“beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1922/1co.13.7.RV1895 Todays verse really sums up a lot. It’s one of the best things about the Bible. So much information and context in a few lines. It’s almost as if it’s a hybrid form of poetry that affects us at different times in our lives- specially catered our individual need. Today’s is about love. It’s so fitting that today is Mother’s Day. Culturally and stereotypically mothers are a symbol of undying love. But not the only symbol. I’m out love a father, grandmother, uncle, friend, and even cousin can acquire this role. The special person who makes our lives complete. This is also the way God is. He is love. He bears everything, no more floods. He believes in us, that we will ultimately come to him. Hope is a little different. The meaning is different. If you look up hope in a dictionary, it means certain. And he endures us and our wickedness. The love of the Lord will last for ever. We should return His love as He has given us. Use love as glasses too as the world through.
