Happy first day of the month guys!
February seems short, yet productive. Over the past month, I felt like I even became more productive, especially when another source of income has been added to my bucket. For a productive person, there'll be no room for slacking, and every time is spent grinding, even before hitting the sack at night. The harsh reality!
The whole crypto market has faced, yet another bear episode due to the recent war between Ukraine and Russia, and it's currently recovering from a huge dip. During the dip, the total crypto Market Cap was -10.51% down from $1.835B to $1.642B on the 24th of the month based on Coingecko.
This, of course, includes Bitcoin Cash which dropped to $264 on the same day.
This bear market was supposed to be the best time to shop crypto and that was what happened, so the crypto market slowly recovers. While others were enjoying their crypto shopping, I, on the other hand, was just watching the volatile market as I have nothing to add on.
What I Got Vs. What I Lose
During this month, I traded a total of 201,426 $CATS and got a total of 4.86 BCH or $1,551.72 Flexusd. I then used this Fusd to buyback $CATS at prices shown in the table below. That includes some of the BCH I used to buy a pega since the VIS price also dropped so hard and I wasn't able to sell my profit last January when its price reached ATH.
From the Flexusd I got from trading, I then used the $1,224 to buy a total of 180K $CATS which I regretted doing as the token dropped to $0.0055 during the dip. And if only I waited a little longer, I should have had 222,545 $CATS from $1,224 Flexusd, and should have accumulated the total $CATS I sold and should even get more $CATS profits or buy other tokens.
Meanwhile, the $314.17 I used to buy 1 BCH should have been 1.18 BCH if only I bought it at the $265 price.
Aside from $CATS and BCH, another token I bought was $EMBER of the new DEX EmberSwap. And with the thought that the token's price might increase during the first day of its launch, I bought some $EMBER using the $30 prize I got from writing Bityard's article. Unfortunately, from the $0.56 buying price, it dropped to below 10 cents. Thus, losing 90% of the money I invested in this token. To compensate for my losses, I just staked the tokens in the vault while waiting for the price's recovery.
And another opportunity I missed was to sell my Pegaxy profit where I mentioned above. It was January 20 when I bought my pega and after 13 days, I was able to claim my rewards which were 4,986.4 VIS. The token reached its ATH at $0.27 and if only I sold my claimed rewards, I should have had $1,346.328 by now. My investment should have been back and I should have been able to buy more BCH if only I sold them. But since I didn't sell, the reward's price dropped to $151.58 which is 88.74% down.
After 39 days of racing my own pega, and 32 and 22 days of racing the two pega from the guild respectively, I already earned a total of 17,841.50 VIS which is only worth $470.458 by now since the VIS price is down to $0.02638 at the time of writing.
Although I lost some of my investment, at least, these two BCH-powered platforms are continuously giving me profits, as well as SmartBCH, and other DeFi platforms I am into. From these two platforms, I was able to earn more than 1 BCH excluding the ones used in tipping and donating to different users. Meanwhile, I earned more than 2 BCH profits in $CATS trading which I used to buy some tokens and more than 0.28 BCH in SmartBCH DeFi platforms.
Additionally, my investments in Nexo and BSC DeFi added small CAKE and CUB to my portfolio too, and they are better than nothing. The Pegaxy price may be down, but at least, those digits are still added to my whole crypto portfolio.
And let's hope for a better March.

My apology for the wrong photo I added here earlier. The noise.cash rewards conversion rate was wrong, lol 🙈🙈. Well, I uploaded it in the last minute and unknowingly clicked the wrong one, lol..
