The rabbit hole of curiosity
Has it ever happened to you that you decide to read some information 5 minutes before going to sleep and when you realize it, 2 hours have already passed? Well, it happened to me yesterday.
Although, to be honest, it is something that often happens to me. That's why when I'm in a hurry I avoid checking pages like Wikipedia that have a lot of internal links to new and interesting information.
Well, yesterday before I went to sleep I saw a thread on twitter about one of the dragons from the House of the Dragon series and one of the names mentioned made me curious. The truth is that this spin off of Game of Thrones has not caught my attention, so much so that I have stopped watching the series after 4 episodes.

And that is basically how curiosity works. You come for something and end up staying longer and longer as you discover interesting stories and facts.
It can happen with recreational elements such as fictional stories or during real investigations on historical facts of humanity. Curiosity is a bottomless pit unable to fill.

Hi, it's Monday again. Perhaps for many it is the day that costs the most work of the whole week because it is the one that breaks the ice after the Sunday break.

**Inflate**: in my country it is said that someone inflates when they have no idea about something and want to pass because they know about it. It is very common to do it during school work when you only have basic knowledge and you start adding words and situations in the hope of hitting the nail on the head and correctly answering the questions of the class. It is also widely used when you do not want to lose a client because you do not know how to provide a service and since the client supposedly knows less than you, you start to inflate to save time and investigate how it is done.
**Medieval**: it is possibly the time of humanity that lasted the longest since our era began to count. Many have romanticized it through movies and stories, but it was a stage of humanity with many nuances. Slavery, wars, conquests, Inquisition, science, art, all mixed together; at times some things were prohibited and then encouraged. Of course, it has left us incredible stories and historical processes from which a lot can be learned.
**Nature**: it is our everything, without it we would not exist and yet many insist on damaging it. Nature gives us balance and spending a day immersed in it can heal our soul. Unfortunately, we humans insist on living in increasingly gray places without vegetation. By damaging nature we are sowing our own ruin as a species.
**Owner**: Well, it's a goal, at least for me. Being the owner of a business that allows me to live well without having to exploit myself by working. Of course, to achieve this requires a lot of sacrifice and work. Currently, together with my father, I have a small craft wine business, but my goal is greater and for this I am saving. We'll see what the future holds for me and if everything goes well.
**Freshman**: for me it is someone who starts out full of energy and illusions, with great motivation to do things and who, in general, brings new ideas.

Halloween or Day of the Deads
A date is approaching that I have never really celebrated, in my country until recently it was a normal day like any other. What happens is that this is an increasingly globalized and interconnected world, which makes it very easy to spread traditions from one place to another.
Of course I'm talking about Halloween. As I said, it is not bad that in a place where there is no tradition of this type, those of other places are adopted, especially when they are for celebration and joy. What I do see wrong is when a country has its own party and tradition that is just as interesting and fun and begins to abandon it or replace it with a foreign one just because it is more commercial or “popular”.
Although the best-known celebration is Halloween, which is celebrated on October 31, there are others just as impressive and culturally rich that are celebrated very close to this date. I'm talking about the celebration for the Day of the Dead and the celebration for All Saints' Day.

All Saints' Day is a Christian solemnity celebrated on November 1 for Catholic churches. And it is that in pre-Hispanic times the cult of death was one of the basic elements of the culture of the region. Is the end of read.cash and the human writing?
Everyone here likes in one way or another to write, create content and share experiences. Usually, too, we support other people's talent and encourage them to continue creating and writing.
But can we feel confident that what we read was written by a person and not by an artificial intelligence? For now we can say yes, but with each passing day we will get closer to a future where this is not the case.
The reason is the technological advance that artificial intelligence (AI) represents, as it gains in power and training, it is capable of doing increasingly spectacular things. There are already platforms where by introducing a few words accompanied by a sketch or an image they are able to transform them and give us spectacular results.
Anyone who saw them would say they are the work of a highly talented digital artist, however they are generated in just minutes by an AI. These results are impressive, but they are only the beginning stage. This indicates that in the future, the graphic design profession will change completely and these professionals will have to adapt to a reality where people from their homes write what they want in a system and obtain immediate results for a very low cost.
And if this is so with images, where in just months they have begun to change the game, what will happen when these AIs are focused on the field of literature and writing? Will the jobs of copywriters, journalists, web editors, etc. disappear?
How can we read something or someone and be sure that this story is the product of the human imagination and not the mixture of words and styles of a machine? Will people continue to write or will they turn to these softwares to do most of the work for them?
There are many questions that still have no answer and that when the time comes for it to happen, it will divide opinions.
Unfortunately, the world has not developed in the same way, and although there are countries that are better prepared for the rapid changes that technology brings, most are not. And they are not, not because they cannot assimilate these advances, but because socially the impacts would be very negative if technology replaces human workers and they are not given new work and income alternatives.
Returning to the subject of AI and writing, there are already applications where it is used, either to scan texts for plagiarism, to summarize them or to paraphrase and rewrite those same texts so that plagiarism alarms do not go off. Will AIs replace artists or will artists and writers use them to take their art to the next level?

A necessary evil?
Who doesn't hate waiting hours or even days to solve a problem or obtain a certificate that takes minutes to do? Well, basically that is bureaucratism, filling some activity with unnecessary, mechanical and unnecessary procedures.
Bureaucrats by intention or lack of motivation, in general, delay their functions even more. Actions that would take 5 minutes can take hours, and, in the end, those of us who suffer are the people who need that service.
Imagine going to the bank for an account statement certificate and having to wait hours for them to take your data in 5 minutes and then have to go another day to queue for another hour to pick it up. How much time wasted?
Actions that would take less than 1 minute if they were digitized and you could execute them from your cell phone.
Yes, perhaps for many of you this is unheard of, but in Cuba, my country, things are like that for almost everything. The technological infrastructure is super backward, but the mental infrastructure of those who run the different levels of the state is even worse.
A country where there are more or almost as many bureaucratic officials as there are people producing goods cannot advance or achieve a better level of social welfare for its citizens. The computerization of the processes is urgent, but when there is excessive bureaucracy, corruption also arises; and this is why resources are diverted and do not go where they are needed.
Unfortunately, while the automation and opening of the processes is achieved, something that may take many years, it will be up to us Cubans to arm ourselves with patience every time we want to carry out some legal procedure.
However, I have to say something to you who read me.
If you are an official or work with the public, do not take longer than necessary. Remember that whoever comes to you has a need, but also take it for granted that at some time you will be the one who needs to carry out a process and you would not like to have to wait longer than necessary.

Intersex, what it is?
Sexuality is as diverse as humanity itself. And sometimes we can confuse some terms due to ignorance. That is why in this post I will tell you in a precise and respectful way what intersexuality is.
What is intersex?
Intersexuality is when there is a discrepancy between the internal and external genitalia.
People who are born with sexual or reproductive organs that are not traditionally considered male or female are called intersex. It is a bodily variation, but it is not a medical problem or pathology.
Scientifically, intersexuality can be classified into 4 categories.
Intersexuality XX or Female Pseudohermaphroditism
In this case, the person genetically has the chromosomes of a woman (XX) and has ovaries. But the external genitalia have a masculine appearance.
The major labia of the vagina fuse together and the clitoris enlarges to appear like a penis. Normally these people have a normal uterus and fallopian tubes.
XY intersex or male pseudohermaphroditism
This case is the opposite of the previous one. The person has the male chromosomes (XY) but the external genitalia are not fully formed or are clearly female.
This XY intersexuality has its explanation because the male genitalia need an adequate balance between female and male hormones for their formation.
True gonadal intersex
Those who classify within this intersexuality have ovarian and testicular tissue equally. They may have an ovary below the testicle or suffer from ovotestis (have both tissues in the same gonad).
The appearance of the genitalia can be ambiguous or with marked feminine or masculine characteristics.
The main causes of true hermaphroditism (as it is also known) are unknown.
Gonadal dysgenesis or complex intersexuality
Complex intersex is characterized by having different chromosome combinations than normal combinations (XX or XY).
Chromosome combinations can be simple (XO, only one X chromosome). This condition only occurs in women and is not preventable because it occurs at the time of conception. **It is the only viable monosomy (absence of chromosome) in humans because the absence of any other chromosome is fatal.**
The absence of the Y chromosome determines that the sex is female and the lack of another X chromosome causes the absence of some sexual characteristics. This causes permanent infertility in those who suffer from this condition.
Also those with gonadal dysgenesis may have extra chromosomes (XXX or XXY). It is based on a genetic alteration caused by the incorrect separation of chromosomes.
In cases of complex intersexuality there is usually no discrepancy between the external and internal genitalia. Either they are both men's or they are both women's. But they can cause hormonal problems and sexual development.
Intersex people and sexual preferences
As you may have learned, intersex is not a sexual preference or a gender identity, it is a physiological characteristic.
An intersex person can identify as a man, woman or non-binary person in the same way that a person without this condition can. They can also choose the sexual orientation they want.
Due to the taboos and prejudices of society, they can be subjected at an early age to surgical procedures and hormonal treatments. Actions that can cause irreversible damage and consequences such as chronic pain or loss of sexual pleasure.
All this is completely unnecessary in most cases and only it has the sole purpose of adapting them to the traditional stereotype of man or woman. That is why what is recommended is that intersex bodies should not be intervened without the free and informed consent of the people. It doesn't matter if you are still a child or a teenager.

First of all, let me tell you that for a few days it seems that I have caught the flu, so I am a little slow in all my activities as a result of the discomfort I feel. However, I decided that this was not going to stop me from writing, so here I am.

Let’s see what I have to say about them below.
Counter
There is much to say, or rather, there are many ways to interpret this word to say something. Well, it can be understood as the opposite, someone you have to face or who wishes you some harm. Sometimes one has to confront these types of people directly to defend ourselves from their attacks; and at other times it is better to ignore them altogether.
However, it can also be parsed as a counter. That person who keeps the accounts of a business or helps prepare people's taxes. An accountant is important because it allows you to know if you are using your money well and, above all, it helps you prepare your taxes so that you comply with tax obligations and at the same time benefit from some tax refunds or exemptions.
Cave
A cave is that geographical accident where the human being lived in prehistoric times. It is home to many species of bats. It is also that mysterious place where pirates hid their treasures and that today can be very curious to explore.
Who doesn't feel like an Indiana Jones exploring a cave? Who does not think of himself as an adventurer camping one night in a cave with his friends?
Duck
When I read this word, the first thing that comes to mind is Donald Duck from Mickey Mouse. That was always my favorite of that cartoon gang when he was a kid, always getting mad, always going wrong for him.
What memories of spending hours watching cartoons in front of the TV!
Help
It is what we all need, although many prefer not to admit it or ask for help. At some point in our lives we will need this kind of support and in many other cases, although we do not need it to achieve our goals, it will be easier for us to obtain it if we have someone's help.
It is what should be offered to another person who needs it without expecting anything in return.
History
It is our past, either individually or as a society. We can turn to it to study it and learn from mistakes. There is a saying that says: "who does not know history is condemned to repeat it" and it is true.
In history are all the achievements of humanity, but there are also all its errors and barbarities. And it is precisely studying the latter and their consequences that will help us avoid performing or falling into similar actions or situations.
But history is also fantasies and legends, those invented by writers and storytellers and those that have passed from generation to generation since time immemorial.

Don't be afraid of ask for help
What do you do when you don't feel desires of writing? No, I don't mean when you have no inspiration, I mean when you have no desire to write or practically do anything.
It is normal for human beings to get depressed from time to time. It can be a mild and short depression or a deeper and longer depression.
How do you solve that situation? You ask for help or try to solve it yourself.
I want to tell you that asking for help is not a bad thing, nor does it make you weak or less respectable. In fact, asking for help during a depression can save your life.
It is true that some people can overcome this emotional state on their own, but most simply end up postponing the definitive solution while they accumulate negative feelings and that is not healthy.
Mental health is often underestimated, when it is just as important as physical health. Just as you go to the hospital when you have an ailment in your body, do not hesitate to ask for help when you are in a negative emotional situation or depressed.

Have you ever noticed how many things you take for granted on a daily basis? Most human beings take it for granted that the good things in our lives are inherent to us and will always be there. Nothing is further from reality.
Take for example basic human rights, I am sure that in the range of people reading this article, there are some who have in their places of origin some more rights than I have in my country, and vice versa.
To the extent that I participate, in one way or another, in the fight to change my country for the better (with all the risks that facing a dictatorship brings), I am aware that there are some things that I have to be thankful for.
Don't take freedom for granted, even less if few years ago we or our fathers have to fight for that rights.
It is not about settling for what we have or with the idea that there is someone worse. It is about that, although it does not affect us, we must not allow the rights of other people to be limited or denied. This is how totalitarianism begins, affecting the rights of a minority while the rest of the population does not manifest itself because "it does not affect them".
When they come to us with speeches and promises, or spreading blame to others, we must be mature enough to investigate on our own and avoid being manipulated. Any different opinion can be respected, as long as it is not intended to minimize someone or deny them their basic human rights.
Regardless of race, color, gender, ethnic or social origin, religion, language, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other distinguishing characteristic, we all have the same rights.

I live in Cuba, a country where for ask Freedom or point the failure or corruption of the government can send you many years to prison. The government deploy a hug marketing campaign to international level to avoid the totalitarian image, but we the people suffer the lack of liberties.
Many young persons are in prison for pacific protest against the government, meanwhile a pro-government music is in his house after sexually abuse of at least 30 women.

Are you taking advantage of the time? It is a simple and at the same time complicated question.
The truth is, there are endless external factors that influence us to do certain things more or less quickly, but in the end, taking advantage of time depends exclusively on us.
Maybe you never asked yourself this question and now you are confused? It is normal, most of us let ourselves be carried away by the circumstances of life, we accept what touches us and give up our aspirations.

One of the main problems we have is that we want to save at the end of the month with what we have left after spending; and so it is impossible. Bleach is here. After almost 10 years of waiting, the famous anime series Bleach has been resumed.
Didn't I tell you that I love anime? Well now you know.
Precisely Bleach is the series by which I got hooked in this world of anime. And it's one of my favorites.
Bleach is a manga and anime series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. The history is about the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who accidentally absorbs the powers of a shinigami (Japanese personification of the God of death) called Rukia Kuchiki. Once Ichigo obtains these power, is forced to guide good souls after death and defend them from hollows (evil spirits that try to eat them).
The emision of the anime started in october of 2004 and ends in march of 2012.
Well, yesterday I saw the first chapter of the new story arc. After 10 years they decided to go ahead with another part of his history.
However, I don't know if it's because of the expectation or because of the time I've spent without seeing this series, but I felt this first chapter was a bit weak. Or maybe it's because it's the first chapter and I needed to introduce the new story.
Now waiting for the second chapter I am faced with a dilemma:
I watch the chapters every week as they come out.
I let them build up and then I watch them all as a marathon.
The truth is that the second option is the one I like, but the expectation and the knowledge that there is a new chapter available makes it difficult for me.

The music of our lives
There is music to accompany every moment of our lives, as if this were a movie with a soundtrack. Honestly, I'm not a music lover, but I am able to listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood and the environment where I am.
However, I confess, I almost never listen to music. In fact, I can go weeks without playing a song on my cell phone. Of course, when I listen to music I always prefer the happy ones.
Those rhythms that make you move your whole body and fill you with energy to the brim. Do you know what I'm talking about?
One of those musical genres that when you're a little down make you get up and feel like you can take on the world.
For many years I stopped having a favorite singer or band, I started enjoying everything. Although yes, there are certain artists who, due to the negative attitude of their person, sometimes I reject their songs.
I am from Cuba, the largest island in the Caribbean. We are a country that has one of the richest rhythmic and musical histories in the world. Many of the musical genres that are danced around the world today have come from here: mambo, son, salsa, guaguancó, etc. Or they have rhythmic bases inspired by our music
All these rhythms, together with the African rhythms that we inherited and transformed, come together and mix in contemporary Cuban music.
A musical genre that has had a special evolution in Cuba has been reggaeton. By incorporating Cuban bases, it has been transformed into subgenres such as: cubatón, timbatón, reparto, traptón.
This music emerged from the humblest bases of the town, where all the experiences, desires and sexuality of the people are exacerbated, it makes the feeling that runs through your blood activate and you want to jump to dance.
Among the artists that I like the most in this type of genre are Yomil Y el Dany (since Dany passed away 2 years ago, the other member of the group, Yomil, has kept the name to keep his legacy alive) and El Chulo.
