“And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1922/rom.8.26.RV1895 Todays verse is a reminder that we are never alone. Quite often in popular culture, God gets separated from the Trinity. In these views, He resembles Zeus or Santa, granting wishes or causing trouble. The first image that comes to mind are from the Family Guy. We need to be mindful that this stereotype is not true. God is everywhere. He is always with us and knows what we are going through. He knows what is best for us. He is helping us even when we don’t ask. Today’s verse reiterated that even when we are in so much pain or sorrow that we don’t know how or what to pray, He knows. He is always doing what He knows is right. When we don’t know how or what to pray, the Lord does not turn from us. The Spirit intercedes. We are always together and in His love. Take heart in these difficult times. You are not alone and you are not helpless.
