What A Shame!
Oooopsie! Before you roll your eyes on me, howdy, y'all amazing read. cash peeps? All good yeah? I hope!
Well, the title sounds intriguing if I was the reader. It's Saturday and I intend to just do nothing. I have worked all week and all I want right now to relax until I stumbled on some of my Facebook memories where one topic heated my notifications. As I have mentioned in my recent post, my husband is known to be super blunt kinda guy whether it is online or in real life. As an "American", this is his norm. If I was a stranger to him, he would be the least person I'd like to debate with. I swear, I would never win lol.
So anyway, how many posts have to seen or read that talks about respect? Overwhelming, right? There were a couple of Facebook friends who speak about "respect" but doesn't know how to give it. What's up with that? They talk behind backs and gossip and actually bend over backwards to make people look bad. This was a topic he had a debate with a "Filipino" that ended up to 217 comments! lol. I am jus going to give my opinion about this as I am seeing a lot similar these days.
What A Shame!
I don't care if you're a personal friend or aren't, I'm telling you now this behavior lacks class! It amazes me that many times it is "Filipinos" who are fairly quiet with nothing to add who are the ones talking about Filipinos with life experience, globally who have comparisons to go off of. Sometimes the positive info is from Filipinos who have not been outside the Philippines but are educated and also have a ton of life experience. These people speak strong and have confidence and often say what they say to help others through strong positive opinions. They are not arrogant (not all). They are people who can stand behind their beliefs and explain them. Something I see very few people being able to do. It really irritating to know that they are dragging others with their immaturity and they are not even in their 20s anymore.
Suggestion? Don't be a Marites! Shut up and learn! If you don't like someone, be classy enough and have enough self respect to tell them or just be quiet.
Unity and respect are the key words. Backstabbing is not unity and not respect either. Bringing others down to your level is not respect. That behavior lacks class, I swear. Funny how some of the ones who bring up such things are often the biggest ducks in the puddle. Some people can't deal with differences and that's how you know they haven't matured. Age is never an indicator of maturity. The body is maturing but not the mind. If anyone disagrees with one's perspective, you are welcome you to step up and say so like an adult.
Sorry, I got carried away haha.
(Disclaimer: This has nothing to do with me nor anyone on read.cash. So chill)
Alright, guys! I am taking a day-off today and will get back at ya later tonight maybe. Have a wicked weekend. Stay out of trouble. Xoxoxo.
