We witnessed another close games.
A game that determines who will advance the fight.
Forty Uppers gave all their might.
And made the audience stunned of how they played inside the court last night.
Good evening my wonderful read dot cash family. How's your Tuesday? What's new? What makes you busy today?
As for tonight's blog, I'll be sharing with you how did the second game of my papa went. And without any further ado, let me start sharing the story with you all...
Around 5 pm last night, the SK Chairperson (the event organizer) together with his SK Officials prepared the venue. They start setting up the speakers, amplifiers, and even the court. They swept the floors to get rid of the stones inside the court. That stones might cause a sprain if you accidentally step into it. (That was the reason why I sprained my ankle a month ago.) Then around 6 pm, we already heard our SK Chairperson announcing that the games will begin in a minute. So, after eating our dinner last night, my papa prepared his self. He wore his attire, of course, with a shoes. As his supporters, mama and I bought him an extra shirt and a bottle of water, because we knew that he will really get thirsty. Its basketball and it will surely consume a lot of energy while running.
When we arrived at the court, we found a perfect spot where mama and I, together with my Aunt and my cousins sat down.
To start the game, there should be a tip off or a jump ball like this;
The opponent's team got the first and second shots and scores. So, the score was 4 against 0. Of course, in favor of the opponent's team. The crowd even shouted, "ayy! Nagpapainit pa lang yan." (referring to my papa's team.) The following minutes in play, my papa and other members of the team made a consecutive points. And ended the first quarter with a score 5 against 10, in favor of my papa's team. "Cheering squad ang peg." ^_^
Everytime my papa's team gets a score, we shouted like a pro. I mean, the crowd really becomes stunned because of our loud voices. (Laughing) Well, not just us, including the wives of my papa's team members was there to support them. They received a lot of cheers from us.
In the second quarter, the opponent's team started to score too. But my papa tries to drive a lay up and scored consecutively. ("Proud daughter here, of course!") I and my cousin Rhian shouted so loud where the audience beside her said, "You both are so loud" and then the crowd laughed out loud too. I can't remember the score but my papa's team got in favored for it, up to third and the last quarter. To cut the story short, they ended up the game with a WIN. (Crowd celebrating)
After their game, another two teams from Forty Uppers Division were fighting to gain the spot for the championship. And the one who won was from the Proper's Team. And that means, my papa's team and their's will be the teams that will play for the Champion.
Their game will be this coming Thursday night. And tonight, it will be our game. The second day of Volleyball Women's Division. So, I'll be off na muna and prepared myself. ^_^
Thank you for reading my blog my read dot cash family. (Hugs and Kisses)
