Me and my boyfriend will be celebrating our 1st anniversary in less than two weeks. We have been waiting for this event because we have so much plans for that special day. And the reason why I am writing an article about it is I just find our plans cute.
In this article, I will not be talking about any social issue but rather a personal life story from me. It will include the plans we have talked about for more than a month. Like what I have said, we have planned to celebrate it in ways that we want it to be celebrated.
If you are not aware, Darren and I met because of an adventure. And one of the reason why we have a strong bond is because we share the same vibes. We love sunrise, sunsets, hiking, and anything we consider as an adventure.
As months passes by, we have seen each other's sides. We have shared plans for the future, and that includes how we want to celebrate our 1st ever anniversary. It will be a special day for both of us, so we made sure to make a plan. And here is the list of our plans for that day:
Overnight At The Beach
Watch Sunset Together
Exchange Gift
Since we both love adventures, we plan to have an overnight at the beach together. We are still thinking whether we will invite friends over or not. He told me that we should set a different celebration with our friends, and give that special day to only both of us. We already planned the foods that we want to eat out there and the stuffs that we will need like tent. Also, we plan to have an overnight on a resort at the beach for our security and safety. This is how we exactly want to celebrate our special day together. And I know that it will be amazing!
The reason why we want to have an overnight at the beach is that we want to watch the sunset together. We both love the sunset and we are always mesmerized by the beauty of it every time. He told me that he wants to watch the sunset with me while we are talking about life and our plans for our relationship. We have imagined how we will enjoy it, and how perfect the moment would be for the both of us.
And the highlight of our anniversary is the exchange gift. We will be exchanging gifts. This was my idea because we already know that we will buy gifts for each other, then why not make it more interesting and put a twist? I told him about this plan and he agreed with it as well.
The plan is, we will have 3 categories in our exchange gift. First is, something that we can wear. To be specific, we have talked about buying clothes. It will depend on us whether a shirt, pants, or underwear as long as it is something to wear.
Second, something special. We have this category because I think we should also buy a stuff that will be special. It is anything that we think will be special for each of us. We should consider the things like hobbies and favorites.
Lastly, THE GIFT. This is the gift that we really want to give to each other. It is different from the gift which is something special since this will have to be the thing that we want to give to each other. We also call this the final gift.
Author's Remarque:
I just want to clear that we have talked about being budget-friendly in our anniversary celebration, especially in our exchange gift plan. As much as possible, we do not want to spend a lot of money and we just want to enjoy our special day.
I promise to make an article about how our anniversary celebration went. It will happen in 19th of this month, and we can't wait for it!
