing content because it checks your grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It has been one of the main errors I get when creating drafts! I always interchange the prepositions, the in, on, and other stuff. It usually highlights our mistakes in what we are typing to ensure that we follow the basic guidelines in writing. Punctuation and comma are also one of the weak points that I have as I try to write everything in one go. Grammarly will recommend rephrasing sentences that are hard to read. There are instances wherein I write whatever comes into my mind. They are lengthy to the point that the concept repeats all over again. Grammarly recommends that I should rephrase the sentence to make it more concise and easy to understand. Grammarly is quite helpful because it helps me focus on the ideas I want to convey instead of writing a lot only to find that they are all redundant. You can also use Quillbot to check and see some simple paraphrasing. ( I just learned the other app due to some article spinning issues we caught before while investigating some users). The app also highlights all the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes that you have made. It is quite a helpful feature because I can quickly correct them immediately instead of spending time on them later. When there’s a spelling or grammar error in one of my articles, it makes me feel like they are not worth reading because they are full of mistakes. It is hurtful to the eyes, and when I see that in my work, I tend to stop for a while and think about what I can do to fix it. While Grammarly can be great for checking your grammar and spelling, it doesn’t offer suggestions for improving your writing in other ways. When I am writing stuff and see that all red marks are corrected, the main problem is converting my work from a passive tone into an active tone of voice. Even in YoastSEO applications, when I try to work with the keywords and how I create stuff, I always get the info I need to improve on changing the tone of my writing. It would be better if Grammarly could suggest how to change it, but unfortunately, it highlights what needs to do. You can also download the Grammarly browser plug-in if you don’t want to buy the premium subscription. You can use the Grammarly browser plug-in to check your writing while typing on any website. It will also highlight issues that need to be corrected and provide suggestions on how they should do. It is an excellent way to ensure everything is correct before publishing your content. Though it is sometimes annoying, as I usually write in a gibberish text while writing and chit-chatting with others, this is quite helpful when starting. Although Grammarly isn’t perfect, it can help ensure that you have grammatically correct content. What is the best way to use Grammarly? If you’re starting with Grammarly, it’s a good idea not to rely on it entirely. Instead, use it as a tool in conjunction with your editing skills. You should also check for any issues that Grammarly flags up before publishing anything online and double-check the stuff by reading out loud. Most likely, if it sounded wrong or off, it probably is. Be Grateful for Your Job: 4 Reasons Why Gratitude Can Improve Performance and Happiness Most of us dread going to work. The challenges we face at work can sometimes make us feel unappreciated and frustrated, which then makes us grumpy and miserable. We may start to feel as if we are wasting our time, talents, and energy. But the truth is that we do have a choice. We can choose to be happy and successful at work, even if it doesn’t seem like that right now. We can choose to see the good in our work and enjoy it. We can find ways to use our talents, skills, and abilities for the benefit of others. We can make a difference in their lives and feel proud of what we do. But what does gratitude have to do with your job? It turns out that gratitude can play an important role in your job performance and happiness. Here are some reasons why: Gratitude makes you more optimistic. When you’re grateful for the good things in your life, it makes you more optimistic about the future. And when you’re optimistic, it helps you have greater confidence and courage. A positive attitude is contagious and can help those around you be more positive as well. Gratitude increases your self-esteem. My colleague back then always mentioned that there's no easy job and if it becomes easy, then it will not be worth the pay. Gratitude helps you focus on the positive aspects of your work and life.  This can help improve your energy level and outlook on life, which can lead to higher productivity and better performance at work. Gratitude is a powerful force. It can help you become a more positive and productive person, which in turn will improve your relationships and work performance. Gratitude motivates others around you to achieve better results by showing them that you appreciate their efforts and contributions to the team or organization's success. This encourages others to be thankful, creating a positive feedback loop within your organization (and beyond). When you are grateful, you feel appreciated and respected by others. This can lead to promotions, raises, and opportunities that might not have existed otherwise. When you feel appreciated and respected by your boss or colleagues, they will be more likely to listen to your ideas and take them seriously. Gratitude improves relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, etc., which can make working together easier when there are challenges at hand (which there always are). Having a good relationship with these people will also help build trust among them, so they're more willing to share information with each other when needed—which makes it easier for everyone to do their jobs better. Finally, being grateful is a form of self-care. When you're feeling good about yourself and what you have to offer the world, it's easier to handle the challenges that come your way — and even see them as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. I am grateful for the current job that I have right now. It gives better compensation compared to the other work that I had combined. However, I still have some fear of having a hard time searching for a replacement for this work. Online job searching is quite hard, and with the skillset that I am acquiring lately, I need to further expand my horizons. I am one of those guys that don't want his job in the first place, but since this is the most paying job per se that can give me what I need, I am stuck on this. Maybe in the future, I'll work on a website, but for now, I'll just focus and be grateful for what I have.

Debunking The Difference Between Shyness And Social Anxiety Are you shy or socially anxious? Oh, wait, this is supposed to be a blog post. Sorry-I got a bit carried away there. Let me try that again. Are you shy or socially anxious? How about just being plain confused about the difference between the two? Believe it or not, there really is a difference! According to an article by ChoosingTheraphy.com https://www.choosingtherapy.com/social-anxiety-vs-shyness/ Shyness is common, and it refers to feeling uncomfortable in social situations. Often, if someone feels shy, they can still motivate themselves to perform when needed. Social anxiety, however, is an anxiety disorder that can affect someone’s quality of life.   Comparing The Difference. The main difference between shyness and social anxiety is how it affects your performance. If you’re feeling shy, chances are that you can still perform when needed. You might be nervous or uncomfortable in social situations, but that doesn’t mean you won’t show up for work or school on time. With social anxiety, however, there’s a strong chance that the symptoms will prevent someone from showing up at all. Someone with social anxiety may believe that they’ll become so anxious that they can’t go to work or school. They might think that if they try and fail, it will be worse than not trying at all. Or, they may feel too embarrassed to face their friends or coworkers after such an episode. The symptoms of social anxiety can be very strong and pervasive. In fact, they often prevent people from living the lives they want to live. If you feel like you’re struggling with social anxiety, it’s important to see a mental health professional who specializes in this condition. How Do Shyness And Social Anxiety Affect People? Shyness and social anxiety can affect people in different ways. For example, some people may have trouble speaking to anyone except their closest friends or family members. They may be afraid of saying the wrong thing or feel embarrassed if they say something stupid. Other people might get nervous when they have to speak in front of other people but are fine talking one-on-one. Some people with social anxiety can’t even leave their homes. They might have agoraphobia, which is a fear of being in public places or open spaces. People with social anxiety may also feel nervous about meeting new people or being in crowds. They may worry about what other people think of them, and they often have trouble making friends. Some people get so anxious that their physical symptoms affect their everyday lives. These symptoms can include Sweating, blushing, muscle twitches, and trembling Feeling dizzy and lightheaded Nausea or indigestion, as well as a racing heart rate chest pain Upset stomach Numbness or tingling in the hands and feet Anxiety attacks, are sudden feelings of intense fear, panic, doom, and discomfort that occur for no apparent reason. They can last from a few minutes up to an hour. Anxiety attacks are not dangerous, but they can be very frightening. A person having an anxiety attack may also feel like he or she is about to pass out or lose control of what’s happening. They may feel like they need to escape from a place where people are present (like a crowd), even if no danger is present. How Can Social Anxiety Be Overcome? The most important thing to do when you have social anxiety is not to panic. If you feel that your anxiety is getting out of control, there are some things you can try. Breathe slowly and deeply, in through the nose and out through the mouth. Count to 10 slowly as you breathe in and out (or count one number for every inhalation). Try to think of something that calms you down. This could be a special place in nature or a peaceful memory from the past. It’s also important to accept that you have social anxiety and that it is not your fault. You did not cause your anxiety, but there are things you can do to manage it. If possible, try to find a therapist who specializes in helping people with social anxiety. If you can’t find a therapist, try to find a support group for people with social anxiety. There are many websites that offer free support groups, including this one. You can also read self-help books or try other types of therapy such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). What to do about shyness? The best thing to do is to practice being around people. Try going to social events where other people are, such as parties or school functions. If you feel anxious when hanging out with people, try finding something else to focus on (e.g., drinking a glass of water). Once you get used to being around people, it will be easier to start conversations. Once you feel comfortable with someone, ask them about their interests or hobbies. Also, try joining clubs or volunteering at events where there are a lot of people. The more you practice socializing, the easier it will be to talk with people. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to people in person, try writing them an email or letter. You can also work on your self-esteem by taking care of yourself and doing things that make you feel good about yourself. If you have difficulty talking to people, try these techniques: -Focus on what the other person is saying and respond appropriately. Don’t worry about what you will say next; just listen. -Try not to stare at the person or make any unnecessary movements (e.g., playing with your hair). These things distract others from what they are saying. -If you find yourself not understanding something, ask for clarification. Don’t pretend to understand when you don’t. -Don’t be afraid of silence; it is okay if the conversation stops for a while. I hope I've been able to take the "shyness vs social anxiety" debate a little further and shed a little light on the differences between these two slightly similar-sounding, but very different disorders. Personally, I was always a bit of a shy person, which affected me more in school than among friends (and more as an adult than when I was younger). Somewhere along the way, though, my personal shyness turned into social anxiety; it's not always easy to tell where one stops and another begins, but we all have our own coping mechanisms to get us through those rough patches. In any case, the difference between shyness and social anxiety can be confusing at times. After reading this article, though, hopefully, you now have a better understanding of how these two are different from each other. If you have noticed - the way that I wrote down this article is quite different from what I usually do as I am working on having this as a script for a Youtube video. I am planning to create a Youtube page with some voiceovers thus need to work with other stuff.

What To Do If Your Friend Doesn't Want to Pay for their Debt? If a friend doesn't want to pay for a debt, it can be a very stressful situation. You might feel like you're being taken advantage of and that your friend is not being fair. You might even feel like they are stealing from you, which is never a good feeling. But, how do you go about getting your money back? What happens if they don't want to pay the debt back? This article will help you navigate this tricky situation. Offer Some Good Persuasion. If you want to get your friend to pay the debt back, it's important that you're both on the same page with what happened. You need to communicate with them and explain what happened, why it's important for them to pay back the money, and how they can go about doing so. The more information they have, the easier it will be for them to make a decision. Being a debt collector for years, I have heard multiple excuses of people trying to avoid paying their debts, but since both of you have personal relationships, try to understand what is happening to your friend. If they are going through hard times, try to help them out. If they have other priorities, then you can't force them to pay back the debt, but at least try to understand where they are coming from.   Gently remind them of their promises. I know you are the last person on earth who wants to remind your friend about their debts, but it's important that you do. When you're talking with them, gently remind them of what they promised and how much time has passed since then. If they've been avoiding your calls or texts ( I post mo sa social media or ipa Tulfo mo joke lang dito) just keep on reminding them about it. A daily follow-up will be sufficient if they've gotten behind. By doing so, they will understand that you are eager to collect the amount owed by them. If they are still reluctant to pay up, you can use a softer approach by trying to appeal to their better judgment. Explain why it's important for them to keep their word, and remind them of how much time has passed since they promised it. Explore the Reason Behind Their Refusal to Pay In collections, we call this RFD or Reason for Delay. Each time there's a delay in payment, even if it is a day behind, we ask our clients to explain why they got late. This can work too with your friend, and for sure, they have their reasons for not making the payment on the agreed date. Find out what's holding them back. Maybe it's a financial issue, or maybe there's something else going on in their lives. If you can understand why they're hesitant to pay up, you can find an alternative solution that works for both of you. Always try to search for a win-win situation for both, though I know that it will be hard nowadays to have that as there's a commitment broker already due to non-payment. But at least try and see if there's a way to work things out. If you can't come up with an alternative, or if they won't budge, then you might have to call it quits. $$ Cut your friend off completely. Some would say that it is just money and friendship should not be affected by that, but for me, it does matter! Trust is something that can never be replaced once broken, especially if the amount owed is quite big. It’s not about the money, it’s about trust. If you don't have a good relationship with someone, then it's better that you cut them off completely. You don't need people around you who will take advantage of your kindness or generosity and use it against you. I myself had been promised to be paid by the people who owe me money, but they never did, and even after so many years, I still haven't been paid. It is frustrating as there are certain points in my life when I need the money, but as I always believed then, it is better not to be in debt to other people and try to save more and more funds. I also get loans from friends. Do not get me wrong, but I make sure that I pay them ahead of time. Thanks to earning money by blogging, I am able to pay for such things if I need to get a loan from others. I always tell my friends to try doing what I do, especially if they are in need of money, but then again, they just want the easy way and not grind. The Power of Healing in Writing Webinar When I started this account, I tried to hide my account due to personal reasons. If you already know me in discord and in the server of Hiveph for sure you already know why. Anyhow, since I am already exposed to some that will reach this blog post I would like to invite you to the event of Hiveph this coming Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 PM this is the webinar relating to The Power of Writing in Healing. When I reached out to the community asking on what are the things they want to be tackled in a mental health webinar some of the answers are the following. Coping up with stress and depression. Emptiness Healing inner emotions Recovering from trauma Anxiety Disorder. Mental burnout And after some delibaration and discussion with the speaker we ended up with the title as she is also into blogging. Who is the Speaker? I was able to reach out to a registered Psychometrician named  The Wounded Healer - Mental Health Advocate-Speaker in my search for a possible candidate for a talk. I can try to discuss some parts as I am also into Psychology but better to get help from a professional on this case so that we will be guided accordingly. She also has an amazing project called Online Kamustahan which aims to help someone via zoom on processing their inner thoughts and emotions. https://www.facebook.com/thewoundedhealer1367 Is this for free? Usually, mental health webinars have a price to pay, but I had covered the fees for the speaker so that you will just hop into the server and listen to the webinar on that day. Plus it is one of the initiatives that I thought of that can help the community in a way. Hopefully, this will be a regular thing but let's see what will happen on the first run of the webinar. What to expect in the webinar? 1-hour talk about mental health Check-in activity Guided meditation 1 reflection/writing activity related to self-care This is the program flow that we had discussed Ish will be talking about mental health and walk us through on how writing can help us in healing. I think this is all for now, if you have questions relating to the event you can send me a message or comment on this post.

You Don't Want to Hurt Your Kid's Feelings. But…. While I am working last night and listening to some Youtube videos, I stumbled upon a video titled: What's the most painful thing you've been told? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PscVXmrzjc&t=1s when you keep criticizing your kids they don’t stop loving you, they stop loving themselves A comment from the post struck me and made me think for a while. Our little one is a year old right now, and if you ask me, she is such a sweet girl. She has her moments of being cranky and fussy, but I always try to see the good in her. I am bad with verbal communication, and more often than not if I open my mouth and say words I am too tactful and don't recognize others. I always think that I am being nice when in reality, it may come across as hurtful or insensitive. Don’t compare one child to another. We hate to be compared to other people, but there are times wherein what we hate is being passed on to our children without us knowing we are doing it. When you compare one child to another, you are comparing their differences and not understanding that what works for one may not work for the other. As someone who studied Psychology, we are being thought about the multiple intelligences a person has. One can be good with something but falls short in a different field. We are all different and that’s what makes us special. For example, one may be very good at Mathematics but not that great at English. We need to understand that everyone has their own version of intelligence and we need to appreciate each other’s differences. I had been compared with my siblings and that left a bad experience for me growing up. Don’t label a child as good or bad. You never know what they are capable of, and the only way to find out is by giving them a chance. I know it for a fact as I was once labeled as a "problem child" back in the day. I was always in the computer shop playing computer games and if not, I am in the arcade just waiting for the time to pass. I was never interested in school or anything that had to do with academics. I lack focus and motivation. My parents were worried about my future as they thought that I will end up being just another person who has nothing to show for their life. Stop nitpicking every little thing they do. Yes, they are kids. They will make mistakes and you have to keep in mind that they are still learning. You have to give them a chance to grow, otherwise, they will not be able to learn from their mistakes. Kids are not just smaller adults; they are different people who need to be treated with respect and kindness. It is important to remember that you were once a kid too, and if you did not have someone who treated you well then maybe that is why you are the way you are. Having said this, do not forget that kids need guidance and discipline. They need to be taught how to behave, how to think, and how to treat others. They are still developing as human beings and they need guidance.

Why Negative Thinking Is Positive Negative thinking, or “pessimism” as it’s often called, is a pretty loaded term. When we think of pessimists, we tend to picture people who are depressed and hopeless about their future. But what if I told you that negative thinking is actually beneficial to your mental health? That while it might not be fun to be around someone who sees the world through such a dark lens all the time, they have the ability to help us see things in ways that can make us more resilient, better decision-makers, and just generally happier with life. **How Negative Thinking Makes You More Resilient** You can be more resilient. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adverse events and experience negative thoughts without becoming overwhelmed by them. This can be especially helpful when you're going through stressful situations in which you might expect to feel down, like losing your job or getting divorced. You can become more optimistic about the future. Optimism is linked with higher levels of happiness and well-being because it helps people see good things in their future rather than focusing on negative outcomes that have already occurred (or may never happen). You may even become more creative! Studies have shown that creative thinking improves when we're feeling sad—meaning that some negative thoughts don't just lead us to worry about things, but also make us more likely to create something new and innovative as a result! Negativity Can Improve Your Decision-Making Skills The fact that you can make better decisions when you're feeling down is a plus, but it's not the only benefit to being negative. Negative thinking can also help you avoid getting caught up in the hype around new products or services and make sure your decisions are based on facts rather than hyperbole. It helps you avoid making mistakes and rash decisions, too! ~~Alam ko na ang mga ganyang paandar di na eepekto yan.~~ Negative thinking can even help improve your self-confidence! Think about it: If something doesn't work out well for a friend or coworker who does something similar to what you do, it might make sense to ask yourself "What did I do differently?" before assuming she's somehow smarter than you or has more natural ability. Negative People Have More Empathy You might think that negative people are the least empathetic people on the planet. After all, they're always complaining about how things could be better and nothing ever works out for them. But there's a reason why negative people have a greater capacity for empathy than their positive peers: They know what it's like to be in pain and can therefore connect with others who have been in similar situations. When you've experienced a lot of failure or disappointment, you come to understand what other people are feeling when they're going through their own struggles—and this allows you to sympathize with others more easily than someone who has had everything go right for them (or at least feels like it). Negativity Helps You Make The Right Choices About Your Social Life A negative person is someone who sees the world as it is, without embellishment. They don't spend time idealizing their lives, but instead they're more likely to focus on the things that are wrong with them. This can be a good thing when it comes to your social life: Negative people are more realistic about the kind of people around them and the choices they make. They're less likely to fall for romantic gestures from someone who doesn't mean it, or get involved with someone who isn't good for them. They Don’t Expect Too Much From Others Your expectations are only your problem if they’re unrealistic. If you’re expecting too much from others, then yes, that can cause problems in your relationships and/or social life. But if you have realistic expectations, then no matter what happens at work or in your personal life—and this is really important—you won’t be disappointed. People who are negative aren't delusional; they don't expect too much from others or themselves or the world or life itself. They know better than to set their hopes high too soon because they understand that nothing lasts forever, especially not good things (which means bad things will eventually happen as well) So, negative thinking isn’t all bad. In fact, it can be incredibly useful! When we look at the evidence of how negative people approach their lives, we see that they tend to be more resilient in the face of hardship, better at making decisions and forecasting future events. These skills are undoubtedly valuable for anyone looking to live a happy life.

Taking Things Slowly Builds Character In today's world, it can be hard to find a place to slow down and enjoy the process of things. We want our results now, and we want them fast. But is that really what's best for us? If you're looking for a healthier way to approach life goals, or just something less stressful than your average work day, consider slowing down and taking things slowly. Here are some reasons why this might be better for you. Photo by Alex Blăjan on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@alexb?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/slow?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText Things that are worth doing, are worth doing slowly. It's easy to get impatient. We live in a culture that values results and productivity over process, but when you take things slowly, the lessons learned along the way are what make your work successful. You're probably wondering: "Why is this important?" Well, if you're taking things too fast and not paying attention to detail, then you might miss out on some key insights about yourself or others—insights that could change your life for the better. So how do we know what's worth taking slowly? First of all, it's important to have patience with yourself and others around you who may have different perspectives on things than yours (which will probably be everyone). The more patient we are with ourselves and others' ideas/actions/perspectives/etc., the more likely we are able to see every angle of any situation before making decisions that affect our lives as well as those around us Let's take it slow so slow. Slow and steady wins the race. This is a saying that holds true in many aspects of life. Whether you are trying to learn a new skill or trying to accomplish a goal, taking things slowly will help you reach your destination and build character along the way. The pressure to do things quickly can be overwhelming at times. However, when we rush through something we often miss lessons that would have been learned had we taken our time doing it instead of rushing through it. This applies not only when learning new skills but also when doing work around the house, going on vacation, or spending time with family members—in fact, any activity where we are interacting with others (and ourselves). The importance of persistence: Persistence is key here! If you keep trying no matter what happens then ultimately success will come! We need persistence because failure happens—it’s inevitable! We just need courage enough not to give up when a failure occurs so that we can learn from those failures until eventually, success does occur! The good news is this: You don't have to worry about failure because there is always another opportunity coming right behind every failure. Photo by Kyle Glenn on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@kylejglenn?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/goals?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText Being slower and more patient can help you work towards your goals in a healthy way. When we make decisions quickly, we often don't think about the consequences of our actions. We may find ourselves making mistakes more often than we'd like to admit, but that's okay! Mistakes are a part of life—they can help us learn from our experiences and become better at what we do. In the same way that taking things slowly can be good for you physically, it can also be good for your mental health as well. When you're feeling stressed or anxious, slow down and breathe deeply before making any big decisions (or even small ones). This will give your brain time to process all the information coming in and help put things into perspective so that when it's time to make a decision, there won't be any surprises lurking around the corner Photo by Sudo on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/es/@socialsudo?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/enjoy?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText Enjoy the process. Enjoy making mistakes and learning from them—don't try too hard to get everything right immediately. Even if you're learning something difficult and challenging, stay relaxed about it, and don't stress yourself out by putting too much pressure on yourself; this will only make things worse. In conclusion, taking things slowly is good for you. It can help you build character and improve your relationships with others. But most importantly, it allows you to enjoy life more by focusing on the present moment rather than worrying about what might happen in the future.

I Received Appreciation From Other What's Next? Appreciation is the best feeling in the world. When you receive appreciation from others, it's a beautiful thing! It's like throwing your arms up in the air and saying "Yay!" Or maybe it's more like sitting with your feet up on the couch, sipping tea while watching the sunset. Either way, there is something magical about being appreciated by others that makes us feel good inside. This also holds true if the one that appreciated what you did is somehow important to you or the people that you look up to. Just like what happened to me when I created a blog post about what I learned from Semi Safe Space Podcast it was an exhilarating experience for me when they shared my content and captioned it "nakakakilig". https://www.facebook.com/SemiSafeSpace The fanboy in me easily got awakened and appreciate them even more. There's a reason why we are always taught to appreciate others in life. Appreciation is a two-way process where you need to be appreciated for your actions and gifts that you give, and in return, you need to give back the love that you receive from others. The act of appreciation creates an environment of giving and receiving which creates mutual respect among individuals. It also helps build relationships with others and fosters trust because it shows that you care about them as people. I am so bad with this, makes me wonder back then why I should care and appreciate others' work. Like if they like what I am doing then good but going an extra mile to appreciate their stuff nah. Photo by Mert Talay on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@merttly?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/appreciation?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText If you show appreciation, you will be appreciated. Appreciation goes beyond simply giving thanks or offering praise; it involves taking action on something that matters to them. If someone does something nice for you—like cooking dinner or posting an emotional support meme online—you can express your gratitude by actually doing something nice in return maybe equal to what you have received or maybe go beyond that. Photo by Annie Spratt on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@anniespratt?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/appreciation?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText We are so self-centered that we just don't care about others and their needs but when we receive compliments, we get flattered. We are not humble, grateful, or appreciative. And no matter what happens to us in life, there is always someone who has had it worse than us. We fail to realize that the problems which seem big to us might be small compared to someone else’s problem. We forget the importance of being thankful for things that happen around us every day because they become part of our routine but if you lose these things, you will notice how important they were for your daily life. Appreciation doesn't come without hard work. While it's true that appreciation is a choice, it doesn't come without hard work. When we choose to appreciate, we're choosing to see the potential in something rather than focusing on its shortcomings. We're also choosing not to compare ourselves with others or hold onto old stories of how things "should" be done. When you begin appreciating more, the world around you will change—and so will your sense of self-worth and ability to handle challenges that arise along life's journey. So if someone appreciated your work or whatever happened to your life try to step out in the mini circle that you have and give back the energy given. It wouldn't cost a thing and it can build a stronger connection with others too! I am now doing a podcast relating to the life of content creators and it is available in Spotify: Episode 1: The Art and Story of Jude Villarta https://open.spotify.com/episode/6rqY3qh70aD9kodqis3snL?si=b076897875814ffc If you have the leisure of time you can listen to it and even send me a message for a possible collab.

3 Reasons Why You Should Wake Up Early You may be wondering why anyone would want to wake up early. After all, it's hard unless you're a morning person. (in my case I am a night person my timezone is reversed since I work at night) That's true! But there are lots of good reasons for waking up early that go beyond being productive and feeling good about yourself. Here are three of them: Photo by Jonas Leupe on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@jonasleupe?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/multitasking?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText More time to get things done Wake up early, and you’ll have more time to get things done. You’ll have the chance to do something productive before work or school starts. You can fit in a workout, or maybe even squeeze in a jog around the neighborhood before your day begins. You might think that waking up early would be an obstacle to your productivity, but it turns out that being an early riser might make you more productive than other people: A study conducted by researchers at Harvard University found that people who woke up earlier than their peers had higher levels of happiness and satisfaction with life than those who woke later. The researchers also determined that people who were “morning larks” tended to feel better about themselves overall—they were less depressed and anxious, less likely to suffer from stress and fatigue, felt better about their bodies (even though they weighed more), felt healthier than those who slept later. These are all great reasons to start getting up earlier! https://www.health.harvard.edu/mind-and-mood/waking-up-one-hour-earlier-than-usual-may-reduce-depression-risk Photo by Nubelson Fernandes on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/@nublson?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/distracted?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText Fewer distractions One of the best things about waking up early is that you’re not bombarded with distractions. There are no emails, phone calls, text messages, or notifications from social media. Your family or roommates aren’t home yet to bug you while they get ready for the day either. And if you have children? Well, they’re still sleeping! In fact, there are few things more peaceful than being alone in a quiet house without any distractions. You also won’t have to deal with traffic (unless you commute). And if your morning schedule allows for it, try going for a walk outside before work—it can help clear your head and wake up your body too! Photo by Darius Bashar on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/es/@dariusbashar?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText https://unsplash.com/s/photos/refresh?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText Refreshed and recharged If you're anything like me, you've probably been guilty of staying up late and sleeping in on the weekends. After all, that is the time for rest and relaxation. But when I started waking up early, I realized just how much more productive—and happier—I could be by getting an earlier start to my day. Here are some reasons why waking up early is so beneficial: It gives you more time for exercise! Waking up earlier gives you more control over your schedule and allows you to fit in a workout before or after work (or both). If you're tired at night from working out during the day but still have energy left over, try meditating before bed instead of watching TV or scrolling through social media. You'll feel refreshed both physically and mentally when it's time for sleep! ( I am trying my best to become more constant on it no judgment please) It lets others know what their priorities should be too! When we make efforts toward something important enough like our faith or relationships with family members then other people want what we have because they see how good it makes us feel inside mentally & spiritually speaking--that value proposition works well whether someone believes in God or not; there are many other ways this applies to everyday life too like personal health habits such as eating healthy foods regularly versus junk food only occasionally--which means fewer stress hormones released into bloodstream daily resulting in better overall health outcomes over time too...etcetera... Conclusion In the end, we think it’s better to get up earlier. It allows you to accomplish more and have more time for yourself. We hope this post has given you some inspiration for your own morning routine or given some insight into how waking up early could benefit other people in their lives.

Songs That I Listen To Each Time I am Down I recently joined a Facebook group called **Depression and Anxiety Mental Health Support Group** and have been lurking in the community for quite some time. https://www.facebook.com/groups/316710102096353/ There was a post asking what song they listen to each time that they are down and the list was superb! Some of the songs I am quite familiar with but the rest aren't thus I decided to save some of them on Spotify. Though I am not getting such down vibes lately thanks to multiple activities that I am doing. I will be sharing some of the songs that are saved on my list. Voice of Truth - Casting Crowns Live Performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d81w8I7EjA I had been singing this song ever since I got familiar with Casting Crowns in Karaoke but this version hits the soul big time. I can easily be swayed by the problems in life in the past and even though some may see/notice these moments when I doubt if I can do it or something in mind once I listen to this song for some reason my problems are being swayed away. But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!" This is the verse that I do love to keep on repeating as I am a scared cat a doubtful one before at times I will be asking God, *Kaya ba today?* I Adore - Victory Worship https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5XYfjs-vPI There's always a calming effect on me each time I hear this song. I first heard this song when the pandemic started. People started to feel unease, and a sense of fear engulfed everyone us included. We are starting our little family back then and I think it is just weeks since we got married. I was on the verge of losing my job as I cannot report back to work due to lockdowns implemented in our area. Finances are depleting, though I am expecting a salary, water bills, electricity, and groceries are waving. It was a state of unrest and for the first time, my wife saw me crying due to frustration. When it was played in one of the morning devotionals my heart melted. Tahan Na by Lee Simon Brown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VMwX6knLEE We are all afraid to cry as it seems to be a sign of weakness. I was able to manage my tears very well and emotionally I can say that I am not that inclined. But what will always trigger me is when my wife and daughter are affected. There was a time when I woke up in the middle of midnight and just gazed at both of them. Life is hard, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. How can you trust God if there are a ton of problems along the way? These 3 are the mainstay in my list though there's a ton here in my Youtube list such as rap songs from Skusta Clee, Gloc-9, and many more I find the above-mentioned relieving each time trials are there. How about you what are the songs that you listen to each time of depression?

If Incase that We Bump Each Other Everything is pretty busy nowadays and because of that, though unplanned I decided to take a time off at work to catch up with everything. Some of the users that I do know of here are slowly joining Hive and as someone who was in that blockchain for quite some time, my heart is so full of excitement about what's in store for those who joined. While some are still thinking about whether to join Hive or not it will really be depending on what the motivation is. If you will jump into the ship, immediately expect a huge upvote from other people on your post as some of the people there are earning much more this may not be the case for you. You may either get a better reward than them or you may get none at all. If you had joined Hive already and been in the Hiveph server you may notice this person with an all-caps name SIGE PALITAN MO PA F.O NA TAYO this is my username for now and I might change it in the future. Some may tag me Tp there but it will not work, you should be tagging @tpkidkai for me to get notified. A small back story of my profile image in Hive. Back when Steemit was our platform Adam aka Love and Jazzhero the resident programmer of the group planned to create a game in STEEM and called it Takipsilim you may find out about the project here. https://peakd.com/philippines/@takipsilim/takipsilim-pinoy-game-dev-adventure-starts-here Since I am part of the promo-mentors group, I was tasked to somehow promote the project to other communities so that we can get some support from other people too but at this time, STEEM is on the verge of going down and people are starting to drift away from the platform little by little and I was included on that. Aside from the promotion, I am somehow in charge of the lore part as I am also a resident storyteller from the group. I find my icon cute back then as he looks so young and innocent so I used it on every platform that I had been using since. Except for Linkedin and my personal Facebook account. The project is still on hiatus and not sure when it will be done. If in case you don't know Adam is in the field of medicine and he is quite busy with some stuff irl I remember when we are doing some webinars you can hear the sound of hospital bells asking for doctors etc. Jazz on the other hand is working on other projects that can help him earn more money ( WALANG PERA SA HIVE PH ). Kothy the one who drew our images is focused on her studying but seldom drops by to say hi to everyone. Lastly is me who is just lurking around playing stuff everywhere. Kidding aside I am focused on working now to provide finances for the family that we had built. Going Back on Hive and How You Can At the Very Least Be Succesful. If your introduction post was not noticed that is okay continue on blogging. This is my introduction to the community ages ago. And as you see, it only has 0.07 STEEM earnings which are just dust. Earning and getting support was hard back then as some of us do not really know what the heck is going on. I just saw a post online that you can earn some $$ when creating content and there I join immediately. Each time that I am seeing this intro post I always cringe at the stuff that I write especially the emoji part. But there's no use to editing that anymore it's what it is and even if I change it the blockchain remembers. Since Hive is still a social platform, you will need to interact with other people and interaction is quite costly as it consumes your resource credits. If you had jumped into Hive without some Hive deposited and powered up into your wallet this will be a huge problem as you will start at 0 Hivepower. You can always ask for delegations to https://giftgiver.site/ if they have some Hive power available but not all the time you can get one as some are also asking for it as well. If you used a link from someone to join Hive, ask them for delegation too so that it can help you start with the journey. If in case your resource credits ran out as an additional method of promoting yourself is being active in some of the discord groups. Depending on the community that you want to be a part of you need to make yourself visible and make them know you are existing. It is also a subtle way of letting people visit your blog so that you will get some support. If they had enjoyed the interaction with you either they will give you an upvote or watch out on your post and see if they will like it. For Filipinos who are starting with their journey in Hive, we always encourage them to join the Hiveph server because we offer webinars and discussions and an onboarding program that can help newbies find their way in the ecosystem. All of the staff had a hard time with Steemit/Hive back then and as possible we want the new folks to have a smooth transition there. We are joking that this bear market will be a fun ride as it will be the best time to accumulate more tokens as the oldies see it from a long-term perspective as we had experienced the low and high points of Hive. Quality is always subjective but some guidelines that most curators follow are the word count, contribution to the community and activity, and lastly if it isn't violating plagiarism. Onboarding Process Unknown to some, I am part of the onboarding team both in Hiveph and OCD. Onboarding is a process wherein we educate the possible new users in Hive and discuss what it is all about. Once you got included in the program both the new user and the one who onboarded will get some rewards better than others. You may see the onboarding program on this link. https://peakd.com/onboarding/@ocdb/ocds-onboarding-program-compilation-63 It is not mandatory for new users to become part of this program however it can give you a boost to start here as somehow the person who onboarded you will be accountable for your growth making sure that you will not be experiencing any trouble in the future. Currently, the ones that I had onboarded are@Eunoia, @DennMarc, @BajentingJan21, @kli4d, and @Jher0122 so somehow our accounts are tied as if they will become successful I can say that at some point I was able to guide them along the way and that is the goal btw! To surpass their mentor and give guidance to the new blood that will be joining Hive in the future too. If you want to join Hive and haven't created an account yet + you want me to become your onboarder ( I rarely respond during afternoons PH time ) you can send me a message using the following media discord: tpkidkai#1650 or using this Facebook Page : Tpkidkai Works https://www.facebook.com/tpkidkai This is only available to PH folks as I will be speaking in Tagalog most of the time hence I don't want to add more stress to translating everything into English. Side note: I never thought that this will be a long post as on the back of my mind I will be writing to explain my side of the story and why my name is different and somehow some folks in readcash can't find me in the Hiveph server.

Accomplished Goals for the First Six Months this Year We are nearing halfway to July and so far everything is running smooth sailing. I myself isn't a fan of setting goals as I find myself in the constant loop of procrastination and dismay due to goals that were not able to achieve, thus I try to at the very least minimize my expectation and goals in finances and personal life. First is moving from the busy city life to the province feels. When the pandemic hit last 2020 my wife and I are just starting our own family fast forward we had a pandemic baby in 2021 and she become a full-time mom. Our finances are somehow in not so good standing as our income was cut in half. Around 10,000.00 PHP or $200.00 is paid via utilities such as rent, electricity, water, and internet when we are living in the city. Good thing that when we decided that she will sacrifice her corporate career and do a non-paying but fully rewarding role as a housewife I got a pretty amount of increase as I got a promotion in the office. Since then the financial burden was quite heavy and we both agreed to move into her hometown as the rent and other expenses are quite small compared to what we pay. https://read.cash/@tpkidkai/a-glimpse-of-the-province-life-6e532915 https://peakd.com/history/@tpkidkai/finally-after-years-of-working Take action with my carpal tunnel syndrome. I had been enduring it for years and as someone who manually writes everything with pen and paper, it is kinda painful to do so lately. I realized that I need to make some action the soonest as I got afraid that I might drop our child one way or another if I carry her. Now, there's still pain each time that I write but not that much. The physician told me that the pain will be gone only if I stopped what I am doing which is impossible as I use my hands at work too. https://read.cash/@tpkidkai/take-care-of-your-hands-signs-of-carpal-tunnel-syndrome-9ebbae8b Payoff my loans from friends. Since I got somehow addicted to an NFT game in Hive I asked one of my friends to loan me some money with the terms of returning it after 100 days at 10% interest. 20 days before the loan ended I was able to send the payment on an earlier date. However, as the price of crypto started to plummet including Hive I asked for another loan from a different friend of mine, and this time it is $200 payable until July 31st no interest added. Being with readcash helped me greatly in paying the loan sooner as some of my earnings here are transferred to my Hive account to offset my loan I was able to pay it off before the end of June. I hate being in debt but due to those circumstances, I was left with no choice but to rely on it. Good thing some of my online friends are able to help. The loan that I acquired was for the 1st birthday party of my daughter. https://peakd.com/hive-165757/@tpkidkai/a-hive-powered-1st-birthday-party-of-my-daughter Learn new philosophy and practice reading books again. I got fascinated with Stoicism start of this year due to a video from Youtube. Then read some articles and books related to it as discussed with @itsmeCguro I am reading The Little Book About Stoicism aside from that I already finished Daily Stoics and Telling the Truth to Troubled people by Dr. Backus. I also bought an e-book at Google playstore Unmasking Male Depression by Archibald Hart and Beyond the Good Advice by Pastor Tito Almadin. You may have noticed that I am into psychology books as my course when I stopped studying and entered to the corporate world was Clinical Psychology. I have plans to pursue it but not this year and maybe not in the next years after. 5 years I guess not really sure as our finances are still not in good shape. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/43621841-the-little-book-of-stoicism Overall these big wins are the ones that I am excited to share. Some small wins are walking for 3000 steps daily, knowing some of our neighbors and having a suki in the wetmarket. How about you what are the things that you had accomplished for the past 6 months so far? Thank you for reading my blog and hope you have a wonderful day ahead!

A Glimpse of the Province Life This happened on the weekend of February and since I don't have many pictures of the area I will be sharing a short story. Saturday morning, it was supposed to be a small walking exercise for us with my wife as we talked about eating at a nearby ( 20 mins walk carinderia ) in our place. https://www.google.com/search?q=carinderia&oq=carinderia&aqs=chrome..69i57.2912j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 As we started walking, as usual, we talk about our plans in life and possible steps that we need to do to improve our relationship and the future of our child which is normal for couples to talk about. While we were eating we heard a familiar sound calling us and as we search where it was we knew that it was Tatay Lando (April's father) calling her granddaughter. He was selling some of his harvested sweet potatoes in the area and the eatery where we are eating is one of his regulars. After some chit-chats, we decided to join Tatay in going to his sibling's place as it was a *"walking distance"* ( 15+ mins walk again) and we have talked about visiting them before but never had the chance as we do not know the way to get there from our place. In my almost 2 months of stay in the province, I am getting used to seeing pineapples and coconut trees that are within reach. What peeked on my attention are the mahogany trees that is surrounding our pathway. Though it was 7 or 8 already in the morning, heat from the sun isn't that hurtful to the skin most because the breeze coming from the wind is helping out in maintaining the coolness. We arrived at April's aunts' and uncles' place and immediately our daughter was kidnapped by them. It was expected as they are always waiting for us and asking April why there's no new video uploaded on Facebook relating to our child. For more than 2 hours we stayed and had talks with everyone until the sky gets dim and a few drops of rain started to fall. Before it gets heavy we bid goodbye and left the place and while walking the sun shows itself again making light into our paths. While we are walking I noticed that the coconuts in the area are not as tall as I was expecting. The usual trees that I saw back then were at least 2-story buildings or more but this one isn't that high and if I would try I cab climb it. Aaron mentioned that there were 2 variants of coconut trees planted before, the first one is the one that I am familiar with and the other is the one currently planted. The high ones were cut down to give way to such trees. I said that the reason why the trees are small is that the old trees cursed the land making the new breeds smaller. I forgot the reason why they were replaced btw as I was focused on justifying my claim that there's a curse in the area. When we arrived home, we took a small bite showered a little bit to remove some of the dirt that we accumulated along the way, and talk about how slow pacing our life is right now. Compared to how our life before near the metro area I realized that the place that we are in right now is a great place to start a small family. Without the gadgets and noises, folks can enjoy and pass their days enjoying the company of everyone and enjoying nature which we plan to do in the next few days as we will go on a picnic on my rest day .

Yesternight was a Blast! Weekends are something that I look forward to and as a corporate slave at night this is the only time that I can spend a good sleep with my family but not this Saturday as staff from Hiveph scheduled a webinar to introduce Hive and give some guidelines to the newbies that want to venture into the new platform. As the team has noticed in the past days, more Filipinos are joining Hive but leave after a few days/ months as either they find the platform complex or their content is not visible to others. The team understood the complexity as we had such hardships before as well and we want to at the very least have everyone joining be familiar with how the process goes. The team isn't expecting 100% absorption of the topics tackled but at the very least they had a glimpse of what's in it for them if they join Hive. The webinar was a 2 part series btw and we started at around 7:00 PM MNL time. The first part, was just some basic information on Hive, how to create a post, and suggestions for creating introductions plus the reward system. The 2nd was quite complex as we tackled some of the nitty-gritty stuff in Hive such as wallet, voting power, delegations, etc. This is the image from the first webinar, I don't have my camera on as I am shy. Nah, my camera wasn't available as I am using a desktop and my phone's charging plus my little one was already sleeping so extra lighting will wake her up for sure and I don't want that to happen as people may hear some baby crying while I am saying stuff. Why are we doing such webinars? The team believes in the talent of each one of the Filipinos in the blockchain but since they are not quite familiar with how everything goes new users/ old users are quite lost in the process and leave in the early game. Most of the staff members are from Steemit so somehow we already survived the bear market and the low earnings/non-existent times and we do not want everyone to experience such. Back then we are thrilled if we see a $0.05 cents upvoted and happy if we will hit a dollar amount in our content. Right now, though we still want some earnings the majority of staff will just focus on building the community itself, empowering Pinoys and trying to help the best that we can. ( WALANG PERA SA HIVE PH but we can give guidance and information so that you can become a better user here as long as you ask questions ). Onboarding Programs If you have noticed, staff always encouraged people to at least wait for the webinar to end before you make an account as we want the participants to be a part of the onboarding program that the team has. I myself is part of the onboarding team including some of the speakers on the first part of the webinar thus we want the new blood to be part of it. If you haven't created an account yet, you may want to send me a message through discord and we can talk about it. I may be able to entertain Pinoys for the onboarding program because I have such restrictions with other languages and the timezone difference. ( medyo mahirap magturo ng mga bagay-bagay pag nag English lalo na kung complex and idi discuss) Conclusion: Joining multiple income stream website is a must nowadays, hirap na ng buhay mahal pa ang bilihin. Thus it is a great blessing for everyone that we have Hive and also Read.cash as an added source of income for us in these trying times. Glad to have everyone on board and this is Tp if you have questions just drop by in the comment box.

How Did You Introduce Cryptocurrency to Family Members? According to data on cryptocurrency ownership in the Philippines surveying internet users it reflects that we ranked 10 out of 27 with the countries that are sampled. I can say that it is high compared to the previous years but still, some conservatives still do not believe in the concept of internet money. https://www.finder.com/ph/finder-cryptocurrency-adoption-index#:~:text=Cryptocurrency%20adoption%20statistics%20in%20the%20Philippines&text=The%20crypto%20ownership%20rate%20in,of%20the%20spectrum%20at%206%25. Faster Remittance Services Filipinos may be overseas or within the country find remitting money a hassle at times as they experience multiple issues, fees, and delays. In one of our experiences, as we are waiting for funds from someone outside the country, a family of ours used the default method which is bank transfer. Bank transfers usually take a day or two and sometimes get delayed if the transaction will fall on a holiday or weekend. I can attest to this one as I am a debt collector since I started working and holidays and weekends mess up my accounting books each time that I need to report the collected amounts that I have accumulated. As a way to lessen the fees and the downtime, I have asked my friend if there's a remittance center available that converts their money into crypto and luckily there's one in their place. Take note that I am just familiar with BTC, ETH, XRP, and Hive tokens and other cryptos are not on my radar. Since BTC takes some time to be received and ETH gas fees are sometimes astronomically high. I told my friend to just use XRP for the transaction. Still, they are hesitant to do such as there might be some errors entering the data, etc. but after sending the QR code to where it can be sent after a few seconds I got the money. Way faster than waiting for the clearing of funds via online banking. Now as his convenience every transaction that we are processing is via XRP as the cost per transfer is less than a dollar too! The downside of using Crypto As for me, the downside that I am seeing is the prone to human error especially if information needed is to be entered manually. Each transaction should be checked and double-checked as if it was sent successfully if it was erroneous it cannot be reverted again. ( I do remember sending some funds in error in the past and sad to say I wasn't able to retrieve them anymore. ) As a way to make everything error-free on my side, I do a small number of transactions first to make sure that funds are processed correctly then the big batch is sent after confirmation. Aside from that, since it is now being regulated identification cards should be given not following the KYC procedure will limit the transactions, especially withdrawals and in a country like ours you need to have a valid ID to get another valid ID, it is a hassle. Overall I think selling the benefits will help everyone in the faster adoption of crypto. Though it is good to say that they can invest money and it will grow in the future, some people are still skeptical about that and will proceed on just the old age investment paraphernalia. How about you how did you introduce cryptocurrency to some of your friends? My Wedding My Rules Currently, I am reading some of the posts from **CFO PESO SENSE** and there's a section wherein people are sending their stories anonymously since I try to stay away from commenting on the page I just decided to extend it on my blog post instead. https://www.facebook.com/pesosenseph/?__cft__[0]=AZUOSOp7kFpwa8bkMkmVIA2m6lcFqbkvwQefygpPrAIjvHYkTHh7rRi_xh7qRxCN3YHj5Yap9ndXgRtiHqA8jWU0U6RC0mmVKMSykC80O4nAwRCtygZMdxay2hiErTbrcZ0SfYen-E1lW8sulBk7tPHQ&__tn__=-UC%2CP-R In a gist, the letter sender is asking if she will proceed with the wedding or not as their plan wasn't followed and each time that they will talk about it her fiancé' will have some issues as the soon-to-be husband's family want other stuff to be added, etc. You can find the whole story here and this is my take on the current situation. https://www.facebook.com/pesosenseph/posts/pfbid0yJU2gj74cN3y7AYsYHcfKMJYsg7JAgSV6zdiSooUiHDjar3sGZNC5Wxv2LraktkYl It is your wedding and not theirs. Some may find it offensive especially the relatives but since they are the ones that will get wed it will be better if they are able to set some rules and stuff to follow. I do remember the time when there was a "***pagpupulong***" prior to our wedding. The "***pagpupulong***" was a part of the tradition wherein both parties involved will see each other and meet and talk about the wedding proper etc. When the elders met, my family and my wife just lay down what our plans are. We talked about getting married on the 29th of February and the location to where it will happen. In most cases, this is where the families will clash with each other as they have some rules and expectations that want to happen but we did not allow them to give suggestions. Technically we just answered some of the questions that they have in mind like why it is the 29th, if my fiancee is pregnant and where we will be getting the funds. In some parts of the country, it is the man's family that will be shouldering everything in the financial side, i believe that this belief isn't feasible for everyone thus when my wife talked it over to everyone we informed them that we are saving for this big day. Both of us are separating some of our monies to secure everything. If you want to get married, whatever the circumstances you will still get wed. This is the predicament for some, if other family members don't agree on the terms the event can be postponed or delayed. I believe that honoring parents is one of the key things that we should follow. However, when it comes to marriage it will be the decision of the two people that will get married. Exemption if you are not yet 23 as there's consent needed from the parents before doing such action. Making decisions is one way to determine if you can handle married life. If either one of you can be swayed by the provocation from relatives it isn't a good sign as people may find it easier for you to be controlled. Another story was when a relative of mine ( that never got married) shared what they she wants to happen and expecting some bands, flowers, and programs with the reception given the target budget that we have. Since they know how I speak I told her *"Ate kasal po namin ito, hindi dream wedding mo po"* and yes she stopped speaking after. If you do not have any plans, they will plan it for you. Never, ever say that you do not have any plans, etc. when you are stating about the wedding as some people will feed you will every idea that they can imagine to better the ceremony. They will also plan about the date where you should get wed and the location. Message for a young man planning to get married someday: Save up for your marriage while you are still young it helps! You may not be able to give a grand wedding to her just like the celebrities but saving money can help you leverage what your plans are. Also, it is okay not to shoulder everything ask for your fiancee and set realistic goals that can be achieved. Wedding is just 1 day prepare for the married life as it will be for a lifetime and lastly do not create debts.

Basics of Hive | HivePH Orientation and OCD Onboarding Webinar If you are a Filipino and you are new to Hive or even if you do not have an account yet in Hive we are inviting you to join the free webinar that we are going to lodge on July 09, 2022, via Google meets and Hiveph Discord server https://discord.gg/vnAwHgX3jx?event=992404565888618618 This will be a 3-hour webinar covering basic stuff in hive in the first half and then a deeper approach to the system. Why should you join the webinar? Hive is a complicated platform with some rules and restrictions imposed by other users. Because of that newbies and not so new, find it hard to be familiar with the process. User retention wise because of the technicalities, more often than not they tend to become not accustomed or not familiar with everything. What we want to happen is to have a smooth transition from being a new user and hopefully someone that can guide other people on the platform in the future too! Is it better to create an account right away and then learn Hive in the process or join first the some onboarding webinars before jumping in? To be honest, since I am an onboarder with Hiveph and OCD I would say that it will be best not to create an account yet with Hive especially if you are new. More often than not, some new users are having a hard time getting support from other communities and people right away in the platform and because support isn't available new users tend to ghost or leave the site at an early age. Technically, there are onboarding programs available for newbies with accounts that don't have one. The goal of the onboarder team if you will be joining the program is at least to support you not with the finances but with guidance on how to properly be accustomed to Hive. If you first join the onboarding webinar and decided to be part of the program it also have some benefits that you can reap along the way as getting support with the other communities that we are quite aware of. Engagement will still be a key, same with read.cash. So if you are interested in joining the webinar, feel free to send me a message or even comment on this post.

How Do You Handle Irate and Upset Customers? A Facebook post from BPO Secret Files on Facebook garnered my attention while I am scrolling my feed today. https://www.facebook.com/groups/213451777216966?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=558279416067532 The caption stated: You are in WFH set-up and you do not know the process and the customer is irate. You can find the video here : https://www.facebook.com/lei.tan.5245/videos/1430282470821853/ or the Tiktok video here https://www.tiktok.com/@calvinrussel19/video/7114064897872252187?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7034169979093321217 I had been in the service industry for almost a decade now and I can say that the frustration is real and those irate customers are the ones who make everything a mess. Photo by Icons8 Team on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/photos/r-enAOPw8Rs The first process that I handled was as a collections officer in a telephone company in the U.S. and oh boy! Aside from collecting overdue balances, we handle troubleshooting, cellphone activation, billing, and credit applications. I am not a native speaker and if I recall my first phone call was about billing and pro-rata charges. Since our training only covered the collections and payment arrangement stuff how can I answer that technical stuff? Racism is true too as some Americans hate speaking to a non-American representative. It got escalated and the caller sought a supervisor because I do not know what I am saying then. I saw how the support handled the call at ease and told myself I will be like that in the future. So how do we handle Irate Customers? **Drop the call once you feel that they are mad at you** I am kidding on that, do not ever do such actions as it can be tagged as call avoidance and you may get terminated if you got caught 😏. **Preparation will always help and being knowledgeable in the process will make it easier.** If I will compare the training back then versus training now virtually I can say that the latter is much easier as you can keep your notes beside you when taking in phone calls. I remembered that when we graduated from our training we were advised to shred all our notes as there shouldn't be any paper in the production area. Being keen on the details will help and knowing where to navigate is a must. Since customers will rely on your voice, sounding confident will matter too. The majority of us are not native speakers, but when you say words and blabber things that cannot be understood it creates confusion on the other side of the telephone line. **Try to sound cheerful if possible unless it is an escalation call** In most cases it works a good opening spiel with proper energy can set the mood of the customer. If you sound monotonous, chances are you might get a customer that gets frustrated with how you answer the call and they may feel that they are speaking with an IVR. Photo by Toa Heftiba on Unsplash https://unsplash.com/photos/_UIVmIBB3JU **Acknowledge, Empathize ( if needed ) and Respond Accordingly** Humans want to be acknowledged and they want someone to listen to their issues. This is why you are answering the phone call. You may not have the answer to every inquiry that you have but at the very least you try to help them the best that you can. If they don't want your help, it is okay, move forward and escalate the call. **It is not always about you** More often than not, upset folks who call, shout and become mad over the phone are the ones who experienced inconvenience previously. Try to resolve with the best that you can with all of the knowledge that you know and try to diffuse, over the years you will have your own way to pacify customers what worked for me is trying and assuring that I will be helping them.

To Wed or Not to Wed| Questions About Marriage Committing yourself to anything is hard. But committing yourself to someone for a lifetime takes a lot of effort not only on your side but on the other party as well. Today's post is inspired by the post of @Yen and @Eybyoung Why did you decide to get married? I am waiting for the right time to propose back then, though we are ready emotionally and spiritually finances wise we are not. We knew each other since 2012 but got into a romantic relationship in 2015. We are not getting any younger and as we talked about having our own family etc. we cannot start it yet because we are not yet married. Both of us are tied to our family, she is the breadwinner that handles the majority of bills in her household, and I am someone who supports the family too on the sidelines. I think one of the reasons why I pursue the plan of getting married is because her siblings already finished studying and they can go ahead and find work already. What did you think when you first saw him/her? There's no such thing as sparks, slow motion, and butterflies. I just saw her normally but as we started talking she has the qualities that I am looking for in a woman. God-fearing and loving Jesus Family-oriented Have long black hair. Can sing pretty well. The first 2 are my non-negotiables and the last 2 are optional. Too bad that she is in a long-term relationship at that time so I just treated her as a friend/ best friend during those times. I think it helped us in a way as when we are navigating each other's take in life when we are dating after a few years the transition was quite easy. We have some common traits and some extreme differences such as coldness and her warmth. When did you realize that you are in love? It just happens I guess, I told myself in our conversations that if I will be opening my heart once again and will try to pursue someone it will be her. At that time, her long-term relationship ended so I am free to court her. I just waited for her to move on before I lay down my intentions. Since we are officemates and somehow seatmates it was easy for her to notice that I am avoiding her welp, absence makes the heart grow to ponder perhaps? What do you have now that you didn't have before you met? Our baby? Kidding aside it is me being mature and accepting the emotions that I have. Some may say that I am a robot back then as I am not that expressive, I also didn't cry at our wedding btw and I think the time that I cried was when the pandemic started and the birth of our baby. I learned to be reliant on other people and to say I need help. Usually, this has been our problem when we are dating I tend to keep everything to myself wherein she wants to cooperate/collaborate. How has she/he changed your view of the world? She made me realize that I am capable of falling in love and giving love to other people. That I am enough and it is okay on showing my evil sides that no matter how broken I am there's a home/place that I can rest into. What do you miss when you're apart from each other? As I want to sound as cheesy as it is, I do not miss people. So when we are apart I think I will not miss her. But why should we become apart? I don't see any situation wherein I might or she might be doing such. I am working from home and if ever that I will be back, I might go ahead and sign some resignation papers. Vacation trips alone and with other people aren't feasible as I do not have friends etc. If I go elsewhere for sure they are included. So I am not really sure in what universe it might happen so possibility and even in simulation, it will not happen. Added tips that are not included in the questionnaire : Prepare for the married life, not the marriage ceremony shenanigans. Having a grand wedding is cool but having a successful marriage is fantastic and worth following. You fight the common enemy not you fight each other. If there's a difference sit down and be quiet for a while and ask how can we be better. It helps! Try to be open as you can, guys cannot be that much but let your woman know that you need her and give her support in her endeavors. So yeah that is all for me, I might post how I prepare for my wedding proposal in the future so if you want that here leave a comment. ( I will surely post that because I seldom create topics haha)

Tp's Personality Type | ISTP the Virtuoso. This is in response to Ayane's 30 Days writing challenge and as a way for me to create a post for today because I don't have any idea what I should be writing here now. https://read.cash/@Ayane-chan/30-days-writing-challenge-someone-i-miss-2649b147 On day 1 I will be answering the question: What is Your Personality? For starters, let's define personality and according to google search The combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character. I took a test back then relating to what could possibly my personality type is and I fall on the ISTP. ISTP stands for Introversion - Sensing - Thinking and Perceiving. So what is an ISTP personality then? https://www.16personalities.com/istp-personality They tend to have an individualistic mindset, pursuing goals without needing much external connection. They engage in life with inquisitiveness and personal skill, varying their approach as needed. The last time that I received a chat / send someone a personal message was 2 Saturdays ago and that was from the onboarding webinar that I did. Other than that, I am good with the small circle that I have with my family and friends. Though I am active in discord, more often than not I just stay active to lurk and do minimal tasks or conversations. I myself love trying different stuff and learning a lot of things from time to time. Which is connected to my personality type. As I am often curious about how things go especially in creating content here are some of the things that I studied and working on. SEO Optimization Article Writing Keyword Research Video Production ( Wondershare Filmora ) Podcasting ( Anchor.Fm) Credit Repair Research Email Marketing and Affiliate Marketing Youtube and other e-books are my friends especially when I am researching for materials that I can use as a reference. I love learning the nitty-gritty of stuff and how it works and troubleshooting it. This is also the reason why I got assigned some tasks in my corporate job back then even if it isn't my scope. One of the traits that I bank on is being cheerful and energetic. If you may have noticed my post and how I write, I tend to use words that are less formal and try the very least to connect with everyone. This is also the same with how I create my emails at work as I find templated emails a hassle. When it comes to situations, I am more of the relaxed type and do not act rashly at times I tend to focus on the logical application of everything first. Since I always use the logical approach in everything, I often get some remarks about being insensitive and just being quiet if anything will arise. Aside from that, I get easily bored with a task, right now I stopped recording on my podcast and it has been 2 months that I am in hiatus mode. Though I have some plans, I still think if I should continue on it or create a new one because a new idea comes up in my mind again. I am with extreme polar opposites. This is what my wife always told me when we are dating. If I am happy I am really happy and everything will radiate within me and if I am mad, I am as cold as I can be and do not talk for quite some time. I think this is all for me now. I just created this post to reach my quota because I am getting bored lately on writing stuff. I have other stuff to edit/record but tend to lax and roam around reading Manhwa lately. The Battle of Cornbeef Who's Your Bias? The previous week when we craved spaghetti I noticed that there was something missing from my stockpile of items bought in the local grocer. It was no other than corned beef, so I decided to walk to the nearest sari-sari store in our place 20 mins walk and were able to secure one, and o boy! It was one of the bad decisions that I did aside from not checking where I should transfer my funds when I am a newbie here. Because of that I decided to create a small list of brands that I know of and categorize them into tiers. This post is just for pun and if you find it offensive because your brand didn't make it to the top then I do not care about your feelings it is my opinion. ( Kidding ) Let the corned beef battle begins! Let's start with Delimondo, I am placing it on **A** Tier it should be an S Tier if I didn't see my bias brand but this round it is on A. Compared to the other brands listed, it is the most pricey, a 100g would cost around 100 PHP or $2.00. The stock isn't that enormous as well. Here in San Pablo when I checked the supermarkets I DID NOT SEE ONE! Each time that I will be checking the corned beef section in Ultimart, Shoppers Mart, Super8, etc. they do not have one available. This is also the brand that we are eating back then when we are in Biñan thus it is sad when we cannot buy it here. Fun fact there's a conspiracy theory that the reason why Delimondo brand is quite costly is due to some of its earnings are going to Juan Ponce Enrile's fountain of youth. So the more we buy, the more we extend his lifespan. ( Only Filipinos can relate to this joke) Jumping into Lucky 7, whoever gives the name Lucky 7 I do not agree with the name. Are we going to get lucky with the taste too? It is like a gacha system where the taste will depend on how lucky you are? Because if that is the case have terrible luck. This is the corned beef brand that I bought in the local store nearby. I thought it was a good brand because when I was buying the other day prior to the spaghetti cravings my neighbor also bought one. Tastewise it should be in the **F** tier but since the price isn't that high I will just put it in **E**. Purefoods Corned Beef is on **C** Tier, Back when we are young, we can only taste it during the Christmas season as it is the one included in the company's Christmas basket of my elder siblings. The taste is pretty decent and the strips are fine and easily chewed. But for its price, I can buy 1 delimondo corned beef already as their price is almost the same. They have other variants such as Chunkee corned beef which I prefer due to chunks of corned beef but taste-wise it is also bland. Swift Corned Beef Premium is on the **B** tier, the cost per can is cheap but the taste is okay. There's no notable distinction as usually we just include the corned beef in our spaghetti. Highlands Corned Beef - is the name advised it should be made premium because of the word "highlands". It was advertised too as good tasting so when I had the chance to buy one I bought one and the taste is so-so. For the price around 50+ - 60+, I would expect more to it. It isn't flavorful and the strips are kinda rough plus it has a smell that I do not appreciate. The packaging said it is made from Angus Beef, but from my memory, Angus beef isn't that smelly. So maybe it is just us? I do not know so I am placing it also in the **C** tier. CDO Karne Norte - this helped me a lot when I was still studying back then the price of 100g was just around 15PHP or a quarter of a dollar. I am not that of a picky eater before. It is just now that I become one as I am somehow able to buy what I craved for so this is on the **B** tier. Since Delimondo will not be back to our grocery bag anymore unless the management of supermarkets in San Pablo will notice my post we tried multiple brands and variants and found a good replacement which is CDO Home Style Corned Beef. It is flavorful and the meat is vibrant thanks to food coloring and it is also approved by our daughter. Price-wise, it is relatively cheap if my memory serves me right it cost around a dollar only. Thus I am also placing it on **A** Tier. Last and definitely not the least is the OG of all corned beef that I had tasted which is RODEO. If you are a 90s kid for sure you are well familiar with this brand and variant. I am placing it on the **S** tier because it is a legendary item and it is not available anymore in the market. One of my favorite dishes on this corned beef is corned beef soup. You just need to saute it on garlic and onion add potatoes as extenders and then the corned beef. Once it is cooked add cups of water. It is my favorite food back then as the soup itself can be used to become a flavor to the rice. We are a family of 8 so 1 small can fill the belly of everyone. Each time that it is the viand, we are required to eat together as a family because all of us wants it and if one is left behind there will be no stock available for him/her.

HivePH | Onboarding Collaboration with Get Rugged Community Friday 8:00 PM Manila Time the team from HivePh provided a short onboarding webinar to some users on the Get Rugged Community. https://peakd.com/@hiveph https://www.facebook.com/GetRuggedNFT/?ref=page_internal The webinar was done via their discord channel and was also streamed via Facebook Live. If you are interested to listen to the said webinar you can use the link here https://www.facebook.com/GetRuggedNFT/videos/727251081884553/ While we are having a staff discussion, we asked why it is important to onboard people in Hive and why it should be us instead of others and we come up with the following answers. Hive is too technical and the more that you dive deep, the more that you will know that it is hard to understand. Users tend to get lost along the way, and retention isn't that huge for starters. Pinoy kasi tayo, sino ba naman ang magtutulungan kungdi ang isat-isa diba? The webinar was facilitated by Adam the HivePH lead. He shared some insights about Hive in general and then followed by the new staff **Wittyzel** that discussed the communities revolving around Hive. Witty just celebrated her 2nd month as a user in Hive and still learning the ropes with everything, but as she was able to grasp how everything works at an early time, she is somehow a great addition to the staff. The **Arc** discussed some games that are in Hive blockchain and told about the other alternatives to earn money not only by creating content but by also playing. https://peakd.com/myhiveintro/@wittyzell/im-witz-and-im-new-here https://peakd.com/@arcgspy The rest of the staff were there including me answering some of the questions in chat as we want to ensure that the flow of discussion will not be interrupted. Since it is just a short crash course to Hive some of the questions that are too complex for the beginners are not addressed simply because we do not want them to feel exhausted and have too much information burden on their first day. We believe that the said information will be enough to go through the process and be able to use Hive without much complication. We mentioned that if they want to dig the rabbit hole further, try experiencing Hive first and then tap one of the staff for help if needed and we will be glad to be of help. So how can someone be successful in Hive? 1. their innate skill for creating content prior to coming to hive 2. Their onboarder 3. their motivation to refine number 1 while making earning a secondary priority 4. and willingness to be sociable #1 will be your pass to join the platform, users may drop by on your content from time to time if you are an amazing content creator. But being a superb one will not guarantee success it can be a good start though because still this is a social media account and you will need to be sociable to others. Even if you are not creating that much superb content, if you are a great communicator with others people will be supporting you along the way. #2 isn't that much of a requirement but having someone like an onboarder can give you a boost too. Hive has a referral system wherein if you join the blockchain using the link of a Hive user, that means the referrer is somehow liable for the growth of the said account. I mean as someone who gave the link to register to this platform they are the ones responsible for teaching the new user what is Hive and what to do etc. They can give you some delegations of Hive power to make sure that you will be able to interact properly in the blockchain as you will need to have some Hive staked in your wallet to do some transactions such as creating a post, commenting etc.  The onboarders are not paid but in every post that the new user created, they receive some part of the rewards after. Same with the affiliate stuff here in read.cash. What if I don't have any onboarder what should I do then? This is where the team assists, as we try to provide webinars and discussions on how they can be better in Hive. But we will never know who needed help until we are reached. The team tries to curate some posts and all but again until we got a message that someone needs some guidance that is the time that we jump in and help. There are times when we intervene but those are in a very few occasions such as possible issues / problems with the user that may arise. A good example is them being caught plagiarizing etc. Still interested in using Hive? I will suggest yes why not. If you haven't created one yet and want to join and have me as an onboarder you can send me a message either through **Facebook** or discord also for the folks that I onboarded I have some programs and stuff that I do backend so they somehow able to get some other rewards too if they are active in Hive https://www.facebook.com/tpkidkai
