Quick Getaway! Date: November 1, 2021 Hi everyone!. Hello to my fellow readers and writers!. For some of you whom I've been constantly exchanging comments almost in a daily basis might have noticed my absence the entire day yesterday. It's mainly because, it's my husband's natal day yesterday and we had a simple celebration at the beach!. After more than 2 years, my kids and I are finally able to go to the beach again!. It is actually unplanned. Last Friday morning, I've asked my husband what's his plan for his birthday. I knew ever since that he really wanted to celebrate it at the beach but due to lack of budget, he cannot decided easily. His budget on hand is 5,000 PHP only. As you're already aware of, he has a little business and has 4 workers, and of course since it is his birthday, we have to include everyone around us in the celebration and that hinders his want to celebrate his birthday to the beach. After our quick computation, we needed at least 11,000 PHP to be able to execute that plan. 1000 PHP - for the diesel 2500 PHP - for the cottage 500 PHP - for the facilitator 7,000 PHP - for the food The beach resort we're aiming to go to is like 2 hours drive away from home. And since his budget on hand is only 5,000 PHP, we both all know that the beach celebration is not possible. But then, after few minutes of thinking (like 5 minutes? hahahaha), I have decided to withdraw some of my noise.cash and read.cash earnings. I sold 0.2 BCH last Friday. And as we all know, BCH price last Friday slightly went down. I sold the 0.2 BCH at the price of 29061.40 PHP per BCH. That corresponds to total amount of 5,812.28 PHP only (less the 29.06 PHP transaction fee). I told my husband that I'm going to give him 7, 500 PHP so that he will have 1,500 PHP extra allowance for that day. Since I have like 1,900 PHP FIAT money in my wallet, I decided to sell 0.2 BCH so I could be able to send the 7,500 PHP to my husband's GCASH wallet. *We've actually wanted to spend overnight in the beach resort however, we can't because as I have said, it's unplanned and I've got some commitments (rest day overtime work) last Saturday. I am anticipating that we will just celebrate his birthday here in our house (as per the usual set-up) hence I've agreed with my colleagues that I'll cover our Saturday work and I didn't even filed vacation leave for today (November 1, 2021).* And so, I've cashed out a total of 7,500 PHP and sent it directly to my husband's GCASH account. Good thing it has no transaction fee. I did not able to capture the foodies that we have prepared but it's more of marinated pork and chicken meat to be grilled in the location. We also have some eggplants and banana (saba). We've also planned to bring hotdogs for the kids but then we forgot to!. I've also cooked lumpiang shanghai (made of ground chicken meat). I've actually shared a quick post in noise.cash while cooking it last Saturday night. Oh!. I almost forgotten!. and we also have some buttered garlic shrimp (my favorite) and some yummy longganisa!. Actually, I have decided not to sleep last Saturday after my work because we've finished at around 11:30 PM already. So instead of taking a nap, I decided to start cooking the lumpiang shanghai that I prepared. I just wanna share a quick story of that alcoholic drinks as well that you can see on the table from the above picture. My husband actually asked me to buy Alfonso Light 1. He told me to buy 3 bottles of Litro. And so I bought 3 bottles of it. I saw Alfonso 1 in the print so I thought that 1 stands for the content. And when my husband saw it, he's quite disappointed. He asked me: *"why did you bought the smaller ones? I told you to buy 1 liter."* I felt ashamed of myself ...ahaha! That's one of disadvantages of being not used to alcoholic drink. I am not drinking any types of alcohol or wine (not even a single sip) and hence I do not have any idea on how they are being called of. So my husband ended up with buying 1 liter more. At the beach, I did not have much time to walk around actually. It is because my toddler seemed to have loved the ambiance and has slept most of the time. I am only able to step unto the water at around 3:00 PM in the afternoon already when my youngest son (my toddler) woke up from a long sleep. Due to that, I don't have much pictures to share with you aside from this one which I grabbed from my husband's FB post. That picture was captured few minutes before we left the place. I asked my husband to take some memories of the event. My eldest son and my daughter enjoyed the beach much. My eldest son burnt his skin so much due to non-stop swimming :)..But his mood has suddenly changed when we're about to leave because his slippers cannot be found anywhere!. He really felt upset due to that and hence he's not even looking into the camera ..My husband already lend his slippers to my son and choose to walk bare foot but looks like my son did not appreciated that :)..He's really pissed off with the person who took his slippers away. Another grabbed picture from my husband's FB post. By the way, if you're interested with the beach, it's called "Patungan Beach". It's just few meters away from the Kaybiang Tunnel. I just grabbed image above from google. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KccsRp5BPl8/XghkHM7xl3I/AAAAAAAACdw/QKbmpytGHoAkdhd0RS3UHeLtO4kuv7DPQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/80435881_2984680074899999_1391827097646792704_o.jpg We're not able to take picture before passing by the tunnel because it's prohibited for some reason. Thank you again for spending time reading and supporting this article of mine.

@Khing14

Ooppsss! I did it again! Date: October 29, 2021 Good evening folks!. I supposed to write a different topic for today but I just contain my happiness and I want to share it with you since you've been my virtual friends already and I've been exchanging conversation to most of you in a daily basis (almost). This week, I've been moved from APAC shift to EMEA shift because my colleague who's an SME of the applications that I'm an SME as well is on leave the entire week. We've been required to file a block leave (meaning at least 5 days consecutive leaves) before the year (2021) ends. It's our company's way to ensure that their employee's have time to unwind, relax, and forget about work for a short period of time. *SME means Subject Matter Expert* From my 6:00AM to 3:00PM PH time shift, it was moved to 3:00PM to 12 midnight PH time. I am really enjoying this shift so far. Aside from the fact that most of my colleagues are in this shift (I am supporting APAC shift alone and all my colleagues are in EMEA shift), most of our application users (brokers and operations team) are also based in EMEA (UK). Earlier, while I am busy on a video call with my cousin's wife over FB messenger, I have received this email from my Manager after our team meeting earlier around 07:19 PM. It's Friday so mostly, we're on relaxed shift because of lesser workload. I guess most of our users who are mostly brokers are also in Friday mode. Our definition of Friday mode is like "Weekend mode" because it's the last working day of the week, so our energy is most likely being spent on counting the time remaining before our shift ends. I am very surprised when I saw his email. I became speechless actually because that person he's referring to that called him is Head of our Business Users. Meaning, they are the users of the applications that our team is supporting. My cousin's wife has noticed that my reaction suddenly changed while we're talking to each other over video call hence I shared the good news to her. At the same time, I also chatted my husband and inform him that I've received a commendation again. Here is what he has responded: I really felt so flattered and speechless after seeing the email. Usually whenever I get commendations like that from my Boss, I always struggle to find the exact words to say. I do not know how to react always on such occasions. This is not the first time that I've received the same commendations, but still. It's like**, I felt flattered but shy**. It's kind of weird but I really felt shy whenever somebody complimented my work, specially if it comes from my Boss or Boss of my Boss. It took me more than 20 minutes to react and reply on that email..ahaha!. I received it at around 07:19 PM and noticed from my reply above? I am able to send it at around 7:43 PM. In my personal opinion, as long as you love your work or what you're doing, even without putting extra effort on it, others will definitely notice the quality of your work. It might not be your colleagues, might not be your Boss, but it could be someone whom you've served well. During my college days, I never imagined that I will step someday into the I.T. world. I actually see myself back then working in a radio station or television company and imagining to see my name every time the TV program ends. I am not sure if you noticed that in GMA TV or ABS CBN. During midnight, before they shutdown their channel, they are flashing in the screen the names of their Engineers who are working on the backend. They are showing the name and the E.C.E number (license number) of their Engineers. I think it's God's will to put me into where I am today (in I.T. industry). It wasn't my plan, but it's God's plan. And hence I really believe that God is the Great Architect of our lives. It's just up to us if we will let us Him work through it!. I always thank God for giving me wisdom and enthusiasm despite my always having "lack of sleep". It's been my habit that whenever I talk to someone (work-related), I always talk with enthusiasm, happy tone and energetic voice. It's my style to show them that I am confident enough on what I am saying, or to show them that I am knowledgeable on whatever we're discussing about. At the same time, I always try to build a comfortable environment between me and the person on the other line. *Let me just correct your thinking guys, I am not a call center agent okay (hehe)?* I just look like a call center agent because I prefer calling whoever our users who' are having issues or problem. It's much more faster than exchanging an email. I usually ask our users to share their screen and show me where he/she's having problem or trouble with. It's getting late now guys and my shift is already over, so I guess it's perfect time to end this quick sharing as well. As usual, thank you so much for always dropping by and spending time to read my articles which sometimes, I think they're already nonsense. See yah around guys!

Scammer ka lang...Scammer din kami! Date: October 28, 2021 ***Note: This article have tagalog words. I have decided to used my mother tongue which is tagalog on some part of this article so that I could be able to express my thoughts gracefully.*** Hello my fellow readers and writers!. Today is my kind-of busy day but still manageable as usual. *Hindi nga lang nakapaglaba si Inday dahil busy sa work din talaga maghapon.* I've got an idea to write about my scammer experience by the post from @Ligaya19 entitled "What to do if you've been the victim of a scam" . Her article reminds me of what my husband and I did when we've been a scammer victim last year. https://read.cash/@Ligaya19/what-to-do-if-youve-been-the-victim-of-a-scam-f9b7f1a5 It was May last year when my husband and I have to go to my OB-Gynecologist's clinic in Muntinlupa City for my another dose of contraceptives. I tend to use injectables before because I am really have a very poor memory. I tend to forget things even though I just did it like few hours ago or so. That's my fear hence I decided to go with injectable contraceptive rather than oral pills. I asked my husband to accompany me because it is ECQ that time and as you are aware of, travel in or out of Manila and nearby provinces are restricted. Only allowed to cross are those who are considered to be as "Essential Workers". My husband has some papers that will prove him as one of the "Essential Workers". He has DTI permit for his "Bigasan" business and hence we used it to pass through different checkpoints positioned in the border of each city and border of Muntinlupa and Cavite. I have my cousin and our helper (yes we still have helper during that time) left with the kids at home. I have left expressed breastmilk in the ref for my son who is exclusively drinking breastmilk during that time. He was just 2 years old by then. While we're on our way to my OB-Gynecologist's clinic, I posted a picture in "My Day" of me and my husband inside the car with a caption of....." " ***oooopppsss!!! I already forgotten what my exact caption is but it's about my husband and I escaped from our kids for a short period of time.*** I am not sure if it just happened coincidentally but somebody contacted our telephone and home. My cousin picked it up and entertained the person on the other line. *Note: Some wordings in the below conversation is not the exact words used by my cousin and the caller. But the thoughts are somehow similar.* *Caller: Hi, pwede ba malaman kung nandyan si Miss xxxxxx?* *Cousin: Ay wala po, umalis po sila.* *Caller: Ay ganun ba? Kasi ganito, naaksidente silang mag-asawa. Nakabangga yung sinasakyan nilang sasakyan. Nasa prisinto ngayon yung asawa nya at kailangan ng cash para pangbayad. May pera kaba dyan? Si ate mo, iyak na din ng iyak.* *Cousin: Ay ganun po ba? Wala po kasi akong pera dito.* My cousin initially refused to give money to the caller. But then the caller is very persuasive!. To the point that my cousin gave up!. She sent her allowance sent to her by her OFW mom few weeks ago. Since she doesn't have GCASH account, she look for 7-11 store and deposited her allowance to the GCASH number that the scammer has provided. When she got home, the scammer called again and forced my cousin to check our cabinets for wallets or any jewelries and asked my cousin to meet-up and give them the jewelries if found any. *Pwede po pakausap kay Ate?* My cousin asked the caller. *Ay naku nashock kasi sya sa pangyayari, iyak din ng iyak, hindi sya halos makausap.* As per the caller. And the caller continued to pursuade my cousin to look for wallets, money, etc. My cousin gave up again!. And asked our helper if she has some money. Our helper then lend her only money in her pocket (2.000 PHP). My cousin went back to 7-11 again and sent the money in to the same GCASH number. When she comes back, the scammer contacted her again. In this case, they contacted her from her mobile number. They still asked for more!. Then my cousin remembered my "alkansya" (piggy bank) which has like around 5,000PHP. She knew about it because sometimes I ask her to get money from there if we have something to buy from the store. In other words, she took all those money from my piggy back and send them to the same GCASH number via 7-11. When my husband and I arrived at home, my cousin is in total shock!. First thing that came out from her was "Kuya okay lang kayo?". And then she cried when she realized that nothing bad has actually happened to us. He then told us what has happened. We tried to contact the number (GCASH) but it's no longer reachable. We lost our hope that we will get back our money which worth 10,000 PHP in total. I then thought of posting that incident in FB to give awareness to my friends. And that's the best action I did ever that night!. One of my former colleague (who is currently an IT in GCASH) sent me a direct message in my messenger. He helped me trace that number. He was able to track the transactions made from that GCASH number. The money was actually transferred into multiple GCASH accounts and one of them has been traced to have a GCASH ATM. We contacted the multiple GCASH accounts used, each one of them. My husband pretended as an officer from Cyber Crime Division and pretending that he is able to track even the address of the scammer. Which is actually true because we are able to retrieve his ID card details with the help of my former colleague. The person (he's just actually a young boy by his looks on his ID picture) which is an STI student immediately returned the **5,600 PHP** that he said was left into his account. My husband then named the other GCASH holders into which he has transferred the remaining amount. There are total of three GCASH numbers that we are able to retrieve. At first, he is in denial. He told my husband that he don't know those other two people that we named to be his "kasabwat". The other one is a girl by the way. My husband texted the other one and here is how their conversation goes. The other scammer is consistently denying the incident! While the girl's number is unreachable. *So now you have an idea how my husband pretended to be a member of cyber crime division.* Since that person is in denial, my husband focused his attention to the STI student who initially admitted the crime that he did. My husband threatened the STI student that he will go into his address early morning the next day with the NBI if he don't send us back the remaining **5,000 PHP** which are evenly distributed to the other two GCASH accounts. To cut the story short, we are able to retrieve all our money from the scammer. The STI student even apologize again and again :).. That concludes our scamming experience :)... ***Sana ay naaliw kayo sa kwento at natuto kayo ng mga diskarte para matakot ang scammer sa inyo..hahaha..*** Thank you so much for your time readung!. See you around!

Team "Puyat" quick photoshoot Date: October 28, 2021 It's 2:3AM already as of this writing but me and my youngest son is still wideawake. I just actually finished cleaning the kitchen and the living room. We do not have helper this week hence I have to level up again and maintain the cleanliness of our house the entire day. Wait what? Did I just said "maintain cleanliness"? Nah! It's actually epic failed! Maintaining our house's cleanliness and orderliness can only be achieved when my kids are asleep. But it is really impossible when they are awake. I have three kids who are always busy making the house a mess. They are always busy in scattering their toys around, you could see biscuit wrappers, and some more all over the house. *Pati nga hindi laruan pinaglalaruan na din kapag nakakalingat ako eh!* . Here in our house, me and my youngest son are actually the ones who always sleep late. Oopppss!!! .. Let me correct it! It's only my youngest son who always tend to sleep past 12 midnight everyday! There are times that I cannot resist my sleepiness and I do accidentally fell asleep in the sofa while watching him while he is still busy playing alone.. *His sleeping pattern became consistent ever since he turned 2 if I may recall it correctly. I think my working hour is a factor.* And since this week, my shift is from 3:00PM till midnight, he used to accompany me being awake of course. And today, actually since last Monday, after my shift, I have to deal with washing the dishes that we havr used during our dinner. I don't want them to wait for sunrise because for sure my little friends (roaches and rats) will surely love it and enjoy partying in our little kitchen! Hence as much as possible, Iwill clean the house before I go to sleep at night, I mean early in the morning. While waiting for this little kiddo to drain all his energy and fell asleep, I took him a picture. But accidentally, I turned on the flash of my phone and the supposedly secret photo became a photo shoot..Hahaha.. As soon as he realized that I am taking him picturrs, he voluntered to pose nicely! He even approach me and check if his photo looks good right after each shot. Let me share with you some of our clicks. He told me to make sure include his blue toy car the bike behind him in the picture. And so, request granted! He was very happy when he saw the output. And then he asked me to take him picture while he is doing "the pogi pose". We don't know where he got that terminology. He just came to us one day proudly posing like that while saying "mama tingnan mo pogi ako". And since then, when you told him to do the pogi pose, he will gladly pose for you. It's kinda funny because after I took the above photo, he told me "ay ligtad" and then he interchanged his arms. You'll notice it in the next picture. That shot is a blurry one because my phone's camera is not that good. Unlike the other high end phones that has capability to focus even though the subject is moving. All my stress gone away after that quick fun pictorial. Both of us had fun actually. It's 3:23AM already as of this writing and he's already asleep so I guess it's time for me to dose off to bed as well. Atleast I've been productive while waiting for him to fall asleep. And guess what? I just composed and published this one using my phone. Thank you all for dropping by again and motivating me to write more.

Hi folks, I am a bit busy at work now. Promise to catch up with your articles as soon as I've got some spare time.

@Khing14

There is always another way! Date: October 26, 2010 ***Note: You might find the first part of this article too technical and most of the terminologies are from IT perspective. If you're a non-IT, you may focus on the second part of this article which contains the actual message that I wanted to convey with you. These are the lessons that I've learned based on what I've experienced the past few days in my work.*** Last week, I have written an article about my latest automation in my current job. It was entitled Powershell : My new language. https://read.cash/@Khing14/powershell-my-new-language-2017c7b8 For those who are not able to read the aforementioned article, basically, I have created a script that will check if all users who have access to our supported applications still exist in Active Directory or in other words if they are still part of the firm. I named my script as Leavers Checker. It is written in PowerShell programming language which is new to me because I don't really have previous exposure on writing a PowerShell script. I am more exposed in Unix scripting. Everything is already working. The script is running fine from my local machine. Basically, the script that I have created will save us a lot of time and effort. The problem started when I decided to deploy it in one of our production server. It was not able to execute the script because of missing module (SQLPS) in our production servers which is needed to be able to access our production database remotely. I then seek some help from our infrastructure team to install the necessary program/s or PowerShell module to make my script work. But then looks like my request is also new to our Windows support team. They tried to install few programs already but unfortunately, I am still getting the same error. The system is still not able to recognize the command that I am using to extract the list of users from our database remotely. I felt hopeless already because even the Windows expert couldn't resolve my issue and couldn't make my script run. *But then I did not loose hope. I really wanted to make my script work because it will be very beneficial for the team in the long run.* Yesterday, I tried to google the alternative command I can use which will not require additional program to be installed into a server. And luckily, I bumped into a blog that has very the same issue as mine and when I scrolled down further, I found the answer!. Initially, I've been using invoke-sqlcmd to access our database remotely and get the list of users directly from the DB. I found the useful post that has all the details in it. https://www.peter-doering.com/2017/02/alternative-for-invoke-sqlcmd/ Below is the portion from the post which I found to be very useful. function SqlQuery($server, $database, $query) { $connection = New-Object System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection $connection.ConnectionString = "Server=$server;Database=$database;Integrated Security=True;" $connection.Open() $command = $connection.CreateCommand() $command.CommandText = $query $result = $command.ExecuteReader() $table = new-object “System.Data.DataTable” $table.Load($result) $connection.Close() return $table } SqlQuery $Server $Database "SELECT * FROM Staff" This line actually caught my attention: And since I know that our production server has .NET installed, I know that this solution might work. But then again, there's also possibility that it won't work. So I modified my code and use the aforementioned script to extract user details from our database and run it to my local machine first. It works!. And here is the thrilling part again. I deployed my script to one of our production servers and I almost jump with joy when finally, it works!. My script is working perfectly!. And this is one goal down for this fiscal year!. What I am trying to say is, there seems to be a situation where you already felt **hopeless**. That despite your multiple attempts to solve a problem, you just keep on **failing**. Despite on how many times you **stand up** and try, you keep on **falling**. That whenever you tried to apply the available solutions, it's not working at all. You've already seek other's help but it seems that the situation is not going along with you but it is always against you. Instead of pushing through with your current strategy, where despite of your multiple attempts, none of them actually worked, why not try a different way? Try another path! Turn right or left and check if that path will lead you to your goal. Image source https://media.istockphoto.com/vectors/woman-on-multi-path-thinking-vector-id1045273650?k=6&m=1045273650&s=612x612&w=0&h=GGovz_RFazys1m--eP60ZDQUxnzJMKG2O_ZpZ1d9GSU= Just like in mathematics right? There are multiple ways we can solve a specific problem but what matters most is we have arrived to the correct answer. Regardless of the formula that we used or applied, as long as we have achieved the expected output, then we should be good!. **THERE is NO HARM in TRYING!** Try to step outside of the box for you to see the other solutions available out there!. There is always another way for you to reach and achieve your goals. Don't be confined or stuck in a single path. You should try and turn to different path if you see no progress at all with the current path that you are taking.

Types of Mom - Which one are you? Date: October 25, 2021 We all have a different parenting styles. Our parenting style sometimes define our personality and how our parents molded us while we're growing up before. But admit it!. It's actually difficult to know our own personality unless someone or other people told us based on how we interact and react. It's always difficult to look ourselves. We always need a mirror. And do you believe that however you raised your child reflects on the personality they develop as they grow? I do believe on that because there are instances that I can actually see myself or on how I react to a thing to my children. By the way, let's talk about what type of parent you are. I think most moms can relate on this one because mother are more hands-on to their children as compared to the husband hence I am defining my title specific to Moms. Types of Mom The Perfectionist Mom A mom that always make sure she does everything right!. She is well organized and make sure that her house is so tidy that you cannot even see any single dust on their table, or sofa, or television, etc. Picture frames are well positioned on the wall and has a perfect distance from each other. You cannot see any single shoe anywhere. Everything is organized and have their own cabinets or drawers. Their dress cabinets are perfectly grouped (i.e by color, by dress type, or by usage like say for example for winter, summer dress, for school, for mall, or for church). She always dress neatly and so as her children. She has a well-behaved and well disciplined kids and husband. *I don't think this kind of mom really exist though!.* The Stalker Mom This is a type of mom who moves without you knowing that she's moving. She is like an investigator or detective. She know who's your crush or who are you dating with without you even telling it to her. She always stalks your social media account and investigates all your friends that she's suspecting to be your BF/GF or crush. She knows your every move at school. She's a certified researcher I would say and the best detective ever!. The Peacemaker Mom She is the mom who always pacifies their home. She is the mediator between an angry dad and her kids. She's also the referee of her fighting children!. She's a very supportive mom because it is one of her ways to make her home peaceful and stay away from any unnecessary drama. She would rather support her husband or child decision to avoid further discussions. The Health/Figure Conscious Mom This is a mom who is very conscious with her figure. She even calculates her daily intake of carbohydrates. She has a perfect control of her diet (i.e she has a daily diet plan). She is very active in working out. Her day is not complete without doing any work-out routine. She constantly monitor her weight as well and is very obsessed on maintaining her ideal body figure. The Exaggerated Mom This is a paranoid type of mom. The one who exaggerates everything. For example, her son just suffered from a mild fever, he would tell her husband to bring their son to the hospital as it might be a symptoms of COVID, or Dengue, or any other disease already. A mom who is super "advance mag-isip". The Creative Mom This is a type of mom who is very talented. She can turn recyclable materials into a useful thing that can help beautify their home. She can produce toys made of any materials available at home. She can make dishes made in vegetables without her kids knowing that their snacks are actually made of squash, potatoes, moringa leaves, and some more. The Competitive Mom She is the type of mom who won't let others win against her. They always make sure that they're on the top! If her neighbors has lots of plants in their front yard, she will plant more!. If the neighbor change the paint of their house, then she will change their paint too! If the neighbor's child took Engineering in college, then she would ask her child or children to take Law or Medicine courses. She likes her children to always be on top. These are the moms who will question the teachers if their child got rank 2 and lower in the school. The Marites (Gossip Maker) Mom They are the "updated" moms!. They are always aware on each and every happenings within their compound. This is a type of mom where instead of doing their house chores, she will go in the neighbor's house and make some gossips together with her BFF Marites moms. They are the type of moms who cannot help to "not gossip" in a day. Their day is not complete without it!. I can also say that most of Marites moms are double sided. They are flexible depending on whom they are with. Today, they are with you, on your side. But tomorrow, when they talked to another neighbor, instantly, they will change their view and they will become against you. But these types of moms actually has advantage sometimes because they can easily spread the good news within their area or compound. There's still few more in my mind but I'll let you explore about the other types of Moms which I haven't mentioned yet above. Now that I have mentioned some types of moms, which type do you think are you? Or if you're not a mom, which type do you think your mom is? ***I would categorize myself as the exaggerated mom and the peacemaker mom.*** That's right. I am an exaggerated mom as I always tend to overthink every time one of my kids is unwell. I am also a peacemaker mom because I always stand as referee of my kids and my husband as well. I always try to prevent my husband from spanking my kids whenever they made a mistake.

Paranoid about being ** Paranoid ** Date: October 23, 2021 Did you ever experience of constantly worrying or thinking about a thing? That's me!. I am not sure if that's just the motherly part of me but I am always paranoid of a thing happening in my surroundings. Image source http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2015/3/3/1425397870225/cb9bec13-d216-483e-8793-7a3420273dc2-2060x1236.jpeg Let's say for example you throw a joke but after saying it, you became worried that it might became too offensive or so. And since then, you can't stop thinking whether the person has been offended or not by your joke. You're worried that he got upset of what you've said. Or let's say, while watching tragic news over the television, you became so scared that it might happen to you or to any member of your family. And hence you started to think about it, think about what to do in case those things happened to you. Once of these instances are the Ondoy flooding incidents that killed thousands of people. Another one is the Yolanda incident where the storm surge also killed lots of people living near the shore. Another minor instance is when I am on a meeting and my husband suddenly put the volume of his tab to maximum. I became so paranoid after the call and can't even sleep afterwards because I am too worried of what those people in the call might have been thinking of me due to that incident. Before I proceed, let me share with your first the definition of the word "paranoid" according to merriam webster. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/paranoid Major incidents that triggered my paranoia ****The white van incident.**** Did you heard this widely spread news in the social media and I believe it has spread even over the television about a white van kidnapping children? I've read from some posts that the kidnappers are taking out the internal organs of those children and just throwing the body out of the van afterwards with some money inside the hole they made to get the internal organs. It's like the kidnappers are saying to the mother of those children ***"here is the corresponding amount of those organs"*** I even watched a child being interviewed who has escaped from the kidnappers when they attempted to kidnap her. If you're a mother or have siblings or niece or nephew, I believe you'll get paranoid as well as I am. I even told my husband to not let the kids go out of his sight whenever I am at work (45 km away from our house). ****The Severe Dengue Incident**** 4 years ago, one of my former classmate from college mourned because their precious daughter was taken from them by the Dengue. Her husband is a nurse actually. ***We know that there's no specific cure for dengue. So all we can do is keep the patient hydrated at all times and boost their immune system.*** As per my former classmate, their child was actually tested negative from Dengue however all the symptoms that manifested over their child is Dengue fever symptoms hence her husband took care of their child as if she has a dengue. They've hydrated their child and do a round a 'clock checking of her temperature. But when the seizure episode started, they took their daughter at the hospital into where his husband works as a nurse. Everything is going well. Their daughter stays active despite the on and off fever and some seizure episodes. But then the worst day came. It is afternoon when my classmate and her daughter was making a quick walk at the vicinity of the hospital enjoying the outside view, her daughter suddenly asked her to come back to their room because she felt cold. And so they went back to their room. And I cannot recall exactly if it's the same day when her daughter suddenly vomited black colored liquid. Being a nurse, her husband knew already that it's blood accumulated over the child's stomach. And he panicked. Her husband and the co-workers decided to move their child into another hospital who has high-tech instruments to know the cause of that. By that time, their child is already unconscious. Inside the ambulance, while they are on their way to transfer her daughter to another hospital, as per my classmate, she heard someone shouted "code blue". And she can see her husband and other nurses panicked trying to resuscitate their child. As they arrived at the emergency room, their child has been assisted immediately by the nurses and doctors. She can even see how many needles have been inserted on her daughters arms and legs injecting some medicine while they are trying to revive the poor child. The doctor said that their daughter suffered from **Sever Dengue**. It damaged her internal organs and caused internal bleeding that leads to her death. My husband and I came to the wake and it's really heartbreaking to see the parents mourning on their only child. And that incident made me paranoid for my kids. I even bought them a knee sacks for them to wear when they go to school. I bought "off lotion" for them. On the first day of an on and off fever, I immediately bring them to the doctor. That's how paranoid I am. There are lots of other incidents that made me too paranoid actually but so far aforementioned two incidents are the major one. And those paranoia lasts for few months. How about you? What's your paranoid stories? How did you manage to overcome them?

12th Wedding Anniversary! Parang Kailan Lang Date: October 22, 2021 My husband and I got married October 22 of year 2009. And today, we are celebrating our 12th year wedding anniversary. I got surprised when I saw his greetings over FB because he don't do it ever. He don't really want such occasions to be announced in public but here he comes!. Let me share you bits of our husband and wife story since our marriage. Our humble beginning We started our married life very un-prepared. It was due to an unexpected pregnancy that caused us to decide to do a civil wedding because we don't want to have problems in my first born's birth certificate. I was 5 months pregnant when we became married. It was just a civil marriage because we're both financially unprepared by that time. I just started working as Associate Software Engineer January of that year while he is working as Security guard for almost 2 years already but he's supporting his sister who is in college during that time. We don't have any single cents of savings yet. Our budget during our civil wedding? 5k PHP only. You heard it right. We've just invited close friends and family members to come and witness our wedding day. After the wedding, I decided to move with him. He's renting a small room near his work by that time somewhere in Laguna. I am actually renting a bed space room in Mandaluyong (near my work). So I just go home every weekends. Our room is like a 3 x 4 area only which is just enough for 2 to 3 persons only. It's very small. We rented that room for 1500 PHP only per month. He just built his bed which became our bed every weekends (made of coconut lumber and fly wood). I can still clearly recall, we don't even have electric fan way back then. We only have 2 pcs of plates, 6 pcs of spoon and fork, 2 pcs of glasses and 2 pcs of cups (for coffee). We used to cook in "gasolito". If you don't know how it looks like, here's the image captured from google. I can still clearly recall how afraid I am to cook in here because I feel like it will explode anytime. Image source https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/warehouse/v1.0/publiccontent/dc1c028c-69bd-48f1-b33f-715e62b83de7 Our beginning is so cheap I would say. He has a mountain bike which he used as his service going to and from his work. He use that bike to accompany me to the main high-way where I ride a jeepney going to to the bus station. I used to ride in front of his bike. Level UP 1.0 ****Rental House:**** Before I gave birth, we moved to the nearby house which is double the size of our former house. We rented it for 2500 PHP only. It has enough room for 3 to 5 person to move around. We even have 1 bedroom unlike the previous one where our kitchen becomes our living room and transforms into bedroom at night :). ****Gasolito to Stove**** From gasolito, my husband bought a decent stove which looks like the below. Image source https://cf.shopee.ph/file/c0bc32e48409c3deac7b39148ff96beb ****Kitchen Appliance and tableware**** Since we have spacious house compared to our previous one, we started to buy appliances. We bought refrigerator, fans, and of course more plates, spoon and forks, cups and glasses. ****Mat (Banig) to Mattress (Kutson)**** When we move to our second house, I also bought a mattress. I bought a mattress that's just good for 2 persons. ****We've got a living room**** As I have mentioned, our second house is more decent than the first one. It even have a living room!. So, we bought a "sala set". ****From bicycle to motorcycle**** In a short period of time that we're living together, we managed to prioritized our own family. We managed to save a bit in preparation to my delivery date. I actually have an HMO but I told my husband that we still need to save just in case there are unexpected expenses that came-up during my delivery. And luckily, my delivery was safe and majority of the expenses was covered by my health card. We used our saved money to buy a motorcycle. It was just few weeks after I gave birth :)..And I am happy to announce that the motorcycle is still in a very good condition as of this writing. Last 2013 when we moved to Muntinlupa City. Reason being is the proximity from my work. But the house rental price is still the same so it's like we just moved literally without affecting our budget. Level UP 2.0 : Suntok Sa Buwan ****From 2,500 PHP rental fee to 8,900 PHP**** It was year 2015 when we decided to find a rent to own house. We tried to find somewhere there in Laguna however after Ondoy where a lot of areas suffered from flooded water from the lake, we decided to find a rent to own house somewhere in Cavite. We know that Cavite has lots of non-flooded areas. We find a ready for occupancy unit and luckily, we are able to find one. But guess what, from 2,500 PHP our house (which is where we reside now) costs 8,900 PHP per month. That's what my husband and I called it as "Suntok sa Buwan". Sounds like impossible to afford for both of us but we're both amazed because we did it!. We are able to get this house October of 2015 but we moved here the following year (May 2016). It took us few months to move because we waited for my son's school year to finish first. He was in Kinder 1 by that time. ****From Motorcycle to Tricycle**** During the campaign period last 2016, my husband was able to work as Mar Roxas son's driver. And when the campaign period has ended, they were given a bonus into which my husband has used to buy a sidecar for his motorcycle. It became our family service when we go to the church or nearby malls and grocery stores. ****From Tricycle to Four Wheels**** December of the same year (2016) when we decided to get a car. We knew that it's a big financial responsibility but we go for it!. "Lakasan ng loob" is what we're always telling to each other. It costs 18,000 PHP per month for five years!. It's not a joke amount and we will have to do a big adjustment with our budget. And fortunately, for our almost 5 years of paying, we don't have any single record of delayed payment. Before I end this, I just wanted to tell you folks that there are things that we look like it's impossible for us to achieve. But with your determination and effort? Believe me, you can!. Many thanks for spending your time with my article :). Feel free to leave a comment! I will be happy to exchange conversation (as always) with you. Have a great day ahead!

Busy as a Bee Date: October 20, 2021 For those who are not aware of, busy as a bee is an idiom which means "very busy". This is how I feel from Monday till today (Wednesday). Monday: Multitasking level 2.0 It was Monday, October 18th when we have our new comers. Yes, our team is actually expanding because we're planning to have a global support soon. So far, since Last May, we already have 4 additional team members and we're still looking for another one which will complete our pack. In our team, I am the one responsible to assist our new joiners to secure their access to the system and to the applications that we support. And that means, I don't have idle time. Everything is fine when it comes to work actually. However, this week is also my eldest son (grade 6) and daughter's (grade 2) exams week. They are currently attending online class, of course from the same school. My grade 6 son can manage the review of his lessons on his own but for my grade 2, I really need to assist her or else, she would just play mobile games while pretending to be reviewing. Every Monday, my shift starts at 3:00AM. So at around 5:00 AM, I started to prepare our breakfast. And then from time to time, I go upstairs in my mini-office to make sure nothing comes up and everything is running fine for my work. Unfortunately, my youngest son woke up as well while I am cooking our breakfast hence every time I go upstairs to check my computer, he goes with me as well. Then when I go downstairs to continue cooking, he will come with me again. He's been like my walking tail. At around 7:00AM, I woke up my eldest son and my daughter. They need to take a bath before 8:00AM so that they can do another round of review before their exam has started. My eldest son's exam starts at 09:30 AM while my daughter's exam starts at 10:00AM. Why am I doing this? I am doing this because I want them to grow up with a mindset that studying is important. To make them both motivated, I told them that right after their exam, I will let them use their gadgets till 8:00 PM as a reward. Yes, playing online games is one of their motivations because their gadget time is only limited in a daily basis. Weekend before the exam, they are not allowed to hold their gadgets unless during review time. Hence, they both are very excited to hold their gadgets and play mobile games because they are not able to do it the past weekends (Saturday and Sunday). After they ate their breakfast, I prepared the comfort room for them to take a bath. I asked my daughter to take a bath first before her brother. While my daughter is taking bath, I cleaned the dishes and from time to time, I go upstairs to check my computer. I fix my daughter's hair before we both went upstairs to take another round of review. This time, we're doing the review in my desk so I can check my work while helping here with her review. Here comes her exams, a technical issue has been encountered. She run knocking at my door and told me of her problem. Her screen freezes and hence she cannot see what her teacher is showing them which they needed to answer. So I stopped from working to make way for her to use my PC. I asked her teacher that my daughter needed to switch from Tablet to PC. I also informed the teacher that my daughter has no answers yet on all items because of that incident. The teacher then repeated the questions from number 1. While waiting my daughter to finish with her exams, I brought my youngest son to sleep because he was sleepy already by that time. I did not washed him because he is still lacking of sleep (he woke up too early with me). And the multitasking saga continued after my daughter has finished her exam and I logged in back to continue my work. In other words, my one hour break was spent when my daughter is using my PC for her exam which just took more or less 30 minutes till completion. Tuesday: Multitasking level 2.5 Tuesday (October 19, 2021) when I started assisting our new joiners. His schedule starts at 09:00AM hence starting that time, I don't have any idle time anymore. Since my son and daughter's exam is only scheduled MWF (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), three subject each day, Tuesday and Thursday are allotted for their review. But since I needed to assist our new joiners, I don't have spare time anymore to review my daughter in between my shift. In other words, I would have to do it after work. My morning routine stays the same. I will prepare breakfast before 7:00AM. Have to do it while I am working because if I don't then the kids won't have their food in the table when they woke up. And then after the kids had finished their meal, I will sneak time to clean the dishes and the entire kitchen. I also sweep and mop the floor. Those are what I normally do in between my shift whenever I find some time. A quick 5 to 15 minutes break is good enough for me to do those house chores. I feel like I am a "saw" (lagari) who's going back and fort. I will go and prepare the kids meal, and then go back to work. After few minutes, I'll go and wash the dishes, then go back to work again and so on and so fort. Image source https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/76/Pily_rozplatnice.jpg/440px-Pily_rozplatnice.jpg **Why do I have multitask?** Our stay-out helper is absent since Saturday last week due to some personal errands. She didn't actually told us that she won't be back by Monday and the worst, she's not around till today (Wednesday). That's why I am so upset with her as well. She's not around when we needed her most. I am busy at work and busy assisting my kids with the review but still I needed to do the house chores plus taking care of my toddler at the same time. And that's the reason why **I am busy as a bee** since last Monday. I cannot clearly elaborate each of the house chores that I needed to do in between of my shift plus the review time I needed to do for my daughter while taking care of my toddler but I know some of you can relate specially the stay at home moms who used to do all the house chores (alone) in a daily basis. Image source http://youreng.ru/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/kG8tCuIC5gOZsTtvK3UecA-article-300x287.jpg My stress level as of today is x2 of my height already. My husband actually teased me earlier and read a quote he found in his FB wall. I felt so exhausted yet it's just midweek. ***Mula ng magkaanak ako, palagi na akong galit,*** ***maya maya nalang galit, palagi nalang akong galit.*** *Then he asked me, how can I share this quote and then tag you?* I then responded: ***You know why I am always upset? I am working while doing the house chores and taking care of your three kids who's always busy fighting and busy in making our house so messy. It's like whenever they go, I should follow because for sure there's a lot of mess there.*** He just laughed at me. Thank you for your time reading this nonsense article of mine today :). I can't think of a good topic because I just transformed again from being a calm mom to a **mudragon** mom when I saw my kids mess in their bedroom!. I just can't help it because I am too exhausted to do another round of cleaning. I already imagined myself laying down in our soft bed but looks like it won't happen yet because I will still need to clean my kids bedroom which is as messy as if a tsunami has passed by.

Return To Office Postponed : Thank you Boss! Couple of weeks ago, I and my colleagues are all surprised by the Return to Office memo, effective November 8, 2021. We are all startled by the news because we are definitely not yet ready to expose ourselvess and our families to the covid-19 virus. I actually posted an article with all my sentiments and worries about the return to office memo. You can find it **here**. https://read.cash/@Khing14/if-i-were-the-boss-9218a1a0 Right after the email announcement, our Manager organized a meeting to make a formal announcement about it. He told us to consolidate all our concerns and questions regarding the Return to Office notice. And so my colleagues and I gathered all our concerns and sent it to our Manager. Below are the concerns I have raised. My manager then sent me an invite for a one on one call (meaning, the meeting ia just between him and I). It was tuesday last week. During our call, I've raised my concerns of having no stay-in helper to take care of my kids while my husband and I are away. It is too difficult to get a stay-in helper nowadays due to pandemic. No one wants to stay away from their families. I need to have a stay-in helper because my schedule is from 3AM to 12 noon on Mondays and 6AM to 3PM from Tuesdays to Fridays. My average commute time is 2.5 hrs one way. That means, I have to leave the house at around 3:30AM the latest. And my husband usually leave at 3:00 AM to go to the market to buy goods like veggies, fruits, fish, meat, etc that he will sell in our little store. Also, I told my Manager that since I am commute going to and coming from the office, I've had a lot of exposure to the virus. And I might be the carrier of the virus in the office as well. To be able to reach the office, I'll have to take 1 tricycle from our subdivision to the main road where I have to ride a jeepney till the bus station/stop over terminal. Buses from Cavite are not allowed to enter Manila anymore so I have to alight somewhere in Pasay City, most likely in the PITX terminal and from there, I need to ride another bus to Ayala Avenue and from Ayala Avenue, I needed to ride BGC bus. So all in all, I need to ride 1 trycicle., 1 jeepney and 3 buses. Which expose me a lot to the covid-19 virus. And we all know that some of the public transportations here in the Philippines are not compliant with the covid-19 protocols. If anyone from our team caught the virus, all of us will have to isolate and undergo 14 days quarantine as per the IATF recommendation. That means, the manpower might also be at risk if that happens. In our team, 7 out of 10 headcount are from here in Manila branch. So the team coverage will definitely suffer if the worst case scenario hits us. Furthermore, I am also afraid of the covid-19 virus because two of our neighbors died due to it already. So it is not a joke. And once it entered your home, it is difficult to escape anymore. We've patiently waited more than a week for a response on all our concerns. And yesterday (tuesday, October 19, 2021), My manager sent the announcement that the Management decided to give the final decision to the team Managers whether they will require their team to report to the office or postpone it till the situation improved. Luckily, my Manager responded in favor of us. He allowed us to continue in our work from home set-up.. Wohhooooo!! We are soooooo happy!. All of us are celebrating about it now. We are so lucky to have a very considerate Manager who think of our welfare over any other else. As a matter of fact, I also told him during our one on one that our productivity actually mutliplied (almost doubled) when we started the work from home set-up. It is due to the time we are able to save from travelling to and from the office. As soon as I've seen the email last night, I immediately sent my Manager a personal Thank you chat.. I am just so thankful that he considered our concerns and gave us work from home extension. Sorry I cannot provide a snapshot of the announcement due to company policy. I guess that would be it for now. I am just so haooy with the news and I cannot wait to share it with you. Thanks for your time as always. Before I end this, let me share with you the click I did on one of my flower from my little garden. With a simple quote to remind you to always keep calm and just smile. It's contagious! Believe me.

A customer dissatisfaction : Sun Cellular Postpaid Service Date: October 19, 2021 I cannot think of a good topic for today dahil masyado akong dismayado sa Sun Cellular postpaid service simula pa kahapon. Kaya naisip kong ishare nalang sa inyo ang aking pagkadismaya. Sun Cellular Postpaid Subscriber for more than 10 years I am sun cellular's postpaid subscriber since 2008. So imagine, more than 10 years na akong loyal sa kanila. I've even upgraded my postpaid plan everytime magpaparenew ako because of the device na associated to the plan. From plan 399, after more than 10 years, naka plan 999 na ako ngayon. Which means, last month pa dapat kami eligible makapag avail ng free device as part of their loyalty program. So last August, tinawagan ko yung hotline ni sun cellular. Nag inquire ako if kelan kami magiging elligible for the free device and sinabi sa akin ng agent na nag assist na by September daw pwede na. At yun ay baka next year pa. **Pampering myself with Secosana Sling Bags : Budol is Real** Fan talaga ako ng secosana bags ever since na nagkawork ako.

A Grace DisGrace Date: October 18, 2021 *I tried to challenge myself and join in with ACROSTIC challenge I've saw in this platform last week. This will be the first time I've been doing both (making a poem, and making a word puzzle) so wish me luck!* Hope you'll like it! **A**fter few days of thinking whether or not to try acrostic, Here I am now trying to make an article out of it. I am just a thin young girl back then Who has the limited capabilities, don't expect from me well. **A**ccomplishments at school is one of my proof That I am not lazy, but always determined at all Yes I am not diligent, not proactive at school But that's actually due to the fact, that I am too shy to be noticed by them all. **C**ountless spanking, this I can still clearly recall Those are what I usually get, when my mother is not in the mood Sometimes I've been asking myself as to why If I am really a bad child, why I am getting those dislikes. **E**ducation has been my priority Because I know something good is waiting for me I am very optimistic that someday I can be A successful person, which is what I always wanted to be **D**iscouragements, this is what I normally get Looks like I am not really the majority's bet My relatives, they always belittled me, They are always there not to inspire but to demotivate me **I**nspiration is what I always have To escape from the poverty, that's all the goal that I have Prove them wrong, and prove them that I can Be a successful person, far from what they can. **S**chool days have been in favor of me I am always part of the top 5, which is I am not actually aiming to be Just have a passing grade, is enough for me But God never fail and always give extras to me And they never trusted even one of my abilities. **G**iven the awards that I am able to bring home Are those still not enough to prove you all wrong? That I am not lazy just like what you've thought of me But one child who always wanted to bring the best of out me. **R**espect is what I ever wanted From the people around who always belittle the thin child version of me I am not diligent at home yes I admit But I do not let my studies to be impacted by it. **A**mazing God is what we always have He didn't let me fall apart Despite the challenges and struggles I've got He is always there, providing me the guts! **C**riticism should not make us feel down But it should be one of our reason to strive harder and turn the world upside down So that in the end, those who has judged you when you're down Will be ones amongst those who praise your success and will always stick around. **E**xcellence cannot be achieved if you will not work hard for it You need to use stairs and climb up to have it Build a strong foundation is what you need to focus on Which will keep you standing in times of havoc. And that's my "**A grace disgrace**" poem. The first ever English poem I have created in my entire life :). During my childhood, I almost considered myself as a disgrace to my mother. Whenever we have visitors, relatives or just our neighbors, I always hear my mother telling them that she is very proud of my little sister because she is so diligent and good in polishing our house. Unlike me who is **very lazy** and "**burara**" in Filipino which means **slovenly** in English. I always hear that whenever she has a conversation with someone. I never heard her being proud of me. She never talked about my achievements at school. From elementary where I am always on the top 5 list, till I graduated High School as Valedictorian, I never experienced even a small celebration just like what my other classmates have. I do not also get some support or motivations from my relatives. In fact, they are the one who are first to bring me down. They are like crabs who keep on trying to pull me down whenever I tried to climb up. But now, the feeling has changed. From being their "**disgrace**" to "**grace**", because being the eldest, I am the breadwinner in our family now. But then after all, here I am now. That's why I always believe in the bible verse **"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up" James UChapter 4 verse 10.** Image source https://img.heartlight.org/overlazy/creations/452.jpg This is a very short verse but has a very strong meaning. You just need to remain humble and keep your faith with yourself and with the Lord. He will lift you up and help you reach your dreams. I am not 100% sure if this qualified with @JonicaBradley 's writing prompt about Laziness. When I saw this prompt, my mother always called me as "lazy" first came out of my mind. Just in case, you're interested to join this writing prompt, here are the rules: Write anything about **laziness.** It should be 100% original and unique. My Payday Shopee Purchase : Ako naman ulit! Para sa Self Love. Date: October 16, 2021 Few days ago, I've purchased pressure washer from shopee. It's my advance gift to my husband's birthday this coming Octobter 31, 2021. Total price is 2, 930 PHP including the shipping fee. Just 2 days after I ordered it, the parcel has arrived!. My husband was so excited and he tested it right away!. And indeed, it was a perfect purchase. My husband used it to wash his car and it's so effective!. Just like the pressure washer in the car wash stations. Now my husband need not to queue anymore in a car wash because he can now wash his car anytime!. Last payday (October 13, 2021), I am really exhausted at work the entire day. Hence, to reward myself, I scrolled my cart in shopee and tried to select the items that I really love to buy this time. I have actually 100+ items in my cart for long period of time already and it keeps on increasing. Every time I feel bored, I used to scroll shopee and then just add to my cart the items that I am interested to buy, but I am not really buying them. Not until I realize that I really need that item. Going back, here are the items that I purchased as a reward to myself. Mini 300M USB WiFi Wireless LAN ADapter This is the first in my list. My desktop has no built-in wifi adapter hence I needed to but a 15 meters long LAN cable for me to use my desktop here in my mini-office at home. Everything's okay and working perfectly but there are times that the LAN port of our router is not working properly. Hence, I thought of buying a wifi adapter so that I have a back-up just in case the router's LAN port malfunctioned again. Also, in case of network outage, I can use my mobile phone and hotspot it. My desktop should be able to connect to the hotspot due to this wireless cable adapter. This worth **125 PHP** only. Wireless USB 4.0 Bluetooth Adapter This is for my desktop use as well. My main purpose is for me to connect my Bluetooth headphones. Having Bluetooth headphones means I can roam around even during meeting. Unlike using the wired one, sometimes it got disconnected when I have to do something while I am in a meeting. This one worth **98 PHP** only. Portable Metal USB Mini Fan There are times that I wanted to have a little piece of air in front of me. Specially during hot weather. But I don't like to open the wall fan as it causes static noise specially when I am attending a call. So I decided to buy one of this mini-fan just good enough to put on my desk. And this one is so cheap!. I bought it for **69 PHP** only. Powerbank I already have one 2 year-old power bank actually. But I think it's not enough for a family of five whenever we have power outage. These powerbanks are very useful in case of power outage. At least I can use my usb lamps and usb fans now without worrying of draining the battery of my powerbank since I have 2 back-ups already. I actually find these powerbanks so cheap because at the price of **449 PHP**, I already got 2 pcs of 30,000 mAh powerbanks. I haven't tested them yet since they just arrived today, and in fact, I am still charging them. I hope these two would last same as my first one since they are of the same brank (Romoss). Cell Phone Holder I am actually a fan of this kind of cell phone holder. I bought three pcs of this. This is the second time I bought this kind of phone holder because the first batch I bought which is last year are all broken because my youngest son used to play with it. Only think I don't like with this order? The seller gave me three cell phone stand with similar color - all **red**. When I check it out, there are no options to select color of your preference hence I am under the impression that the seller will give me random color. But to my surprise, they are of the same color. Alarm clock My son requested this one. Since his phone is being confiscated every night, I needed to wake them up each morning at around 7:00 o'clock to prepare for work. And looks like that routine is so annoying for my son. He actually used to waking up alone everyday before when he still have the same alarm clock. However, his youngest brother broke it and it just stopped working. So one day, he requested me to buy another one and here it is!. He is so happy when learned that I've got his new alarm clock. But the problem is, my youngest son don't want to leave the clock out of his site, so I guess we still have to be in our normal routine of me waking up my son and my daughter everyday at around 7:00 AM. That sums up my self-love purchases last payday (October 13, 2021). And the total amount is **1,069 Php**. That includes the shipping fee of **160 Php**(less 56 Php because I used my shopee coins). And after applying the 10% cash back voucher, I am able to earn 96.5 Shopee coins. That's 10% of my total merchandise (**965 PHP)**. How about you? What's the usual thing that you do to reward yourself? I would love to know those. By the way, if you still have few minutes of your time, come and pay a visit on my sponsors pages as well. They have a lot of articles that you can surely relate to. Many thanks for spending 5 minutes of your time with my article. See you on my next or I might also bump into yours. Have a great night/day ahead!

PowerShell : My new language Date: October 15, 2021 Happy Friday everyone!. I've been busy with my work today. Not due to my BAU (Business As Usual) tasks but due to my initiative. Intro I tried to automate one of the tedious process we have at work that's prone to human error. I have drafted my script yesterday and finalized it today. It's written in PowerShell programming language. ****Main purpose why I am doing automation are to:**** Time reduction. Effort Savings. Reduce the risk of human error. I am just a beginner actually with PowerShell. My skillsets prior my current work are more of Mainframe programming language and Unix. Majority of my work experience is being a level 2 support. In short, in terms of coding experience, my exposure is just a bit. I can read the code, reverse engineer it, and manual debug but due to the restrictions in my role, only our developers are allowed to update it. We are just the ones who used to deploy it in production. PowerShell is my new language Going back to PowerShell, as I have mentioned above, I am just a noob in this programming language. Most of the applications that we are supporting now are windows based, the ideal programming language that we can use to automate any manual recurring task is PowerShell. So I tried to self-study and slowly, learn the basics of PowerShell. Image source https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cKfFU5g1ixU/WLC4N9WDglI/AAAAAAAACAc/VicIAqjDOLkJZS7LJRzulUHrZFnJLHs4wCLcB/s1600/powershell.png I tried to find some automation opportunity which I can use to practice and learn more about PowerShell scripting. And you know what? Due to my willingness and eagerness to learn this programming language, it was even included in my bi-annual performance objective. I told my Boss that as part of my continuous learning effort, I would like to learn PowerShell scripting. Automation opportunity Image source https://enterprisetalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Gartner-Study-Automation-will-take-Over-Nearly-70-of-Managers39.jpg And here it comes!. Due to the recent audit, we have been asked to extract the list of our application users and countercheck them from the firm's active directory (AD) to know if they are still part of the team or they've left already. Doing it manually requires a lot of effort. I guess it would take at least 4 hours to complete the entire process. I've got an idea to automate it because if it's part of the audit, then we will have to do it regularly , say twice a year. We need to clean-up the users who have left the company already from the list of users that has access to our applications. I tried to explore **GOOGLE** then. I checked some tutorials about the basic PowerShell scripting first. And try to write a very simple script just to see how it works. I struggled much specially on the if-else conditions and also on putting different level of validations inside my PowerShell script. I did a draft of my script yesterday. I am so happy that I make it work!. However, there's a catch!. Because we have users who have 2 entries in our Active directory with different statuses. One has status of Disabled and one with the status of Enabled. And today, I've modified my code for it to be able to handle those mentioned scenarios. And you know what? Google has been my perfect tutor since day 1 of my PowerShell scripting self-study. It is like my guru in PowerShell scripting. Though, I cannot even count how many times I tried to modify and re-engineer my code for it to achieve the requirements I've also set. Basically, before I started my code, I have listed down the cases that I want my code to capture and handle. I have tested them one by one. And I am so happy today because I made it work! That's is why I am so thankful that we have GOOGLE nowadays who has been our overall tutor :). That's one of the thing that I loved in programming. That feeling of satisfaction. As soon as I made my codes work, happiness and excitement burst!. I am so excited to share it with the team because I know their struggles with the manual task/s themselves. I've already endorsed it to my colleagues and even told them that it's still open for enhancement (if they have spare time). 4 hours worth of task has been reduced to max of 5 minutes due to automation I am very happy because my script just needed 2 to 5 minutes of run time. It's able to produce a report containing the users that still have access to our applications but already left the firm. Yes!. the script even sends an email notification to our group once it has detected our application user/s who is/are no longer active in the firm. So from 4 hours worth of manual task/s we can now produce the report within 5 minutes. Image source https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/reduction-soon-there-short-time-clock-symbolizes-reminder-reduction-near-will-happen-finish-quickly-164305178.jpg Anyways, that's it for today. My eyes are now really really tired because of the continuous coding that I did earlier. I don't know why, but I am the type of person that as much as possible, I wanted to finish my work the day itself. Maybe because. I wanted to have a fresh day the following morning. You might wanna visit my sponsors pages. They have lots of published interesting articles as well. Tomorrow is another day because I will have to assist my kids on their review. It's their monthly examination schedule already next week. Closing Thoughts Just because you don't know a thing, you will not attempt to do it. We can try and step outside of our own boxes. You won't see what's in the outside if you will remains seated inside. Nowadays, there are lots of resources or I might rather say digital resources to help you understand and learn new skills. Leaning should be a continuous process. We should never stop because the technology is continuously changing as well. As per the saying, there's no permanent in this world apart from "change".

How to Redeem Cheque from checkbook.cash using Metamask browser I saw the below tweet from CashCatsBCH informing about the free airdrop as part of the Checkbook dApp audit completion celebration. There are 500 $CATS gift from Dr. Wang and 2 $EBEN from Ben. So I just simply clicked on the link from twitter and used metamask browser to open it. However, I am receiving the below error. So while I am trying to resolve my problem, I shared the tweet from some of my TG friends who are also been my constant chitchat and friends here in noise.cash and read.cash. Luckily @Eries28 is online and responded right away. And she had already received the cheque. I told her that I am receiving an error upon opening the link using despite using my metamask browser. And instantly, she didn't hesitated to send me a simple yet straight forward steps. How to Claim Cheque Using Metamask Browser **Pre-requisite:** You should have metamask wallet installed and set-up in your phone. Make sure you have BCH balance in your metamask wallet which is needed for the gas fee. Step by Step procedure on Claiming Cheque Launch you Metamask Applicaiton. My MudraGon side came out again! Date: October 14, 2021 Hello everyone! I failed to published an article yesterday again. It's my third missed article for the month of October. At the start of the current month, I have listed down some goals for the month of October which I will be trying to achieve. One of those goals is to publish 1 article per day, which means at the end of the month, I should have published a total of 31 articles. But as of today, I missed 3 days already. First is last October 5th because we have celebrated our stay-out helper's birthday. Second miss is last October 9th where wee have to attend my nephew's first birthday and dedication. My husband is one of the Godfather hence his presence is needed to witness my nephew's dedication. And third miss is yesterday (October 13, 2021). My Morning Routine as a Work From Home mom of three As part of my usual routine, I woke up before 6:00AM in the morning. As soon as I woke up, I will fix myself and then login and start checking my mails and our ticket queue. That normally takes more or less 30 minutes. After catching up with my emails, I will go downstairs and prepare our breakfast. I will cook our rice first and then while waiting for it to be cooked, I will prepare viand. Yesterday, I prepared scrambled eggs and fried "maling" (chicken luncheon meat). For those who are not familiar on what Maling is, here is a grabbed picture of it from the google. Image source https://ph.images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=Awrx5ZbEGGdh79AAZyPfSQx.;_ylu=Y29sbwMEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3BpdnM-?p=chicken+luncheon+meat&type=gsp_cryptosearch_00_00_ag28302&param1=1&param2=cat%3Dweb%26sesid%3Dcdc3cefaf0a09f67a83a5612c0ea971b%26ip%3D180.195.195.162%26b%3DChrome%26bv%3D87.0.4280.88%26os%3DWindows-10%26os_ver%3D10.0%26pa%3Dgencoll19%26sid%3De583aae754ef57eba0fa21945f2d1df1%26abid%3D23655%26abg%3D28302%26a%3Dgsp_cryptosearch_00_00_ag28302%26sdk_ver%3D%26cd%3D%26cr%3D%26uid%3D%26uref%3D&hsimp=yhs-071&hspart=dcola&ei=UTF-8&fr=yhs-dcola-071#id=1&iurl=https%3A%2F%2Ffdi.com.ph%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F08%2Fmaling-chicken.jpg&action=click At around 7:00AM, I went to my kids room and woke them up then go back downstairs to prepare their food in the table. After that, I went back to my desk to continue my work. After an hour, I checked my kids if they are done eating already. I went downstair and heated water to mix with a pale of water from the faucet. It's too cold hence I need to mix it with hot water so that my kids won't chill and enjoy their bath. So I asked my daughter (7 years old, Grade two) to just take two more spoon of rice and prepare to take a bath, then I faced my work again. After 30 minutes, I went downstairs again to check how my daughter is doing because I also need to fix her hair to make her look presentable during her online class (starts at 09:00AM). To my surprise, my daughter is just sitting in the sofa and did not even bother to take a bath. So I asked her *"Bakit hindi kapa naliligo?" (Why are you not taking a bath yet?)* she responded *"Wala po kasi akong damit". (I don't have clothes ready yet)* I actually didn't let my kids to become too dependent to us because when I have to report to the office, they need to take care of themselves like taking a bath, preparing their clothes, etc. So my husband thought them on how to take care of themselves. I told my daughter then: *"hindi maglalakad mag isa yung damit mo papalapit sayo.* *Kumuha ka dun sa damitan mo!. Magmadali ka nang maligo dahil malapit na mag nine".* **In English:** *"Your clothes won't walk towards you.* *Go and get them from your closet!. Double time because it's almost 09:00AM"* She then went upstairs to get her clothes but you will not see any sense of urgency the way she walks and the way she moves. So I repeated again *"It's almost 9:00AM, your class is about to start yet you're still moving so slow"*. I went back to my work desk again. MudraGon mode ON! After 15 minutes, I checked on my daughter and she didn't even shampooed her hair yet! I went mad and upset because despite how many times I told her to double time, she's not doing it and seems she really wanted me to get mad. I picked up my slipper and spanked her not once but twice! I got really mad at her. I then told her: *"I prepared breakfast early for you so that you can eat before your class, yet you ate so slow and now that your time is almost up, you are still moving so slow..* *Don't you want to attend your class?! Don't you want to attend school anymore?!* Then she answered: *No mom, I want to go to school.* So I responded: *If you want to attend school then move fast!. double time!. It's almost 09:00 AM!* Then I shampooed her hair to make it fast. After she wear her clothes, I combed her hair as well. It ended up with just simply combing her hair. I am not able to put some ribbons or pony tail because it's already 09:05 AM. After that incident, I went back to work. Had a lot of work related stuffs that I need to do that I didn't even noticed the time. My husband knocked at my door past 14:00 in the afternoon already and asked me if I had taken my lunch yet. So I said nope, not yet. I still have some stuff to do. So my loving husband went downstairs and when he's back, he handed me a plate of food and a tumbler filled with water. In case you're curious on what does **MudraGon** means, it was a combined word "Mudra" and "Dragon". Mudra is another tagalog term for "Mom". So if you'll going to translate it literally, Mudra + Dragon means **Mother Dragon**. Image source: https://i1.wp.com/www.themovingmama.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Picture21.jpg?fit=1415%2C944 I use that terminology whenever I get super mad with my kids and my other side came out. I suddenly transforms from being calm mom to being a mad mom. Kids most of the time are really hard headed isn't it? By the way, I have created the below MEME for you. https://imgflip.com/i/5qamz9?lerp=1634147259433

Which one to celebrate? Wedding Anniversary or BF/GF Anniversary? Date: October 12, 2021 *Notice to my non-Filipino readers: There are few Tagalog words in this article. You may want to google translate if you want to know their meaning.* Good day everyone!. How was your week so far? Did you had a productive Monday? If you're going to ask me? I had a lazy Monday I would say. I felt so tired and I just wanted to rest all day yesterday after work. In my yesterday's article: BCH asset to Fiat Currency to Shopee, I mentioned about my the items I have purchased from Shopee using my whole September read.cash BCH earnings. These are my gift to my husband for his birthday. Last night, while my husband and I are laying in our bed preparing to sleep (while our youngest son is busy roaming around the room playing his tiny metal cars), I suddenly asked him about what date it is already. So he told me , it's October 11 already. And so I said: ***oh!. My payday is waving and so as JUDITH (a.k.a Due Date).*** And then all of a sudden, our wedding date just popped out in my mind. So I told him: ***"Wait a minute!. Our wedding anniversary is nearly approaching as well! It's next week already!.*** Then I checked my calendar to see what day is it on October 22nd. And uttered: ***"And I totally forgotten it. I even agreed to work on October 23rd (Rest Day overtime)". If I only knew, I would have filed a Vacation Leave on that date!*** And guess what? When I asked him back if he remembered it, it turns out that he also forgotten about our wedding anniversary!. Oh my God! He startled when he realized that our wedding anniversary is by next week already. We didn't had any plans yet. It's really funny because both of us are already talking about planning on what are we going to do on his incoming birthday (October 31st) yet our wedding anniversary is even sooner than his birthday :). And the thing is, I've already got work-related commitments weekend following October 22nd. And it's my kids examination week as well next week. So then I asked him, ***so what now? How are we going to celebrate our wedding anniversary?*** **He answered:** ***There's only one anniversary that I know we have to celebrate and it's December 14. And this year, we're already turning 20 years!.*** I've felt slight "**kilig**" because he can still clearly recall the day that I say **YES** to him. Which to me, it means, he valued that day the most :). *Gusto ko pa sanang itanong kung anong araw yun kaso wag nalang at baka masira ang kilig moment ko..* ***"Ang tagal na pala natin noh? Ang tagal ko na ring nagtitiis sayo (biro lang syempre). "*** Just a quick background, we became BF/GF when we're in fourth year high-school. It was December 2001. I was just 15 years old during that time. And hence, it's already our 20th year of being together this coming December 14. He is my first crush, first love, first BF and of course my forever. ***Sa mga bitter dyan, I'm so sorry because naniniwala ako na "May FOREVER". (peace!).*** Here comes my question: **What do you think is worth the celebration?** **The day you became bf/gf ,or the day you became husband and wife?** In my personal opinion, it depends with you and your partner. In most occasions I guess both deserves a big celebration. Because both events define you and your partner's milestone of being together. It is the time that you both agreed to walk in this world full of challenges and reach your dreams together. But in our case, my husband and I gave more emphasis on the day we became bf/gf. We still use to celebrate our wedding anniversary though but in terms of intimacy of the events? BF/GF anniversary still weighs more than our wedding anniversary. Is it because our wedding is just civil? I would say maybe, because to be honest, in my personal opinion, church wedding has more impact to you and to your partner. I mean, since you've tied the knot and you've exchanged your vows in front of our Lord Jesus Christ, the commitments on fulfilling those promises you've made together is more serious. But then again, marriage is not the definition of successful relationship. It's between you and your partner's willingness to stay together and fulfill the promises you've made to each other. Marriage is nothing if one between the two gave up on their relationship. There are lots of marriage that did not worked despite the tears that the groom or bride shed during their wedding day. In fact, when Aljur Abrenica broke with Kylie Padilla, I believe there are MEMEs spreading about grooms who cried on their wedding day but then ended up with being separated after few years of being married. And the reason or breaking up? Third party - other woman. Closing Thoughts Celebrating your milestones of togetherness is nothing if your relationship with your partner is at the edge. Better to focus on how to make you and your partner's relationship grow. As long as you both have a healthy relationship, then you both can achieve a successful love story. There are no perfect marriage or relationship. There are lots of struggles and challenges in between. There are lots of temptations that will come across. But as long as you are both willing to stay together and has love for each other, it's worth the fight!. Love, Communication, Respect, TRUST and Support are the primary flavor of a healthy relationship. Many thanks for dropping by and sparing 5 minutes of your time reading this article of mine. It's exactly 10:00 AM as of this writing so I have to wrap this up now because I have meeting at around 10:30 AM today. If you still have some spare time, kindly visit my generous sponsors page as well. They have lots of interesting articles that you'll surely enjoy.

BCH asset to Fiat Currency to Shopee Date: October 11, 2021 *Notice: For my non-Filipino readers, please be informed that there are some tagalog words in this article. You can google translate if you're interested to know their meaning .* My day has started at 3:00AM earlier due to work. I took my breakfast at around 6:00AM. Here's our viand earlier. *Pinost ko talaga ito para maglaway kayo (charot!)..Alam kong isa ito sa paboritong almusal nating mga NoyPi lalong lalo na ang tuyo (fried fish) with kape!.* I've got sunny side-up eggs (6 pcs) , boiled eggs (6pc) and fried dried fish. Of course, my breakfast won't be complete without a cup of coffee. BURPPPP!... After breakfast, I quickly went outside to water my plants. And then, woke up my eldest son and daughter because they need to prepare for school already. Both my eldest son and my daughter are attending online classes. My daughter's class will start at 09:00 AM while my son's class starts at 09:30 AM. My husband cooked hotdogs for them because they do not eat fried dried fish. So while both of them are eating, I took the opportunity to write an article. I couldn't really think of any interesting topics hence I will just share with you my October 10 check-outs from shopee. October is my husband's birth month. His birthday is every 31st of October. He's not actually asking for any gifts or any celebrations during his birthday. But this year, since I have extra earnings from both read.cash and noise.cash, I thought of giving him a gift for his birthday (*para maiba naman!*). *And I knew he worked hard naman talaga para mapaunlad ang aming munting tindahan so deserve nya din siguro na mabigyan ng regalo*. We are non-materialistic couple actually. We're more of a practical couple. Instead of buying stuffs to entertain ourselves, we would rather add it as capital to our growing store. Yesterday, I asked him what does he wanted for his birthday. He asked me to open my shopee and then he searched the item that he wanted from there (hmmm looks like he's expecting this huh!.) Below are the ones I've purchased from yesterday's 10-10 shopee sale!. ***Pressure Washer*** First item that he has added into my card is a pressure washer. I've included in my screenshot below the seller for those who are interested to purchase as well. Though I am not sure of the quality and performance of this item yet. Not until we received and tested it :). I will post a review once we have received this item. I knew that he really wanted this even before because whenever we're given a chance to roam around inside a hardware, he will look for this one and check for it's price. This pressure washer is a bit pricey actually when you buy it from a mall or hardware as compared to this one from shopee. Mall price is almost doubled the price from shopee. He wanted this one so he can carwash his car and his motorcycle. There are instances where he would go to the fish port to buy fish which he would sell in his store. And we all know that fish ports are more muddy place hence when he gets home, his car is like very messy really. And since it's more of sea water, he need to wash his car immediately to prevent rusty attack. He told me that this water pressure is also useful in washing Chuchay's (our pet dog) poop and pee. So, after those convincing words, I decided to check-out this item. ***10 lbs Barbell Plate (2 pcs)*** My husband is an active type of person (unlike me). He exercise in a daily basis despite his busy schedule. So, to add into his collections of plates, I bought him 2 pcs of 10 pounds barbel plates. *BCH to Fiat Currency Conversion* He's very excited to receive these. And yesterday, I've transferred all my September Read.Cash earnings from my bitcoin.com wallet to my PDAX BCH wallet. That's 0.15417454 BCH in total as you can see from my screenshot below. And then from PDAX, I will have market sell 0.15 BCH. However, BCH price went down and the candle color is RED, so I think this is not a good time to sell yet. ***Dapat pala kahapon pa ako nagbenta. Sayang yung 500 PHP na difference from yesterday's price.*** Before hitting the Sell order, I tried to check BTC trend and looks like it's currently in GREEN state. As to my knowledge, BCH price trend is somehow related or following the BTC trend and since BTC is in GREEN state at the moment, I will halt from selling a little more time till BCH turned into GREEN. Of course I can wait for few more days because I know it might take 3 or more days for a courier to deliver an item specially if it's a bulky and a heavy one like my aforementioned orders. *BACK to Work!* My daughter's class is about to start 20 minutes from now hence I have to fix her hair first so that she will look presentable during her class. I will then back to work afterwards. Bye for now folks! Many thanks for dropping by. Thank you as always for your support.

My Greatest Fears Date: October 10, 2021 Hello everyone!. I am not able to publish an article yesterday because we have to attend on my nephew's Christening. My husband was one of the Godfather, hence we needed to be there and witness my nephew's moment to officially join the Christian world. He is my cousin's first born. The ceremony is very quick and simple. Only few guests are invited due to pandemic. I am so amazed because the Pastor who did the dedication is actually a Muslim. You heard it right! Despite the fact that he already turned himself to the Christian world and is currently sharing the word of God, he still embraces the fact that he's still a Muslim by heart. How did I came up with my topic "My Greatest Fears"? We arrived at home last night at around 10:30 PM. My youngest son fell asleep while we're on our way home from my cousin's house. So as soon as we have arrived, my husband immediately fixed our bedroom before he let us alight the car. I don't have plans to sleep yet cause I actually planned to clean the house and fix our things first before going to sleep but unexpectedly, while I am waiting my son to fall asleep again after I lay him down in bed, I also fell asleep :)..It's already 12 midnight when I woke up. I went downstairs to execute my initial plan and I am surprised cause I saw my daughter still watching television in our living room while his father (my husband) is sound asleep already in the sofa. I asked my daughter to go to sleep and start cleaning the kitchen. As soon as I am done with the cleaning, I felt like I wanted to sip a cup of coffee. I felt a bit hungry but I don't wanna eat really cause I am planning to go to bed after finishing my cup of coffee. I went upstairs at around 2AM, to supposedly sleep but I felt discomfort with my tummy. So I went to the washroom but then my youngest son suddenly woke up. So I woke up my husband and asked him to accompany our youngest son in our bedroom as he's really afraid of being alone in a room. *And that's how I came up with my topic "My Greatest Fears"* I strongly believe that every person has their greatest fear in life regardless of the age. Children and even grown-ups have their greatest fears in life. Even the strongest person on earth have fears in his/her life. Even the braver person has still some fear deep within their heart. There are lots of fear a single person could have. Fear of failing, fear of being betrayed, fear of dogs, fear of cats, fear of snakes, fear of water, and so on. But amongst these different fears an individual can have, there's always one or two that's predominant of them all. Let me site share of my greatest fear with you. Afraid of travelling over the Sea Some of you might already aware that I am from the province of Oriental Mindoro. The only way to go from and to there is via sea. We have to ride sea vessels. There are actually different types of sea vessels available at the port of Batangas and port of Calapan (the capital of Oriental Mindoro). There's what we call as RORO. In my knowledge, RORO stands for "Roll on", "Roll off" . Here is how RORO is being defined in https://www.merriam-webster.com https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Ro-Ro It takes around 2.5 hrs for a RORO to travel afrom Batangas port to Calapan port and vice versa. We also have a what we are so called as Fast Crafts. These are significantly small as compared to the RORO. It's sea travel time is 45 minutes from Batangas port to Calapan port and vice versa. Every time we ride a ferry, my fear is always there. Not for myself but mostly for my kids actually. I am not a swimmer, I mean I do not know how to swim at all. And that fear I mentioned is actually coming from the fact that anything can happen while we're in the middle of the BIG BLUE sea. *****So how do I overcome that fear of travelling over the sea?***** Upon entering any sea vessel, I do always make sure to have a presence of mind. I will look on where the life jacket's cabinets are and will do a silent plan in my head on what shall I do in case an emergency has happened. For Fast crafts, life jackets are usually located below each seats while for a big sea vessels like a RORO, there's a cabinet usually positioned at the middle part of the ship that contains the life jackets. Fear of travelling over the air My husband once asked me. *"Do you want to travel to other countries someday? "* Guess what my answer is? *"As long as I won't ride an airplane, why not!."* Then he asked me why. My answer is simple: *"I would rather travel over the sea than over the air cause when an accident happens and the airplane went down, there a very little to no possibility that you will survive in that crash. Unlike if over the sea and an accident happened, there is a higher possibility of survival as long as you have life jackets or life boats in there."* Fear of the dark I've been mentioning about this in my previous interactions with other friends in here that I am really afraid of the dark. Yes, I am a loner person but I don't want to be alone in a dark, and I think it has connection with my next fear. Fear of death I am afraid of death. Specially now that my kids are still small, this one is actually my greatest fear of all. I don't want to elaborate more on this one because I just don't want the idea of mentioning about death. *I can't even look at the person inside a coffin.* Fear of being the Center of Attention You heard it right. While others like to be the center of attention always, in my case, it's the opposite. I am afraid to talk in front of the crowd. Maybe I can only do this while my eyes are close. I mean I can only do this if I don't see everyone looking at me. But I think this fear actually is coming from my fear of being judged and criticized based on how I talk or move or walk hence I don't want anyone to focus on me. How about you guys? What's your greatest fear? Are you like me who are also afraid to travel over the air or sea? Or are you also afraid of the dark? I'd be happy to read what's your greatest fear list is. It's already 5:23 AM as of this writing. And I guess it's time for me to end this one now. Thank you so much for dropping by and spending 5 minutes of your time reading this article of mine.
