We recently celebrated our 23rd anniversary 🎊🥳❤️of being together. It still feels unreal sometimes, how fast the years have passed. We are not yet married, but in my heart, I know that what we have is real and strong. Our journey is not perfect. Like any couple, we have faced many challenges, misunderstandings, and hard days. But we also shared laughter, small victories, and simple moments that made everything worth it. We learned to understand each other more as time goes by. We did not have a grand celebration. Just being together, remembering all the years we’ve been through, is already enough for me. What matters most is that we are still here, choosing each other every day. I may not know what the future holds, but I believe that if it is God’s will, everything will fall into place at the right time. For now, I am thankful for the love we continue to share and the life we are building together.

Making a tulip using fuzzy wire is a simple and fun DIY project. It’s perfect even for beginners. But this project is extra special for us because my daughter will sell her handmade tulips for Valentine’s Day. It’s a great way to create something beautiful for decoration, gifting, or small handmade business ideas while practicing creativity and patience. I'm going to post this on my social media account because I'm going to help her sell her handmade fuzzy wires. This year we won't wrapped it in a bouquet wrapper. Her idea was to put it into a transparent plastic and add ribbon. She want something unique so it will be more attractive for the buyers.

Happy Birthday, my firstborn Today, I celebrate the day you came into my life and changed me forever. You were the first one to teach me how to be a parent, how to be patient, strong, and full of unconditional love. Watching you grow has been one of the most beautiful journeys of my life. You may not always say much, but your kindness, respect, and gentle heart speak loudly. I am so proud of the person you are becoming. Through challenges and quiet moments, you continue to stand tall and move forward. Never doubt your worth, your strength, or your dreams. Always remember that you are deeply loved, supported, and believed in. May this new year of your life bring you happiness, good health, and confidence to chase your goals. I will always be here, cheering for you, no matter where life takes you. Happy Birthday, my son 💙🎂

@UsagiGallardo215

As 2026 begins, I find myself thinking deeply about my goals in life. Goals that may don't sound impressive like the others. They are simple goals, but they are important to me and to my family. One of my main goals for 2026 is to work harder so I will not be a burden to anyone. I want to be more productive in everything I do, whether it is at home or in small opportunities that come my way. I know I still have many limits, but I believe small efforts done every day can slowly change my situation. I don’t want to depend too much on others. I want to stand on my own feet, even if it takes time. I also want to be a better mother to my children. Being a mother is not only about providing food or things, but also about being present. I want to listen to them more, guide them gently, and make sure they feel loved and supported. I don't want them to feel like the way I feel before, unwanted and lack of attention.

@UsagiGallardo215

Right now, I feel a mix of heaviness and relief. I’ve had to make the hardest decision of my life—leaving behind the home I’ve known and my four precious children, even if just for a while. It hurts deeply, and guilt follows me everywhere, but I know I need to heal myself first. I need space to breathe, to find strength, and to rebuild the part of me that’s been silenced for too long. This isn’t the end—it’s a pause, a moment to gather courage and hope.

@UsagiGallardo215

Yesterday was not a very good day for me because my stomach hurt badly due to acidity. I felt weak and uncomfortable the whole day, and it made me realize how stress and tiredness can really affect the body. With everything that happened these past weeks, my health reminded me to slow down and take care of myself too.

@UsagiGallardo215

From my point of view, life is a journey full of challenges and lessons. Not every day is easy, and there are moments when we feel tired or discouraged. But I believe that every experience, whether good or bad, helps us grow. Life may not always go as planned, but trusting the process and learning from each step makes us stronger and more grateful. Just looks at us now, we are starting to build our second floor. We waited for this moment to come and finally we are here. We will start another story of our life as one happy and grateful family. What is the moment your all been waiting for

@UsagiGallardo215

This 2025 I want to be thankful because me and my family had overcome many trials and problems. One of them is the endless flood. My kids always make me proud, they are my inspiration and strength. Having them is the biggest blessings I received from God. And because 2025 end my husband finally started building our second floor. We don't need to leave our house to evacuate. We don't need to endure the painful athlete's foot or be frightened by sickness because of flood. We thank 2025 for the lessons it taught us, it made us stronger, prouder and ready for the better or worse days to come. We know that Jesus will always guide us all.

My youngest daughter’s year end party was a very special day for all the kids in that school. We woke up early because the children needed to be at school on time. I could already feel the excitement while helping her get ready. She was one of the angels, wearing a white dress made special by her sister @katsuki29. It was a plain white dress but she added a lot details to it. The halo was made with tiny papers, she patiently assemble it one by one. Ria looked so happy and proud, even if she was a little shy.When they arrived at the school, many children already dressed in different costumes. All the kids looked adorable in their outfits. Some were smiling, some were quiet, and some were clearly nervous, but they were all trying their best. Parents were busy fixing costumes, taking photos, and reminding their children where to stand.

@UsagiGallardo215

Instead of having a usual year-end party with games and food, my second year college daughter and her classmates chose a different way to celebrate it. Their school gave them a choice. They could help kids or animals, they decided to visit an animal shelter. It was a small decision, but it turned into a meaningful experience for all of them. Before the visit, each student contributed what they could. Some brought dog and cat food, while others shared small amounts to help the shelter. There was no pressure to give much. What mattered was that everyone joined and cared. My daughter was excited and curious because it was her first time visiting an animal shelter. I was worried that she'll be scratch by the animals. So I told her to be very careful. When they arrived, they were welcomed by the volunteers. The shelter had many dogs, each with different stories. Some were playful and energetic, while others were quiet and shy. The volunteers explained how the animals were rescued and how they are cared for every day. The children listened closely and showed respect. It was memorable experience at the animal shelter.

Hello everyone, yesterday was a bit special for us because my 15-year-old son caught two big shrimps in his father's fishnet. I was really surprised when he lifted them up and showed them to us because they were huge. The two is surely enough for the four of us. And honestly, we really missed eating fresh shrimps. I could see in his face that he was proud of his self. So I decided to cook it right away and make something simple that all of us will surely enjoy. The preparation was easy. First, I cleaned the shrimps by cutting the claws and brushing it. I also remove the head cover so all shrimp fat will mixed in tbe soup. When the broth tasted nice, I added the shrimps. They cooked fast because they were fresh. The color changed right away, and the smell filled our small kitchen. I just added a bit of fish sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes until the soup became creamy and the shrimps were cooked perfectly. We shared the dish together, and it felt like a small reward after everything we’ve been going through lately.

Every year in our barrio, we celebrate the feast day of Saint Lucy, the healer of the eyes. This celebration is very special to us because it brings the whole community together. Even if life is hard sometimes, the month of December brought a wonderful vibes for all of us. The altar was decorated carefully, and you can feel the love of the people in every small detail. Some families came early to pray quietly, asking for healing, guidance, and protection for their loved ones. At 4 am many are going to the church especially the mananata they are devoted to the Saint Lucy, they never missed to go in the church every year. Some came from very far places. Children, parents, and elders were all present. I saw many mothers holding their kids while whispering prayers. Some people touched the image of Saint Lucy, believing in her power to heal especially the eyes. It was a simple mass, but very meaningful.

@UsagiGallardo215

Me and my kids ride our small boat and go to the little island. We don’t always go there, but today we felt like getting some fresh tamarind. The island is not far, it's also good to go boating in the morning. It's just sad that instead of walking we needed to paddle our boat. When we arrived, the tamarind trees were already waiting for us hanging heavy on every branches. The kids got excited and went up to get the sampaloc. The background was full of grass and soil that we don't have right now. It’s not every day we get to enjoy this kind of simple adventure together. We can freely walk, we even want to live in the abandon house. But it's really creepy, we don't want to peek inside.

@UsagiGallardo215

Yesterday was the first novena mass of our patron saint, "Saint Lucia." But we weren't able to attend. My kids and I really wanted to, but I have no money to spend. We usually walk to be able to go to the church. But our place is really different now. The road is flooded, so even though we are near the church we need to take the longer side. Just like the others too, I know Saint Lucy understands the flood corruption that is happening to our place and she is able to punish them all.

@UsagiGallardo215

This afternoon when I went to the school to get my six year old daughter Ria, I noticed that she was sad. She told she wasn't able to bought the coloring book with sticker. But all her classmates was able to have it. Last night she told that she needed bring .50$ because a seller will go to their School and sell some stuff to them. But she was late early this morning and the seller already left said the teacher. Some of her classmates we're kind to give her some stickers. She still have the money and her elder sister will just brought her tomorrow.

@UsagiGallardo215

We celebrated Ria's cousin's 7th birthday at Cassa Villa, and it was an unforgettable day! The place was packed with family and friends, and the colorful balloons and bright lights made everything feel like a mini-debut. Such a grand and joyful celebration. The funny part is that Ria actually had the flu the day before. I told her we could skip the party so she could rest, but she insisted that she wanted to go. She didn’t want to miss her cousin’s big day, and she said she would behave and not run around too much. I agreed, as long as she felt okay. Thankfully, she looked energetic during the whole event and seemed happy to be there. At one point, Ria leaned closer to me and quietly said she felt a little envy. She wished she could have a birthday like that someday. Hearing her say that made my heart ache a bit, because as a mother, of course I want to give her everything she dreams of. But I also know our situation, and I can’t promise something grand like the one we attended. I know she understands it. Moments like these remind me that love and presence matter more than anything else.

@UsagiGallardo215

My daughter bought a DIY mirror box online because she wanted to make something special for her friend. At first, she wasn’t sure if she could do it, but she took her time, followed each step, and worked on it with a lot of patience. I watched her twist the tiny wires, fix the flowers, and carefully place each mirror panel together. It wasn’t easy, but she didn’t give up. When the lights finally turned on, it looked so magical — like endless glowing flowers inside a tiny box. I could really see the love and effort she poured into it. This simple project reminded me that gifts don’t have to be expensive to be meaningful. Sometimes, the best ones are made by hand, with love, hard work, and a kind heart. And she knows her friend is all worth it to have it.

@UsagiGallardo215

I'm happy that my son that lives in my in-laws house is already fine. Her sister visits her but still not that strong. Maybe it's because his antibiotics was not continued. It's my mother-in-law decision to stop it. But he bought my son for it's cough. They also went to a faith healer and it saw that my son encountered spirits or ghost. I hope they won't allow my son to go outside specially at night time.

@UsagiGallardo215

I wonder how is my son doing right now. I'm her mother, but my rights was removed! Flood days we evacuated in my in-laws house. My youngest child had a severe cough. My son Jj that lives in my in-laws house was affected too! He had a flu so even Sunday we look for a pediatrician to check on him. But I didn't expect that my mother in law will said that my son needed to stop the antibiotics! Yesterday their teacher was calling me and his also asking about my son but I don't know what to say. She also knew our situation. My heart is not good because I haven't seen my son at school 💔 please pray for us

@UsagiGallardo215

This morning my children and I went out and picked tamarind. We picked it from the tree ourselves. We were just bitten by a bee, it hurts when they bite us. I thought it would be a good day, but it wasn't. My husband came home very angry and upset. The happy morning was turned to be a disaster.

@UsagiGallardo215

Struggles are real when you feel so tired of everything. Mentally and emotionally! I'm not myself anymore. I was full of hope but didn't expect to get tired of dreaming. I am just proof of a woman who was not valued. If I were, maybe our life would not be as hard as these.

@UsagiGallardo215

My six year old daughter and ten year old son had suffered from dry cough. They also had flu for two days so I have to bring them to the doctor. They were given antibiotics but needed to stay in bed for three days I was really worried and pity them so much. I also had dry cough so I know how hard it is. But I didn't care about my health and didn't drink any medicine. I just want to them to be healed 🙏🏻

@UsagiGallardo215

Tropical cyclone UWAN really tested our strength. Aside from our roof is weak because it already have holes and already rusty. It almost fall out, my husband and son just tight it. There are a lot of people that mostly suffered aside from us. Cebu was almost vanished because of bagyong TiNo. But they never lost hope and rise after the calamity. Hope everyone is fine is doing well.

@UsagiGallardo215

What keeps me healthy and fit with four kids plus a naughty husband lol 🤣. Of course the stress and problems that they gave to me. But honestly, I'm proud of my genes for having a medium frame body. Some of my friends are struggling to loss or gain weight. They eat a lot but there body remains the same while others eat a little but they gained too much. In that point you'll probably questioned your self did I missed a healthy diet or exercise? Am I stress? The answers is probably Yes

@UsagiGallardo215

It's never too late to put flowers and candles on them. I brought my kids with me to visit their older cousin that died because of drowning in our water world. The flood was not that deep, but his companion panicked that cause them to both drown and died. The memories are still fresh on my mind, eight years ago my husband and his relatives are searching for their body. Her mother just got in time after they got the body that was cold as ice. A tear fell on the eye of the 14 year old boy. They tried to revive it but it seems that they were both called in heaven. Her mother often collapse in his son's wake and vigil. Their reason; his so strong, no illness and all of sudden he accidentally drowned. They didn't blame anybody but it was very painful.

@UsagiGallardo215

We were told to attend the small gathering, but my husband didn't allow us. Good thing my son passed by after his father went to Manila for its work. He was called by their relative and already know the reason why we weren't able to attend. They told my son if you came earlier; not only this you'll have. Up to now I don't know why my husband didn't allow us to attend. He can brought us in the place and he can see his relatives. But sometimes I didn't bother to ask

@UsagiGallardo215

My husband bought some spare yellow fin tuna fish. If it wasn't a spare it surely be pricey. He told me that a tuna fish cause about 800 pesos per kilo or $14. While he only had it for 300 pesos or $5.2 that's a lot of difference. It was my first time eating it. I'm used to eating fish in our water world. Because his a good cook he made a delicious meal. The ingredients are onion, ginger, tomatoes, seasoning and freshly picked tamarind. First, he wash all the ingredients. Boil the tamarind and put all the ingredients together put the seasoning and add fish sauce according to taste. Happy weekend everyone

@UsagiGallardo215

Hubby told his friend that we need to unwind for a while. But I'm not the typical type that can took pictures while the motorcycle is moving. So it need to stop then I'll picture every beautiful view that I'll spot. I had a lot of memories in our one and only motorcycle. I used it to sell eggs during pandemic. Hubby didn't bought it brand new it's from his brother. It had an severe accident that causes him to sell it. Because they are siblings he sold it for a much cheaper price. Years pass by it turned old and often wrecked so hubby often bring it to the repair shop. I told him to bought a new one but he just ignore it.

@UsagiGallardo215

My husband is expert in tying the "duyan" or hammock of our kids. My uncle that grew in Manila amaze him a lot. We are nerd in the province life they have. Ria was sick that time, we just got home from the hospital. My husband was so worried it thought that her child had a dengue. But all her laboratory results are clear. When a child is sick all they want is to carry them. But for a full time mom like me, not only her is that I need to work for. The duyan helps me a lot, they help my kids to sleep longer. In the morning after they ate their breakfast, I will let them play, by 9:30 Ria will take a bath and by 10:30 she's snoring in her duyan. I can now do the rest of my house chores. Time management is really important.
