Let's All Beat the Heat With Some Ice Cream 🍨 🍦 Hello friends and fellow people of read.cash. Its been awhile indeed. Hope all is well for those of you I haven't read or talked to in quite some time. Today I share with you something that always gets my taste buds going not to mention my blood sugars up, ice cream. I love ice cream so much that I even make my own and create my own delicious creations. What you see above is a brownie I made that I served with vanilla bean ice cream than dowsed it with Carmel syrup on the top. I miss this one it's been a bit are you imagining its taste? The second picture many might not know of but in a few minutes you might go searching for it, haha. This is fried ice cream. Wait ice cream can be fried? Yes it can and imagine a hard warm shell outside with a hard cold inside. The key is rolling ice cream into a ball than wrapping it up with aluminum foil and placing it in the coldest part of the freezer until it is rock hard. Once that is done take it out and set up two dishes. One dish with egg whites and another with your choice of an outer shell. I used cornflakes for this one. Next up is you dip your ice cream ball in the egg whites first than completely cover the ball in corn flakes, should not be able to see any ice cream. Place back in freezer. I use small burrito shells for the chips on the side. I cut them into triangles and place them in fryer. Only take about 30 seconds until their golden brown. Once there done I sprinkle a cinnamon & sugar mix on both sides of them. The next part is dipping our ice cream balls in the fryer. I use a long pair of tongs to do this. Only about 10-15 seconds in fryer while holding onto the entire time with the tongs. Next up is topping everything off. I usually drizzle honey over the ball. Followed by covering it up with some whip cream. Final step is drizzling some chocolate and carmel syrup over the whip cream. Whoops one last thing cherry on top. 🍒 What a delicious frozen treat this is. Sometimes it's easier to just go out and pay for a nice ice cream. I'll admit I do this from time to time. Often you have many choices of flavors and types to choose from. We don't have this luxury at home unless you run a ice cream parlor out of your place. Oh my goodness, my Filipino friends, a Halo Halo made in the States. Just recently I tried this for the first time. I was overjoyed with its flavor of numerous ingredients. The farther I ate down this cup the more I fell in love with it, hehe. Oh by the way, I head a community in Hive called Ice Cream Creations. This month I have made the theme about ice cream experiences in the Philippines. I would love to see some of you that are in Hive post thier with your experiences. Of course you don't have to be Filipino and anything related to ice cream is welcomed there. Have you had an ice cream to beat the heat recently? What's up Noise Mates? The cold of winter and it's coming up on a week of coldness and snow here. Check out the pictures I share with you on these cold days 🥶 I have been a shoveling snow fool. I don't know how wildlife can bear it. In my locale we have squirrels that are black, brown and even gray. At least I found a natural koozie. No lie, these water bottles were room temperature and they had ice crystals in them in no time. I don't know why but I did a snow angel in my back yard. Not many areas to make one because drifts fill the area. Take care, stay safe and enjoy the week ahead. I love you all ❤️

Poof Here I am and Poof Here I go What's up read.cash peeps? Another year is ending and Christmas is just days away. I hope all is well and may the holidays bring joy to you. What is up with the title you may ask? Well let me give you my thoughts on it. As I click on the notification bell I see a span of articles/short posts that go out three days in one page. Not many people publishing articles and most are short posts. I'm not a huge fan of short posts because it has taken away from published articles. Not now but in the past there were a cluster of them that just hid the efforts of those publishing articles. Was it really a good idea by the the Admin deciding to air drop on short posts? This really pushed me away from the site after awhile. I just seen so many people abandon writing articles. To me, it seemed like it became watered down here. Now I'm not saying all did this as there are more than a handful that continued with their efforts. Many look for support from the random rewarder. Since it was mentioned of his last tip last December it's been really spotty. It's tuff to stick around when there is nothing to be rewarded for. At the time I stuck through it and spent much effort to motivate people to stay. We can all sit, wait and hope for a turn around but should we have to do that? I have always wondered why no updates are available from the Admin. Good or negative I believe as bloggers we deserve these answers. Why not propose what's in store or least gather some feedback from us? So what happened to me here? Yes I admit I have disappeared like a rabbit in a magicians black hat. A lot has to do with being a lot more active in real life. Also so many fellow bloggers have found refuge in Hive. I moved to the platform and reconnected to so many that use to be here. I guess you could say it has an old feeling of read.cash with those former users but under the platform of Hive. So I spend almost all my blogging time there. Since being there I have wrote many more articles than I did here. Another reason for my disappearance is I'm not as financial stable. I like to read and reward the authors but without any air drops I can't afford that much out of my pocket. My BCH balance converted is at $.08 USD now. Well I think I did my fair share here and it was so fun here the first half of my time here. To be honest, now I wish I was on the receiving end 😂 As bloggers we need motivation to keep writing. I'll admit I lost that here, not just monetarily but engagement seems not to be as great as it once was. I haven't quite thrown in the towel as I do stop by every once in awhile. I just can't be the user I once was here. It's not easy to admit it but it's the hard truth. I am grateful for this platform, after all its where I first got my start as a blogger. The other reason is the many of users I got to know. So poof here I am and poof here I go. This has been my activity here over the last few months. Not gone for good but it may be awhile before you see another article from me. This is all I have at this time. I really wanted to explain my long absence here. A Year That Has Gone by in a Flash Hello all how have you all been? I really ask this as it has been quite some time. I myself have been living life on a day to day basis to the most part Well more so lately I guess. As I look back at this year it seems so fresh. Cold winters days as it began. As I sit here today it's not far to experience what I did than. Sure the best part of the year is upon us, Holiday Season 🦃 🎄 Last year I went to back home for Thanksgiving day. Fornately I will do the same this year and even spend my Birthday there. Sure I have done a lot this year and have been through some ups and downs. I think we all go through this no matter how we tackle life. There's always those things that bring us up as well as those things that drag us down. It's important that we always work towards finding peace. Spring came and gone so quick. It was by far the shortest of all seasons here. A flower has bloomed but leaves survived somehow through winter and into spring. I got out some in nature and visited a few places before the heat of summer arrived. An odd year of fishing for me. Usually spring is when I go out the most. I think I went just twice, once early and the other as summer was close. Summer was by far the longest season of them all. It felt like it from May all the way through September. I have to admit I have never done so many things as I did this summer as an adult. I visited countless parks, museums, and sights of nature. I also took about a week long vacation. I also did a first this summer, I rode on a train 🚂 Now I have seen thousands of them in my life but almost all were freight trains. It's fall in full swing now. Now a majority of the trees have lost most of their leaves. So far I have been happy with the fall. I thought it was over a few weeks ago as it was cold very early in October but the last week or so it been really nice weather. I'm happy to say on Sunday I went fishing four days within a weeks time. I guess you can say I also celebrated with a fresh fish dinner I baked. This past week I wanted to make up for all that fishing I didn't do this year. Well I've been delivery driving all through the year. Lately not so much as I have backed off some due to it getting darker sooner and to give me a little break. I show you this food truck above because I picked up an order from it to deliver. I've done over 4000 deliveries but have never had a pick up from a street vender truck. I tell you when I think I have seen it all this happens. Another selfie of myself, I was was waiting for an order. I think I need to stop wearing gray it highlights my salt and pepper, haha. Well that's all this guy has for now. Hello Noise mates! Hope all is going well. I have been getting by and have been exhausted. I have been focusing on rest and doing so but it really doesn't seem to be working. I know this will pass. Well I was able to make me a quick dinner tonight. Just a small sirloin steak with a sweet potato and some steam vegetables. Hello Noise Mates how are all of you? I'm am just dragging Today. So tired and was even feeling it before I ate at my favorite Filipino place. I tell myself once I get off of work I'm going to sleep. I just know that will not happen because it never does. I at least hope I can get to bed early tonight 🙏 The struggling to stay awake is no fun. On top of everything it has been raining all day. Well I got my first local fans as a blogger. A few weeks ago I did a blog on a Filipino restaurant that I absolutely love. I went there yesterday and the owner asked me if I write. I said yes I I blog a little. She got a phone and showed a picture of me. Than she thanked me for the praise and kind words towards her business. Hello Noise mates it's been awhile since I posted here. How are all of you? I was out delivery driving early today and delivered just outside of town to a farm. I was shocked to see these big mammals. Are they feeding them special food? Pictures sometimes do no justice. Emu or Ostrich? This bird made me feel short and I'm 6'2. The longhorn was the biggest one I have ever seen. The rest of the cattle were oversized too. I don't know maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, haha. Take care, be safe, and I love you all ❤️

Finally a Vacation!! Hello friends and people of read.cash. How have you all been? I believe I have went the longest without posting something here. It's been awhile and I have been busy. I know I told some of you I would share some pictures from my vacation recently. So let me do that. Well I left on Wednesday afternoon for a six day road trip up to South Dakota (SD). This trip had 3 parts to it. First part was my time in Sioux Falls, SD. Wonder why the city is called such name? Well picture confirmation is above 😂. Part II and Part III involved me from exploring the state from East to West. Once we arrived my mother had food on the table for my son and I. Later on we went to Falls Park (Above) at night. A natural falls off the Big Sioux River right in the city. I grew up in this area and visited this place a lot. It was my son's second time here but his first time seeing it under the lights. A great place to spend time to unwind at. Thursday morning after momma's breakfast 😋 we headed to downtown Sioux Falls. We went here to experience the "Sculpture Walk." I give you a few sculptures as there were a total of 67. Towards the beginning of the walk there was a map that showed the locations of all of them. To see them all it would take around 12 blocks of walking. The sculptures themselves were made from artists from all around the country and even included some from Canada. The neat thing about all of this is they have a "People Choice Awards" for them. The winner of that award is picked by normal citizens like you and I. The city buys the award winning art piece and displays the sculpture permanently somewhere within the city. Now every sculpture is for sale but they range in price from $2000 to $30,000. I voted and picked the sculpture (first photo above) titled, "Owling at the Moon." This piece was constructed mostly out of silverware. That is super cool plus I liked the subject matter and the nifty title. This building opened for business in the fall of 1890. A little bit of everything in this building in reference to the history of the area. The thing I liked the most was the history of the Sioux Tribe who once thrived in the area. There was plenty of old artifacts that showed how useful the Native Americans were with their resources. Thursday evening my two sisters, my son and myself headed to a county fair that was about 30 miles away. The first thing we did was get some fair food. We got corn dogs, funnel cake, and homemade lemonade. This stuff just doesn't taste the same anywhere else, simply delicious but expensive. There was about a dozen fair rides and hundreds of booths available to visit. Many live animals to visit that farmers from all around brought in for livestock competitions. This included horses, pigs, goats, lambs, cows, and even a long horn. That long horn was a gentle foe as you could actually pet it. There wasn't any live rabbits with antlers though 😂 🤣 Friday we didn't do a lot except look at old photography books and relax. Later in the afternoon we left to take off for our next adventure which was to go to my sister's camper which is near the great Missouri River. The river divides the the state in half. It was an early Saturday morning for us. We had to get up early to beat the heat to get some fishing in. The sun, the sky, and the water are a beautiful thing just before sunrise and during it. We fished for about two hours and caught 1 1/2 fish. What about the half fish? Well I caught a fish, got it in the boat and it managed to get back into the river. I was gearing to take a selfie with it and it slipped out of my hand as I was trying to stick my finger under its gill. So there you have it the one that got away, haha. After lunch and a little bit of a cat nap we headed to Native American museum. I've been to quite of few of them but hands down this was the best one I've ever seen. There were so many authentic pieces. One of my favorites was this canoe which was dated around 1870. So much history was told here too and a majority of the walls contained artwork that was done by Native Americans. Soon I will compile three museums into one article on Native American life style in Midwestern America. Sunday we headed out after getting breakfast to our third location Rapid City, SD located on the western part of the state. There we had a hotel waiting for us. We made two pit stops on the way. One was a visit to a unique town and the other was a national park with some unique formations. Our first stop was at a place called 1880 town. Not a real town but all the building are real. The place takes in old buildings from around the region that would have been used in that timeframe. It was set up like a real town and it feels like one too. Not everything but it had a church, bank, barbershop, train depot, hotels, saloons, fire department, general stores, houses and a few others. Looks old and let me tell you it had the distant smell to it. Heehaw!! Cowboy up!! I truly felt like I was back in those times. I snapped out of it when I had to go to the bathroom because I wasn't using the outhouse. Plus where is that red cob, haha. What you see above is Badlands National Park. Very cool park that has a highway through it so can see you can see the amazing landscape sitting in your car. For safety, there are many view point stops where you can get out and be part of the landscape. Be careful though their are rattle snakes. Hear a rattle go back to your car because the closest hospital is a good few hours away. We did see some wild life which included a mountain goat way too far away to take a picture of and a buffalo. We were lucky that a fellow tourist had binoculars so we were able to see the mountain goat clearly. We spent a good 6 hours between these two places and it was worth it. The last stop for the day was our hotel room which is still two hours away. Once at the hotel we ordered pizza than shortly after that went to bed. Monday morning came and my teenager son was a bear to get out of bed. Once up we headed to the cafeteria area of the hotel to get our free continental breakfast. Our plans were to visit Jewell Cave which is the third largest cave in the world. After that we were going to do a drive by of Mount Rushmore and visit Custer State Park. Well our plans didn't quite go as planned because we were stopped in our tracks at Hill City, SD. Wouldn't you know it on our drive path to Jewell Cave sat this place called 1880 Train. I had to check it because I love old aged equipment especially trains. Intially I thought this place was just a static display of railroad equipment. I was wrong they actually sell train tickets to a city that is about 10 miles away, Keystone, SD. We went inside the train depot which is basically a gift shop that also sells train tickets. We bought tickets and had a few hours before our departure. We ended up going to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Unfortunately no time for Jewell Cave. On the way back we ran into the unfinished Crazy Horse monument. The journey at Custer State Park was a mixed one. Sure the scenery is amazing but we paid admission to see wildlife. We only seen a handful of the available wildlife. We seen a herd of bison but they were in the distance. We seen some burros close up but we had already seen them somewhere else. Another thing we saw were some prairie dogs which are like a mix between a mole and a squirrel. The one thing I seen from about 150 yards away was a mountain lion but I missed getting a picture. So the Crazy Horse monument was a quick drive by as I took a shot of it at a red light. A lot of South Dakota residents argue that it is a waste of admissions to see it since it's not done. Some say the museum inside the confines is spectacular. That alone would make it worthy of visit from me. I know there is a smaller statue there that shows what the finished project looks like. It's basically Crazy Horse pointing while sitting on his horse. I think if it ever gets finished it will be a site to see. The problem is it's not state or federal funded. That's an argument I won't get into. I will say it should be for numerous reasons. Well it's time for departure 😊 I'm super stoked because this is my very first train ride. The train is a 1926 Steam Engine Locomotive, Choo Choo! I'm three cars back in a car named the Redfern. Only a 10 mile a journey and it's about an hour each way. It went slow for several reasons. The main reason is it's one the highest grade tracks in my country. There are also a few sharp turns and it's for tourism. It allows for better pictures and you get to suck up the experience for longer. This was the last major thing I did on this road trip. Since I was a train virgin this really was my highlight of my vacation. We took our time getting back home. We stopped at my sister's camper and spent the night. The next morning we left and stopped at my mother's and she had lunch waiting for us. We departed early afternoon and made at back at home after some school shopping around 6:00. Before I let you go let me show you some scenery from the train ride. You will see some older houses, the amazing views of the Black Hills National Forest, some carved mountains that the tracks went though and some old left behind mining operations. A Year That Seems Like Forever Hello readers and friends. How has everyone been? It's a different kind of birthday for me today. One year of blogging for me (12 August). It all started for me right here at read.cash and noise.cash. Let me tell you what led me to blogging, my good old days here, the very silent period, my venturing out, and some good ole appreciation. Prior to Blogging I spent some time on Kik more or less looking for some online conversation. I spent about 6 months or so time there before joining here. My whole goal there was to meet individuals I could share issues with. I was not there to hook up with anybody though that was much the vibe there. I mostly spent time in Asian communities chatting in group chats. Why? I just have a connection with Asians hard to give a specific reason. I guess it may have to do with being in relationship a long time ago that turned out to be a lost love. About two or three months in I met an individual who did listen to my issues and I consider her a really good friend. We met in GC when I mentioned about going fishing. I remember her saying, "I like fish too Bob." Well long story short I sent her picture of fish I caught via a PM. It was a promise as I said I would catch one for her (I think, little foggy), haha. That led to many hours chatting and we got to know each other fairly well. I may be wrong on the length but I think it was a good three or four months. I learned she was a blogger and was currently on break from it. Well she returned from her break and began blogging again. It wasn't long after that she sent me links to both noise.cash and read.cash. This is how my journey started here. Some of you know who but for those of you that don't it's no other than @bmjc98 aka MJ :) My Good Old Days So my good days differ from some of you older veterans. Mine were when I first got here to Christmas last year. Those were the days where $3 - $6 per article were common for me. I quickly met some interesting people that I really enjoyed reading from. It was September when I met my read.cash identify. It was my first time choosing Authors of the Month. I labeled it "Ber" Authors of the month for the remainder of the year. There were so many I wanted to give recognition to so I did multiple users each month. I shortly began doing some challenges. At first, I followed MJ's challenges than I did my own. I found doing them and writing them was a lot of fun. It also led to a little more interaction in the read.cash community. I did the same thing with writing prompts. Followed others and came up with my own. Silent Days I think it was around the Holidays when we all got the message that the random rewarder did his last tip. Many left right away, some stayed for bit, and a few decided to stay regardless. I tried my best to encourage and even increased my upvoting some to keep the few that were left. At one point my piggy bank was all but dry. I'm not a rich fellow I work many hours for what I have. I'm a slave to the dollar like many of you, haha. It became so quiet I thought the end was near. In February there were times where I would check for something to read and there was nothing. The worst part about this period is many vanished. Sure some either went to Hive or devoted all their time to it. The sad part is I had some of my favorites authors just stopped blogging period. Venturing Out I even got bored with read.cash not because of the aim of the platform but I felt like I heard my own echo. I made the decision to go to Hive. Immediately going there I ran into many that were once here. Even some of the elders I never had the opportunity to meat were there. I waited for the move and I'm not going to lie I thought the doors were going to be closed here. Shortly after getting a little traction in Hive the random rewarder showed backed up. A small flood of new users showed up along with some familiar faces. I quickly realized I don't have time to devote to both. I tried sharing time between both but that only worked out for some time. I got overwhelmed and decided I had to devote more time to one. Many know I spend much more time in Hive now. I got hooked on growing there. Hey most of you are there as well. There's a few here only and I stay here for that reason. Appreciation The last year has really be a roller coaster here. Is there a correlation between BCH price and the air drops? Perhaps who knows, all I know is I have met some great individuals here and I am very grateful for that. It was my start here and I won't throw the towel in and give up here completely. The thing about here is it's so easy to understand and be an author here. Your allowed to write whatever you want and don't have to worry about communities or tags to use. No one is going to come along and mute your post because you may have teeter tottered on a rule. No down voting that takes value away from your post. Even with the ups and downs I've had here the last year I have had a hell of a good time. Between the challenges, prompts and the #readcashrain events it's been so interesting reading from you all. The most fun part is seeing you out of your comfort zones, haha. Shall I do a a fourth #readcashrain ? Well I'll answer that for you...Heck yes!! You know I've had the template in my head for awhile. Haha everything including the interaction questions, jack pot, and writing prompts. Also I have another challenge in my back pocket. After Thoughts Well one year down another to come right? Seems like it has been a long year blogging. I guess the ups and downs does that. Looking back though I would do it all again. Too many friendships made and that is the best part of doing all this. I go on vacation Wenesday once I get off work. I will be off for 11 consecutive days. So looking forward to it. Not as Planned Hello friends and readers. I hope everyone's Monday went well. I felt like mine should have been incorporated into my weekend. Let me give you my Friday to Sunday. Well my Friday started like any other weekday, I went to work. It was a slow day at work so I decided to bounce and leave at lunch time. I got something to eat and decided to check out a museum. This is like no other museum I've been to before. It's an old Union Train Station. Sure a lot of train stuff which is extraordinary but this building contained so many other exhibits. In the first picture is the reception area and it really is much untouched when the building was built in 1931. It's a great view seeing the vaulted ceilings, hanging chandeliers, beautiful windows, and yes the original decorated floor. Next photo is an early 20th century rail car that was used in the city. Later on in my journey I walked inside 3 passenger cars and seen a 1890 steam engine train. Also seen some nice train models and a rather large electric train set. Third photo is of a lunch box. For the record, I love me some Cracker Jacks or Jills. There was an exhibit that show cased hundreds of lunch boxes. I really enjoyed this walk because it brought me back to my childhood. Fourth photo is that of a buildings made of Legos. Not just any building, the one pictured is the tallest building ever built in the world. Take a guess on it's name in the comments, a little reward to the first one to guess it. In all there were around 20 Lego buildings from North America, Asia, and Australia. The cool thing is they had play stations where you can attempt to make your own. Last photo is of a tipi. This exhibit had many artifacts and historic information on the Native Americans that once thrived in this area. It was a nice look back in time. This wasn't it but highlighted some of the more popular exhibits. I spent about 4 hours here and got kicked out when they closed. I probably seen about 80% of the museum. The rest of my Friday I spent delivery driving. Saturday I woke up fairly early and worked on the train portion of the museum for my Hive article. It ended up being my most viewed and my highest monetary value article to date. This is when my weekend plans changed. I couldn't get the lawn mower started. I pulled and pulled and no go. So I used my limited mechanical skills. While getting the spark plug out I cut my finger. Not a serious cut just needed a bandaid. The spark plug was wet so I dried it off along with where it goes in at. I've done this before and knew the area where the spark plug goes in needed some air. I still tried one more time after wiping down to see if I would have luck but no go. I went inside for a couple hours. Once inside I worked on that Hive article some more I told you about above. I put down my phone and got something to eat, a simple ham sandwich. After that I went back outside. Put spark plug back in and it fired up with one pull. I had to do both the front yard and the back yard. The grass was a bit wet and the back yard grass was tall. Of course it was warmer by now. It wasn't long and I was a ball of sweat. Normally it takes about an hour to do both. With the wet grass and the tall grass it took about two and half hours. The lawn mower constantly stalled because it got clogged up with grass. Good thing is it got done!! Went back inside to try to cool off. I was tired, warn out and hot. I finished up my Hive article and started on another. I ended up taking a shower and just hung out at home doing some other little errands the rest of the night. Sunday Once again, up way before you would hear the rooster sounding off, haha. I decided to finish up the second Hive article which was on the lunch box exhibit. I ate breakfast than just chilled for a bit. A few hours later I ate lunch than went delivery driving pretty much the rest of the day. The weekend did not turn out the way I had envisioned. The original plans was to delivery drive on Saturday from 11:00 to 8:30 to flex on two delivery apps. I ended up not driving at all and pushed it back to Sunday. Sunday was suppose to be a fishing day but fortunately I did quite well delivery driving as I made a whopping $280!! Not bad for a little over 8 hours of work. Final thoughts The weekend didn't go as planned but I'm glad I didn't mope it all away after the incident on Saturday. Sometimes chores become more difficult than what there suppose to be. What do we do? Easy get them done and tackle what's next. Getting to the end of this article I realize I went two for three that's not bad right? Everything can't always go as planned. Los Tapatios Mexican Grill & Bar / Author of the Month Hello read.caah friends and readers. How are you all doing? Do you remember me, my last post was way back on 1 July. I've been busy doing things and exploring new opportunities. For today's article it will be a two part article. Part I will be a lunch I had a few days ago. Part II will be my pick for Author of the Month. Let's flex some food first shall we? This was my lunch choice for Tuesday. I wanted to go to a sit down restaurant and feel a little relaxed. This place isn't huge but had some nice decorations and decor inside. Very similar to another Mexican restaurant I went to a few months ago. To me the food was better here and the plate contained more sides. Let me also tell you it was a bit less out of the wallet to 😁 I love the decorative chairs with all the different designs. None were the same along with booth backs and table tops. This was the same scene at the other Mexican restaurant I visited a few months ago but the designs were different though. How about those bar stools? I think they are extremely cool being barrel shaped. With the wooden legs. Each one has a different bottle of liquor engrained on it with its name. Very cool lamps throughout the resteraunt. I like how the look like outdoor lights. They almost look like bug zappers, haha but obviously are not. Hey what about the picture with the three Amigos wearing sombreros? To me it looks they are looking all around the restaurant at the happy fed people. At any typical restaurant here in the U.S. chips and salsa are served first with you drink. I just got a glass of water nothing worth taken up picture space for this article, haha. These chips were warm and the salsa was great. I didn't eat all the chips but did put a good dent in them. The chips also goes well with the main entree. Oh goodness lunch is served and let me tell you it was very filling. What you see is a Chimichanga entree. A chimichanga is a deep fried tortilla wrapped with chopped beef with cheese sauce drissled over the top. Self serving topping accompanied on the plate include lettuce, guacamole, jalapenos, sour cream and pico de Gallo. Also served with refried beans and Spanish rice. The chips go really well dipping in the refried beans. I use a spoon and throw all the toppings on top of the Chimichanga. Some like to get a medium fork load of the Chimichanga and pick up a little of each topping with the rest of the fork. Not me I have a time limit and have to be back to work. How do I rate this meal? I give it a 9.5, where do I deduct the 0.5 I dont even know. It was darn near perfect as it tasted good and the appearance was good too. Author of Month Well I still have a thing for those who were here when no one else was here. This individual is a work horse when it comes to producing articles. His consistency has been outstanding and some of the articles are not quick reads. I wish I had half of his consistency. Also If you need help with something technical about these writing platforms I bet he will be your first and only stop. Congratulations @MicroReylatos you deserve this bud. I hope this finds you well, its hilarious to me that you posted a short post a few minutes ago saying you need a break. Well take a break friend our timing is perfect and you deserve a break!! Oh Canada what are you smoking? What could be a clear day with a breeze is a smoky one. When did Canada all of a sudden catch on fire the last few years? This is becoming way to frequent the last few years. Shouldn't put all the blame on the them, the United States has had some fires out on the west coast but not like what's going on Canada. Smokier here now than the the 4th of July!! I guess a breath of fresh air will have to wait. Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend. Hello Read.cash community. I hope all is well with everyone. Losing a parent is hard pill to swallow. I just learned a friend lost her mother. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers 💚 🙏. I lost my father 34 years ago. When it happened a wound was opened. Time can heal a wound but remains is the scar. Grieving than coming to peace with it takes time. I ask you pray for my friend's pain to lesson as she goes through these hard times. Take care, be safe and I love you all ❤️

July Rusty Day Hello friends and readers of read.cash. Well I'm sitting here sweating like crazy. I came down with something late Thursday night. Woke up this morning to my bed sheets soak-n-wet. Also my hair was wet too. A cold shower may help but the thought of it does not sound good. I just washed the sheets on Wednesday looks like I'll be doing them again today. I feel like shaving my face and head. Well even though I feel like crap I'm still doing a Rusty Day article. Happy Rusty Day, Rusty and all!! I'll also screen shot my upvote for our green friend. **Articles versus Short Posts** I didn't publish too much this month. So my sample size may not represent the community as a whole all that well. I published 7 articles and 4 short posts. So for the month of May Rusty upvoted a total of $3.64 on my seven articles. I counted 87 upvotes in total. He hit them for various amounts from $.o1 to $0.27. The average upvote came out to approximately $0.042 cents. All but one article received upvotes from the green one. He was on vacation for about a week at the beginning of the month. The total upvotes for my four short posts were $0.71. I counted 17 upvotes in total. Again various amounts from $.01 to $.20. Same as above the amounts were usually smaller. The average upvote came out to approximately $0.042 cents. What's my small sample size show? The average amounts per upvote were about the same as last month. Articles still getting more upvotes in turn of quantity. There's still a better chance of getting a larger one time upvote doing an article. Really the data reflected the same as last month. **Upvote to Rusty** So between the two avenues of writing I received a total of $4.35 in upvotes from the Random Rewarder. Lunch at Siam Cuisine Hello all friends and readers. Today for lunch I was craving some shrimp 🦐 in some kind of form. I actually googled shrimp near me, haha. I didn't want to have it in fried form so that eliminated pretty much all the fast food places. I decided on a Thai restaurant that I have been to before. I think I wrote about it a few months ago, I tried thier Buffett back than. Before I get to the food let me show case this place a little bit. This turned out to be hard because I did not feel comfortable doing so. The owner (guy) was like everywhere I was so I did miss out on a few other things I wanted to capture. When you first walk in there's a tiny area where you can buy things if you want. They included some tote bags (is that right ladies?), shirts, straw hats, and some towels. The appearance of the place isn't too bad. Some nice cultural pieces. The walls aren't too overloaded and it had a nice balance. I wish I had the opportunity to take some more pictures of the two small statues because there was some other cool things behind them. I just had to settle for a picture I took from my table. My waiter was the owner I don't think he was the cook today though, lol. I told him I wanted a spring roll and the Shrimp Pad Thai. He than asked how spicy do I want it from a scale from 1 to 10. I paused slightly thinking five but I know Thai food can be spicy so I said 3. I don't need to catch on fire, haha. My springs rolls came out was thinking I would just get one but I got there. The third is off to side with a bite taken off it. I almost forget I was going to do a blog on this, haha. They were very tasty crispy vegetable rolls. They came out super hot meaning they were fresh. The main lunch course Shrimp Pad Thai. It's stir fried rice noodles, shrimp, sprouts, chopped green onions, and an unknown sauce. The sauce was just a little sweet not over bearing. There had to be something else in it kicking up the spice level because I had three glasses of water before I finished it. Remember I chose 3 right? On my spicy scale it felt like a 7 🥵. I'm glad I didn't say a higher number before. The food was really good even though I took a drink after every other bite. It may not look like a lot but I had a hard time finishing it and felt full afterwards. The thing that was disappointing is there was maybe only 10 pieces of shrimp. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 not considering my shrimp craving!! Well ladies and gentlemen lunch is usually quick and so is this blog 😂 Take care, be safe, and I love you all ❤️

This or That Food Hello friends and readers. Hope all is going well. I don't feel like stressing my brain too much. So I will do something rather quick and easy. A little This and That but with food. If you don't like it we can throw food at each other? Regular or Seedless Watermelon? Anyone remember when this became a choice? It seems like when I was a kid all watermelon had seeds in it. Who played God and changed this? Well I'm not sure if there is a taste difference or not. I have to go with the seeds in it because I'm being defiant and I'm old fashion, haha. Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate? I don't eat white chocolate that much because it is less available to me. I don't hate it but it's not my choice. Milk chocolate is everywhere when chocolate is for sale. Dark chocolate a little hardier to find but the taste and the health benefits are just too much to over look. I'll choose dark chocolate over the others followed by Milk than White. Salt or Pepper? Now it can't be both like some people hair color 😂 Sure there both used to cook with but let's look at what do you sprinkle over you cooked food. I'll admit it depends on the food so my answer will be which one I use the most. Well something with a salty taste already doesn't need more salt to me. Alright pepper is my answer there's just way to many things I put it on. Steamed or Fried Rice? Is this a tough choice, a taste mood thing, or something else? I will tell you I'm not a big fan of Chinese fried rice. However some good ole garlic rice Filipino style I like from time to time. I just like my rice rice steamed probably 9 out of 10 times. It's really a consistency thing along with it being a tad more healthy as well. Cake or Pie? Can you have a birthday with out cake? The thought of that makes me say no. Pie on the other hand I think goes well for dessert on most dinner meals. Homemade pie just pulled out of the oven, oh the smell. Can you resist not having a piece later? My favorite cake is ice cream cake. My favorite pie.....I don't even know anymore, lol. Apple, Cherry, Boston Cream, and Banana Cream pie are among my favorites. It's a close choice for me but I go with pie. Pork or Beef ? Wow I'm sweating this is a tough one. Pork sausage, pork loins, pork chops, bacon, ham and the list goes on. Hamburger, steak, meatloaf, lunch meat, and so on. Pork is usually cheeper and to me can be eaten any time: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pork it is by a piggy's tail!! Chicken or Turkey ? Down to two birds and they do not both taste like chicken. In it's raw form I prefer turkey over chicken. I also liked slice turkey more than sliced chicken on a sandwich. I think turkey comes in many more forms like bacon, loaf, sausage, and some others not coming to mind. One big thing about chicken is it can be breaded and barbecued in wings . There's also chicken fingers and tenders. Turkey just doesn't have those options. Hey who wants some fried chicken? I do and I have to go with chicken on this one. Onion Rings or French Fries ? I think onion rings go best with ranch or some type of other sauces. French fries I think go best with ketchup. They tend to go with like things such has hamburgers, hot dogs, and other fried foods. I'll do both and even times I will do half/half. The one thing I don't like about onion rings sometimes is when you take a bite and the onion slips away. I'll go with french fries plus your breath won't be as bad, haha. Smoothie, Malt, or Shake? I'll eliminate malt right away I just don't like the taste all that much. A good smoothie really feels like your rewarding your body good. A nice drink after a work out. I love ice cream and that is one of the major ingredients in a milk shake. A nice sized vanilla milk shake topped with whip cream and cherry really makes it an easier choice for me, haha. Milk shake for the win!! Jello or Pudding? Not going to lie I have both of these in my refrigerator. Both in the low calorie zero sugar form :) I actually alternate when eating them. Jello is more on the water based size while pudding is more milk based. It's a little hard but I go with jello because it's considered a free food in the sugar free form when your dieting. After Thoughts How did you do? Was it easy or did you struggle some? Choosing is part of our food choices everyday. Well for most of us anyways. I was wanting some conversation so I skipped over to Kik. I haven't been there in months. The reason I left there was there were too many toxic people. I figured maybe things have changed so I went to GC (Filipinas & White Guys)I was part of. Only knew one person in it, so many have left. That one person wasn't there. A simple hello and no one acknowledged me. Even though three were chatting. A second try saying that I haven't been here in awhile and about everyone that I knew isn't here. One person says that makes sense. I then introduce myself and get made fun of because of my name. I blew it off and asked where is everyone from in the PH. Got a sealed lips gif. I just replied umm ok. They all did lol emojis. I said I'm out drink some coffee ladies be happy Pinays. One replied saying don't tell us to be happy we can be salty if we want. My reply, well I will go where Filipinas will be Filipina. I left the GC thinking what snobby people. So here I am where Filipinas are Filipina.
