Read.cash fam! It's a Monday, the most hated day of the week and everyone is probably getting ready for this stress filled day or perhaps already engrossed in the stress, depending on your time zone and how early you're expected to be at work. Mondays are so much hated by a lot of people including myself especially since it totally cuts short the rest and escapades we enjoyed during the weekends. I mean, weekends are so fun that we don not want it to end- while a lot of us spend time with family, some spend it with friends, some indoor in front of the TV, on their laptops or smartphones while watching their favourite movies and blah blah. There is an endless possible number of ways of having fun during the weekends which no one experience all at once, but the little we spend time doing is actually worth the time- more reasons we wouldn't want the weekends to end.
While others were enjoying themselves during the weekends, I sat at the same spot throughout the day while staring at my laptop screen in search of the impossible. I'm glad to say that this impossible was found and the result is worth the wait. I'd rather not go further as I wouldn't want to spoil the fun and would love to talk about it some other time. Hint- I bought it at $341, whoever can guess what it is gets $10.
While the weekend was meant to be fun, mine was super stressful as already mentioned above, plus a little bit of headache from staring at the blue screen all day and all night long. I haven't been using my glasses for some time, I decided to push it aside since the lens are no longer as effective and I may need to get a new one since it's about 5 months since I got the current one. The headache had to be ignored since I was after something greater and couldn't pause it in between or the whole stress and search for hours would have been rendered meaningless. After all I'm a goal chaser and I'm not the kind to give up easily regardless of how difficult and inconvenient situations may be.
Now, today is a Monday-0h how I hate today the same way I hate every other day of the week since I basically do the same thing everyday, No rest, just work, work, and more work in a bid to make life easier and perhaps retire at the age of 30. I'm doing everything within my power to gather as much as I can while also keeping my health in check so I would be alive to spend my money in my own way. I mean, what's the point of all these stress if I wouldn't get to spend my own money and someone else spends it for me after I'm gone- random thoughts.
Being throughout the weekends is a major reason I couldn't interact as much as I used to. In fact, my interaction reduced drastically in the past few days due to being busy plus Malaria's hold on me. Though I feel a bit better, yet I still need to rest so I recover full from all things stress and sickness related. Due to the need for rest, I had to skip writing yesterday- this is something I haven't done in a very long time since it defeats my "*yes to writing everyday*" challenge. Well, it's completely understandable since my health is more important and I'd only be able to write if I remain alive.
Although it's a Monday, it's a no stress day for me as I'm gonna remain on bed all day while having breakfast in bed, dinner and perhaps lunch as well. I wanna flex my ability to relax when I want, after all I deserve this rest. The past few days have been super stressful but I've proved to be stronger, but this time I don't wanna prove anything to anyone anymore but simply sleep!

Health plus Pegaxy Update

I mentioned earlier in Having malaria symptoms that I feel weird and have got a headache plus a bit of malaria symptoms due to exposure to Mosquitoes in the past few weeks. I had to take a walk to the pharmacy this morning, after which I got some medications which helped relief this weird feeling. Though I'm not totally fine as Malaria doesn't simply vanish in the twinkle of an eyes, yet I can say that I feel a bit better than I felt in the early hours of today. After getting medications from the Pharmacy, I did the needful and went to bed. Basically, I was on bed for most part of the day and it was enjoyable. I found it enjoyable because my body has been craving this kind of rest for too long but life's struggles has not been allowing this wish to come true. But all thanks to Malaria, I can finally rest without feeling guilty or feeling like there's something I'm deliberately ignoring.
I stayed on bed all day while also communicating with my Best friend as a means of passing time since I was finding it difficult to fall asleep. We talked about the fact that I needed to rest often as I was always pushing myself even when my health was at stake. She advised I try to sleep early each night while ensuring I switch off my phone before doing so as a means of eliminating distractions from a sound sleep. She really cares about me, she does, and it's evident in her actions.
Things have been like that since we became friends and we've been best friends ever since. We sometimes argue about who cares the most and I feel like I should win this. Unfortunately, women are always right hence I shouldn't argue but accept defeat... Lol!
Apart from the fact that I stayed on bed all day, I tried to be active on the Chad's P3 racing server in a bid to get lucky since I'm aspiring to be a Pegaxy scholar. As an ordinary member of the guild (not a scholar), your names will appear in the white colour, once you're added to the applicants it will become orange and when you receive your Pega it becomes red (the colour we're all looking forward to).
I tried to be a bit active so I wouldn't miss any update as your activities and what you have to offer really matters on the server in order to get picked. While doing so, I noticed that new people were being added to the applicant's list, and kaboom I was picked as well. My colour instantly changed from white to Orange and the scholar's chat was opened for me as well.
I can imagine how @sequoia must have felt at that point since she was among those that were picked as well. She expressed her excitement in Her special day is my lucky day which she posted about 6 hours ago from the time of writing. Having Malaria symptoms

I don't know what's happening to me but I've been feeling terribly tired lately. I tend to get tired easily and at the same time have been having a head splitting headache. Though I've been having a load of sleepless nights, yet I can't totally say the sleepless nights are at play as I'm not new into the business of staying awake all day and all night long. I've literally become a night crawler. It's basically become a part of me and no longer feel the effect of sleeping only three to four hours everyday. The only thing I'm considering at this point is that I may be having malaria as I've been exposed to lot of mosquitoes lately.
I've been away from home for the past two weeks and it's been super stressful for me as already mentioned in unending loop of life's stress. Though I've been going through a lot of stress, he stress isn't the deal but the fact that where I'm staying at the moment has a lot of mosquitoes which intend to suck me dry. The blood sucking monsters have been terrorizing me for days and there's no escaping it. A friend with whom I stay had his share of Malaria since early last week and just recovered about two days ago after a whole lot of treatment. Looks like it's my turn to shine. The only difference is that I'd attack this malaria with full force before it takes over fully. I'd be taking a walk to the pharmacy to get some Anti-malaria as a preventive measure so it wouldn't get worse past this point, plus some pain killers and blah blah as prescribed by the pharmacist.
All I've been feeling for the past few days is simply a headache which begins late evening and stays all through the night till the early part of the morning where it disappears into thin air. I've ignored it for two days now, but if this continues I may have to break down completely and will result in me having to go to the hospital for treatment- which is something I'm trying to avoid as it will affect all things work related. I've got a lot of commitments lately and I can't afford to risk losing this good thing I have.
I know my health is more important, which is why I'm trying to get myself treated as quickly before it escalates into something I wouldn't be able to handle on my own. Speaking of health, I haven't used my hypertension medications in over a week. Truth is I've been trying to avoid those medications for a while as they're causing me to lose weight. Unfortunately, there's no escaping it as it's essential for my survival, especially if I intend to live a long life.
I spent most part of my night on a conversation with best friend while I also tried to be active on discord since I was trying to get a Pegaxy scholarship on the Chap's P3 racing guild. I'm hoping I wake up tomorrow and see myself a scholar since I've been actively contributing to the server and making a lot of friends in the process. Though being active on the server has not been easy since I've been doing a lot of things at once lately, these things have been stressful and I'm simply pushing through until I'm able to achieve the purpose of leaving my comfort zone.

Happy birthday to my younger sister

It's my younger sisters birthday today. You may find it weird that I have a younger sister that is very young, its coincidental that she came really late after I and my elder sister were already grown. She's just Eleven (11) years old today and she's a very happy kid. Smarter than her age, taller than most kids her age and super intelligent. Being the best student in quantitative reasoning and mathematics each time isn't a joke init. I'd rather not go further in this journey of glorification. But all I'd say is that I'm proud of my sister.
I'm wishing her many more years of fun, happiness, sound health, goodness and all good things of life. She can be such a disturbance but I appreciate this disturbance even up to an atomic scale.
Coincidentally, my elder sister's birthday was also two weeks back, the 19th of February, Best friends birthday was on the 12th of February while mine would be coming up on the 6th of April. In the end it's a big family of February, march, and April of birthdays...yipee!
You may find it weird but this is 5 pm at the time of writing and I still haven't called my younger sister to tell her happy birthday. It's not entirely my fault as I have been feeling kind of strange since yesterday.
I got a load of headache due to mental stress plus I may be having malaria symptoms. I basically stayed on bed all day and didn't get out of bed until this evening around 4pm after which I spoke with my Best friend and teased her a bit about how romantic I am and how I am the best option for her. Lol! I told her I'm not only available but romantic and financially stable since that's what a majority of women want... lol! Don't quote me, it's only a joke.
I last spoke with my younger sister was two weeks ago via video call where we talked about random cartoons and was requesting permission to download certain games in her smartphone as her phone was on parental guidance. I insisted I wasn't going to tell her the password but was going to remotely grant the app permission from my end.
Anyway, I'd call her after writing and give her some sweet words over the phone since that's what ladies enjoy hearing. I'd tell her I love her and bribe her with a little cash.. haha.. younger sister loves money.

**10. VR**
The Simpsons didn't predict VR at all, that was a concept that's been around for a long time it's just now getting good. I mean recently I got an oculus and I’m not gonna lie to You, I felt sick when tried to use it. You have to throw items at bad guys and I actually get anxious. My heart races, this is a very powerful technology.
The Simpsons predicted that VR could possibly go wrong back in 2016. The episode titled friends and family has the town excited over this new tech that's finally arrived and they're so into it that eventually people are walking in the streets wearing these goggles. They're getting hit by cars, they're losing touch with reality.
**9. Mars life**
The Simpsons showed a family’s visit to the big red planet come 2051, but honestly I think we'll get there a lot sooner. SpaceX is already planning to send people out there it's crazy it's happening so fast. It's just a quick nine-month trip there so make sure your phone is charged and also you gotta watch out for the galactic cosmic rays. It's actually more beneficial for the team to travel during the peak times around 2030 and 2050 because trips to the planet will be shorter for one which is great and they'll also coincide with periods of solar maximum. So while this one may not come true in 2022, it’s definitely around the corner.
**8. Robots**
We're at a point now where robots can straight up do parkour, Boston dynamics is trending every other week. Half the time I can't even tell if their videos are real or if they're CGI. I mean, I watch a lot of YouTube videos and I see a lot of them. The robots are too impressive.
The Simpsons have touched on robots taken over, that was an idea that's been done a few times. In 2012, they predicted that a great amount of jobs would be lost to the robots. But back in 1994 the Simpsons episode titled itchy an scratchy land showed a theme park full of robots that go crazy and attack civilians.
Also we have Sophia the robot. Now she's actually been on talk shows, it's like a real person, she has a citizenship, she's the first robot to receive citizenship from a country- Saudi Arabia. https://www.hansonrobotics.com/sophia/
She was also on the CNBC saying that she wanted to destroy humans at one point so that's neat. This could slowly be underway, mean I hope not.
**7. Dome sweet dome**
For this one we're looking at the Simpsons movie, if you haven't seen it check it out.
With the pandemic seeming to never end can we possibly see our own towns domed up? This idea came long before the Simpsons movie.
Back in the 70s, there were talks about putting a dome over Manhattan, a three-kilometre dome over midtown that regulates weather and pollution. It sounds fun but imagine if that actually had been built, imagine what we have been doing with it now. During the initial Covid outbreak would have been madness, people would have been storming it like a castle.
In 2010 there was a city planned that was supposed to be built in 2020, it was called ECO city, it was supposed to be built in the Mir mine in Siberia, it was announced in 2014 officially. This climate-controlled dome city- four and a half square kilometres but since 2016 the project lost the dome.
**6. The world cup**
n episode from 1997 called the cartridge family shows Mexico and Portugal going head-to-head in football. Springfield residents are told to go see this match to determine which nation is the greatest on earth between Mexico and Portugal.
In 2018. when the world cup rolled around fans were excited that this was actually coming true but at the same time, they had a laugh determining that Ronaldo must have missed that penalty intentionally that the prediction would come true. Although I think that was just a mistake but recently it's been announced that Qatar will host the tournament in November/ December 2022 rather than usual June/ July dates. Another world cup, another chance for the Simpsons to add another prediction to their impressive list.
**5. Flying cars**
We've been talking about flying cars for so long, I wouldn't even call this a Simpson’s prediction anymore but they've nailed it before so who knows. This year could be the year we say goodbye to tires forever.
In 2005, Professor Fink created this machine to let Bart and Lisa see the future. The future at that point was 2013 which is long since passed but Mag had left Homer because he spent all their savings on an underwater house but also in this episode, we see hover cars come.
Surprisingly, there are already flying cars in production and one such company already received flying license.
**4. Music control**
You ever listen to an album and it's so good that it moves you? Sometimes it'll literally move you. You have to go and bop around in the kitchen for a bit. #
In 2001 an episode called “new kids on the bleak” showed Bart in a band that was secretly a mind control device for the navy. Subliminal messaging through music.
One of their most popular tracks was called drop the bomb so obviously it was a bit more obvious where they're going, but this isn't a new idea either. Many people have thought that hip-hop brainwashes people, even the game” like the artist”. The game believes that the internet is brainwashing people into enjoying whack music.
**3. VR food**
The Simpson’s had their 600th episode centered around VR. As I mentioned earlier, it's a pretty big deal, It's a technology that's changing lives, and those midnight snacks might get a whole lot better in the future.
The Simpsons predicted that this virtual reality food might just be a thing. Scientists at Cornell university found out that cheese tastes better when you eat it in a certain pleasant VR setting. So if you see me eating shredded cheese at 2am naked with goggles on in my room leave me alone
**2. Digital Big ben**
In an episode from 1995, the future shows Lisa traveling to England to meet her future husband's parents and the big ben is digital at this point. Now today construction is still being done on the big Ben and we won't hear its chimes until next summer, but can you imagine when they finally reveal it? Instead of a chime you hear a beep, imagine every hour you get a notification instead of hearing those lovely bells?
**1. Hologram mail**
Coming from season 11, episode 17 - Bart to the future, we get another tease at some future tech. A mailman gives Bart a letter, but it packs quite the punch. Bart opens it up and the letter is in 4d. It's like a hologram person, it's almost like Star Wars. Honestly since I saw Star Wars when I was a little, I thought I always wanted that technology in my life.

How to avoid toxic friends

Having just one toxic friend can make your health decline. Imagine if you have many friends like that in a circle of friends, you can be stressed and exposed to many diseases so avoid this type of toxic friends for your own health.
A toxic friend as a person who makes you always feel stressed. When you are near him or her, they will compete with you, try to change you. They may not be reliable, argumentative or expect too much from you. This behaviour can cause you to experience increased stress and anxiety in a dangerous direction. 10 ways to do stay away from toxic friends around you in the following ways.
**1. Limit interaction**
Reduce your interactions with toxic friends. If you usually hang out together or do activities together then set your time so that you no longer see them often. Occasionally allowed to establish relationships but not to become close friends.
**2. Go when discussing negative topics**
When your toxic friends start discussing negative things, then it's an alarm for you to leave. Let them know that you really don't want to discuss such things. Pretend to be busy taking a call or just going to the bathroom.
**3. Trying to be neutral**
Toxic friends often ask for opinions or justifications about negative things that he shares with people around. If he or she views or calls your name, try to be neutral and not justify his or her opinion. Don't forget to smile and leave.
**4. Control reaction and tone of speech**
Try not to overreact or get triggered when dealing with toxic friends. hey are actually happy when you are in that condition, use a cool head and set your speech as soon as possible while going away from them.
**5. Ask for help from others**
Often there are those who don't want to refuse toxic friends. If that happens to you try asking friends or family to help pull you away from them. When you are invited to go just say you are busy at a family event or ask friends to pick you up when you are stuck hanging out with them.
**6. Eliminate pity**
Get used to eliminating feelings of pity or discomfort to toxic friends. They are good at using compassion so they can continue to ensnare you nearby.
**7. Act firmly**
This is an important point that you must plant in your head. Learn to firmly reject all invitations, chats or negative things that arise from friend’s toxic. They must know that you now cannot be influenced and do not like that mindset. Soon they will stay away.
**8. Do not hesitate to be angry**
If you use the subtle way the toxic friend doesn't understand, use the evil way as well. When you are not strong and tired of the drama that continues to be shared you can scold them really. However, do it when you two alone yes don't embarrass him or her publicly.
**9. Forgive but don't forget**
After toxic friends know that you are angry with them, they will apologize to you so they can be friends again. Forgive but tell them clearly that you don't like their nature and stay away from them. They also must feel that you are away from him and will find new victims.

Seven (7) most dangerous prisons in the world

**1. Pandemic prisons**
You might think that prisons during the current pandemic situation are some of the safest places in the world because prisons and jails are closed systems, you'd be very wrong on that front because right now every prison in the world is a dangerous prison because of the pandemic.
Think about it for a second. In prison, there's no such thing as social distancing and that's mainly because there are two people per cell and those cells are very small. What's more, soap, and protective equipment to keep them safe while close is virtually non-existent because prisons won't pay for that and won't treat the prisoners fairly. The spread of the virus through the prisons is honestly rather shocking.
Some government officials have tried to put a spin on this, but the numbers don't add up. Thousands of prisoners have gotten sick within the prisons and hundreds have died. Some prisoners have even rioted an exposed contraband to help tell people their stories and get the word out about their prisons basically killing them. Plus, a prison isn't a closed system, there are guards and staff that come through all the time plus new prisoners are brought in and other prisoners are cycled out. Thus, the virus continues to spread throughout the prison system making anyone in there right now vulnerable to getting sick.
**2. Alcatraz**
At one time Alcatraz was the number one prison you did not want to get locked up in. The prison was legendary for housing some of the biggest names in criminal history including Al Capone at one time. But the real reason it was dangerous was its location. It was an island prison off of san Francisco and as a result if you were to escape your cell you'd somehow have to go and swim your way all the way to shore, and the waters of the bay had tides that could easily drown you or sweep you out to sea if you weren't careful.
As a result, many inmates died trying to flee Alcatraz and officially no one ever survived an escape attempt or made a full-on successful escape. The only reason that Alcatraz is shut down now is that the prison slowly started to degrade making it unsafe and unhealthy to remain there. **3. San-Quentin prison**
San-Quentin prison was established in 1852 and is the oldest prison in the state of California. That means it pre-dates Alcatraz and has lasted a lot longer than it. So, keep that in mind when you think about dangerous and significant prisons.
There are various reasons that this prison was and is dangerous. First and foremost, for a long time it would carry out executions of prisoners in a variety of ways including having its own gas chamber- this isn't something that is used nowadays. Like many other prisons, they use lethal injections to execute prisoners, but they haven't done that since 2006. So why is it still dangerous? Today that would be because of the conditions and the violence due to its age. The prison isn't exactly a perfect model of efficiency and safety so much violence is regularly known to happen here.

In 2005, reports stated that it's dangerous to house people there. The danger can further be proven via the museum that is a part of the prison that shows that various items and weapons from over the years that the inmates have made to try and kill each other. **4. Bang Kwang prison**
If you were to be asked for the nickname of Bang Kwang prison, you would be told it's the Bangkok Hilton. This would obviously lead you to believe that the place was a relatively nice prison with fair accommodations and fair treatment of its inmates, but you would be very wrong in that regard. The prison is known for the routine torture of its inmates.
Inmates are crammed into small cells and death row inmates are often given as little as two hours’ notice before they're dragged off to their execution. But that's not all. All prisoners are required to wear long irons for the first three months of their sentences, death row inmates were required to have their leg irons permanently welded on. Although this practice ended in 2013, when you add all of that up you get a prison that no one in their right minds would want to go to because if you do you might not get back out.

**5. Rikers island**
This is one of the most famous prisons in the world that is still in use today. Riker's island prison is located off New York and between the Bronx and queens. The legacy that this prison has gotten led to it being referenced or used as a plot point in various tv shows and movies based in New York.
Its legacy is not for the faint of heart because its history and legacy are marked with excessive violence. But not just violence between inmates but the violence that the guards would inflict on inmates as well. This obviously would cause retaliation to happen, and the cycle continues.

The violence that would happen there was legendary in the worst way possible, not the least of which was because it would be done with approval at times from the local police and the New York state government.
This type of mistreatment is obviously a human rights violation and eventually there were strict rules put in place to try and limit the violence against both inmates and staff, and there was some success in getting stabbing incidents to go from about a thousand a year down to 70.
However, the violence in the facility is still going strong, thus prisoners honestly try and do a lot to not go to Rikers because they know they won't have a chance of survival in there in most cases.
**6. ADX Florence**
There are certain facilities in the world that are designed to hold the worst criminals that humanity has to offer and one of them is the ADX Florence supermax facility in Colorado. While that may sound like a good idea given that sometimes there are prisoners who need to be under constant surveillance, there are limits to what one should do there.
For example, ADX Florence supermax facility apparently keeps many of its inmates in solitary confinement which is usually reserved for those who have done something wrong in the prison or those who are requesting safety from other inmates. But that's not all.
A lawsuit was filed in June of 2012 by several inmates, the lawsuit charges that the condition of the prison creates an environment for inmate abuse and torture. The inmates stated that their mental health was not properly addressed and as a result, many inmates committed suicide. **7. La Sante prison**
Located in France, La sante prison is another prison that's infamous for its treatment of prisoners. It has held some of the most famous criminals in French history including infamous pseudo-celebrities who receive visitors and live in a special section of the compound.
Today however, for all of its inmates it remains a dark and depressing place, but this time there's a twist because not only is the place so dangerous and so violent that prisoners often take their lives rather than risk living out their sentence but prisoners are only let out four hours during the day. Plus there is apparently a hierarchy in the prison unlike what you'd see in various tv shows and movies.
Those who have power are able to lord it over others while those who don't have power aren't able to do much and live in the worst conditions possible.
It's a true dystopian situation with powerful and vicious leaders who can do as they please to the weaker inmates.

A wasted Monday

Today was one hell of a stressful day for me. The stress was another inevitable experience as I had to follow up with the processing I began last week as mentioned in which has made me to be going from one office to another. Luckily, I was able to meet up with one of the higher ups who followed me to one of the offices and made things easier for me. I printed the required letter as I was instructed and and the signature of one of the officials has been placed. All I need is one more signature to close the deal after which I'd submit the letter at the designated place and the rest will be history.
Today was all about getting the other required signature. I could have gotten this signature on Friday but I decided to relax as I needed to rest. My body was aching from the stress which Began last Monday till the end of the week, hence I decided to postpone getting the signature till Today Monday. Surprisingly, I got to the office of the person whose signature I required, and kaboom he wasn't available, only his secretary was. I had to drop the letter with the secretary while explaining that I needed his signature and will need to get it as soon as possible. She said he would be available soon as he probably went for a meeting or something, hence was asked to come back.
Long story short, my entire day was wasted while waiting for him and he didn't return to the office until I left. I left his office about a few minutes past 3 pm but he was no where to be found. Right now I'm simply hoping the secretary remembers to give him the letter so he could sign as my plan right now is to go there early tomorrow to get the already signed letter. Regardless of whether the letter has been signed or not, I'd be going to the office early tomorrow to see things for myself. Wanna get there earlier than I did today so I wouldn't get to miss his arrival, after which I'd make sure he signs it as soon as I get there so I could get going.
I feel terribly tired at the time of writing. This is almost 12 am, and in a few minutes it's gonna be a "*happy new month*". My knee and back hurt terribly and all I want is some more massage. I'm saying some more massage as a friend (a lady) already helped me with massaging my knee. Apart from the fact that I'm experiencing knee pain due to stress, **I accidentally hit the region slightly below my knee on the wooden table** in the sitting room. I was literally running mad as the pain was so much. The massage was even more painful as she was basically torturing me deliberately. I mean, massages are meant to be calm and soothing, but this one was on another level. I felt like I was in a torture chamber and was literally screaming on top of my voice while she continued to massage my leg without caring. Though the massage was literally torture, I feel better but require more massage.
Right now I'm hoping I get to accomplish my mission tomorrow so I can be free from this stress of going here and there and be able to relax happy new month in order to have a happy new month.

Crazy things happen in the world today and it's no longer a surprise that even cartoons get banned for the most ridiculous reasons. I wrote about this in Ten (10) cartoons banned in other countries. As mentioned in the article, this cartoon was banned in Myanmar due to the yellow colours of the characters and red clothing worn by Bart Simpsons. The juxtaposition was that the colors red and yellow were not allowed in the film at the time because these color were used in support of rebel groups within the nation. I consider it a very weird political mentality. Guess what? They wouldn't get to see the meaning of true entertainment via cartoons.
I'm still trying to understand why a country would be superstitious especially in terms of colour and be overly suspicious of an animation because the colours of characters and clothing are similar to that of a rebel group. Forgetting that colour can be random and choice of clothing in an animation is simply based on the creators imagination and idea. The Simpsons cartoon is clearly not related to any Rebel group, neither is it anti-Myanmar.
It's been terribly stressful for me lately as I've been doing a lot of writing lately. I'm writing an horror story consisting of 30 chapters which I intend to publishes as a book on a different platform. It's been stressful so far. Signing the exclusive contract with the editor is even more stressful as I had to do a break down of the main characters and their aim in the story. I'd be writing a 300 word long plot, blurb, selling point, and many more. It's really tiring but I've been pushing myself to ensure that I meet up with the targets. Sandwiches are supposed to fill your tummy and not make you puke. They should also definitely not try to turn you into a carnivore.
Here is an interesting story; a man in Florida went to Arby’s to get some lunch, he ordered a sandwich and got more than bacon lettuce and turkey in it. He found a piece of skin from someone's finger sliced into his lunch.
Arby's tried to find the skin's owner when the man went back to complain. Nothing seemed to be working until they found the manager with a band-aid on his finger. He later confessed that he had cut himself while slicing some lettuce. He probably forgot to find the skin after he cleaned the blood.

KFC is so good that I wouldn't trust anybody who said they don't like the hot and spicy chicken they sell, unless they say they found something weird in their chicken.
When you order chicken you wouldn't want to eat any of its insides would you? A KFC customer in Australia didn't want that either, that's why he was grossed out when he found the lung of a chicken in his dinner. **8. Smoky donut**
Imagine getting a huge box of donuts to enjoy all alone. You probably had a long day and now you have chocolate glazed donuts to make you happy. Yummy right? Take a second to imagine yourself getting ready to eat when you suddenly find something harmful in it.
A lady in Australia was really upset when she bit into a donut from Krispy Kreme and got a shock. There was the butt of a cigarette baked into the tasty treat.
Someone had finished smoking and probably threw the end of the cigarette into the dough. That would have been traumatic for anyone, but hers was even worse as she was pregnant when this happened. A woman in Georgia stayed away from McDonald’s for a while after she found a nose ring in her daughter's breakfast burrito. The four-year-old child had taken a few bites of the probably delicious meal when her mother noticed the problem.

There was poop right inside their sundaes.
These two guests had been offered chocolate gelato which was supposed to be an apology to them. The guests had complained that the loud music from the hotel stopped them from being able to watch a football game. A lady in California went into Costco superstore to get a huge hotdog one Sunday. All she wanted was some lunch, but she got something else in addition. After taking a big bite she felt something hard as she tried to chew. Wondering what, she spat out a bullet. Someone had put a nine-millimetre bullet in the hotdog, and that's not even the worst part.
Later she started to feel some pains in her stomach, when she went to the hospital, she found out that she had already swallowed another bullet. Just when you thought that nothing could go wrong with a sweet character, China banned the bear on the internet for a ridiculous reason. It's been several years since the internet users started comparing the cartoon character to the Chinese President Xi Jinping. The reason for this is that it's the first time we got a chance to see queer characters including the gay married couple on a Nickelodeon cartoon. They're not the only two men in love there are also Clyde's parents and an interracial couple.
Lincoln was right to say that it was time to make history right before opening the door. It was finally time that we saw some diversity in kids cartoons. unfortunately some countries weren't ready for that and they received many complaints from viewers.
Kenya's filming classification board suspended many children's programs accusing them of featuring disturbing content glorifying homosexual behaviour. They said that adults can choose to be homosexuals and exercise their rights on sexual orientation and relationships but not so with children.

If you have a kid or a little sister at home, you probably have already watched Peppa Pig and don't be shy if you watched it on your own. Even if you are grown up we all love kids shows sometimes and they teach us good life lessons. Unfortunately, one of the episodes was inappropriate for Australian viewers this is why the country had to ban it.
In the 5 minute episode called spider's web, the family met a new character- a spider named Mr. Skinny legs. They took the time to get to know him and learn that they shouldn't be scared of spiders and that they should avoid disturbing his web.
If you can't still figure out what's wrong with this cartoon you probably don't know that many spiders are really dangerous in Australia. Some of the world's most venomous spiders live in the country this is why Australian children should never believe that spiders can be their friends and there are a lot of reasons why they should be scared of them.
When ABC heard about this they immediately apologized for running it and said they it has been restricted from being aired on the ABC television networks.

It's not a surprise to hear that South Park was banned in many countries, it's probably one of the most controversial cartoons in the world and we think that you shouldn't be watching it unless you're a grown-up who has a critical mind.
Many people think that the show went on a little too far and some of the most shocking episodes were 200 and 201. For the 200th episode of South Park, the creator's decided to push the limits by depicting the Prophet Mohammed. It set off controversy across the globe as it was obviously an offense to Muslims even those who don't have religious beliefs were shocked to hear the cartoon would dare to do that.
The show have been running in India for less than a year and it was abruptly taken off the air. Indian viewers didn't even have time to see the 200th episode and it was already too much for them. Russia also tried to ban the cartoon to replace it with program teaching children to be patriotic.
If you think that these countries are too close-minded you'll be surprised to hear that the US has a ban on part of the show too. Comedy Central censured Mohammed by placing black bars over the characters and cutting his lines. The show was then pulled out from the air and it was not possible see the episode on the website or in repeats.

We love to see powerful female characters become heroes in one of our favorite anime however viewers around the world were not shocked by the fights but by the love between some of the characters in the original anime Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus or two women who fell in love with each other. The past few days have been unfavourable and I'm tired of talking about how the failed system has brought frustration and depression for me. It's been a stressful experience so far and I's rather stop talking about it, as constantly ranting wouldn't help me feel better. Rants are just rants, they do nothing but allow us to be heard.
Here I am writing this article on bed with laptop on my laps. I'm so so exhausted from the stress, my knee hurts terribly and my back is beginning to follow suit. I know I should be sleeping right now considering it's almost midnight already, but I'm simply indifferent. I'm so exhausted that that sleep has decided to be far away from me. I've been through more than physical and mental stress than my body and brain can handle. My head hurts, in fact my brain hurts, and I'm totally out of idea.
I'm going through mental stress such that I've begin to forget things easily- signs that rest is required. Unfortunately, I have only this weekend to meet up with certain targets, and at the same time will resume my usual running here and there as already mentioned in frustration due to a failed system. I want nothing more than peace of mind, I want my mind to be at rest, I want all things to work while I simply cross my legs and observe everything. Don't we all want that kind of life? Unfortunately not all wishes come true. At some point we have to go through those struggles so we can have a story to tell. After all, there is no success story without past challenges. The success story is only a result of the victory attained after many challenges after which we can then be celebrated.
I want to be free from something called struggles, we all experience it daily and find ways to cope with it. Regardless of how strong we may be, it comes to a point where we feel like we can no longer cope with everything and simply want to give up. Well, I am at that stage at the moment. I'm trying hard to not give up and will continue to try until my joy is full.
I need a head massage, I need a back and knee massage, I need a brain massage if that exists. I want the blood vessels in my brain to relax, I want them to stop running at super speed and allow me to feel free. I sometimes want to experience Tabula Rasa, unfortunately it's not possible since I'm no longer a baby. Tabula Rasa refers to a blank state. It's a philosophical statement that we're born in a blank state where nothing exists in our mind, no memory or thoughts, just blankness and emptiness. I sometimes want to experience that state once more maybe I'd feel at peace, after which I'd return to my life of unending stress.
Life is stressful, life is meaningless, life is nothing but an unending loop of meaningless accomplishments. Regardless of how meaningless life may be, I'd enjoy my life to the fullest when the time comes and will not hold back. My time is coming and it is coming soon!
Frustration due to a failed system

The past few days has been stressful. I've been going from one office to another, making several calls and meeting several people just so I could get certain problems solved. Altogether It's been a stressful week and I'm getting tired of everything. I've got pain all over me, my knee and back hurts and all I need is rest. It's been stressful so far, and I'm beginning to feel like a dog chasing cars, a person without direction.
I remember having to walk a long distance on Tuesday from one office to another. The initial office I went was locked and I had to speak with the person over the phone. Unfortunately, he wasn't willing to take responsibilities, even after after explaining that the other offices I went stated that he needed to write a letter on my behalf before they could attend to me. It was annoying because it was his responsibility, yet he casually rejected it over the phone because he was too lazy.
He insisted he didn't need to hence I had to go back to the initial office I had been to and explained what was going on.
It was another level of frustration because I got to the office and the person I needed to see also wasn't there. I had to wait for about hour plus till he arrived, after which we had a discussion. This discussion didn't go well as he insisted that I had to get a letter from the previous office I had been to since they needed to put things in record before he could take any action, while also stating there was nothing he could do for me.
I was furious at this point because I had walked a very long distance in the case of each office as each offices were very far from each other and there are no vehicles within the organisation's premises unless you have your own car. I was so pissed off that it was reflected in my mood and the way I responded to people afterwards. I was a frustrated and tired man. I was a man without direction. It was annoying.
After doing everything within my power to get things sorted out, it all turned meaningless. I went back home with anger and frustration written all over me and I simply forced myself to sleep. My mood was affected so much that I began to get depressed. I simply forced myself to sleep and didn't wake up until two hours later. I ignored every call that came in as I simply wanted to be alone.
**Fast forward to yesterday Thursday**- it was another hall of stress but it was a better progress. I had to talk to certain people I knew were superiors in the organisation, people who were close to me and to my mom. I explained what was happening to one of them and he asked me to come meet him in his office. I went there, explained the entire thing and the people in charge. He immediately picked his phone, spoke with one of them and that was it. After he did, we both went to the office together and the solution came through.
A new development began to come through based on the influence of the person that followed me to the office. I didn't need to wait for a letter from the person in the other office anymore, but instead a sample of the letter which was to be submitted was given to me which I simply edited and included my name. The required signatures were added and that was it, that stage had been solved. All I have to do now is to follow up as from Monday to make sure that my stress so far isn't put to waste.
Altogether, everything took about three to four hours, but it was a necessary stress. After going through everything, I began to think- "*what if I didn't know any higher ops, would I have been stranded forever?*". In the end I would have been stranded and would have continued to go from one office to another till I got tired and would have simply gone back home once more.
*This country is so damaged that you wouldn't get anywhere if you don't know anyone, if you're not connected. I can imagine the amount of stress that people with similar situation would have to go through, after which they would simply give up and consider themselves victims of a failed system. I consider myself lucky!*

Abuja people and everyone else is talking about fuel scarcity, ridiculous price hike of fuel. With everything happening in the country, I hear someone saying he can't and doesn't even know the price of fuel because he has never gone to look for fuel and not see. I don't know if he thinks this is something to brag about, but I'd say that as long as he's a Nigerian in Nigeria, he should know the price of fuel unless he wants to deceive himself by claiming otherwise in a bid to feel big.
I consider him nothing but a liar who lacks self esteem and simply wants to be seen as high and mighty. Unfortunately for him, whether big or not, nobody cares. A majority of people are after his own life and how things will get better for his or her family. While some are after recognition and being seen on top by living fake lives and posting pictures of themselves taken in beautiful places on social media just to impress or perhaps oppress as they say today.
Speaking of Social Media, we say time runs because we spend most of it flipping through social media. Exhaust Facebook content, run to WhatsApp. Exhaust that Instagram, then twitter. BY that time, Facebook should have new ones to binge on. Hours blow away but when you eradicate social media entirely, you find out how much time you have on your hands.
Please don't use it to run to ruin your relationship or cut off people. Find productive things to fill it with, things that are all about you. Leave your friends and relationships to mornings and night conversations, use the rest for you.
Start something. Pick a quick skill and learn. Pick a book and read, pick a series. If you're doing a skill, the lack of social media means the need to publicise and post about your growth and process will be ignored. You can now focus on your learning.
One of the issues we have these days is that people want to post success more than actually doing the job. "O*h I'm a web developer and blah blah*". But the assignment given to you by the tutor hasn't been done. Posting comes first- a very wrong approach to getting the job done.
Words of a friend, not mine
Enough of the rants. I'm about to quote words written by a crazy friend of mine.. his words not mine. I sometimes feel like he requires mental care due to his very weird way of thinking, here we go.
And I quote "*Every three months, I'm going to pick one person randomly from my WhatsApp lust, Facebook list and contact list, and find out what we can do and how we can make their journey pan out. Most of the time I'll be the god they need, god and a sugar daddy. In those cases I'd tell them "eeyah" and not waste both our times".*
"*I've picked my target for this quarter, a very nice boy, a poet. He can draw too. I'd be reviewing him tomorrow, and all his social presence. I think he should be a visual poet. His drawing skills can make his poetry unique. He is best stuffed for erotic stuff, he is great at drawing women b**bs. We'll be going to Instagram. I have a long chat scheduled for tomorrow evening, I pray I do not waste his time*".
Told you he's one person that needs mental care, I find it difficult to understand his words most times, almost like a person that speaks while under the influence of alcohol... Lol!

Frustrated since yesterday

I'm one frustrated person. I've got frustration written all over me and it has resulted in transfer of aggression since yesterday. Small talks don't interest me, funny videos are no longer funny and life altogether have become tiring. I went through a lot in the past few days, yesterday especially was frustrating. I was basically being thrown around from one office to another while trying to sort out certain issues which I'd rather not talk about.
Altogether I'm frustrated, angry and beginning to get depressed. I didn't feel like talking to anyone and had to contact my best friend WhatsApp since that was the only person I felt like talking to at that point. She had to give me reassuring words while asking me to calm down and try to sleep since I've gone through a lot of stress. I didn't feel like sleeping as I was angry at everything but I had to force that afternoon naps to come through.
I wish she were here, perhaps things would have been easier.
I eventually slept and woke up two hours later with several missed calls on my phone. I normally would have called back but I still wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone.. I forced myself to go back to sleep once more- signs that depression is beginning to set in.
I'm sincerely tired of everything, I wanna run away from everything and wanna be free from all this stress, unfortunately the system is a corrupt one full of incompetent people that wouldn't be willing to take responsibility for their mistskes.
I'm simply forcing myself to write this, after which I'd have to force myself to another round of sleep. I know best friend's call would come in somewhere between forcing myself to sleep and actually sleeping. If she calls I'd have to wake up as that's the only person that is capable of making me calm.
I'd take today off, will try to clear my head, after which I'd see what I can do to make things work tomorrow. I need these things sorted out and these peeps are frustrating me.
It may seem like I'm hiding a lit of things but what I'm working on is very complicated and I hope it works out. I'd be glad and confident to tall about it openly as soon as it works out. I've got faith that everything will be okay. But for now I'm one frustrated person.
At this point I guess I'd have to call someone superior to put them to order so they can do what I want. Sometimes examples need to be at and this example is what I will show them. Not everyone can be messed with, especially not Kristoffer. I'm frustrated but I'm willing to fight back until everything works well. After which I may have to sue!

I keep trying to live through other people. Creating a career path for those around me, projecting a career and an image on my girl friends, structuring an image and notoriety on my friends, building a brand and status for my colleagues and friends. All in the guise that I find solace in their achievements, that their win stays as mine.
You may find it weird if I say that I don't have any goal in life. That's not sad. Trust me I don't mind. But sometimes I want to see myself having a hand in other people's stories and making them smile while remembering the source of that smile to be Kristoffer. Isn't that goal enough? I wouldn't like to consider it a goal but a norm which everyone should aim to achieve.
Social media brings us together, it moulds us more than we care to admit, and sometimes we have more relationship and connections up there than we do in reality. But sometimes it becomes too much- you sometimes use social media and you feel an overload of information, you feel depressed and start to think your life is shit.
Social media influence is why you think you always have to talk to someone to feel close to them. Makes you feel that as long as that green dot says "online" they should be talking to you. If they're not talking to you, they're talking to someone else, doing something else. The problem begins with the internal question of- "*Who else could be more important than me?*"
Social media influence is you looking at pictures and video of other people, seeing congratulatory posts of other people and at the end of the day you feel down and wasted. You need to take a break from social media once in a while to better appreciate relationships and your reality.
Take a week or two off social media. Don't announce it. Announcing it gives the impression that you want some sort of eulogy or sense of relevance, the exaggerated relevance of the dead. It is sometimes why people want to die by suicide, to feel that relevance. Just go on to the land of the dead already- you will be missed or maybe not!
During your break off socials, write out your login details lest you forget, then delete the apps. That way the early morning social media check will be off your list and something else will replace it. You'll feel empty without social media for the small doses that keep you sane. You'd be fine without it!
On a date with friends, never go to social media and scroll away time. Whenever you're in a company you cherish and respect, your phone shouldn't be a part of it. Enjoy the conversation, laugh, share, gist. Live in the moments. Introducing your phone and social media to the mix creates an avenue for gossip, you'd begin to talk about social media people.
In the moment, you and your relationship should matter. Social media matter shouldn't be the only thing that keeps your relationship going!
One last thing- If you've got browning, don't post it on socials. Nobody cares, your ammunitions are for you and yourself only, they're meant for your legal protection and nor for show!
Random thoughts

I want to have some fun by exploring, see new places, meet new people and have the time of my life. I want to be free like a bird and fly high in the sky without limitation or fear of pulling pulled down by gravity.
I simply wanna enjoy myself without limits and have all the fun in the world which includes going to anime land (Japan), seeing some beautiful sights, having Japanese girlfriends and getting married to one, joining a dojo and become a samurai, or perhaps a ninja- which ever one's training wouldn't require me to push myself beyond my limit.
I'd better wake up from this dream before it traps me and allows me to no longer be able to differentiate between reality and fiction.
Surprisingly, after writing the first two paragraphs I got lost in thoughts and fell asleep. Woke up and realised I had slept for about 2 hours plus- signs that I need more than enough rest, as it's not normal for me to suddenly fall asleep for no reason.
Speaking of sleep, I've not ben having enough rest lately, I mention this all the time. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it as the stress is simply inevitable. I find myself mostly awake till midnight and early hours of the day, after which I'd go to bed while also making up early the next day so I can meet up with tasks before me.
In the end, there is no rest as long as one is alive. Rest only comes the day we transcend from this mortal body unto higher planes of existence.. that's what we've been told from childhood, but I'm in doubt. What if the next world is an even greater stress, what if there is no next world, and what if we can gather enough resources during our youth and finally attain retirement at age 30? Food for thought....
As for me I'd stick to the last question... I'd rather stress myself as much ad I can now that I'm still young and retire at a very young age so I can enjoy the rest of my life while sleeping and waking whenever I want.. .plus the usual early morning jogs to keep me healthy.
I wanna go to my fantasy land called Japan. People that have been there say that Japan isn't really what it seems, and they got tired of being there barely weeks after their arrival as the initial excitement vanished instantly, plus the fact that strangers weren't warmly received as compared to what is shown on TV. I wouldn't care if this is true or not, lemme go experience it myself, after which I'd decide if I'd stay or not.
*I wanna gather enough during my youth and go to my dream. I wanna have all the fun in the world and I don't want anything to stop me. I will push myself daily, deprive myself of sleep until I get that which I want!*

Today is ended and tomorrow is gonna be another day to think about the constantly diminishing economy and how it has begun to affect everyone including the rich. Unemployment is all over the country, crime rate is increasing daily and fuel scarcity is the mew normal, plus an increment in fuel price.
The heat is so much that one bag of pure water isn't enough for a person as we get dehydrated within seconds. The electricity company isn't making things easier, there's been zero electricity for days, weeks, which makes the heat even unbearable. An alternative would be to power the generator while putting on the fan or air conditioner to eliminate the heat, unfortunately fuel scarcity as previously mentioned.
It's another night of struggling with the blood sucking demons called mosquitoes. They've begun to attack my arms, legs and so on.. I'm at this point ignoring them until I finish this article, after which I'd set up a mosquito net around the bed. My own way of escaping their wrath since there is no mosquito repellant and I'm not willing to buy one. Even if I wanted, its past 11 pm already, and I wouldn't be able to get one by this time.
If only electricity was available, I wouldn't worry about the mosquitoes since the fan is gonna be on and the breeze would be too much for the mosquitoes to handle.
Setting up a mosquito net seems like the best option for me tonight, unfortunately it would mean that I'd have to bear the heat since mosquito nets are designed to keep air out for reasons unknown.. I'd have to choose the heat tonight as long as my blood wouldn't get sucked and wouldn't risk having something called Malaria.
The lack of electricity is the major reason I've been unavailable to interact with anyone here on read.cash.
I sincerely hope tomorrow will be different as my laptop has been dead since the early hours of today and I have no idea if I'm gonna be able to get it charged.
I'd have to try to go to bed early tonight so I can wake early as I have an appointment by 8 am- something business related.
I'm hoping to go to bed early unfortunately it may not work as planned since my body clock is a bit messed up. I tend to stay awake till way past midnight basically doing nothing but staring at deep space while occasionally thinking about how my childhood left too early... I'd rather not talk about this tonight.
*The economy is diminishing but I'd survive. I'm only hoping the country doesn't turn consist before the leaders realise that they're running nothing but a failed nation.*

Sunday's Story!

This is the intro to a very weird story I'm writing. I have no idea what it's gonna be about, neither do I know how it's gonna end. I simply wrote those words as it came to mind and kaboom it looked good. At this point, I have become stuck and will have to give myself a break for more ideas to come through. I am not willing to rush this story since I intend to make it a work of perfection, after all it's meant to be a story and not some random rant written out of frustration and the inability to think straight.
I at this point do not care how long this story will take, 6 months, 5 months, or even a year. What matters most is the satisfaction that follows the *embodiment of perfection* of a well written story. Nothing gives me joy than waking up in the morning to receive mails and texts from random unknowns stating that my story was pitch perfect and stands out among its peers. Though it may be a difficult rank to attain but I wouldn't mind going through the requires stress for that level of perfection to be attained.
Enough of the book writing jargons and attainment of perfection. I'd rather talk about something random than get too serious with life.
It's a Sunday (obviously) and I must confess once more that I didn't go to church and will not go to church. Don't ask me why, I wouldn't mention. Anyway, I got out of bed a few minutes past 8 am, after which I took a walk to the nearest Bakery to get Bread, took a few more steps and Akara (Bean cake) followed suit. Bread and Akara is the perfect breakfast combination one can have, my own version of a hamburger- open the bread, put about two or three Akara inside and close it... kaboom Hamburger is served...Lol!
The kristoffer styled hamburger wasn't exactly breakfast but pre-breakfast. After buying what I needed, I took a walk back home, devoured the perfect breakfast and kaboom, it was announced that the actual breakfast was ready. Yam and fried egg- another perfect combination. While I was devouring my pre-breakfast, @Balikis's call came in, it was another round of disturbance as she was basically squeezing my neck over the phone out of jealousy. She wanted a piece of my breakfast but I refused... Duurh! I found a way to get rid of her and finished my edibles in peace.
After devouring my pre-breakfast, I relaxed for about 10 minutes and off to the main course I went. yam and fried egg called upon me and I had to answer its call without holding back. I finished it and had to report back to @Balikis in a bid to make her jealous.... and jealous she was.
*I've had two portions of breakfast and I got nothing else to do but to sleep. Sleep calls upon me and off to dream land I go. Hello everyone and happy Sunday!*
Writer's Block exists

As much as I wanna talk about the fact that I've begun to experience something called a writer's block, a part of me tells me not to do so or it would look like I'm making excuses out of my unwillingness to write a sense making article. I remember reading @TengoLoTodo's where he said "*there is no such thing as a writer's block*".
I agreed with everything written in that article based on the examples cited and various situations addressed in his write up. In fact, I added in the comment section that writer's block doesn't exist but there's only something called laziness, procrastination, and excuses made from our unwillingness to move out of our comfort zone. But now that my brain is blocked and there's zero writing inspiration I guess I'd have to disagree with the fact that "*writer's block do not exist*".
Woke up early this morning, looked at my time and it was only 6 am, and I shouldn't be awake by this time since it's a weekend and weekends are for rest. I went back to sleep and didn't wake up finally until 9 am or so... https://read.cash/@Kristofferquincy/weekends-are-for-rest-ce2b25a9
Apart from the fact that it's a weekend, I had to sleep for longer because I didn't sleep well at night due to the mosquito invasion. Those guys sucked more than 50% of my blood and went out to call their friends. I had to resort to setting up a mosquito net around my bed at midnight in a bid to escape their wrath since I didn't want to wake up this morning with over 90% of my blood gone.
I finally Woke up and realised breakfast was already on the table waiting for me, I had to sanitize my teeth with something called a toothpaste, after which I devoured the rice and beans before me. I took an extra round as well and kaboom that was it.
I decided it was time to write for today and suddenly realised that I had nothing in my upstairs. I stared at my laptop for 2 hours plus but nothing came through... at this point I remembered Mr. Tengolotodo's post referring to the fact that writer's block doesn't exist but procrastination and laziness, and comfort and excuses and blah blah blah....
I instantly began to disagree with that statement for one simple reason which is that I'm actually willing to write and not procrastination or making excuses yet my brain decided to fail me by being empty. At this point I must say that I'm not only having a writer's block but a brain block as well. A situation that puts me at disadvantage considering that my "*yes to writing everyday*" must stand except in special cases where I get sick or perhaps got so busy with something called life and it's complexities.
As much as I want to write something meaningful today, I just can't... All I want is to sleep until my brain comes back to full capacity.
I believe my major issue is lack of adequate sleep!
Happy birthday Sis
In fact, it's my sister's birthday today- my elder sister, and I'm meant to write an article about her while singing her praise and talking about how wonderful a sister she has been since our parents left... Brain block wouldn't allow me as well. What I'd gave to do for now is gather enough sleep so my brain can be active once more, after which I'd write a 2000 word long article talking about her degree of awesomeness.
I joked with her this morning that she's the one absorbing all the food I've been eating since we were born. I eat everything and anything yet it doesn't show in my body, I remain my tiny self. But my sister on the other hand doesn't eat as much yet she's 3 times my size. Absorption no Jutsu at it's finest- Naruto fans like @Jinifer, @FashTioluwaand so on would understand.
Lost in time

I find it hard to believe that today is a Friday. I've been so convinced it's a Saturday since the early hours of the day that I already began to prepare towards church on Sunday which was meant to be tomorrow according to the time table my brain created for myself. In fact, I already planned how I was gonna get some goodies in preparation for tomorrow since it's always difficult to get anything edible on Sundays, and I'd like to fill my stomach before going to church.
I was snapped out of this madness by a friend who mentioned that he was gonna be going out early tomorrow, and I was like "*ain't you gonna go to church?*". He gave me this weird look and was like "*today is Friday*". I'm glad I didn't argue or he would have finished me with words., but in a playful way. I looked at my smartphone and kaboom it says "*Friday 18th of February*". Damn. I was shocked as to how I totally lost count of the days of the week and totally convinced myself it was a Saturday. Mind trick our brain plays lol!
It's not entirely my fault that my brain decided to do the mind trick thingy. Apart from the fact that I went out on a special assignment on Wednesday, I've been ever since and hardly set my foot out of the house. I guess it's enough reason to lose track of time and perhaps space.
Speaking of space, I find it weird that mosquitoes have decided to invade my personal space. While some have begun to make helicopter noises in my ears, others have begun to suck the little blood in my legs. At some point I had to cover my entire body including my head but they were miraculously able to enter this space as well. I don't know how they did it but I'd like to say that the mosquitoes are now an advanced civilization. They invented quantum tunnelling hence were able to phase through my cover cloth like it's a walk in the park. These mosquitoes have been possessed by demons and are no longer after a little quantity of blood. They wanna suck me dry until there is no more blood in me. Long story short0nthey're after my life but I refuse to let them have it!
I have at this point begun to sweat profusely due to the heat caused by staying under the blanket for too long. I had to do this as it was the only way to avoid the mosquitoes. Now I'd have to make a hard choice between these two options- stay under the blanket and allow the heat kill me via something called suffocation or push the blanket aside and let the mosquitoes have their way. A tough choice it is!
Nightmares and Day dreams

*Fuel scarcity*
It's another weekend and the fuel scarcity continues. As much as I don't wanna talk about it, I just have to because it's inevitable. As mentioned yesterday, this is the first time the state of the economy would be affecting me directly. The first time it affects me, it affects my business as well- signs that I'm growing and becoming more responsible... lol! I can't take it anymore and beginning to lose my mind. Deep breaths!
The problem isn't just the scarcity but the fact that fuel has now become more expensive than it initially was. Imagine buying petrol at 165 Naira per litre and you wake up the next morning to buy it at 400 Naira per litre. Transporters have increased fares, now you'd have to pay double the fare to wherever you're going regardless of distance.
That's what's happening now. The economy is diminishing, things are getting out of hand and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Even the government officials are confused, the president is confused. If the leaders are confused then who am I to decide what to do and how to do it. The best bet would be to gather as much as I can and kaboom to a better country before this country goes to dust.
I'd rather not talk about how the constantly diminishing economy is a reflection of the President's incompetence and his inability to lead with some sense of value. I mean, the country began to go down the drain since he got into power, price of commodities spiked exponentially and the average man could no longer live comfortably like he used to. Prices went up, yet wages and salaries remained fixed- that's poverty in the making. He claimed he wanted to fight corruption yet he became the corruption- I'd rather not stress on this as it may be considered a seditious statement. I'm no politician, I'm simply expressing myself as a citizen of a failed country!
*Nightmares*
Phew! It's another weekend and here I am struggling to get out of bed, slept late as usual while doing some random nonsense on my smartphone. Plus I'm writing a horror story as well- a thirty chapter story with each chapter introducing new characters and new demons. Oh how I love horror stories. I sent a sneak peek to a friend of mine yesterday. She said "*it's interesting but scary*" and asked "*why do you write a horror story*". I looked at her and smiled.
I've always been interested in horror stories since my teen age, I simply found them more enjoyable since none of those stuffs they do scare me, I simply enjoy seeing the blood and gore. The sense of people being in danger looks good as long as it's a movie.
I truth is used to have nightmares almost every night since I was about 4 years old and it didn't stop till I was 12. It wasn't an easy experience as I sometimes had fear of falling asleep and would have to sleep between my mom and dad on most nights. The night mares were so intense that I usually shouted from my sleep very loudly which would wake everyone up. It continued for years and wouldn't stop regardless of where I was and how I slept, almost like something was after my life but couldn't succeed. The nightmares were so bad that I could no longer stay alone in a room, I became scared of the dark and couldn't sleep with the lights off. It was a terrible experience.
The dreams were so real that I once screamed from my dream, opened my eyes and still saw a very strange looking figure at the opposite end of the bed. It looked so real that it vanished seconds before my parents entered my room. I was only 10 or 21 at the time and couldn't explain what I had seen. You may say it was an optical illusion but it wasn't as the light in the room was on and what I saw in the dream was the same thing I saw in front of me after I woke up... it looked brown but was without form. Almost like it floated in the air... but i just couldn't understand what I saw.
All thanks to a lot of prayers by my parents and loved ones, the nightmares eventually stopped when I was 12. And ever since nothing seems to scare me anymore. I've seen more than enough in my nightmares hence no amount of CGI or VFX in horror movies is enough to give me the creeps. I'm no longer scared of darkness but decided I'm now Batman! Now I enjoy horror movies so much that I sometimes paused the scenes with monsters to examine the creativity while complaining about how bad the design team are. I constantly tell myself "*it's not scary enough*". Lol!

There's been fuel scarcity for about two or more weeks for reasons unknown and I must say that this is the first time in my life that fuel scarcity will affect me directly. Its affecting my life, my business, and may begin to affect my finance if actions are not made to cancel this mess.
At this rate I can confidently say that the country is going to hell.
I've been at Ondo state since mid-January but it's been a little inconvenience due to electricity issue. I got here on the 14th of January and ever since there's been no flash of electricity, it has been total darkness.
This means that I had to rearrange my budget while adding fuel expenses to it so that all things work related wouldn't be put to hold since my work is dependent on the internet and availability of power supply, and the generator requires fuel for operation captain obvious).
I've been trying to live with am additional budget so business will continue to move, unfortunately the past few days have been weird not just for me but the country in general. I'm not one to care about the debimitstimg state of the economy but once it begins to affect me I'd have no choice but to complain.
Complaining wouldn't change anything but I choose to complain anyway since I'm beginning to lose my mind.
Fuel scarcity began lately, I remember having to go to three different fuel stations before I could get a station that had fuel, after which I had to wait for my turn. This took about 45 minutes to one hour.
I thought the scarcity was gonna be something minor and was gonna end as quickly. Unfortunately, I realised today that the scarcity is a nationwide phenomenon and the nation's capital (Abuja) is suffering even more due to the scarcity.
At the time of writing, there is no fuel available in any of the filling stations in my city, fuel prices have gone up and I'm beginning to be bothered because everything I do requires electricity which I can only access by fueling my generator.
No fuel is equivalent to dead laptop, dead smartphones, and dead work station. Which in turn means that all things work related will be on hold till further notice. This is disadvantageous to my finance, in fact I will be fired from work because I have certain businesses which I'm in charge if, especially their social media handle. My personal businesses will he on hold as well.
In fact I began writing a fictional story lately which I intend to publish on the 1st of March on some platform which pays you for doing such. This scarcity of fuel will be a major disadvantage for me, as I may be offline and disconnected from the world for days and weeks possibly. Which means I wouldn't be able to do anything but go back to living like a man from the stone age.
I can't over emphasize how much I hate this country, can't wait to leave as soon as I can.

**10. Oxygen**

If you decide to watch the new sci-fi horror film oxygen during your latest Netflix and chill session, let's warn you this isn't the movie you assume it is. The famed new French extremism director of the subgenres masterpiece hot tension Alexandra Aja is recognized for his extreme tendencies. He is no stranger to putting his characters in intense blood-curdling situations in which the very fabric of their beings is on the line. But unlike the rest of his work, oxygen is essentially a love letter to fundamentally well-being a horror show with redemption coursing through its veins.
Melanie Lawrence portrays a lady who wakes up in a cryogenic chamber with no recognition of who she is or how she got there. Milo the pod's internal computer system notifies her that her oxygen reserve is just 33% and going down fast. We barely get a glimpse of the inside of this pod so we don't know where she is, but the importance of escaping cannot be overstated.

A mess of a story that was yet beautiful to look at introduced southeast Asia’s big budget sci-fi to Netflix’s audience. Korean filmmaker Jo Sung-hee’s space sweepers is a lot more united and coherent peace with flair.
The CEO of a big tech business constructs an Eden on mars in the dystopian setting thus subordinating the majority of humanity to suffering and contamination. Also, a rough gang of space junk collectors is each looking out for their self-interest when they come upon a captivating little girl who entangles them in much broader worries.
it's a perfect entry for Korea’s first sci-fi blockbuster with exciting characters, spectacular action sequences, and an engaging plot.
**8. The soul**

Wang Shicong the famed group's chairman died unexpectedly at home. During the inquiry, the prosecutor Liang Wan Chao and his wife, criminal police A Bao discovered that the victim’s son Wang Tian Yu, the young newly wedded wife Li Yan, long-term partner Wan Yu fan, and even the deceased ex-wife Tang Suzhen all have sophisticated ties. A bao unearthed the shocking information hiding underneath the case.
The movie is based on the novel Bajiang Bo.

Outside the wire is a thriller set in 2036 that follows terrorists in eastern Europe. The American forces serve as policemen on the chaotic border between Ukraine and Russia, still their primary purpose is to prevent Victor Koval a crazy warlord from annexing Ukraine to Russia.
In actuality, he ramps up his militia activity in order to obtain the codes for the nukes and Ukraine’s abandoned nuclear facilities which were established during the cold war.
Captain Leo played by Anthony Mackie an android military officer is tasked with stopping Koval in his mission. He picks Harp portrayed by Damson Idris a rogue drone pilot recently accused of killing two marine officers in a combat zone fighting by launching a drone missile against the superior's orders. Harp is dispatched to teach Leo to learn the value of collateral by assisting him in on-field battle but the method he discovers is entirely unexpected.
**6. Stowaway**

From their space-based thriller drama on Netflix, Stowaway's directors make an unusual creative option. A group of astronauts is in a life-or-death situation and must radio earth for assistance, yet we never hear voices from mission control. This is probably done to generate suspense and focus attention on the astronauts, but it also adds a lot of fragments and odd pauses to the movie that serves as a metaphor for the film's central issue.
Stowaway struggles to gain velocity which is paradoxical for a story about a spaceship shooting into space on an irreversibly accelerated route.
Tony Collette, Anna Kendrick, Daniel day Kim and Shamier Anderson star as astronauts, scientists, and engineers on a two-year mission to mars. However, one of them isn't supposed to be on board and the ship wasn't built to accommodate an extra passenger, thus putting the crew on a path to destruction.
**5. The midnight Sky**

The midnight sky is a meditation excursion set in 2049 in which our world is a quickly deteriorating wasteland in space.
As a terrifying yet optimistic new frontier, the film alternates between the arctic and a sophisticated spaceship called the Aether following dying scientist Augustine Lofthouse as he attempts to advise everyone aboard the aether to forsake their return to earth after a cataclysmic catastrophe renders most of the earth inhospitable.
Despite its tropes, it's a fascinatingly disturbing thriller that hits a bit too close to home in the context of 2020.
The midnight sky is an excellent example of a film that sells itself short by attempting to be severe, profound, and dramatic. Based on all available evidence, it's more of a mystery or at the very least more entertaining.

Everything from smartphones to Roombas to demonic furbies is used. It's now up to the Mitchell’s to preserve humanity including cheery mom Linda wacky, young brother Aaron, their squishy pug Manchu, and two loving but simple-minded robots.
**3. New gods: Nezha reborn**

Nezha’s true identity is exposed Yun Xiang is empowered by Nezha the god of rebellion who is violent and arrogant but his newly acquired unbridled power causes further devastation to Yun Xiang’s family and friends. Meanwhile Nezha’s former foes are out for revenge as well.

The story picks up immediately after the conclusion of the previous film. Rose is in his command of the human spacecraft fleet which is battling the alien spaceship flee. The *harvesters* as the aliens are known are aboard the ship “*the armada*” which is orbiting the moon.
Rose freezes before she can fire after bursting through enemy lines and one of her ships is destroyed. Radford had attacked cobalt 1 with the bioweapon the same virus that is afflicting the pilots on earth.
Rose and Leon discover, in retaliation the matriarch attacks killing Radford and threatening to destroy the earth. Owens betrays his teammates infecting Trent with the virus before fleeing with the core drive.
Maul is working on a remedy in the tent city on earth but the infected pilots attack before she can complete her test. Rose returns just in time sucking all of the pilots into her ship and informing Maul that they now have the ability to treat every pilot on the planet thanks to Maul's medicine and rose's ship.

His mounds of riches are secure for the time being behind his impregnable casino vault. Nevertheless, the US president intends to destroy the city in less than 96 hours.
Tanaka is now prepared to pay 50 million dollars to Scott Ward, a decorated former mercenary, and his hand-picked crew to recoup the amount before the bomb destroys the city.
It's without a doubt one of Snyder’s best flicks it's also one of the best movies of the year. So far, his directing player is evident throughout the picture and is really fantastic. By far the best part of the movie is Dave Bautista. This is perhaps the most robust performance demonstrating that he can act and play more emotionally charged characters.

It's a few minutes past 12 am and I can already feel the stress of the new day on my neck- today is gonna be a hell of a stressful day, I got some projects which I need to work on, walks to walk, letters to be written and discussions to be made. I'm gonna be attending several meetings and will be going on a life changing journey today.
I'd actually be leaving the house for the first time in weeks, due to certain things that came up suddenly, so urgent that I gotta work on them as quickly so I can finally have peace of mind. Certain things have been bothering me for some time which I haven't mentioned and probably wouldn't until it's completely solved, been working towards solving them since early December but nothing has been working, hence I decided it's time I took another approach towards this anomaly and solve it once and forever!
I can already anticipate how stressful it's going to be, and how long I'd have to follow up with the processing before it finally works but I'm hoping it doesn't take as long as I'm thinking. I'm gonna be leaving the house for a 45 minutes to 1 hour journey, to the location where I intend to meet up with people in charge of these things, after which I'd have to hope and pray that they allow all things to work fast. The journey alone is gonna be tiring, after which I'd have to take long walks to several offices and blah blah while discussing my case and how I intend for them to assist me. I'm sorry if I can't talk about this something that is bothering me, it's very confidential but I just had to write about it as a way of getting it off my mind.
This is past midnight already at the time of writing, and I shouldn't be awake by this time since I'd be leaving home super early so I could meet up with the early vehicles since I wouldn't wanna get to my destination late. Unfortunately, as much as I need to sleep early, I can't. I have a **Messed up body clock** which I'm not in control of. I tend to stay awake all day while refusing to fall asleep until way past midnight. This body clock may be disadvantageous at this point since I need to wake early tomorrow. Valentine’s day went as quickly as it came and I’m glad it did. I always mentioned not being a fan of valentine’s day, love, relationships, and blah blah. You may be wondering who broke my heart or who damaged my soul to not be able to love again, but it’s not what you’re thinking. Nobody broke my heart, let’s just say that love is not for everyone or that I’ve sealed my heart in a box and placed this box in a deep freezer where it will no longer be able to feel the warmth of emotion and love. Right now, I’m all about logic which involves increasing my finance, investing in myself by learning more, meeting new people, something about self-empowerment blah blah, and nothing else as this is the only thing I need at this point in my life.
I can imagine the number of atrocities that may have been committed yesterday, the heart breaks, newfound love, fornication, unsafe sex, unwanted pregnancies would already be developing in there and so on…In fact, so many ladies would have been kidnapped due to the trust they have for their boyfriends who has got hands in dirty business. A lot of them wouldn’t mind due to something called bragging right and the fact that he constantly gives them money (oh independent lady where art thou). Words like “*I’m going out with my boyfriend*” fills the air and kaboom 24 hours later she’s no where to be found. Calls made, texts sent but to no avail, in the end her remains would be found on the street…I’d rather not go into details. Next thing we’d know is “justice for Susan, justice for Gloria, justice for Valentino”. It could have been avoided if only she had listened and not fallen blindly for money. Ladies really need to learn to be independent and self-sufficient like @Jane, @bmjc98, @Princessbusayo and so on…
Speaking of the atrocity called heartbreak, I came across some random status on WhatsApp where a guy received a Valentine gift from his girlfriend, on opening it he realised it was a big picture frame but with words written on it. Those words were the weirdest thing ever as I was shocked and had to watch the video three more times. The frame was designed with a lot of flowers and love symbols, the words written was ***“ I just want to use this medium to tell you that I’m pregnant for your best friend. I’m so sorry darling***”.
I was shocked on reading those words as I have never seen anything like it in my life. It’s obvious that the love never existed in the first place and one of them was simply having fun with the relationship while it lasted. In this case the lady. Unfortunately, I don’t think she’s gonna go scot-free, I don’t think she’s gonna be safe because if I were in the man’s shoes, as a man of focus I’d hunt her and make her beg for her life. She will receive her own share of pain as no one messes with *kristoffer* and simply walks away… I’m the Nigerian John Wick, a man of focus, a man that doesn’t give up until he attains his goals (*kill three men in a bar with a pencil, I’m the one you send to go kill the Bogey man*).
But sincerely speaking, the lady has mental issues to have sent such kind of information through a frame, sleeping with his best friend makes her even crazy, getting pregnant for him even crazier. The best friend deserves capital punishment for betraying him. In the end, there’s no longer something called a true friend but selfish people who care about nothing but themselves and will deny you at the slightest opportunity.
For those of you that are single, consider yourselves lucky as you’re free from the stress of heartbreak and shipwrecks. It’s the most peaceful life ever, you owe nobody nothing, nobody owes you, you understand the concept of self-love, hence your emotions are in your hands only and no on else’s.

Today was nothing special, regardless of the fact that it's the 14th of February- valentines day, my usual routine of staying in door all day while staring at my laptop and doing some random work remained constant. It was a very normal day except this time I decided to give myself a break from all things work related.
I stayed up past midnight as usual, which made me wake up later than the usual. I woke up about a few minutes past 8 am but decided at that point that I needed more rest. I slept for another two hours and didn't get out of bed until past 10 am. I haven't slept for that long in a long time hence had to give myself that special treat. Unfortunately, sleeping for that long means skipping out on the routine I intended to begin today. The plan was to wake up early for a morning jog which should last for about 45 minutes to 1 hour max, after which I'd freshen up and begin my usual work routine or perhaps rest more depending on my mood.
Since the initial plan was defeated by virtue of my decision to remain on bed, I decided to spend the early part of my day by having a telephone conversation with my best friend. We talked about a lot of things- from our personal lives to everyday conversation and how life has been in general. At some point we talked about the need for her to get another Samsung device as the one she uses is already getting old. We talked about our hatred for products like Infinix and Tecno, and how Samsung is at the top of the food chain.
You see, we're like a small family of Samsung users- me, elder sister, elder sister's husband, best friend, my cousin and blah blah. In fact I'm gonna get my younger sister a Samsung device so she could join the family as she uses a Infinix Note5 stylus at the moment.
Speaking of my younger sister, it's up to a month now since I heard from her, I'd have to call her tomorrow evening to know how she's doing without me...lol! I know she's fine but I gotta tease her over the phone anyway.
After about a 1 hour conversation with Benedicta, I had breakfast and decided to see a movie (two movies precisely), John wick Chapter 2 (Keanu Reeves) and The accountant (Ben Affleck). I've seen the John Wick trilogy already but decided to watch it again as a stylish way of entertaining myself. Funny shit is I've been watching this same movie for over a week now, I watch 5 to 10 minutes of the movie each day, then go back to my usual business so I wouldn't be like Jack (all work and no play... you know the rest). I finally ended the second chapter of John Wick today, after which I began to watch "*the accountant*" and half way into the action my laptop died. There's been no electricity for over a month and there was no longer fuel in the generator so I had to accept my fate and dropped the laptop while resorting to doing random nonsense on my smartphones.
Took a walk to the filling station later this evening so I could get the generator running since I needed electricity but it was disappointment. There was a scarcity hence I couldn't get fuel. Took a long walk to the nearest filling station and it was the same story. Decided to try my luck one more time by taking a bike to another filling station which was really far from the initial. Got there and fuel was available, unfortunately it was crowded. I didn't get to buy fuel until about 45 minutes to one hour later. It was frustrating but worth the wait.
Basically, today was a very boring day for me, it was worse than the usual and I sincerely sincerely cannot understand why. I at some point decided to window shop on jumia.com, checked the price of some Samsung devices which I may be interested in now or in the not too distant future. Came across Samsung Galaxy S21, S10+ and others... I'm interested in the S10+ due to its battery capacity (16000 mAh), you may find this weird but the Nigerians on my list would understand how things are here- poor power supply and the need for an alternative source (solar or generator) while opting for a phone with a very high battery capacity. This device was priced at about $400, a not too expensive phone which I can afford, but I already have two fully functional Samsung devices. It's called window shopping for a reason.
*I'm sorry to disappoint but if you're expecting some random valentine story or some romantic drama then you're probably unto the wrong person as no such thing exists in my dictionary. I'm just like our dear @Jane, no relationship but enjoying the single life. I discovered something called self love a long time ago and I want to enjoy it for many more years before diving into something called a relationship. I've still got a lot of time by my side, don't ask me how old I am, I'm much older than you think... Lol!*
