I am taking a course on how to be a poem writer, and I have decided to share with you through my publications, the knowledge I am acquiring. This way we can learn together.
I especially want to thank my loyal sponsors for their unconditional support. I truly wish them the best this world can give them. I would also like to invite my readers to stop by and review your content, it is very interesting and valuable.
A rhyme is a set of phonemes that are repeated in two or more lines starting from the last accented vowel within a poem or song. Metrics deals with the structure of lines of verse and their combinations, and therefore also with rhyme. It is also a composition in verse, of the lyric genre, commonly associated with the term poem. In fact, some poems are called "rhymes". For example, in the work rhymes y Legends by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. Rhyme is the repetition or acoustic similarity, between two or more verses, of a certain number of phonemes or sounds starting from the last accented vowel. It is considered a rhythmic element of the text in verse. It is used in songs, riddles, tongue twisters and poetry.
We must emphasize that the importance is that the words that rhyme and have the same timbre are the representation of the phonemes, in an unarticulated reading there is always the sensation of this acoustic equivalence. What is meant by rhyme is nothing more than the resources used to give the text an attractive and musical cadence. It involves the repetition of phonemes or sounds at the end of two or more lines taken from the last tonic syllable, evidencing words that rhyme. They can be found in poetry, riddles, sayings, tongue twisters and rhyming songs and nowadays even in rap style. Depending on how the repetitions are, the verses respond to different classifications. These verses that are assonant can help to transmit values, norms or knowledge.
On the other hand, coplas are stanzas of four verses, which rhyme the second and fourth verses with an assonance rhyme. Verse is a tool that uses repetitive patterns that give rise to a musicality or rhythm in poems. Lullabies contain many verses and in turn serve as a learning tool as children enjoy their readings. The repetitive patterns in songs, rhyming poems and readings allow them to memorize them more easily. Let's remember that there are types of rhymes, such as assonant rhymes and consonant rhymes. The first is also called imperfect, assonant or partial rhyme, in this type of verse, the vowel sounds are the same starting with the last accented vowel. The sounds are not marked because the consonants are not repeated and since the vowels are equal, the sounds are more subtle.
Also, the second option can be called consonance, perfect or total. This type of verse occurs when there is an equality of sound from the last accented vowel to the end of the rhyming words, e.g. coso/toso, dama/cama. When all the sounds coincide from the last stressed syllable of each line of verse, that is, both vowels and consonants are repeated, the latter, if any, from the stressed syllable of the last word of the last word of two or more lines of verse. In addition, known as perfect, it is more restrictive and leaves less room for freedom of possibilities and compositions. Rhyme is a resource that, when well used, gives the text an attractive and musical cadence. Another function of rhyme in poetry is to create symmetry, a frequently repeated pattern that conveys a sense of harmony and beauty to an audience.
RHYMES
I
I know a giant and strange hymn
that announces in the night of the soul a dawn,
and these pages are of that hymn
cadences that the air dilates in the shadows.
I would like to write it, from man
I demand the rebellious, petty language,
with words, that were at the same time
sighs and laughter, colors and notes.
But it is in vain to struggle; for there is no number
capable of enclosing it, and scarcely, oh, beautiful one!
if, holding yours in my hands,
I could sing it to your ear alone.
Gustavo Adolfo Becquer
In conclusion, rhyme in poetry establishes structure by creating pleasing or even beautiful symmetry between lines in a poem. In the centuries before the written word, rhyme also helped with memorization, a role that is still performed today. Not all poems rhyme, and not all songs are poetry; rhyme is also employed in composition and advertising, for example. The use of rhyme in poetry, however, is the most common application of both, learned by most people when they are still children. For many people, in fact, any rhyme is a poem and vice versa. Nowadays, these verses are used especially to favor the child's cognitive processes, so nursery rhymes are used in songs that promote action through this combination of rhyming sounds and words.
Do you think we can find more poems with rhyme or without rhyme?

Your article is good, but you would make your explanations clearer if you gave examples. For the uninitiated, I think the concepts can be hard to understand otherwise.
