It's true. They are falls.

So after our Dinadiawan Beach visit, off to Baul Falls we went. https://read.cash/@ARTicLEE/photoblog-from-diguisit-to-dinadiawan-6d1d5225 What I know is that *baul* is what we call a trunk or a chest so for it to be called *baul* there must be some other meaning to it. I haven't found anything yet online. It took us around 15 minutes or so to drive up to a certain point. The van can't cross the river so we walked the rest of the way which was another 10-15 minutes.

All you can hear is nature. Nature above you and all around you. We just followed the river. We passed by a hut and a place to change clothes but there was nobody manning. There is a sign indicating the fee that one needs to pay. It was really minimal. Even on our way home, there was still no one there though. We brought with us what snacks we have left. The water was cool and refreshing. From the hot and warm beach, we came here to cool down.

That's my cousin testing the deep. We tried scaling the wall to go higher but it was slippery so we couldn't go any further. There was a rope tied to a tree up above but we couldn't reach it and it was frayed anyway so attempting to hold on to that would be have been dangerous.

It's not that tall, maybe about 20 feet. The pool is not that deep either so we had fun time there but then felt chilled too soon so we didn't stay in the water for long but stayed to our hearts delight.

We then went home and rested.

The next day was another visit to yet another waterfall. We had to travel around 2 hours to get there. We were there late and they were about to close. We didn't know that they close at 5:00 p.m. Most of the shops were already closed. At the parking lot and at the entrance, there are shops and toilets where you can change clothes. One must pay the entrance fee and the tour guide. It is mandatory that a tour guide will accompany you. We had to cross the river many times just to get the waterfall.

We got there just in time to enjoy the the waterfall though and the guide was impressed at our speed getting there. We are from the mountains and we are used to hiking. The estimated time he told were cut in half. There was a pipe that water from the falls passes through that goes to a treatment facility where it would then be distributed to household I think. We had to climb rocks. One must be sure of footing to avoid slip and fall. At some parts of the river there was a rope for you to hold on. A few meters from the falls, we can hear its thunderous and powerful roar already. There is that energy that one can feel as you go nearer and nearer. Once there, we were just in awe how might it cascades down. It's amazing that that amount of water can come from the mountain and it never ends. There were other visitors there but they were about to leave so we had the place to ourselves.

Ditumabo Falls is named after the barangay it is located in San Luis, Aurora. They also call it Mother Falls. The guide mentioned of yet another falls which is mightier than this but it's a 6-hour hike and they call that Father Falls. There was no trail going there yet so it would be challenge to reach that. We just enjoyed swimming in the small dam that was created beside it.

If there is one place that I want to go back to, it would be this falls. There are many more falls to visit in the province. Three days are not enough to visit them all.

Sunday has now ended and tomorrow will be Monday again. Where did the weekend go? For me, it was spent here in read and noise. I had my early morning walk yesterday and today. It was great and it made me feel good. However, I still can't motivate myself to go out to have my laptop checked. Let's see what tomorrow brings. There was no sunrise photo today for it's not that interesting but I was able to take a photo of moonset. I was able to watch two movies today and that's the most number of movies I have watched in a day for a long time. Sometimes we can only watch one after starting a lot of movies that we can't finish because we lost interest. The bad thing about having too many choices is that you can't focus on one. Here in read, of you have noticed, I can't reply to your comments right away but don't worry for I read them all and reply to them whenever I can. It rains here every afternoon still and it's good for it cools down the temperature making it all the better to enjoy sleeping. How was your weekend? What movies did you watch today?
