This will be a short and brief post as I am as of now watching a news while composing my thoughts. I see a cost increment (up to 300%) of vegetables due to the recent visit of the killer typhoon Maring especially here in my province of La Union and the rest of Northern Philippines. The typhoon left deaths of individuals, animals, broke infrastructures and architecture including farming and agriculture. I was wrecking and up to now, we are as yet attempting to fully recover.
Anyway....
Speaking of price tags, I see some netizens griping and complaining about items online with no price tags. There was likewise a law in the relatively recent past carrying out online sellers to put sticker prices/price tags on their items or they will be accounted for to DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) something like that.
I took up Commerce and I have concentrated on the study of Banking and Finance, Marketing and Economics during my college days and I thought I would share something in regards to recent complaints about sellers not posting prices online.
If you walk past a store window and see a dress inside, do you ever see the price tag?
NO.
The reason is because they want you to come inside so the seller can do their job. It may be an expensive dress, and if you see the price, you will keep walking. If you go inside, the sales person may be able to influence you to buy the dress.
Same thing applies to online selling.
It is reasonable and understandable for a seller to not post a price so they can talk to you about it, maybe even negotiate.
If they post the price though, you may just turn away and the seller loses a sale.
This is marketing whether you are online or offline. It is not unfair, it is business and you deal with it every time you are in a mall.
Would you complain to the mall that the stores don't show the prices in the window?
NO.
Buyers have to remember, it's harder to sell online than it is in person and making a personal connection through messaging is a key factor. If you're in a group of 20,000 people, there may be 200 others selling exactly what you are selling. Being able to make that connection with the buyer is the most important factor of making a sale.
And by the way buyers, when you see a price tag posted, please don't ask again "how much?" lol. It gets annoying seeing someone else's post holding top position. On the other hand, the seller should say "PM ME FOR PRICES" and buyers should not be lazy and read it lol.
That's all for tonight, dear friends. I am going back to watching the news, okay? Oooopps, it's almost over. Good evening and I hope everyone is doing well.
One love,

To my wonderful and amazing daily readers and my generous sponsors (old and new - TOO MANY OF YOU TO MENTION), from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
P.s.
Sorry, I had to edit this twice due typo errors. The odds of on-the-spot writing. Sigh!
I'm also an online seller, it's correct if I put the price in my post I don't have a chance to have a sales talk with a future buyer because there's no one to inquire na eh hihihi.
Buhay online seller needs a lot of patience to be able to sell because even if the price is posted once, they will still ask how much and the pre order items are already posted, they will still ask onhand? The location has been posted, will still ask for the location please. Laban lang tayo mga online seller sa mga small business natin para may pang tustus sa mga basic needs natin.
I love this article, gusto ko sana i share to na article sa socmed ko hihi.
