As You Go About Your Day, Remember To
Tell yourself ‘I am so proud of you for making it this far’ – no other person better than you can tell your story. It has been you and yourself from the very first day you existed. You’ve struggled through life battles; lost some, won some and you’re alive still struggling for a much better life. A lot of person’s didn’t make it this far, some worked even more than you do yet they couldn’t achieve what you have. You should at least compliment yourself (of course having giving the first praise to the maker) for what you’ve achieved. Being proud of yourself is a bad only if we do it excessively so once in a while tell yourself that you’ve done well. Take pride in yourself.
Do at least one nice thing for yourself each day – we go around doing all sort of things trying to be nice to people and then feeling all excited when others call us nice girl or nice guy. We focus so much on pleasing other people without actually taking out time to please and be nice to ourselves. You tell other people after making a mistake that ‘it’s only but a mistake let it go and move on’ but when you make a mistake; you beat yourself up too hard. C’mon we shouldn’t do that. You, matter a lot. Treat yourself nicely.
The first person you need to be loyal to is yourself - loyalty is a top value word for many and shown when you strongly support and allegiance to a person or organization. It is a great quality one could have but this lofty attribute stinks like slime if you betray yourself to prove loyalty to others. Like for real?? Yea relationships with others is good but the most important is the relationship with yourself. Why do things that are detrimental to your wellbeing because you are trying to prove something to someone else? Taking care of you is not selfish! You should do same for you can’t control people’s thoughts plus as you know humans are not satisfied. Why would I then go against myself to prove to someone that might end up going against me if I make a mistake? I will never do that ever. You should too.
Focus more on being your own source of happiness – it is important you discover yourself and make yourself happy instead of relying on someone else to do that for you. Learn to be contented with what you have and don’t wait until a boyfriend or girlfriend comes along before you’re happy. If the latter is what you do I ask you, what will then happen to you when they leave? You would be jumping to another? lol
Asking for help and accepting it will change your life – this is a part that I also need to learn from. For a very long time, I’ve always had this thought that receiving aids from someone out of the family is a sign of weakness and a point where people would use against you sooner or later so I tried to avoid any form of help rendered to me and if I’m in a point where I had no choice but to accept, I subconsciously become tensed looking for ways to repay the favour so that I don’t feel indebted at all. This might be true in a way but most of the time in my interactions I’ve realized that someone lending a hand does not mean he/she is expecting anything in return like I feared. They are people who cheerful givers who give because they care so rejecting something it is very wrong and hurtful. The scenario of telling my destiny helper when it he/she comes unknown to me that ‘I don’t need anything’ whereas they are a lot is frightening lol.
Life is short. Tell people you love them – this fact is what we try our best to ignore but the truth remains that no one knows the day and time where he/she would exit this world. So why would you keep those feelings in your heart only and risk the uncertainty of whether you’re loved in return or not? Let it out already. Tell them how much you care about them and enjoy the moments you’ll share. No one knows tomorrow.
I’ve been away for a while infact this is my first article for the month of July. I’ve really missed reading and interacting with interesting articles. I’m happy to be back although not fully.

A Message From June
Hello my dearies. How are you doing? Well for me I’m sad because today marks the last day that I will be in the year 2022. I’ve already started missing a lot of things already. So now before I leave you all in this realm, I’d like to give my last words which you reading this should stick to your heart like a bond for what about to say to you is very important and useful in every phase of your life. In few words, **FIGHT! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT.** You must be wondering, why would June the lover of peace advise us to Fight? Hold up chill. You’ll understand soon.
What does it mean to fight The Good Fight and where does it originate from?

Fighting the good fight is a phrase that was originated from the bible where an Apostle named Paul was Addressing another Apostle named Timothy in I Timothy 6:12 saying `‘fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses’`
This phrase has a lot of definitions but we will quickly run through just 2
To fight the good fight means to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love perseverance and commitment to the cause of God in the face of hostility
It also means to do the right thing and encourage others to do the same; helping others to make good choices for the betterment of humanity.
The good fight in this article is a little modification of the second definition which is ‘`knowing what is right and standing by it not allowing anyone to intimidate you to do otherwise and doing what you have to do to defend your stance’` and these is what we will be focusing on.
Life has got a lot of battles that it throws to you humans; your ability to be able to fight the good fight will tell if you will ever enjoy real freedom, peace and stand the test of time. These battles are not fought by external bodies but by your fellow humans. There are people ravaging all over the earth seeking for those to humiliate, annoy and put under their leash and control and these people are everywhere in your workplace, neighbourhood etc. deriving their joy by seeing you miserable and unhappy and that’s why you need to defend yourself against people like this even though not necessarily but not restricting physically.
Peace is a good thing that everyone desires but I tell you lasting peace is actually gotten from a form of disagreement. You disagree to come to a truce later on. Keeping the peace doesn’t mean sitting back and allowing people take advantage of you. It is actually foolishness to do that. Do not keep shut when issues are arising. Address the issue almost immediately after it arises, for the more quiet you are the more momentum these forces gather and very soon, the situation will become something you won’t be able to handle then you’d have no choice but to bow to whatever that has been imposed on you.
Learn to speak up! Do not let people force you to accept their beliefs. Fight the good fight for yourself and others. Most of these people who do these things have an intimidating aura around them so they don't expect you to stand up to them. When you do what they least expect by fighting the good fight, you offset them and they eventually leave you alone to enjoy your peace and freedom.
Fight the Good Fight for it is right never forget that.

Things You Will never be taught in school but need to know.
A message from June
A school is where we gain knowledge of different kind but what if the knowledge we are ti acquire is restricted to just school only? My God that will be a disaster lol. Imagine the school teaching how to kiss and all of those things jeez. Anyways here are some things that ain't taught in school yet your progress depends on them.
**Spotting a Scam** - How to spot a swindler is never in a school's curriculum. One way you know how to identify a scam is when you have been gullible (Being duped or scammed) at least once. Sure you'll hear stories about scams but our head but what ifs won't allow us to take heed of this advise until one falls victim to it. Indeed it's one of the few lesson in life that must be learnt by experience.
**Negotiation** - This is so very important.Life can either be tough or easy based on ones ability to negotiate. It holds the key to getting ahead in the workplace, business, resolving conflict and creating value for oneself. One has to learn how to negotiate if not one would keep getting less than what is expected. At the place i currently i extern as a data scientist i was told by other staffs that previously externs do not get paid. They were only giving transport fare and a few benefits but mine is different. I always smile whenever they say this to me knowing fully well that God and the negotiation power made the huge difference. Talking about it the flashback of how i faced the Director in his office that fateful day is playing in my head lol. That's an article for another day. What's important is that know your worth and be a good negotiator you'll always make a difference.
**Self-defence -** This is important especially in times that we are in yet A school do not teach this. One has to learn how to defend him/herself in times of danger either verbally or physically because life is tough out there and self defence will always come handy when the time **comes.**
**Socialising & Networking** - How to be a Social Butterfly is never seen as a Topic in school yet it determines the level of interaction with our fellow humans. If you're social, you get to make a lot of friends get to know people and people get to know to you. This friends you make either in person or online becomes a network of people. The network of people one has can determine or aid one's success and growth in life. This is what am working on personally for I'm an introvert and also an extrovert amongst my close pals. I want to socialise some more this year and make more friends.
**Household Repairs** - I know that they are people who are trained in school specially for this but yet everyone has to be an engineer in his/her small little way. You don't want to be calling the house repair guy if a wire go out of place or if your household item develops a small fault that you could easily fix on your own or else you're in for a ride to spend a lot of money
**Balance** - Maintaining a balance life is very important for one's personal life and well being especially in this modern world. There's a lot we want to do as humans. We want to make money, we want to be happy, we want to have beautiful relationships, we want to travel, we want to have good health and many other wishes we have. As we go after the things we desire with all that we have, we should remember to strike a balance because we can get so distracted that we forget other important things. You can't have it all but you can have it all by living a balance life. (I hope you understand this statement though).
**Coping with Harsh Realities** - Like i said earlier, life is tough. Only the tough can survive! Anyone can be tough but then since life is what we make of it, we make a choice whether to be tough or be a weakling. When the train of life hits one, it paralyse one for a moment if not a long time. Its okay to cry when that happens for it is not advisable to keep one's emotions bottled up. It doesn't mean you're a weakling it actually means you're strong. Do that and be hopeful. Things will get better!
**Forgiveness** - Forgiveness is needed if we are to forge ahead. There are things that happen so that we learn and adjust our view towards life. Taking our past with us by being unforgiving is like carrying a heavy load on ourselves even after learning from it. Why take an extra baggage that will stall you when there's an option to let go of it? Lesson Learnt Forgive Move On
**Expect the Unexpected**- This is one of the things i placed at the back of my mind from the beginning of this year. Expect the Unexpected. Always be ready for what's coming whether good or bad. Keep an open mind for anything is bound to happen. Success is sweeter when you're not expecting it even if you've worked so hard

5 Things You Need to Stop Doing From This Month On
**From June Day 27**
Hello everyone in this part of the world! I hope you have been experiencing good health prosperity and other things I came along with. Although I’ve been getting mixed reactions; some people excited and happy while the others sad because of the swift change of the weather amongst other reasons.
Well, i kind of understand for I’m not a pleaser of anyone but I just hope those who are experiencing the not so pleasant attributes endure and the others who are at the pleasant end keep enjoying *after all every beginning has an end.* Talking about time and beginnings and endings, I’m afraid and sad that my days here are almost over. I’ve got barely 3days left for me to go away to return in year 2023.
Before I go I’ve noticed some acts that are so unnecessary yet you humans take so serious to your own detriment.
Here is a list of things that you all should let me take along with me.
**FEAR OF CHANGE** – I hear that this constituent a phobia named Metathesiophobia where people go through panic attacks, depression, fatigue, pain and other symptoms when faced with new situations and experiences. What is Fear of change by the way? A typical example will explain better.
“Selina is in a toxic relationship. Her boyfriend hits her at every opportunity he gets and then later comes to apologize with gift items probably to appease her. Her friends have advised her to take a walk out of the relationship and she also knows that they are right as her life is on the line but yet Selina will always say ‘I *have dedicated 5 years of my life in this relationship, how then do I start over again with another person from scratch? Moreover I don’t want to experience the single life again!”*
Another example is that of Alex who is very good on the job with a perfect certificate but is stucked with a job that makes him miserable *because he’s afraid to quit as getting a job this days is pretty hard at the detriment of his psyche.*
In these two scenarios, both Alex and Selina know that what they are in is bad for them but yet they can’t come out because of the fear of change which is also the fear of the unknown. This is something that you shouldn’t be doing. You should learn to face your fears headon and embrace whatever possibilities it brings forth. Fear is an enemy of mankind. It only comes to you when you feed it in the sense that you begin to worry. It then overwhelms such a person. Don’t Feed Fear!
**GOSSIPPING ABOUT OTHERS** – gossiping about others is wrong. It does not only waste your time but also is detrimental to you. When you point a finger to one, the remaining four is pointed towards you. It’s not a coincidence at all. Whatever you say about another person is what you’ll become eventually. You can go read up and see the power of your thoughts.
**WORRYING ABOUT THINGS WE CAN’T CONTROL** – an aftermath of this is the main cause of the ‘fear of change’. why do you have to worry about something that you do not have control over? This act of humans surprises me a lot! There’s no need to worry since you’re not a partaker of a decision making process. You just need to have faith in your maker, do your bids and let the decision makers give its ruling. Whatever the outcome maybe, accept in good faith. Whether you worry or not the decision makers would still decide anyway so why worry and put your health in danger?
**ALWAYS WANTING WHAT OTHERS HAVE** – ahh here comes the wannabe’s. It’s ok to dream or aspire to be like someone and try to work towards it but its not okay if you lust after what someone has to an extent that you want to go extra mill just to have it. Social media especially Instagram is not helping matters at the number of people living fake lives posting to the camera are much more than the genuine ones influencing other people who are not satisfied with what they have to want to emulate. The end game of all these is never pleasant.
**CHASING PERFECTIONALISM** – the way you humans think is baffling. What is perfection other than the one the maker has given to you? The image you have is a perfect image yet you humans likes to recreate yourself to suit your own adulterated perfection. Do not seek after man made perfection. Stop being too critical on yourself! Setting false standards from other people. Appreciate yourself!
**I believe you’ve learnt from these and will finally let go of this mediocre attributes to me so I can trash it on my next travel. Thank you and till we meet again tomorrow.**

Flying Without Wings
This title was actually extracted from a song by Westlife band which is a good song that I like, but this article focuses on something different which I think the phrase ‘flying without wings’ describes perfectly.
It amazes me how people want to do or aspire to be a particular thing but try so hard to avoid following the due process or procedure, thinking that they are superman or superwoman capable of taking a quantum leap from bottom to the top. You want to win a game, but you do not want to play by the set rules. You rather create anew one like you own the game.
An eagle that is not daft enough to try to fly just like its peers when it's just a month old. procedure, its kind is the most powerful animal in the air, but that won't excuse it from crashing down if it tries to skip the process of developing all that Yes, needs before it , but.
People try to fly without wings in many areas of their OT maybe because of a stereotype they've got in their mind and some even do it without even knowing. Here are some major areas people fly without wings

1. One Only Saves When There's Abundance But Try To Survive When There's Little: A lot of people have this notion and have so many reasons to back it upflies lives, tell you it's actually not true. How? If you only learn to survive when there's little, you didn't learn to save from the little you , but how then will you be able to save when there's abundance? Let's say a person who has been surviving from the little he or she has and then boom someone ab alert of millions in his or her bank account. For sure the person would think of saving some funds but would he/she be able to I it?
The percentage is close to a Zero.

In no distant time he/she will be aiming for more actualize as the money previously received is not as huge as perceived earlier. The person will continue to survive and end up not , he expecting bigger funds. This goes on and on.
2. I Will Give When There's Abundance - money, think I've talked about this in one of my articles. It's logical not to give when you have little savings, that ain't an excuse for not giving at all. One can give in a little way. A friend of mine was telling me about her boyfriend and how she takes care of things in the relationship because he's not too stable yet. When I asked., but she's doing that again. She said because she loves himI he has given her enough assurance that he'll do even more for her once his stable. I smiled inwardly and Why asked again. How do you this? And she said because He told her so. That's when , and said you believed what wordsIwhat about action? She was mute. I'm not a fan of dating for material gain even though it's not bad if he has itI in this case it is actually not wise for her to believe just words. I asked her if he has ever bought her chocolates before, ice cream, Cologne or any small item his money can buy and there was no reply which meant he hasn't done that. Then . said How then do you expect him to give you the world when he hasn't given you as little as these things?
Everything in life starts small. We don't just suddenly learn how walk; we started by crawling first, taking baby steps to stand and fall and then we started using the wall or something else as a support when we walk and finally we no longer needed the support as we could now walk on our own. And if you can't , but that attitude when you have I then you won't do it when you have enough.

School Ain’t Scam – You Just Expect too much
This slang “`las las school na scam”` meaning school is scam is a trend that is in the mouths and hearts of a lot of youths in my country Nigeria; discouraging education which is known to be the light in the dark which is needed for growth and development of a particular country or state. It is worrisome that the teens a are becoming laxed and not putting as much efforts as they should in school and using this trend and other reasons some of which I’ll share later in this article as an excuse.
What is ironic is that the people who are actually promoting this trend using their songs or social media platform are actually graduates with good results yet allowing many others not to go through the process that they have passed through. This is also an excuse for people too as they’d say ‘if a man who almost drowned on a river tells you that it is deep, you do not have to do same thing in order to discover what has already been discovered’
What are the major reasons why people think school is scam?
There are lots of graduates that are jobless: This is true in Nigeria. There are many of graduates that are unemployed and idle and as we know the idle mind is the devils workshop so a lot of graduates have ventured into bad acts like scamming, armed robbery and many others with the excuse to make end’s meet but how is all of these the university’s fault? A university is a learning hub where people from different walks of life come to gain knowledge to ___. That dash is not an error but it is actually a big problem that we are having in this part of the world. ‘The Why’ the reason behind knowledge is one of the causative factors that is making people jobless and idle. Normally, we gain knowledge to apply it and provide solutions and that’s why you see a Chinese boy of 10 creating wall sockets and many other inventions; exporting it and generating money but in here ‘we gain knowledge to get a job and not just any job but a white collar job with a huge office and a nice pay’. This is the stereotype that a huge chunk of Nigerian youths go into the university with. You now see them cramming just to have a good results that a company cannot refuse and when they get pass that level, they totally forget what they’ve learnt cause as we know cramming does not stay in the head for a long time instead of allowing the knowledge impact them have an open mind to see what can be created or what solution can be provided with what they’ve received. They do all of these things without realizing that the real result is not the grades on the papered certificate they receive but what is being created or acquired with the knowledge they’ve gotten. The time they get to realize this is when they’ve been idle to three years, life has dealt them a bitter lesson you’ll now hear them say ‘ah its not about the certificate or school o’ and those who do not understand will say ‘school na scam jor’
People who studied a particular field end up practicing/working in another field: This is also true and its in two ways. First, I’ve seen couple of lawyers working in a bank. You now ask what is the correlation? Rumor has it that those half baked lawyers cause they’re not fully lawyers yet(you’ll know why at the end of the end of the sentence) that could not pass Law School exam which is a criteria to be fully called to the Bar as a full lawyer by the body of benches or so as they call it so they’ve got sort after other alternative. The second way is that maybe while studying a particular course, one now fell in love with another thing entirely different and they go for it. I fall into this category too. I’m actually studying to be a doctor something that I love but I’ve found more love in technology; programming stuffs, creating solutions and making them work (*Doc on steroids my mentor will say).* I see venturing into programming more and building a hospital as a consolidation when I graduate.
This school is scam is a ‘***eductio ad absurdum fallacy’*** that erroneously compares something reasonable argument into an absurd one, by taking former to the extremes.
I’ll advise all my Nigerian students to read this and have a change of mindset so that we’ll really see the real result of education.

Daddy Dearest - My father and my friend
This article was supposed to be posted yesterday, Father's Day but because there were so many activities lined up, I couldn't get a chance to write.
This is a letter dedicated to an amazing personality who has had great impact on who I am.
Dearest daddy,
Today is a reminder of how blessed I am to have you as a father. You've been there right before inception and when I finally came into the world, you became an every present figure in my life. You'd always get the latest toys,, and you ensured that your children never lacked a thing. When it gets dark, we'll gather in the living room waiting for our Ojuju Calabar to come and scare us away, and when we hear the growling sound, we scamper out of the room with our small legs laughing so loud. You know, it took me awhile before I understood that you were the one behind those scary, funny growls. I never allowed you to enjoy whatever you're eating to a full. I will always come close and keep giving you the "give me looks" which you always understand and share with me. While growing up, you told me that I could do anything that I put my mind to do that I could be a Jack of All trades and a master of all contrary to the views of the world but what's more important is that you didn't just tell me using the Bible as a reference, you also showed me a living example of that, yourself being a civil engineer yet a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer in one body thereby showing me not to always accept the notions of the world as true. You're my hero, Dad!
My alarm never wakes me up. You took it upon yourself to become my personal alarm. You'll come to my room and wake me up each day, and before I sleep, you always come around to see if I'm alright. An act you still do. Till this day. You never miss the opportunity to teach me about anything at all even when my siblings would say those are boys stuff you'll tell them a girl can do anything a boy does and vice versa.
You didn’t let me seek out adventures, you brought me along, showed me lots of places and your great story telling skills made me know about a lot of things that an average do not know about and when I get to share with my friends and teachers I was regarded as very smart. I would smile only if they knew that you were behind it all. For this reason, stuck with you in all you do, and gradually I began to share in some of your passions. You always nudge me not to be shy to express my thoughts and I got so attached and free around you. You became my best friend, and we talked about many things which I've taken to heart till this day.
Furthermore, you kept expressing your pride and acceptance of me, which made me self-confident and helped me scale through peer and societal pressures. Do you remember when we started the mini military school in the house? When I choose to play Commissioner of Police, thinking it was the highest hierarchy, and then you chose being the field marshal instead. Where you’ll ask me to investigate some persons, lol. After some years, I realized that Field Marshal is the highest rank and I stylish hijacked it from you which I use to ask for bribe every single time.
You've been there in my best and worst moments protecting and guiding me and I don't know how to appreciate you enough for your love, support and patience. You've taken a space in my heart that no one else can fill. I won't wish for any other General in this lifetime or the next.

Check Them Up
Yesterday, I was scrolling and watching my contacts whatsapp status for it has been a while I’ve done that; been busying around the whole week and the holiday I was given at my workplace wasn’t really a holiday for me as I worked even more, although this time on my personal projects.
I think I will make this status viewing a routine cause the funny memes and videos my contacts are posting are really cracking me up and like they say *‘all work no play make jack a dull boy’.*
I was in all smiles when a new post popped that happened to be that of a secondary school pal of mine. The name brought a lot of memories and the one that stucked was how I met him.
I was a new student at the school then. My childhood friend and competitor named Moses attended the school too and was well known being the brilliant boy that he is. Moses asked me where I’ll be changing to for I informed him that my parents want to change my school. I told him that I will be attending a school named “seat of wisdom” and he practically left his previous school called Amazing College to the one I told him but guess what, my parents eventually enrolled me at Amazing my childhood friend’s previous school. I was that mean then lol.
When I broke the news to him, he was so pissed, he didn’t talk to me for a week or so for he wanted us to attend same school like we did in our primary school days but I didn’t want that for some reasons I’m to shy to disclose.😄
Since his Dad had already paid the school fees and all that he needed, there was no way he could tell him that he wants to return so, he informed his friends that a new girl is coming that’s very intelligent, who would top the class if they were not careful. He told them my name and how I looked like. (I got to know this a month after I enrolled to the new school)
On the day that I would be officially a student of the school, the director of the school and my mum accompanied me to my class and he told our class master who is a lady to watch me and take care of me. I was feeling myself but was a bit shy as all eyes were on me. My Mum bade me goodbye and left with the director. I was then given a sit. The girls in my seat asked what my name was and I told them that was when I noticed the 3 sets of piercing eyes looking at me and smiling. I didn’t pay much attention to them anyways. During break, I stepped out with a girl named Zainab who showed me the cafeteria. On returning to my class a boy blocked my path. Tried navigating other routes but he still blocked me. I stepped back in shock and then he said: **I know you; you’re the so called intelligent Victoria right? (he asked sarcastically) I didn’t say a word. He continued, well you’ve met your waterloo by coming to this school. We’ll see if you’ll ever get close to be in top 5 not to talk of topping the class, we’ll see.** And then he left.
I was even more surprised. I stood still and watched him until he was no longer in sight. How did he know me? I thought. A threat on my first day?? Ok. Unknown to him, He just triggered something in me which was probably very happy at that point. I got to class and we both exchanged glances. After the close of school, I walked up to him in the company of his friends and asked him with a smile. “What is your name?” and he told me his name is Peter. He introduced his other friends to me and that’s how we all became close friends.
For a year now, I’ve not seen my friend Peter and we don’t communicate so much which i played a role in. The last time they organized a hangout, I couldn’t even meet up because I was busy. It now dawn on me that I’ve placed my friends on a secondary and my busy life primary which is not suppose to be so. When I saw what he posted, I realized a lot has changed about him. **‘OBI’** as we call him even though he’s a northerner now smokes weed! I was heartbroken. I have not been there for my friends! I quickly scheduled a meet up which will happen on Saturday. I just hope they are all emotionally fine

Disappointment Turned Appointment
Hello ReadCash Family, how are you doing? Hope all is going well as it should? If so thanks be to God (lol who used this last line when writing letters?😂) Back then in primary school, if you do not add that line and you're writing a letter, you'd get a zero. Good old days!😂
Disappointment hurts a lot especially when we are having high expectations or relying so much on that outcome. It is the second thing people try so hard to avoid but will still surface itself. When we get disappointed,it feels like the earth has turned it's back away from us. The energy to continue drains out and we begin to feel like we're not good enough; like we're a failure and many other negative emotion rolls in.
It is actually normal to feel pained when you go through a major disappointment. The determinant factor that points out if this is good or not is what the pain leads to. If your pain leads to depression then it is definitely a bad one but if the pain brings out your adrenaline and drives you to try again or do something different then it's the good pain. In one of my previous articles, I talked about how there's beauty in pain and how it can drive and launch us to attain a new level of success.
A practical example: if you keep a bowl of fried rice with assorted meats and you tell two peoplen; one with a full and the other with a hungry stomach that whoever get to the meal first has it. Who do you think will win? Logically, the one with the hungry stomach having pains from worms in his stomach will strive so hard like his life depends on it because it actually does will win over the ones whose stomach is full as this one will be it restrained in his efforts as he got a full stomach already and there's nothing to lose so he thought. But what if there's a golden necklace worth a lot of money close to the bowl of rice? The hungry one will take it all!
That's the same way the journey to success works. The reluctant one never gets it
Do you know some hungry persons will still not win? As they'll give an excuse that they've got no strength?
Disappointment is a two sides coin. There are many people in which disappointment has turned them into miserable beings while for others, it made room for bigger appointments. One of those persons is a well known Veteran Nigerian Actress called Patience Ozokwo popularly known as MamaG.
This woman is a Nollywood sensation. So filled with talents and wherever you see her you just know that movie is surely going to be interesting. She takes both the Villan and the .. role perfectly that you'd wonder if that's how her personality is. She's one of a kind.
Before attaining all of the fame, she was a radio broadcaster. She was working there when her husband passed on living her and their children. She automatically became the bread winner of the house and had to manage the little stipend she receives to cater for her family. Two months down the line, after her husband has been buried, she got to the office and met a sack letter on her desk. I imagined she cried her eyes out just as any person who just lost a job at the time he or she needs it the most will do. She didn't allow that way her down completely; she tried to get another job, dropped her CV at many places but couldn't get a job and her children drove out school because of her inability to pay the fees. A normal person would start thinking and they have high BP (another problem) but she kept trying.
As God would have it,she saw a poster for a movie role and decided to give it a shot as she was desperate and needed money. She went there and did the role well and was selected to be a part of the movie cast. This was the beginning of her journey as an actress and now she is international star and a great grand ma looking fresh and strong, money doing its job😊
She also Sings. One of her songs reminds me so much of my childhood moments and I laugh so much when I watch it 😊
Imagine if she wasn't sacked? She would've been retired without all of the good things she enjoys now. There are disappointment that happens to bless us but we also have to give consent to this blessing through our choices.

What's Special about Today?
Hi read cash FAM. How are you all doing and hope you're having a great day.
What's Special?
Today is a very special day in my life. A day that I came into this world. God has given me another year to live, laugh, and love and that is the best thing I could receive.
My mum will always tell me that I am a child of faith. According to her, my Dad never wanted to have 5 children. He wanted three or at least four. That was the plan. My mom gave birth to our firstborn, who's a male, everyone was happy. She gave to another who is also male, and they celebrated, the third is also a male too and the celebration continued. At this point she was a bit worried because she wanted to have children of mixed gender and as for my Dad, he was not perturbed. He said whatever God gives, be it a male or female he'll be grateful.
When my mom was heavy with the fourth child, she hoped that this one will be the girl that she's been waiting for. As she gave birth the child looked so much like a female which made her excited but when they wanted to give the infant a bath, her hopes were dashed into the mud. It was discovered that the child has a male organ and not that of a female. As per the agreement, my Dad said this would be the last child and my mum was sad. Even my siblings who were little at the time were also sad. My mum said they'll come to her and say, "So mummy we won't have a sister? We'll be going to people's house but no one will come to our house" the last statement meant that they'll go pay others' bride price but no one will pay to them. Small kids saying big things, lol. They were that smart.
This continued for four years and all hopes of having a baby girl were close to 0% as my mom had been on family planning, but all of a sudden she started feeling weird. She thought it was only fever, as it's not possible for one to be on family planning and be pregnant. But when this illness started deteriorating, my dad took her to the hospital and after the checks, they were told that my mom was pregnant. My parents were astonished but were happy. She made a confession that instant that this will be a girl. When my siblings got to know, they also agreed in faith that I'll be a girl and not a boy. They always put that in their prayers whenever they're asked to pray. It got to a point that they'll deploy themselves to stay with mum in order to protect the pregnancy, lol.
My siblings were the ones who suggested the name that I'll be called. My mom didn't want her hopes to be dashed again,, so she decided not to do a gender check on the pregnancy. She relied on her faith. When it was time for delivery, my mum had me, and she was told that I am a girl and not a boy. She was so excited. My dad was equally informed,, and his joy knew no bounds. When my brothers were told, the kept shouting, We now have a sister! She is here now. That day, my dad told me that they almost burst the speakers with the loud sounds of music.
God has been faithful and true. I wouldn't have been alive to see this day if not for him. A lot who are even better than I am have passed on, but I'm still among the living. I'm so grateful.
By the grace of God, my parents, guardians, and life have groomed me to be an intelligent, courageous, warmhearted, ambitious and dogged beautiful young adult.
I pray that this new age brings a new dawn of great achievement in my life.

Today's topic marks the last in "**The word**" series that started on Thursday and it has really been enlightening even for me the writer. Sometimes you write about something and when you read them you discover that they are things you learn and apply in your daily life notwithstanding that you're the author of the article. The word is a book
The word is a person
**The Word is the Bible** (the holy book) which is provided to guide us in our journey through life. It is the lamp for our feets and a light unto our path. It is there to give to direct us on what to do and what to avoid. Although, it is written for many years but it's very relevant today and even tomorrow. Hebrews 4:12 says that "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" the word is and will ever remain active. No matter what it is that's happening in the world, it is recorded in the Bible. Is it wars, deaths, tribulations and trials , betrayals, love,lust and whatever problem that we're going through is there in the Bible. Someone has gone through all of these things so nothing is new. The Bible is an enduring book that's last forever and will never fade away.
There's a word for whatever problems or challenges that you're going through. You're not alone at all. When you study you'll get to discover and see the promise that God has to say about that challenge
**The Word is a Person:** the Bible is just not a book no. There's something much more than that. Hebrews 3:5 says *"in the beginning was the world and the word was with God and the Word was God".*
The word is God. This is what makes the Bible different from all other books, it will just be like a story book that you can't comprehend if you don't believe in Jesus (the word).
The word is Jesus, who is the firstborn of all creation. Because of this, the Bible is not just referred to as the word, but the word of God. He is the message and the messenger. The Word came to earth as a human. “*The Word became flesh and resided among us.” (John 1:14).* When we believe in the word (Jesus) we shall be saved. The book of Mark 16:16 says "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned" The Word cleanse us from all our sins and wrongs and when Jesus cleanses he forgives you of your sins and begins to work in your life through obeying the word of truth.
Believe is something that is actually hindering us from receiving this promise. We have too many doubts in our minds, which would not leave a room for the word to manifest.
Let's trust in the Lord with all we have, and we will see him come through for us in our times of need.

**Message from June Day 10**
People have different meanings to what a relationship is all about but for me I think a relationship is something where love, commitment and trust exist between two people. What I mean by commitment here is that these two people are there for each other, support each other.and take care of each other. This doesn't mean that it should now be a scratch my back and I do same kind. Most of the time, one party has to start doing all of these things and the other will catch up along the line reciprocating even more what is been done having learnt by example.
In a relationship, one has to spice things up once in awhile. Like as a guy, you take your partner on a treat or a short fun trip where you both have a good time and create wonderful memories for this goes a long way in strengthening the bond between you two. Even though Sometimes, I say I don't like surprises, deep down my heart I know I love it. You'd agree with me that the feeling one get from surprises especially a good one of course is mind blowing. I love to spoiled with gifts and surprises like a baby doll maybe this is because being the last born and the only girl in my house, I'm used to being pampered by my parents and I also love to see other ladies being spoiled silly by their significant other. It's sweet to watch
So yesterday I was going through my WhatsApp Status when I came across a post from a girl who celebrated her birthday a day ago mind you I don't know her personally but I've got her contact maybe via a contact gain or so. I was about to.comment happy birthday when the next post popped up which was a video. Being the curious person that I was, I decided to wait and watch what the video was about and when it started playing, I saw herself and a guy who's probably her boyfriend holding hands with other people around them moving towards a particular door. When they got to the door, the girl's countenance changed instantly. She opened her mouth and eyes so wide, smiled after and made a face like one who's about to cry(tears of joy) she had just being surprised. 30secs was over and the next video started playing and here she hugged her boyfriend and I hear myself say oh my gosh..😊 what a scene. The camera now moved towards the room and when I saw it I couldn't help but say a subconscious wow. The place was beautiful designed with bright colours and light. New shoes I think should be up to 10 was arranged in order. Flowers, and a huge Teddy bear was on the bed and when you look side ways was something round like a cake in 7 steps and all around it was naira bills(500) and same thing was at the right hand side too. I said another wow at this point. In the third video, she was checking out the Teddy bear and a musician band was singing for her and she was dancing. I was smiling through out while watching the video and then I commented and said "Babe you're loved"
She's indeed loved because in this economic downturn where guys are complaining and saying that girls are too demanding but hers went all out like this for his girlfriend. This brought back some memories and subconsciously started wishing I'm the one being surprised like this but how? If you don't give love a chance again my subconscious thought replied. Lol. I shrugged off that thought. I saved the videos.
The next day, A friend of mine was going through my phone and saw the video. She asked if I knew the girl and I said she's my WhatsApp friend and then she asked another question that threw me off guard. "But why is the guy not smiling?" I didn't notice that so I had to watch the video myself to confirm and she was right the guy didn't even look happy at all. My friend laughed and said "This Na Yahoo boy and his girlfriend knows I believe" she showed me the signals that were so glaring but I didn't notice. Wow and to think that this video made me to start wishing and all...Ha this social media is deceptive o. They show you something thats not exactly the way it seems and you take it to heart and act on these things putting pressure on yourself and others.

A Word Can Save You
**"Actions Speaks Louder Than Words" is this true?**
Yesterday, I started the interesting series on words and I established that words are just not letters but something bigger than that.. You can read it if you haven't. Today we'll be focusing on other aspects of words.
I've heard this phrase action speaks louder than words, but I've not seen action put people on edge like words have done. Action can last for a moment and be forgotten, but words. It can travel around and can have a life long.impact.
When i was growing up, I prefer being spanked to being insulted, oh how it breaks me and make me cry my eyes out even more than i do when I'm spanked.
Words are very powerful, and I've come to realize that action is an aftermath of words that were spoken or read. How? Take a look at the chain below
Words – Thinking – Emotions – Decisions – Actions – Habits – Character – Destiny
When a word is released either by mouth or via an article, the chain above begins to manifest in its order. Every action is as a result of a decision which is also as a result of emotions which is also as a result of one's thought and which is prompted by WORDS. A life can be changed forever with as little as a single phrase, no wonder the book of *Proverbs 16:24 brings this truth to light, sharing that “kind words are like honey–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”*
This quote is talking about kind words, what then happens is the words ain't kind
Let me share a story my Historian Daddy told us. It's actually a true life story. Once upon a time lived two soldiers who were great friends. They've been to peace keeping missions together, watching each other's backs and surviving. These two are of different religion and tribe, but were as close as brothers. When they came back to their country Nigeria, which then was under the military rule, one out of these two friends found favor in the eyes of the Military Head of State,a, the one whose power was equivalent to that of a president and was given the opportunity to serve as a security team and so there was a huge divide between these two friends. The military rule is not stable; aggrieved officers can unite and overthrow the government if they feel wronged in someway. A time came that the people from the particular region felt betrayed after a failed coup claimed the lives of many of their people and decided to organize a reprisals coup. One of these two friends belonged to this group of person's and was actively involved in the coup to overthrow the government where the other friend is serving. A coup is a like a bloodbath where anyone regardless of relationship existing before then can be killed.
On the day of the attack, the coup d'état soldiers including one of the best friends gain their way into the premises of the Military Head of State. There was a gun battle between those defending the General and the coup d'état soldiers and Major F decided to run a way but as he was doing that, his friend pointed a gun at him and was about to shoot when he said with a smile "I'll gladly prefer to die by the hands of my best friend" and then he closed his eyes expecting to hear the sound of a gun and breathe his last but heard nothing but "Run far away my friend"
He would've been killed by default his soft words saved him, and he was alive to be a Military head of state too.

A Word Is Just Not A Word
**A message from June Day 8**
Hello ReadCash Family! How are you doing and I hope all is well with you. A lot is happening in the world so let's remain positive and stay safe.
This topic came up after watching what I'll call a very interesting awareness commercial which will be in three series. This is the first.
According to thoughts.co, language(Human Language) refers to the grammar and other rules and norms that allow humans to express utterances and sounds in a way that others can understand. Language is mankind's greatest invention that ironically, was never invented. No one has come up with a better explanation of the origin of Language than the biblical story of The **Tower of Babel**(Genesis 11:1-9); a sad but very significant story of a United Human Race that came together to build an idolatrous tower that will reach the heaves to enable them to see and commune with God(the creator). They started building and were progressing very fast. The creator seeing the strong determination in the hearts of this United humans saw that they would achieve their goal if they're not stopped. So the creator decided to infuse the human race with a myriad of tongues (languages) so that they could no longer communicate and thereby no longer build the massive edifice that would replace the almighty.
I can't help but imagine the kind of life we'd live if these groups of people did not try to build this tower - the world would've been more united and peace loving than what we are seeing and experiencing today but because of their act, 1000+ languages with different rules, letters and sounds were birthed.
Because one person cannot learn 1000+ languages, a communication bridge arose and human effort to bridge that gap and make it one again as it once were now invented the Universal Languages where English emerged mostly used.
As i mentioned earlier, the two major essence of language is Expression and Assimilation (understanding). What do we express? We express how we feel; something that arises out love, joy, sadness, work, needs, desire, ties, tastes and other experiences of ours. And what do we understand? We understand based on the expression of how we feel and our experiences.
I don't know if this correlation is dawning on you now
For this reason, a word be it in English, French or Spanish or any other language can have several meanings even though there's a fixed definition in the dictionary.
**Example**: You call a Canadian resident and a Nigerian resident, and you say to them **"Healthy Conflict brings happiness'** Two meanings will be running in the minds of these people. The Canadian resident might understand that i mean "**Controversial Feedbacks from others can help one learn more from the views** of others but a Nigerian resident who understands conflict as stray bullets flying in the air, bomb blasts and killings of innocent people will look at me with confusion and disbelief for how can **"The killing of human beings is healthy or brings happiness**?" If this person is one who has experienced this first hand, he/she might lose their temper and hit you in the face or somewhere else, and you'll be left wondering what did i say wrong. This ain't misinterpretion of words for we read meanings to things personally.
Same thing occurs with so many words for they are not just letters but are loaded down with baggage of experiences and feelings.
I hope you'll go through the rest of the day knowing that the words you're about to speak or say are not empty but might mean something entirely different from the message what you intend to pass.

Failure is Feedback
`As I was about to post this article, I decided to read and comment on articles and i stumbled on` @Lucifer01 `article about failure and how good it is. What a coincidence!?😊 I said in my mind.`
When i first heard this two words from my mentor, i immediately felt it can't be true. It's just a motivational talk intended to make one not to sulk up too much when a major set back is encountered. I didn't take it seriously at all like I've done to other lessons I've learnt from him but something happened earlier this month when i launched a start up program. I did all the right things to the best of my knowledge but then the result i wanted wasn't forth coming. I wondered what could be wrong and kept trying but then i wasn't impressed with the outcome so I stopped trying and concluded that the attempt is a failed one. Admitting that was really heartbreaking for something i gave my all for so I avoided anything that reminded me of it. After two days I felt a strong urge to review what i did and they the "eureka" moment occurred. I discovered that i was about to give out something that's worth a lot of money if i could put some oecks on it for a penny and I'm not giving just one but a lot of them for a little amount and then the wiser me(my mind) said "is `Failure not feedback?`" Oh my i quickly went in search of the lecture on that topic. I listened with an open mind and i discovered that I've not been following this principle in other parts of my life and that's why I'm not moving at the pace i want.
"Before success comes to a man’s life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps, some failure, when defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is quit. That is exactly what the majority of men do” --Napoleon--
People have buttressed Failure as a very bad thing so much that the we now also see it in same light and is something we dread and try to avoid at all cost but if it eventually comes, we fee mad at ourselves and never want to try again just so we don't encounter it. Those who were able to muster courage and try again take a different route since the previous one didn't work out but will still end up failing again which will make the person give up totally. This happened because he/she focus on the name failure more than the results it shows
The truth is failure is not something that we should dread or run away from. It is a learning process and a tool we can use to be successful. When you try something and you fail, it tells you there are things you were not prepared for and also reveal what that thing is giving you a a clue on how to go about it, what to avoid and what to focus on.
`“Don’t be afraid to fail… if you are not failing, you are not growing.” Thomas J. Watson.`
Fear is learned and so can be unlearned and this leads to self-confidence that propels you forward. To eliminate or unlearn fear, you have to accept that no success is possible without failure, all successes are preceded by great failure repeated over a long period of time. Think of failure as Trial and Error method of solving mathematics. You do something and you check if it's correct, if it isn't it'll prompt you where the problem is coming from, you go back to the drawing board, fix it and check again and if successful, you get a pass mark.
Your failures are the testing grounds for your future successes, so double your failures for It is better to fail now and learn than fail when making million dollars deal as a result of something you could've learnt earlier.

`Sequel to People Will Always Talk`
In life, no matter what you do be it good or bad, people will always have something to say about it. This act is unavoidable; it has to come for everyone has the right to express how they feel notwithstanding how what is expressed make you feel but why do you even care so much about someone else’s opinion?
It is a default setting.
As a social being you seek approval from others.
No self acceptance/confidence
It is a Default Setting: when a child is born, he/she knows absolutely nothing like a new book with blank pages. The parents are the first to input something in this blank book by teaching and showing you what to do and what not to from changing your sleeping position, stopping you from sucking your thumb and other things. They gave you positive strokes of encouragement when you tried to walk as an infant and when you started going to school; they approved or disapproved the grades you brought home. You also received feedback and input from other persons like your teacher, uncle, aunties and of course your friends. This shows that your earliest view of yourself was formed through the lens of other persons other than yourselves and for this reason,
We become so used to these views or inputs whether good or bad that you tend to forget that you’ve got your own voice, you forget about your personal opinion about yourself. You now feel that your thoughts are now secondary and others primary living for others not yourself and seeking for validation for anything that concerns you be it true or wrong. For example,
Sheila is going to a party with her friends. When she was done dressing up for the event, she looked into the mirror and a little voice in her head tells her she’s beautiful but she’s not sure about that. I’ll ask my friends instead she said
Sheila meets May – how do I look dear?
May (obviously jealous of her looks) – this dress doesn’t look good on you and the make up looks wacky. You should have done ….
Sheila believed her friend. Felt she isn’t beautiful and lost confidence because
She lacked self acceptance – a lot of people lack self confidence in themselves not because of anything other than lack of self acceptance. Because they are used to people’s validation and rely solely on them, they lost themselves and see no reason to discover who they really are so when people’s views of them is negative, they slip into depression and the next thing you hear is suicide.
No matter what is being experienced in your life, show empathy to yourself, discover, forgive and accept yourself. With this information in heart , you’ll be confident and bold, you’ll be able to narrow and define your interactions with people who challenge you to be a better version of yourself.
If you want to make a decision and your friends or family are advising other wise, do the 5 why’s test.
Ask yourself why you are taking that decision. Eg because of A
Ask again – why am I doing this because of the (answer) in this case.
Do this three more times and if you feel your answers are valid then go all in with your decision
If you feel like people are saying something that ain’t true about you, analyze and see if there’s something you consciously did and if there is apologise and move on and if there isn’t, dress well and take yourself out. you’ve go to the level where people talk about you (people don’t waste their time talking about someone who’s got nothing to offer).

`A message from June: Day 4`
`This topic was meant for day 2 of June now it's day 4 already wow!`
`Are you experiencing the longer or the shorter day?`
Whenever I want to talk about this topic, a story I was told always come to mind. Don’t worry; I’ll share it with you.
Once upon a time – response: time time
There was a cattle rearer named ubangu who lives at the extreme end of a town called Nugugu. He has a wife but no kids. Every day is not a market day for the Nugugu people but they’ve got a fixed day for market activities of buying and selling to take place. People from all works of life come in their numbers to the Nugugu market as their very fertile soil yields a lot of good harvests of crops like yam, beans, groundnut; potatoes etc. people also buy and sell animals too.
One fateful market day, mr ubangu decided to sell his donkey. His wife asked if she could come with him for there are some food items they need to get from the market and Ubangu agreed. The market is four junctions away from Ubangu abode so therefore; they have to set out early in the morning in order to return before the cloud gets dark.
Ubangu, his wife and the donkey started their journey to the market on foot. As soon as they got to the first junction, they met some women who were fetching water. The following ensued
Women – “Ubangu we never knew you are this mean”
Ubangu – “what do you mean by that?”
Women – “a donkey is present but you allowed your wife to walk so that her feets will be weary and tired and yet you will still ask her to prepare food for you when you get back! You prefer an animal’s enjoyment to that of your wife. Tufia! ”
Ubangu reasoned and felt their point are valid and so he helped his wife climb up to ride on the donkey while he walk on foot and they continued their journey to the market when they got to another junction, some men said
Men – “just look at how men are suffering. His wife is sitting comfortably without even caring if her husband or tired or not. The husband is the head so therefore he should be the one riding not you”
My ubangu didn’t want his wife to trek while he’s on the donkey so he decided that himself and his wife will ride together.
The travelled faster and in no time they got pass the third junction and then when they got to the fourth junction which is very close to the market, a group of young men blocked their path. Mr Ubangu got down and inquired why their path was blocked and then they said
Young men – “why will two grown persons be riding on a donkey that is intended to be sold? Don’t you know this act is an abuse to animals and will in turn make no one be interested in buying it? ” they continued “you both should be the one to carry this animal and not the other way around”
Ubangu didn’t want anything to hinder his sales so he asked his wife to get down. They tied the donkey’s legs and carried it.
When they got to the entrance of the market, which is close to a river, the donkey started shaking because they couldn’t control the weight any longer, the rope slipped and the donkey fell into the river.
Mr ubangu watched as his donkey drowned. He couldn’t earn any money and his wife couldn’t buy anything since there was no money.
He lost it all

The Homecoming
The cloud became dark; thunder strikes .covering all around it. The wind was blowing from different directions. This continued for a while. Could this be a sign of rain, she thought. All of a sudden, everywhere became so still like the ..... A voice so cool and sweet to the ears spoke out
"Hello! My name is June. I am the 6th child of my Mom, "the year". When people think of me, they only realize that the first half of the calendar has come to an end with only another half left, but I tell you, I'm much more than that and if you can spare me a little of your time, I'll share with you who I really am.
She was too marveled to talk, but she nodded her head
Great! My origin is dated back to the ancient Roman Empire and my name was inspired by the Roman goddess called "Juno" who is a goddess of youth and protection and also vital energy and fertility. Before this, I used to be called "Mens iurius" and I was the fourth child then but when my father brought two older children of his to the family, my position had to be shifted to the "number 6" you know now. Anyway, I love my new number.
I came into existence with birthstones named Alexandrite, Moonstone and Pearl. The Alexandrite represents longevity and good health, the Moonstone represents Goodluck while the Pearl represents purity and faith. I not only came with birthstones but birthfowers named Rose and Honey suckle which represents a loving nature, desire, generosity and affection.
All of these attributes is what is needed to live a great life and I, June got them all. I am a two-edged sword, capable of making people very happy and also sad depending on how am I feeling. How she asked?
When I'm around, people in the Northern Hemisphere experience summer; a time when sunshine and heat is in its full swing. I also made the day feels longer than usual while those in the.Southern Hemisphere experience winter;a cold and refreshing weather, and they experience a shorter day.
All of my attributes are inherited by my children, ‘the June babies’. There are as delicate as the Pearl, colorful and changing as the Alexandrite and as beautiful as moonstone. They can be chatty and charming or secretive and cautious. Some of which are blessed with these two distinct characters. They are night owls, very active at night, so do not be surprised when you here them say they prefer reading at night. June babies are brilliant and witty with a lot of potential to excel in a science related field as solving challenges is one of a June baby’s hobbies. No matter what is going on with them, they remain optimistic, filled with high spirits and happiness. It is my nature.
A June baby’s creativity is on a high side. Their brains working round the clock full of ideas. While doing something, a new idea might up and he/she or of the previous to focus on the new idea because of this, it is hard for my children to focus on one thing.
Confusion is not an attribute of mine so, my children know what they want and how to get it no matter how hard it might seem. You can’t fool their intuition. It is very apt and accurate. A June baby is friendly and loyal to the core. They make great friends.
My children ‘the June babies’ are unique sets and I have missed them so much. After many months of being away, I just received the first batch of June babies, and I’m so excited that I can finally see them again, and they too are also excited to see me too. I can’t wait to receive all of my children so that we can all celebrate together even if it’s for 30 days only giving them all of the gifts I’ve got for them.
@Venvie is one of my kids, and I’m proud of her.
There’s also something for a ‘*non June baby*’ but it comes with exceptions.., only if you are friends with a June born.
I've been very busy for the past 2 days and that's why I couldn't write yesterday. Right now I feel so tired and sleepy but I try to make sure I write today.

A Price for The Prize : Story Time
`30th May 2022`
Once upon a time...
"Time, time, time," I chorused and we both laughed. Once upon a time, there was a hunter who lived in a remote village somewhere in Africa. One day, as it was his wont, he went on a hunting expedition, promising his family that he would come back with assorted game, so they could have a feast.However, after stalking the forest for several days and several nights,there was no game in sight. He thought that perhaps, if he went farther into the forest, he would get lucky. But the farther he went, the more tranquil the forest became, not a rumble or a stir. He did not even glimpse arodent. He ran out of food and water. He soon began to starve. But lack of food did not worry him as much as lack of water. Yet, he kept pushing on deeper into the forest.
Hunting for game was no longer his priority; he was desperately in need of water, and maybe food. But he met with no luck.Soon he began to hallucinate and he feared that he might die. Well, given the circumstances he found himself in, dying would not be such a tragedy. However, if that was his fate, at least he should find a cave or somewhere a little concealed to lay his head and die so that wild animals would not feast on his body. As he stood, swaying on one spot, drunk with thirst and hunger, he suddenly saw a narrow path that he did not notice before. He thouoht perhaps he was still hallucinating but he followed the path. Overhead, tree branches formed heavy canopies that shut out the sky. He trudged on,still hoping to find a spot hidden enough to hold his body. He had not gone beyond a few metres when he came upon an open field that looked like the courtyard of somebody's house.When he managed to look up, lo and behold, what did he see? A signboard that said, Food is Ready. As if that was not exhilarating enough, underneath this advertisement was written, All you can eat for free, your ancestors have paid for your food.
With the last energy he could muster, he trudged towards the direction that the signboard pointed and he soon found himself in a big compound. Everyone he saw appeared busy, dedicated to the affairs of the stomach.Some were pounding yam, some were cooking the soup, some were fetching rice into a large pot, and some were busy skinning freshly Kiled game of different stripes.As the famished hunter stood bewildered in the middle of all thefrenetic activities of cooking and frying and cutting and pounding, he wondered what to make of the whole scene. Could it be that he had died and had ended up in heaven? He was still trying to make sense or everything when he saw two ladies walk towards him with two crystal jugs of what looked lilke milk. In all his entire life, he had never beheld such enchanting beauty.One of them handed him the jug she was carrying. He frantically grabbed and downed its entire content in a jiffy. He collected the second one and drained it as well. He felt a new surge of energy and became more aware of his environment. He had no doubt that this was the hea he had heard so much about.The two ladies led him to a room and sat him on a cushion, so soft. softer than any he had ever sat on. They asked what he would like to eat. Even in his excitement, he had a major concern. He had no money. How would he pay for the food and the drinks? He could not be sure now that he actually saw what he thought he read on the signboard outside, that the food was free because his ancestors had paid. He had no idea that his ancestors ever wandered that way. So, the signboard may be intended for a particular individual, rather than general guests. He summoned the courage to ask the ladies. 'Is it true, what I saw outside, that food is free because my ancestors had paid?' They confirmed that it was true. He could eat and drink as much as he could for free, because his parents and parents parents had paid for everything.All glory to his ancestors!
He asked them to give him anything they had. They soon returned with a mountain of pounded yam, assorted game and chilled juices of different fruits held in sweating crystal jugs. The hunter pounced on the food and the meat. It was the most delicious meal
he ever had. He ate to his fill. He drank the juices, the taste of which did not evenbelong to this world. When he finished, a new wave of tranquility swept over him and he
did not know when he slept off. He could not recollect for how long he slept but when he woke up, the two angelic ladies were still waiting on him. He thanked them profusely and informed them that he would like to be on his way. They asked if he enjoyed the food. He said he did and
actually he wondered if he could take some with him for the road. They said he could take as much as he liked. Whereupon, he proceeded to stuft his hunter's bag with as much fried meat as it could carry. He also filled his water bottle with the juice. He thanked them once again, and set to be on his way. However, as he was about to exit the room, a voice, deep as it was omnipresent, flooded the room,jolting him back. Gentleman, you have not paid.

But the reason you were able to enjoy the free meal that you just had was that someone else had paid. Everything in life comes with a price that has to be paid in order to have access to it. A price was paid for the life we live, food we eat, the drugs we use, internet we enjoy, for success that's achieved, for peace that's attained, for this platform too. People paid the hard price so that you and i can enjoy it for free and even this also got obligations you've got to follow. To live the life of our dreams we will also have to pay the price (No pain no gain) We have to follow the laid down rules, requirements, costs to bear to the satisfaction of that dream. Dreaming and not wanting to pay the price is like a traditional baker going to a tech interview. No amount of luck will help such a one get the job. This price can be cash or kind depending on what is needed.
A price is also demanded in our homes. Our parents paid the price for us by grooming us right from childhood, teach us good morals, gave us education and all that a parent needed to provide till we become adults. We too will also pay a price for our children too be it good or bad and this will continue till the end of time.

The Burden Of a Fan - Football Vibes
Football is a wonderful and exciting sport. It brings people of diverse culture,race, religion, social or political status together in ways only it knows how to. People can relate based on the team or football club, team players and also based on the manager coaching the team. When the topic Football is discussed be rest assured that those involved in the discussion won't be leaving any sooner. One can spend hours talking and arguing defending or making jest of a team. This argument is even more fierce when the teams discussed are in the same football league or playing against each other during international championships. This in itself is one of the pecks that comes with a fan and at the same time the burden a fan has to go through just like what's happening to Kara now.
Today being the `28th May 2022` is a day Kara has been looking forward to for the past two weeks when her favorites football club, Liverpool played their last EPL match for the season. The rivals Man City were also played same day and at the same time so it was more like a determinant game if Kara's fab Liverpool, would take the EPL trophy. As usual, Kara argued with her friends who are football fans too expressing her hopes for Man City to lose so her team will be able to lift the trophy. She watched the match she termed the "*trophy game*" between Liverpool and Wolves up to the time Liverpool was leading with a goal and then left to do something while she was doing what she was asked to do, she brought out her phone to check her rivals score line and practically leaped for joy when she saw the 1-0 lead against Man city. After few minutes she checked again expecting an equaliser but saw that it was now 2-0 lead. "Ah it is finished we are league champions" she shouted in excitement. Although at this point Wolves equalised too but she had the conviction that her team Liverpool will win regardless.
Kara was shocked when she saw 3-2 scoreline the next time she checked. Like magic, man city scores 3 goals in less than 10 minutes. Kara and other Liverpool fans hope was shattered. Again Man city took the EPL trophy with a goal difference. Kara was unhappy on how the event played out. Her one and only solace is the fact that there's another opportunity for her team to raise a bigger trophy for champs which is why she kept waiting for today which is now a reality.
Opposite the Tv is Kara, her brother who is also a super fan and her dad(a ManU fan) watching her most anticipated champions league finals between her ex favourite and her her current favorite team. Madrid was Kara's favourite spanish club when her football icon Christiano Rinaldo (CR7) was playing for that team. In fact during the last finals between Liverpool and Madrid, Kara supported Real Madrid because she wanted CR7 to get Ballandior but she She disliked and ceased supporting the club when it's owner disrespected icon. Now she's fully behind Liverpool to thrash them 3:0 is possible.
She watched with bated breath all through the 1st half which did not bring forth a goal despite Liverpool's pressure and dominance. During the 2nd half, Kara's fav team kept doing the same thing; missing goal chances and then Madrid got a chance and scored a goal! Kara started feeling tensed and worried but shrugged it off with hopes that there's still time for her team to equalize but time went on and Liverpool is yet to score. When it was 10 minutes for the match to come to a close, Kara started praying deep within her for a goal. The final wistle was eventually blown with a score line of 1-0. Real Madrid team and fans were ecstatic while Kara's fav team were all moody. Liverpool lost!.
Mixed emotions of anger and disappointment engulfed Kara. She immediately left the living room for hers. Her heart was heavy. She started receiving "i told you so" kind of messages from some of her friends as expected. She did that to them too so now it's her turn. Thinking about how her friends will laugh made her even more sad. Why would Liverpool lose to Madrid a second time huh? She asked herself and she continued "I guess i just have to brace up and face this burden but for now, i think sleeping will help me get over it a bit" and so she laid down and slept.. oh poor fan.

Ignorance is Bliss Not a Disease

Scientist have gone so far in terms of inventions. They have invented human bots (humanoid robots resembling the human body in shape and behaviour; AI systems that doing jobs that humans do, smart drugs that one can swallow into the body in order to boast brain performance, monitor all the activities going down in there and giving feedbacks; lab baby (IVF) enabling one to have a baby without doing the traditional acts😉 and so many other great inventions but no scientist have created any working system that can tell when one will leave this world. We are all ignorant of that fact, and it seems like they ain't even interested to know.
That knowledge in itself is poisonous, so who will even be interested about something like that?. I've heard theories that when we know the time we'll die, we tend to make better use of the times that's allotted but the truth is that we won't be able to do anything purposeful with such information at heart. In fact, when one receives such news, a part of that person dies immediately. He/she starts waiting instead of living. So how can one make quality decisions in that kind of state? The only good thing that this will bring is that a lot of person's will go to heaven. You do the crazy things you need to do and when a year is left, you ask forgiveness and dedicate yourself to the things of the maker, you start going to church as your life hereinafter depends on it lol😂 but if you know that death is inevitable but do not when whether it is (80, 50,40,90,60 etc.) you face life calmly living to the fullest as "*when*" is ranging and not fixed.
The Pastor of the church told us a story how an evangelist fasted and prayed for over 40 days asking God to open his eyes that he wants to see what people cannot see. He was insistently kept asking, and he felt an urge to conclude the fast that his request has been granted. A day after the end of the evangelist fast, he went out to see someone in an office and while waiting at the reception, he started seeing strange persons with weird physique walk in and out of the place. He yelped up from where he was sitting, shouting "Jesus! Jesus! Blood of Jesus!" People around him were shocked and asked him what is wrong. He pointed towards what he was seeing while still shouting, but all the people around could see is an empty space.
They thought he was mentally ill, so they decided to rush him to the hospital. His wife was contacted, and she also found her way there as fast as she could. She called their pastor in tears and informed of the situation whilst asking how can a man who enquired of the Lord for many days be mad a day after. When the pastor arrived at the hospital, he prayed and got to know about the request the evangelist made. He asked God for forgiveness and the evangelist became normal again, but not with the lesson that not everything needs to be known.
God doesn't want our hearts to be troubled as an aftermath of certain knowledge and that's why he keeps them hidden for if we are able to look through the heart's of people around us, we won't even feel like living in this world.
Living in ignorance would've been the best thing that can happen to us but our stubborn progeny Adam and Eve used their curiosity to put us in this unrest from war, trouble, crime and deaths that we hear about daily.
Let's find a way to strike the balance between knowledge and ignorance for we need them both to live a happy life. Ignorance ain't a disease. We need to be a little ignorant carving a no Twitter, newspaper or news time just Instagram and TikTok dancing away our troubles. This is for our sanity.

Do not Inquire, Better left unknown

Knowledge is power. It sets you apart from the average people and you tend to make informed decisions but then there are certain knowledge that can make one question the root of existence living one in a state of dilemma. This forms the basis of today's article and the rhetorical question is
Can ignorance be the route to live a happy life?
8 out of 10 people when asked about the favourite part of their lives will say childhood days. I actually concur on this view because during childhood, one doesn't worry about what to eat, money, what's going in the world, death nothing at all. All a child wants and loves to do is play play and play with no worries whatsoever. This is so because a child lives a life of oblivion, plain ignorance and he/she is happy but what then happes when the reality of life begins to dawn on such a one; he/she begins to watch news and see how people are dying from wars, hunger and many other Ill things, how one cannot go out freely anymore but has to be wary of the places. This makes one to be uneasy every single time, expecting the unexpected..
I remember when i implored someone to tell me something that is a secret. What i got to know left me tough tied in surprised and dismay. I immediately regret why i asked. Something will happen to another person i know and there's absolutely nothing i could do about it not even to warn the person as I've promised not to let another ear hear it. For days, I couldn't sleep well but kept thinking and worrying. Even when i go out, i would be subconsciously looking over my shoulders. I was scared of doing many things and at a point, i got tired of living. My friends noticed by new behavior and were worried for me. Although i couldn't tell them exactly what was wrong but they supported and gave me courage to get away from that phase. **That's just how much certain information can do to one.**
If your die hard crush; someone you've been loving silently deep down your heart and the person never paid attention to you suddenly pops up on your wedding eve to tell you how he/she has also been in love with you but didn't have the guts to speak or show you because of certain reasons, what will you do?
If for anything, the confession didn't stop the wedding, it surely did mesa up with one's head and heart. It will now activate the what if's reaction something thatwe shouldn't do but can't help it will commence it's manifestation. One will start having an imaginery picture of the sweet memories that would've been created together and many other things that can affect the current relationship if not managed properly. But what if you are not aware of this tiny detail? One will have peace and all of these drama will be avoided.. I
I am not saying that living in ignorance is the best way to live what I'm saying is that we should be informed but shouldn't allow it make us bitter and torpid. Is that even possible in this present time where bad news is in the nook and cranny? If it is then how?...

The Great Advice
Life is filled with ups and downs; the more we try to make things easier the more harder it becomes and that's why we need to arm ourselves with the right set of advice so we'll have the right mindset and do the right things to travail in this journey of life. Here's a compilation of Advise
Your life is your responsibility -
The moment we grow pass the baby stage (0-3) that's when we started taking responsibility even though then its passive. An an adult responsibility comes to a full.You take decisions, actions for yourself but what baffles me is how we're quick to shift responsibility to someone or something when that decision or action didn't go as planned.
Let's learn to take responsibility for all(*both the good and the bad actions*) that goes on in our life and don't put the blame on others trying to make excuses for ourselves.
Take time to know yourself -
This is as important as knowing our name. **It is a special identity we must identify for growth to occur.** Give yourself some alone time. Be conscious of how you react and why and what makes you act a certain way. Infact it's even easier now as they are many online platforms where expert psychologist have put down questions that will give you a clear picture of who you are if only you answer honestly.
Why is this important?
When you know yourself who you are, you'll be equipped with the right approach to achieve your goals and dreams. You won't follow blindly applying someone else's methods to a yourself when you both have different personality thereby going around in circles with no results. Knowing ourselves helps us to live a meaningful and purpose driven life
Listen to learn -
learn to listen some more. Do not be too quick to react to certain things that are being said. Hold the urge to reply and listen to the end. Trust me you'll thank yourself for not reacting earlier.
Being the talker all the time doesn't add any knowledge to us. Lets cultivate the attitude of listening more than we speak.
Learn to manage expectations

80% of decisions made under the influence of any kind of emotion is regrettable when that emotion is no longer present. Our brains forces us to make decisions during this times but we should learn to be calm and have a clear mind before we conclude on that decision.

How I almost lost my crypto in Binance
Before now, I have resolved that i won't write about crypto out of the blue. I'll start from the ground up how i got to know about crypto, the hitches along the way, loses, gains and many other experiences encountered. My story with crypto is filled with lots of humor, tears and lessons that i think will be beneficial to people but with what happened yesterday i just had to rule out my resolve and publish this.
Binance is a very good crypto trading app with lots of features. When the app was recently launched, they did an airdrop and distributed lots of their tokens to people who download the app. A lot of people including a friend of mine who knew about crypto then got the airdrop which he sold some and kept some till the coin skyrocketed to the price it is right now. He really made a lot of cash from that single airdrop. Oh how i wish i also knew about crypto then.
A not so nice incident (I'll tell you about that in another article)prompted me to join the platform and sincerely I've never regretted doing same. With binance, one can buy or sell crypto and convert to fiat money seamlessly without a hitch and be guaranteed of the safety of the funds in the wallet. I think it's the only platform that has never been attaked by cyber criminals since its existence which shows the prowress of its security team. When the Nigerian government declared the ban on crypto, we all thought that was the end as many indigenous trading platforms had to go under but binance team showed their commitment by quickly creating a p2p platform in the app where one can buy and sell without getting into any form of trouble. They saved Nigerian crypto community which also helped in giving them more recognition and users.
I've been using binance app for years without any issue but yesterday.. something different happened.
Before now, I changed all my crypto investments into stable coins because of the bearish trend. So yesterday, i received some $$ from an airdrop i participated and i decided it will go to my Bank account which I'd use to spoil myself a bit 😉. So as usual i moved the funds to my p2p wallet and sold it to a buyer whose rates was favourable. After about 10 minutes or so, i finally received an alert of the money. It was now left for me to acknowledge payment and release the coin. I tapped on the release coin dialog box multiple times but not response. I did that for many times but nothing changed.. I closed the app and reopened it again, tapped many times but it didn't work.. what could be wrong I asked myself. An idea popped up in my head to switch my data to another network. After purchasing browsing data, I tried to acknowledge receipt of payment but nothing changed. Oh my.. at this time, I've already received 13 messages from the buyer already.. asking me why I've not released his coin.. The agitation increased at this point because before the transaction he informed me that he doesn't like delay in the released crypto and I understand because this traders make their profits using arbittatge which also means time is of the essence if any profit is to be made and i gave him my word now the I've taken som much time already.
When I was finally able to get past the payment received dialog box, he already filed an appeal as per the customary. As was about to do the two factor security authorization, another bigger problem popped up. I just remembered that the sim i used is not with me and there was no way i could get past the authorization without it. I don't know how but he chatted me up on WhatsApp and was complaining bitterly. I apologized as much as possible and told him the issue i had and am still having. I told him to send me his account number for a refund since there's no way i can confirm the payment. After doing the transfer, i then realized that the money is sent was less than what he sent. All the while the appeal was still counting which i later realised thanks to this guy that if the countdown elasped, he'll be automatically be credited since i haven't tendered any proof of having not received payment.He then warned me not to transact with any one outside the walls of binance apps as they are so many scammers hiding under the pretext of buyers.

He cancelled the appeal and told me to forget about the remaining money. I couldn't stop thinking him. He had every opportunity to take his money and my crypto but he rather lost a few bucks and enlightened me. I saved his number instantly after i got to know his name. Such good people are hard to find these days.
No one knows it all. We keep learning every day. Another lesson learnt!

Giving - It's In The Heart Only!
Hi my amiable readers. How are you all doing? Hope your day is going great? The topic for today came about through a video I watched recently but before I talk about the video, I'd like to share what my view is about Giving

I've always had this mindset that giving is the aftermath of excess supply**(When someone has got something in excess).** You don't give when you don't have enough or else you become stranded. the quote you don't give what you don't have rings the bell of affirmation to this believe and another adage "A beggar cannot beg a beggar' sealed it. Many times, I feel like I'm in a position to help but then the fear of losing the little I've got never let me help the person.
My transition from being a child to a young adult made me not to be too quick to judge the stingy. Giving even when there's abundance is also hard. The thought of all the strenuous activities that one had to go through before earning that money and giving it out to someone who didn't do anything at all makes one feel like it's a waste especially when the person the receiving would not even appreciate it. Many people do not appreciate other people's efforts. They feel like they deserve even more. I remember a person that I helped pay school fees last year. Then I did a program and I just got paid for it when this person came wailing that the school fees given was used for an investment which later crashed. How can someone use his or her school fees for an investment? Long story short, I felt pity and decided to help out with 60k. That was the first time I gifted anyone such huge amount of money. Even after giving the money, I just kept thinking of the many personal things I could've solved with that money. When I told my friends they called what I did crazy..and they were right. Two months later, this person wouldn't even say hi to me as if we were enemies.. My friends laughed so hard at me and there and then I promised myself that I won't give anyone anything based on compellation or friendship. I would only give what I can afford to part ways with and not a penny extra. I made this resolve not as a result of the mockery talks from my friends but because I realised that I used the wrong mindset in giving that money. I thought as friends are meant to help each other, and also based on give and receive, I'll also be assisted during my times of need not knowing that it seldom happens that way and most times the end result varies so much from what's expected.
But in this video, a senior adult is seen begging in the streets looking malnourished, pale and worried. He had lots of problems but the biggest one at the moment was that he's about to get kicked out of his little apartment because he was unable to pay rent. He kept wailing and some kind persons while passing that way dropped some cents his way. Soon, a young guy popped up from no where and asked the wailing beggar for help. He didn't have enough money for transport do he needed about 9cents to complete it. This beggar had an urgent problem and every cent is very important but to my surprise and amazement, the senior adult said to the guy
*"Here's 11 cents. You can use it.. it's important you have the complete money so you don't get stucked*"
I felt touched. He gave out of the very little he has even when faced with a tough challenge. I believe the guy was touched by his act and then asked why he was begging and looking shabby. The old man told him how he's just a few hours from being kicked out of his rented apartment. The guy shaked his head and brought out $1200 and gave it to him. The reaction of the beggar was priceless. It's the kind of countenance you make when the least person you're expecting something from comes to the rescue. The old man fell from his wheelchair, thanking the guy. The guy quickly helped him back up. He asked what his name is and left. The next day the guy came looking for the beggar. He finally found him and told how he told his friends what transpired between them and they all contributed the sum of $60, 000 for him. The beggar cried and hugged the guy. I also felt emotional here. The young guy took him to the salon, cleaned him up, bought clothes and groceries for the beggar. The beggar kept sheding tears of joy. It was a wonderful moment to behold.
This taught me that all I know about giving was actually wrong. Giving is done with all one's heart without expecting anything at all.
Cerebral Palsy: What is it?
**Cerebral Palsy i**s coined from the combination of two words “cerebral” which means pertaining to the brain and “palsy” which means weakness or problems using muscles. Therefore Cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that affects a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. CP is caused by the abnormal brain development or damage to a developing brain.
**Cerebral Palsy has got different types ranging from the areas of the brain affected. The four main types include:**
**Spasity (stiff muscles)** – this is the most common type that affects about 80% of people with CP. People with spastic CP has stiff muscles and as a result, their movements can be awkward. This stiffness can be in the legs, one side of a person’s body or all four limbs, the trunk and the face (which is the worst). People with spastic CP often have other developmental disabilities like intellectual disability, seizures, and problems with speech, vision or hearing.
**Dyskinetic CP** – people with this kind of cerebral palsy have problems controlling the movement of their hands, arms, feet and legs making it difficult to sit and walk. Sometimes the face and the tongue are affected and the person has a hard time sucking, swallowing and talking. Their muscle tones vary from day to day or hours to hours.
**Ataxic Cerebral Palsy** – an individual with Ataxic CP have problems with balance and coordination. They might be unsteady when they walk. They have a hard time with quick movement or movements that needs a lot of control like writing
**Mixed CP** – some people have multiple symptoms of more that one type of cerebral palsy. The most common combination is spatic and dyskinetic CP.
Signs of Cerebral Palsy
The signs of Cerebral palsy start to show when a baby is six months old or younger. You’d see that the head of the child lags when you pick him up while he’s lying in his back, he feels stiff, floppy, when held in the arms, the child seem to overextend his back and neck constantly.
In a baby older than 10 months of age; he/she crawls in a lopsided manner, pushing off with one hand and leg while dragging the opposite hand and leg.
Causes of Cerebral palsy
Although a specific cause is not known at this moment but it is also said that lack of oxygen during birth process might also be one of the causative factors. Cerebral palsy is a lifelong disorder.
**Uchenna** was born with Cerebral Palsy. Her older siblings were just fine having no issues at all but she was different. Her parent’s didn’t discover she had the disorder at the initial stage but they started to see the signs when at 1 she could not walk and was crawling some kind of way and made strange speech sounds according to them. After series of medical consultations, they discovered Uchenna had the disorder and was told that it can only be managed and never be cured. Her parents were pained when they thought about the life challenges that their beautiful daughter will have go through but they swore to give her the very best that can.
Uchenna’s siblings never treated her any different. Their mother ensured that they treated her equally and that love existed amongst them. Uchenna went through Nursery, Primary and Secondary school. When she was 16, it dawned on her that life for her is different. She never had a boyfriend like her friends did; she heard stories that a disable person cannot get married or have children which means she’ll never have the opportunity to blush and have butterflies in her tummy just like what she sees in the movies. This really got to her emotionally and she slipped into depression. Her family was ever supportive during these times and they ensured she furthered her education into the university. Despite the mockery, pressure and inferiority complex, Uchenna was able to scale through and graduate with a first class degree in Special Education. While doing her 1 year compulsory service to the government NYSC, she met a cute guy who showed interest in her. She was so elated when he asked her out. It was a dream come through for her. She did all she could to please him and make him happy only for her to be ghosted after the end of the service year.
The happy Uchenna became a shadow of herself. She wouldn’t eat or do anything useful. At a point she felt like ending her own life after all there’s nothing to offer. She got a job at that moment which was the beginning of a turnaround in her life. She began to see that she was wrong and had a lot to offer to the world. She discovered that it’s in her place to create the kind of life that she deserves and she doesn’t have to lean or depend on anyone to do that. She accepted herself for who she is. She became a form of reference to other persons with cerebral palsy. She travelled to many different countries to share her experience. There’s so much to life than she thought. In her words “if a man comes along, great, if there isn’t great. I am alive, satisfied and am enjoying my life. My disability gave rise to so many hidden abilities”
No matter what we go through, let’s be optimistic about life. Let’s try to look at the good side and have faith that things will be better. Who knows that challenge might be prompting us to an ability or idea that will change our lives for the better

10 Attributes The Ladies want to see in Guys - Part 2 😉

HONESTY:
*Honesty is the best policy*. It's important in every aspect of one's life especially in interaction with others. Being honest not only brings about trust but also the binding force. It binds two people together which goes a very long way. **Don't tell her that her dress looks** beautiful when you know it's not or say her hair is fantastic when it's actually a mess **under the pretext of** making her feel good or pleased.
**The truth** is she knows how it looks and lying to her about it make her believe you've got a poor sense of judgement thereby neglecting other things you'd say even if you're really being sincere about it. **Women love to hear the truth** so tell her the truth in a sweet way😉 For example; **Why's your hair this messy?** Then you can either say playfully **"Scout closer let me braid it for you"😉 or "don't worry about it, I'll personally accompany you to the salon to make it" or whisper to her ears "I love you and not your hair" .**
**Author's note**: If a man with two women tells only the first that there's another, I believe that lady he tells is the one he truly loves.
Curiosity (About Her!) :
One is only curious when there's an interest. Curiosity shows that you really care and want to be a part of that person's life.
A woman likes it when a man is being curious about her. It gives us the tingles😉😊. Being curious also helps to know who she is more .
**Author's note**: I'd say instead of judging whatever she does, try to ask her about it instead and know the why! It's then you'll now know the how(how to handle it if you don't like the attributes or character that is)
Acceptance -
Ladies don't like Men that are too quick to change them, judge or make conclusions. They come and say oh you look too fat, I'll like you to slim down a bit or I like seeing my woman in skimpy wears or otherwise.
Don't come and all of a sudden want to change her initial set up to the one you like. Learn to accept a woman they way she is or better yet don't go close if you can't. Women have already been told to run far away from a such a one.
Selfless:
This are people who are willing to sacrifice for another, someone that's willing to give up his needs so hers and others would be met. Selfless men are a gem; so hard to find this days. If you're a selfless guy, this applause is for you. 👏👏
Hardworking;
A guy is said to be serious with his life when he's hardworking. A hardworking person is self reliant and also shows that such a one can take care of her too. Ladies gets turned off when we discoversl a guy is lazy.
Being a friend first:
I purposely saved this point for last! I did that because people tend to rush into relationship without really getting to know who he or she is.
As a guy don't be in a hurry to ask her out. Don't always go with the flow. Yes! You might be having that undying urge to be with her or for her to be yours and when you discover she feels same way that urge triples but am saying you should find a way to tame that urge and try to know her some more.
**Be her friend!** that person she can always fall back on. When you've built a very solid friendship,you can now cement it by asking her out. This is very important because keeping a relationship is not just about **love alone,** there are other factors. At that point where love will not be enough, the friendship you both hav built will come to the rescue.
**Author's view**: My ideal relationship is a **"Part-time lover and a full-time friend kind"** It's a forever relationship and I love it.
