In this series, I assume the role of a reader instead of a writer, discussing articles by other writers... things I recommend.

As this is the first edition of “Suggested Reading” this year,I take the opportunity to wish all members of Read.cash a Happy & Prosperous 2022! I'm sure we will see many exciting things unfold in the cryptospace this year.

January 3. A new birthday for Bitcoin Cash claims @Jnavedan, and he is right. If you wonder why, read his article.

Another article by the same author, NFT, Will change the world? - Risks behind the euphoria, warns about too much optimism. This is justified. It is easy to see only the benefits of NTFs, or any new invention, and forget that the Big Brothers of this world can (and will) twist it and use it for their purposes as well. We must be ready to counter that, but if nobody sees this risk, there will be no defence available.

The NFT Revolution Will Not Be Gamified, Yet... writes @oyl.

Positive or negative about cryptocurrency? Well, Its All About Perspective according to @Shohana.

Veteran @Fexonice1 wrote SmartBCH, a gate way for the world to discover the potentials of BCH, and it might very well be so. The author is very enthusiastic about SmartBCH, and I also think there is good reason to be so. He wrote:

“With SmartBCH the BCH future we will have been looking forward to has begun. It is important to understand what this SmartBCH is about, the benefits and implications, and it is important to promote this revolutionary project, even more important to spread this knowledge to as many people as possible. And with the arrival of the BCH Evolution, SmartBCH will be the foundation for many new BCH projects that will help make BCH a serious contender in the crypto space.”

Decentralized Finance will make you millionaire in a day claims @Naturalist. Perhaps that is a slight exaggeration, but the author convincingly explains why it is financially advantageous for the individual.

Then we two articles by always well writing @Pantera: The Metaverse Wars and SmartBCH For Beginners: Start Here! The latter one is a good introduction to SmartBCH for those who still does not understand very much about it.

Now we leave crypto, looking at a post on physics. Another article by @Naturalist, Fifth state of matter, describes the Bose-Einstein condensate.

New member @Angelken writes about The different theories of energy.

Another promising new member is @Florina45, whose latest article is About Human Brain.

In an old article by @Purebeauty, a member who has not been online the last 8 months, we can read that The secret of beautiful tomatoes lies in the seeds.

I want to bring up 2 articles by @DocLayla: Beyond right and wrong, an interesting discussion about he subjectivity of values as right and wrong; and Control and Choice.

@Sammy1 writes about Practical wisdom versus lies what is their difference? A philosophically interesting discussion.

We are never ready: Only Prepared, says @Giddyboy, and he is absolutely right. What he says remind me of my uncle, who always said that ”The art of planning well, includes a plan to quickly change the plans in front of the unforeseen.”

Fasting, The Cheapest Anti-Cancer Solution claims @Gemstone. This is a topic I am extremely well acquainted with; the author is right. Regular fasting is the easiest and cheapest method to decrease the risk for cancer – and, if you already have it, it is sometimes a good contributive method in curing it. However, while fasting to prevent cancer is efficient and without any danger whatsoever, fasting cannot be recommended in all cases of cancer, so tread with some caution there.

@VoluntaryJapan, a consistent advocate of Voluntaryism, recently published You Are Not a "Citizen" or a Peasant — You Are Human.

Why do we need a family ?! asks @Blogika. In the article, she tries to give an answer.

@Theblackdoll says that Re-wearing is Okay!!, which is an article about using one's resources well.

In Who will win?, @Belozoriana discusses if handwriting will be able to survive in competition with typing. It's a justified question, and it is a pity if children start typing direct, never learning handwriting. While it is true that also typing develops certain motor ability, it is not comparable to what handwriting does. It has also been shown that handwriting develops intelligence. This is not surprising, given how much hand ability is connected to brain power. In the end, shaping different letters with an ordinary pen, requires much more motor ability than pressing various buttons or keys.

Are you interested in languages? Then you should read My Ramblings Regarding the Baltic Peoples and Their Languages by @Izjaslaw.Katsumijovich.Naoki.

So for all cat lovers: The top 10 benefits of having a Cat in your life by new member @BuildingDreams.

Finally some fiction: The Evil Hair!!!! in 3 parts, by @Theblackdoll. The third part gives links to part 1 and 2 as well. The Evil Hair!! - Part 3 (Finale).

Then, I recommend @Ozzyy, who regularly writes fiction, often in long series. Just visit this author's profile and start to read. It's worth the while.

Read the whole series, ”Suggested Reading” and my series “Retrospection”.
