"From grace to grass" "Good health is underated," we say, but we usually only remember to thank God once we've recovered and everything returns to normal. Sometimes we take things for granted and forget how fortunate we are, and it's interesting to note that people with various illnesses are more appreciative than people who are healthy. Of course, no one enjoys getting sick, but we should value our health, take good care of ourselves, and give thanks to God for it. I'm sure this essay will take 30 minutes to read if I list many "grass to grace" stories. But I often wonder about people who go from "grace to grass," because it occurs frequently and few people have the opportunity to discuss it. I've always imagined it because it's like saying someone with billions suddenly becomes penniless; it's extremely difficult because that person or family is accustomed to eating 5-course meals, living in large mansions, traveling, and having maids; they will undoubtedly struggle to adjust to their new status. That's why most people assume wealthy people are proud, but I don't believe some of them are because it's their lifestyle, that's how they live, they are used to the extravagant lifestyle so it might come off as being proud or showing off. Another issue is that most people do not believe them or have lost faith in them; this does not necessarily apply to the wealthy people alone. There are times when you tell people you don't have the money for this or that, but they don't seem to believe you, why because they have always known you to be wealthy or seen where you live and how you act outside, so no matter how hard you try to explain it to them, they won't believe you, so you'll probably just keep to yourself. People like that have probably heard things like "But how will you tell me you can't afford this?" I've seen videos of homeless people, and you know how some individuals just decide to help and transform them, and you'll notice in most cases they're well educated, and if you go into their tales, you'll see they were probably living comfortably before their stories changed. Everyone has a story to tell; it just depends on which side of the story they are telling it from. You can always choose to rewrite your story; life may not always go as planned, but you can choose to write your own story from wherever you find yourself in life. Thank you for reading.😊

Childhood trauma Hello and happy Sunday to all. When you reach a certain age, your African parents begin to pressure you into marriage; in fact, I believe practically every parent around the world, particularly moms, does this. For the time being, I can say there are some things my family tells me, including extended family, about marriage😅 and all I can say is I still have a lot on my plate go now. I will not advise anyone to rush into marriage, nor would I suggest that you do so to please others. Many people enter marriage without parenting their children properly. I recall reading somewhere that "trauma" influences how we act at times, and I completely agree because most therapists try to trace the explanation back to your past (childhood). I remember hating it when people were biased in secondary school because everyone had favorites and treated them differently. I wanted to be different and treat everyone equally, and now that I have a better understanding, I can trace it back to my childhood. I used to think my parents were favoring my siblings over me, and I didn't like it. Meanwhile, it's almost like a cultural thing where the senior siblings always get the larger share, or at least that's how they did it, and for me, I believed everyone should be treated equally, and that mindset I carried for a while, and it influenced how I dealt with people. It might not only be about being partial people have different experiences some might not even realize that it is trauma they have. That's why its good to raise your child in a good environment, children pick things up fast without even realizing and when they grow up they start to act it out. We were discussing in church about something similar to this, about when a family is scattered, violent and whatever you can think of. There are 2 ways a child will react to it. 1. **The receivers**:- these ones carry on what they see. For example if this child's father use to beat his wife, when he grows up he might see it as something normal and feel it's okay to beat women, he might not even realize that He has that anger issue until it happens. 2. **The rebellious**:- These ones they see what is happening and make up their mind not to do it, sometimes they will be very keen on it to never beat a woman or some might not marry because of that. So we should be careful of the environment we raise kids and I know it might not be easy but we should try to heal from childhood trauma especially those ones your parents might not notice. Thank you for reading. I hope you have a lovely week.
Welcome to a new age The day has finally arrived😁, well it's my birthday today and thank God for another year, God has been merciful and I can say at least once a year you get filled with lots of love from everyone which can be overwhelming at times but it's worth it because out of 365 days, at least one day is dedicated to you. I will say that over the last year, I have learned a lot from various people and perspectives. With the current strike, you don't have a choice but to be patient even though we are being deprived of our rights, and aside from school, there are so many other things I have jumped into maybe out of desperation or so and it didn't go as planned or I wasn't really informed about it and it didn't go well, so I can say I have learned how to be patient. I've also learned to be positive because what you think or say becomes reality, and as someone who over thinks, I don't think it's always helped me because what you think may not be what the person actually means, because some people bottle up a lot of things that you can interpret to mean something else, I will say that communication is key to making something last, and it won't hurt to ask what someone means rather than assuming. I believe that when you are going through difficult times, your bond should grow stronger because as a family or friend or whoever, it will only help you lift each other up when you are not happy. You should also show love to others. I've learned that love is expressed in a variety of ways, from children to family and friends. Love brings people together, it doesn't necessarily have to be someone you know. Just show love always. Yes, it's a new era for me, and I want to be more open-minded about things; I've always kept my feelings bottled up. I want to try to communicate more and not just assume also. I also want to take bold steps because you never know what will happen if you don't. Although it requires a lot of faith, I am willing to take them. I understand that fear deprives us of so many things; if you don't put yourself out there (your business, your talent, etc.) no one will know your potential. Of course, you're wondering what people will say, but what will they not say? You should be prepared for the best and the worst. I also want to work hard because I believe I have been slacking in some areas. I hope that this age brings many blessings and opportunities. Have a lovely day😊.
What more do they want? Why haven't I been feeling inspired lately? Because of the ASUU strike and some other issues basically, I recall writing an essay about how to make the most of this time, but I didn't anticipate it to extend this long; yet, we don't have much of a choice. We were told to choose education, and now look at what we're up against just because we did. Aside from the fact that not everyone can afford to send their children to a private university or have them study abroad, another reason some of us have lost hope in life in general is that you never know how it will hit you, and it doesn't always go as planned. Well I hope we all come out of this alive and successful. Let me change things up a little. I remember seeing a video of an artist (ed sheeran) saying that he believes social media is just a place where people make you feel like "life is perfect." You know, when you post a picture, you expect people to compliment you just to make you feel better about yourself. Although I will admit that only a small fraction of people on social media are truly happy or are being genuine. When you see an image on social media, a lot of thoughts spring to mind: "Oh, I like this", "I think she's gorgeous," "I think she's pretty," Beautiful places, aesthetic foods, and so on, but if you know how those photos are shot or what people do to look great, you will not feel any less of yourself. I saw one influencer's YouTube channel and in her video, which was basically a day in the life of an influencer, she and a few other people went to a restaurant to take a picture and she said that most of them don't actually buy anything they just take pictures, which I interpret to mean they may just get a drink or something because they won't let you take pictures without buying anything. It helped me realize that it's simply an act individuals put on or an attempt to construct the lifestyle they want to live in; I'm not saying it's wrong, but I can tell people who look up to them not to feel obligated to do anything; you're doing fantastic. When we're having a really difficult day, we post one or two Memes to cheer us up (or just put up an act to seem happy). I've had instances when I've had particularly horrible days, and that's when I appear the happiest, most times i simply post Memes to cheer myself up. Well I just say we should hope for the best, we came to this world to live right? Whether we want to or not, so regardless of the ups and downs let's try to live right and have faith things will be better. Thank you for reading.😊
Blessed family Since this is my first article of the month, I believe I may still say happy new month. 😅 Okay, for this article, I just want to talk about family. May is a month when we celebrate family, show love in my church, and a lot of people, including myself, are born in May. I went to a family service on Tuesday, but the major focus was on marriage, and the woman who spoke really broke it down and made me view things differently. I'm not married and I'm always hesitant about marriage because I think it's a lovely thing, but I always have doubts about it, such as if I truly want to marry, because you get to spend or start a whole new life with a person.(but I still want to marry sha😂.) She remarked that the first year of marriage is often the most difficult because you may believe you know your partner well enough, but you get to see your partner more in different ways, how you do your things will be different, it might even take you time to adjust to someone living with you, you know some people like their own space. Another point is we should not demand the whole world from our relationship what I mean is, your partner is a human he won't be able to give you all you want sometimes, and of course he will do his best to be there as much as he can, same thing applies to a woman too. I have watched videos of people who before their marriage you know thought they will marry someone like Kendall Jenner, rihanna, Ryan Reynolds and the likes and they realized that they are not being realistic, even those people are not perfect themselves, except you mould or make your partner then maybe you can add all those features to make them perfect. Another thing is that people believe they know how to forgive until they get married; marriage will humble you; you will have to forgive your partner countless times, and I am not talking about when they have been abused or beaten. Nobody should stay in a relationship that can lead to death in the name of love. Also, how do you want to raise your children when they arrive, and your life as a parent should be something your children want to emulate. Also make time for each other, as a family go out once in a while don't isolate yourself, it's called a family for a reason, you will go through thick and thin, regardless of that show love while you can and as a man perform your duties don't leave everything to your wife (what I mean is it's not only a wife duties to watch over your kids), same applies to a woman you have responsibilities too care for your husband and children and also respect your husband. It wasn't promised to be easy but when you put God at the center of your family, he will help you navigate through it. Thank you for reading. 💚
"The broker you are, the harder you work" It's another lovely morning here. April is slowly passing us by, and a lot has happened this month, albeit faster than I thought, even if I wasn't able to accomplish everything I wanted but we move next month by God's grace. I came across a video on tiktok where this guy (Trevor noah) was talking about what Kim Kardashian said, she said "the main reasons why women are not successful is because they refused to get up their ass*s" and the guy said what she is forgetting is that she has luck, she was born into a wealthy family and you know they will have connections, so no matter how hard they work, it will pay off. Well, I agree with him, but I won't say it's only women; it could be a man as well, and I won't see it as pure luck, but rather as privilege, because nowadays, so many people work hard but don't see results, and that's because the opportunities aren't there, or if they are, you have to be well connected for it to work for you. When my brother and I were discussing his work (he's an artist), he said, "Not to brag, but I know some other artists which his work is better than theirs, and they even charge like twice as much, and they keep getting jobs," but he has a hard time finding clients." Everything just boils down to being connected cause you know all he needs might just be one person to connect him to someone big and he blows from there. I have had conversations with different people with different jobs and I know they work hard and are even better off than those in higher positions but they are not privileged enough. "***The more broke you are, the harder you work***," the person added. I won't deny that wealthy individuals work hard, but most others who aren't so fortunate work five times harder. It's the same as if you were a laborer or a mason; you do all the hard work, but you don't get paid as much as those who do the thinking. Kylie Jenner became a billionaire at a young age, and if you're wondering how, it's because her family had the money to turn her company into a major corporation, and the link was already in place because she's a celebrity (she works hard no doubt but they had already paved a way for her). Someone like me, or people like me, who have an idea and the desire to start a business or two, can't just wake up one day and start a big business without funds unless someone blesses me or I work my tail off to make that money. I'm not saying that someone who isn't born wealthy can't succeed, but they will have to work 10 times harder than someone who is. Many motivational speakers will try to convince you that it is simple, but it isn't. We all just have to keep working and hoping that one day we will succeed. Thank you for reading.
"Do what makes you happy",they say... "Do what makes you happy", they say but do they even give you the chance to do it or do they still accept you when you do it. Passion they say is determination or POWERFUL EMOTION for something or someone. When you have passion for something or even if it's just little interest it pushes you do more. I remember when I wanted to enter school, I chose a very difficult course, and when the results came out, I knew I wouldn't make it, so I just decided to change courses before it was too late. After a few years in school, I always say I thank God I didn't later get that course I initially picked because I felt like I wouldn't do well at all, but the truth is, assuming I got it, I might even do better than I thought because that drive will be there it's something I have always wanted so even though it's a tough course my mind is programmed already to do well in it cause to me it's something I love. I'd also like to mention that our decisions are influenced by our parents, friends, family, and society. Your parents may say they don't want to select for you, but you know deep down that if you chose what you really want, they would disagree. It's like a family where almost everyone is in medicine or engineering and a child decides to branch out and choose something like a marchioness. That child may be passionate about it, but he knows he won't do it because his parents will object. Another thing I've seen is that once you start doing what you're truly passionate about, or as they say, what you love, people start to say things like you've changed. What if that person hasn't changed? The person might have been like that from scratch but wasn't given the chance to express himself. I have given it soo many thoughts, most times when a person is doing what he loves, he has a 70% chance of making it because he will be focused, determined and excited about it. For me there are sometimes where I just see something related to fashion and immediately I am interested in it, that's when I start creating scenarios in my head lol and imagining what I can do if I had the opportunity to do what I want. Yes, we all work for to earn money and other things but can that job keep you going for years? (Would you be happy or dedicated to your work in 5-10years?) That's why so many people don't show any kind of commitment to their jobs. For example, you go to a hospital and the nurses give you a bad attitude, or you go to a store and the shop attendant isn't even serious about her job, and so on. *If only some people could comprehend that pursuing something you enjoy does not mean you have to give up something you value, such as religion or respect.* Thank you for reading **Please check out my sponsor**
It feels so good to be alive Happy Sunday guys The rain that fell this morning made me think that I wouldn't be able to go to church, despite the fact that my house is immediately across the street, but it's all good. So, there are some songs that you know may help you out at different moments, especially when you're feeling down, lonely or battling with something. The song title is alive by Beyonce, I got to know about it through the Grammy show cause of the video I saw and immediately I fell in love with it. It might be 3-4 mins long but it has a whole lot in it that got my attention. I will just talk on some part of the song. **Please check out my sponsor** The first part: "**It feels so good to be alive, got all my family by my side**" Yes, you may wonder what's the point of life, you may feel lonely, unappreciated, and other thoughts may cross your mind, but to me, that line simply means being grateful because it's only someone who is alive who can even consider having to enjoy life, then if you're worried about the world, it simply reminds you of your family, who are the only people you have in this world with God, then friends because your family will always be there for you (if they are good) Another part says **I got a million miles on me** **They want to see how far I will go** **The path was never paved with gold** **We fought and built this on our own** **And can't nobody knock it if they tried** **This hustle is personified** We all have a long road ahead of us, and others are always looking to see how far you'll go, and they've never paved the way for you. The road to success isn't made of gold, so it might be a little bumpy at times, but I know no one can knock you down if you stay consistent, work hard with God, and don't give up. Your hustle will pay off. The last part ***Look how we've been fighting to stay alive*** ***So when we win we will have pride*** ***Do you know how much we have cried?*** ***How hard we had to fight?*** I think this part hit me the most, they don't see your struggles or how much you have cried and had to do one thing or the other just to make ends meet, so when you actually win you will be happy, people might see it as pride but I see it as celebration because no one knows how far you have come to get to where you are right now. Sometimes we just need to chip in one or two sentences to encourage ourselves in whichever form be it music or article's or whatsoever. We are almost there and we will make it Thank you for reading.
Everyone has a part to play Hmm where can I even begin from. When I first saw the video so many things were going through my head, why are they recording?, what's with the other kids in the video acting like is normal, she looks big for a 10year old girl (which doesn't really matter though). Yes, a parent plays an important role in a child's life, but I'd like to point out something I remember from when I was younger: when they said "this child is spoilt," we simply assumed it meant she was rude, had no manners, and so on, but now, when they say "this child is spoilt," it means the child has been exposed to alot of thing's mostly sexual. I believe that everyone has a role to play in it, including parents, schools, and society as a whole, but more responsibility to the parents. Nowadays every single thing is now sexualized, every promotion or ad is either supporting one bad thing or the other, if you don't have a certain shape then you are regarded as not complete, even the music too is filled with all sorts and you had he surprised how much these kids know all these things. It's easy to avoid temptation when it's far away, but it's getting harder to browse without seeing something that says "I'm 5km away," "Do you want to meet?" and similar things. Most of these things are ease to access now and it exposes all these kids to a lot. Childhood is the most vulnerable time in a person's life, and it is during this time that parents should devote special attention to their children. Even in this day and age of technology and all, it is still possible to keep an eye on your children; in fact, I believe it has been easier since that YouTube and even Dstv have restrictions. To be honest, a young child who wants to be mischievous will be mischievous; we've all ignored our parents' advice, even when we were younger, but once you've done your bit as a parent, teacher, or whoever it is, it's just to hope the child decides to listen. I remember when I was teaching a class and what these children were saying was really surprising cause I always try to caution myself around kids but with that they even know more than what I was expecting them to know. Another example is that, even if parents play their role, children will take up some small acts from school; they will always discuss what they know with their classmates, and after a while, they may wish to put it into practice. That is why I stated that everyone has a role to play, but parents must take greater responsibility; ***it is acceptable to say NO to your children on occasion in order for them to learn.*** I recall my mother telling me no even though she could say yes to something, but I felt it was occasionally to teach me that life isn't always easy. ***Your child is your responsibility as a parent, take good care of that child in every aspect***. We don't value what we have until it's lost Hello there, everyone! Happy Easter! It's been a long time since I've had something to write about. Today, however, we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. People say we should celebrate Easter more because it is the fundamental reason most of us are saved because Jesus died for our sins, but I still prefer Christmas. For the purpose of today's article... If you were asked to choose between 5Bch and 1Bch, I am confident that everyone would choose 5Bch. Of course, everyone wants to grow and progress, and no one wants to stay in the same place. But one thing I realized is that in order to move on, you must respect what you have today. Let me give you some instances immediately. I was saving money for a phone, hoping to acquire a better phone than the one I have now, but I couldn't keep up due to some pressing issues. I used to whine about my phone not being able to do certain things or not being of good enough quality, but then it started acting up, and almost everyone at home tried to fix it (it's still functional, but the main use like a sim card isn't working, so I can't call or access the internet except through WiFi), but nothing seemed to work, and I didn't have the money to get another or even something better. Then I realized I didn't value the phone as much as I should have, and now I'm paying the price because it's virtually useless without internet for me. I neglected to appreciate it till I get something better, which I hope is soon. ***Most of the time, we don't realize the value of what we have until we lose it, and this is true in every aspect of our lives.*** Let me give you an example. In secondary school you know everyone had their own friend groups and all, so I had mine we were 4, it was all good and all till we were about leaving school I thought it was going to continue till when we enter university or graduate from university but at a point everything just vanished, why? Because life happens and we were all at separate places. Not like I didn't cherish the friendship but assuming I had known it would have not lasted as much as I expected it to,I would have cherished it soo much. ***Life is basically like this, we never know the treasure we are carrying until you loose it. Cherish all those little moments you have or rather put be grateful for every stage and every situation and you will be able to handle bigger ones when they come.*** Thank you for reading. Have a great week.
Let's be real Hey guys How is the weather? Another day in the rain for me, I was shivering like anything 😂. But it's all good Well I followed my brother for JAMB mock exam today and it just brought back a lot of memories as the students where coming out of the exam hall I was just seeing different facial expressions some were smiling, some were confused, some no even smile at all, although its mock exam there was still a little bit of tension. I know we sometimes claim we want to go back to when we were younger to avoid adulthood responsibilities, but I recently learned that no matter how much we try to avoid it, we will always be confronted with it. I don't want to write JAMB or WAEC again; I am done with that phase, and by God's help, when I graduate university, I don't want to go through that hardship again. Okay, so for today, I had a conversation with my friend, I'll tag you today @Freedom007We diverged from topic to topic after I raised a question😂 (Can you marry an actress or let her become an actress when you eventually marry), and it gave me a thought of what to write. A lot of things have been going on lately; different people are becoming more confident, and everyone is speaking up and not being silent. "Men will always cheat" or "men will be men," as the cliché goes. That saying, in my opinion, has made it normal for men to cheat. Not that women don't cheat, but when a man does, are we supposed to just ignore it because they are men? There are numerous instances in which I believe one party is disproportionately blamed or receives all of the attention. When a s*x tape is published, for example, the first person to be blamed is the girl, which I find odd because s*x requires two people. When a male artiste tape was revealed, he was complimented for it or, to put it another way, it was turned to cruise, and everyone laughed about it. There are so many examples like this when the girl is blamed for how she looks or what she wears, and she is the one who bears the brunt of the embarrassment. **Please check out my sponsor** I believe that there should be a penalty for cheating, just as there is for theft. If a girl cheats, she will be punished, and if a guy cheats, he will be punished as well, then things will be a little better. Of course some girls do a lot of things too like cheating and the likes but my point is why should one person be blamed for it the most. It should be both ways, cause I feel if guys feel shamed too for it things might be different a bit. PS:- its just an opinion I don't encourage bad acts or neither am I trying to support one party. Thank you for reading💚.
Do's and Dont's of life Hello there, everyone. I hope you weren't caught off guard by the rain like I was. My sister was wet to the point of dripping when she arrived at work. They had to bring her back to change her clothes and such. It's a good thing it rained since the weather is a little cooler today, and the heat isn't killing us like it usually does😂. Okay, I'm going to write about the Do's and Don'ts of various facets of life. Let's get this started.... **DO'S** -**Express your feelings clearly and concisely**: Always try to express yourself clearly, especially when you're angry. Let that person know how you're feeling at the time and in a concise manner to avoid things getting out of hand. - **Work Smart**: Prioritize projects, allot time for them, and avoid unstructured meetings as much as possible. If you have a lot on your plate, you should always arrange yourself and schedule your daily activities to make life easier. -**Speak up**:- Always learn to speak up at the first sign of inconvenience, and it's perfectly acceptable to smile and say "NO" to individuals. A closed mouth is a closed destiny; if you don't speak up, you will suffer in silence, and the other person may not be aware what's wrong. - **Schedule time for yourself**: This is critical; schedule time to exercise and stay fit; you may also choose to take a short vacation; ensure that you eat well and get enough sleep; your health is more important than whatever is keeping you awake. - **Do follow your heart**: If there's something you've always wanted to do, go for it; if there's a course you've always wanted to take, go for it; when your heart is put to something, it always works out nicely. **Please check out my sponsor** DONT'S - **Don't dwell on a mistake; learn from it**:- As humans, we are prone to making a lot of mistakes; don't allow it get to you; instead, learn from it and move on. - **Don't Compare, be You-nique**:- we are all different for a reason, don't compare yourself to other. We are all unique in our own way and be good also at being you cause nobody is going to be better at being you except YOU. - **Don't wait for love, give love**:- Not everyone is going to show you love, but you can give love first like that saying "if you give you shall receive", rather than waiting why not give love first. - **Don't close your eyes, Open your mind:**- Always learn to open your mind, different opportunities can come from it. If you shut your eyes towards everything you can never know what you will like and what will work for you. ***Finally Don't fear or run away from life, embrace life, life is beautiful it has a whole lot to offer us. Live your life***. Thank you for reading.
Do you believe in second chances? Hey guys happy Sunday So I will write about three separate topics, but please bear with me. I chose to write about the Grammy Awards before the ceremony because, at this night Twitter will be hot but things should have calmed down by Tuesday. So whoever wins whatever to me is great and should be celebrated, those who were even nominated are great people too its not easy. There is currently a beef between two or three great artiste (whether they themselves or their fans) in Nigeria, and everyone deserves to be celebrated like I have said before; you never know the amount of work some people put into things; it may appear small, but they have put in a lot of effort to get to where they are. When I do something, whether it's sewing or something else, I put in a lot of effort since it wasn't easy for me at the time because I was still learning, and while others may not commend me for it, I am pleased of what I accomplished because I know it's a gradual process and I'm getting there. So regardless of whatever happens tonight congratulations to the winners and let's leave it like that (No need to start comparing)they are all great people. The second part... So I couldn't get the topic at church today, but it was about how God is actually powerful and we don't need to seek strength from anybody else. He also said something that its those who are strong in the trying times are truly strong cause that means you can overcome anything. He also talked about a whole lot of things that are happening in the country and how we should hold onto God Because today, ***many people will go to any length to gain power, and they will do it through thick and thin in order to become wealthy and wield influence over others.*** God is the one who is more powerful than them all. **Please check out my sponsor** For the third part **Do you believe in second chances**? I've seen individuals say things like, "I'll never talk to this person" or "I'll never forgive this person for what he's done." Yes, there are times when people hurt you and do all kinds of things to you, and it makes you cold, much like when you split up with someone and start treating everyone else the same way because of what they did to you. ***I believe everyone deserves a second chance that's if the person is truly willingly to change be it your friend or family or anyone. That's why Jesus gives everyone another chance regardless of what we have done he still chooses to accept us and that's if we are willing and determine to change.*** Thank you for reading.💚 Thank you @Jumper-01 for the sponsorship renewal, I appreciate it.❤
Why marriages fail Hey guys It feels good to be alive isn't it? We thank God for that, I pray he continues to keep us to experience the good things in life. So let's get started.... Before I begin, I'd want to state that, due to the nature of the matter, I am neither a marriage expert nor am I married; in fact, I am still quite young. I've just listed some of the most typical reasons why I believe marriages nowadays fail. 1. **Getting in for the wrong reasons**: Many individuals do this now, and some don't even realize why they're getting married. The majority of people marry for the sake of their looks, bodies, or money. Yeah, money is fantastic, but what will you do if you get married and one or two things happen and he/she loses everything, and if it's for the body, the body changes, so will you still want to stay with that when everything changes?, you both have to be on the same page. 2. ***Finances***: This is one of the most crucial aspects of marriage. There are a lot of topics that should be discussed before getting married cause this money of a thing can change the circumstances and ruin a relationship. - You must know what kind of lifestyle you want to live, whether your income can support it, how you will pay the bills when you have children, and whether you and your partner are saving. You must plan all of these things so that your marriage can thrive; money makes things better. - You should also find out whether your partner is in debt so that you can work things out before getting married so that you don't end up struggling. - How do you want your wedding to be? If you are wealthy, you can choose to have a lavish wedding, if not you should just do your wedding within your means. 3. **Infidelity**: This is a major deal breaker for relationships for most people; although some marriages do not end after this, but they do begin to struggle with trust issues; everything about that person begins to bother you; will your partner be able to deal with it mentally? Sometimes I think there should be a penalty for cheating because most people cheat and then act as if it's nothing. When you make a promise to someone, the very least you can do is honor it. 4. ***Inability to resolve conflicts***:- There's no doubt that there won't be conflicts in a marriage, but you need to always communicate with your partner always let them know how you feel about a thing and try to be understanding, Some go for marriage counseling or therapy If works for you, you can always go for it, look for ways to settle those little issues don't let them add up if not it could break the marriage. **Please check out my sponsor** **There are a thousand reasons why marriages fail, I just selected a few, it doesn't mean everything will be smooth every time but you can deal with it carefully and involve God too in your marriage and you will be fine.** Thank you for reading.💚
Things we do for love Hello everyone Have you ever been hungry to the extent that you start to shake?😂, that happened this morning I postponed eating to quickly go some work for my mum cause I thought it won't take time, until I realized that any moment from now I might just fall down😂. Well I am good. Let's get started. I was talking with a friend about why people don't do things like wish people happy birthdays on their birthdays, and I'll explain what I mean. It's not necessary, and there's nothing wrong with not wishing someone on their birthday, especially if you're not that close, but my point is that not receiving form of care from a very close friend makes you wonder why they don't want to celebrate you, and other things like that. He said that wishing individuals happy birthday does not imply that you care. I completely agree, but if you don't show that you care in one area, the least you can do is show that you care in other areas. I've seen people who don't even talk to their very close friends on their birthdays, not because they're busy or anything, and I wonder if there's something wrong, is it pride, or just forming hard guy or what? What's the point of celebrating if the people you care about aren't feeling it? Aside from thanking God for life, the next thing you should think about is your family and really close friends, because they should be grateful for your existence and how far God has kept you. Let's apply it to a different type of relationship, such as dating or marriage. There are times in a relationship when you must compromise for your spouse; you cannot simply say, "Because I am this way or this sort of person, he should understand," because it will not work; trust me, it will not work because what are you prepared to do for your partner? There are times you will have to go out of your way to make each other happy. You must always reassure an over thinker that everything is alright, especially if you are dealing with one. I gave an example of things you do for love or to show that you care. Once you're in a relationship, there will be things you enjoy that your partner doesn't, and vice versa. You'll have to come to an agreement, sometimes one has to give up something for the other not forcefully but as a sign of love. *Like I said before its not compulsory to wish someone on their birthday but ensure to show up in other ways if that person is truly someone who is close to you.* ****In conclusion**** Things works both ways you can't expect a one sided ship to work out, how will expect your friend or partner to be happy when you are not putting efforts into it, be it friendship or relationship or whatever ship it requires effort, constant care and support. Thank you for reading.💚
We are all doing great Hello everyone Did you go to church today? Let me give you a quick rundown of what the pastor preached today. He talked about unfeigned love today because it was a special program for home fellowship. Christians tend to form families within the church, so going to house fellowship helps you uphold your fellow members together, you can share your burdens together because the pastor won't be able to attend to everyone, and we should also love one another by supporting one another in any small way we can. **Please check out my sponsor** Let's get to it... I got today's topic from Burna Boy's live video, which was trending yesterday. The first thing I'll say is that this world, and the people who live in it, have been made extremely competitive. No one sets the competition; people simply decided to compete for no reason and with no benefit. For me, I enjoy both Burna Boy's , davido and Wizkid's songs; I don't care who is this or that; I know they are all great artistes; however, my issue is with this competition of a thing; I don't see why we need to compete between riches; they are all extremely wealthy, and they work hard; anyone would be happy to be in their position, so I don't see why there's a need to compete. Competition abounds in schools, homes, churches, among gitls, among guys and a variety of other setting which leads to beef between people or hatred sometimes. Same goes for football. To me, Messi and Ronaldo are both great people who have accomplished a lot in football. I don't see the point in debating who is better or who has accomplished more. Can't we just acknowledge that they are both great people? (I'm not going to say anything more about it so they don't come after me.😂) In churches nowadays people are competing, showing off one thing or the other or trying to select class, in schools too. Even among ourselves everyone wants to ahead of another, the best dressed among girls or the best cars among guys. Everyone just seems to be pressured to compete which leads people to going to the extreme to win that's why you see in things like election they kill people so they can win or even do other evil acts just to gain power. ***We should be happy about our little achievement too you are using a small phone today, tomorrow things can change. Let's try to celebrate our small wins and stop competing with people for wrong reasons, I think everyone deserves to be acknowledged for their work. You are doing great😊.*** Thank you for reading.💚
Are you motivated or jealous? Hello there, everyone. Saturday is my favorite day of the week because I get to relax and enjoy having the entire day to myself (sometimes it can be busy). The lack of light is making me hesitant to accomplish anything; my phone was running low this morning; if it weren't for gen, I wouldn't be able to write; and the fuel scarcity or price isn't helping matters. I'm not sure why we still have problems with light in this country, but we're hoping things will improve. We would have seen a lot of motivational quotes or tweets, but I'd want to focus on the two that I came across. We all want to be successful in life, to be pleased with ourselves and some other things, but life will hit you, and it will hit you differently depending on the person. The path to success differs from person to person, but you will still succeed if you put in the effort. It will take time, hard work, God, consistency, and other factors. Along your path to success you see your friends or people around you making it before you do, then it starts to bother you. I believe the issue we should ask is whether it motivates me to try further or if you are simply jealous. There are so many people I admire for how hard they have worked to get to the point where they are now, we may not see the problems behind them but they keep pushing forward, such as Sharon ooja, Nancy isime, and so many others I can't even begin to name. It's made better by the fact that they're both women. Although society often tries to pin a successful woman's success on a man, such as the recent Nancy and a married man scandal, which I won't go into, I believe some women have built their careers from the ground up, and it's painful when people don't recognize the hard work they've put in and try to tag it to men. I'd say I have a large number of them who inspire and motivate me, particularly during these tough times. For the second one, to be honest I will say its perfectly normal to be jealous but when you let that jealousy turn into something else you are only shooting yourself in the leg because you lose focus on what you are supposed to be facing and your mind is now fixated on that person's life. There are a lot of people making it in my age range or even younger today and trust me it pushes me to keep trying cause there are times I want to give up, but what thing I noticed is they are consistent and they all started somewhere or small. **Our time is coming, I am 100% sure of that and you will be shocked how big you will grow, let's keep trusting God.** Thank you for reading. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Are we even safe? Hello there, everyone. Do you feel safe? I'm not sure if it's just me, but whenever I hear about someone being kidnapped or killed, I feel sad. However, there are times when I don't feel like going out because I'm afraid, but I still have to go out and continue with life. I dislike public transportation because of its roughness, discomfort, and insecurity. Even though I don't know how to drive yet, I constantly say that if I have enough money, I will buy my own car. Everyone is struggling for this money of a thing, but people are going to extremes to get it. There have been so many issues of killing and kidnapping recently. I'm sure you've heard about the BRT case involving the man that kidnapped a young lady; I know it's been going on for a while, but I simply want to address it now. When I found out she was kidnapped inside BRT and she later passed on because of what they did to her, I was really shocked because out of all the transport services I feel more comfortable in BRT and uber/bolt before but not anymore, like literally nowhere is safe again you can't say you just want to go somewhere without the fear of something happening to you. What irritates me the most about the BRT issue is the people who try to find an excuse for everything. After we learned she had died because she had been missing for a while, I saw some messages with warnings and things like "assuming she did this and that"," she was supposed to be alert and not pressing phone"and other such things. Assuming she didn't message her friend nobody would have even know it was inside brt she went missing People began to say things that irritated me because why should we be afraid to go about our daily lives? Of course, it was at night, and not everyone can afford a car, or even order a bolt, which isn't safe either, and we all have things to do, such as go to work or school, and we use all of these modes of transportation on a daily basis, so our safety is meant to be secured for things like that. I understand that accidents cannot be avoided, but they can be minimized, which is why there are safety rules and regulations in place. However, when it comes to killing and kidnapping, we should not overlook the act itself; a person was killed, so whether she was careful or not, it is the act of them killing that we should focus on; similarly, people are quick to judge just like a rape case, a certain percentage of people are quick to blame the dressing and not the person ripping the cloth. Well, since nearly nowhere is safe, we can only place our lives in God's hands and be more prayerful, despite everything, we will still have to continue with life. We can only hope that things will improve. I pray her soul rest in perfect peace🕊 Thank you for reading.💚
One of those days.... Hello there, everyone. It's been a while, and another week has begun; I wish that this week brings us many blessings, Amen. I woke up with the impression that I didn't want to do anything or even talk to anyone, that I just wanted to be alone until the next day, and I had no idea why. But i guess its just one of those days. My school is having NUGA (Nigerian university games association)games this year, which is strange because this is the first time I've heard of them. They put in a lot of effort with the renovations and everything. I wanted to go and watch because I don't live far from school, but going alone isn't really fun, so I just watch online. I pray with all the bants and all we should sha carry many gold medals.😂 We all have bad days from time to time. We just want to withdraw from everyone or sit and do nothing; sometimes we know why we feel this way, and sometimes we don't. There are instances, though, when we are left with no choice but to continue with our day. This is especially true for people who work; your supervisor will not appreciate hearing about whatever occurred to you. I remember when I was learning under someone and there were days when I didn't want to go or didn't feel good at that point, but I forced myself to go because she would complain and I wasn't ready to listen to it all. When my sister complained about not wanting to go to work because of one thing or another, I remember, "Can't she just tell her boss?" and she responded, "It's a whole lot of process." Because of where she works. So, most of the time, we are left with little or no choice, and one thing to remember is that when you are not happy with yourself, your entire mood changes, and how you work changes as well, especially if you are dealing with clients, and you may end up passing aggressiveness onto them. People often advise that if you don't feel good about yourself, you should do this or that. It's easy to say something, but it's not always easy to do it or make it work. **Please check out my sponsor** Well for me today I ended up doing little work today even though I just sat on my bed till 11am without even carrying my phone and trying to process how I am feeling. All I can say is we all have bad days and just do what works for you, there's always going to be something that keeps pushing you everyday. For those working it can be money, it could even be someone you look forward to seeing everyday. Those bad days won't last, so let's keep smiling.😊 Thank you for reading.💚
Strike:- What's your next move? Good morning, everyone. How are things going for you? It's a new dawn, a new day, and a new week, and I'm hoping for the best. I'm not sure how or when it will happen, but I'm confident that my breakthrough is near, so if you're waiting on God for something, you can join your faith with mine. I woke up this morning to see that the university strike has been extended for another eight weeks (2months). I honestly didn't know how to feel about it because, before the strike started, I didn't want it at all; I wanted us to have completed at least the first semester, despite the fact that we had so much work at the time, but I didn't mind going through that stress and getting it over with. This country's government, I'm not sure what plan they have for their people or if they even care, but this strike by ASUU (Academic Staff Union of Universities) has turned it into a norm that they strike every year and then reach an agreement with the government, and most universities under ASUU have been operating in that system for a while now, and it's really saddening that you go for a 5-year course and have no idea when you'll finish. When you leave school, the same system is seeking for young fresh graduates between the ages of 24-27 with 1 or 2 years of experience, and I'm always curious how they expect all of us this to be possible, we as the students are the ones who suffers it the most. Before, I was genuinely upset about it because I wanted to my Bsc. on time and move on with my life, but at this point, I've given up on that because I know I'll finish eventually, regardless of the strike. There are always two sides to every story; yes, the strike is preventing us from progressing, but let's look at the bright side. **Please check out my sponsor** Things you can do this period:- 1. **Learn one or two skills**: Many people want to learn something to better themselves, but they don't have the time. Now is one of the best times to do so. 2. **Start a business**: It could be a clothing line, shoes, or even hair styling, and it doesn't have to be anything big, but anything that can fetch you money. 3. **Self-care**: This is also the time to focus on yourself if you were stressed out or even depressed during the school year, now is the time to work on yourself. 4. **School work**: You can use this time to complete all of your schoolwork and read as well, which will help you cope with the stress of having to read nine courses in a short period of time. ***If I am able to achieve one or two of these things that I mentioned, i will be so happy, I just advise that we make good use of this period, we can't get time back*** Thank you for reading. 😊
Effective planning Hello there, everyone. How's it going? I've been delaying a lot recently, even with schoolwork and writing, which is one of the reasons why staying at home will simply make me relaxed. Have you ever struggled with what to give someone as a gift? This happens to me all the time because I'm always worried what if they don't like it (of course they won't tell you if they don't), but there are some basic gifts that are really thoughtful, perhaps something general, it could even be skincare products or food itself, the packaging will just make it better, or sometimes I just opt for money. Okay, for today's topic, I'd want to discuss effective planning. You must plan ahead of time to avoid being caught off guard. Personally, I appreciate it when I am prepared for anything, because I know that if I plan ahead, I will be ready for the worst as well as the best. Although things do not always go according to plan, but being prepared offers you a certain level of confidence. ***Please check out my sponsor*** Everything, including marriage, necessitates planning; you must know how to pay your bills, what kind of lifestyle you want to live, and how you will handle things when your children arrive. You plan for your wedding before you get married as well. You work out your budget, how many guests you expect, what you want for music and food, and so on. You prepare for school as well, saying things like, "I want to study this," or "I need to improve on a specific weakness to earn this score." You even plan ahead from school at times; I'd like to work in this type of company and everything. You won't just jump into a business without preparing if you want to start one. You must first understand what a business comprises, as well as certain details such as:- 1. **Your target audience**:- who are the people you want to attract, is it the low income earners, children, men, women, high income earners etc. 2. **Branding & Packaging**:- Your brand/business name, you should use something that people will recognize that its you and its also advisable to use a simple name so in case you want to switch from selling shoes to bags you can just add it to the end. 3. **Niche**:- for fashion brands, what kind of styles do you want to be making be it corporate, traditional and the likes. 4. **Profit**:- we have different profit levels, 25%,50%,75% & 100%, this work when you know your target audience if you get high income earners you can go for 100% profit. ***Good planning helps your life to be organized although life doesn't really go according to plan, but when you are fully prepared you won't be shaken when one or two things falls out of place.*** Quick question ***How do you source for capital for a business? (Like without collecting loan)*** Thank you for reading.💚
Sugar rush Hello there, everyone. Happy International Women's Day to every woman out there. As we all know, March 8th is a day set aside to honor women's social, political, and economic accomplishments, as well as how we battled for human rights. Why do we need to commemorate International Women's Day? We've wanted to be heard and do more for a long time. You barely see women in leadership jobs back then, and there's even a place where they don't allow women to drive cars (I'm not sure if this is still the case), and there's a salary disparity known as the gender pay gap. When it comes to healthcare, many women die during childbirth or suffer from other ailments, but I am glad to see that things are changing now, we see women taking over everywhere And doing great at it. Kudos goes to every man out there that supports in every way they can. ❤ Let's get started. From the topic sugar rush, is when you suddenly feel excited or full of energy after having eaten food with a lot of sugar in it. Children are the ones who get this the most, which is why they are always active when they get a sugar rush and start jumping. So this night, I was so excited and full of energy that I didn't even take anything with too much sugar. I'm not sure where all the excitement is coming from, but one thing I can say is that when you're in this state, you just want to do everything, and sometimes you don't think straight because everything seems right at that moment. This reminds me of the Nigerian film "SUGAR RUSH," in which four sisters discovered a large sum of money at a chief's house where a party was scheduled to be held, but when they arrived, they found people dead on the floor and saw money, so they carried it home and at that moment they were not doing well financially . When they got home after the fear and all, they counted the money and realized it was something that could change their lives, and they felt a sugar rush. They were so excited that they couldn't think straight at first, and they began spending the money lavishly, throwing parties and buying everything, they didnt even think of starting a business to keep the money coming even though its not theirs😂, but let me stop there because they got themselves into a big mess, but they eventually got themselves out of it. **Please check out my sponsor** It's wonderful to be happy and excited; we've all had countless moments like that. However, we should be aware of our actions so that we don't do more than we should and later regret it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚
God's time is the best Hello everyone I hope we're doing well? I haven't written since last month😂, and aside from a lack of inspiration and such, I haven't had much time and i have been procrastinating and such, and I just figured that a lot can happen in a week. Let's get to it.... We're all working for money so that we can keep up with life, and there are instances when we go out of our way to gain money or something material. I'm not sure whether this is unique to me, but let me offer an example: you may want to acquire a wig, but the one you really want is fairly expensive and you can't afford it at the time, so you start saving for it as if you truly want it, and you work towards it, with any money you get it goes towards getting that wig. But at some point, you decide that instead of going with that option, you'd rather go with something less expensive but still of good quality. When you eventually get it, the excitement remains, but as you open the package and see what's inside, you either don't like it or feel like you've wasted your money and time or it isn't what you expected. Please check out my sponsor Another example is that people who shop a lot online tend to spend a lot of time surfing the Internet from one vendor to another looking for something that meets all of their requirements within a certain budget, and then they just pick one, perhaps because they can't afford the one they really want or simply because they didn't see one that met those requirements. Then, after obtaining that dress or shoe or whatever, you later find one that satisfies all of your needs in terms of design, materials, and other factors, and you begin to regret not doing this or that. This happens to me all the time And sometimes i just see it as waste of money cause i might not end up using that thing and ***it also made me realize that the thing's we are always craving for or in a rush to get sometimes are at the wrong time and for the wrong purpose, we always want to be ahead of ourselves, moving faster than what we can take. Its best to be patient and let God lead us, God doesn't gives us something's at some certain point because his time is the best and he sees ahead of us.*** Its just like those people that out of nowhere they just blow on the Internet, maybe because of a video someone posted about them and their life just change through that process, they might been struggling seriously in the past, but because God said it's their time that's why they make because its not everyone that makes it through social media. In God's time everything will fall in place😊. Thank you for reading.💚
"All of us are dead" Hello everyone. We say things like "I can't eat this food," "I can't watch that movie," and so on, but we usually end up changing our minds about them since change is constant. Which brings me to my topic.. I used to say that I don't fancy Korean films and that I cant watch them and it has been since secondary school, particularly Indian films of the zee world kind (I still don't watch zee world sha😂). However, I am now enjoying watching Korean films. I remember back then when my friends and some juniors would gist about zee world and the likes and I would just be looking because I didn't like it; I remember forcing myself to like it but it didn't work; it caused me and my friend to quarrel because I was yabbing those kind of movies and all, and she took it seriously, so we didn't talk the rest of the day. 😂 Reasons why I didn't enjoy those movies then:- They were too dramatic:- The suspense was high, especially in romantic sequences where a male holds a girl's hand and starts playing music and such. The anticipation was intense. Their films had a consistent pattern: there was always romance in their films, and there were always two males and a girl, and the girl always chose the first guy, I have not seen where the girl picks the second guy. You always know how things are going to turn out. However, my opinion of their films has altered recently, and this is partly due to the fact that they have substantially improved. Just like the current one I just finished watching "ALL OF US ARE DEAD", They have greatly improved, from their graphics effects, sound, story and basically everything is top notch, although I didn't like how it ended,my favorite character died (Cheong san), I know there's going to be season 2 so I am hoping there's going to be a twist. To be honest, the way Korean movies are now is just amazing, and their current movies are topping the list, with titles like Squid Game, Vicenzo, and others, their story lines are just mind-blowing. Vicenzo is still my favorite to this day because you never know what they are going to do next, and everything was just on point, it basically showed the power in politics. I am also in love with their lifestyle. 😊 A new thing I changed my mind about too is anime, I thought I will never watch it in my life, but here I am watching it, I haven't really explored it yet but I am opened to it. ***All I can say is not every time we stick to our words, we as humans are open to changes or i will say trying out new things and there's nothing wrong with change if its good, if you are open to it, you might grow to Like it and also make it your new thing.*** Thank You very much @Jumper-01 for your support so far, I really appreciate it❤ Thank you for reading.💚
Teacher in a day Hey guys😊 How was your week? Well for me its been good. I was a teacher for a day yesterday so I decided to write on it. My mom works in a school, and she told me yesterday that she wouldn't be able to teach since she needed to drop my brother off at school, so she asked me to cover for her for the day. So that morning, I had to get up early and I couldn't wear my comfy clothes, so I was a little anxious, despite the fact that they were primary school students. When I arrived in class, everyone were happy to see me (some of them knows me already). My mom had already given me work to give them, and the note was already on the board, so when I arrived, about 3 of them had already finished writing it because they had arrived early. I was surprised because they had already completed a work for about 1 hour, and I was concerned that what I had planned would not go as planned😂. I just chose to assign them another afternoon classwork, which they completed ahead of schedule. Because children do not stay in one spot for long periods of time, they began making reasons that they wanted to do this or that, and they were essentially simply playing. Then they started asking me questions, and I had to think quickly so I didn't answer anything inappropriate, then one of them asked me a hilarious question: "Why am I slim?" I laughed at first because she assumed I didn't eat, but then I said, "That's just the way I am." They were just so aware of everything, including my hair, nails, and other body parts, that they began interrogating me on them. They even questioned "can I beat?" because I didnt shout at them or anything and its my first time. I don't think i could even beat them with their cute faces. But I learned a lot from them: 1. ***They are Smart***:- Children, especially this generation, are extremely intelligent; they learn quickly and comprehend concepts beyond your expectations. 2. ***They are very Observant***:- This is why I advise people to be careful what they say and do around children; they are watching everything and remembering it. 3. ***They are always happy***:- A child does not necessarily require anyone to play; children naturally find joy within themselves; they play with anything they see and it brings them joy; they were all making me smile yesterday. 4. ***They forgive***: You can offend a child, he will cry and may refuse to play with you again, but you will notice that child returning to meet you within an hour or even less. They were battling for the majority of yesterday, and as you know, when kids quarrel, the next thing you hear is "I won't play you again." After about 5 minutes, they both apologized and began playing. ***Children are the sweetest people on the planet, and they will always be a blessing, but all I can say is to let them be kids. They learn as they play and fight, and you should just keep an eye on them and be careful what you say around them. Its also not easy to be a teacher or parent basically anyone in charge of children cause it requires your full attention***. Thank you for reading.💚
Third mainland bridge Hey guys, February is slowly leaving o and I'm just realizing how quickly time flies, especially as you get older. I'll just say make the most of it because you can't get that time back, and be careful what you do because you can't rewrite the past, only the future and present. For today's article, I'd like to take a trip down memory lane to see how my life has flashed before my eyes. I wrote an article about one of my scariest moments, which you can read here. https://read.cash/@Seni/one-of-my-scariest-moments-8aac43d3 So let's get started. I generally go to the market on Saturdays, and whenever we need to buy a lot of stuff, we go to the eko market (Lagos market). So on that fateful Saturday morning, my sister and I were already getting ready to go the market, and my mother usually reminds us to keep our money safe because we've had so many robberies in that market. I dislike public transportation because of its roughness and all, and if I had my way and means, I would get my own car😂. However, after going around the market, shopping, and all, it was time to return home. We would have taken BRT if we had gotten one and I wouldn't mind standing for a while, but we didn't, so we boarded a regular bus (Danfo) on our way, and you know how reckless this drivers are, he was speeding and everyone was telling him to slow down, but he didn't listen, and when we got to the third mainland bridge, one of the tyres burst, and we moved from the center to the edge of the bridge, We would have entered water if he hadn't been able to control it, so when he finally did, we were all asked to come down, and due to my fear of water, I was looking down into the water and imagining all sorts of things that I can't swim o😂, so out of fear, I told my sister to make us enter another bus on the bridge, but none stopped for us, so the driver was able to fix another tyre, then one man simply encouraged us to enter. **Please check out my sponsor** Funny how this same thing happened to me and my sister again but we were 3 this time and on the same bridge and it was on a Saturday also, for a while I was scared of passing that bridge because you know it happened twice so I was scared of the third time but thank God it didn't happen again so anytime I pass that bridge I always pray, I thank God it wasn't worse than that and we are fine, you know at that moment you are God is it my time😂. I Also noticed that bridge is shaking cause i stood on it the cars passing and all so everything was just somehow. Thank you for reading💚
Signs that someone likes you Hey guys😊 Its Saturday, one of my favorite days. So after a busy week, I still rushed home to attend to something quickly (jamb registration). It's been a while since I did that, so I can't really remember some things, and it changes sometimes, so my brother and I were basically walking up and down to find a center that was registering today, only for them to tell us we wouldn't be able to register until next week due to a minor jamb error, and my leg still hurts from not having done it in a while (they thought I look like one of the people registering for jamb😂) So I saw this video on tiktok where a lady gave some tips on how to tell if someone really likes you. I can't say they're all true because I haven't considered them, but I'm going to base my article on them. Please check out my sponsors ****Weirdness surrounding current or past love interest****: If you want to know if that person likes you, talk to them about past relationships or crushes. If they don't go into detail or are weird about it, it's because they want you or want it to be you, or they try to make their previous relationship not seem special or like a big deal. ****How they interact with you on social media:****- Pay attention to how they interact with you on social media; if they like you, they'll add you to numerous platforms and want to engage with you as a way in; if they don't add you or say they're not on it, they're probably not interested. I understand that some individuals avoid social media for various reasons, but it may be frightening when you look for someone and they are not on any social media platform, and you begin to suspect them. ****Their body position when you walk into a room****: Keep an eye on the person's body position if it changes when you walk into a room They like you if the person's body position changes. For this, I can say that your attractiveness draws their attention, causing them to modify their body position, which is usually done unintentionally. ****Act different in your presence:-**** This doesn't mean the person is acting, but when you're around them or even see them from afar, they act differently. Some are nervous, and if you notice their speech isn't as smooth as it is when they're around other people. ***Everyone has different ways of showing care or love for someone, this is just a tiktokers opinion on it, maybe from now I will start watching out😂, you should check it out too, but sometimes, some signs can be misleading too, so stay safe out there.*** Have a lovely night.💚
Football (both games and fun) Hello everyone. I've been off for a while now, and my school is currently on strike, which I did not want, but what can I do? And with that, it made me relax and all, so my department had HOD games this week, so that's what's been keeping me busy, and today is the finals, so I'm writing this in the morning and will finish it when we win the cup at night. I'm going to tell you about my week and ask also answer questions and relate it to football. Please check out my sponsors 1. ***What makes a team effective?*** A team is made up of numerous elements, including members, a leader, open communication, and goals. As in football, each player has a specific role to play, such as striker, defender, goalkeeper, and there must be open communication. As a team, you must know how to work together and recognize when your teammates are attempting to communicate with you on the field through passes. Every team has a goal, and footballers' goals are to win or score against their opponents. Is it about the competition or the fun? Football is not only a sport for competition, but i also see it as sport for fun, because you get to expend your energy, and there are so many intense moments and all; the match we played yesterday was so intense that I felt like I was the one playing the penalty, but we won that match. Another issue is that the competition is on the field, you make game, game and every other thing should be normal, and during the match it got to the point where we were upset and just yelling things to each other, but I guess that's part of it. As a result, our coach always urges us to greet the opposing team, whether you loose or win, its just a sign of peace. So now it's night time, and the games are over; there were a lot of squabbles here and there, with everyone fighting for their rights, but it was all in good fun. We came in second place in the football match, despite the fact that the match was not fair. However, we are still the winning team, and I am confident that we will return stronger and better. Given that this was everyone's first time engaging in any sports, I'd say we all did well, and I'm hoping for more of that in the future. In conclusion, today was all fun, at least something asides from books, I also learnt from it, if you don't try you can't know the outcome. Have a great night.💚
Valentine's day experience Hello everyone Happy valentine's day❤ I simply want to relate some of my personal and possibly others' Valentine's Day stories. Valentine's Day is a day set aside for people to express their love for one another, but we've turned it into a holiday 😂 for couples and such. We always celebrated Valentine's Day in my secondary school, and you know it was kind of a big deal to us back then, even though we still had classes and all, but at night we held a valentine program where you start seeing people with their red and white (in our minds, it was cool, you know), and some guys had already bought gifts for their girlfriends or crushes and all. Then we were asked to choose persons with whom to exchange gifts, ensuring that everyone receives a gift and that you also get to give someone a gift (serving as a consolation prize for those who will not receive anything😂). That day, we just ate, danced, and the couples went out to see each other and exchange gifts, and when it was all over, the females normally went to their hostel first, followed by the boys, it was a rule. *Then comes the fun part: my friends and I will unwrap our gifts in the hostel that we traded, perhaps just one or two of us got from a crush, Then we start parading around the hostel, going from room to room to see what everyone receives, especially the seniors, because the guys always go crazy for them, and we'll just be saying "awww," and if we're lucky, we'll get something to eat from our school mothers' gifts. It was just another one of those amusing school experiences*. ***Please check out my sponsors*** ***2nd Experience*** This one comes from my school father, who recently shared about his valentine experience on his status, which was one of the worst he'd ever had in school. As I previously stated, Valentine's Day was a day we commemorated, and as boarders, we always made the most of whatever occasion we had. So his own school father had this babe on this valentine's day, and she bought him gifts like practically everything a secondary school student would have wanted, and he gave it to him to keep so he could go back and chill and everything. He went to dance with someone in the heat of the moment and decided to hide the present at a place no one could have imagined. Skip to the good part near the end of the program he went to check out the gift and realized it wasn't there and all, he started panicking because his school father only collected the gift and didn't get to check it out, so his friends just tried to console him and all that maybe His school father took it and everything. When they got to the hostel, he asked for it, and he thought he was whining him and all, but then things got serious, and his school father was enraged, saying how could he say he thought he took it and all because you know, he was really excited to show his friends the gift his babe got for him, and he punished him, saying he felt bad he had to go apologize to the girlfriend the next day, she was really pissed though cause She said she saved up for it and as a secondary school student that was a lot. Since then he said drink alcohol wisely😂. Yeah I didn't mention, he took alcohol. ***Well everyone will have or has had different experiences with valentine's day, well mine is quite boring, I hope yours is good, show love to someone today😊*** Thank you for reading
Does being good pay off? Hey guys The week is coming to an end, I will say it was stressful because of the loads of assignment I have, but some part were good. I like the fact that the days are going fast or is it just in my head?😂 yeah, we had practice today for football, I ended up embarrassing myself again😂, but it was fun. So many people have told me that being a decent girl doesn't pay off or that you will lose in the end. It's probably due to personal experience, and I completely understand. *I've heard comments like, "What's the point of being a decent person in general?" since you'll only be used and people will only perceive you in one way*. This idea came from @Debbyanffy96, who talked about how nice females complain about getting the bad guys and wonder if they're doing something wrong. I won't claim I'm a good girl, but I grew up in a household where we were constantly admonished "NOT TO" in practically every facet of our life. You should know that Nigerian parents pressure you into marriage at a particular age, and you wonder how you're supposed to go about it. And most good girls have the mentality that because they are good, they will attract the right kind of guy (Mr Right). However, only a few will be lucky enough to attract someone like that, while the rest will have to make a lot of mistakes before they figure out how things work. It requires self improvement, good communication, patience and other qualities in a relationship to make it work, and you must grow and shed that mentality because life is not how it appears in your thoughts; you should learn more about life, cause relationship requires a lot of attribute asides being just good and then your prayers will serve as a support. *Please check out my sponsors* I won't argue that the people we claim are "bad people" always get the good men, but I will say that they do in the majority of cases. Being a decent person is the correct thing to do, but there are so many other things that come with it, I know so many people who have changed because they felt the world did not make them feel good for being good, a bad person can do something wrong and totally go away with it they might even hail you for it, but for a good person its the other way. Asides from Even letting the world treat you right, I feel its just right to be good and its not stressful cause it saves you from a lot of trouble and all. Notice:- using the terms good and bad doesn't mean you doing something different makes you bad or you doing something normal makes you good, I cant really judge, but I used it because its how we see it or what we mostly use. We make mistakes we learn and we grow from them too. ***Yes, I understand that being good can be frustrating at times because people may push you to the edge and you will change, but I also understand that it pays off in some ways.*** Thank you for reading💚
