I might be late in this prompt but as they always say, "better late than never." So in this article, I just want to share the little fruits of my labor. I don't have much to share, but all these little fruits are special to me as they are the product of my hard work and help me who I am today. Well, enough with the chitchats, and let's dive in!
That fruit that starts it all
Being that kiddo who was so afraid in the outside world, everything I see gave me anxiety. The real world was scary for me to the point that when I walk, I would just look down and pretend I was invisible. I won't even look at people's faces even when talking to them. That's how scared I was.
Pretending to be invisible had helped me survived my early years in school. I just stopped caring about how people look at me or what they think of me. The effect, in the long run, may not be that good as it still gives me the anxiety to look at everyone when walking. However, I just learned not to give sh1t on anyone and focused on my life.
Graduated with honor in Elementary
I am not smart. I never was. I remembered my brother was the one who taught me how to read. Words like "new" were one of the many words that torture me when I was a kid. My brother would always scold me for forgetting how to pronounce it.
However, I didn't give up easily. I kept remembering the words that were stressing me out until I managed to read them on my own. As time went on, I learned to value my studies and all I had in mind was not to disappoint my parents. So I studied and studied. I don't get to be an achiever until in Grade 3, where I finished as 3rd honor.
Although I wasn't like anybody else who would finish their school year with medals, I still managed to graduate on the Top 10. I know I was not smart, but I studied. Hard work and perseverance were my best friend to achieve such.
I had a photo of when I was in Grade 3, but I couldn't find it so no picture then.
Graduated Salutatorian in High School
"How did it happen if I claimed I was not smart?"
I told you, hard work and perseverance are the keys. Honestly, I never expect this. I only wanted not to disappoint my parents. That was just my goal in mind. I had no intention to be in the top 5 as I knew my capabilities. I was never that ambitious in life.
In high school, I was so dumb. Well, here's a trivia about me: I only mastered the multiplication table during my summer class in 2000. I never mastered that when I was in elementary. I hated math before but after that summer class, I finally saw my potentials.
So during the first year in high school, I maintained my study habit. I became more studious than ever to the point that during break time, I would start answering my assignments, so I don't have to do it at home. Unfortunately, I never got to achieve the minimum grade per subject to qualify myself as an achiever. There would always be 1 or 2 subjects to hinder me from being an achiever.
I didn't give up until in 3rd year. That was the time I stopped trying so hard. I still study hard but not to the point that I would memorize their meanings. And guess what? I finally was qualified because all my subjects were at least 85%. I got motivated even more until I reached my 4th year. That was the time, I became more confident in class. In the end, I graduated Salutatorian without the intention of reaching the 2nd spot.
I couldn't find the picture so nothing to show.
Maintained my scholarship in college
I went to college and thanks to my grades in high school, I got myself a scholarship. I was so happy because not everything had that privilege to save 50% from your college fees.
Maintaining the scholarship was never easy but for some reason, I managed to finish my 2-year computer course with good grades. Unfortunately, I did not attend my graduation because I was so pissed off by the head of our accounting department. To make the long story short, I took an OJT with them, and they wanted me to render this amount of hours that ruined my interest in attending the graduation.
So yeah, I was the only one in the family without a picture wearing that toga. No regrets, anyway.
Received more than 20 certificates for being one of the Monthly Top Performers at work
Okay, this one, I have the proofs. I have several of them in my folder, and this is also something I am proud of.
To qualify as a Top Performer, one should pass both quality and productivity. One error won't make you become a qualifier no matter how many transactions you have finished. Oh, by the way, I worked as a Transaction Processor. I processed medical claims and their billing statements.

I was not only fast, but I was also good at making sure that everything I do was perfect or closed to perfection.
Making my hobby my main source of income
After over 9 years working in my previous job, I finally decided to quit and start a new venture in life. That is how I end up working home-based jobs. Initially, I just wanted to do data entry jobs but because there were many applicants in that field, I had to shift from data entry to writing.
Prior to this, I have been a frustrated writer ever since. From writing my dramas on a sheet of paper to blogging on different platforms to joining Bubblews as my first blogging platform that pays to ended up on Kiki Time and met my awesome friends like @Judith1969 @Firenze @bbghitte @Bloghound @BSzandra and a few others.
I knew I was not good enough, but I got so desperate to find a job and used my blogging experience as my ticket to find a client. After 2 months of being jobless, I got my first client as a ghostwriter. I was assigned to write a biography about prominent people like Elon Musk and many more and how they become successful as entrepreneurs. I have probably written more than a hundred of them until I quit after almost a year.
I also landed with another client wherein I had to write about weeds. However, I quit after 3 days coz I was doing 2 clients at the same time and both were time-consuming and not to mention, very stressful. Until I received another job offer in February 2020, and that's my current client now.
Note: The previous clients I had were from a different platform.
Building a dream tiny house
This would be my greatest achievement so far to live in a tiny house that I built using my savings. Although I haven't finished it yet, at least I'm on my way to achieving it. I spent my entire savings on this house and hopefully, I could finish this one day.

Closing thoughts
Every little achievement is always an achievement so be proud of everything you have accomplished in life. Remember, you worked hard for it, and you deserve to reap what you sow.
This is just the beginning, and I'm sure there will be more coming along the way. So keep grinding, and you'll have more fruits of labor to enjoy soon.
