I guess that's the trend these days. Helping while the camera is on. Lol. But anyway, they still help and people who got the help would be Happy.

This is all a Truth @Lucifer01 as so many people focus on the problem than the cause. Charity is good but the people we give could be better brought out if that position at once, rather than revisiting them and claim to be helpful.

It's all about intentions. To some extent, actions matter very little but intentions! they are everything. Even if you do good things with selfish intentions, you haven't done a, single good thing.

When I help others, I do it in silence. I think that's the best way to make someone happy by helping them.

This is very good and very true. Rather than be one of many, or distant and out of touch, strive to be a clear and present light to those you can immediately reach. II like the fact that you point out that you should help someone simply because you can and want to without waiting for someone to cry out to you or without being disrespectful in the support you provide. Gosh I'm to absorbed on reading this one, the be a candle in the dark thingy gives me chill, like wr need to be the light even the stars are gone in the sky, be the candle light when the stars doesnt showed up in the darkness time. Be a helping hand to everyone even there's nothing to benefit when helping them.

Well, it's sounds disrespectful to those people who need help. They tend to abuse the situation taking pictures like they are helping but there main purpose is to have views. Its not good at all.

Whoever wants to pull his neighbor out of the mud must himself sink into the mud to give him a helping hand.Having known misfortune, I have learned how to help the afflicted.

This made me remember a teaching I heard from an old man, he said, we should help people without expecting anything in return, and how do you know a wealthy man, its not by the amount of wealth he possess, but the amount of life he can touch. Others are in the dark, you can't be the only candle, try to give some people fire from your candle so the room can be brighter..

I Do help People but I don't take selfies with them whenever I help, I make sure that only he and me knows about it, besides, there is God that sees all things that we do.

I have taken it from the Bible that when you pray, hide in your closet, I never wanted to be a hypcrite

If we all offer kindness without caring whomever is watching nor looking nor takes the credits, then definitely the world would be a better place

Helping those who really needs without the eyes of many is so satisfying.. they may not see it around the world about your simple good deed to your fellow but He see it always.. God never sleeps, He's not blind and I know for sure..one day ..it may not be a fame but it will overflow with blessings.

But the problem is, everyone wants to be a star in the sky. I don't want light to shine in the dark. However, there are still some good people in the chest who always want to shine as the light of darkness.

You help because your heart wants to help, don't help if you only seek for popularity.

I get the meaning of the post but that's a poor comparision... Stars have helped humans since the time of stone age (millions of years before candle was invented) to understand and navigate the path they are taking by lighting up the sky, especially for the Sailors in later coming centuries... They literally wrote scientific concepts and invented creations based on Star patterns.. If there are no stars, it is down right impossible for the earth to survive and this planetary system will be a joke.. you know what star I'm talking about right? yes, The Sun..

Trust me when I say this, Stars have shown more light to people than Candles ever could be :))) .. Your post has a deep sense of meaning and it is amazing, but taking stars as Metaphor was wrong.. Sorry if I have offended you
