It was written in the Bible in Acts 20:35 “You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus, It’s better to give than to receive.”
We can frequently hear these words: It’s better to give than to receive. To give; is to hand over to someone or something. While to receive means, be provided; presented with something from someone.
It’s very accurate that we feel fantastic and overwhelmed at the same time when we give something and share our blessings, especially for those who need help. But why do we need to be competent in giving our hands or help to others? Is it essential for us to be careful in choosing who and when we should offer our support?
The answer for me is definitely yes! Even though giving and sharing are significant as humans, we should still give our hands to those people who genuinely deserve it. We should know first the reasons and if the reasons are valid.
Some people can use and take advantage of our good hearts. They know that we give and share. They use different strategies and create lies to get your heart and make you choose but to give. Because of this, the idea of giving and sharing can tolerate them to depend on others. We can also handle and teach them not to work and earn, especially when it comes to money.
They only think for themselves, and the scary thing that will happen is that they will depend on you forever. We don’t help them; we’re not allowing them to change for good but worse. Instead of teaching them how to stand, we’re just giving them a reason to be lame at all times. When these things continue to happen, sharing and providing will be all worthless.
We should give hands to those people who deserve it. They are the ones who are deeply in pain and struggling so hard. They are the one who suffers for the sake of their family or others. They are the one who has a hard time in sustaining and surpassing the needs of the people they love, the one who is in deep sorrow; they are the one who truly deserves.
They are the ones who will appreciate our effort. We should extend our help to those whose reasons are valid and people who think to become better. These people are the one who respects you, your effort, and your time and never waste the help that you give. Aside from being grateful, they will also be inspired and wish to become givers themselves.
Giving is the most important thing ever in this world. It is the source of love and a great relationship with others. Providing opens doors of blessing and opportunities to express God’s love. Giving not only proves our love to God but is also a way to have God’s blessings flowing in and through in our lives. And it will all be worth it if we give it to people who deserve it.

I admit I seldom help people because I really consider it thoroughly if they need my help or not because there are people who just use us and they become dependent just because we always help them. Anyway, this is not a good attitude though for help should be given wholeheartedly. Maybe I'm just mean sometimes
