Day 1: What Makes me Happy?

A lot of things happened last month and there are a lot of topics that I want to write about. The only trouble is I lack time, well that's why I am here trying to get back on track on this platform and keep grinding.

Anyway, let's check this one out.
I got the habit of doing random article or answering questions during the weekends, so I plan to do this challenge every weekends if possible hahaha!
Let me give a try. My apologies if you may find my answer not that happy, but I'll still try my best.
List 10 things that make you really happy
Hair dye
I have shared in one of my articles that I love dyeing my hair. I've been DIY-ing my hair (hair cut or dyeing) since 2009 as far as I can remember. I used to change hair colors every month or every other month or until I got bored with my hair and how I look again.
I haven't dyed my hair since I got pregnant. When I gave birth I only got to bleach my hear twice since then. As much as I would like to dye my hair into different colors again, I don't have time to do so because I don't want to ask favor to my parents to take care of Lil B for a few hours. It would be great and it will make me happy again if I can buy different brands of semi-permanent hair dyes again.
Shopee orders
I know that this may sound a little bit too shallow but I am happy when I get to receive the items that I ordered. Don't get me wrong I don't always purchase stuff for myself, it's either for Lil B or my husband. Being a first time mom, I always browse things or toys that I can purchase for Lil B but I am limiting myself to buy stuff because we will move out soon and we can't carry them all, plus finances are getting tight. hihi!
Who knows, I might be a Shopee seller too! Char!
Coke/cold drinks
I don't know but I love cold drinks specially an ice cold Coke! Coke indeed does have coke in it. hahahaha!
Health
Good health to be more specific. I am happy to know that the people I value the most are in good health. Just recently, Lil B got sick and I am thankful that even if she's not feeling well she's still active. Nothing makes me happier to know that she's already well and my husband is healthy too, as our provider the line '*bawal magkasakit'* is the rule.
Food
I am sure food makes everybody is happy. No questions asked! Let me share a few joke quotes:

Gaming stuff/PC parts
Me and my husband plays pc games. I tried to build my own rig years ago, when I still have a job. Unfortunately the parts that I bought are already an older version and yet I haven't completed my rig yet. Since I can't use my pc most of the time now, I decided to give it to my husband. We can just buy and upgrade parts so that it can run smoothly in playing games that he likes. We also plan to mine crypto, definitely we will need to invest on this too.
Yellow
Yellow is my favorite color. I see it as a happy color and whenever I see yellow things it always lightens up my mood, makes me happy. :)
Money
Yes, it's not my main source of happiness but it does make me happy in a way. I can purchase things that make me happy if I have the money. Being a full-time stay at home new mom, I miss working. Going to the office, going out with friends, earning my own money monthly, spending it nicely but I don't have that now. I only ask money from my husband if I need to buy something like for supplies, food or other things that he needs.

My own family
Having my own family gave me a new and different perspective in life. My husband and Lil b are my main source of happiness. Even if we are still in an Ldr set up, nothing makes me happy knowing that I'll have them both in my life forever.
My Phone is Crowded

I just realized something when I use my phone or even in my pc. I like hiding shortcut icons on my homescreen or desktop. Why? Maybe because I just wanted to see my wallpaper in full image and I want it to be as clean as possible, for my eyes at least.
I noticed that I've been getting notifications on my phone to clear my phone's memory or removing dump files. It suggests to remove or uninstall not frequently used apps.
Even if I don't use it that often, me and my husband needs it. I am his personal assistant or secretary after all hahaha!
Anyway, I am going to share a few applications that I have on my phone but let me share how my phone homescreen looks like.
I only have 3 pages on my homescreen. I prefer having an app drawer so I can see all the apps installed on my phone. I turned off the setting to create an icon on the homescreen for any apps that I will install. It's makalat tignan hihihi.
Oh by the way, if you have or know other apps don't hesitate to recommend it to me. I am a bored mom and I need to entertain myself while breastfeeding lil B.
Messaging apps
Telegram - I installed this app because one of my bestfriends messenger account is also being spied by his girlfriend. We can only communicate with her using this app.
Discord - my husband and I used to videocall using discord when I was still pregnant. We can play COD or Mobile Legends and instead of using the voice chat on the specific game app, we use discord instead for the game to run smoothly.
Messenger - Most people must have this. If you have Facebook, you must have a messenger app too. For more convenient way to communicate to people.
Viber - I recently installed it on my phone because I forgot to install it when I got a new phone. I installed this again because when Lil B got sick, her pedia uses her viber account to do online consultations.
Gaming apps
I don't play COD anymore, the last time that I played was when I was still pregnant. No wonder Lil B gets to sleep when I watch action movies.
I recently saw a post from Noise.cash about Clash of Clans (COC) and I realized I can play that game again too. The last time I played it was around 2014? So it has been almost a decade HAHAHAHA!
The Pubg app here was just a default app. Maybe Xiaomi users can get a free gift on PUBG.
Streaming apps
I just installed Loklok to check if it's like BiliBili, but it looks like it.
I also have a one year subscription in Discovery+, they have a cheap one year offer and I got to watch documentaries or other entertaining shows.
Netflix is common, we are using my husband's account.
For HboGo, we are using my sister's account because she has a one month subscription. By the way for GOMO sim users, they already have entertainment or lifestyle offers. You can redeem an HboGo 1month subs for only 7GB. We get to watch the new *Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore*
And of course, Youtube even if it plays ads on most videos it is still a great video streaming platform.
Social media apps
I only have a few I don't browse on Fb or IG that much. Tiktok is time consuming too, but Lil B and I do dance Tiktoks hahaha. I have the same username, feel free to check us out!
Photo editing apps
I don't have time to edit photos but I use Canva to create my thumbnail here. Snapseeed for quick photo editing. Lightroom which I haven't used yet. My sister bought preset filters somewhere and I still haven't tried it using my phone, maybe soon if I have time hahaha!
Online banking
Gcash and Coinsph are my most used online e-wallets. I just installed Tonik and will explore it more. My sister suggested that app too.
Booking services app
I always use Angkas whenever I am in a hurry, I don't always feel comfortable riding taxis or cars because I have motion sickness. I prefer smelling, breathing and feeling the fresh air on my skin.
CebuPacific, AirAsia and Traveloka are the apps that I use whenenver I check flight fares. I compare which airlines has the cheapest airfare so that my husband can go home to us.
Online shopping
I only have a few. hahahahha! Yes just a few. I don't have a screenshot because the app's icons where locked from homescreen.

I hope the Puregold release it's self-checkout option soon.
crypto earning apps
Pi was the first crypto mining App that I used, however, it doesn't have monetary values yet. All Pioneers are still waiting for it since we've been mining for over a year now.
Then I got to join Noise.cash and @Read.Cash and the most probably used app on my phone.
I joined Appics too however, I don't go out that much and I don't have a lot of pictures to share at this moment. I can only share pictures of Lil B hahahah. I am hoping to engage more on that platform too.
Did you notice the Merge Cats and Crypto Dragons? I just installed it hahahah! Don't judge me please. Let me know if I am just wasting my time on both apps so I can uninstall them HAHAHAHA! I am just trying it out. I was just trying to explore other Crypto token hihi. What can you say?

Ay since it's Friday today, tagalog muna tayo ulit. Alam kong may iba sa inyo na gumagaan ang feeling kapag nakakabasa ng tagalog kaya every Friday magtatagalog ako. HAHAHAHHA!
Bakit ako nagtatampo kay Shopee? Kasi may bagong pautot na naman sya at di sya nakakatuwa. Bakit? Kasi usapang additional fees na naman to.
Uunahan ko na kayo, alam kong hindi dapat sisihin si Shopee pero masakit pa dn 💔💔. Halfway na tayo ng 2022 at halos nagiging normal na ulit ang lahat, pero andaming changes dn sa Shopee app.

Nakakatuwa na walang charge yung pagtransfer ng money from ShopeePay to Gcash or Paymaya. Kaya kung may extrang laman yung Shopeepay nyo, pwede nyo na ilagay sa Gcash at real time naman sya nattransfer.

Ayun na nga mga bes! Naloka ako nung nakita ko sa isang FB group na sinalihan ko. May nagshare doon na nung nagtry sya magCash-in sa ShoppePay thru Gcash, nagkaroon na ng admin fee. Kalokaaaa!
So heto ako ngayon magsshare ng konting detalye na nakita ko regarding this. Inexplore ko ang ibang Cash-In options sa ShopeePay na pwede kong itry at ito ang aking napagalaman.

Pero tinignan ko sa Gcash if by sending other banks using the app to ShopeePay ay as usual may 15 pesos na service charge pa din. So I don't know if iba pa ba yun sa E-wallet fee na tinatawag nila.
For the meantime, gagamitin ko na lang muna ngayon ang Gcash card ko to Cash-in sa ShopeePay.
Bakit prefer ko ang ShopeePay as mode of payment sa orders ko? Kasi mas marami akong pwedeng makuhang free shipping vouchers.

How are y'all doing? Another month passed and here we are in the middle of 2022 and things are slightly going back to normal.
I know some users who also took a break from the platform last month. I also did because Lil B was sick and at the same time I also needed a little break so that I won't be too burned out from what happened last month.
Oh what did we have for the month of May?
Let me share a few things by dumping some photos from my phone's gallery. To be honest, we were quite busy because it was Lil B's birth month and christening so that explains it all. But check out other stuff that happened to us last month.
**May 1**
I am now trying to do something about my weight. As you may know, I had a slim body before I gave birth. Gaining weight wasn't a big deal to me. It's been my dream to gain weight but gaining weight drastically was a different thing. I've been used to having a light weight body that I can jump, run or do anything without worrying about something. But now, I've gained 10kgs more after I gave birth. I don't mind having this type of body to be honest but my issue is, my back pains are getting worse and worse because I wasn't used to carrying such weight, plus having a mild scoliosis makes the pain worse. I don't take pain relievers because the one that works on me was already strong enough and I only take it when I can't fall asleep due to the pain.
Anyway, last month I've decided to do something about it. Good thing that I found my sister's weighed hoola hoop. It was 1kg I think and deym, 5mins was already enough for me to catch my breath. Doing Hoola hoop is also a convenient way to exercise for me so I can watch Lil B while she eats her breakfast at the same time.
I had to some for some days in between for other things.
May 2
Yes, she walked! She's been walking one step by one step before but this was her first 3 step walk on a solid ground. I'm not getting ready to run after her soon. 🤣🤣🤣
May 6
My sister's in-laws invited us to join to their celebration. It was in a resort in Pansol, Laguna where she had her first hot spring swim.
May 9
Election day. My family took turns when we voted, we are under the same precinct. The election in our city went well, it was organized all we need to worry is how long should we fall in line. As far as I can remember it took us 3 hours.
May 10
This was the night when my bestfriend had a surprise visit. She promised me that she will come to Lil B's christening on the 14th but due to her work, she needed to go out of town on that day. She decided to drop by to our house and gave her gift to her inaaanak.
It was funny because as soon as I took glance from our door and saw a woman standing outside, I knew she couldn't come. While I am opening the gate to let her in, she said 'tol may kasalanan ako'.
May 14
Lil B's Christening and early birthday celebration. My husband and I decided to celebrate her birthday a few days earlier than her birthday. Originally, we planned to celebrate her birthday and have her baptized at the same time but her birthday falls on a Weekday (Tuesday) and I thought the godparents might not be available that day. We adjusted the celebration instead and celebrated her birthday on a weekend.
One of the ninangs celebrated her birthday too. Right after we ate from our house, we went to Bulacan after and rented a private resort so we can celebrate her birthday and for the kids to enjoy their summer too.
May 17
We still celebrated her birthday on that specific day because it's her first birthday! We just had a small celebration instead and dressed her up as Hanabi from Mobile Legends, my main hero hihihi.
May 18
We decided to cut her hair instead of shaving it, we do not follow the tradition of shaving the baby's hair once they turn one. Now she looked like a little Korena hahaha!
May 20
This was the day when I took her to the hospital for laboratory tests. The night after we cut her hair, she had a fever. I thought that maybe it was just because of teething or just a lagnat laki as what they say. However her fever was on and off for 2 days and on this day, we decided to consult her pedia and she requested for a stool test and cbc platelet count. She was pretty strong enough not to cry that moment the nurse pinched her finger to get blood sample.
I will post a separate blog about what happened and on that week I took time off on @Read.Cash so I can monitor her and give her meds on time.
May 25
The weather in the Philippines is all f***ckd up. It's summer hot and sometimes it rains for just a few minutes then gets hotter. That's why I decided to cut, uhm shave my hair. Since my hair is too long for my convenience, I wanted to cut it short to avoid hairfall but my husband likes long hair. I can compromise and meet half way. I decided to do an undercut and shaved my hair. Hair reveal soon once I fixed it hahahaha!
Final photodump
This is how Lil B sleeps now since she got sick. She's more comfortable lying on top of me. Sometimes she wakes up and still make me a pillow as she sleeps again.
This was also the reason I've been lacking time to finish an article lately because she wakes up once I put her on the bed alone. Just like what @Momentswithmatti said to enjoy moments like this while she's young. Our kids will not be forever kids and soon enough she won't like being hugged or kissed by her parents huhu.
I will still try to post everyday this month. Well obviously, I didn't meet my goal on this platform but I met my goal for Lil B to get better.

No Care, Skin Care

We should be taking care of our skin, yes? Taking care of our skin is a part of taking care of ourselves. Boys, girls, men and women at least should. Skin care is not gender specific, I say it's skin type specific. HAHAHHA!
*DISCLAIMER: each specific product doesn't work for everyone. Keep in mind that we have different types of skin and we are living in different areas or weather so it may also affect your skin. It's still best to consult a dermatologist for any recommendation.*
As for me, I don't have money to consult to a dermatologist. We can't deny that we some of us don't have the privilege to visit one that's why most of us result to trying out different types of product.
Skin type
I have very oily skin and huge or big open pores from the T-zone to every spot on my face.
But when I got pregnant my skin type changed. Yes because I had a little human being inside of me. My hormones changed. From oily skin to not so oily skin. During my first trimester, I was breaking out but after that my friends told me that my skin got better.
All good things must come to an end.
My oily type skin got back a few months after I gave birth. I was kind of hoping that I will have that skin forever but unfortunately I can't and probably won't unless I got pregnant again.
Cutting it to the chase, I will share some products that I am currently using and of course works on me. Perhaps I will make a separate article for the products that I've tried and didn't work for me.
Routine
10 step skin care routine? I'm sorry, I don't follow that 10 step skin care routine because I am too lazy for that. I can't or don't want to spend a long time washing or putting anything on my skin before going to sleep. I just simply want to , wash my face and sleep.
Basically, I only have a 2 to 3 step routine:
**cleanse** - This is the most important thing. Whenever or what you do, you must cleanse your face.
**moisturize** - I say, moisturize or hydrate maybe depending on your skin
**protect** - sunscreen, I've realized that this is truly affects your skin too.
Now, going back to the products that I've been using. Let me share a few that we have in our home. Take note, that some products were just extra stocks given to us by our sister or just the everyday products that I will use probably for a lifetime.
Keep in mind that most of the time I use somehow strong products because that's what works for me.
Cleanse
Here are the products that I've tried and using as a facial cleanser:
Aztec Soap - This is available in Puregold too. My sister brought this home as she's not using it. I really love this soap and this work for me. If you have dry skin, I don't recommend this because this may make your skin dry more.
Papaya soap - Kojic soap is the common papaya soap we have nowadays. There are other brands too. I also purchased the foaming pump bottle from Shopee. I diluted the papaya soap using hotwater and then there, used it as a facial cleanser.
Fresh Formula cleanser - This is Ate's facial cleanser, she sometime purchases from sales so that she can have extra stock and she gives one to our younger sister. I don't use this too often because I feel it's still too madulas after I rinsed it on my face. I wanted to have a squeaky clean face if you know what I mean, like the sound from Joy dishwashing liquid hihi.
Safeguard soap - Well this is my ultimate go-to soap. This one works for me better than other brands of facial cleansers. I don't know why, maybe because it kills 99.9% germs char!
Moisturizer
V&M Naturals CPC+G oil - This is my go-to moisturizer/serum or whatever part of that skin care routine it is. I just love this product one to two drops is already good to spread on your face.
Nipple cream - This is just the extra cream that I bought when lil B was just a new born. Since it's organic and helps to heal nip's scratches, I thought perhaps I can use it on my face. Surprisingly, it does it's job too!
Toner
Fresh Formula Toner - This is actually my younger sister's stash. I tried it too, it wasn't that strong and works on my skin too. I stopped using it because I can't afford to buy a set which costs 20 dollars or around 1000 pesos.
Sunscreen
Innisfree
Other products
Jeju Aloe Ice- I also stopped using this. It felt malagkit on my face and I don't like that feeling before I go to sleep.

I have tried using a rejuvenating set when I was still single. It was nice to see that your face is peeling off its curses from your face but it made my skin more sensitive. Everytime I stop using it I break out so I have to stop totally using it.
Sometimes I feel too exhausted to take care of my face that I would rather sleep.
My best products to use
That would be safeguard/aztec soap, CPC+G oil and Innisfree sunscreen. Once the innis free sunscreen runs out I don't have anything else to use. Huhu

Baby Cosplay: Hanabibi turned 1

I know that some people here have seen or some of my articles regarding Lil B's milestone celebration every month. This month was actually her birth month and we didn't plan anything grand for her birthday. Well maybe just enough for us to celebrate her lovely first birthday.

By the way, me and my husband started dressing her up as different characters since she was 4months old. We didn't actually plan to let her do cosplays nor spend or prepare costumes for her every month. Until my husband saw a Nezuko outfit/costume on Shopee. He was browsing Shopee because he's looking for anything that we can purchase for him to bring it back to the province.
On her third month I asked my sister to make a crochet police outfit so I don't have to buy another dress that she would only wear once. Well she did it for free and as a gift for Lil B.
My husband and I watches anime, plays a bit of computer and mobile games too. He asked me if we can buy the Nezuko outfit and use it on her next monthsary celebration. I told him that it was expensive but he still wants to buy it. Then I looked for other stores who sells the same item but for a cheaper price. Yes! I did find one.
When his 4th month came and when we dressed her up, my husband was very happy as he also wanted to dress up as Nezuko's brother, Tanjiro. It would be a great father and daughter moment.
Anyway, we decided to continue dressing her up as a character every month. My husband was very excited as he also thinks about what character should we do next. That way he can still be a part of the preparation, at the same time my in-laws can also see how cute she is wearing costumes.
Now, it's time for her final cosplay as she turns 1.
Some of you may know the character Hanabi from Mobile Legends. Hanabi the main hero that I use when I play as marksman. To be honest, I only used a few heroes because I don't have quick hands and I have a weakness when it comes to directions due to my sweaty hands. Just to give you an idea here's how she looks like in different skins (Skins are like different attires that the a hero has, some needs to be purchased or some skins can be acquired for free).
I purchased the Venom skin (top right picture) when I still have a job and got started playing Mobile Legends around 2018. I asked my mother if she can make a costume and showed her the Venom skin outfit. Unfortunately, it's more complicated to sew and she might not have scrap cloth available of the same color. I showed her the default skin instead (red and black). She agreed but as Lil B's birthday gets a few days away, she asked me to show the costume again but she mentioned to use a different color because she doesn't like Lil B to wear black for her birthday (another myth from the oldies). I somehow got pissed because I already showed it to her a month before now she's telling me that she doesn't want the color. We were excited because we've been waiting for her to dress up as Hanabi. I don't know if we will continue dressing her up, maybe on her next birthday HAHAHAH!
We didn't need to buy a costume, special thanks to Naynay (lola) as she always wanted to make costume or dresses for us or her grandkids. This is her gift to Lil B.
Simple celebration
We just had a simple celebration on her birthday. My mother invited her sister and some of our relatives from her family side that we don't get to see that often.
It was nice to see them too as it has been a while.
My husband wasn't with us on that day because he went back to the province a few days before. We also celebrated her birthday together with her christening so daddy can be here at the same time.
Instead of buying 2 cakes in 3 days apart, I asked the seller of we can make a 2 themed cake instead. She thought that it will be for 2 celebrants as she asked what names will be for each side. I told her that it will be for one celebrant and she can put it in the middle instead.
We reserved the left side for celebration on the date itself.
The cake costs 1600 as it was just simple and has icing frosting, we don't like fondant hehehehe.

It was a nice celebration but could've been better if daddy was with us. Well, Lil B still have a lot more birthdays to come and we will make it up to her.

To Bangs or Not To Bangs?

This is one of the topics stuck in my drafts since February. For some reason, I didn't get to finish this so I think I need to start all over again.
It's summer time and the heat is on! For the longest time AGAIN, I haven't cut my hair. The last time was before I gave birth. Here's how short my hair is when I gave birth.
Months passed, my hair grew, stress and taking care of Lil B got me not taking care of myself. Around February, I wanted a change. Like what I usually do, I cut my hair to change my vibes or cut off bad jujus for the past days, weeks or months. Being a stay at home mom, I somehow can't find time to cut my hair. I thought maybe getting bangs will do but obviously I didn't do it. Why? Even if I wanted to have my me time while taking a bath, spending 30mins or an hour in the shower made me feel like I am asking too much favor from my sister or my parents to look after Lil B. So yeah, I still didn't cut my hair. Yes, bangs maybe bangs but I spend much time when I cut my hair. Not because I want it to be perfect but more like I end up cutting or trimming my hair too. I ended up not doing anything on my hair.
Weeks, months passed, February to May and I still haven't done anything to my hair. It grew longer and more hair falling out and I am feeling more hotter than ever! (I mean the weather is getting hotter lels!) Until I forgot about it.
I always prefer having bangs/fringes so I van cover up my forehead hahaha! Let me share some pictures

Myth or not a myth?
Now Lil B turned one and we Filipinos have myth that we should shave the baby's hair when they turn 1y/o. I don't know why but as far as I can remember they say that the hair can grow longer or better once it grows back.
Correct me if I'm wrong or tell me more about that myth hahahahhaa!
In our family, we didn't follow that tradition or myth but my mother always keep the first hair that she cut off when we were still babies. She didn't shave our hair though but again, I don't know why she does it hahaha!
We didn't even follow it. But we decided to get Lil b's first hair cut since she's already 1 and it's getting hotter in the Ph!!! She looks like a solar girl when she sweats. Unfortunately, she's sweaty like her mother UGH!
Now I get to cut her hair.
Who's ready for the finished product?
Since she was moving too much, I needed my mother's help. She was actually doing something but when she saw me cutting Lil B's hair she helped me finish it.
Mother used to have a salon or worked in a salon when we were kids so the only hands my hair knows is hers. It's either her or me who cuts my hair. I've been only to a salon less than 5 times and the only salon that I like is T & J. Their haircut is a bit pricy, around 300 pesos if I'm mistaken but you get a good service and result. They don't rush cutting people's hair that may result in bad trim or magtatampo yung buhok after. It's also where I had my first undercut hairstyle.

Hindi naman siguro lahat necessary, pero I think it depends kung ano napagdaanan nya and gaano sya ka-open or ka komportable ishare yun sayo. May ibang tao kasi na mas gusto na lang sarilinin at wag na ishare kasi babalik yung mga hindi magagandang memories, masasaktan or traumatic pa din.

Haaay, I got used to it not in the sense na wala na akong magagawa or this will make me fall out of love.
LDR kami since naging kami hanggang nagkaanak na kami, tanggap ko naman kasi dito kami kumukuha ng isusuporta sa anak namin. Kelangan lang namin magadjust ng konti soon kasi ayaw kong malayo kami sa kanya.
It's more like it's about not how I feel, but how Lil B feels. I noticed for the past few months na umuuwi ang asawa ko happy si Lil B. Tapos when he leaves again for work, parang nagiging iyakin si Lil B lalo.

Both. I believe na magkasama dapat yan. Sharing and sacrificing, parehas yan na form of caring pero dapat balanse. Hindi man equal pero dapat narereciprocate pa dn kahit sa anong paraan.

Naniniwala kasi ako na minsan kelangan mo makakita ng willing sumabay sa trip ng buhay mo. Yung tipo na kahit ano pang personality mo or ugali mo eh makakasabay at maiintindihan nya. Yung standards ng ibang tao eh iba iba. Minsan hindi angkop sa iba ang angkop sa lahat. Hulihin ang kiliti ng bawat isa at huwag ipilit ang mga bagay na hindi naman kaya ng tao.

Hey! Another week came in and I just want to share how full my heart is, or should I say how full Lil B's heart is.
`This article supposed to be posted 10 days ago, when my husband was home.`
Lil B still might not be able to talk but she is already very responsive and imitates things that she sees. She's already becoming more expressive on what she likes.
Sometimes I wish that she can already walk and talk so I can understand her more. HAAHHAHAH what am I talking about?!?!? she's just a baby! I know, I know, or maybe I am just too excited on her development as she grows up.
Anyway, I was out for a few days. Did you notice? I may not be as famous and interactive as the others but I am looking forward to back on track here @Read.Cash I know you didn't forget me. HAHAHAHA. I can't deny that I missed visiting this platform. Do I have to worry about my tips? Hmmm, kind of but I know that I will soon be blessed. HELP! Char!
My husband went home after a one long month. The fam is a bam!
It was just a few days stay because he needs to go back to work again. We were kind of hoping that he could stay longer but well, not everything is in our favor so we will have to make the most of it. Don't worry I'll share what happened. Like what I've mentioned in my other articles, I am trying to document anything related to Lil B. My memory isn't getting any sharper that's why.
My husband was home for 4 days.
All I can say is that my heart is very full. Seeing him in person again made me very relaxed, I know Lil B did too.
It was an important stay because we also set her Baptism and 1st birthday celebration. Good thing I managed to prepare almost everything before he got home and we will only need to buy or do a few things together for the event.
Look what my husband bought her and did to her. HHAHAHA.
I actually asked him to bring pasalubong like a little toy (happy meal or jolly meal toy) or any toy that has big eyes before he gets home. I when he got home he bought her a musical tv box. Lil B loves it or should I say, she loves to step on it hahahha! Kidding aside, she loves it and dances to the tune, swaying side to side. I also find it funny as he also bought another toy for a 3+ mos old. I know that he didn't get to see, touch and hold her too long when Lil B was still a new born maybe that's why but said that I told him to buy anything with big eyes that's why he bought it.
The next day, we decided to do a little morning walk in the park and went to the mall nearby to buy a few things that my husband needs. We also dropped by for a little fam bam pamper time in a nail spa because I've been telling my husband to go somewhere and have his ingrown nail removed. He's been in pain for a few months already but he won't listen to me and still insist on he can still grow back as it was buy shaping it his way.
Anyway, we needed an original Xiaomi charger for his phone. Unfortunately, there's only a Xiaomi kiosk in the mall nearby so we decided to go to SM store to buy one. It was a very hot day too so spending the afternoon in the mall got us relieved from the heat.
When we got home, my husand and lil B had a little alone time while I prepare our living room for our guests the next day for her baptism.
How quick the time flies! It was like yesterday when we can barely carry Lil B and we were very careful because she was just a little bee!!! Now, we have a little toddler that's about to walk and talk and talk back. char!
I'll post what happened on her baptism and birthday celebration before this month ends.

Our first pet was named Tootsie. Maybe because Tootsie Guevarra was a hit back then or it was from a commercial that we used to sing when we were kids.
Tootsie was our first ever dog and he was also kind of the reason that I loved dogs. One day, my father got home from a drinking session with his friends and going home he picked up a stray dog along the way. I don't really know what got into him but Tootsie was a very aggressive dog when we got him. It turned out that he was just aggressive because he had a new environment and he maybe used to being caged. That's why we never cage our dogs, good thing that they still have at least a space to run in our house. If we have visitors who are scared of dogs, we put the dogs in our dirty kitchen or in my mother's tahian area.
I wish that we have a digital camera back then so we can take a lot of pictures. I can still remember that he died on a December 23, I don't want to remember the year because I would count how long he's been gone. He was a good, clever and protective dog. We think that he has a Labrador blood too that's why.

Some of use love online shopping right?Sometimes we run out of money or we needed to buy something for an emergency but we don't have money. I know that budgeting is crucial especially for families who are just trying to make ends meet everyday, every week or every month. If all else fails, we tend to borrow money from someone close or a family member and pay them back once we can.
How about we have no one to turn to or borrow money from? That's where cash loans comes in.
Personally, I don't want to engage in any loan activities because I know that I am not able to pay it back on time and I will not have enough money to spend for my every day expenses.

Anyway, I just want to share a notification I received from Shopee a few days ago.
I was shocked that Shopee has this feature now. (Lakas na naman makabudol ano)
To think that they already have an SpayLater payment option where in you can pay for your order in a form of loan from Shopee. Like any other loan offers, SPayLater has interest too.
I can't deny that sometimes I also use SPayLater payment option IF AND ONLY IF, my husband is busy to send money and I needed to purchase something that I needed sooner. Take note that only use this option if the amount just around 500 pesos or less. The higher the amount, the more interest of course that's why I limit using SPayLater.
Why give me an SLoan option?
I think I've mentioned in my other articles that ShopeePay can already already be used in other stores like Puregold as one form of payment. It was just great to see this option because some of us cash in Shopeepay and end up spending a little bit less than what we expected. So there's a little change or a little amount stuck in our ShopeePay that we can use on our next Shopee purchase. Plus other banks or mode of online payment in Shopee may have a charge when you cash in.
By the way, I have a limit of 27,000 pesos on SPayLater. It started off as 7,000 pesos as far as I can remember and I think that I have a good credit and payment details, they increased it over time. Perhaps having a somehow good credit Shopee entitled some users for SLoan.

**Verified my ID** - the info was already saved maybe because the same it was the same info I used when I activated my ShopeePay
**Complete the additional information needed** - some information here are already saved based on my account so I only needed fill out the employment, level of education and monthly income range
**Facial Verification** - just like any other bank or cash loan apps do. This is the last step.
**Wait for the approval and activation. -** mine was approved and activated after 2 days from submitting the request.
I have to resubmit or redo the activation a few times because it got rejected. For some reason I don't know. Maybe because I put UMEMPLOYED or because of the facial recognition scan, lighting must be crucial hahaha. I took the facial recognition when I was lying down and while the lights are off in our room, so it could be it.
As far as I can remember, I submitted it 2 times before it got activated and as you can see I have a credit limit of 10,000 pesos.
I still don't intend to use it unless for emergency purposes because aside that you can use it to pay in other stores, it's a cash loan where in you can withdraw the funds and send it to your e-wallet or bank account for an actual cash.

Yes, my eyes went from this 😶 to this 😱. Take note that the interest rate will be charged per month, same goes with the loan fee protection. WHEW! Seeing that made me realized that I shouldn't have activated it. Char! But again I will only use this for back up SUPER DUPER EMERGENCY purposes only.

Hahahaha! Who else haven't? Well, good for you! Just make sure that if you will pee in the pool, the water doesn't have to turn blue or green as an indication that someone peed. I am not sure if we have resorts or pools here in the Philippines who has that.

It's like I can get half points for this one. I haven't been in a fist fight where in the other party fights back. Maybe when my sisters and I were still kids but most of the time we just pulled each other's hair when we fight.
I had an instance were I punched one of my ex-boyfriends for being a such a jealous guy. Just because I wasn't laughing at his joke.

31st SEA Games friends! Feeling ko kelangan ko lang magpost about this hahaha. Hindi man ako super fan ng ibang sports pero knowing that the world is already recognizing other computer/mobile games as a sport, E-sport nga kung tawagin. I just need to share this kasi PH got the Gold for MLBB! YEY!!!
Tinignan ko kung kelan nagstart magkaroon ng e-sports sa SEA Games and it was around 2019. I think they featured E-sports during 2018 for a trial run or demo something like that and the following year, they included it na din sa sports.
I know that to some parents or people think na hindi naman talaga sports yung computer or mobile games. Pero if iisipin mo, yung ibang larong kalye is somehow considered din as sport. Tulad ng sipa/Sepak Takraw at patintero.

Naalala ko kung highschool ako, sa PE class namin syempre pinagaralan or nilaro namin yung mga local/traditional games. Nagulat kami dahil tinuro samin na isang legit na sport yung patintero. Natuto kami kung pano ang scoring system at mejo iba sya sa nakagisnan nating laro.

Other people play for fun at yung iba they play just because they can and they're good at it.
E-sports
Nageevolve talaga ang mga bagay through time. Dati nga puro physical games lang ang magagawa dahil hindi pa gaano high tech ang world. Pero ngayon, people or kids who are physically challenged or doesn't have the confidence (or for whatever personal reasons they can't play) to play sports, eh malalaro na din nila sa loob ng bahay. Yes, sa help ng mga gaming consoles and computers.
Sa panahon ngayon di natin maikakaila na maraming tao ang naglalaro na lang sa loob ng bahay. Kasi siguro dun sila komportable, minsan mas gusto pa ng ibang tao na hindi nila kakilala yung mga kalaro or mga taga ibang bansa kesa sa kapwa pinoy.
Pero ayun na nga, buti nalang nasama din sa SEA Games ang mangilan ngilan na E-sports.

Well well well! Congrats mga katoxic charot! Lagi kasing sinasasabi ng asawa ko na ang toxic ng pinoy community sa ML compared sa mga taga ibang bansa. Kaya ako hindi ako masyadong nakikipagengage sa chats sa ML lalo na sa mga trashtalkers na tumitiklop naman kapag mas mataas ang performance ko sa game.
Anyway.. The other day, nagulat na lang ako pagkabukas ko ng Tiktok ko. Tagal ko din kasi di nakapagtiktok. Tapos pagkascroll ko nakita ko yung live stream ng MLBB sa SEA Games. Nashock ako syempre, I was about to scroll up but then nakita ko si OhMyVenus and Wise na kasama sa line-up. Pagkacheck ko OMG!! Blacklist International pala ang team na nagrepresent satin!
Si OhMyVenus ang Captain ng team. Galing din nitong vaklang twooooo eh! Mapapabilib ka din sa lakas magsupport nitong taong to. Sya ang shots caller ng team, ultimate support queen! Sya talaga dahilan kung bakit ko sinubaybayan yung SEA Games.
Mejo di ko napanuod yung first game. Nakita ko na lang na 2-0 yung first match tapos 2-0 din for 2nd match. Sadly, habang naghihintay ako ng 3rd match nila nakatulog ako huhu, pero panalo pa din sila hanggang semi-finals.
So yesterday morning, finals na. Sila ang unang salang at 10am. Bukas ako agad ng tv at pinanuod yung live stream. Hahahahha, sorry Lil B bukas ka na magwatch kay Ms. Rachel hahhahah!
Di ko man nasimulan pero naabutan ko naman yung first game. Sa finals, they were against Singapore. Nakakatuwa lang na halos lahat ng heroes na gamit ni OhMyVenus eh binaban ng kalaban, lalo na si Estes.
Mejo intense ang finals, as in. Pero malakas kumapit si OhMyVenus at bilib din ako sa pasensya ng Ph. Waiting for the right timing ang peg talaga.
Pero mas nakakatawa yung pati si Dogie shinout out nila nung nanalo sila. Why? May binitawang salita kasi si Dogie na sure daw sya mga 90% na di daw mananalo or magcchampion ang BLCK sa Seagames. Pero Pinasalamatan pa din ng team si Dogie sa 10% na tiwala hahahahhaa.

She Loves Water

Hey it's May! Let's hit the heat. We may be thinking of a quick summer getaway to ease the heat. Did you go to a beach? Resort? Went camping? Hmmmm.
What we can say to our tropical country. Now it's hot and then the next thing we know, typhoons are going in and out. Anyway, did you go anywhere to flaunt your summer bods?
Holy week getaway
We usually spend our Holy Week in Bicol. As I've mentioned on my previous article, we have a family tradition that we take our Mother Dolorosa for a procession.
Oh take note my family is a bit religious, I on the other hand, am not. That's a different topic to talk about, besides I don't want to offend anyone here. I am not going to elaborate other details because I don't want to disrespect the religion if I don't tell it accurately.
Well going back. We usually stay in Bicol for a week. The procession for Good Friday is what we call '*Soledad'.* Before we go home to Manila, we can go for a quick tour, swim or whatever we can do so that we can enjoy our stay there. Getting the most out of our stay.
I still remember when we were kids, we used to go to a falls or batis? they call '*Kay saray'* . I am not mistaken, the last time that we went there was when our youngest sister was still a year old. So that's 2 decades already. The batis was great, water was cold and we had fun playing and swimming there.
I don't know if we still have pictures there but I remember that when my aunt have the pictures developed. (No digital cameras back then, analog cameras only with film that needs to be developed by a photo studio) There were pairs of eyes and shapes of white eyes scattered in the picture. Since then, we didn't go back there. Still a fun memory though.
Quick swimming last weekend
We don't usually go anywhere during summer because we simply don't have the money. If any of our relatives invites us, then we can come.
Last week, my sister's mother-in-law, we call *Mamshi,* celebrated her birthday. They invited us to join them as they rented private pool in Pansol, Laguna. Well 2 years of not going anywhere during summer definitely made them miss going out. Of course my Lil B was with us too.
Pansol, Laguna is known for its hot springs. Oh boy, it was pretty hot! When we got there, the owner was still preparing to fill in the pool with water. There's also a jacuzzi and the owner told us to wait before going in the pool because the water is still too hot. Deym! It was really hot.
Anyway we waited, ate dinner first and then prepared ourselves for swimming. My sister gave me my niece's old swimming suit for Lil B.
Isn't she a cutie!
Oh I also bought a salbabida for her and my sister bought 2 salbabidas too.
It was an overnight stay so we got to enjoy the hot springs.
By the way, I know that Lil B somehow likes water. When she was a newborn up to 3 months old, I noticed that when I pour water on her body she didn't even cry. She likes to touch it and looks like she's fascinated with water. Around 6 or 7 months she can already sit and I would fill up her bathtub with water, which she likes to play with. Splash! Splash! Around 10 months, I try to lessen putting in hot water from her bath and train her to for a cold or just plain tap water (during day time). If the water is too cold, she would just take a deep breath and smile or laugh. It was new to her senses too but definitely she liked it.
Now that she's almost a year old, she liked playing with shower or splashes of water. I think being in a pool made her happy too. Good thing that it was a hot spring that she didn't catch a cold after.
We slept around 12midnight-ish or earlier, then the next day we woke up around 8am, took our breakfast and went back swimming again. She didn't mind being in the water for too long.

After being in the water for a few hours, she took her morning nap. She got tired of playing too. She fell asleep dede-ing and when I felt my chest aching, I asked my father to take out the unicorn salbabida from the pool so I can lay her there.
The boss is so comfy!
When she woke up, we went back swimming again hahahaha! I borrowed the life vest that my sister bought for my niece but she doesn't like wearing it. I tried it on Lil B, it was a little too big for her so I need to make adjustment so she can enjoy it, because I know that she likes water and I want her to try floating hihi.
Oh wait her cheeks, don't judge me. She also likes her cheeks pinched.
I was just carrying her on my shoulder.
Here's another one.
She doesn't seem irritated unless her position is not okay with her. She really liked it. We were like this for an hour I think. (Let me remind you that the water was warm because it's a hot spring).
She was also kind of sleepy that time and almost put her to sleep. Hahahaha!
I told my husband that we might need to teach her how to swim or have swimming lessons. Are we going to have a swimmer? Hmmmmm.
Baby swimmers
Babies are natural swimmers because they stayed in water for 9 months. There were also videos of some babies being thrown in the pool because they already know how to swim.

Let's Be Safe and Sound - pt1

Learning how to drive is not my priority but it's a skill that I think I should learn.
My former boyfriend, now husband, asked me to get a driver's license. Let me share how I got mine.
Why? Because he always travel for work and he used to leave his car here in Manila. There were times that we will ask favor from someone who can drive or to pick him up from the airport and I want to avoid that. I don't feel comfortable asking a friend everything he comes home here to pick him up from the airport, that'll look like we have a driver.
Now, he actually brought back the car in the province cause he needs it for work too.
But let me share my attempt to learn how to drive.
Getting a student driver's permit
I already had one before the pandemic/lockdown happened. Literally just before it happened. My husband was here that time and we were still dating. He was with me when I got my first student driver's permit.
Did you see that date? It was also before LTO implemented new policies in applying for student driver's permit and driver's license. I thought, I was actually lucky that i was able to get one before they added a policy that applicants should take Theoretical Driving Course.
My husband started to teach me how to drive. We went to UP because we can go around there and not much public vehicles passing by.
I think it was also the same day when they announced that a lockdown will happen on March 15. He still left his car here in Manila and asked a friend to take care of it while the country's in lockdown.
After 6 months he got to go back in Manila again. He brought his car back in the office after he stayed here but of course, he still continued to teach me how to drive.
The hard part is you need to practice driving. It is a skill that needs muscle memory. I was just doing fine for a beginner, well since I also play car racing games like Need for Speed which kind of helped too. I just need to be familiar with the controls, space management on the road and parking.
Well after he stayed here and went back to the province, we found out that I was pregnant a month later. I wanted to driving lessons while I was pregnant too however, due to the restrictions, no driving school were open that time. When the restrictions were loosened, they still didn't allow me to enroll in driving school because I am pregnant. Plus, I can't go to LTO because I was one of the people restricted to a gov't office due to COVID. I was trying to get a driver's license before my student permit expires.
We actually found a driving school which can allow me to do my Practical Driving lesson but I will need to go to Valenzuela to take the exam. Uhm, I can't that time because I was pregnant hahahha! So yeah, I let my student permit expire.
Re-newed my student driver's permit
Since my first student permit expired on March 2021, I will need to go get another one but they have already implemented a different process and requirements.
Here are the requirements and how:
You must be at least 16 y/o and above.
You will need to submit an application form (which can be downloaded online)
Submit an original and
photocopy of PSA birth certificate; marriage contract for married women.
Present and submit a photocopy of one valid ID with photo and signature.
Theoretical Driving Course certificate.
Medical cert from an accredited clinic
**Theoretical Driving Course TDC**
I took my Theoretical Driving Course from one of the driving schools who offers the the lowest rate. That time it was the lowest rate that I can could find and they are one of the few driving schools who has an online or self-paced learning.
I enrolled in the self-paced module because I can't afford to go out of the house for a long time. 2hours is my maximum time for me to at least go out. Padede mom problems.
It was a 15hour course that you will need to attend for at least a week or 3 days? However, I took a bit longer because there are quizzes at the end of every module. My husband also helped me answering my module while I nurse Lil B.
I took longer than the usual and finished it within less than a month but more than 2 weeks hehehehe.
Now my adventure to get my TDC certificate and medical certificate. I didn't have to pay for my medical certificate because it was already included in the package.
**Getting my Student Driver's Permit**
I went to LTO office twice for the trouble of my name but anyways, I was able to get one yesterday.
I needed to wait in line as usual. It didn't take me long to get my permit the first time. However, this time it took some time for some reason.
Let me also share how much we spent in acquiring a student driver's permit.
Theoretical Driving Course with medical cert - 1,850 pesos
Student driver's permit - 250 pesos
I was surprised to see that the fee was lowered to 250 pesos and they needed to take my picture. The permit simply looks like a driver's license but printed in bond paper HAHAHAHA! If you noticed on the picture above, it was 317 pesos.
Now I can start my driving lesson in Manual transmission. My husband asked me to take manual transmission driving because he can only drive an automatic transmission vehicle. Just in case that we needed to get a manual car if we rent or buy one in the future. Plus, manual transmission driving lessons are cheaper than automatic. Same goes if you buy one.
I have already enrolled in driving school and it costs 3300 pesos for M/T driving. It is an 8hr driving lessons and 2hrs per session, that's for 4days which will start on June 1. There are no more slots for this month so I will take the soonest schedule available.
Then after a month I can already apply for a driver's license. Maybe I'll get my driver's license in Leyte because we will go there soon.
I'll share what happened on my practical driving course next month. I am not excited but more like I am concerned to leave Lil B for this. Oh I just realized that after I take my driving lessons I can go ahead and get a driver's license. Huehue P. U. P. , Pila Ulit Pila. Hahahahha!

Here's why...
friendship can be ruined after breaking up/you can lose a friend more if it's a bestfriend
people may hold grudge on a particular situation (trust/cheating issues) that may also affect your friendship
You may see each other differently.
You might notice an attitude that you didn't like as a boyfriend but you're cool with as a friend.
Well, that's just for me. In general, it still depends on each of your personality and how did you end up after being in a relationship.
Based on my experience, I am still friends with SOME of my exes. Oh only 2 of them hahaha! Friends in the sense that we still do connect from time to time with no issues. They have their own families now too. Ex-es who I think had character development after we've been in a relationship and I still wish that they can find someone who can take care of them or wish no harm to them.
Personally, I am a 'what you see is what you get' type of friend. So you if you gotta be my boyfriend, you can just **extra of** **me** as a friend. If we breakup with no heavy or damaging issues, there's a high chance that we can just laugh it of and still be friends. If we break up, you will just get a bestfriend in me but this time no extras for you. 😉
Would you rather have your partner meet your parents early or meet your parents late?
I'd rather have my partner meet my parents/friends early. Especially my friends, they are my quality checker but they won't tell me if I should continue dating that person or not. They simply would notice red flags and see if they my partner can get along with them.
Same goes with my parents, so they would at least who I am with if something happens to me hahaa.
However, this wasn't the case on my husband's side. I was able to introduce him to my parents but due to COVID, I didn't get the chance to meet his parents personally before we got married. But I hope that they will like me too. :)

This is a tough one. Laughter and happiness goes together. Do you agree?

To make someone laugh takes effort and would include our body to do so. Laughter is the best medicine right? It's true that laughter can make us happy, but if you dig deep more. Laughter can help you ease what ever you're going through for just a few minutes/hours, it's still good for our health.
However, one can still be happy without laughing. Like seeing someone special makes you happy. Having achievements makes you happy. Making other people laugh makes you happy too.
Well, that's just hard for me to explain but I know you get my point. hahha!

This is a tough question for me. I love hanging out with friends. In fact, I miss it. I miss long nights, stay overs and stupidity talks and discussions, fun night. I would love to spend an intimate date night with my husband too. We haven't been on a date since I got pregnant and gave birth.
Now that I am a mother, I have to change. I can't just hang out with my friends. I can't stay up late as there's a little person waiting for me.
I'd still love to have both hahahah char!

Friday na naman! Ang bilis nga naman ng panahon at ilang araw na lang magiisang taon na ang aming Lil B. Parang kailan lang, jumojowa jowa pa lang ako tapos landi landi ngayon may sarili na kong pamilya. At dahil jan, bakit hindi natin alalahanin ang mga masasakit na mga pangyayari sa mga nagdaan na relasyon.
Minsan kasi di mo din maiiwasan na magbalik ang alala. Hindi ibig sabihin nito na gusto kong makipagbalikan sa kahit sino sa kanila, pero more like gusto kong balikan yung mga natutunan ko at pagtawanan nadin yung mga nangyari. Yung tipo na kung dati iniiyakan mo yun, ngayon pagtatawanan mo na lang kasi nagawa or nasabi mo yon.
Wala naman masyadong masakit na nangyari pero naalala ko yung ibang mga nakakatawang banat ko kapag nagaaway kami ng mga naging jowa ko. Halo halo na to, kayo na magjudge if funny ba sya or hindi.

Syempre pagkatapos ko manggaling sa relationship na 'mejo' nagcheat sakin, kinuwestyon ko yung sarili ko sa ganung bagay. Ayun, sa sumunod na relasyon ko, mas naging mapusok at maexperimento ako. (Alam nyo na yon!). Nags*x kami pero di nya ko pinilit, nagkusa naman ako kasi curious nga din ako dibaaaaa.
Pero mukang di pa sya nakuntento. Isang araw, may prof kami na di pumasok at nakatambay lang kami sa room. Yung iba lumabas para magDOTA. Dota boy din sya pero ayaw ko sumama palabas ng school kasi maglalakad pa, sabi ko dun nalang ako sa room. Di na din sya sumama sa mga kaibigan nya magDOTA at sinamahan ako tumambay. Matutulog sana ako kasi antok pa ko at akala ko matutulog din sya sa room. Nagulat ako nung nakayuko na ko at nakapikit eh, hinawakan nya yung b**b ko. Hinawi ko kasi nga matutulog ako. Aba inulet, walk out ang lola mo! At ayun, sinigaw ko yan habang hinahabol nya ko palabas ng school.
May isa pang linya na sinabi ko lang sa isip ko.

HAHAHAHA! uy hindi to insulto sa ano nya ha. Infairness naman may kargada naman sya pero ang di ko lubos maisip eh nung unang beses namin ginawa yun eh wala akong naramdaman. Dito ko din napatunayan na hindi lahat ng first time sa ganon eh magical ang feeling.
Ay isa din pala to sa malandi. Nung pinakilala ko sya sa mga Highschool friends ko, ginawa nyang textmate yung isa. Ayun sinira nya din yung pagkakaibigan namin ng ilang buwan din or halos isang taon din, bago kami nag kabati ni beshiewap. Nagsorry din naman sya sken.

Dahil sa ito yung pinakamahaba kong relationship, di ko na matandaan yung ibang mga drama namin.
Dito ako nagstart magpakamartyr. Kahit na sinekreto nya ko, ipinaglaban ko na ako yung nauna kahit ako yung lumabas na kabit or nangagaw. Dahil sa kanya nagkalamat yung pagkakaibigan namin.
Ito yung masasabi kong pinakatoxic na relationship ko kasi, feeling ko nagbago ako sa hindi magandang paraan. Yung mga dating sinasabi ko na di ko gagawin as a jowa, biglang nagawa ko. Nagaaway sa gitna ng kalsada, nagpakamartyr, nagbulagbulagan, nagbigay ng ilang chances tapos sinayang, niloko na naman ako, kaya kapag nagyaya sya pumapayag na lang ako para di sya maghanap ng iba, at gumawa pa ko ng desisyon na hindi maganda para lang makawala sa relasyon na yon. Wala akong lakas ng loob makipaghiwalay. Feeling ko kasi binigay at nasakripisyo ko na lahat sa kanya, pamilya at kaibigan ko kaya feeling ko enough na yun para magstay sa kanya. Kinailangan ko kumausap ng ibang tao at nakapagcheat ako ng hindi ko intensyon, pero yung tao din na yun yung nagparealize saken na may iba pang taong magkakagusto sken. Almost 4 years kami ni Jowa S, pero isa lang naman yung ayaw ko sa kanya. Yung pagiging clingy nya, na kala mo naman ang ganda ng jowa nya para magkaroon or maghanap ng iba. Insecurity nya na yon sa totoo lang, di ko alam sa kanya.

Isang gabi hinatid nya ko pauwi, pagod sa trabaho tapos habang naglalakad kami nagalit sya kasi di daw ako masyado responsive sa usapan namin. Siguro dahil nasa bagong work pa lang ako nun tapos nagaadjust pa yung katawan ko sa schedule and work kaya lutang ako. Eh gusto pala nya magpalambing. Nagaaway kami habang naglalakad, tapos sa sobrang pikon ko sinabi ko yan. Natawa ako sa sinabi ko, pero kelangan kong panindigan na galit ako hahaha!
Di kasi maganda impression nya sa Call center agents kasi puro kabitan daw doon. Jusko naman, sa payat ko at hindi ako maganda parang naman pagkakaguluhan ako doon tska una sa lahat may jowa ako, jowa ko sya, bakit ako lalandi sa iba. Yun yung madalas naming pagawayan. Kelangan bawat utot ko at hininga sasabihin ko sa kanya. Pati pagpunta sa mga bespren ko na puro babae kelangan kasama sya lagi. Juzkoooo.
Buti nalang kaibigan ko bespren nya, kaya sinasabi ko na oy lumabas kayo ng hindi ako kasama utang naloob, kasi kelangan ko ng me time. yung me time ko na tulog day HAHHAHAHA.
Ayun lang muna. Hindi man kami nagkatuluyan ng mga taong yon, nagsilbing aral naman ang mga nangyare.

Hey! Here we go again and let's do a PhotoDump or a recap on what happened last month.
I don't feel like sharing my achievements or how much I got on noise.cash and read.cash because I didn't meet my goals hahaha! I am still thankful to this platform that I was able to earn at least. Better than nothing right?
Anyway look back on some of my April highlights. Oh how about let me try to check my photo gallery and check for sad and happy photos?

**April 2**
Yes, took a pregnancy test. Why? Because I was kind of panicking or it got me worried. I don't think I am ready yet to have another baby. To be honest, thinking about having another baby gives me anxiety. I still do have a lot of fears and worries since I gave birth. Maybe I am not prepared mentally prepared for another one. Of course I would be happy if got pregnant again, but what scares me is I will need further assistance in taking care of Lil B and the 2nd one. Not because I can't do it but because I know that I my emotions may burst out and I don't want to take it out on them. Yes, I know to myself that I may turn out like that, just like how my parents were to me. I don't want that to happen. I want to focus on Lil B as much as possible and have another child when me, my husband and Lil B are ready. Getting a negative result was a relief.
**April 4**
Happy birthday to mee! 31 and feeling young wild and free. Char! I wasn't able to celebrate it with my husband but I celebrated it with my family. Lil B got a gift from me as my birthday present to myself hhahaha!
**April 7**
I booked a church for Lil B's christening. Now it is just a few weeks away.
**April 9**
Lil B's first swimming! I was actually surprised that she loves water or maybe the feeling of waving water. She must miss the feeling of being inside my womb while I dance. hahahaha!
**April 12**
My parents bought flowers from Dangwa. They brought this to Bicol for the Holy Week's church procession that our family has been doing as a tradition. I missed going to Bicol too, we were supposed to come but I feel ike I can't bear the travel time because I have motion sickness and I don't know if I can afford to take care of lil B while I am not in a good condition even if there are people who can take care of her.
**April 13**

**April 15**
My parents were in Bicol. My sister and her husband went out for Visita Iglesia during the holy week and I noticed that our faucet was leaking. I have to temporarily repair it while I have my sister in Bicol videocall with Lil B as an online yaya. It was a very tiring day.
**April 20**
I got a new phone c/o my husband. I was supposed to buy one using my bestfriend's credit card so I can pay in installment and use my read.cash earnings but my husband wants to check if there are 2nd hand phones available with a great deal. Well we found this.
**April 22**
Another tiring day for me. First of all I am sad that my pants don't fit anymore! This was also the day when I went to PAGIBIG to pay our house mortgage, I don't want to blame my husband but it was still kind of his fault. I kept on reminding him but he failed to pay it online so I needed to pay directly to the office so it will be posted on time.
**April 24**
By the way, last month I began to cook meals for Lil B. She doesn't like boiled veggies anymore. She wants something new to her taste. I cooked a few dishes, baby friendly of course, and made these potato/tofu nuggets.
**April 25**
I decided to have her potty trained and this was the first time that she sat on the potty. Didn't poop or pee yet, but she can sit on it already. The next day she already pooped and peed. YEY!

My sister and her husband had their 2nd booster shot and they stayed for 2 more days. Lil B and her cousin H had fun singing and dancing while Taytay played guitar. Fun night!
**April 25**
Daddy wasn't able to come home. Fair hike during peak. summer season. He's coming home soon don't worry Lil B.
Whew it was a long month! It was kind of a good thing that I was a bit busy last month because if not, I might go crazy for not seeing my husband. I miss you hon.

I am sure that every mother or parent see potty training as a great challenge. Now let me share my potty training journey with Lil B.
I feel so proud that I got to potty train Lil B as early as 11 months. I know that other mommies was able to potty train their babies earlier than that, but I know how it feels like when the baby poops in the toilet or *arinola for babies* (potty trainer).
By the way, my sister gave me my niece's potty trainer because they weren't able to use it and my niece doesn't seem to like sitting there.
When she was around 9 to 10 months, her poop was getting more gross because she's already eating solids. When she poops a lot, I find it hard to change diapers and use wet wipes. I even consume more wipes if her poop is thick. I thought, I am spending more money because I need to buy more wet wipes and more time wiping it off many times and throw it. Oh by the way even if I spray water before wiping it off, I still consume more wet wipes.
Using a potty trainer or arinola, helps alot! Money, time and effort. Well at least for me hahahaha.
I want to share how I started potty training Lil B.
***I wash her in the bathroom***
It was actually hard to start with, but I am glad that I was able to start her before she can walk and talk. Why? She can go anywhere even if she doesn't want to wash her bum in the bathroom or if she doesn't want to sit down on the toilet. She can resist but all she can do is still sit.
**Do it everytime she poops**
I do this so that she can familiarize the feeling of sitting on the toilet and how the running water feels like on her bum, then she can get the hang of it.
**Do a daily routine**
I noticed that she already knows what will happen of we go to the bathroom. After a few weeks, she didn't resist anymore. I decided to do a daily routine from the moment she wakes up. Have her sit on the potty even if she pees or not.
Just as simple as that. People always say, start them young. That goes for may aspects in life. I didn't really know how that line feels like to a parents, especially to a new parent like me.
I am somehow happy to see that Lil B is very active. By the way, do not compare your baby's milestones to other babies because they have their own timeline. As for Lil B, she got he looks of her father but got the energy from her mother (me hahaha). I will probably post another article for this soon.
Anyway...
I was shocked that even if I know that she peed on her diaper already, she was able to pee a little bit in the potty on our first attempt. Then on the same day afternoon, I saw her poopie face. Then I immediately carried her to the bathroom. I thought that interrupted her poop time, but I was shocked that it didn't. I removed her nappies and sat her down on the potty and then she continues to poop. I was a proud mothaaaaa! Well she held my arms like she's a mother on labor HAHAHHAA

The next day morning we did it again and she peed hihi. Whenever I see her poopie face, I grab her slowly and go to the bathroom. Sometimes it gets interrupted. There were also times that I just changed her diaper and then she poops. I am sure that you know how it feels like to change her again. There were also times that I was able to catch her about to poop and when I removed the newly changed nappies, no poop yet! Yes! But she still pooped in the potty. Another diaper saved!
Now, I have benefited for a few things for potty training her.
Saved money for wet wipes only because I use cloth diapers.
Saved time - washing it with water is faster
I am more confident that I washed off the poop thoroughly than wiping it using wet wipes.
I won't take much time cleaning poop stains on her cloth diapers
Less trash
Feeling more refreshed
As soon as she can already walk, I will try to begin to train her to wear panties instead of diapers. I hope I can do it soon.

An Almost Bad Day, Free Ride and Smiles

Have you had a day that you wanted to be pissed because of what happened but you let it go because you don't want it to ruin your day?
What do I need to do?
I needed to go to LTO to get a student license and at the same time I plan to go to Marikina Market or a store there that has *salbabidas.*
Let me share a bit of my driving journey
When my husband and I were still dating, he asked me if I can get a driver's license because he used to leave his car here. I agreed because we want to avoid asking favors from someone just to pick him up from the airport using his car. I did get one and he taught me how to drive an automatic transmission 4-wheel vehicle.
Unfortunately, my student license expired last year, 2021. I got it before they implemented the new process in getting student permit/driver's license, however pandemic happened and I got pregnant. They tried to check driving schools who will allow me to take my practical driving lessons while I am 6months pregnant and most of them didn't agree. So yeah, I have no choice but to let my student permit expire and get a new one instead.
What happened today?
I initially planned to go to LTO early in the morning so I can finish what I need to do and you know, the Lil B is missing my b**bie cause melk is life!
My parents where scheduled to get their 2nd shot of booster yesterday morning as well so I changed my plan and went to LTO after lunch time.
I fed lil B her lunch, bathe and put her to bed. I left the house around 2pm and while I am on my way to LTO, I checked driving schools if they still have slots for Practical driving for Manual Transmission for this May. Good thing I found one.
I plan to go to LTO get my student license and go straight to the driving school and enroll.
I got to the office, submitted my requirements and waited for my name to be called. Oh I almost forgot, the one who assisted me said that I am the last one that they can accommodate for the day. #40 that's my number in the queue. He took my papers and asked me to wait or go back after an hour because they are at #24.
I thought, okay to kill time I can go around the market and look for salbabida because my sister's in-laws invited us for a swimming birthday party. I have to buy salbabida for Lil B. I was kind of worried that the kids might argue over toys and salbabidas.
I went to the store....167 Hypermart.HAHAHAH yes, looks like a 168 store rip off but am still glad that we have one in our place.
They simply have everything in the store, from appliances, cook wares, home improvement, gardening, hair products. etc., basically like Mr. DIY.
Anyway, I spent an hour checking toys and other stuff that we will need. Then I went to the counter to pay for the items. While I was still in line, the one who assisted my in LTO called and informed me that my requirements are already ready and I can proceed to the next step.
I went back immediately, got my papers and forwarded to the booth wherein they will need to verify my account in the LTO portal online. While encoding the information, something went wrong in the medical certificate number. He asked me to log in and then checked my papers again. He saw that the name on my medical certificate doesn't match the name on my other papers.
Here comes the problem....
I posted this article a few weeks ago, *Being Traditional is Not the Law**.* To give you an idea, the lady who printed my medical certificate didn't allow me to use my Hyphenated surname (maiden surname-husband's surname). Going back, she still educated me **(in a condescending tone)** that once I got married I will need to use my husband's surname too. Their system will not allow putting in 2 surnames even for driver's license. I insisted of course, because I will need important documents to have my names identical to the others, like my POSTAL ID which already indicates my hyphenated surname.
NOW.. I told the kuya that I will go back to the clinic and request for it to be changed as the clinic is just across the street.
I went back to the clinic and looked for the woman who printed my medical certificate. Whew, she's there. I was still catching my breath when I asked for their assistance on my med cert. Here's how the conversation went:
Ate Gorl: Yes po. *(Yes, how can I help you?)*
ME: Ate kelangan ko palitan yung name na nasa medcert ko. Kasi yung pangalan na ni-print ***mo*** kasi sa med cert ko ayaw tanggapin ng LTO kasi iba yung nasa forms and requirements ko.
**Ate Gorl**: Ay ano po ba dapat ma'am? *(What should be the correct name?* **took my papers and check the names)
**ME**: Ayan ate, yung nasa ID ko na postal. Nageerror sa kanila kasi di match yung pangalan na nakaregister sa LTO portal. *(There, you can check my postal ID. That should be my surname. We're getting an error in the LTO portal when they encode it because of the name wasn't identical.)*
**Ate Gorl**: Ay sige po ma'am ireprint ko po kaso nakaalis na po si doc, wala nang pipirma ng cert ngayon. Bukas baka holiday, pero icocontact kita if open kami bukas. Kapag hindi kita nacontact sa Wednesday nalang. *(I'll reprint your med cert but the doctor just left the clinic. He needs to sign it first and tomorrow is a holiday, we're not sure if the clinic is open. I'll text you tomorrow if your medcert is ready, if you didn't receive a text you can get it on Wednesday instead.*
**ME**: **rolling my eyes deep inside because this is the trouble that I am avoiding and yet she still insisted and decided on my behalf as if it's her name*
**Ate Gorl**: **double checked the name that should be in my medcert and verified my contact number.
**ME**: **thanked Ate Gorl but still rolling my eyes as another day was wasted because of her.
I went home.
I went home right away because the Lil B must be looking out of melk time! I wanted to go home immediately too because I bought sandals and salbabida for her.
Even if I am pissed to ate gorl, I decided to let my frustrations stay in their clinic. I can't let her ruin my day because I can't wait for Lil B to try on her new sandals. Squeeek squeeeek!
Oh I also find it funny that when I took the mini bus, I got my *pamasahe* (fare) in my pocket and waited for the conductor to get it. I am just a few streets away from my home and he still didn't take my fare. I decided to stand up and pay before I get off the bus until I saw the sign **'*****Libreng sakay (free ride)'*** posted on the front window. Lucky that we still have buses that offers free rides. Another reason not to ruin the day because of an instance.
It was nice seeing Lil B having fun with the things that I bought. She already has slippers but it's a crocs style slippers and it distracts her when she wears it. We tried her sandals and took a few walks in the garden. She had fun! Of course my heart went boom!

This is the first time that I wrote a letter to my husband. Well he can't read it unless he opens my account on his laptop.
Why did I write a letter?
Because it's been a month since he's home. We have to save money, expenses are waving like crazy. Emergency expenses slaps us too.
I think I need to get a job or at least double time earning. Perhaps explore other crypto earning sites or platforms.
Sad news
We also received a not so good news last week my MIL was confined in the hospital for a few days because she's getting weaker. What worries us is she's not eating well. She would always say that she doesn't have an appetite to eat until she became weaker and weaker, almost bedridden. I can feel my husband's frustrations as my father and sister in law seemed to not listen to him. To consider other professionals that could also help.
At the same time when MIL got admitted, my FIL got positive for COVID-19. He's feeling normal though, asymptomatic and now he's quarantined at home. Good thing that MIL tested negative despite being unvaccinated.
I am glad that it wasn't severe as he's fully vaccinated but MIL wasn't, she's immunocompromised. Lung problem due to asthma, malnutrition, bronchial asthma secondary to pneumonia. Blood sugar spiked when she eats too.
I can't imagine how worried and lonely/sad my husband is. I want to hug him and kiss him whenever he tells me what's happening on his family's side. Now we needed to postpone other plans here in metro manila and I feel like going to Cebu where his parents are might help my MIL's condition. Perhaps seeing Lil b can motivate her to get her nutrition back at the same time, I can check on her and understand what's going on.
