A few weeks ago I posted an article about a major decision I needed to make in light of our warehouse worker finding a new job. He stuck around for a bit longer, but he is now moving on and his last day is the 15th of October. https://read.cash/@Porwest/a-major-decision-in-the-next-couple-of-weeks-1c3543ff The good news is that I have had assurances that a new guy is in the works already, and he may even start this week to train with our current warehouse guy. So, as it stands right now, it seems my decision will be to stick around as well. It IS reassuring to know that the boss KNOWS what my decision will be without a warehouse guy, and is doing his best to keep me around as well.

Good to know that you are sticking around in your job and your boss thought highly of you and got you some much needed help.
So long as a "process" is in place to bring in a new warehouse guy, I am onboard. The boss knows I can afford to quit. And I suppose I do enough for him to not want that to happen. I am in sales, and even though I am paid a quite high commission, I still bring in a very nice amount for the company... And since he is paid entirely on commission, that's something he does not want to part with.
Makes sense. Was in sales. Got moved to tech support. Ugh! No rhyme or reason. Previous manager who said that he will move e back full-time in sales got booted out. There goes my chance of going in sales full time. Although, I didn't thought they'd move me to tech support. Even though, I wasn't full time in sales, I was contributing. I'm almost done with this company.
Yeah. Unfortunately if the company is not fulfilling your own personal goals and aspirations, probably best to seek one out that will.
Got to watch after myself. No one is going to do that for me but me.

True. Corporations look after themselves, why should I be any different?
