Greetings, my dear friends and family. How has your week been so far? I hope you are well, your lips are smiling, and your eyes are shining with joy.
First, I want to thank my dear supporters, for their constant support. Thank you for your unwavering love. It is a great honor for me to have you. I thank God every day for your presence.
Today, I want to talk to you about judging by the appearance of people. Have you ever judged someone by their appearance. All people are judging others in their daily lives, some less, some more. It is wrong to judge people by their appearance, because people inside are different from what they look like, but sometimes some small behaviors in the faces and movements of people make us more familiar with them.
Now, if I tell you that in many cases our initial feelings in dealing with others can be quite accurate, would you believe it? We can recognize some characteristics of people by their physical behaviors and face. People usually make it easy for others to judge them by the clues they give to the other person. Let me tell you a little about them below.
An interesting fact is that people who make direct eye contact when talking to you, and don't distract themselves for no reason by looking at the ground and around, are much smarter.
People who are speaking honestly, and frankly with you, their feet are towards you, their arms free, their shoulders back, and their heads high. They make eye contact and their face will be happy and calm. Otherwise, who aren't honestly with you, his body language is inclined inward. That is, his shoulders bend forward, he stands with his hands on his chest, he escapes eye contact, he frowns, and he gets an unpleasant face.
How do we know if a person welcomes different experiences or not? People who look up, have a happy face, and make eye contact with you are people who are always open to different ideas. But a person who has the opposite behavior doesn't accept different ideas.
The extent to which people are adventurous, or introverted, can be deduced from the way they walk. People who walk slow and smoothly are adventurous and inquisitive. But people who walk very firmly and precisely are introverts.
People without hair and shaved heads are usually more determined. Short-haired and bald managers are typically more determined and powerful than long-haired managers.
Some outward behaviors, such as trying not to shake hands, shaking the body excessively and unreasonably, personal hygiene, and nail-biting, can be signs of anxiety and fear in people.
Now let me tell you some interesting research that has been done on people judging others based on their appearance.
If you have an attractive face, people will assume that you probably have other positive qualities as well. Psychologists call this phenomenon the "Halo Effect", that say many people believe the person who have a beautiful and attractive face, must have other positive characteristics such as intelligence and good behavior.
Some research has shown that beautiful people are even more likely to earn higher salaries. In another interesting research, a group of men is given an article by an anonymous woman to express their views on that article. When a group of them were shown a picture of a beautiful woman as the author of that article, they gave more positive comments to that article than a group who were shown a picture of an ordinary woman.
Of course, keep in mind that some times people can give almost correct opinions about your personality based on your face.
In a study, British scientists asked a group of people to look at photos that are shown to them randomly, and to comment on the level of emotions, personality traits and whether they are offenders. A collection of these photos was of criminals in the police database, and a series belonged to actors who were asked to have happy, neutral or angry faces.
The result was interesting. People voted against criminals (without knowing they were guilty), they voted them as unreliable and criminals people. And angry faces were considered criminals by many voters.
Be sure to keep in mind that we should never be deceived by the appearance of people, but some small signs may help us to know them better. And this perception of people's appearance at first glance is very effective in how we treat them afterwards. We can create a good view of ourselves in front of others by maintaining our appearance. So if we want to be accepted in society, we must always look good, and pay attention to each of our behaviors in front of others.
Regarding the second point, did you know that certain people are so good at telling lies that they still maintain eye contact and stand confidently even in their lies.
