Hello noisemates! How's everyone doing? I miss you all and I miss this community. It's been a long time since I've shared something here. I've been extremely busy these past few months. This #caturday, I want to introduce the newest member of our animal kingdom. Welcome to the family, Yoshi. 😻 My sister bought him to have a pet who can kill mice. I heard he plays with the mouse before he kills it. He's been doing a great job while showing some love to his hooman too. He loves a lot of petting. Nice to have you Yoshi. I love to see you again when I visit my family next time. 😸

After celebrating my birthday, my youngest nephew comes next. We had the celebration at Dad's buffet restaurant. I really love it coz we can make the most out of buffet, being a big family. The best past is that the celebrant is free of charge. I had 4 plates of food last time. This main course is the first one I had. This includes yangchow rice, sushi and maki, fish fillet shrimp and crabstick tempura, honey garlic pork, and chicken. It's indeed an abundant way to start the meal. I'll show the next 3 plates in the next few days. 🥳😋

Just celebrated my 36th year of existence last Friday. I'm more than thankful for the happy and peaceful celebration with my family and for a happy tummy as well. 😁🥳

Last mother's day, my aunt invited us on a family outing. It's her treat. We've been to Swissotel, a 5-star hotel in Clark, Pampanga. The place is so amazing, it's really worth calling a 5-star hotel from ambiance to service. I couldn't ask for more. It's an enjoyable and comfortable experience for customers. We had a night swimming after taking pictures at the pool area. I also get to enjoy the swimsuit I bought and shared here last Christmas. I was able to finally put it to use. I wish I can use the other set. Hopefully when we have another outing next time. I'm very thankful to my aunt for this relaxing experience. I was able to unwind. 🏖

Feathers for mom 😇 Two weeks ago, something unusual happened. I've seen 7 feathers at the parking space in front of my window. A few days later, I had a dream about it. In my dream, I happily talk to mom, telling her that I saw angel signs coz I've seen 7 feathers. Mom just smiled and disappeared. I woke up. I may not understand the message but I thank mom and the angels for taking time to communicating with me. I will figure the message one of these days. I found a few feathers again so I decided to bring them to mom as we visit her during the mother's day. See you in my dreams again mom. Happy mother's day.

My generous neighbor had her vacation in Malaysia. One of the snacks she bought there is this dried guava. She gave me this one. Most of the dried foods sold here is dried mango. It's my first time trying dried guava and it's so good. It's more delicious than dried mangoes. It's sweet and chewy. There's no need to dip it in salt coz there's a salt in it already. I'm very thankful to my generous neighbor.

Panna Cotta Trio 🍮 This is another star of the night for a sweet tooth like me. I always love to have a dessert after a hearty meal. Casie's restaurant offers panna cotta so I ordered some. They serve it as a set of three different flavors such as vanilla, mango and cappuccino. Vanilla flavor has a toffee topping that goes well with its milky flavor. Mango flavor has crumble toppings that taste a bit like crunchy caramel. Lastly, cappuccino flavor has chocolate toppings. I personally like it the most coz I love the combination of chocolate and coffee taste in desserts and I'm a chocolate lover as well. Overall, I love these soft and fla orful desserts. They are easy and convenient to eat and the sweetness is just right. You can taste the flavor more than sugar and they really go well with their toppings. I recommend this dessert especially to those who prefer light snacks. I highly recommend Casie's restaurant if you happen to pass by near my hometown in Malolos, Bulacan. This place is located along McArthur highway. It's very accessible even to commuters coz public vehicles pass in front of this restaurant. The place has a nice ambiance and attractions, a cozy environment, quality meals, and a very accessible location. Casie's restaurant is worth the try.

Spicy Scallops Pasta 😋 Scallops is one of my three favorite seafoods and it's very rare here. Some restaurants here are offering scallops for a limited time. I was so happy when I saw that Casie's restaurant is offering scallops pasta in their menu and it's not a limited time offer, it's their regular menu so I ordered right away. I feel more than satisfied with its flavorful and creamy sauce. You can taste how the flavor of scallops blends well with the cream and its mild spiciness coming from bits of chili really suits this flavorful pasta. They serve it with lemon so I put a bit of its extract for a nice contrasting taste. The chunky olives and scallops toppings are making a blast of flavor in your mouth. This is alsoserved with a bread similiar to the mac n' cheese I showed yestereday. This meal is indeed beyond enjoyable especially for seafood lovers. It's so delicious and filling due to its heavy serving.

Mac n' Cheese 🍽 Mac n' cheese is my nephew's favorite pasta. He loves cheesy sauce a lot. He ordered this one but the serving is too heavy so he got full before he can finish the meal. He gave the leftover to us. I was able to try it. This mac n' cheese has a unique taste. There's a meaty taste that goes well with its thick, cheesy sauce. The garlic bread is a bit crunchy on the outside and the rest is soft so it's easy to chew. It tastes even better when you dip it on the mac n' cheese sauce. I love the combination of this meal. It's delicious and filling.

1st Meal 🍕 Casie's restaurant offers a lot of meals you can find in a cafe. Most of their meals are pizza and pasta. This cheesy pizza was the first meal they served to us. Despite not having toppings, this pizza is so flavorful due to its thin crust. You get to enjoy its cheesy and buttery flavor that is so satisfying. This pizza is recommended for cheese lovers and kids who hate toppings.

Dining outside 🍽 One of the nicest things of having a big place is the option to dine outdoors. Casie's restaurant offers the option to dine inside or outdoors. We chose to feel the breeze and dine outdoors while enjoying the ambiance with the lights. It's a bit windy that day so we had a good time outdoors. We enjoyed the fresh feeling while enjoying the foods. I'll start showing some of their meals in the next few days. 😀

Casie's Restaurant Part 3: The Attraction Aside from having a nice ambiance and a big place, you will also find an attraction and activity center behind Casie's restaurant. We had a little walk there before ordering our meal. This huge plane is the main attraction. Behind it is an activity center for live performances or celebrations. There was a birthday celebration in this activity center the last time we've been there. It's also a fun place for children. They have inflated slides behind this plane. It's definitely an activity center that is enjoyable for all ages.

Sharing the next part of Casie's restaurant series 🍽 This is the garden at the entrance. This adds to the attractive ambiance of the restaurant. It really looks great at night. The lights give off a classy look that suits the big and cozy place. I love how the plants are placed in an organized manner. It doesn't look cluttered despite having different sizes. It's a welcoming entrance indeed.

Easter Dinner 🍽 After having my vacation on my family's place, my sister decided to drop me at the apartment. As we enter my hometown my we decided to have a dinner on Casie's restaurant. It's a big and cozy place. That alone makes dining comfortable. This is the front of the restaurant. Its ambiance is good enough to entice people to dine in.

After seeing my neighbor's pet Yaggie, it's now Loki's turn. I had my vacation and I stayed with my family during the holy week so I was able to pet our dear Loki. The difference between him and Yaggie is that Loki is a fox type pomeranian while Yaggie is a bear type and a bit smaller than Loki. My nephew let Loki out to feed him. Loki saw me so he started peeking like this at the door, waiting for me to go out. 🐶

Some of you have seen our dogs before. Do you remember our pomeranian, Loki? He has a look-a-like here in the apartment now that I have a new neighbor. Meet Yaggie, my neighbor's pet. 🐶 I managed to start building friendship with my new neighbor and I'm glad that she is also a freelancer so she stays in her unit most of the time. Now I'm not alone the whole day anymore. I even got myself new furbaby friends and Yaggie is one of them. He's a small version of our Loki. He is a bear type pomeranian. He barks a lot but he doesn't bite. He's now calm when I'm around. Nice to meet you cutie Yaggie. 🥰

It's been a while. I've been inactive to pay respect to the Holy Week. I'm back with this set of art. It's my simple way of paying forward using the talent that was given to me. Easter egg painting started to be our activity since last year. Looks like this will be consistent from now on. I painted these eggs with my nieces, nephews, and sister. The first photo is a shot of the ones I made. The next photo is a shot of all the eggs we made and they were donated to the church on a Saturday night so they will be distributed on Easter Sunday. I wonder who among the kids got my works. I hope the kids enjoyed those Easter eggs. Happy Easter everyone. 🌟

Finishing women's month with an extremely happy heart this Friyay! 🥳🤩 This outfit marks the happy ending of my women's month treat to myself. I really love shopping for clothes and this is another item I bought from Shein without hesitations. I was o attracted the first time I saw it. I browsed on the reviews and seeing how it fits people with slim figure, I got more excited so I bought this awesome casual wear. I was so happy when it arrived so I tied it. You really get what you see in photos. It fits so well and what I love most is that this outfit has both the style and comfort I am looking for. I love how grayish blue and beige look good together. It has a lot of space for personal belongings as well. The last batch of my women's month haul has arrived. This top is one of them. 👚 I'm getting ready for summer and this outfit is doing a great job. The fabric is soft and very comfy. It's very flowy too, which suits the frilly style. This top is great for hot weather. I might wear it if ever we have another summer outing.

A blessing has come as I heard of a great news two days ago. 😇 The investor who is a big supporter of Spice NFT announced that the Batch 5 of our works has been sold. He's been buying our works slowly despite the bear market and the issues with the sbch bridge that made it hard for investors to buy NFTs. I'm very grateful for this supportive guy who bought roughly more than 80% of the 100 artworks that Spice project has launched. He's actually the person who bought all my 12 artworks. Here's the screenshot I took when I compiled all my artworks. This makes me extremely happy and I'm excited for Batch 6. I know that the next launch might take long due to the challenges that sbch currently has but I'm preparing and I'll find time to slowly finish my sketches so I can submit them anytime that Spice NFT will have another launching. I personally thanked the guy who supports Spice. May he be blessed more. I will keep on improving and producing high quality artworks. Long live Spice! 🥳

Women's month pampering continues 🥰 Parcels keep on arriving and this makes me excited. Another dress arrived and I love it so much. I tried it and it fits so well. A simple treat to myself while celebrating women's month. I realized that I don't have a dress to wear anymore coz the old ones I have are for donation while they are still usable. It's time to replace them with the ones with better quality and of current trend. This is the one I bought so far. I never had this style before. I love how its style suits both summer and casual day out purposes. It also satisfies the style and comfort I am looking for in an outfit so I'm happy with this dress. I was so busy that I didn't realize that it's the year of the rabbit. 😱🐇 Since it's the year of the rabbit and I was born at the year of the rabbit as well, I'm sharing our dear Caleb's party. Some of you have seen the edited version of this way back 2021, where I put party hat and sparkles on him. This is the original photo. I miss him since dad gave him to the neighbor. I'm just keeping a lot of his photos as remembrance. I used to feed him so I did a little food art for him and I was surprised that he loves to eat flowers and dried leaves, and even the wood and the glue. 😅 I didn't let him finish. I replaced it with fresh leaves right away coz I don't want him to eat glue. This is one of my memories with Caleb. Let's party with him this Friyay. 🥳🐇

Rise and shine with a winning art this #Winsday 🎨 It's been a few grueling weeks before I was able to finish shading. This made me extremely busy. The approach I did is the concept of uniformity in giving volume to the characters by adjusting a little bit of shading style for each character but still maintaining their original looks to make them recognizable. The best part is that the muscles I love most have volume now. 🤭 I personally find Ironman the most difficult not only in shading but in the overall drawing process since he's the one with the most details. This is also my first time drawing a detailed iron suit. The more details the drawing has, the harder it is to color. Since I'm a 2D artist, I applied 2D coloring style to Ironman even if he is 3D most of the time while ensuring that the shading will give a volume that matches his iron suit. This approach will also be a good match with the other characters that are 2D Japanese anime style. I figured that the metallic look I want to achieve with ironman will depend on the highlights and gradients that will give his suit the right gloss, which will give the right look for his suit. For Vegeta, I based my shading on Dragonball Super since it has a modern look and it has a smooth texture which will match Ironman's texture. I chose the blue sando for his outfit because it's the outfit I like most. He looks badass when he shows off some biceps. Lastly, Zoro is personally my favorite since I'm his fan. I enjoyed drawing him the most. His art style has the most 2D look with his pure cel shading style. I modified it a bit for uniformity. I did some blending to him like what I did to Ironman and Vegeta's shading. The coloring style I did for Vegeta and Zoro is the concept of creating a drawing version of action figures. This matches Ironman's texture while still making them look recognizable since I stick to the original art style for their faces. The only easy part here is the rocky floor becaue the software I am using has a built-in rock brush. This art may have been a tedious work but it's all worth the effort because it's very satisfying to see the ideas that turned into a reality with this result. I only have the background left to do. My target is to finish this art commission this week. I will share the final result. 🤩

Catching up with #Caturday to beat the Monday blues. 😺 Calico cats are rare in this street and I'm glad to encounter this stray cat. The best part is that she likes humans. She approached me when I tried to call her after taking a photo. I wish her luck in finding her food. I just gave my extra food to the pet here. I'm just glad I was able to pet her.
