Rare looking buds I see. You are right When in full bloom you will be able to identify them.

Neomarica gracilis is the scientific name for Walking Iris Flower. With three inner petals that develop upward and three horizontal petals that blossom outward against sharp, sword-like green leaves, the flower is truly unique.
