My hotel got it perfect this time. NOT. When I booked my room I asked for a room on the 2nd floor. They gave me a room on the 1st floor. My wife and I are just frigging burnt out! We just had a week long vacation at the beginning of August in Cape San Blas, Florida, and while it was fun, peaceful, and relaxing, it just did not do the trick to really recharge the batteries. Kind of worked out well today for a Monday. Stock order will be pushed to Tuesday, but will come late in the day so we won't have to count it down until Wednesday. Last night we just had a simple dinner of chicken nuggets and French fries. I changed it up just a wee bit by wrapping the nuggets with strips of ham and baking them. They were really good. As we were eating them I thought, these might be even better had I also put a little bit of Swiss cheese between the nugget and the ham. Maybe the next time I make these. Decided tonight to order Chinese from our favorite Chinese place and have it delivered. We got the usual fare. I like the beef pepper steak with pork fried rice and egg rolls, and the wife likes General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and egg rolls. We also got sides of one quart of shrimp fried rice, 8 crab Rangoons, and fried baby shrimp. Got it all done for about $45, with tip, which for us is much less than we typically will spend. It is Cal, the warehouse cat's favorite day. Friday. The biggest problem I have with crypto is that I cannot spend it. I mean, it's great and all. But if no one accepts it as payment, I am as good as someone standing in front of a vending machine with $20 in my pocket and still can't buy a bag of chips because the machine only accepts coins. It is going to be a very busy day today. Hosting a barbecue with the fam to celebrate my mom's 71st birthday. Grayson likes to play with caps of all sorts. He bats them around the house and chases them and has loads of fun with them.
