There are many legends related to Nowruz. According to a legend, Jamshid, one of the ancient kings of Iran, who had supernatural powers, began to confront the Ahriman (devil) on the orders of Ahura Mazda, because the devil caused a lot of damage, including famine and drought at that time. After that, Jamshid defeats Ahriman, joy and blessing return to the land of Iran. And the drought disappears. People later named this day Nowruz or New Day.
It is also said in some narrations that God completed the creation of man and other creatures on the first day of spring, and man prays and rejoices on this day to thank and appreciate God and His blessings. They count this day the anniversary of creation.
According to various narrations and legends, Nowruz is a symbol of the anniversary of nature waking up from hibernation, which leads to life. Nowruz is also a symbol of the victory of good over evil. And that is why, from our point of view, it is a sacred and respectable tradition. Every year we try to hold it in the best possible way.
On New Year's Day, we eat special dishes such as vegetable pilaf with fish, and vegetable cutlets with rice noodles. This morning I had two more consecutive stages of zombie nightmares, and finally woke up with stress. I said to myself, good for those who can control their dreams. If I could control my dreams, it would not bother me to see nightmares. If I could control my dreams, I could become a superhero in killing zombies. I could be the first woman in the world and in the whole history. I could have wings and fly. I could travel around the world. And enjoy the life in my dreams.
I did a little research on the internet to see how sleep can be controlled. I came across interesting and simple solutions. This kind of dreaming in which we have the power to control our dreams is called lucid dreaming. A clear or conscious dream that is a state in which the viewer is aware that he is having a dream. In lucid sleep, a person can interfere with his sleep process, manipulating and changing what he sees. Lucid dreams can seem real and alive. There are several ways to acquire this skill. The first step to increasing the power of lucid dreaming is to constantly ask yourself during the day whether you are asleep or awake. We call this "Reality Check". The offer to watch this series was made by my husband 5 years ago, and because it is about the life of a serial killer and it is violent, it was initially rejected by me. I always run away from horror movies, and I'm not willing to watch them because I know they affect my psyche. But I faced a lot of pressure from my husband to see this movie. Today I decided to talk a little about my cousin's birthday that it was two nights ago. He had a very happy and exciting celebration. And after a long time that we didn't have a celebration like this because of the Covid-19 pandemic, participating in it really helped to improve our mood. Today I told myself to put aside the educational and new content and talk to you about the weekend I spent. Saturday and Sunday were very good and energetic days for me. Happy hours spent with our friends and family.
The weather was very good on Saturday morning, and we decided to have breakfast with our friends in the open air of a restaurant. We hadn't planned such a program for a long time. The restaurant we went to was new to us, and our friend introduced it. This restaurant is famous for having varied breakfasts. My husband ordered French toast mix and I ordered the restaurant special breakfast. I think the prices were reasonable considering the size of our plate.
