The Consequences
Howdy, y'all my lovely read.cash friends! Not even sure why I titled that way.
Anyway...
I mentioned in my recent article that I had my booster shot the other day. The past 2 days were awful. I had massive headaches and muscle pains all over my body, got swollen arm and I could barely move. Today though, I feel a little better. That totally better, but better than yesterday. Thanks to bed rest and medicines.
Likewise, I referenced with regards to the closed contact of Miss Poblacion who visited our town and presently all the businesses along the beach are currently shut until further notice. We were just getting back up and now our town is dead again.
I am somewhat in a writer's block mode right now, and might as well tour you around here somewhere at the resorts (now temporary closed due to inconsiderate people) where we often hangout with my daughter and sometimes with some very close friends.
So, let's go!
Flotsam And Jetsam
This laid-back Bohemian hippy kinda inspired hostel in a vivid complex of structures with bamboo, covered rooftops and entire trees is just a few-minute ride from the town proper.
When the dark is taking over, you can hear the loud music blasting all around the beach area and spun by a Dj. The ambiance is pretty cool since it is an outdoor restobar-hostel and you are surrounded by greens (trees and some beach vegetation) close to the beach side. Seats and tables are also scattered pretty well, but you sit on mats on the floor with low tables. The ordinary tables are close to the bar area that becomes too busy once they opened.
They offer a go-to-party-place atmosphere. With the lights, the bar, the music, the menu, and the set-up, it has accomplished a strong idea that is both interesting especially to young people. Pretty cool.
Kabsat
I already posted an article about Kabsat, but for those who missed it, let me tour you once again.
Well, Kabsat (derived from an Ilokano word which means "sibling") is a bamboo restobar situated just a few steps from the beach. The interior and exterior designs are a mixed of traditional Ilokano nipa hut and modern architecture which gives a perfect tropical ambiance.
They also offer sea-and-sky views and an abundance of food and drinks, and of course the new restaurant and bar is the best place to unwind.
Overall, it's perfect if you're looking for a place to chill, watch the sunset and just be.
Kahuna Beach Resort
Kahuna is a pretty neat and clean Balinese inspired resort hotel and is set just in front of the surfing area here in San Juan, La Union. They have stunning refined rooms with wood accents covered rooftops and patios, and have minibars, Wi-Fi and level screen TVs at the bar area. From the rooms is an overlooking beach view and surfing area and they also have a pool and suites and huge villas.
Kahuna is a little bit pricey compared to other resorts, but you get what you pay for. It's worth it in my opinion.
I wanted to add more resorts, but for some reason, I don't remember where I saved the photos. Even the photos above are just ordinary candid shots I've taken some years ago. So, I'll here everything here for now and maybe next time, I'll have more interesting photos and topics lol.
Have a terrific Sunday. We made it through the first weekend of the year, so the coming new week should be a piece of cake. Yeah? If anyone gets on your nerves, just turn them into a frog lol. Again, good evening to each and everyone of you. It's dinner time! Catch you in a little bit later. Xoxo.
One love,
