Happy Sunday. Everyone ready for a fun and blessed day? Doing laundry before breakfast. FB had this memory of mine. This was Chinese New Year. We went to an orange orchard to pick oranges. We are going to make a kind of rice cake. According to tradition we use this old wooden bucket. It’s made of cedar. It’s so heavy. They use it because it makes the rice smell so good.

I finally got my coffee! I usually drink tea, but today I wanted to treat my sister-in-law to coffee and she ended up treating me to coffee. She had two free cups on her 7-11 app. This is the fancy coffee - not my usual cheap stuff;). The flavor changes after you drink it. So it’s a little bitter at first and then sweetens after swallowing. Tastes like the truth that you don’t want to hear.

It’s morning, but it’s less than good. I just found out that my wife was scammed out of a lot of $$ and got her personal information. More money than we have, so we are running around closing bank accounts. They were very professional. They even had an app with the name of a real bank on it. So we are having a busy day. My wife is more stressed out than I am, because I have the Lord and trust in Him.

I love reading the Bible and I’m amazed how everything works out. We have to remember that when we are having difficulties. In the Bible while the story is playing out, things are not perfect. It’s only after that we can look back in hindsight and say- wow, that was incredible. Remember that when things are going bad, we are in the middle. When we reach the end, we can see and understand.

After class I walked back. It’s about an hour walk with a slight incline. The weather was perfect which was strange. The forecast was for a week of rain. Got up this morning and had trouble breathing, so I went to see the Chinese doctor. I had to wait forever. Probably two hours. Finally, I saw the doctor and he felt my pulse. Then I got one acupuncture needle and some herbal medicine. I like acupuncture because it’s different from the western doctor.

This morning I had a long wait for the doctor and I didn’t have breakfast. So I walked around and looked for something to eat. I found a new restaurant that served Hong Kong style breakfast. There is my Chang fen. It’s Cc like a big noodle with stuffing. The stuffing consist of vegetable like sprouts and ground meat. Quite a nice snack.
