Curation Duo week one/#1 started.
I am going to extend it a bit longer until next Monday(my Monday). You can still submit your entry before I announced the Curation Duo #2 in a few days more.
Last submission for the community SYT: Poem with the topic pandemic will be before Sunday, 30th May 2021 at 6.00 pm Paris time. That will be my midnight on Monday, 31st May 2021.
Below are the entries that we accepted through this week program.
She managed to write one poem a day. Thank you so much. Other than that she also wrote eye-opening articles along with her poetry.
@heartbeat1515 (myself)
Through the screen (Announcement post)
New submission. She wrote few haiku for her first submission.
@Ellehcim mention that she would like to join in. Well, there are still a few more days. We will be waiting. Hopefully to have more other than ours.
Here is my third poem for the topic.
I will try a narrative poem for this one.
Bored.
It is today or is it still yesterday?
The day passes but nothing changed.
The moment I woke up until the time for bed again,
Nothing much can be done.
"Stay at home, wear your mask, wash your hand..."
That is all I can listen to all day long.
The news on the television,
The announcement on the street,
All the information on social media.
It is all about the pandemic.
Covid-19 is here.
Covid-19 is here.
Like the announcement for a king to come.
"Have you take your vaccine?"
Asked the person next door.
"How should I answer?"
I am asking myself.
If my answer is 'No' then there will be a long forceful conversation after.
If my answer is 'Yes" then it will still be a long conversation,
A judgemental one this time.
I am bored.
I am bored with the trend.
I am bored of all the judgements,
The restrictions and decisions that need to be made.
Yet still, it is a must.
Until the pandemic by Covid-19 reaches the end of its era.
I want to read your thoughts, feelings and experiences about the covid-19 through poetry.
Submit it to the community SYT: Poems and you can tag us, @heartbeat1515 and @wakeupkitty
Curation Duo #1 is still going until further announcement.
So a poem about the pandemic?
