Another prompt interview.
I was about writing on a topic I saved in my draft today, but suddenly changed my mind and decided to postpone writing on it till tomorrow.
I've always wanted to jump on this prompt since last week, but lol, there was no writer's block, so I kept postponing the day I'll answer the questions.
I came across this lovely prompt on one of @Oyinwrites articles, feel free to check her interesting version of these questions via this link.
Time for some questions and answers!!.
Can you continue your relationship with someone that slept with your best friend?
First and foremost, I don't have a bestfriend, if I had one...it'll have prolly been a boy. But then, if I actually had a girl bestie and she slept with my boyfriend, there's no way I'll continue with such relationship. (chuckles) I mean, I don't really have to say it, the answer is glaring. It's rare to find someone that'll continue in such deceitful and baseless relationship.
Can you get married to someone you are not compatible with medically?.
There's no reason why I'll do this, nobody in his/her sane mind would get married to a person they're not medically compatible with. I've heard of some cases whereby some lovers broke up all because towards courtship; they realized they were not medically compatible. While some still took chances and their children suffered the consequences of their actions.
I believe, knowing eachother's genotype should be the first thing to tackle before entering or entering deeper into a relationship.
Can you marry an abusive partner?
I don't see myself dating an abusive partner let alone "getting married to such species of monsters" some parent's negligence towards issues like this has actually increased the rate of monsters in human form that we have till date. A man who is abusive should not bother standing up when men are called, but should stand up when animals are called. I want a sweet marriage, my eyes have seen alot of things during my growing up years. I'd be a fool to repeat the same sequence of mistakes.
Can you marry someone with no source of income?
You don't have a source of income and you have the mind to come and propose? Lol, nothing at all, no job, nada, nothing!!. Ahan, that's too bad... Are we meant to feed on "i love you, I love you too." No nau, how are we even going to plan the wedding? By borrowing abi?. Even the Nigerian singer "Davido" said: When money enter, love is sweeter."
As far as I'm concerned, it's Purpose before Partner. Yeah you can read that again. (So if you've not found your purpose and you've not sorted out your life, don't come and look for me. And if I've also not found mine, don't also come and look for me). I definitely can't marry someone who doesn't have a source of income, and I'll have mine too.
Have you ever fell in love with someone at first sight?
Just like Oyin said in her article, I also don't believe in "love at first sight" I can crush on you at first sight. Infact it's so natural for me to crush on any TDH guy at first sight. But it ends there. It can't be more than that, infact I might suddenly get irritated the next time I see you, or when I start noticing some dangerous traits in you.
I don't love easily, but I crush on people easily, especially when you're the TDH with pink lips version. π
Can you ever imagine yourselves in an homosexual relationship?
My answer is quite obvious, I can't imagine myself being in such kinds of relationships.
Can you marry your friend's ex?
I really don't know though, maybe, maybe not. It depends on the situation of things. My friend might actually be cool with it especially if she's prolly married at that time and oh well, love happens... let's split my uncertain answers in percentages.
Me marrying my friend's ex, I'll say 15%
Me not getting married to my friend's ex, I'll give this 85%.
Are you currently in a relationship?
Being single is actually so much fun (no commitments, no breakfast, no quarrels that might lead to tears, freedom is π― guaranteed)...I'm definitely not planning to leave this fun stage anytime soon.
And it's a wrap, we've successfully come to the end of my relationship prompt version, feel free to jump on it if you haven't.
(This will be a long comment. I apologise). π
Once - and, when I say this I am only presenting my most humble opinion, I believed not in the idea of "Love at first sight". However, a belief started to creep in after realising something. Love actually does happen at first sight. Sometimes, I wonder why it is so easy to replace the "Love" for "Crush". Perhaps, we as a people haven't fully grasped what it is. (It could be that, or maybe I'm wrong. You decide...). At that juncture, we de-emphasize it's true meaning, or it's purpose in and for us.
But, why has it been disbelieved in? Because the human mind cannot fathom what it has been alien to for so long. (In this case, the subject of "Love at first glance".)
Don't you think this is the only way love actually begins...? At first glance! It always starts that way. But, we've psyched ourselves to believe such a thing doesn't exist. Which eventually becomes our mistake. Right?
Sorry, this took you awhile. Don't think I'm a weird guy by saying this. (Spoiler! I actually am. But, a good kind of weird). Haha.
P.S I'm completely open to whatever you have to say after reading this. I also apologise I for not tipping, something came up at home which made me withdraw all my earnings today.
