Holiday Season is Over, and I Will Surely Miss it!
First of all, I would like to greet everyone a prosperous and blessed New Year! I have been out for a while after the New Year celebration to spend time again with my family. Now that the holidays are over, we are going back to our usual lives again, wanting to achieve the different goals that we have set for the year. There are also many expectations and anticipated events that we are looking forward to happen.
A brief story from our New Year Celebration
This time, we actually wanted our celebration to be a lot simpler than Christmas since we had a small reunion that time, thus needing more servings and arrangements to be done to serve our visitors who will sgay here for three days.
Before the day of New Year's Eve, we only did a few preparations like contacting several food delivery and shopped for some food items that we wanted to fill in such as ingredients. Since there was lots of leftover ingredients from Christmas, we just used them to save some money and space. There are two desserts that we did that time, namely grahams and cathedral. It needs for both of them to get chilled for hours to hold their form well so it is a must to do them the day before.
In case you didn't know, Cathedral is called as such due to the colorful jellies resting atop the big creamy jelly that is similar to the stained glass found in some churches. And grahams are usually made with condensed milk and all-purpose cream, layered with crackers called as "grahams" topped with mango slices on top. Our version this time is to achieve am ice-cream like texture so we just used crushed grahams.
It's only the three of us at home, along with my mother and sister. We decided to invite our lone neighbor as she's only with her pets at the moment. It would be nice to share some blessings with her especially now that she lost her one and only companion in life last year.
We ate earlier at around 11 pm so that we can digest our food faster, while we plan to drink and talk later after the countdown. Our neighbor told us that she was selling firecrackers and lights and she have some left for her to light up. They are mostly fountains and sparklers that are safe enough to handle and we did light some. While we are jumping and making noise for the countdown, our video call on Messenger is on for us to talk live with our relatives at different places. It continued until we are drinking some wine and alcoholic drinks.
After the big feast, there's a lot of dishes for me to wash lol. We have to pack and rearrange every food so that they won't spoil in the fridge. They slept at approximately 2am, while we at the VC started talking and finishing our 1st adventure for the year lols. After that, I slept at around 3am.
During the day, there are lots of food that we reheated and that's our food for the whole day. I feel so full even if I eat only a little of each due to the numerous variety. And up until now, we have some more left, mostly the desserts in the fridge.
Why I will miss the Holiday Season?
I know for a fact that December is a big month for everyone, as most people do celebrate Christmas and New Year, and some events also occur such as weddings and birthdays. In our family, there are numerous weddings that happened within the month. And with every celebration, there's gonna be a family meeting. Family gatherings always make me happy and excited because they offer us an "escape from reality" by making us feel cared for, secure, safe, and entertained. I will never forget the laughter that we had this Christmas and the open forums that happens. We have to wait for another event and celebration like birthdays, or another 12 months for this.
And now, we're back to our usual selves
We aim for our goals, intentions, and new stuff that's coming for us. Some people are back to business while others will be back to school. In my case, I am planning to finish some unfinished requirements post-graduation and if ever, finally get to review for my board exam in May. If not, it can be July review for November exam this year. That timeframe may be long, but I feel that it'll pass like nothing. Meanwhile I gotta get busy with BCH stuff and crypto as well as with other interests that I wanted to pursue.

Giving Thanks to 2021: Opportunities Unlocked with the Help of BCH
2021 is such a fantastic year for me when it comes to the financial aspect that went into boom with the help of Bitcoin Cash. As a student who got busy finishing requirements during the entirety of 2020 up until the first half if 2021, I may have let some of the chances and opportunities that came by to just pass and ignored it. I have side hustles before crypto, but it got better as I escaped my comfort zone. Getting Introduced to the World of Cryptocurrencies
This all started when my relatives went into our place as we celebrated the New Year. While chilling out, my cousin talked about how he got a profit of around $7 in just one day with an initial investment of $20. Of course we were curious about how that happened and is it really possible? As someone who wants to get more knowledge and opportunity when it comes to money, I did ask him about it. My cousin told me that it was due to a simple buying of cryptocurrencies at their lows, and he sold them when they peaked in value. For me, that concepts is simple enough to understand, but I actually do not have any funds yet to use in an online crypto wallet.
The next day, I went out and used my $20 cash from savings to load it up into a digital wallet, then used them to buy and trade crypto. I only focused on four coins, namely BTC, ETH, XRP, and BCH. I did put $5 each for equal distribution. After a month of playing around with the market, I was able to get more than $30 return as the bull run started in the entirety of January. I then continued this strategy to increase my earnings until I was able to accrue around $100 in trading crypto.
Come what May, and here comes Bitcoin Cash
The timing couldn't be better for me as May was my birthday when I discovered noise and read.cash, as well as the beauty of Bitcoin Cash community and ecosystem. Before, I thought BCH was just a rip-off of BTC, but it's way better when it comes to the utilities and overall use that this coin brings. That time, all cryptos had a very good bull run and BCH was able to reach one of its all-time highs. Thankfully, I did take some profits before everything crashed so hard. I was able to use my BCH to buy some things that I need such as art supplies, contributions to our household expenses, as well as personal savings.
Along the way, I managed to get the things that I wanted and save up for myself for the future. But everything changed when a huge BCH news came in, that will bring another opportunity for BCH hodlers to grow their portfolio.
Investing in SmartBCH was a Smart Choice
At the end of August, many people were talking about SmartBCH which piqued the curiosity of the BCH community. Personally, I am not that excited or curious that time as I am not the kind of person who jumps immediately into something new or trending. The circle of friends that I have who came from Tsu/Noise told me that I should check out buying some EBEN , by sending a link of a guide via Messenger. It was @ Jane 's guide and I simply followed through it. I thought it was going to be complicated, but it was easy until the end. The difficult part that time was how much I am willing to spend to get some EBENs lol. I saw my BCH wallet having 0.2 BCH (worth $120 that time) and said to myself, "hey, I have no use for this at the moment, maybe I can spend half of it at 0.1 BCH hoping that it will grow in time."
I did invest and bought 500 EBEN with my 0.1 BCH, and feeling nervous as to what might happen next. As days passed by, the value just kept increasing until it reached an ATH of $3 per EBEN. This signalled me to take some profit while reinvesting the other half into other ventures, SmartBCH or not. During the 2nd week of September, I gained 2BCH or approx $1500 from an investment of $60! After this, a set of new DEXes and tokens appeared. As times passed though, I didn't try to explore more into them as I have heard of several rugpulls, and noticed the pump-and-dump schemes from other tokens. My risk aversion was pretty high and just stayed into a few but trusted projects. At the moment, I am glad that I am about to reach 5 BCH worth of assets accumulated from the past 4 months since I got involved with this amazing ecosystem.
Axie meets BCH: AxieBCH
I can't stress how this is another great life-changing opportunity for me financially, and socially. This has allowed me to get paid in BCH by playing Axie, which I never imagined before as the barrier of entry was high. This also got me into AxieBCH and GAME tokens which have great fundamentals, use cases, and opportunities for long-term growth that made me willing to invest into it. There are great future projects to come in 2022 as play-to-earn opportunities and expansion of the guild to accommodate more players and investors.
And also, as mentioned in my recent article, I got a lovely group of people who I am willing to talk with everyday like a family. They are like my happy pill since I got to meet them inside the dojo, as we have shared experiences and stories that resonate well with each other. I wish that this will continue for a long time.

Giving Thanks to 2021: Amazing Friendships
As the year comes to a close, it's time to relieve some amazing things and give thanks to those significant blessings that I received. This year has been a rough but better ride for me compared to 2020, to be honest. It all started kind of boring and slow, but the momentum picked up as the middle of the year came, then it becomes even better until the end.
One of the things that I am grateful for this year is gaining new friends and strengthening them. As an introverted person who enjoys his time doing the common loner stuff such as playing computer games, watching anime and youtube, playing with cats, and strolling alone outside, I never imagined that I would become as sociable as ever. While I don't go out as much outside, my social life is more active online and I put some attention into it.
First Quarter of the Year: Getting Involved
Since 2020 was the year of pandemic where physical interactions are limited, I am only able to talk with real-life friends online, and get some friends online as well. Before the year came in, I was able to establish some online friends with the help of Tsu/Display where I first started out. Then those friends who I became acquainted with made me connect with them even further. For example, there are some people who I personally asked about their personal life such as what their occupation is, where they live, and what made them use the platform. I am sure that most of us were attracted with the ability to earn while we are posting random content. But some of us realized that it's way more than that. I was able to find people who are willing to talk about life deeply, not just "how are you? " and simple questions like that.
2nd to 3rd Quarter of the year: Expansion and Getting Involved with BCH community
Some of the friends that I was able to connect with Tsu got involved deeper as we communicated more often through chats and some of them were willing to connect through video calls. My Filipino friends (three of us) did video call and it happened every weekends, usually Sundays when people have no work or studies to get busy with. I remembered it happened like 3 months, until we got busy with each other's tasks even during weekends.
The time came when I was invited by a Tsu friend to join noisecash. At first I was skeptical about the platform's legitimacy, but I got hooked after knowing how payments and BCH worked. As a crypto newbie that time I am amazed how you can earn free crypto just by posting content, and the rate of earning is even faster than Tsu. With that, we invited our close friends together in noise and stopped with Display because of how time consuming it can be, while you are chill with noise. As time passes by, it's already my 3rd month in the platform and I gained friends and more BCH as well. I am entertained by the content that people post everyday as well as the genuine interactions we have.
Then I discovered readcash as well as people are sharing their articles in their posts. Around August I started to create my own articles here and meeting new people that I could learn a lot, under different topics.
Final Quarter: Best Friends found in AxieBCH Dojo
This is probably the best community under BCH that I have been part of. The interest in a game has led us all members into becoming best friends online, and as of the time of writing this, I am in voice call my friends there. It's already a routine to check and call them daily, sharing not only our experiences in the game, but also sharing what our life experiences are. The coaches as well as Gramps were so generous that no negativity will survive, only encouragement and positivity for everyone. As we saw from the recent hot of Typhoon Odette, everyone was willing to give help to those affected scholars and we are still conncting with each other daily about their situations, of ever they have access to the Internet that time. My wish is that this relationship will last for years to come, and I know that the upcoming year will introduce more scholars and friends for us to get along with. Overall, I can say that this year has ended very well in a good note because of friendships which made my life better despite the isolation and seclusion at home.

Looking Back at the Days of Christmas Celebrations
I can't stress enough how excited and busy we were during these Holidays. Not only we have to prepare for the usual foods and arrangements at the dining, bed, and living rooms to accomodate the visitors, but also we have to mind all the gifts and events we need to get done for a feel-good Christmas. Our celebration wasn't that grand but we consider it special as we meet again together as relatives after the 2 years of isolation from one another due to the pandemic. Those three days of Christmas are memorable as days passed like there's a time skip.
1st Day: December 23rd
For this particular day, we had our first visotor at home who was our cousin along with her young son. They came in the afternoon where we immediately went into the groceries to buy additional things for the next day. We made the buko fruit salad as to ensure that it will be chilly when served in the Christmas Eve Dinner.
I slept quite late up until 4am because I cannot sleep that well. I am just excited probably lol. My friends at the AxieBCH Dojo are keeping me awake as we are in the VC. I feel sad for my friends who still don't have electricity and proper signal especially in this important times along with their family. They were just using data and charge coming from their local town center.
**2nd Day: December 24th**
This is the big day for us, as we anticipate the majority of our visitors to come over. Also, several food deliveries were scheduled to come this day for the Noche Buena. Our relatives came early morning at 9 am. They came from cities in Manila and the other relatives came from the province of Bulacan. They mentioned that they are going to have their breakfast in our place so we did prepare it beforehand.
I also had my breakfast and woke up nearly before they came, even if I slept late. The consequence of this was I slept again shortly after breakfast, and woke up at 1 pm already where they already finished their lunch. Thankfully they saved me some foods.
Then it's already afternoon time and we are having fun times in the living room. The younger ones are enjoying tge television while laughing, while the older ones like my aunts, mom, and cousins are having a "marites" talk about their lives, chismis, and so much more lol and they talk like they are from faraway places.
Then the nighttime came, and several food deliveries already made into our home. Some food will be prepared by us but majority of it will be from the deliveries. We don't want to stress ourselves cooking and preparing everything, it's a lot better to enjoy the night with us just eating.
At 10 pm, we were settled and ready to have our Noche Buena as 12 midnight hits. While waiting for the Christmas Eve dinner, we were having a pictorial of us from every corner of the home. It took an hour and it was full of laughter as stolen and blooper shots were made. I am their photographer!
Our mom had prepared a simple but fun game for everyone, and it's about getting that money! The rule is simple, you have to scoop up some bills using a spatula and put them on a plate while you are blindfolded. It's very simple, but funny when you see the players confident that they have scooped some, but they didn't actually!
After all of this, we finally had our Christmas Eve dinner and then we had some liquiors after. Most of us slept at 3am but I did at 6am.
Day 3: December 25th
The actual Christmas day, and we just basically continued what we did the previous day. We had a lot of food from last night that most of them were reheated. It's so satisfying to eat a lot of these foods that you will rarely have in daily life. The happiest time is during the night as we guzzle down the remaining drinks while laughing at things we are talking about. It's our nature to laugh like this as we are together, mostly being comedic.
Day 4: December 26th
At the final day of them staying here at home, it's time to say goodbye and this might be their last time to visit here for the year. We are not yet sure of we are gonna meet again for the New Year as it was decided that we are going to celebrate it individually in our respective homes.
I woke up late again at 12pm and it was lunch time already. They are aready packing their stuff and we talked to our neighbor who have a car to service our relatives in Manila. We paid them in generous amounts to ensure that our loved ones will be comfortable going back home. And there you have our Catto Tyrone waiting at the front door to say goodbye to our relatives.
Closing Thoughts
It's a long days full of fun and celebration, yet we are wanting more time together. This upcoming New Year we will probably not meet that's why we made this Christmas celebration grander than usual, and our means of celebrating together will be via video call during the countdown. We always say that there's next year, to remind ourselves that there will be more Christmas and New Years to come!

Where I Have Been this Past Week?
Another week has come to an end and started anew that I haven't been here for quite a long time. Plans, plans and more plans to write but nope, my inner self just wanted to do other things. Fortunately these stuff that I have been doing are productive and resulted into a fruitful, and I would consider this past week a full of blessings that are rather unexpected and I got a bit of luck as well. I was only able to publish one article and that was regarding my Saturday and Sunday experiences last week. Time goes so fast that I don't even keep track of what I was doing. And here's what's going on from Tuesday until yesterday.
Splinterlands hype - Chaos Legion
Since the release date of the new main card set of the game was Wednesday December 8, I did some liquidations in cards that I didn't use and sold them for a generous amount, then use that fund to buy the new cards. And then I got pretty lucky after getting two gold foil epic cards that are worth $160 combined from the daily chest and pack opening. I sold them again for the new cards and the cycle continues.
I kept a close watch on the prices like a trader does lol. Every single day, the prices are dipping like 10% which made me worried if I did buy some cards at the peak. Realizing this, I sold again other cards that I expect to dip in value then will rebuy again as the supplies dry up. It is actually the best opportunity to buy cards are more are printed in circulation. For now, I will just hodl my liquid funds until most of the cards hit near the bottom while I dollar cost average.
This happened for 5 days until the big news from gramps in AxieBCH Dojo announced something new.
Preparing for the GAME
It was first announced to us last time that we are going to get a huge surprise from our gramps in the AxieBCH Dojo. This was mentioned as an Enigma project. Enigmatic as it sounds, it made us curious what it is. Then this Saturday, he mentioned that this will be a one of a kind token, CRUT stands for Community, Reflection, Utility, and Transparency.
What's good with this token is that you can leave in your wallet and it will grow by itself. That's due to the tax fee fron different transactions. 3% goes to the owner, 1% to the utility basket, and 1% to the liquidity basket. This token has a lot of potential and use cases. What's good is that we scholars got our tokens and O am one of the MVPs of the guild which made me pretty happy! In my case, I got 10k tokens from gramps.
During the 24 hour fair sale lanch, that was really crazy since gramps was injecting liquidity at different intervals. This makes the price go lower so people can buy at a discount. Some people bought high unfortunately, but for us we were able to steal the deal. I bought another 5k GAME which makes my wallet hold 15k GAME.
Zombie Nights in the AxieBCH Dojo
And as usual, every night is a zombie mode for us in the Community VC in the dojo. We just had a crazy face reveal lols, anf you can see there people that might be familiar to you. Some of the even fell asleep while live LOL! There are so many topics discussed daily such as love life, rants, funny stories, and food. There's just too much to talk about!
Closing Thoughts
In general, time goes so fast that I can't even comprehend. At the time of writing, there's only 10 days left before Christmas and I can't wait what will happen in the upcoming days! How's my Monday and Weekend going?
This month feels weird to me to be honest, considering how it went from the very first day up until today. I was very optimistic in the first day because you know, Christmas hype is real! I am just as excited as you do and we all know the good stuff that's about to happen. Then suddenly, I woke up this weekend with a very bloody market that's way too sudden. It doesn't look like a dip anymore, but a crash. Up until now, tokens are dipping left and right, making you feel worried that it might continue before the time of Christmas. Anyway, here's what happened during the weekends and this Monday.
Saturday Caturday
Saturday is an amazing day of the weekend for me because it feels like I am at peace and more flexible. I can choose to rest if I wanted, or squeeze a bit more effort to reduce the tasks that I have to do for the following week. I also did a post in noise about my favorite catto Tyrone, because he did something that's way too cat-ish: hiding in boxes and small spaces.
We went into a grocery to buy some goods on a Saturday morning. After going back home we unpacked most of the things that we bought and arranged them in different storages. Tyrone is just chilling in his place in the living room, and he rushed into us once we came back. We were busy unpacking still, and noticed that Tyrone is out of sight. It seems like he's successful pranking and hiding from us again, and there's no hint of his presence. Until we lifted the paper bag lying on the floor, it felt heavy and moving. And there he is, trying his best to become a trickster catto.
Sunday Battle Day
Yesterday, our team Brigade Aphrodite in the AxieBCH Dojo started facing off against Brigade Artemis, a newly formed brigade. There are 10 players in one brigade and we squared off based on the number that each players are assigned. In our case, Aphrodite struggled a lot battling against them because of their strong DDP teams agains us who are mostly having AAP teams. Still, as the captain of the brigade, I told my teammates to just enjoy and have fun, win or lose. Right now (this Monday evening) there are still 3 players from each side who needs to finish their battles. And for the next round, we are going to face Brigade Ares starting tomorrow once all batlles finish. Fighting until the end!
Monday, a New Start for December
This is the first Monday of the month and I feel down again after seen the red market. This is very true especially when you don't have enough fiat to buy some lol. And it's the month of so many upcoming celebrations that we need to take some crypto for cash, and it happened at the wrong time. I really hope that it will recover before the week of Christmas comes.
What makes me excited is the news from our gramps in AxieBCH, he told us that it's not just Axie, but also ThetanBCH and PegaxyBCH! In the next days to come, all scholars will have the opportunity to get their teams in those new NFT games that will give everyone a great chance to earn more (in BCH). This has been in our talks last Saturday actually, and we were surprised that a new program like this will come unexpectedly.
So right now, all of my fears and doubts in regard with the crypto market has eased a bit, and our Christmas wish is to make the market green again! If ever these games come into our hands, I will share some of my experience.

Friday and Midnight Thoughts
*Last night, until early in the morning (around 3 am lol) we were busy talking in the AxieBCH Discord again, laughing like crazy because of a friend's crazy laughter. Imagine at that time we are still awake and laughing. Most of them have graveyard shifts and we're just hanging out. It's a great way to relax and chill out for a while. My sleep schedule has changed since then, and I often sleep at around 4 am in the morning, then wake up at 10-11 am. That means on average I get around 6-7 hours of sleep.*
After waking up at around 10 am, I did first some small tasks and errands then ate my breakfast. After having my breakfast, I did my Axie grind first in Arena where I have to consume 20 energies for SLP and MMR boost. Thankfully after getting into 0 energy, I did raise my rank into 1500, which means my average slp per win will be 12 instead of 9. I always struggled since the beginning of season 19 since my AAP team was nerfed so bad. It's a daily struggle to move up and facing strong teams like reptiles, plants, beasts, and birds. I hope that before the next payout, this will continue so that I can receive more BCH.
I finished all the energies at around noon time so I did rest for a bit and ate lunch. I went back to my room at 1 pm and was planning to finish the adventure.
Going back to my room, I did scroll and watched some YouTube videos first because I feel full. And then, I feel sleepy and took a nap first at 2pm. Aaand that nap became a pretty long sleep, waking up at 6pm! I always eat early dinner so I did have mine. I went back upstairs to my room to finish my adventure and it took me 30 minutes. Then I had my shower to freshen up a bit.
Our coach Nazko in AxieBCH decided that we will have a new set of scholars again for this day. At the moment, we have 80 scholars and if these 5 new ones will pass, we are now 85 and the remaining 5 more are the lucky ones to come since the scholarship program will stop for a while until February or March. Gramps OliCrypto will focus on improving our temas in the guild, build tournaments, and start reinvesting into the AxieBCH token and Liquidity Education program. The Liquidity Program is available for all scholars where they will be given a set of LP tokens for AxieBCH - BCH pairs. 50% will be available for Mistswap and 50% for TangoSwap. The condition for this is that the scholars are not allowed to convert and sell these LP tolens. They are only allowed to hold and gain profit in the interest coming fron the pool. It is also okay to add more and reinvest from this.
After the scholar test and interview, 5 people passed and will receive their teams for the next days. I am very happy for them and excited for the plants to ensue after this.
And It's Past Midnight
I had my midnight snack consisting of a simple sandwich and biscuits. It feels so good to eat at night and I don't know why. It's like you are savoring every bite of each and the time feels slow. Then I topped it off with a glass of milk.
Right now, I am talking with my friends again in the Discord voice chat while creating this article. Later, after publishing this, I will be playing Splinterlands and will finish the daily quests on my two accounts.

2nd Day of December: Planning Time
Time goes so fast that it's actually the 3rd day of December now here as of the time of writing, I am just fond of writing at night because I feel better and focused actually. For now, the excitement is there due to the upcoming events, but I have to set some plan in order to have a smooth sailing for the rest of the month.
Week 1: Planning Stage
For the first week of December, that would be up until the 7th. My plan is to just have an overview and analyze what will happen for the next weeks to come. Since I am planning to publish at least an article a day for the whole month, it is actually a gargantuan task for me since I am quite busy with other things everyday. I need to map out how to excecute everything not only from the articles, but also from the different stuff that I have to personally accomplish.
This week, it is expected that we have to face a tournament battle from our guild in AxieBCH. As a team captain, I jave to set and arrange a schedule woth others so that we can compete with each other. In addition, the Liquidity Education Program will be launched by our gramps where we will be given Liquidity Tokens that will be 50% in TangoSwap and 50% in Mistswap. This is the guild's way to give some passive income to the investors and guild players.
Another thing that I wanted to accomplish is to get back to my art vibe, like creating dome works that are related to Christmas. Hopefully there will be time for me to do so.
Week 2: Chaos Legion & Splinterlands
For December 8, it will be a very exciting day for all Splinterlands players as the new set of cards will be released, from the Chaos Legion Set. This will be the new set of packs after almost months of having no new cards that are available in the shop. For me, I will use this opportunity to get summoners and monsters to build my deck, to the point that I don't have to rent anymore. I am so stoked with everything!
Week 3: Preparations for Christmas
This week will be full of buying different food items, supplies, and gifts before the Christmas Eve and Day. It will also be the very hectic part of the month as there might be Christmas parties. Yet again, it was mentioned that we will be having a party within the AxieBCH Dojo. There might be another huge prize pool, or party games the everyone will celebrate. Oh, and foods and get-togethers will be all over the place so that's another opportunity to create some articles.
Week 4: Gearing up for 2022
Being the final week of the year and month, I would like to use those days to ponder and reflect about how this year went, and there's an idle time again to chill a bit before the big event goes. Another planning goes again for the next month and year to come.

December, Here We Go!
Here comes the awaited month of all, where Christmas parties, gift-giving, celebrations, and preparation for the new year becomes hectic. I know our excitement is through the roof due to all of these. With how fast days are coming by, I feel like it will just be history again and we're on 2022 already!
Early Morning, Starting it Right
I am so pleased with how the first day of this beautiful month has started. The first thing that we did early in the morning was to apply for a national ID in our local municipality. We woke up 8 am and then had a small breakfast. The municipal hall isn't that too far from us and it will only take one tricycle ride to go there.
Once we arrived in the venue, there was almost no other people waiting in line and we immediately had our turn. Previously, we attempted to have our national ID but the extremely long queue put us off and decided to take in in the future. It has paid off this time and we were able to finish it within 10 minutes.
After the successful application, we walked into the nearby McDonald's to order and takeout a meal. Since it's nearly lunch time and we haven't cooked yet, this is a better option for us. Once we're back at home, I ate and slept until late in the afternoon.
Raffle Draw, Like an Early Christmas Gift for the Lucky One!
Waking up in the afternoon evoked my excitement because it's the day for a lucky raffle draw in the AxieBCH Dojo. The winning prize is $150 and that's surely a generous amount. To join, one must be present in the Twitch livestream to be eligible once called.
The first draw was unlucky actually since he was not present in the stream. What a missed opportunity! Then the second draw was thankfully successful now as she was present in the stream and got the $150. And for fun, the scholars requested several spins to see how lucky they were. In the first dummy draw, my name appeared! Coach said that if the winner was not around, I will have the chance to win as my name was drawn haha. The stream continued where our coach is playing Axie until he unfortunately got a losing streak, and said goodbye to us.
Thankful for all the November Blessings
The start of the first week of November was really rough for me as I had problems with my computer amd productivity was halted. The second week was starting to get pretty interesting as we got our 2nd vaccine dose and had a three-day birthday celebration of my nephew's birthday. The third week was my luckiest as I did win the AxieBCH party games and got some nice pulls in the Splinterlands loot chests in a single day. Finally, the last week is just about settling down and preparing for December. Even if I was sluggish for that month, I did see a pretty good results still when it comes to my BCH accumulation. Hoping for at least 5 BCH before this year ends!
Looking Forward to a Successful and Happy Month!
I can't stress enough how excited I am for this month! There are lots of plans that I want to accomplish especially here with the articles, and I hope that I will be able to write in all the 31 days of the month. It's a great challenge that I will try my best to do so. In addition, there are several topics that I am willing to discuss knowing that the events for this month will be humongous. ________________________

Fulfilled Birthday, Filled Tummy! (Part 2)

*After the fun midnight, preparations and cooking was done early in the morning. As a zombie, I slept way too late that time at around 4am and woke up at 10am lol. I went downstairs to have a quick breakfast and noticed that my aunts and mother had already done most of the cooking. There was still a chance for me to contribute however, as I did the pork belly and arranged all the plating in the dining table.*
*At exactly lunch time, we invited one of our neighbors to eat in our place along with their two children to have some fun with our celebrant.*
Wall of Foodies!
You have been warned, as there are several food items presented below. Take at your own risk. If you ever crave or feel hungry, I feel bad for you. At the time of writing, ( 3 am) my stomach already want to take these and my hunger just gets worse and worse and worse...
**Pancit Bihon**
To begin with, here's bowl full of pancit bihon. Our recipe really puts emphasis on the toppings or ***sahog*** since this really helps give the noodles a good mouthfeel. Pork, veggies, and some fish balls were added on top and this makes every bite satisfying.
**Putok-Batok Pork Belly**
This was the only food that I was able to prepare because of sleeping late and waking up late... Sigh... At least I was able to contribute something.
This pork belly was cooked on a turbo broiler in order to quickly achieve the right crispiness, which is the main feature of a pork belly. After the photoshoot, we chopped it into tiny pieces to increase the amount of servings.
**Kakainin (Rice Cakes)**
This set of rice cakes were just delivered to our doorstep. It was pretty convenient to have three different kinds of them in one huge plate. The one on the top is called **Puto Pao** which contains an asado filling, topped with salted egg and cheese. The one on the lower left is **Biko,** a sticky rice cake that is sweet, with a hint of coconut milk in it. Finally, on the lower right we have the **Maja Blanca** which is made of a pastry that has a jelly-like consistency, topped with some corn bits and cheese.
**Super Jolly Spaghetti!**
I was shocked to see the spaghetti made by our aunt, because she literally covered the pasta with a lot of cheese and hotdogs! The Filipino-style spaghetti is often sweet and full of cheese that everyone loves.
**Nostalgic Pineapple Chocked with Hotdogs**
When I celebrated birthdays before as a kid, I saw in photos this kind of setup where hotdog on sticks was staked in a pineapple. Kiddie birthday parties often have these kind of setup, and I am glad to see it again.
**Bilao Full of Spicy Wings, Fish Fillet , Lumpia, and Chicken Cordon Bleu**
This is another one that came from a food catering service that was delivered, and it's soo good and worth! There's too much of them that we had lots of leftovers until the next day.
**Refreshing fruits as Dessert**
Here's an arrangement of watermelons and melon to give some color to the table, as well as to give some refreshment after eating. I am addicted to both and can potentially finish them in one sitting!
And the Party's Over...
Since our relatives stayed overnight for two days, the party did last up until nighttime again, where the usual eating, drinking, and chatting happened. But compared to the previous day, we slept early ( and I didn't of course) since I was telling what happened to my friends in AxieBCH Dojo Zombie Club.
In the following day, our relatives departed our place at around 2pm, and they sure had a great time throuhout their stay. It feels really quick to be honest, but that took 3 days and 2 nights of celebration. After the celebration, we had an agreement that they will come here again for Christmas, and the excitement is up in the air!

Anticipation of a Celebration (Part 1)
Waaaah, it's a busy month and it's about to end in pretty much few days left. I wanted to share one of my highlights this month which happened two weeks ago. This was really a great moment for our family and relatives as we got to get along again after almost two years of not meeting together due to the pandemic. The event was the 7th birthday of my cousin's son (essentially my nephew) and it was held last 11th of November.
Onboarding the Visitors
Our family and relatives had a talk days before the event how are they going here in our place. The reason why they went into our place was not because of the accesibility ( they live several cities before us) but rather our place is well-suited for the space of this. One of our relatives actually has a larger space than us but due to them being senior citizens, they decided to hold off any celebrations in their place since they are at higher risk for covid even if both of them and the visitors were already fully vaccinated.
We have a neighbor who offers carpooling services and we decided to use their car for onboarding our visitors from their respective homes to our place. This way, the exposure to covid from public transportation is minimized as well. It was November 10 and they went in early to prepare for the next day, as well as to prolong their stay to have more bonding time.
Day of Preparation
After they got into our home, we provided them their special rooms as they will be sleeping here for 2 days. My room is basically mine lol, only my parents and sister's room got some occupancy including the guest room downstairs because their rooms are larger actually haha.
In the mid-afternoon we went into the nearest grocery to buy some good stuff like liquiors, snacks, and some extras for the next day. Our fridge and countertop was full of food and my peaceful mind was tempted to get some. We had a dinner after that grocery, and I can still remember that we had a Sinigang na Baboy that's good for 9 people!
**Setting up the Party Ornaments**
We just used a couple of decorative balloons as well as some wall stickers which we got from Shopee. The balloons were a pain to set in the table because it just falls off, and that took several times before it stood by itself.
**Midnight Snacks and Drinks**
This is always my favorite part every gatherings and parties, which is the drinking and chatting time, especially during at night. I am not fond of drinking too much alcohol and I only drink those that are not too strong, or if it tastes good. This midnight was really special because of the long talk that we had after a year of not physically meeting together. Being together physically is just leagues different compared to talking online.
Excited for Tomorrow!
We had our sleep pretty late at night at around 2 am already, and we still have to do preparations early in the morning! I personally did not feel sleeping after the light went off, but once my drowsiness kicked in, I was able to sleep soundly. The next day will require a lot of work in the morning as we have to cook some of the food. To minimize the work and mess, some are anticipated to come from food delivery services.

Weekend Party: Fun Times and a Lucky Day!
I can't stress enough how busy I was last week that I missed several days here again... damn. But that was finally done amd I can focus back on being active here again just like the previous times. All of those busy-ness has been relieved after having a great time with our friends in the **AxieBCH Dojo!**
Several days ago, there was an announcement from our coaches that we will have a set of minigames that's going to be held in the 20th of November. I mentioned in my Mid-November article that I was looking forward to events like this, and the excitement was in the air!
Caturday Turned Into Party Day!
We all know (or some do) that Saturday is a Caturday where we celebrate the special day of our cattos. And to coincide with that is the AxieBCH Dojo mini-games. It started around 8pm PH time and was expected to finish in 11pm. There are four different levels/ rounds that will eliminate players until the Top 4 players are left. These rounds are the following:
**25 items Elimination Exam**
The first round is a beast, because it does feel like you are taking an online exam from classes lol. The questions revolve around BCH, AxieBCH Dojo, and Axie Infinity such as " Who are the founders of the AxieBCH Dojo?"- along those lines. These are difficult questions and will test your knowledge about the stuffs above. There were 29 people who passed out of almost 40 participants.
**Game of Scribbles and Guesses**
The next game is about creating scribbles and guessing based on the words that the scribbler was presented. The one who gets the guess right will gain the most points. There were three rooms that are headed by our three coaches.
In my case, I really laughed when I was about to draw "shampoo" and I drew a bottle. As a hint, I wrote the words "Palmolive" after the bottle and the guessers did write Palmolive instead of shampoo! 😹
After this round, 16 players will proceed to the most fun game yet lol.
**Gaartic Phone Misrepresentations**
The next game is about drawing. All players will have to draw in the first round with anything they wanted for a long amount of time. This game had 16 rounds since there are 16 members who drew their own. After the initial drawings, these will be shown to the next players and they have to draw what they see as exact as they could. And that's where the fun begins!
As the orginal drawing gets passed on, there will be major changes as some people get troubled by the time ticking so fast that they can't draw properly. Also, if the original is difficult to replicate, then the next player will most likely mess it up. In my case, I drew a catto and the final 16th drawing turned into a blue Snowman. 😹

**The Last Stand: Ticking Word Bomb!**
Due to my long play time, I am nervous that my phone will shut down before the game ends. In this game, 11 players have to compete for the Top 4. The rules of this game is simple : The bomb shows a series of letters that you need to connect and fill to make a word. For example, you can see below the letters **OR.** To make a word, you can use it this way**: BefORe, TailOR, ORnate.** If you didn't submit any as your turn comes, the bomb will explode and you only have 3 lives to hold on. The one with the most lives will win in the end, and the 4 last man standing will get their place.
3 of our coaches are in the game and they did eliminate themselves as they are just the facilitators. The challenge in this game is that you might get mental blocked or too nervous that you can't think properly haha.
Results and Winners!
I was shocked and breathing heavily after the event, because the final game was really intense! You can feel the pressure that a single mistake will cost you, and it's really difficult especially the set of letters left are hard to use.
After the game our coach announced the 4 winners and I am all happy for everyone, winner or not. The winner gets 8000 $AXIEBCH, 2nd place gets $4000 AXIEBCH, and the 3rd/4th gets 1500 $AXIEBCH. We all know that these games really did make us laugh endlessly and that's enough even if there was no price incentives. They are just a bonus to be honest, what's important was the fun that we had that night.
**After Party: Another Lucky Pulls!**
When the game finished, we had a small talk on the Voice Chat with LoL, Clockwork, @fantagiraand @bmjc98 All of us were laughing with the turn of events, and can't speak well properly .It was already past 12 am and we're supposed to sleep, but no, we're zombies!
After that I managed to sneak into another blockchain game I am playing- Splinterlands and here I am plaing two accounts. The first one got a Gold Foil rare card that's worth $19 at the time and another one is a Legendary that's almost the same price at $38 total. Combined with my AXIEBCH winnings I got $80 in a day alone. It was a really lucky day for me! I guess that's to recoup my losses and unluckiness in the arena matches. After I got the 8000 AxieBCH, I staked them immediately into the Mistswap LP to gain more passive income.
**After-Party Thoughts**
We were having some conversations that these games might happen again sometime, especially that the Christmas party is on the way. With so many rewarding things to come like the $50 spin-the-wheel, minigames, hoodies, and Christmas Party event, I am sure that every members of the AxieBCH Dojo will love it! In our case we plan to have a game later this night just like what we did, and can't wait to see how it goes!

It's Mid-November, and What's Next?
Last week was truly a busy week, but that busyness is enjoyable and fruitful because it was full of celebrations and get-together from our family. That was almost 4 days full of jam-packed activities, and I took that opportunity to recharge and rest a bit. As you have noticed, I haven't been so active here lately, and I wish to spend more time but I prioritized the rare opportunity to bond with extended family for almost a year of not being together. For now, I would like to reflect a bit on the things that I personally anticipate before the month ends.
Had my 2nd Dose Yesterday
It was around 12pm that we went out to our local vaccination site. Thankfully there are not much traffic and people so we were able to get our turn quickly. After the vaccination, we went into the nearest Puregold to have some grocery shopping. That feels like years ago when me and my mom went out together. Usually we only do shop in online , or on our local markets. We did buy lots of snacks and supply that are good until the month ends. Thankfully we didn't experience anything bad, we had Pfizer as our vaccine.
Excited for the NFT Games that I Play
This month is just the beginning for AxieBCH and Splinterlands. In Axie, a new season has just begun and it caused a lot of frustrations from the players. Hopefully everything will get sorted out as the season goes on. Also, there have been exciting news that came from our coaches that there will be mini-games and giveaways. For example, a bring-me game requires microphone for players to guess something and speak about it (as far as I know). There will be around 15,000 AxieBCH worth of prize pool that will be given to the 3 winners. Next, the hoodies and monthly roulette will come several weeks from now, and all the scholars are excited for this!
For Splinterlands, what excites me is the upcoming Chaos Legion packs presale is about to end until next week, and for December those packs can be opened. This is getting me pumped because lots of new cards will change the game, and for sure card prizes are gonna drop as the supply increases. I want to buy more to level up my deck. December is going to be huge and can't wait already!
Preperations for Christmas
We usually prepare in advance during the final weeks of November so that we can lie low instead of cramming before the day of Christmas comes. Decorations, parties, gatherings, and activities need some planning in order for them to go well. We aren't doing big celebrations that's why it's important to make everything count during these special times.
Accrue More BCH
Of course, this is already a given. Due to my inactivity in both BCH platforms as well as in SmartBCH developments, I am sure I missed a lot. Hopefully AxieBCH earnings and the passive income I make from SmartBCH will be enough. I will try my best to be more active here by writing more articles and reading yours. I think 15 articles this month is fairly achievable, as long as there's no more interruptions that happen.

Monochromes And Glazing With Color
Thursday means it's another time for some throwback as well as going back from my journey in arts from the previous months. This time it's all about creating works in black and white, and a bonus colorized piece coming from monochromatic beginnings! I enjoy working in any kind of art mediums and each one helped me improve on the basics as I go along with practice.
Monochromes from Charcoal and Airbrushing: Roses and a Jaguar
**First Rose**
Ever since I stumbled with a piece of charcoal pencil from my old cabinet, it made me curious on how to use it properly and that resulted from my first serious attempt in producing a realistic result. It was hard at first, but that prompted me to do better since it gave me a motivation and expectations with the kind of results that I can create. Charcoal is one of my favorite mediums to work with, and for a good reason. It's very easy to correct mistakes especially if you are using the right materials. These materials are also the cheapest that you can possibly start with, and you can finish works quickly since you are not dealing with color. Working with black and white means that it will teach us properly to see the correct values and shading. Most people would say that colors are beautiful in any artwork which I agree, but without proper values those colors will look flat if realistic results are desired.
For the rose above, it made me focused on working with proper values and shading. I was intimidated with the complexity of the shading and there's the self-talk that tells me, " this is going to be hard, don't do this". Instead of listening to that negative mind, my hands moved instead and slowly but surely filling out any details and values until it looks right. At first, everything looks very dull due to the "ugly stages" of any artwork. We must be patient and finish what we started to get the results we want. It's like filling pieces of puzzle which starts our from a tiny part, until everything is put into place.
**Acrylic and Airbrush Rose**
Next, I tried to attempt the black and white version of another rose using acrylics. To begin with, I used airbrush to fill the background and simulate that bokeh effect which is one of my favorites in any photo or artwork. Once the background is all good, I started sketching out the rose using a white charcoal pencil in the canvas. It's easy to erase the charcoal in case there's undesired lines, and it will be easier when starting to paint with acrylic.
I saw from different tutorials that some painters use the Grisaille method which often starts with the black and white base to establish the values, then they will glaze over it. I will talk about it in a few moments.
**Wire-y Jaguar Lol**
Now, this is probably the greatest challenge for me for charcoal, since it's all about doing fur! Fur is hard to do especially for me who doesn't have much experience in doing it, and this is my chance to get out of that comfort zone. I decided to do fur first in charcoal beacause I know mistakes will be corrected easily, and color is out of the way. To be honest, the struggle of simulating realistic fur for me is following the correct direction of a patch of it. After seeing the results, I am feeling cringed by the wire-y fur haha. It's like they were forced to be placed in those locations. But I like the way the eyes, ears, and the black spots looked for me.
Glazing "Rose From the Depths"
Now, this is the same rose that I did from the acrylic and airbrushing from monochrome above. Once the values and shading are in place, it's easy to put colors in place by glazing. What I did to put the glaze of color is by mixing more water in the acrylic to thin it down, then slowly putting the color in the proper place. For this only blue, red, and some aqua green were mixed in. If the initial part of this took hours to finish, this step only took around 30 mins or so.
I would title this one as " Rose From the Depths" as it looks like the rose is floating in the ocean or galaxy, whatever suits or imagination haha.

Wishing to See Them In Person, Soon
A lingering thought has entered my mind recently, and it's about meeting friends that we have met online. Since the start of the pandemic, we surely have longed for physical human connection. I am an introverted person but even the extreme introverts wants some kind of connection too. Within the year of the pandemic, I've discovered several people online that are great friends that feels like we could be a real-life friends too. Even with the geographical location as a barrier, technology made us connected more than ever.
It All Started With Socials
Way back in the 3rd Quarter of 2020, I was searching for a way to earn some money, and if you have closely followed my income sources journey, you'll see that I joined Tsu/Display social that time. I feel a bit lonely in the beginning because I don't find anyone to interact with. After a month, I saw people visiting me and I try to reply to them. One of them was a very special visitor as she is one of my favorite content creators of the platform, and that is Heather, the queen of owls. She saw one of my works before and encouraged me to keep working on it. It never made me feel so confident and proud as someone from overseas recognized me, even if I was just anonymous without any face there at all.
Then the next months I saw other fellow Filipinos who are great users too. Some of them are present here creating articles and some in noise. I also had a great group of people who we consider ourselves as #AnimeLoversUnite since we all had a common love for anime. And there are some people that I had great connections with are from overseas, from countries like Canada, Italy, Japan, UK, and more. I really want to visit their individual places and have a tour with them, eat some food that is native to that place and have a long talk that's well-fitting after coming from miles away.
Deeply Connecting With Each Other
Ever since the group of #AnimeLoversUnite has formed with the four of us fellow Pinoys being active and forming a chat group together, we decided to have a video call. That was really memorable since it happened the way everyone didn't expect. We were able to see and hear each other while talking about life in general during the lockdowns. It took us like 9pm-1am talking and it's pretty long! Because of having so much fun, time just passed by without us even knowing what happened. Every weekend we try to have a call to have a good time. Going Further with the BCH Community
In the middle of this year, I was introduced into the BCH community and ecosystem by a friend who reported to me that my content was stolen from Display and posted it in another earning social platform. That made me curious and prompted me to check the place which was noise. From there I tried to join in due to my curiosity and the thief was apprehended by users.
Now it's almost 6 months from where I started in noise and from there, numerous developments happened. Aside from gaining new connections and BCH, I was able to delve deeper into the BCH ecosystem such as creating articles here, and being able to jump right into SmartBCH with the help of amazing people who are willing to share their knowledge so that even the very beginners can try. We both earn money and new friendships that helps our overall well-being while in confinement during the pandemic. AxieBCH: A Community That's Full of Surprises!
And in the middle of October, I stumbled upon into the best Discord community that came from the recommendations of my BCH friends. You can see from my previous article that cattos, froge, and hoomans banded together in this wonderful guild, and I see another batch of them coming in the next few days. Right now there are 400+ players in the guild and 50+ scholars already, and in the end of the year it's expected that there will be 100 scholars. In the end of 2022, 1000 scholars will have a chance! Every first day of the month, the coaches are giving a $50 monthly raffle for scholars. Ate @bmjc98 won that very first raffle and we all believe that she deserved that kind of luck because of her hardwork, persistence, and willingness to help within the guild. Not to mention her articles about AxieBCH prompted me to join this amazing guild.
We are having our hoodies offered by the amazing gramps of the guild, another generous offer by them! Also, the scholars are given lots of opportunities and care especially if they are struggling, or when they excel. Coaches replace their team for the better, and other scholars are willing to help.
In our case, we often chat in the main room of the Dojo, and in the nighttime we are live in the Community VC for the voicecalls, and the live coaching from other scholars. Aside from the Axie knowledge and skills that we get, it's also fun to communicate and talk together about daily life. And now, look at the main chat, and you'll get lost from the depths of the messages flooding due to the number of active people haha.

Blue-Themed Throwback!
Hello guys! Time for another series from my art journey from the previous year. Now I am scrolling back from my gallery vault that contains the works that I did. This was done like March-April this year. This is where I tried to push and challenge myself a lot. It actually took me almost 2-3 weeks to finish everything here. From planning, execution, and of course taking some breaks it can take a while. And I tried to work on an 11"x14" size paper and fit all 4 different kinds of work that has any blue color in it. I really am into anything having a blue shade in it since that affects my mood and perception in a positive way. Now let's get started!
Brandishing the Set of Pencils
First I had one of my favorite Fairy Tail characters that was introduced in the last season, Brandish μ. I saw a scene from the anime where she was up-close and there's the blue skies as a background so I took that as a reference. I was only using 12 set of colored pencils here and it was really challenging to blend the hues that fits her clothing, hair, and skin tone. Even if there were difficulties doing it, I still made it. And below is the final result!
I observed that there are some problems with the shading as I went too dark with some of the shadows. Working with a small set of colors as a challenge feels satisfying as you try to finish it. And there were some smudges with the yellows on her skin. Better use a paper underneath your hands, hooman!
The Complement to my Blues
In primary school, we were mostly taught about the color theory and color wheel. And we knew that the opposite of blue is orange and they are called as complementary due to the fact that these hues create great contrast when paired together.
With this, I thought of a simple subject, and the fruit (or color) itself was chosen. Sometimes it's great to work on simpler things when it comes to art so that we can learn the basics. For the background I chose a teal-aqua and deep blue stripes which reminds me of a wall pattern. Then the orange was placed like it was floating in space, surrounded with the color that complements it. I tried my best to make the orange to look realistic as possible, though I personally think it can be improved.
Midnight Ateng
Next we have the grumpiest catto in the universe, Her Grumpiness Ateng! The idea here is to make her look like looking at you during nightime with that creepy stare while shrouded in the dark. Her presence seems to attract some stars and fireflies though.
With this I have tried to airbrush the background and the circular lights so that it would be less work for me. I masked out Ateng to not let her get some sky colors. Then I used colored pencils to fill her out. This is my 1st attempt with creating fur and animals so here's another stepping stone for learning. Instead of using her calico color, it was decided to make her look as dark as possible with the hint of mysterious aura within.
Time for Display
After a very challenging weeks of pushing myself to finish this project of mine, I felt satisfied and proud of myself. I was struggling with Ateng and there's the lingering thoughts of not finishing her because of that fur.
You can see that the paper is still taped to the easel and it's colored blue as well. :)
Once I finished everything, I thought of ways on how to display it in my room. I can't find any way how to do that. Instead, I just protected the work with a plastic cover then pasted it on a wall using a special type of sticky clay that will not destroy the paint of the wall.
Even my room's wall is colored blue and it's obvious how much I like this color. Sometimes Ateng gives me creeps especially in the dark!

After Waiting for Months, It's Finally Here...
I have been MIA here for days again, because I was taking a break and some rest due to our recent vaccination. We waited months for the preferred brands of vaccine to come in our place. It's not because we are choosy, but we only want to be future-proof when it comes to travelling out of the country. And thankfully, that wait was well worth it, so we took the chance when it was readily available in our municipality. We would say that was the perfect time to get our shots.
Hesitation at First
We all know that many people are hesitant to take the vaccines available in their respective places primarily due to the different rumors and stories that people are having terrible side effects after taking their jab. From our extended family members who are working outside, they are required to get vaccinated or else they won't be allowed to work. My cousin who was working in an office heard the news from her officemate that her mom passed out and died after taking the shot, after coming back home. They were shocked because this mother did not have any complications or health history that would lead to this. And there are some news in socials that these terrible incidents have happened too. This led into uncertainties where we are not feeling well for being vaccinated.
I have four aunts that took their respective shots too and they all live in the city. They all have health histories such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and their conditions are below average since they are seniors already. Two of then took Janssen and the other two got Pfizer. The one who got Janssen was perfectly fine without side effects while the other got gasping for breath and being nauseated hours after the jab. Thankfully she had a medication ready for it if ever she feels those maladies. The aunts who get Pfizer was perfectly fine too. With this we opted for Pfizer as my dad from overseas got it and never had any problems.
It seems mandatory for now
There was a time that my mom along with her friend went outside for groceries, as they often do every weekends. Feeling hungry, they had a short break inside a fast food chain to eat and drink. To their dismay, the guard told them that they can't dine in if they can't present a vaccination card telling they got all doses. This was also reported in the news that those people who got fully vaccinated will get discounts and some dine-in incentives which can potentially attract or force people to get their doses.
Now, my nephew will have his birthday on the 11th of November. This will be held in my aunt's home and they are requiring all people who will visit to get vaccinated. That's because they are seniors and have co-morbidities, so it's better to have an extra protection. This has prompted us to get our shot, but no Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra is available for low priority people in our municipality. We were planning to actually go into other places that have these vaccines, but is it worth the risk?
Before and After the Vacc Day
It was Sunday morning and my mom got a text from her friend who lives within our street. This friend told her that the listing for Pfizer vaccine is available and she needs to contact the barangay official for our names to get listed. We were just talking the day before about how to get our shot as we were desperate to go into other places where the preferred vaccine is available. It's like "hulog ng langit"(a blessing) when we heard of this opportunity.
So we had our names listed there and in the evening we got another message saying that we are eligible for the vaccine at 12pm-1pm schedule this Monday. The venue is in a nearby mall in our place that needs 2 rides to get there. Our neighbor who was planning to get their shot offered us to carpool with them. It was raining hard that time and it's really helpful for someone to drive us there.
Once we got into the site, we fall into the queue and it took an hour for us to finish. The number of people is quite high this time due to the reason they might be waiting for this vaccine too. Thankfully it all went well and we didn't have any side effects or flu as we took paracetamol before having the jab. It mad me sleepy the whole afternoon, and yesterday I took more time to rest and relax to prevent any problems.

Reminiscing the Good Old Sundays
I consider Sunday as a very special day for the week, because it holds so much significance for me and our family. Oftentimes, we have our celebrations and gatherings this day or sometimes it can be as simple as having bonding time at home with the family. But due to the pandemic, most of these activities were halted and I miss how our Sunday goes pre-pandemic. Below, I enlist all the activities that we are doing pre-pandemic and the current Sundays, and our plan after everything goes back to normal state again.
Pre-Pandemic Times
Early in the morning at 6 am, we wake up to eat our breakfast. Then at 8am it's time for us to go out. The church that is a ride away from us will start the mass at 9am so it's better to get in early in order to get a seat, as we find that it becomes crowded the later it goes. After having the mass, we have two choices: go into an available celebration where we are invited such as family gatherings or neighborhood events, or proceed to a nearby mall and park to have our bonding time. For "regular" Sundays we have a pretty long day at the mall where we can have our lunch and then go shopping in the whole afternoon.
**Shopping Spree**
I personally do not like shopping for a long time because I feel bored and exhausted just thinking about how long it takes for my mom and sister to do their shop lists. Sometimes I just sit and stay in a particular spot while they do their things inside the department store lol. If it's groceries, I am fine with that since I can at least suggest for the food that we can take. Before we get home, we usually have our snacks and possibly dinner so that once we get home, it's time for rest and relaxation.
**Special Occasions**
There are times that we go directly into an occasion after the mass, especially if it's from our relatives living several cities away. It will take one to two hours of ride before we can reach them. Since it's a special occasion, foodies and goodies are expected. This is more exciting compared to the shopping honestly haha. Aside from the good free food that we eat prepared by the relatives, we get the chance to see them again after several weeks or months ago since we last met. My cousins are like best friends since we can relate to the topics that we are discussing. We play videogames and some party games to pass the time, alongside having a great talk that lasts for hours. I wished that Monday was a holiday those times so that we can sleep over the house that we're visiting.
During Pandemic
As the pandemic arrived, our Sunday routines have changed a lot, but the idea is still the same. Instead of going out to celebrate mass, we can just attend an online mass, and have the food that we want delivered to our doorstep. And in the afternoon or night time, we just conduct a videocall that includes most of the extended family members. We can still have fun while being safe in our homes.
**Hoping for the Old Times Again**
Now that the cases are declining until it reaches zero, I hope that more people get vaccinated so that we can worry less about the severe effects and have herd immunity. In our case, we were waiting so long for the Pfizer vaccine in our area. This morning, we texted the local government office for our vaccination schedule since the stocks of the vaccine just arrived. And we hope that before November 11, we are fully vaccinated. The 11th is my nephew's birthday and we were invited to go there. All of us are already fully vaccinated that time so there's less worries for us. Can't wait! And there's Christmas and New Year to come!

Photo Editing and Nature Art: Kaleidoscopes and Mirror Patterns
Happy Thursday everyone! The weekends are about to come again and it's time for a little bit of a throwback. Today I am going to share you another art journey of mine, now focusing on editing and photography. I am not an expert in both editing and photography, but thankfully lots of apps that are available online and in mobile allows us to create decent-looking photos as well as artful results from different edits.
What makes editing so useful is it allows something that seems impossible a reality, like shots from nature. For this, the theme is mirror and kaleidoscopes. All of these were done like 5 months ago so I forgot what app I used to edit them. I know there are several editing apps that can be used to make kaleidoscopic and mirror effects that you can try out!
Bougainvillea Magic
This is the bougainvillea flower that I shot last year during a rainy day. Unfortunately this flower did not last and withered in the past few months. Many people say that orange bougainvillea are quite rare to see. It is often seen that the colors pink, white, and red are commonly found everywhere. I am not fond of the color orange but it feels so refreshing to see this color when it rains.
Now this was the result of my quick editing using kaleidoscope mirror. It blew my mind to see that the kaleidoscopic image allowed the shape of the bougainvillea to form a 6- petal flower that can also be compared to a star. You can see that the droplets adds some ornament to the tips of these petals.
A Sunny Morning
This time, I went outside at around late morning at 11 am where the sun is starting to get brighter and shining through the place. It was located in the front yard where the morning sun is present, and in the afternoon it will be the backyard that will receive the most sunlight. I forgot about the name of this plant but it has a great pattern of patches within the leaves. Well, I thought this would be perfect when put into the kaleidoscope effect!
And now, here's the results! Another flowery pattern has emerged from the leaves. The petals appear to be sharp and distinct. Meanwhile, aside from the leaves, a stained glass effect can be seen which has the colors of green and yellow-green lights. It reminds me of some church stained glasses.
Rose-y Succulent
This time, I took a photo of my mom's succulent that resembles a rose. I was looking for the original photo but I can't seem to find it anymore. Maybe I accidently deleted that one.
When placed in the kaleidoscope app, it now shows a pattern that's equivalent to a very large rose. Do you notice the star that was formed at the very center? It looks cool too. The bright spots of this plant allows it to give some glow as well. It reminds me of the general shape of Christmas lanterns here in the country, called parol.
Nature edits can look cool too, right?
I didn't expect how all of these would great with the edits. I often thought that editing is just manipulation of images, but to be honest it's also a form of art where unexpected but beautiful results can emerge.
So with the three pieces, which one do you prefer the most? I am torn between the bougainvillea and the sunny morning one. Both have vibrant colors than can appeal to anyone's eye. Have you tried doing the similar thing before?

Time to Revamp Schedule, Again
It's another busy Monday where tasks and errands are just waving around, while here I am slowly but surely filling out my to-do checklist. Due to several additions to the workload that I am having, it's time to re-assess the schedule that I did last month. Especially with the addition of the Axie grind from the past 3 days, my time needs to be spent wisely or else there's less productivity on my end. With that I am planning to have separate days that are alternately followed wherein tasks are done differently. Day A will be reserved for tasks that require mental focus such as writing articles, while Day B is all about gaming and grinding more. Day A: More (Art)icles
To be honest, I am quite annoyed by the fact that I haven't done anything new when it comes to art, or creating more articles that will lead to at least publishing 3-4 weekly. And I have an unfinished work sitting in my easel, collecting dust already! Take note that there are times where I am checking and moving funds in SmartBCH, visiting discord and other socials which can happen in between the set schedules.
So here's my proposal for changes:
**Day A Schedule:**
9am-12pm - Read or write articles. If it's the first day of the week then I will mass produce articles for the next days, to reduce workload and focus on just publishing and reading.
1pm-2pm- Reach the daily quota for Axie. I noticed that the adventure and arena energies can be spent for almost an hour. I often spend 5 energies for adventure EXP and 15 energy for slp grinding in ranked for a decent amount of SLP gains. (Assuming I am not in a lose streak, lol)
2pm-4:30pm - Check out my unfinished artworks and plan some of them how will they go. If I am able to get 3 articles done in Monday I can have more time for art in the next days to come.
4:30pm- 5:00 pm - Exercise. Any form of exercise is a must for our body to function well and I am making sure that I get my body moving every day.
8pm-11pm - Check out noise as well as other socials. Time also to grind some in axie for mmr.
11pm-1am- Free time; more grind, reading, watching, continuing unfinished tasks. It depends on what I feel to do.
Day B: Gaming Day
For this day, I plan to focus on grinding my gaming accounts. Currently I have 2 Splinterlands account. The first one is my main with some money invested in. The second one is mostly a free to play with minimal investment just for card rentals. Another game that I am grinding is axie where I have to reach the minimum quota plus the one that I gain in arena. Both of these games require time and attention in order to maximize rankings and earnings as rewards get higher the better you play. In general, Day B will just get some changes based on Day A schedule.
**Day B Schedule:**
9am-12pm - Start the Axie grind in conjunction with the daily quota. My aim is to get at least 100-200+ MMR from the previous day. I hope that I get win streaks this time of the day since I noticed that the best players are still asleep/working/studying this time haha. Gonna be practical and take advantage of it.
1pm-4:30pm - Rent cards for both Splinterlands accounts and consume 50% ECR in battles for the day, as that means my ECR will be back to 100% in the next session for 48 hours.
4:30pm- 5:00 pm - Exercise routine
8pm-11pm - Noise and visit some articles
11pm-1am- Free time
How's That?
I have successfully laid down my schedule and now it's time to take that in action. Right now I already finished my Axie grind as well as the articles that I plan to deploy in the upcoming days. The art stuff will be pushed in Wednesday since I used all the time allotted for that in writing. Let's see if this kind of changes will work well in the long run.

Cattos, Froge, and Hoomans Making Noise in the AxieBCH Dojo!
Hello everyone! It's been several days since I wasn't active here checking some of you out and I even lost my diamond badge haha. That's because we were making some noise on the AxieBCH Discord! It's a lot of fun meeting new people out there coming from different backgrounds and countries. Their goal is to become an active part of the AxieBCH community and to be granted a scholarship. This scholarship is not only beneficial financially, but also it helps build teamwork and camaraderie between the scholars and coaches. Aside from that, we had a lot of fun and laughs from the past days. And special creatures made their presence in the server too! To be honest this article was supposed to be published 2 days ago but hey, I got busy those times.
I wish I was more active weeks ago!
It happened that I wasn't very active when I first hopped into the server, because I felt too shy to talk in the main chat. Since one of the determining factors of getting that chance to be called is being active in the main room, I completely missed this opportunity. And to be honest, that was the best time to be noisy since there are still few people in there applying for scholars. But hey, I am still glad that I am finally a part of this wonderful community!
After a week of inactivity, dear friend Monika @ fantagira told me that I should be active as many people are applying which can make it difficult to be recognized. I saw that several new scholars who came in got quickly, so I started to make my presence known and mingle with different people out there along with the coaches who stream in their Twitch.
And then the days come by, we're seeing new faces every single day. But not all of them were active and just spamming the applications. Good thing the coaches and some scholars are taking action with this one. A cheater even tried to create 4 accounts for 4 days but unfortunately he can't outsmart those people who have eyes lurking around.
Meeting fellow cattos, hoomans, and a lone froge!
There came a day where the cattos, hoomans, and a froge have stormed the dojo! I am one of the catto and there's another one, busy with his studies. A lone froge came from his pond full of flies, and maybe more froges and flies are coming soon. Hoomans are there playing with these adorable creatures and have formed bonds with each other. They are all making noises and laughter around the place and throwing memes every hour. Their presence are forming a great atmosphere in the main room and making everyone happy. What makes all of the members special in the dojo is that everyone can relate and talk about their daily lives and the problems they face, and I can say this is one of the best discord server I've joined since the past 3 years!
Time for the real test!
It took several days for us to prove ourselves worthy of being part of the new set of scholars. On a Wednesday evening we finally had the chance to be given a test that allowed the coaches to determine how much we know about the game itself and the basics. Failing the test doesn't mean it's the end as the coaches are generous to give another chance for the next set of scholars.
I was so happy that the four of us passed and then everyone was celebrating with our success. Then later on we were called for interview via discord's voice call.
Receiving the axies and time to play!
The next day our coach Nazko gave us the credentials for our account which allows us to play the game. I am glad that I received the team of Aqua-Aqua-Plant (AAP) which is one of the meta teams today. I still have too much to learn about this team and wish me luck! You see, the AxieBCH team are providing the top-quality axies to their scholars as they are purebred and expensive to buy.
This means that scholars should only focus on improving their skills without worrying about the performance of their axies in play.
Setting Goals!
Right now, my objective in the game is to learn about the different card combos in the right situation as well as having proper energy management to have an advantage in battle. The same goes with managing the 20 energy given daily for adventure and arena EXP/SLP grind. My goal is to gain at least 100+ MMR per day so that I can gain more SLP rewards.
*And that's it for today guys! I got carried away by this amazing discord server and trying to check the conversations every hour. Sometimes there are love stories, memes, and random stuff as topics in the main chat and I have to backread a lot lols. My Income Sources Before Crypto and BCH
When I was in second year college, that was the time when I decided to accumulate more money based on different sources. Though it can be challenging especially since I have no time for part-time work due to my school schedule plus daily travel already eats up the whole day. Instead, I try to find different ways on how to accumulate wealth no matter how big or small it was. It's better to get started than do nothing. So below are the different ways how I earned money and used them to grow my own portfolio by reinvesting. Now, even as an unemployed fresh graduate, I am happy that I accumulated enough wealth that is better than most paying jobs out there, including the ones I gained from crypto and BCH.
Allowances
Since I stepped in school, from Grade 3 up until the final year of college I am being given allowance from my parents. I first started with 10 pesos a day ($ 0.2) which is enough to buy meals and biscuits for recess. Most of the time I purchase a simple set of meal consisting of biscuits and I have my drinking water bottle so that I don't have to purchase drinks. I often save 2 pesos a day by doing this and put them all in my piggy bank. In high school I was given 100 pesos ($2) daily as there are recess and lunch times now which need more budget. I save 20 pesos daily then.
For college, my daily allowance is now at P300 ( $6) which covers my transportation fees, food, and some other miscellaneous things that I can use it for. After graduating from college I was able to save $200 worth of money which isn't amazing, but still better than nothing.
Christmas and Birthday Gifts (as money)
Every Christmas, I know that people are very excited because they will receive some gift coming from their relatives, aunts and uncles. In my case I have several uncles and aunts who generously give me $30 worth of money every year. This is often consumed as part of my allowance or for things that I wanted to buy.
Taking online surveys
I started searching online on the different ways on how to earn money since I was 3rd year in college. These surveys are often used for research purposes by the different companies who endorse their products and services. I had like 5 sites used for almost 3 years. These have allowed me to earn $250 in total since I started, and I stopped using them ever since I discovered BCH and crypto. I found that they are not worth the time and effort especially when I find it that I get disqualified or it takes weeks to get my payout. And sometimes the surveys are filled up quickly which minimizes my earning opportunities.
Mobile apps
For now, I use the mobile apps that allows passive earning opportunity. I use the Current app for playing music and charging your mobile. I also used the Display/Tsu social before. Ever since I discovered noise and crypto, I never came back lol. I find that it can be time inefficient to support different people out there and there are so much spammers and stealers that would ruin your day. Thankfully most of the people I know and became friends with have transferred into noise. It's a lot more fun with genuine interaction and the earning opportunities are way better. I have also learned a lot about BCH and crypto in general because of the amazing community who share their knowledge and experiences with us.
Closing Thoughts
I can say that I am contented with how I earned before when I was still studying, and even up until now since I am unemployed. I have discovered lots of great opportunities in crypto and I know they are helping everyone to be financially free little-by-little. With dedication, consistency, and hard work, financial freedom is just a step away.

Hilarious Editing: The Elemental Cattos!
Hello guys! it's been a while since I got missing in action here, along with Rusty lol. I was busy fixing my personal stuff at home as well as constantly watching the crypto charts, especially with the mistswap. Anyway, let me present to you the continuation of my art journey for the year, with this time focusing on **editing**!
I edited most of these using basic applications on mobile such as Canva and Snapseed, and their photos were proudly taken as stolen shots! I am not a pro with editing though. These concepts were inspired by the cartoon Avatar from Nickelodeon and I am a huge fan of their series. the ability to control different elements is amazing and I liked the choreography on the fights. As I discovered some templates on the mobile app, I tried experimenting on it and giving it a twist of cattos!
The God of Fire Catto
*The God of Fire Catto has a very fearsome and fiery spirit. His ability to form small embers up to pillars of flames covering his surroundings can be devastating to his enemies. He has also mastered the full control and conjuration of flames with ease. In face value, you would see that cute exterior. But on the inside, you'll see a very different creature altogether. Never let yourself be moved by that cute and adorable face, because once it roars you will never consider it cute anymore.*
I like Tyrone in this pose, because he looks so calm and collected, but it can be hot at the same time. He was just chilling out in the balcony and I always have my phone nearby. Glad that I took the shot.
God of Water Catto
*The God of Water Catto is adept at swimming into long distances, from oceans to oceans, with breakneck speeds. He has a very playful and calm personality, the one we associate going with the flow. His favorite trick is riding the waves with his back laid down on the water surface, and doing several backflips. A swing of his paws is enough to push him far, or cause a massive tidal wave that can drown anyone who opposes him.*
Chubs is a very shy type of cat, he doesn't like to interact very close with other cats and hoomans. But you can see here that he has opened up himself and be vulnerable. This also gives us a great summer vibes. At this pose, his belly is the one that you should pet.
*The God of Earth Catto is probably the most peaceful and calmest cattos in the land. He has the ability to manipulate vegetation, forests, and anything that has connection to life itself. With every step he takes, a small sprout of seedlings and leaves emerge, making him the God that allows bountiful harvest. Farmers and Gaia Lovers adore him so much.*
This is Ateng's boyfriend. He is considered to be a loverboy since he stalks Ateng so much that it ended up into a loving relationship. He really does everything to make a relationship grow, like plants lol. Ans speaking of his girlfriend...
Goddess of The Skies Catto
*As the only one who is a female in the realm of the top-tier entities, the Goddess of the Skies is a pretty formidable deity, with her look alone scaring everyone who looks at her eye-to-eye. What's even worse is that she can have the ability to see everyone in a large area, no matter where they are. One swoop of her nasty eyes will create a huge storm that can punish evildoers. But if you pray to her right, she will bless you with all the blessings and protection from anything who has evil intentions. May Ateng always be on your side*
Yes, we know Ateng would be the most powerful Goddess since her abilities are top-notch, with her eyes alone you can get toast! And she's quite large as she appears to be like an apparition in the skies.

I like seeing these texts from the games that I play and it makes me immersed in the world that they are in. In the future, I am interested to see how it plays out with future stories.*

Introductions Can Feel Very Awkward
How's the beginning of the month and new week to all of you guys? A while ago it was raining that makes the day look gloomy. But it isn't that bad to be honest, you can feel that relieving cool air coming into your window. A perfect time to relax and chill, but it's Monday lol. *At last, we are finally in the room that's sparkling clean and new since it's located on a new building built several months ago. And now, what will happen next along the day? Are we going to have the cheesy "introduce yourself" part? What kind of new teachers and classmates do we have? Well, that's time for the next part!*
Weird Introductions
I know that during the first day of school, many teachers or professors would like to ask his/her students to introduce themselves. In our case, our new adviser gave out her introduction first. Let's call her Ms. Jhoanna. From the way she introduces herself, we can feel her energy and enthusiasm for the class. The feeling of having a memorable and unforgettable teacher is already in front of us, only time will tell if she does.
Our teacher is a newcomer to the school but she has years of experience under her belt. She mentioned that her older advisory classes make her miss them, so we are hoping that would be the same for us. After that, she elaborated all the house rules and goals that our class should achieve at the end of the school year.
And now the heart-pounding moment is about to begin. She said we should start from alphabetical order first, and we must tell our name, age, hobbies, as well as showing off our talents!
For me, I am not that nervous with introductions since they are pretty short and you can get away with it . I am the 6th person on the list out of 35 students, so that means they can forget about me after I am finished. But the show-off of talents is what I really fear lol. I don't have any desired talent that time, plus my low confidence is making me uncomfortable.
And now the boring" introduce yourself" part begins. I am so happy that the classmates before me didn't fell for the trap showing off their respective talents. That means the succeeding students don't have to!
What intrigued me that time is my seatmate on the left. I have my friend since last school year named James sit on my right (alphabetically) and that's how we became friends ever since. Now, will the seatmate on my right become a new friend?
And we saw that "chick" that our class president was talking about before this day. Not only she does carry that grace and aura, but also her words and diction tells that she is smart and knowledgeable. No wonder the boys and girls near her are lucky! Thankfully she's just in the next row behind us hehe.
Excited with the new faces and connections
Now that the introductions have finished, the school bell rang signaling the time for recess. And of course this leads into a lot of conversations between circles of friends, new and old. I had a short conversation with my seatmate, named Carlos. He seems to have a geeky approach to things that I like such as animes and games. Looks like a lot of new stuff to talk about! It means that Carlos is in our circle of friends already just in a few minutes. And looks like I have to talk about it in the future how our friendship goes.
That day went so well that I can say it's probably one of the best first days of school that I had, and no doubt it solidified our relationships as classmates that extends until today. I already want a meetup to happen, maybe a reunion after the pandemic.
Moving forward...
I really had fun telling this experience through writing since I can feel that situation again, and the nostalgia kicks in. Maybe in the next articles I will try to tell more about my other experiences at school since there's a lot! Some of them are fun, nasty, depressing, awkward, and stressful. These experiences helped us learn lots of different life lessons that is valuable and timeless.

With BCH Everything is Possible! (2.51 BCH from September!)
Hello and happy Friyay and October to all of us! I know that you are all busy again for the new plans this month. Thankfully it's going to be weekends in the upcoming days so we can have some chill time before the real deal starts for the new month!
Here I am going to share to you my financial report, mostly BCH earnings in all platforms that I have used for the month of September. Overall I am pretty happy with the results and I'm glad to share it with you. In both of these platforms, I have been more active compared to the previous month, but still not that active that I miss some days logging in. For noise I only log in 6x per week and in here I only had 17 articles published. Still I am satisfied with there and hopefully next month I will be more active.
Currently I only have **$38.19 (0.0757 BCH)** in my noise.cash wallet. That's because I had several outgoing transactions that I have sent into my account in Splinterlands (lol). I will discuss that later. With this I was able to send **$195.24(0.38 BCH)** in the game as my initial investment.
In this platform I was able to accrue **$58.69 (0.116 BCH)** with the help of the generous rewarder as well as you guys! Also, I was able to give out $25 to others, making me #38 for the top givers here.
**Total BCH earned in both platforms: $292.12 (0.57 BCH) not including the tips given out to others.**
BCH in SmartBCH (Benswap)
This is probably the goat for this month, since I got most of the earnings here at a whopping **2.09 BCH**! If you remember before I took the 1 BCH out and left the remaining into the farms and pools of BenSwap.
From 550 tokens during the ATH of $EBEN, I took 250 out and left 300 in stake. Then I took again 100 from the stake and placed it in BCH-EBEN liquidity pool. In a span of 21 days, I got **129.019 $EBEN as passive income.** The total staked EBEN is now **329.019** which came from the daily compounding of the farmed tokens.
For the liquidity pool, I have 0.183 BCH and 106.629 EBEN pooled. This is equivalent to **0.0366 BCH**
I also have some ARG and KTH tokens left. I tried to get their equivalent BCH values and they are around **0.037 BCH**
Total value of BCH in SmartBCH: **0.97 BCH**
Splinterlands!
This one is pretty exciting, because I also have started this game during the start of the month. I wish I started earlier though! Some legendary cards worth $20 before have skyrocketed to $600 in just 2 months as I saw their history!
Here you can see my card value which is around **$322 (0.63 BCH)** right now. I really like collecting and buying those cards which helped me progress and earn more rewards from daily and seasonal chests plus the DEC gained in battle. My in-game wallet now has 14, 257 DEC **(0.21 BCH)** that came from rewards as well as some card sales that I got.
Another great source of passive income is the in-game's SPS airdrops. This is calculated based on the assets you are currently holding in game, like the card collection, DEC, and SPS staked. This incentivizes players to hold their assets instead of dumping them. The more you hold, the better the airdrop reward you get. Due to the price increase of SPS I now have $66.011 **(0.13 BCH) as passive income** for a month playing this game plus investing some money into it.
Total BCH assets in Splinterlands: 0.63+ 0.21+ 0.13= **0.97 BCH**
Initial investment: $195.24 **(0.38 BCH)**
Profit: **0.59 BCH**
Overall Passive Income
**0.13 BCH** from 119.521 SPS airdrops
**0.22 BCH** from 129.019 EBEN from Benswap pools
Total : **0.35 BCH** as passive income
Overall BCH earnings from all sources

**=2.51 BCH!**
Closing Thoughts
I can say that it is a #BetterSeptember indeed! **2.51 BCH** is a great income already for a month, and 0.51 BCH from passive income sources is also a decent amount. But we know that the month of September has been pretty bearish for all cryptocurrencies. If BCH was still on it's ATH maybe I can even get **3 BCH** this month! Even with the massive price changes and impermanent loss from LP pools, I was able to reinvest and grow my BCH earnings. I wish that the upcoming months will be bullish and green for all of us!

Artback Thursday: Time for Some Anime!
Since it's Thursday again, this is a great opportunity to have another throwback, alongside the continuation of my art journey series that I started almost a month ago where I share to you my works within the last 13 months, since I started focusing on creating any forms of art. The month is about to end too so I hope you are having a great time!
In this part I am sharing the works that I did during March and April this year. The theme is all about anime and I decided to do a fan art from my favorite animes HunterxHunter and Black Clover! Please note that there might be spoilers too if you haven't watched these, you have been warned.
Part 1: Killua Zoldyck and Neferpitou from HunterxHunter
Both of my works here involved colored pencil on the main characters while having the background colored in oil pastels that I mentioned in the previous part of this series. I guess that most fans of HxH are liking Killua because of his great abilities in the anime since he showcased proficiency in assassination skills from the Hunter Exam up until the Chimera Ant Arcs. He came from a well-known family of assassins who had great reputation and wealth.
His Nen type is transmutation where his ability is to create lightning and have godlike speed when moving which allows him to move fast. Killua is a well-known friend of Gon, who is the protagonist of the series. For me I personally like his color scheme of blue, from clothing to his lightning attacks. His personality is calm and collected, but he gets cold when you anger him. As an assassin he is not hesitant to remove someone that stands in his way.
Now here comes a pretty catto, which is part of the Chimera Ant Royal guards. This is Neferpitou, an antagonist in the series. Its gender is unknown actually, though it speaks as a female in the show. What I liked about it is that it's personality, acting pretty much like cats who love to stalk and take down their prey with swiftness. Neferpitou's Nen ability allows it to have great senses to detect enemies from afar, and its physical strength is incredible too.
Part 2: Black Clover: Asta and Nero
For these two, I used an airbrush to cover the backgrounds and colored pencils for the main characters.
Asta is the main character in the anime Black Clover, which is still ongoing. I missed watching all of its episodes every week. Asta is an orphan that was saved by a priest in a small village until they grew up, along with Yuno. He's the only Magic Knight in the Clover Kingdom without any magic, but his Anti-Magic ability allows him to counter and cancel literally any form of magical attacks. His determination, will, and focus to succeed and become a Wizard King even without magic makes him an inspiring character. Also, his ability is essential in any battle since their enemies mostly use magic to deal damage.
Nero is a bird who's actually a human who was sealed by a powerful magic hundreds of years ago, and her goal is to stop the demons that might attack the Clover Kingdom. She has the ability to seal items and magic, which can be powerful in the right situations. Nero served the oldest king of the Clover Kingdom and she promised to protect the place using her knowledge and power. Within the series, her intelligence and abilities served a lot of help in battles which could be impossible without her.

I Am Contented, But it's Not Bad to Wish for More!
In my current situation, I am happy with all the blessings, good health, opportunities, family and friends who are there standing beside me, with the different struggles that I face and the victories I achieved. But it made me think that this current situation won't be permanent and there will be events in life that requires **more**, when it comes to aspects such as financial, health, spiritual, and relationships. Below I would like to share to what extent do I want more of these things that will make me feel better, or let's say secure about our future (not in particular priority or order).
Money and Financial Freedom
I think this one is a no-brainer for us at all, since we need money in order to enable us get the **things** that we wanted. I emphasized on "things" because money enables us to get mostly material benefits, not happiness. I know that one of the reason why we are here on this platform is to accumulate BCH that helps us satisfy our daily needs and have the other pieces go into investments for a secure future, eventually leading into **financial freedom**. It will go a long way before we achieve that, but with dedication, hard work, and taking opportunities plus risks, we can have more money that will lead into financial freedom. I want more money to come in my side hopefully in the future.
Emphasis on Health
Having good health is an extremely important aspect of our lives that must be protected and conserved. With the rise of the pandemic, it's apparent that even the some of the healthiest of people have a chance to not make it. By this, it's essential to take care of ourselves like eating healthy, exercising, or having good sleep ( guilty with this one!). If we are able to maintain these, the chances of living longer and being able to do important tasks will help improve the quality of our lives. I want to be more healthy these times and I am doing my best to maintain it.
Quality Relationships
It's difficult to form quality relationships nowadays, to be honest. Probably because of the way the world works right now. You know what I mean? People are mostly using each other in order to gain benefits, and will leave you hanging when you are in need. But that won't be possible if we all have high quality relationships, when it comes to both family and friends. They will always stand beside you when it comes to your hardships and success. A healthy relationship will be toxic-free and genuine, without thinking of just personal benefits. I want more quality connections along the way, and I am happy that I met several people online like you guys who are truly helpful and inspirational, despite the distance that separates us.
Emphasis on Spiritual Connection
This aspect is often overlooked, as people think that this is a cheesy/ unimportant part of life. We might be physically and mentally healthy, but what if we don't have a good soul? For me, having a good spiritual connection is important too since it allows us to have inner peace and stability. If we do not have a calm and strong spirit, we can get swayed easily by external forces, and this can affect us in a physical and mental way. You might get depressed and resort into overeating or undereating, which forms a negative feedback loop. For me, I want more of having inner peace.
It's never bad to wish for more, but let's make these a reality!
Having enumerated all of my personal wants and wishes, it will just be a wish if I don't make any moves or actions. It's necessary to set small goals that will lead into all of these. Even if at some point there's a failure, never give up if we really want more!

Bringing Up A Nostalgic Monday
I had a nostalgic memory a while ago when I was sleeping for hours (again) during the day lol. It's like a dream but it just played the experiences before. I was supposed to get up and finish the usual tasks but my body said I better go to sleep! Anyway, it was about the first day of classes during my 3rd year in high school.
We moved into our current house last 2012 and that was when I transferred into my new school, for the 2nd year level. By that time, the school was also newly built, and there's not a lot of students who came in. In our case we were only 22 students in one class for our batch. It was a memorable and fun days, as we don't feel any pressure from our studies. The teachers were also kind to us while allowing us to learn a lot. And in 2013, it's time for us to move into our junior year.
Before The First Day of Junior Year
I was really pumped up when all of us were preparing our things during Sunday, as we were talking about our new classmates as well as meeting again our old friends. The school released a list where the names and section are presented via Facebook. We were all hoping that we won't be split into two sections since that would be unfortunate to not meet our friends in the class, especially the close ones.
As we hurriedly viewed the announced list of sections, the tension was incredible and everyone was hoping for the news that the class will still be as one, even if the number of students increase. The class president from our sophomore year first took notice of it and she said there should be no one who will look at it first other than her. As the list was opened, she was so loud in the group chat like saying "GUYS! I am so happy !"
Of course it made us curious but it already feels like our wish was granted, to not have any splitting of the class, while we gain more classmates. The list included 35 students in total, meaning there are 13 new students from our previous year. But 3 of our classmates before transferred into other school, so that means we have 15 new classmates! It's unfortunate that the three left us as they are good friends with great memories. But our enthusiasm for the new members of the class is definitely exciting. "Thankfully there's a list! Time to go stalk and check out the new profiles of these people!" said our class president. I personally was holding off looking at their profiles since it's better for me to get excited and leave out the spoilers lol. It's just a night before the class starts anyway.
The noisy president patiently scanned the profiles of the new classmates in Facebook and she announced her "exciting" discoveries haha. She mentioned that there's a pretty chick that the boys would like to see. That surely made us excited for tomorrow!
**Getting To Know Each Other**
Due to the excitement for the next day, I had difficulty sleeping. I believe it was already 2 am when I slept, since the group chat was so active. I was able to wake up 6 am and got into school at 7:30, which is 30 minutes earlier before the bell. Stepping into the school feels so energetic as you can feel all the noise of students excited to see new faces, as well as the new advisers and teachers present. I saw my old friends along with the new ones, and we exchanged hellos and some introduction.
10 minutes before the time, our adviser already greeted us with a smile and she let us from a line in the gymnasium before the flag ceremony. Almost all the students are already in. When the bell rang, we had a new principal talking on stage who is a sister/nun. Since we are in a catholic school, the old principal asked the governing body of catholic schools in our division to supervise the school. After the principal finished her speech, we had the flag ceremony that lasted for around 5 minutes. Then we we went up shortly into our new classroom.
At last, we are finally in the room that's sparkling clean and new since it's located on a new building built several months ago. And now, what will happen next along the day? Are we going to have the cheesy "introduce yourself" part? What kind of new teachers and classmates do we have? Well, that's time for the next part!

Splinterlands Obsession: Making Some Good and Bad Purchases!
It's been over 3 weeks since I bought my Summoner's Spellbook in this game that costs $10. Well, I have purchased even more than that, and those were worth it while some are kind of depressing. This week, the prices of the cards are in downtrend especially with the new reward cards in circulation, plus the upcoming pre-selling and release of ***Chaos Legion Booster Packs*** which I am excited about! This game is really addicting and I regret that I should have come in early and invest, since I bought traditional videogames that do not have value at all. I am willing to spend money because **first, I like the game**, and **second, it's an** **investment opportunity.**

Getting Some Bad Deals
I tried to get my eyes on the three great cards in game, namely the new Reward Cards, Level 3 *Djinn Renova ($27.18)* Level 4*Venari Crystalsmith ($26.83)* and *Djinn Biljka ($17.05)* for a total of *$71.06***.** They have great stats and ability for the mana cost they offer. And for me they look cheap for a legendary, epic and rare cards at those levels for Silver League. This was done on a Tuesday.
Two days later, I saw the card prices plummeting like crazy. I checked on my card prices and I was shocked to see that these three cards dropped by almost 50%! I am feeling robbed because of that lol and my cards should have been bought at $35! That money could be used instead for other cards. But for me, since I am looking at this as a long-term investment, I am not worried much about this. I am positive that the cards will rise in value in the future, that I can sell at higher price. I heard from older videos that cards from 0.1 cents reached to an ATH of $44! For the meantime I am renting out these cards for some passive income, at least I can get something back.
Taking advantage of the dump for bargain
Since I saw that the market was plunging ever since Tuesday, I tried to get the opportunity to buy new cards that I really liked. Since my favorite splinters are Water, Life and Neutral (for their overall utility) I tried to prioritize getting them. I started with the common cards since they are pretty cheap for the prize, then some good epic cards to begin with. I got the common cards: Level 5 *Feasting Seaweed* ($35.4), Lvl 4 *Wave Runner* ($11.28**)**, Lvl5 *Demented Shark* *($7.87)*, and the epic *Level 3 Axemaster* ($50 instead of $85), and a *neutral legendary Almo Cambio ($20 instead of $35)* for a total of **$124.55.** I am glad to see my water deck going stronger for Silver league. For the summoner, its better to rent as they are fairly cheaper.
Account Value and Passive Income
I am currently renting out most of these collections since I only play 25x matches a day for the daily quest and to maximize my capture rate I am mostly using the free cards given at the beginning then I will rent at the end of the season to get the Gold League rewards, which is a cheaper way to get chests. The rental price per day of my cards are are around **107 DEC or $0.57.** As for the SPS daily airdrop, my account gets *$1.231 a day* for a total of **$1.8/day** which is not bad considering it is compounded daily. I have **32,715** airdrop points for this. And that's not including the rise of card values since they are hyper deflationary NFTs that are limited in supply, along with the increase in players causing higher demand.
Closing Thoughts
Splinterlands is a highly addictive game because of the in-depth strategies and tactics that can be used to win battles. It's also a great source of passive income and a good long-term investment. The game has been out for almost 3 years already and has a good track record. With the growth of player base and new cards to play with, it's going to get even better! So what are you waiting for?
