Fallen out of love
While listening to some of my old playlists with a friend this afternoon, the song "Out of Love" by Chike played which we both sang along as the sweet melodious of Chike gives me the usual feeling of calmness. We talked about how painful it is to be told: "...I've fallen out of love with you". The pain, feeling of inadequacy, disappointment and anger.
Something is certain, it doesn't just happen in a day. It’s a gradual process, the signs would be there but our love for the other person clouds our judgement and eyes. We ignore the red flags until the other party spells it out to us.
How do you know someone is no longer in love with you?
Love is the most beautiful feeling that anyone can have, we cannot live without it. It makes us happy and gives us joy. When we are on the receiving end of love everything feels right in our world and even when we are having a bad day just the thought of our loved one brings a smile to our faces. However, sometimes you may feel like someone is no longer in love with you.
They don't call you, they don't text you, they don't reach out just to know how you are...When the love is gone, there's no more desire for companionship. Friendship is highly devalued. Being far away from one another feels normal. You can be around them or not. You no longer care if they come around or not. The love has gone, it's time to move on
People don't just fall out of Love, It happens gradually, from the other party not picking your calls, constant complaints about you, little things you do, little habits that are too annoying to handle, little facts that seems fake to them and so on. That is how love dies in most cases. Although I know some couples who have managed to stay loyal to each other till death.
You can have a strong bond with someone, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are in love with him or her. You can have the best time with someone but that doesn't necessarily mean you are in love with him or her.
Usually, a person goes into a relationship because of what he or she wants pls or due to peer pressure as a lot of people don't like being single.
In most cases, someone is out looking for someone to fill the emptiness in his life but he didn't know that he was going after an illusion. And this kind of illusion had become an addiction that led him to commit several mistakes until he realized that everlasting love is what lasts forever, not an illusion.
We youths want to have a feeling of love: to love and be loved, therefore we are in a haste to do things and most take little gesture of kindness from the opposite sex as a Greenlight from them but before we know it the red light is on and the heart is left dead just like those that moved after the red light in the movie - squid game.
Reason most people fall out of love
There are so many reasons people fall out of love. One of them is that they simply don't see a fairytale ending with you. It just doesn't fit into what they want or needs at that point in time.
Thing is, when people are in love, they don't see themselves with anyone else. It's so much easier falling in love than staying in love. And especially for someone you know and trust with all your heart, the thought that they can have the best with you and settle for another person does not make sense.
When you're left asking questions about why it didn't work out for the other person, you wonder if things could have been different if you did this or that differently.
You need to forgive and move on
What happens when you've had your heart broken?
-You lose confidence.
-You fear the future.
- You lack motivation
But as he (Chike-musician) went on to say on that same album in a song Titled "Forgive". You need to let go of yesterday's pain wnd live today so that tomorrow can be great. The constant heartbreak can lead to a permanent scar, you might find it hard to forget but never let it stop you from being happy. Love yourself!.
Thanks for Reading! 🥰💚🥰

Love is beautiful but it's hard finding true love... especially being in school where there are lot of insecurities and competitions.
