"This will be an All out Fun!"
November is fast approaching and that means...Happy Halloween? No! Its a Happy Fiesta! (Celebrating) Yes, you read it right. My mama's birthplace will be celebrating its annual fiesta this coming November 4, 2022. And that means there will be another Barangay League. "Volleyball game na naman ulit." Yay!
The barangay officials organized this league, encouraging all youngsters and aspiring Volleyball players near the said barangay to join the said event. My Aunt from the said barangay, (one of the organizers) created a group chat for us and added two members in each barangay to stand as the representative of each teams.
Last Sunday, she gave us an invitation letter for the said event. She informed us that the registration for that cost PHp 100.00 and as for the prizes- first place will be PHp 3000, second place will be PHp 2000, and the third place will be PHp 1000.
During the conversation on our group chat, she said that the games will be started on October 22, 2022, it will be tomorrow. She also explained to us the reasons why we should start the games early. Based on what I have read, there are five teams that confirms to join the league (not official tho.) The type of tournament will be Double Elimination and that means it will be a long games. And the time schedules will only be every Saturday morning because at night, there will be a disco. And on Sunday, the students will go back to their respective boarding houses, especially those who are college students. Furthermore, she informed us that each team should prepare a tiktok dance presentation because if not, she will not allow the team to play. "May ganun na gimik pala."
Because of that, I informed my teammates about everything on our group chat.
As for the tiktok presentation, I sent a direct message to my cousin (Rhian) to prepare the music and should practice a little about the actions "para hindi sila makalat tingnan." They told me join but I don't think I can cope up, so I said NO.

This will be an all out fun, for sure. Hopefully, we will give a great performance during our games and avoid any undesirable accidents like sprains.
On the other hand, I sent a message to the one who printed our team uniform, asking if we can get it today so that we can have a new uniform to wear. He told me that he is still working on it and I should just wait for him to chat me back if its already done. So yeah, I am patiently waiting here right now.
That would be all for this blog my read.cash family. If you have notice, I wasn't able to make a blog yesterday. Nah...its just another lazy day for me. (Laugh out loud)
