We cannot please everyone! We're on the last day of November now!. November 30th, and it's holiday!. And Holiday work means "Double Pay!"..yay!.. Ever since I joined my current company, I usually work on Holidays!. Why? Because of the holiday compensations!. A single cent on top of my basic salary is important enough for me. I will be able to buy my kid's extra needs as well :).. My initiative : Automations Anyways, I have this topic at the moment because yesterday, I was so upset with one of my colleagues. For those who are constantly reading my articles, you might have already know that I've been automating lately. The main goal of my automations (at work) is to save time and effort from the manual checks and at the same time, it reduces the risk of human error. So last week, I've officially published to my team mates the automations that I've completed. I've received good feedback from them. And in fact, my Manager also commended me. He even forwarded one my automations to his Manager and he received a good response from him as well. My not so pleased colleague! However, all of a sudden, one of my colleague sent me an email yesterday as if questioning the effectivity of one of my script which I called as "the URL status checker". What my "URL status checker" script does is, it visits all the listed URLs in the input file and check them one by one if they are accessible or not. For some reason, my colleague is saying from his mail as if "the scripts will just mislead my colleagues". The entire team is copied in the thread. However, I've already explained over my mail that the script that I've created has no capability to go beyond the url's login page. Thus, it is not advisable to use for those checks that requires functionality testing. I felt upset with what he said over the mail. ***He also mentioned that he thought of automating it before but he decided not to proceed with it because it will just mislead everybody.*** Seriously, my interpretation of that highlighted line is that he's trying to tell the team that got the idea **FIRST**!. He is the same colleague I am referring to from my previous articles that he always wanted to be the FIRST. He doesn't want to be the second, or I would rather say, He cannot accept the fact that there's someone or somebody who is or are better than him. He always wanted to be in the spot light!. So I vented out what I felt about those mail exchange to one of my senior colleague. And you know what? It so happened that the colleague of mine who is complaining about the automation that I did is also sending my senior colleague a direct message about our mail exchange. Good thing is that my senior colleague backed me up!. He replied on top of the thread and elaborated the purpose of my script. And then after he sent an email, my complaining colleague called him and guess what!. It's like his tune has changed!. After their call, my complaining colleague has sent an email asking me to schedule the run of my script in a daily basis!. So from being persistent of saying that my script is useless, it ended up with instructing me to go ahead and have it used by the team!. And I'm like ***"What!., After all the negativity you've mentioned about my script, you're telling me now to go ahead with it!. So if our senior colleague didn't backed me up then you will insist with your stand that the automation I did is useless, or is a garbage?!*** But of course, I didn't said it to him directly to prevent a fire!. To be honest, those kind of person is not healthy to a team. Because instead of motivating the me to go ahead and do some more, he's more like discouraging me !. I know that I am self thought in PowerShell programming and I still consider myself as noob. Anyways, I have to move on, despite of what has happened!. I will show him and will teach him how to accept the fact that not all the time, he is the **FIRST**!, that we all have our strength and weaknesses, that we all have our capabilities and limitations!., that a person can develop skills overtime and he cannot control that, specially if the person has some kind of spirit and committed to learn specific stuffs to improve his or her technical skills and knowledge. So it is true that **"WE CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE!"**. There is always someone who will find ways to put your morale down but we should fight them! Don't let them win! **We must show them that we aren't weak enough to quit!. We must show them what we're capable of!. We shouldn't allow their crab mentality to exist!.** And lastly, always remember : we do not exist to please everyone!. Enough for today's rant!. I want to welcome December with a good mood, good attitude, and positive environment!.

Always looking forward to "SUNDAY" It's the first day of the week again!.1 day to go and we're on December month already!. Time really flies so fast isn't it? We cannot even noticed the dates sometimes!. It's just Monday today, but we're already forward for the upcoming weekend, for Sunday to be specific! I believe, most of us has something that we look forward to keep on going. Something that keeps on pushing us to continue and never surrender. Something that inspires us and motivates us to continue our handworks!. I just wanted to set my kids as an example. Every Sunday, it's been our family's habit that every Sundays, we will go outside. Either we go to Shakey's and buy our favorite Hawaiian Pizza and Fried Chicken, or we go for a quick picnic somewhere where there's no crowd. First Picnic Venue: A Perfect View to watch sunset As of this writing, we have two venues for our picnics. First is this place where we can roam around freely without worrying about passing vehicles, and in the afternoon, we can watch the beautiful sunset. I so loved the sunset and the sunrise view. I love to watch it while I am near to our mother nature. I love to watch it with green trees and grass in the background. Hence, that place is a perfect spot for me to watch the sunset. Here is another photo of greenery that I'm sure every nature lover will appreciate. Every time we go to this place, we just bring our own "baon" (packed food). And then we'll allow the kids to run and roam around the place. It's like an undeveloped subdivision. Just make sure you bring OFF Lotion or any insect repellant specially for the kids!. What I really love about this place is that, it's safe for the kids!. There are no vehicles passing by, aside from those who also went there for a family picnic. There were also some who jog (with their family, and sometimes with their dog). This place is a bit far from our home. It's less than an hour drive from our house. But it's worth it!. Specially if you see the beautiful sunset from there. Second Picnic Venue: A perfect place to do a bike exercise Couple of Sunday ago, we discovered a place which is perfect for biking. There are lots of bikers, going into this subdivision as well every afternoon. You can also see some walking and jogging with their dogs. And since my husband and my eldest son has recently bought bicycles, we find this spot as a perfect biking venue because it is just few minutes ride away from our house. Since we cannot fit all the bikes inside our car, our eldest son will just go the venue riding his bicycle. That's actually the main reason why we have chosen this place because of its proximity from our house. At least we can bring all of my kids' bicycles and so as my husband's too. Above biking photos were captured from yesterday. That pink colored bike is my daughter's bike when she was 1 year-old up to 2. The blue one was my youngest son's but he prefer to use the pink one because it's break is easier to pull as compared with his blue bike. They are racing in that photo but what's funny is my youngest son won't let his sister to win against here. So whenever he noticed that his sister is advancing the race, he would ask her sister and shout "wat for me ate!". And you know? They are excited for the next Sunday (again) because they loved doing what we used to do every Sunday (family picnic + stroll + biking). My Youngest Son is Looking Forward for each "Afternoon"! Ever since we introduced a bicycle to my youngest son, he loved it immediately! He love to ride with his bicycle outside because we have a very small space inside our house. He's having difficulty to maneuver his bicycle inside our house and hence he always wanted to go outside. However, there are times that it's too hot outside and hence what I am always telling him whenever he would ask to go outside is "Later in the afternoon if it's not too hot already!.". That word instilled into his mind and hence whenever he noticed that it's no longer hot outside, he would tell me "Mama wala na SUN", which means he wanted to go outside already because the sun rays do not direct into our skin anymore (it's no longer hot!). In the above photo is my son, biking alone while I am sitting at the gutter , watching him!. While watching him, I also took the opportunity to water my plants outside. How about you guys? What are you looking forward in each day, each week, each month or even in each year? Are you also looking forward for Sundays like us? Are you also excited for weekends like us? I would be happy to read your stories as well ;). Feel free to leave a comment and I would love to read each of them!.

My "plantita" self. Happy Sunday everyone! Since it's Sunday today! As usual, my husband and I spent quality time with our kids. We just went to a nearby subdivision where the kids can enjoy riding in their bicycle. Our goal for today is to have fun but we should not spend much on our food so what I did before we left is, I prepared peanut butter sandwich. And then I filled each of our tumblers with water. My husband then loaded my kids bikes and his bikes into our car. Since we cannot fit all the bikes inside our car, he just asked our eldest son to ride his bicycle and we will just follow him along the way. Same set-up when we go home. My son just ride in his bicycle. I took a picture of my son riding his bicycle from our side mirror. He seems to be comfortable with biking by himself already. Anyways, let's move on to my next topic. My plantita self. Eversince we moved here in our current house, it's been my habit to plant. It is like my venue to divert my attention whenever I'm stressed or exhausted. I used to plant diffent types of veggies. The ones that can be seen in our kitchen like tomatoe, eggplant, string beans, chili, and okra. Here are some of the photo's I grabbed from my album in my FB page. I felt proud and satisfied whenever my plants starts to near some fruits because for me , it's an accomplishment! I also love to plants different kind of flowers. Below are some of my flowers from our garage. And here are some more! I cannot put lots of flowers inside because some of them cannot actually survjve without the direct sunlight. I also have some few in front if our garage (outside). If I only have abundant space, I might have more flowers than what you can see in the picture. Actually, I used the frontyard of the house beside us. It's not yet occupied as of this moment hence, I used to plant some in front of the house to maximize the free space while I can. Above image has been captured around morning earlier. Pardon the mess because I am not able to clean it before I took the picture. I have malunggay tree out there. Actually it's my neighbors' source of malunggay leaves as well. I have lots of lemon grass over there, luyang dilaw or turmeric plant in english, calamansi and few more flowers. And just like the malunggay tree, that lemon grass is like lemon grass of all. It's my neighbor's source as well. What I only demand from them is to take care or be extra caregul when they pull some stalks of it so not to damage the others. But there's really some careless neighbor who doesn't care about the plant. I also have an eggplant which is taller then me. That eggplant is actually more than 1 year old already. It still bear some fruits till now. I know that one day, I will have to transfer those plants because we never knew when will the owner of that house arrive. From what I heard, he is an ofw. But, let's see. For now, I want to enjoy that space and plant more as I can during my spare time. Plants are my stress relievers and my diversion everytime my braincells seems to be stuck or not working anymore. Whenever I am exhausted, I will just go outside and check on my plants, cultivate and water them and that's it!..That's how shallow I am!.

Nobody's perfect! Everybody makes mistakes just like what **Hannah Montana** said in her song entitled Nobody's Perfect! https://youtu.be/t93u0qg5q_M Lyrics: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/hannahmontana/nobodysperfect.html I know most of your will agree that everyone of us are bound to commit mistakes. It is not intentional, we don't meant to make mistakes but for some reason, we just cannot avoid it!. My unavoidable mistakes ****Ignoring Exercise Opportunities.**** As an IT programmer, it is given that my job is to sit in front of my computer all throughout my shift. That's from Monday to Friday, and sometimes, even on Saturdays just like this week because we have weekend events that I needed to cover. Provided that I cannot do any extra activities when I have work, coming weekend. instead of doing some exercise to stretch my sleeping muscles, sometimes, I would rather choose to sit in front of our television and watch Netflix movies the entire day until my energy has gone. There are times where I manage to sit down in my stationary bike, however, my youngest son always invades me whenever he sees me biking. ****Allowing FEAR to overpower my mind.**** I am an introvert person. I don't talk to strangers I must say. At work, I won't talk to those am I not comfortable to talk with unless they talk to me or ask me a question, or they initiate a short talk with me. But then I believe one of the main factor of myself being an introvert person is that the **FEAR**. I have lots of fear in my mind. I am afraid to talk with them (specially in English) because my grammar and accent is not good. Sometimes, I don't even know how to pronounce a word or sometimes I am lost as to what the English translation of the word that I am supposed to say is. **I am afraid to go out of my shell.** Mainly because I am too shy to show them the real me. I am worried that they might criticize my physical appearance. I am insecure in other words!. I am insecure the way I dress. I am insecure the way I talk. I am insecure the way I compose an email. There are lots of insecurities inside me that's preventing me from doing social interactions with others (except to my team mates of course). I have no enough confidence to showcase myself, and my skills. ****Allowing others to abuse my kindness.**** As much as possible, I want to please others. Hence, I don't want to disappoint them every time they ask any favor from me. But then eventually, I slowly learned on how to say "NO". I am still in the learning process and admittedly, there are times that I still find it too difficult to say "NO" but I am still trying. **Failed to manage my anger.** I must admit!. I have a very poor anger management. I am very short tempered specially with my kids. I often burst and just throw my anger to my kids specially if they are so much "makulit!". Sometimes, I am able to manage it and tame my anger by doing a deep breath. I breathe-in and breathe-out multiple times trying to calm myself. It helps to calm my mind. But there are also times that my kids are too hard-headed that do not listen when I reprimand them nth times, and I am too busy at work or have an ongoing call. These are the moments that I fail to manage my anger anymore. I tend to shout for them to know that I am angry already, otherwise, they won't stop and continue doing whatever they are doing!. I know all of us (no exemptions) has already committed a mistake. As per the bible said in Romans chapter 3 verse 10 - "As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one". But the most important thing is that, we are trying to correct it. There are lessons in every mistakes so it is important that we learned from each mistakes and avoid committing it over and over again. By the way, Jessie J has her version of Nobody's Perfect as well. https://youtu.be/aSZVYZTze74 Lyrics here. https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/jessiej/nobodysperfect.html

Pampering myself!... "Add to cart pa more!" Sale! Sale! Sale!. Who amongst you are "patola" of sale? Sales at the mall, sale in Lazada, sale in Shopee and too many more!!. There are lots of sale everywhere! Image source https://ph.images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=Awrxgqp3vqBhNTEAOiDfSQx.;_ylu=Y29sbwMEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3BpdnM-?p=Sale%21+Sale%21%7E&type=gsp_cryptosearch_00_00_ag28301&param1=1&param2=cat%3Dweb%26sesid%3Dcdc3cefaf0a09f67a83a5612c0ea971b%26ip%3D180.195.204.4%26b%3DChrome%26bv%3D87.0.4280.88%26os%3DWindows-10%26os_ver%3D10.0%26pa%3Dgencoll19%26sid%3D7c31ff28c5d478d2aee8045edbc75846%26abid%3D23655%26abg%3D28301%26a%3Dgsp_cryptosearch_00_00_ag28301%26sdk_ver%3D%26cd%3D%26cr%3D%26uid%3D%26uref%3D&hsimp=yhs-016&hspart=dcola&ei=UTF-8&fr=yhs-dcola-016#id=8&iurl=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic.vecteezy.com%2Fsystem%2Fresources%2Fpreviews%2F000%2F664%2F616%2Foriginal%2Fvector-christmas-sale-banner.jpg&action=click I am actually one of the victim of these 50% sale, 70% sale and some more!. Shopping or I think I would rather say Window shopping is one of my ways to pamper myself from being exhausted. Impulsive buying when upset. I remember this instance, when my husband and I had a BIG fight, I am reporting to office that time. I went to office that day very very stressed and upset about my husband. I cannot recall what exactly is the reason of that BIG fight but I can say that I felt really sad and hurt that time. So since I left the house that day and upon arriving at my workplace, I did not texted my husband. Normally (when the situation between us is normal), I always inform my husband through text if once I have arrived the office. It is to let him know that I safely arrived at my destination. Since I am too busy at work, I tend to forget our big fight my entire shift. But then, I never texted him to let him know that I've grabbed my lunch already. And here comes the end of my shift. My usual routine is, I'll walk from our office to the Market-Market (I am working in BGC) because there is available VAN there going to Cavite. While I am walking, my stressed and upset feeling suddenly went back!. I never informed my husband that my shift has ended already. Upon arriving at Market Market, the thought that I don't want to see my husband yet because I am really upset that time keeps on bothering me. And hence, what I did is I entered the mall and roam around. I suddenly passed by into a Nokia store. If I may recall it correctly, believe the newly released phone that time is **Nokia X**. I believe it's very hot that time because it is the first ever android phone of Nokia. For those who don't know how nokia x looks like, here's a photo grabbed from google. I cannot recall exactly how much did it cost way back then. But for me to be able to ease and calm myself, I decided to buy one! I bought the color black because I believe it's the only available color from that store. I don't have any cash in hand aside from my daily allowance hence I decided to use my credit card. And as soon as I arrived at home, I went straight to our bedroom without talking to my husband. I immediately checked the phone that I've purchased when he suddenly entered the room. And then he asked me "bumili ka ng cp? eh may cp kapa naman?". Guess what my response is? "Eh kasi naiinis ako sayo!..Kaya naisip kong bumili nalang ng cell phone!" I know that my reasoning is non-sense because buying the phone using my credit card means another monthly responsibility. Shopee is Blessing in Disguise. Up until now, whenever I am so upset or feeling exhausted, it's been my diversion to scroll at any online store (most of the time is shopee) and add to my cart any interesting item for me. And do you want to see how many items I've got in my shopee cart at the moment? charaaaannnnn! And whoever think that I am a **BIG SPENDER** right now after learning that I've got **148** items in my cart, let me correct your thought!.. **I am not buying them all!.** In fact, most of the items in my card are like more than 1 year old (in my cart) already.!. Sometimes, I used to scroll in my cart and check-out some items that I needed so badly. But those items that I think are not priority or no use? I just leave them there. I just let them sit there until I decided to remove them or clean them up!. While to some, online shops are kind of temptations, to me they are **blessing in disguise!.** Just imagine if there's no online shops available right? I may have bought bunch of non-useful stuffs!. Just like what I've shared above where I tend to buy a phone which is none of my plan and is not relevant during that time. So I think I need to say "THANK YOU SHOPEE" for saving me (a lot of times) from my IMPULSIVE buying!. My sincerest thanks to all of you who are always supporting my articles, and sparing some time leaving comments, upvotes and thumbs-up!. You're one of my motivations to keep on writing and publishing articles. You might want to visit my sponsors' page as well., they have lots of articles which might be same of your interests.

I urge my kids to review prior their exams...am I a bad mother? Date: November 25, 2021 Thursday I've been occupied the entire day yesterday trying to finish my scripting task. Yes, you heard it right. When I say scripting, I am referring to the programming tasks. I've volunteered to create a script which will monitor two of our system in a daily basis. It is to make sure that we don't miss any data. This week is my kid's exams week. And as you would expect, this is basically a toxic week for them. While some of the mothers are just relax and don't care if their child is well prepared for their exams (just like my mother to us way back during our school days), to me, it's different. I really want my kids to grow up giving priority to their education. That's why, in their early stage in school, I wanted to implant into their mind that stock knowledge is not enough. You won't get a passing score if you will just depend with your stock knowledge. That's why I always urge them to review and read their lessons prior their exams. My kid's schedule are MWF (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) only. That means they can use the day in between to review for the subjects scheduled for the next day. Hence, last Sunday, after our Family date, after dinner, I've asked my eldest son to review his subjects scheduled on Monday. While I assisted my daughter who is in second grade currently on her review. I have reminded them that they are not allowed to play any online gamez or mobile games the entire week until their examination is all done. It is our prior agreement. That during their examination week, they must focus on their review aand no distractions allowed aside from watching television during idel time or biking in the afternoon. Good thing their school has purchased and created their own portal, hence, modules are just one download away. I've checked the reviewer that my daughter's teacher has provided. Actually, it is not a reviewer but just the guide kn what will be the coverage of their exams. In that way their student will know what to read and study prior their exam. My review style I just wanted to share with you how am I doing the review routine with my daughter currently. **First**, I will ask her to read a specific topic in her module. She should read it aloud beside me while I am also doing my work at the same time (multitasking). **Why do I have to urge her to read it aloud where I can sinply read it and explain to her directly what it is all about?** For her to practice her reading skills. I also sometimes have to correct her pronounciation. And lastly, I tend to discover those words that she has difficulty to read or pronounce. She is in second Grdae as I have mentioned above also, hence there are still lots of words that she don't know how to read yet. For example yesterday, she ask me how to read "environment". After she confirmed that she's done reading the entire topic, I will stop with whatever work-related stuff that I am doing and I will read to her what she just read while explaining any important details from it. For some enumeration items, I would help her to memorize the list of items first and then once she's confident and can say them, I will then proceed to explain each of their definition. Then next will be question and answer portion. I will oretend to be a teacher asking questions. I will tell the meaning and she will have to write down what is the answer. Sometimes, our mock question and answer portion are via oral recitation but there are also times that it's in written form. When she was in first grade, almost all of the questions have choices. So the students will only write the letternof the correct answer But then now that she is in grade 2, what I've learned when I witnessed one of her exam session is that most of the questions are of identification type. Meaning, the students will have to write down the answer on their whiteboard. There are no choices available. I actually find this examination style as kind of advanced because what can you expect from a grade two student right?.. They are even struggling most of the time with the spelling yet the teacher are asking them to identify the answer to her questions in a limited time only. Just like yesterday, when I checked my daughtet from the other room, she is still answering number 8 and is having difficulty with the spelling. And suddenly I've heard the teacher talked and said "Okay number 14". I am surprised that they are already in number 14 yet my daughter is still trying to answer number 8 and tryjng to figure out what the correct spelling of floppy disk is. So I interrupted her teacher and request if she can repeat questions from number 8 onwards because my daughter has no answer yet. After their exams, I asked my daughter the reasob why she was left behind, and it turns out that the teacher already moved to the next number but she's not done answering the orevious one yet. And it's already late when she realized that the teacher is in number 15 already. So I told her, next time during our review, she needs to give attention to the spelling so that she won't struggle in the future. I also instructed her that if in case it happened again she should stop her teacher and told her that she's not yet done answering the current question. I also told her to not forget yhe keyword in each items that I am asking her to memorize. In that case, she doesn't need to memorize bunch of definition of terms. As long as she know the "keyword", she should be fine. Today, another review session is waving. It's last day of their examination tomorrow so wohoooo!!! Time for relaxation on Saturday!

@Khing14

Apologies folks for not being so active today.. I am busy the whole day with my scripting works but I will try to catch up with you tomorrow. No published article again for today, but it's fine. I'll try to catch-up when I got a chance..

Sunday Funday! Date: November 21, 2021 - Sunday It's Sunday again! And the kids are so excited for this day because they knew that we will go out and have some fun! Changing our Sunday Habit It's been our habit to spend our Sunday with the kids. Basically, we want the kids to implant to their mind that Sunday should be dedicated to the family. Sunday must be Family Day!. What we usually do on a Sunday is go out and eat some pizzas and fried chicken from the Family's favorite resto - Shakey's. That is during pandemic where the kids are not allowed to enter establishments including the churches. Before pandemic, we used to go to the church every Sunday. Starting today, the upcoming Sundays will be different (apart from going to church). Some of you might have been aware already that last Monday, we spent overnight in a resort. The husband and my kids had a lot of fun and they wanted to do that often. So while we're on our way home from that outing, I told my husband that we will change our Sunday Family habit. We will save the money which we're supposed to buy pizza and fried chicken. In other words, for today, instead of buying some pizzas and fried chicken, we've decided to just go to a nearby subdivision instead. We brought the kids' bikes so that they can have a quick biking session in there. The nearby subdivision has a spacious road and there lots of trees in each side which is perfect for jogging, biking, walking, and some sort of exercise. Part of the money we've used to buy my eldest son's bicycle is actually from my noise.cash and read.cash. I've withdrawn 5000 pesos from my PDAX wallet. There is 10 pesos transaction fee hence the total pay-out is 5,010 pesos. My eldest son's bicycle price is 8,900 pesos. Our fund is not enough actually, that's why I've decided to withdraw part of my earnings so that we can buy a bicycle for my son. Eventually, my husband bought himself a bicycle too amounting 9,500 pesos. The reason being is so that he can accompany our son in some nearby rides until my son became familiar and comfortable on how to ride a bike in the main road where there are lots of vehicles passing by. I actually used my credit card for my husband's bicycle because as I have said, we do not have enough funds to cover for it. We have a little savings but we don't want to touch it. Unfortunately, the store entertains straight payment only(no available installment plan). *So, goodluck to my next payroll.* Why did we decided to buy a bicycle despite of having not enough budget for it? The entire pandemic, most of the time, the kids are urged to stay inside the house to be able to protect them from the virus. And since the government regulations are more relax since last week, my husband and I thought of some outdoor activities that my kids will surely love. And we think bicycle is a perfect activity for my kids and for the entire family actually. Budget wise, we can work it out because we can use my credit cards. And since my 13th month pay is waving, it is scheduled to be given on my next payroll, November 30th, that's a big factor in our decision to use our credit card to buy another bicycle. Besides, we still have one more month to accumulate the fund. Happiness is Priceless! No amount can buy a genuine happiness! And I can see it on my kids' faces earlier. They had a lot of fun! Maybe money can give us temporary pleasure but it is not enough to feel the experience the real happiness. By the way, let me just flex my supportive sponsors. Many thanks for your non-ending support! If you have some spare time, please visit their pages as well. You can find a lot of interesting articles in there.

Smart Switch Date: November 19, 2021 Hello my fellow readers and writers. It's Friday again! Maybe some of you are already aware that I've purchased a new phone because my old phone which is a support phone issued by our company has lots of memory issues already. It is too slow as in! Its memory (RAM) keeps on sloeing down over time. I cannot even launch Messenger. It keeps on crashing. And when I open some lf my application installed in my old phone, sometimes it takes forever to load. It will only load successfully after I tried to force stop the application and relaunch it again. Sometimes, I also needed to reboot my phone for it to function correctly again. My old phone is a Huawei y7 pro (2019) while the new one I've purchased using my credit card (12 months to pay) is a Samsung Galaxy A52s. So far, after 1 week, I am satisfied with its performance, specially the quality of its camera. It's response time is so smooth as well. I never experienced any single lag yet. There is only one thing that disappoints me on this phone. Its screen is not scratch resistant. It'svery sensitive. In fact, it got some shallow scratches already the second day after I bought it. I do not know that its screen is too sensitive. I just tried to wipe the dirt using a clothe and then after wiping, I saw the little scratches in the screen. Since I have work that time, I asked my husband to go to the market and buy me a tempered glass. I know how to install it so he don't need to bring my phone because I am using it as well in my work. I'm on a block leave this week (5 consecutive holidays). And since today is the last day of my vacation leave, I opted to transfer all the files, contacts and accounts from my old phone to this new one (I am currently using to write and publish this article). And since it's requires a lot of effort doing it manually, I decided to google some freeware applications that I can use to transfer files between two devices easily. And luckily, I bumped into this application namely "**Samsung Smart Switch Mobile**". The name is quite misleading because it has specifically the brand name "Samsung" in the application name itself.but it works in my huawei device actually. I tried to install the aforementioned application to both my devices and started the file transfer. It's so easy to install. Here is how it's look like after you install the application to your phone. The application is so easy to use. Upo n launching it, you will be redirected to tbis page. It behaves like share it. So you need to click on **Send data** from the old/sender phone and then click **Receive data** from my new phone. Next prompt will ask you about the type of you old phone. In my case, I've selected Galaxy/Android. And then, you will be prompted with the below. In my case, I've used Wireless connection. After selecting Wireless connectiom type, a prompt message will appear asking you to disconnect your phone from wifi network for faster transfer rate. I've cancelled it because I want to multitask while my phone is copying in the background. And right after selecting your option, it will search right away for other device that has the smart switch application open. *Note: Both phones must be connected to the same wi-fi network.* And that's it. Once the system found the other device, You will be prompted with the belo. Select what type of data you wanted to be copied. It will also show the bit size of each data types. Once you've selected which data you wanted to be copied, scroll down further to the bottom and click the "transfer" button. And you're done! All you have to do is wait till the transfer completed.

Attitude versus Technical Skills Date: November 18, 2021 Wave to all my fellow readers and writers! I am not able to write an article last night because I've prioritized the completion of my mandatory trainings and self-evaluation. I am actually on vacation leave the entire week because the firm has mandated all of its employees to take 5 consecutive holidays. This is their way to make sure that all of its employees have sufficient time off from work. I once became part of the hiring process in my previous and in my current job. While some of the interviewer focuses on the technical skills of their interviewee, I am more interested with the candidate's attitude. Why focus on attitude than the technical skills? For me, technical skills are something that can be developed and can be learned over period of time. There are lots of resources available online which we can use to learn new skills and enhance our technical knowledge. Also, in our team, there are readily available documents and training materials being offered to our new joiners. There are training recordings we have prepared for our newbies. That's what I told to my manager when I endorsed one of our candidate who can be considered as still junior because his total years of experience is only 4 years. I even told my manager that I am a living proof that technical skills is something that can be developed and acquired over time. When I joined my current team, I don't have any basic knowledge about Windows applications. My previous work experiences are about Mainframe Jobs, Cobol, Natural, JCL, DB2, and unix. I have a little exposure with java and shell scripting as well. Fortunately, I am able to pass the technical interview. During the technical interview, I told the interviewer the truth that I do not have basic knowledge on Windows Applications. Instead of focusing on the knowledge that I don't have, what I did during the interview is, I have showcased my other knowledge which I can share with the team. And one of them is my knowledge about trade life cycle. And fortunately, it's one of the main criteria being looked for from the candidates. Luckily, my previous client in my previous work is a financial institution, hence, I've got a chance to be exposed in trading cycle and trading terminologies. Apart from that, I showcased my team player attitude. I am a good team player. I always collaborate with others to enhance my skills and of course, to share my knowledge and experiences as well with others. I also showcased on how I usually manage a specific situation. How will I prioritize one task over the other. And that's it! I've made my entry to my current team successfully! Upon joining the team, I have zero knowledge in any Windows application. But as days, weeks, months, and years passed by, I am able to learn little by little. Why am I sharing all of these? Because in my more than 13 years in the IT industry, I've met and worked with different types of employees. And some of them became the team's headache because of their attitudes. Not a team player There were few who are not open to change. They are not open to suggestions or opinion of others. They treated themselves as the team's number one all the time. They don't want to be the second!. They don't play as a team but more of just as individual which is not appropriate because we should work as a group and as a team. Credit Grabber I've also encountered some who always grabs the credit which supposedly be given to others. He always say "I" instead of "WE" when discussing about ateam achievements. But in times of mishaps or when he commited any mistake, he don't usually admit it but point his finger to someone else. He will do everything to save himself. Lazy Admit it or not, in a team, there is always this lazy person whom all he want is to let the diligent ones work hard while they are chillin and relaxing in a corner, reading manga, or playing mobile legends. They don't have sense or urgency most of time. They do not volunteer not unless they are the only available person to do the specific tasks. They are not willing to put extra effort to extend shift to be able to help the team achieve a specific deadline unless the manager made it mandatory. ***As a closing remarks, I just want to say that number of winnings or number of failures doesn't define a person. It is ones attitude! It is the way how a person interact with others. It is the person's way to manage or handle a specific situation.*** *By the way, that person I interviewed has successfully passed my Manager's interview and he is now part of our team. Like me, He don't have background as well with Windows applications upon joining but he is currently performing well because he has good attitude!*

We rented the entire resort‽ Date: November 17, 2021 Yesterday, I have published about our quick unplanned get-away. This will be the second and last part of it. https://read.cash/@Khing14/the-unplanned-get-away-731b6729 As I've shared in my aforementioned article that we spend our night at the resort. I actually started to write that article at around 11PM yesterday and was able to publish it an hour later. I slept at around 8PM and accidentally woke-up at 11PM. But then, I struggled going back to sleep. At around 2AM, my husband woke up. He heated some water and ask me to have a coffee. Since we are not able to bring some mugs (intentional), we just used the cup noodles' cup. We're not a fan of 3 in 1 coffee mix hence I brought pure coffee powder, sugar, and powdered milk as our creamer. I prepared two cups, one for me and one for my husband. We're both enjoying our coffee while having some talks about our experience because it is our first time to spend night in a resort with our kids, my youngest son woke up. Since I'm just half-way done with my coffee, I took him out of the bed and carry him, allowing him to latch, hoping he will fall asleep again. He get-up and started playing already. My husband went back to bed after finishing his coffee. I felt sleepy a bit at that time, however, my youngest son don't want to go back to bed yet. While my son is busy playing, I went out of our KUBO, and started to take some clicks. I faced the sea and noticed the moon light reflecting beautifully in the sea water. Just the same with the paintings I usually see anywhere! I am so happy that I am able to capture the moon set. I am suppose to wqtch the sunset and wanted to capture some image of it however, I forgotten that Nasugbu Batangas is located at the WEST which means, I will never see the beautiful sunrise from there. So while staring at the sky, I just find this coconut tree giving a good view in my bare eyes. It is around 5 in the morning already when I took that shot. I've noticed that the sun is nearly up hence I asked my youngest son to go back to bed. And luckily, he's in with my invitation this time. I've set my alarm at 7:00AM to let the kids run around the sand as early as possible. Our check-out is at 12 noon, so the plan is we will take lunch by 11:00AM so that we're all full while on our way home. Here is what the sea looks like in the daylight. The kids had fun scooping sands and throw it anywhere. At around 9:00AM, since it's too hot already in the sea and the waves are also getting bigger, we decided to go back to the resort and just trabsfer to the pool. My husband and I realized that it is more ideal to go into an outing like this on weekdays to avoid the crowd. And as you can clearly see from the above picture, we are the only ones using the pool at that time till we left. I even teased my husband: *Oh! By the looks of it, it's like we rented the entire resort! We are the only ones swimming freely in the pool!.* *"Asensado ang pamilya natin ah! Solo ang resort!"* While the kids and I are busy swimming, my husband is busy preparing our lunch already. He just grilled some marinated chicken and pork belly as our viand. And then grilled some ripe bananas so that we have something to eat while we are on our way later on. We left the resort 10 minutes before our check out time. We ensured not to exceed with our time because their extension price is a bit pricey. We need to pay 200 pesos per hour for the KUBO and pay the 150 entrance fee again per head. So to avoid on those hustle, at around 10:30AM, I decided to take a bath and fix myself already. And then while I am packing all our clothes and belongings, my husband managed to fix our kids. After fixing majority of our things, we decided to eat our lunch. Before the resort allow us to leave, they did a quick inspection to our rented KUBO first. Our travel time is not that long actually. It just took 30 minutes drive from Nasugbu to Tagaytay. I was saddend when I saw how taal volcano looks like. Most of it are still covered with ashes. You can not see any green area from my spot. And that concludes our unplanned get-away. For those who are interested with the resort's name, it's called as BERNABEACH RESORT, located at Nasugbu, Batangas. It's kubo rate is 2000 overnight (our check-in time is 2PM and check-out time is 12noon). Here is how it looks like: It has one room which can accomodate for 4 to 6 pax. There are 2 beds, 4 pillows and 3 blankets provided as well. It has only one socket is available inside so good thing we brought extension wires. You will be charged 200 for each electric appliances that you wanted to bring inside the kubo like rice cooker, fan, etc. Oh! And by the way, speaking of fan, there is one available stand fan inside the kubo. So if in case you are nkt able to bring yours, there's nothing to worry about! Thank you so much for your non-ending support guys! I really appreciate it!

The Unplanned Get-away Date: November 15, 2021 For some of you who are able to read my previous article "English is my weakness, shall I feel ashamed?" might be able to recall that I've mentioned there about my block leaves this week. I am in straight 5 days holiday this week (yahoo!) because it is mandated by the firm to take 5 consecutive days leave so to make sure that everyone have time to unwind and used up all our leave balance prior the year-end. https://read.cash/@Khing14/english-is-my-weakness-shall-i-feel-ashamed-271670aa Then laat Saturday night, after dinner, me and my husband had a chance to talk about my block leaves. He asked me what I wanted to do to make it worth it. And of course, my response is like this: ***"If there are affordable beaches nearby, I wanted to spend overnight there with the kids."*** And wish granted! He tried to google some affordable beaches in Batangas with affordable rooms where we can sleep and stay overnight. And he bumped in this resort. *I won't disclose the resort's name for now. Saka nalang kapag nakauwi na kami, for security purposes. Kala mo naman makikidnap eh noh?* My husband showed me the resort and he told me, ***we will just get a kubo worth 2,000 PHP, it doesn't have aircon.*** And so I responded : ***Deal! I'm okay with it! Given that the resort is near the sea shore, for sure, it's cold there during night time and hence AC is not necessary for the kids.*** We have decided that we'll go to the beach Monday afternoon (after my eldest son and daughter's online class). And so, it's final! My husband contacted the beach resort's hotline and booked for a reservation. The check in time is Monday 2pm and check out is 12 noon the next day. Here comes the Monday. My husband cooked and prepared already our packed meals. Basically, I told him to cook adobo becauae we all know that it can last long. He also grilled some fishes. And then I boight gardania and peanut butter for our breakfast the next day and 4 pcs cup noodles to sip while enjoying the view of the beach. He prepared 2 adobo meals. First one is pork adobo and then the other one is pusit adobo. We already bring cooked rice because what we're planning to do is right after the kids class, we will immediately leave. Then the kids can take their lunch inside the car while we're travelling to the destination. I actually expected to arrive in the place by 3PM since we are able to leave the house past 12 noon already but to my surprise, our travel time is very short as compared to what we both are expecting. We arrived in the place at aroun 1:50 PM in the afternoon. That means, our travel time just took less than 2 hours. Upon arriving, my husband payed for the "kubo" and we fixed allnour things first in there. My husband and I took our lunch as well. At around 3:00PM, since the kids are so excited to swim, I've changed all their clothes and accompany them to the resort's kiddie pool. I told them that the sun will burn them if we will go to the sea because it is still too hot around that time. We transfered to the sea around 5Pm in the afternoon. They really enjoyed to ride in the waves. My youngest son enjoyed playing in the sand. At around 5:30 in the afternoon, i noticed that the sun is started to set already. Hence I told my husband that I will go and change already because I'm going to capture some pictures. Let me show you some of my clicks. I really appreciate my phone's camera because it was able to capture the sunset in nearly realistic view of it. I really loved the sunset. It's so calming. Since it's getting dark already, my husband and the kida decided to transfer in the pool area again. My eldest son is missing in action because he is so busy playing with the other kids. So in that phot is my daughter, my loving husband, and my youngest son. My youngest son is actually chillin already when I took that picture and hence I told them to get put of the water and fix themselves for dinner already. I first took my youngsst son. Washed him and changed his clothes and then followed by my daughter. My eldest son is big enough already and he can take care of himself hence I do not care for him anymore (charot lang). After we ate our dinner, it's around 7:00 in the evening when we decided to walk around. The resort is quite small actually hence there not that much view inside. The kids loves to walk around and look for any interesting view. I do not know how to call this area in the resort but since we saw the chrismas decorations, my kids are so attracted to them. We took a remembrance of course. My eldest son is missing in action again but we do have a family picture actually it's on my husband's phone. A stranger kindly voluntered to take 3 shots for us. That would be all for tonight folks. My husband and the kids are sound asleep already hence I think I needed to as well. We're planning to walk in the sea shore at 5:00AM and watch the sunrise from there. I'm probably going to share it in my next article. See you there!

There is always Two sides of a thing Date: November 14, 2021 Did you ever experienced of being judged by the people around you even though they don't know what really happened yet? They did not heard the exact details from you, yet they've spreading false information about it already. In this judgemental world, for us to be able to survive in the challenges of life, we need to have a better judgement of a situation. We should always look into two sides and not just focus on what's just in front of you. Image source https://www.google.com/search?q=rotten+apple.good.in.front&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&prmd=ivsxn&sxsrf=AOaemvIbM19wVqzOV27cvayLvsneIS7ceg:1636909615145&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjbyY7Bq5j0AhXur1YBHTN3DFYQ_AUoAXoECAIQAQ&biw=384&bih=718&dpr=2.81#imgrc=OSXUlRXOkxxqYM Just look at the image above. The apple looks perfect in front, but the real thing is, half of it was rotten, useless, and cannot be eaten. Scammers has two sides Scammers nowadays uses the same style as the image of the apple shown above. They would appear professional in front of the prospect victim so he or she won't doubt him or her and believe in everything the scammer says. They will dress really well for them to look professional. They sound must speak with confidence and use all their effort to pursuade their victim and eventually fall in their trap. Hence the two sides of a scammer is, first their professional act and second is their bad intention. Stories has always two sides This is based on my personal experience. Most of the people or let me be specific in this case, most of my relatives on my father side thought me of having bad traits. They see me as bad daughter, selfish sister, and like a bastard who doesn't care about giving back with my parents. And why did my relatives got this impression of me? Because they choose to always listen to the other side of a story. They don't to listen to my own and original version. Few years back, my youngest sibling actually lives with us. I took him from the province because as you may all know, job opportunities are very rare in rural areas like our place. I supported her all the way from her job application to her allowance when she has started with his work. I am always telling her to save for her future and for her daughter that's why I did not urger her to pay some of our bills. Actually there's even some time that she would borrow me 500 pesos or 600 pesos because she said, she lend her salary to her coworker who is a single mom, etcetera. Everything is going fine until one day, she didn't went home right after her work. I tried to contact her by all means but no luck. I am so worried about her that time. I cannot even sleep because I used to think the possible things that could happen to her. She's a girl and who knows, nowadays, there are lots of bad guys out there. I tried contacting her work but the guard on duty said that she's out already. When she got home, she said that she went into her colleague's birthday party and since she drank already, she decided to sleel over there. That incident happened again and again until one day, I gave her a final warning. I told her that if she will not change, and if she will do it again, I will pack all her things and put it outside of our house. She can never step inside of our house ever again. But God knows that I've only said those words because I wanted her to change her habit of not going home when she wanted to. But then again, my sister is really testing my patience. She did it again!..and so I told her to start finding apartment on where she would stay. I told her that she needs to separate to us so that I won't wait all night for her everytime she decided to sleep over with her colleague's house. And what happened was, she told my father that I am evicting her already outside of our house. That we do not wanted her to stay with us. But, she didn't admitted to my father the reason why we came up to that decision. And then one day, I tried to look for her phone and I couldn't forget what my father has told her. It's not the eaxct words but the same thought. ***"Sige neng, umalis ka nalang dyan. Hindi ka nila kapamilya kaya umalis ka nalang dyan. Papadalhan kita ng pangdown mo sa bahay, maghanap ka na ng malilipatan mo".*** I felt so upset with my father when I read the words "***hindi ka nila kapamilya***". Inner side of me is yelling: ***what?! After everything I've done to give her a better future, that's what my father thought of me? I took him from our province to open her path to better oportunities! After all, they thought of me as if I don't look my sister as my family? I AM JUST TRYING TO FIX HER! I am just trying to give her lesson!*** ***Or could it be the other way around? That I am not fanily to them?*** `My father is an OFW in Saudi Arabia that time.` I tried to explain to my father my version of the story, but he do not want to believe in me. He keep on thinking that it could be my husband who don't want my sister to live with us. And since my father's life is also an open book to his siblings, and of course the version that was relayed to them is whatever the version that my father has chosen to believe with. Up until now, that impression of some of my relatives to me remains the same. However, I've read a quote previously saying that "it is not your responsibility to always explain yourselves to others ". I do not have to defend myself to them. They can beleive to whatever they wanted to believe. They can look into which side they wanted to see. And hence, I just go with the flow now with a hope that someday, they are going to discover the truth and they will see the real side of me.

Wear your mask, Wear your smile Date: November 14, 2021 *This article was inspired by @Jane article* *Smile through pain* *.* https://read.cash/@Jane/smile-through-pain-8cc1614c Nowadays, atleast for those who live in the Philippines, you might already know and well aware that wearing facemask when you're outside is a must at all times, except when you're eating or drinking of course. It is mandated by the government to prevent the spread of corona virus disease (covid-19). While to some, specially those who are in the upper class and in the middle class, wearing mask is nothing unusual, to some, specially to those who are in the lower class section of the society, it's more of a burden and additional expenses only. Anyways, I don't want to confuse you as to what this article is all about hence let's divert our discussion to my topic. It's about the common, natural, and free mask everyone can havep, which is "a smile". Filipino is well known to be one of the happiest person in the world. We always smile despite of being down. We always smile despite of the problems we have. We smile despite of being embarrased. We always smile despite of the hardships and trouble life has brought to us. We always smile despite of the very unfortunate things that happened to us. I am not saying that we don't cry. We cry a lot as well. But we always find ways to wear our sweetest smile in front of the others. We usually cry secretly. As long as we are still able to bear the pain, we will choose to keep it inside and mask it with a smile so that the other people would think that we are okay. Smile is one of our greatest weapon in facing our problems. Smile is contagious! **The perfect example to prove that smile is contagious is when a baby smiles at you, you will surely smile back at him or her right?.** I believe we smile amid the difficulties because it's already part of our culture to always smile. It's somehow part of our being hospitable I guess. We smile to make other happy. We smile to enlighten our environment and hence to lighten up our mood and so as the others mood as well. When we bumped into someone that we didn't see for a long time, what is the first thing that we used to do? **SMILE.** When we greet our visitors, we always greet them with a? **SMILE.** It is usually our way of welcoming them, give them our brightest look and wear our **SMILE**. When someone smiles at us, we always tend to smile back. That's why I can say that smile is contagious. We Filipinos are always positive or I think I would rather say, we always see the positive even in a worst of a situation. We always have a positive outlook in life because we know that we always have our family behind us and are always there, ready to back us up in every decision we made and in every struggles that we're going through. I just want to say that despite the facemask that we have to wear everytime we step out of our house, don't forget to still wear your BIG smile and share it with others. Yes, they won't see how big it is but remember that your eyes always reflects the same. When you smile, your eyes smiles too!

ENGLISH is my weakness! Shall I feel ashamed? Date: November 13, 2021 I will be on block leave next week. It's a 5-day consecutive leaves. We are required to take block leave because as much as possible, our company wants us to unwind a bit from our 1 year worth of hardwork. It is mandatory and we have to conply accordingly. In preparation for my block leave, I have conducted a Knowledge Transfer session with my colleagues. The purpose of the session is to familiarize them with the stuffs I usually do during my shift in APAC business hours. Part of my duty being the APAC shifter is to attend in a ready for business call and report the status of each of our supported applications. It is important for me to relay the correct steps and techniques to my colleagues because I've already set a bar to our Senior Managers. My manager told me that his boss walked to his desk one day and told him how he was impressed with the way I present our applications' status during that ready for business call. And that impression I made for our team is what I wanted to maintain eventhough I am not the one to represent our application in the call. I wanted the senior management to see our team being one of the best team in our department. Every Friday njght, we have a team meeting where each one of us has to present the work that each of us has done all throughout the week. Of course I reported the knowledge transfer session that I have conducted with my colleagues. And while I am talking I told my boss that we did a "mock presentation" so to give my colleagues an idea on how I am presenting our applications in that call. Everything's okay from my end. I am confident with what I am discussing at that time. But then suddenly, my Boss repeated the word "**MOCK**" into which I have pronounced as "**MAK**". So I elaborated what I meant which is like a practice presentation..and then he corrected my pronounciation and hence I learned that the correct pronounciation should be "**MOK**". They all laughed at me. Will you be able to guess what's my reaction? Do think I felt embarrased? Did I feel ashamed? Did I feel so low? Did it make me upset? Nah! None of the above! I actually joined them laughing at myself because since I learned how to read english, I read "**MOCK"** as "**MAK**" instead of "**MOK"**. My colleagues actually teased me and ask me who is my english teacher back then? Is she or he still alive? Is she or he still in the Philippines? And guess what? That quick moment of mispronounciation made them all laugh and I felt like everyones mood has changed. Ahahaha. And you know what? I felt proud of myself because I became my colleagues medium to enlighten their mood during our team meeting earlier. I was the first called out to present and I am happy to share that the happy mood stays with us till the end of our call! Eversince, during our one on one, I told him that I am not really good in grammar, I have poor twisted tongue, and I am not really good in english in general. But you know what? my Boss always is always opposing it. He keep on telling me the opposite of it, and he even told me oftenly that I am a star! That's how my Boss motivates me which help increase my confidence in speaking english. So to you my fellow readers and writers who are also struggling in speaking english, don't loose your confidence! It doesn't define our skills. It doesn't define how far we can go or how high we can soar. I know english is our universal language but we should never expect that all of us is fluent in speaking the same, because we do have different mother tongue. Oh! by the way, this reminded me of my experience here in read.cash during my first few weeks in here. I tried to submit my article to a community, but then the moderator **rejected** it. And you might already guessed what's her or his reason for rejecting it. The moderator said that my article has lots or grammatical error. He or she even suggested me to use **grammarly** to check and correct those grammatical error in my article which I also followed. I tried to resubmit my article on the same community after I fixed the grammatical errors via grammarly but for some reason, it is not working already.

From free phone to self-purchased phone Date: November 12, 2021 Ever since I purchased Sun Cellular Post-Paid plan last 2008, my mobile phone is always free every after 2 and 1/2 years. I always see to it that I am enjoying their loyalty program into which they are providing free handset every after contract renewal. Not only that, when I joined my current company, I received support phone and hence I handed over the phone I've acquired from Sun Cellular' s loyalty program to my father. But then due to lots of work-related applications installed in my support phone, it's performance is slowing down already. I cannot even open my messenger lately. It is also one of the reason why despite my interest to play earning games, I just can't because of my declining phone. And since I don't used to buying my own/personal phone, I always look forward on Sun Cellular' s loyalty program to have my current phone replaced. My sun post-paid is about to expire March next year (2022) and hence I inquired about my renewal because normally, 6 months prior the expiration of contract, customers are entitled to have the free handset already as part of their loyalty program. However, to my dismay, their process is kind of in hang state (unstable state) at the moment due to the recent merging of Sun Cellular and Smart merging. I've actually written an article about it and my disappointments thru this. I am so disappointed during that time. https://read.cash/@Khing14/a-customer-dissatisfaction-sun-cellular-postpaid-service-fb478e46 And since my phone's performance is slowly depreciating, I asked my husband if it's okay if I buy a new phone because I always struggle to use my current phone due to it's slowness and sometimes, it even hanged. And I think my husband is in the mood earlier when I complained about my phone's performance, he immediately answered "go ahead!". But of course, we do not have money at hand to pay in cash for it so expectedly, I'll just be using my credit card and enroll for an installment plan (payable for 1 year max). So he accompanied me to the mall earlier. We brought my youngest son (as always) but my husband and my son just stayed inside the car and patiently waited for me. I first went to ASUS stall but unfortunately, they don't have stocks and all their available units are laptops, or netbooks only. I passed by the huawei stall. I actually preferred huawei becuase it's quality is already tested however, the recent issued units of huawei do not have playstore or google hence I decided to look for more. And so I bumped into Samsung store. I roamed around and look on each of the unit's displayed in the store. My prospect unit is: Has RAM of 4G and above. Basically, my old phone's RAM is lower than 4G hence the slow performance even though there are only few applications installed and running. Has internal memory of atleast 64G. My old phone's internal memory is 32G only hence I need to periodically delete videos, pictures, and screenshots or else it would end up always prompting me "device is full" notification. Has a promising CPU. I am not expert on this one so I do normally just ask the personnel assisting me which is which. I mean which unit has a good cpu performance and do not cause overheated battery. Within the alloted budget. My budget is at most 2,000 PHP per month so in other words, the unit price must be maximum of 24000 PHP. Has a good quality camera. If you've bumped into kne of my noise.cash post, you might have noticed already that my picture quality is not that good. And hence this is one of the specs that I included in my list. Charger port is for type C charger. I always struggle with my old phone when I am in a hurry and needed to charge it because it's port is designed for micro USB. You need to insert the cord according to the shape of its tip. Unlike the type C port, you can insert the cord however you wanted. After same relevant discussion (more of question and answer) with one of the Samsung personnel who assisted me, I finally decided to get this Samsung A52s. It basically met all the criteria I have specified above. So I told them that I'll be using my credit card for my purchase and they happily told me that it's zero (0) percent interest. But then, only available for HSBC credit card is straight payment term hence I decided ti use my other credit card which is BPI. The transaction is so fast actually. The Samsung personnel did some demo to test and verify that the device or unit is in perfect working condition. And that's it! I went home with joy because finally, I will be able to enjoy using my phone already. I can install earning games that I want now!. So far, after few hours of using my new phone, I did not experienced or noticed any problems yet. And byvthe way, nithing to worry about because it has one year warranty as well. And oh! By the way , it has freebies as well. This 10,000 mAh powerbank worth of 1,400+PHP. I am so happy when I learned about the freebies. That's all for today. Many thanks for spending 5 minutes of your time in this page of mine! I'd be happy to exchange comments with you.

Be Productive! Say "NO" Date: November 11, 2021 I don't really have any topic to write today. But then this word "productivity" just popped up in my mind. There are times that we're not productive at all due to a lot of factors around us. But you know what? In my 13 years of experience in the I.T industry, there's one thing that I learned which helped increase my productivity at work. And it is to say "**NO**". Learn to say "NO" to people asking you a favor If someone comes around and ask a you a favor but then your workload is too full enough to accept another load, then you can always say "**NO**". If someone asked your help about something they know that you're good of, but then you're busy with your current project or work and you're trying to meet the deadline, say "NO". **Saying "NO" doesn't mean that you're selfish.** When you always entertain those people around you asking for your help, you'll just end-up missing your own deadline. You'll end-up not completing your own work on-time. You may never realize too soon that slowly, those people coming in asking for your small help are **stealing your precious time already**. And then at the end of the day, when you look in the progress of your work, you'll learn that you've lost a lot of time due to those distractions. Saying "NO" is your way of telling them that you also have your own priorities and urgent deadline that you are targeting. That you want to reserve your time and energy to your own work. Be honest to them and explain in a **gentle** way that you don't have enough bandwidth to help them. Saying "NO" doesn't mean being rude to those who are asking for your help. You must find the right words and the right tone so that you will not sound offending. Another option is, you can direct them to someone whom you know can help them as well and might say **YES** to them. In that case, you are still helping them (indirectly). Learn to say "NO" to Procrastination Delaying things can affect a person's productivity as well. *"Why not do it today than wait for tomorrow?"* I know that temptations are just around us. There are lots of distractions that will cause us procrastinate a thing. *Why not wash your dishes tonight? Why wait for tomorrow to do it?* *Why not do your laundry today if you're free than wait for the weekends where you're not sure if the weather will be as good as today?* *Why not pay your bills as early as now (if you have enough money), than wait for the due date to come?* Speaking of paying bills, I've experienced this once. I am supposed to pay my credit card bills every 28th of the month although their due date is every 4th of the following month. I am paying our credit card bills via GCASH. So here comes the 28th of September, my husband started to ask me *"did you pay our bills yet?"* but then my response is always *"Later, once my shift is over because I don't want to make any mistakes while paying it".* He's always doing it in a daily basis to remind me to pay our bills before the due date because I'm sure those who has credit card can relate that the late payment fee is costly (**more or less 500PHP** in my case). And my husband is also aware of it so we're trying to get rid of it that's why we schedule our payment every 28th of the month. And you know what? I missed it!. I missed the due date!. I am able to pay our bills on the **6th** of the following month (October). That means we're 2 days overdue!. I felt guilty at that point. And then my husband told me *"I told you to pay it even before the 30th but you're always delaying it, you didn't prioritized it".* So when my billing statement has been sent over the mail, I immediately checked if they charged me late payment fee on . And yes they charged me late payment fee on **5th** of October (the day after the due date). But then I am so thankful that they have reversed it right after I do my payment on **6th** of October. I felt relief when I saw the billing statement. I immediately relayed the information to my husband and he told me *"Lessons learned - next time, prioritize it over something else".*

Knee-Jerk Reaction Date: November 10, 2021 Our daily life is a continuous learning process. Admit it or not, in a day to day of interacting with others, we used to learn new stuffs. And I just want to share with you another addition to my vocabulary "knee-jerk reaction". Yesterday, my colleague and I are talking about my other colleague who used to chase us from time to time every time he wants something to be done immediately. We understand his concerns and not complaining about it, however, we also have our own projects and priorities that needs to be delivered. However, his daily chasing over mail seems already annoying, so we cannot avoid to make a small rant about him. He is soooo "kulet"!. That as if we're not doing any other stuffs when he demanded updates from us. And upon our conversation, my colleague just suddenly mentioned about the "knee-jerk reaction". Image source https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0337/8029/files/Knee_Jerk_large.png?886 He mentioned that somehow that colleague of us has this kind of attitude. This is the first time I've heard about this idiomatic expression, so to make sure my reply is aligned, I did a research on what does it mean. According to the free dictionary, knee-jerk reaction is an immediate reaction made without examining causes or facts. https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/knee-jerk+reaction My literal translation of this is "**impulsive behavior**". As you may see on the below definition of impulsive behavior based on healthline.com, it is almost the same on how the idiomatic expression "knee-jerk reaction" is being defined. https://www.healthline.com/health/mental-health/impulsive-behavior Oftentimes, we don't realize that we're becoming impulsive in making decisions. We've been carried away by our emotions, which sometimes lead us to an undesirable situation. **Impulsive Buying** You might experienced this already, that while walking around a mall, (you don't have any plans to spend money or buy some stuffs but you're there for specific reason) however, you accidentally spotted a thing that's on 50% sale!. And out of curiosity, you came across to check and inspect on that specific product. Then all of a sudden, you picked up the item and payed for it without hesitation or without thinking if that item is really needed or just an extra load of your house. That's what impulsive buying is. You don't have any plan to buy that thing, but temptations are all around and hence in just a finger snap, you realized that you have that item in your hand already. Impulsive Rating You bought a thing that you really like from an online seller. And when you tested it, you found out that it's working as expected. Without doing further inspection of the product, you then gave the seller a 5 star rating because the item that you purchased is proven to be working. But then soon enough when you started to use the other functionality of the item, you noticed that there's actually a damage and you suddenly realized that the item is not worth it!. I often experience this one. I once bought a blue tooth speaker from Shopee and as soon as I have received the parcel, I tested if I can connect successfully via blue tooth. After proving that the connection can be easily established and the sound is good, I gave the seller a perfect rating. But then within the same day, I realized that the volume control is not working properly. So until now, I am dealing with that broken volume control whenever I am using that speaker. Impulsive accusations I believe we all have experienced this. Sometimes, we tend to judge a person without looking for further justification if our judgement of that person is correct or not. We used to accuse them even though we don't have enough evidence to prove our accusations. We used to accuse a person because of our anger or the emotions we wear during the time of confrontation. Let's say in a crowded area where there's mix of professional people and few beggars. When I say professional, let's say they all wear formal dresses and wear ties. And then you suddenly lost your phone from your pocket, let's say. As soon as you realized that your phone is missing, who do you think will you accuse of stealing your phone? Will you ever accuse the person who wear ties and formal dress? Of course not! right? Because back in your mind, you thought that "why would they ever steal your phone if they can afford to buy it because they are well dressed". In our day to day struggles in this universe, we may experience knee-jerk reaction depending on the situation that we're dealing with. **Impulsive behavior** causes us to **over react** as well. But the important thing is, at the end of day, we should have learned from it and so that the next time, we could try to avoid committing the same mistake or showing insignifant reaction to a specific situation. We should always make a pause and think for a while before doing any actions. I have to end this article quickly because I heard from the other room that my kids are fighting again and looks like I need to do my another task as a mother - to be their **referee**. I heard someone's crying already.

Citronella - The Mosquito Repellant Date: November 8, 2021 I am not really in a good mood to write an article today. However, I am not able to publish one yesterday already so I need to overcome my laziness and look into may monthly goal (publish at least 1 article per day). Actually, I am not able to publish an article yesterday because I am too busy browsing shopee. I've got an interest to find a shop that sells live **citronella** plant. I became interested on this plant because I heard from @Gracia42 that this plant is effective in repelling mosquitoes. And as you all know, during this season in the Philippines where the weather is more cold outside, mosquitoes are noticeable to be roaming around. I've initially planned of buying a humidified and put in citronella oil to repel the mosquitoes inside our house. I bought the below cheap diffuser from Shopee last month but unfortunately, I am not able to buy essential oil. And this is how it looks like in actual. And so yesterday, upon finding a good shop that sells citronella oil, I thought of why not I buy a live plant instead and grow them and reproduce them so that no more mosquitos would come near our house? Then I can make my own solution from the live plants. It's more of a long term plan actually. I think I can save more if I will buy live citronella plant in the long run that buy ready made essential oil again and again. So I started searching for a live citronella plant from Shopee. I am not actually sure if it's safe to buy a live plant from an online store. This will be my first time to be honest. I bumped into a shop which is located just within Cavite area. And they are selling citronella plants in a very affordable price (80 PHP only). I ordered 2 pieces. I am thinking that in case the other one wouldn't survive, at least I still have a spare. I never seen citronella in my entire life yet hence I tried to search for it in google after placing my order. To my surprise, most of the results has an image like the below: Very far from what I ordered right? I worried a little bit and I am actually starting to think that the shop might be a scammer or not legit. So I searched and find some more images of citronella and internet gave me this. Fortunately, there are some in the picture that looks very the same of what I have ordered from Shopee hence I am able to breathe smoothly!. Looks like I found what I am looking for huh!. And so now, I am so excited to receive my parcel!. My first ever live plant sold from an online store. I hope it won't die after I transferred it into a pot. Once I've got bunch leaves of it, next in my project is to search on how to do a DIY citronella oil from citronella leaves. That will be all for now!. I hope I somehow shared some relevant information to you today :)..Another life hack to try! Cheap but effective (hopefully!)

* Fat Finger * Error Date: November 6, 2021 Hello everyone! I just finished my rest day overtime tasks and hence here I am, trying to achieve my daily goal which is to publish one article per day. This has been my goal since last month (October). However, due to different circumstances, I am not able to achieve it!. Out of 31 articles which is my target count because October has 31 days, I am able to publish 26 articles only. However, I am not upset because as I have said previously, the reason why I am setting my goals is just to draw a line that I'll try to follow. If I make it to my goal, then it's a success, but if not, then there's always next time.. By the way, did you ever heard of the term "Fat Finger Error"? Last Wednesday, my colleague who is based in London suddenly chatted me over teams chat: **"Hi Khone"** I saw that she's still typing hence I did not replied to her right away. I thought she noticed it and hence will correct it. But when she sent her next message, it's about our work thingy and hence I replied to her and acknowledged what she said. And then after a while, she sent me another message again saying: **"Sorry, I meant 'Hi Khing' - Fat Finger Syndrome"** It is my **first** encounter with these words so I searched for it and I am surprised that it seems to be a common term in trading but to the normal people, it just simply mean a typo error. Source https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/fat-finger-error.asp In my daily work where my fingers and my keyboard are my main medium or my main tool in my field of work as IT Analyst, I never had a day that I did not have a typo error. I am always experiencing it in chatting, sending emails and even creating documents (sometimes even in coding my programs). But what actually is the Iimpact of this in our writing? Image source http://s3.amazonaws.com/babypips-media-production/images/2015/03/Fotolia_68202470_Subscription_Monthly_M-1.jpg A single typo can change the meaning of a sentence. ***Missing letters.*** There's one instances where I am exchanging conversation with my Line Manager over chat, and my introduction should be "**Hello Sir**", but I am not sure what happened to letter "O" and guess what, I sent "**Hell Sir**" instead of **Hello Sir**:).. See that? from a supposedly polite salutation, it sounds like I am cursing my line manager. Good thing I did not used exclamation point in the end. I apologized right away and explained that it's just a typo. ***Fingers not coordinating well with the instructions coming from the brain.*** Did you ever experienced those instances where when you proof-read the message that you sent, you realized that it has missing word? Let's say for example, you supposedly say "**Please beware of dog**" but then what you've typed in is missing the "of" and so what you've sent is "**Please beware dog**". Unintentional and you're confident that your sentence is correct because that's what your brain has dictated your fingers but your fingers seems to have forgotten to input some of the relevant words, so, unintentionally, you've changed the message unintentially (just now I've got a typo). I supposed to say unintentionally but my fat fingers missed some letters again. A single typo can cause you a huge loss. Imagine this incident. You're paying your bills which just worth **1,000** PHP but you typed in 4 zeroes (1**0,000**) instead of 3 zeroes (1, **000**) without realizing it until you've already pressed "**enter**" or the "**confirm**" button and received the confirmation receipt. Instantly, you have lose **9,000** PHP. How to cope with these? **Always** ****PROOFREAD**** I know our fingers are always excited to press the "**Enter**" button or the "**Send"** button but we must make it a habit to always proofread your email, chat, text or letter before sending it. Admittedly, it's hard to do most of the time specially if you're in a hurry replying to someone but then again, proofreading will actually: save our time and effort for the possible rework caused by multiple or recurring typos. save you from potential huge loss. avoid misspelled words due to missing letters. prevent changing the meaning of the sentence unintentionally by missing some words or phrase in our sentence. By proofreading, we always make sure that the messages that we're trying to convey are properly translated into letters. I do have lots of embarrassing moments due to fat finger error but I thing it's best to share them some other time because it's already 3:00AM as of this writing. How about you? How often do you experience a typo error? I know it's more prone to those who are using mobile phones because the screen is too small.

The over-killed Germs! Date: November 6, 2021 Time check: It's 2:19 Am already as of this writing yet my youngest son and I are still both awake. I've actually fallen asleep already earlier, I guess that's around 10:00 PM. I don't have plan to sleep yet actually because my son is still busy playing in our room. However, I just don't know what happened but the last time I can recall, I am watching PBB Kumunity videos over my phone. And then suddenly, my son woke me up and complaining about his brother who don't wanna play with him anymore because as per him "kuya man *(means naman)* sleep sleep" . In english, it means "my eldest brother want to sleep already". And when I looked at the wall clock, I realized that it's past 12 midnight already. Oh my God!..I am sleeping for 2 hours already!. I looked around in my tiny room and saw the mess that my son left with me. My son then left again and went to his brother's and sister's room (my eldest son and daughter are just sharing bedroom) . I still felt so sleepy and hence not in the mood to get-up yet. and then all of a sudden, I've got struck by a loud noise from the other room. I checked on it and it's my youngest son and his sister playing in the other room while their eldest brother are trying to get some sleep (ignoring them playing around). I am not really in the mood to get-up yet because I am still so sleepy but due to that loud sound (as if a banged door or something), I was forced to stand-up and check it out. After ensuring that everything's okay from the other room, I went back to my mini-office room/bedroom afterwards and lie down again, tried to get some sleep again. I let him play with his sister because during school days, he's usually playing alone at night because his sister and brother needs to sleep 10PM the latest. *But then, the second thought of me is thinking about my 2 kids that are still actively playing.* I heard that they both went downstairs and looks like they turned on the television and watched some videos. My daughter knows how to operate our television already and knows how to search movies in Netflix because she is knows how to read and write already. I just let them play downstairs without my supervision. And I am still trying to get some sleep but I just can't. I always have this second thought in my mind worrying about my 7 year-old daughter and 3 year-old son playing together alone (downstairs). I am worried that they might play the electric socket, or anything they can do because there's no adult supervising their moves. After few minutes, I felt like I needed to pee hence I decided to went downstairs. And I am surprised with what I saw. Charaannnnn!!!! A lot of cut-out papers on the floor, biscuit wrappers are everywhere, there even like a "dingdong" peas nuts and corn bits on the floor. I quickly sweep the floor after I peed. I am not really in the mood to do some house chores. I felt so lazy and so tired enough to do those cleaning. It's 5 consecutive days where I've been extending my shift at work hence I really felt the effect of it today. Suddenly, my youngest son approached me and told me that he has poop on his diaper. I then tried to touch it to confirm and oh!., he pooped indeed!. I then put in water to our pot and waited for it to boil. Once it boiled, I transferred it to a bucket of water and ask my son to come with me in the comfort room so that we can wash and clean his poop. I cleaned him thoroughly and then brush his teeth afterwards. Because my plan is to bring him upstairs afterwards so that we could initiate a sleep already. After brushing his teeth, I told him to wash his hands. He knows the protocol already when I told him to was his hands. He will rub his hands with soap. Everything went well so far. He rubbed his hands with soap and rinsed it with water afterwards. I thought it's done already so I told me "let's go na". But then he refused to come with me. Instead, he took the soap and rubbed his hands again and then rinse afterwards. *He seems to be enjoying rubbing his hands with soap.* **Germs over-kill!** Above photo is his nth time already. A funny thought came up to my mind while watching him continuously repeating the cycle of rubbing his hands with soap and then rinse it and then do it again. ***"Hindi tatalaban ng COVID-19 itong batang ito, over-kill na ang germs sa kanya eh"*** I smiled secretly after those thoughts. Anyways, the latest update as of this writing, it's around 3:16 AM here already in the Philippines. We are already upstairs and both in our room, but he's still busy playing with his cars. And that's should be all for now, just sharing a bits of our night. A night in a day of a mom with a toddler who has an owl-like body clock. Wide awake at night, but sound asleep in the day time. If you're finding some more articles to read, please come and visit my sponsor's page as well. They have lots of articles which might suite your field of interest. Thank you so much again for all your time and support. Please feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts with me. I know there are moms out there who can relate with what I have shared tonight, I mean this morning!.

Sumigaw nang Pabulong! Date: October 10, 2021 ***I'm so sorry for my non-filipino readers. I just want to write an article that's written in my own language, using my mother tongue which is Filipino (Tagalog). If you want to understand the concept of this article, you may want to translate it. You can use a tool such as*** ***google translate*** ***to make an english translation of this one.*** https://translate.google.com/ Siguro nagtataka kayo kung bakit October 10 ang nakalagay sa date ko pero ang petsa ngayon ay November 4 na. At masasabi kong napakachallenging talaga.

I felt sad because of my withered plants. I've been busy at work the past 3 days hence I am not able to visit my plants and earlier this morning, I was surprised that some of them have already withered. No one took an initiative to water them and I also forgot to ask them to water them for me. But then again, my sponsors are coming their way to brighten up my day. Thank you so much @Jeansapphire39 for the renewal and @Mickey.med for considering me and added me to your list.

My October Metrics Report : $BCH in My Read.Cash Wallet Date: October 4, 2021 It's late already (around 12:09 AM to be exact as of this writing). I am not able to write earlier because I really felt tired right after my shift (my work). I've extended again my shift today for like 4 hours. It's been 3 consecutive days already that I am extending my shift due to the current issues we are facing at work caused by the DST clock change. It's exhausting already , I mean it!. But then, I don't have a choice but to do my job. Anyways, let's not talk about my work for now, I wanna forget about it for a bit. I am able to recharge a bit earlier because I am able to take a 1 hour nap around 7PM to 8PM. I can't really resist the tiredness earlier hence right after I shutdown my PC, I go straight to bed. As promised yesterday, I'm gonna share the second part of my October metrics report which covers how much I have earned in total from last month. My **26** articles was able to accumulate a total of **$159.86.** And how much of it went into my wallet? I've got **$130.47.** That means, I've spent around **$29** in upvoting other articles and to those who bother to spend a minute or less to leave a comment on my articles last month. I am able to accumulate **0.218 785 44 BCH** last month while last September, I only got **0.154 095 03 BCH** . See below snapshot. That means, I've got around **0.06** BCH more last October compared to September earnings. If you will look in the USD equivalent, difference is quite significant and noticeable because market became so bearish last September. For my sponsorships, I have three addition in my list. From **10** writers last September, I have total of **13** as of this writing. Whereas for my sponsors, from **8** sponsors last October, I've got 3 more sponsors as of this writing. Which means, I have **11** sponsors in total. Wow!. Thank you so much for all your generosity guys! Furthermore, I am proud to say that from triple one (**111**) friends last September, I have now **166** subscribers!. Wow! Thank you all for your support as always. I know lots of you have been my constant commenters and you might also noticed that I've already been your constant commenter as well. Many thanks for spending time reading my articles (as always) and exchanging conversation with me. You're one of the reason why I am enjoying my tenure in this platform and I always look forward to have a chat with you in a daily basis. However, as you may aware of, most of the times, I am occupied with my work and my house chores but as soon as I am able to find some spare time, my agenda for sure is either read.cash and noise.cash. *I am not good in names to be honest hence I often mix you up with the other users.* October Goals Achievement Report ****Write and publish atleast 1 article per day = Failed.**** I am able to publish a total of **26** articles only for the whole month of October whereas the expected or target is **31** articles because October month has 31 days. I have few misses due to important occasions that I needed to prioritize .The latest is my husband's birthday celebration at the beach which I featured in my article few days ago entitled : Quick Getaway! https://read.cash/@Khing14/quick-getaway-456a5629 ****Earn at least $3 per day = Failed.**** There are days where I am able to cash out **$2,** most of the times **$3,** there are times where I've got **$4,** the highest I've got in just a day so far is **$8** but it only happened once**. However ,** there's also a day or two that I've got **$0 - none at all.** ****HODL all my BCH earnings = Failed.**** As I have mentioned in my Quick Getaway! article, I sold 0.2 of my BCH asset because we used it as our additional budget on my husband's birthday celebration (at the beach) last October 31st. As much as I wanted to HODL, I cannot also resist my want to go out and unwind for a while and smell the breeze of air near the shore. https://read.cash/@Khing14/quick-getaway-456a5629 ****Gain more Friends from the platform = Achieved!.**** I believe, of all my goals last month, this is the only one that I am able to achieve :).. I have more friends now in this platform. I felt comfortable exchanging comments with them already and they are like my daily virtual friends whom I constantly talking with whenever I've got some spare time. Despite my failures against my October goals, I still felt motivation to continue and stay active in this platform. In fact, I even able to convince my two cousins to join in. Shout out to @EmAeDi_13 - a good poet and story writer and @Gracia42 - a high school teacher . Please join me in welcoming them folks!. **And that concludes my Monthly report!. Thank you all for your time.** *Writing completion time: 01:08 AM*

My October Metrics Report - Part 1 Date: November 2, 2021 I've been so busy at work since yesterday (November 1, 2021). Last Sunday, October 31, 2021, the Daylight Savings Time in United Kingdom has ended. This has impacted all of our production servers because they are all using London time zone. Previous Daylight Savings Time actually went fine. We did not encountered any issue after the clock change. But it's quite noisy this time around. We had an outage yesterday and our scheduled tasks did not triggered. None of them have triggered actually. Hence we needed to manually run each one of them. There are more than a hundred schedule tasks that we needed to run manually and it's just exhausting because we need to run them in properly order and on their correct schedule, or else, our data will be messed. And since the issue hasn't been fixed yet (though it was already escalated to the Microsoft team), we needed to do the same manual run today. Hence, I needed to extend my shift again to help the team. Yesterday, I've extended till 7:30 PM. My shift is supposedly till 12:00 noon only yesterday while today is till 03:00 PM only but I needed to extend due to the mentioned issue. So from yesterday, I am able to acquire 7.5 hrs (yesterday) + 4 hrs (today) overtime!. Yahooo!... Anyways, it's time to report my read.cash October earnings. Number of Published Articles: 26 This month, I became more busy as compared with last month. My workload is heavier this month and hence there were days that I am not able to publish an article. Last month, I am able to publish a total of 27 articles. That means, this month is 1 lesser as compared to last month's metrics report Let me share the top 5 lowest and top 5 highest earner articles of mine for the month of October. Top 5 lowest earnings article for October: My Not so Lazy Weekend! - **$1.46** *This is the article that I've written to share my lazy weekend!. The day where I am able to get 8 hours of complete sleep, did a movie marathon via Netflix, spent quality time with the kids, and do some other stuffs not related to work :). I think this is the time when Rusty hadn't visited multiple users and stuck to few numbers of read.cash users.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/my-not-so-lazy-weekend-d1c117a1 Random Questions to a Parent - **$2.6** *Articles where I answered some random questions that can be asked to a parent like me.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/random-questions-to-a-parent-f90fcf3c October-Yan SMART Goals - **$3.15**. *This is the article where I featured my OCTOBER goals. And upon revisiting on it, sad to say but most of the goals were not achieved. But it's fine. My purpose of setting goals is actually to set my path. We are able to earn BCH for free and at the same time, we can learn the basic stuffs about cryptocurrency and how to buy and sell without staking the money that's from our own pocket but by using the money that we have earned from read.cash and noise.cash for free.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/bitcoin-cash-bch-earners-dont-have-a-college-degree-pre-requisite-b2b7d751 A customer dissatisfaction : Sun Cellular Postpaid Service - **$4.14** *I am so disappointed with sun cellular when I write this one. I am supposed to renew my postpaid plan with sun cellular and as part of their loyalty program, I supposedly receive a new handset which I've been enjoying since year 2008. But then I am very disappointed to know that they do not have stocks now and will not have any until their migration to SMART has completed (no definite ETA yet). And hence, I've chose to express my frustrations via this article.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/a-customer-dissatisfaction-sun-cellular-postpaid-service-fb478e46 Top 5 highest earnings article for October: Return To Office Postponed : Thank you Boss! - **$11.52** *This is the article I have created out of my super happy feeling when I read the news from my Manager that the return to office decision has been left with the team Manager and luckily, our Manager chose to postponed it!. Yes, he heard all our concerns, worries, and sentiments of the Return to Office notice. My colleagues and I are all so thankful to our Manager.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/return-to-office-postponed-thank-you-boss-c36ffeb3 Ooppsss! I did it again! - **$9.66**. *I've written this article last Friday if I may recall it correctly. This is where I have shared the commendations that I've received from one of our customers when I was moved to EMEA shift last week because my colleague who use to cover it went on a five days straight vacation leave.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/ooppsss-i-did-it-again-6a4203b0 12th Wedding Anniversary! Parang Kailan Lang *-* **8.79** *This is all about my husband and I's 12th wedding anniversary last October 22, 2021. I've featured in this article our humble beginning as husband and wife and the progress we've made till now. The multiple level-ups that we've experienced and went through as a couple.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/12th-wedding-anniversary-parang-kailan-lang-519447ac Paranoid about being Paranoid **- $8.78** *This is the article where I have mentioned the major instances that triggers my paranoia. But I believe those fears are just part of me as a mother. I worried a lot for my kid's safety.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/paranoid-about-being-paranoid-85d98a53 There is always another way! - **$8.25** *This one is about the struggles I've experienced to make my automation work (work-related initiative). I am able to resolve it by looking into a different way of invocation rather than pushing through with the code that I've initially written. In short, I've rewritten parts of my code to take another path and luckily, it works and it's been working up to this writing.* https://read.cash/@Khing14/there-is-always-another-way-44b2daa9 And that's my top 5 lowest and highest earner articles!. I just realized that it's already 5 minutes read long so I will cut this off from here and continue to write the other details about my October metrics report by tomorrow. I don't want to bore you of course with a super long article. Tomorrow, I'm going to feature the total amount I am able to earn for this month and how much of it went into my wallet because part of it went to my upvotes of course to support other writers in this platforms. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who keep on supporting my articles and to my generous sponsors as well. You may want to visit their pages if you still have some spare time!. For sure, you'll find lots of interesting articles that they've published as well!
