“and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me:” ‭‭S. Matthew‬ ‭18:3-5‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1922/mat.18.3-5.RV1895 Today’s verse really shows the style of Jesus. Jesus has a way of cutting too the chase. His disciples are worried about hierarchy in the kingdom. Isn’t that an adult thing to worry about. They assume they are in, and are concerned about the seating arrangement or whose is going to be in the room next to Jesus. Jesus stuns them by explaining that they must be like little children to enter the kingdom. Children aren’t concerned with the pecking order until the world teaches it to them. Children are only concerned with parents. They are always watching and learning from them. Their only goal is to be with the their parents and have their parents love. Today, let’s pray as if we are children. Let’s focus on our Father in Heave in everything we do.
