It's a warm morning and I'm left yearning for the lovely rains we had last evening. Here is one more photo showing the plants enjoying the rain! This portion of our campus is a little bit low lying, and hence the rain water tends to accumulate in the garden patches. While this is good during light rains, when we have heavy rains it makes the ground soggy and water-logged - and plants don't like that. Thankfully, with our hot weather, the water logging quickly disappears with…

The power of marketing? I bought a body wash for my son and look at how the packaging is targeted at kids! Amazing isn't it?! It includes a super hero as the main theme of the body wash (Flash) and the entire packaging is themed around that red color. Read the description on the package about what the body wash does! I didn't realise applying soap or bodywash could be so exciting! And then some added trivia to keep my son's entertained while he opens the packaging. They also…

For all those who are using faucetcrypto, do read this announcement. If you created an account with a facebook login, you will need to reset your password and login again as FC has disabled their Facebook login feature. Personally, I try not to link any of my social media or even Google login with anything crypto, as it seems to intrude on my privacy and leads to more tracking. Do you ever use Facebook logins to create an account on crypto sites like faucets and PTC? #Faucet

The rain clouds are coming from afar. I'm just back from work and the scene out of the balcony is one of impending rain. The clouds to the right are lighter and whiter and you can see the clouds to the left and further away are dark and heavy with rain. At the horizon you can clearly see the rain demarcation. The breeze is growing stronger and the smell of rain is in the air. I think the rain will reach here in 30 minutes. Let's see how it goes. The first shot is an ultra…

I think this is my first attempt at multitasking while cooking. Frying a burger patty and french fries at the same time! Yes, I'm not a MasterChef and I'm a nervous set of butterfingers in the kitchen. And this is where I max out on my cooking talent. My wife and I make a great team at running the house though - so although the brunt of the food related stuff is borne by her, I pitch in when I can and take care of cleaning etc. I guess that's why even though my novice effort…

I had posted a few days ago that reCAPTCHA usually never shows boats on water - https://noise.cash/post/lx95mpxr . Looks like Google is stalking this site. Once my post was noticed by admin @noise.cash , my next reCAPTCHA did not show one, but two boats on water! Now was that Google stalking us or noise admin having enough clout to alter the Google algorithms. We willl never know!

It's amazing how different seasons of weather affect different trees in the same place in different ways. I'm enclosing a photo showing 2 trees. (marked with red arrows). The one on the right is fully green with plenty of leaves in summer. As the monsoon approaches, it starts shedding leaves (as you can see) and becomes quite bare by December when it is cooler. The tree on the left gets greener and leafier with the monsoon and cooler months. And they exist side by side,…

How do you prevent your eyes from watering when you are cutting onions? This question popped in my mind when I was tearfully cutting some onions last night. I've seen a few suggestions and tips, but there will surely be much more. 1. Wear eye glasses or shades or a visor 2. Cut them under water 3. Make chewing motions with your mouth. This drains the tears better 4. Force the air away by directing a fan at them. Any more tips? Photo is of the onions I cut messily yesterday -…

I'm into kid mode this week. Baby Shark can be the most annoying song to listen to if you're a parent and your child is singing this repeatedly while running around the house. Thankfully my younger one seems to have just outgrown that stage. For some reason, this song re-entered my head, mainy due to this street version of the song. A street performer takes a song request from a child and guess what he has to sing now? Baby Shark! And boy! Does he nail it. I like his music…

Coffee marketing is an art. I could spend hours reading the description of the coffees and what it does! But nothing comes close to this coffee "Dope Coffee: Dark Matter – Anti Gravity Blend." My balcony garden skills are notoriously poor and any attempt to try something new usually results in a painful death for some living being - usually plants. So my attempt to grow whatever this plant is (?pedilanthus or devil's backbone) even leaves me skeptical. I laboured for 30 seconds and clipped off a stem and shoved it into some soil in another pot and gave it strict instructions to survive. I'll update you if my technique worked.

Banano vault was down for quite a while and gave a few people some nervous moments apparently. The issue seemed to be that a node was not reachable. The error message displayed was "Unable to connect to the Banano node, your balances may be inaccurate!" It seems to be back up. The folks at JungleTV continued to be jolly about it though. Screenshot of the error is enclosed. Does anyone know what on earth this error means? I don't remember my exact balance a few hours ago, but…

Updating the software on my mobile makes me nervous. I always have this morbid fear that the phone will freeze or crash. Also I hate sudden changes in the layout and interface that some updates bring about. This update went on uneventfully and all seemed well will I realised a few apps had been auto installed thanks to Samsung's dumb opt-out or hidden op-in options for preventing those downloads. So spent a while deleting these unnecessary apps and then finally all looks…

Morning haze... It was raining in spurts through the night and is still drizzling. There's a slight misty haze around and the sky is hidden above a thick cloud cover. The plants are coated with water with a few drops hanging on to the leaves and buds for their life! This is the perfect weather for a hot cuppa coffee (done that) and lazing around in bed (can't do that!!) Thankfully it will be a light day at work.

If sugar was discovered and refined in today's age, would it have been banned as an unhealthy edible item and possibly a drug? Refined sugar has so many harmful effects, but it has become such an integral part of many lives. If it had been refined and manufactured in the 21st century, would it have been declared illegal? I'm trying to cut down sugar use and have succeeded to some extent. Are you conscious about how much sugar you consume on a day? Most of it is hidden in a…

After the rain: What do you enjoy most after the rain? This was the question on my mind as I walked a bit to pick some things up after the night rains. Is it the puddles? Is it the smell? Is it the water on the plants? Is it the cold nip in the air? Is it the subdued sounds? The rain has left, but it has left it's touches everywhere.

I don't know how knowledgeable these CAPTCHAs are. In a previous post in August, I had clearly pointed out that they didn't even know which month it was: https://noise.cash/post/14vv4nkn It was raining a lot today where I live. The CAPTCHA world acknowledged the fact that there were showers - but they still couldn't figure out which month it was! April Showers? My foot. It's September CAPTCHA! After some rain, the sun decided to peep out through patches of clear skies this afternoon. It's a bit humid still and the warmth has made the overall weather a little muggy. On a parallel note, we have a few majestic trees in our campus and it's mesmerizing when they are highlighted against the skies. They look even more amazing during clearer days when the sky is bluer and there are fewer clouds. Hope to get a clear day to capture their height and majesty soon!

@a2j

Spoke a little too soon about the sun breaking through patches of clear sky and warming up the day here in my previous post at https://noise.cash/post/lk3mp7m8 As I was typing and posting that post, the clouds rolled in and there was a sudden gust of wind, followed by the familiar pitter-patter of the rain started. Growing garlic in water for my son's school project. My son needs to get some garlic to germinate and root in a couple of weeks. So we've started doing this in the area just inside our balcony. Any recommendations on how to improve this or make it happen without failing? #Gardening

This is the button I miss the most - the 'Engine Start Stop' button on my car. Today we went for a short 20 minute night drive in the rain as a family. It's been one month since we were all in the car together. This is very different from the pre-pandemic life when we would drive together to church every Sunday and did family visits every month and long vacations in resorts and jungles. A visit to grandparents meant a 8 hour drive. None of that happened in the last 1 year.…

"Framing The Weather" I peeked out of the window to look for the sun and realised it was another cloudy dawn. The sun is still looking for a way to break through the clouds, but the clouds are like a solid football defense line and have not allowed the sun to break through even for a second. But the sun is so bright, it still allows the sunlight to stream through and brighten the earth. Humans, animals and plants welcome another day. This picture was shot on my phone which…

Our late night basketball sessions have had some non-human friends give us company. Floodlit basketball and the joy of a clean shot. . . I liked how the basket looked, highlighted against the flood lights when I stood below it. And to top it all my son sank in a few clean baskets when I was taking photos. Caught these two moments on camera. The first is the ball entering the ring and the second is the basketball exiting the net. The sound that is heard when there is a clean basket is beautiful, especially when you're right underneath the basket and it's a…

I've always been a fan of freshly brewed coffee, even with my limited skills. So it sounded criminal to get these pre-made sachets of coffee liquid decoction for my mid morning coffee at my workplace. It's easy to make - add hot milk, water and sugar to taste. I had to modify that to hot water, milk powder and sugar. This is a far cry from freshly brewed coffee, but I need something this easy to make for my workplace. #Coffee

Which are the most profitable games to play on rollercoin for gaining power? I use cryptonoid and token blaster as they give me 1000 points or close to that. Go up to level 3 or 4 usually. I don't remember much about Evanescence, but this song absolutely rocked my socks off. The mix of rock and almost ballad -ike female vocals was a winner and hit the sweet spot. The blues are here again! Over the last few days we have slowly transitioned from thick, gloomy clouds to increasingly blue skies. With the spurts of rain we've had, there's a lot of green around too. The hill close by is also turning greener every day. It's very calming to look at this array of colors - the lush green leading on to the bright blue, as the orange sun wakes up in the morning. These blues chase the blues away don't they?

Does adding salt and flavours to nuts make them unhealthy? As I sit munching on cashews and pistachios at my office desk mid-morning, this is a question that intrigues me. I was glad that I could resist my usual cutlet or samosa snack today as there were nuts kept at my workplace for snacks. My only concern was that they were salted and spiced up. "Escape route" The sun was trapped behind a thin cluster of clouds that spread quite far. I was looking at its light breaking through and realised that the sun must be plotting it's escape route to free itself from the cloud trap and get onto the blue sky. There were patches of blue on the sides and higher up. I'm sure, with millions of years of experience, the sun would surely find its escape.

Watercolor sunrise: Sunday means a later morning start for me. The sun had crept up quite high by the time I went to the balcony. Something about this photograph made it look like the skies, clouds and sun were painted with watercolors. "As busy as ants" This little colony of ferocious looking red ants were in the garden area of our apartment complex. They were tunneling and burrowing in a sand pile. They looked like little specks from our standing position, but when we bent and looked closely, we realised there were 100s of them and they were all busy. This looked like a fresh colony, as the sand passages they had burrowed appeared new. Peering closely, we could appreciate the delicate patterns and shapes…

"The sky is my playground and the clouds are my toys" Every day, the sun has the entire sky to itself. It can shine, it can burn, it can run, it can skip and nobody can stop it. CAPTCHAs are liars! I am very upset with them. They promised a jackpot and gave me 11 coins which is the equivalent of 1/10th of a cent. In the real world, I could have sued them and won. Anyway, are CAPTCHAs inhuman and are they caahle of cheating people? Take a look at these images. The CAPTCHA promised me, before I claimed the faucet at cointiply, that I would 'win hands down'. I almost sent in my resignation papers but held on till I actually made the claim. You can see…

@a2j

This is a continuation of my previous post - CAPTCHAs are liars! https://noise.cash/post/14v9497z Today at cointiply, the CAPTCHAs got even more sneaky with an arrogant overconfidence that shows the ruthless skills needed to differentiate human and bot. It gloated over how it had 'double crossed' me yesterday with a taunt to win. Needless to say, I still had to be a slave and solve the CAPTCHA while it gloated over yesterday's victory. And today, as a consolation, cointiply…

The battle is real. I wonder if this battle is restricted to the concrete jungles we live in or extends to the real jungles far away. The battle between concrete, greens, water, sky snd glass. This photo captures that battle in the morning. The greenery is restricted to large patches that are ever dwindling. Flowing water is thinned out to a tiny stream which is filthy with human garbage. Concrete and glass are taking over and a single tall builing breaks the skyline. The…

I've been using cryptotab pro version on my old android phone at home. It has some advantages over the lite android version. While some of the features like the 1500 hashrate (vs 300), 3 hourly renewal of mining (vs 2 hourly) and no waiting in queue are wuite easy to understand, I didn't understand these 3 features that were enlisted. - Separate profiles for multiple users - Secure connection to public Wi-Fi - Unlimited number of connected remote devices These 3 features are…

FaucetCrypto is turning out to be my favorite non-articlewriting crypto earning site. I reached level 100 today and feel mighty happy. I've been paid multiple times by them and find it easy to earn through their PTCs, shortlinks and faucet (every 25 minutes). Unfortunately, I usually don't qualify for their surveys - if you do, it's definitely their biggest earner! Here's a screenshot enjoying my level 100. You can find a guide on how to earn and proof of payment at my…

Lasith Malinga retires from all forms of cricket. Malinga was one of the most flamboyant cricketers ofnthis generation. Everything about him was flamboyant. His bowling action was flamboyant. His hair was flamboyant. His smile was flamboyant. His sportsmanship was flamboyant. His ability to bowl yorkers was flamboyant. His hat-tricks were flamboyant. I'm sure the cricketing fans from every country will miss him. What do you remember most about Malinga. (Photo from Gulte…

That eerie glow before the sun breaks out at sunrise! It's not too bright and most of the sky looks dull grey and blue, but the sun marks its position with that glow behind the hills. And a few minutes later, it breaks out and fills the earth with its glorious light and warmth. And it's been doing this for thousands of years!!

@a2j

Precursor to sunrise. One of the beautiful things about having sunrise behind a hill, is the beautiful glow that comes on an hour before the sun actually rises. I captured it late today, so the color of the glow is not as brilliant as usual. I should have captured it half an hour earlier. It's almost like a pre-show preview before the actual sunrise!

Sometimes, the crypto earning world gives you a well deserved break from the arduous task of clicking and clicking on and on. ADBTC decided to give me some breathing space as I was doing some short links. This is one of the weirdest errors I have ever gotten on any website. I looked all around and confirmed that I haven't been sucked into a black hole. All is well and the site was back again. The error may hsve been triggered as I took a break in the middle of clicking and…

Chocolates at work! What can be more exciting than colleagues who bring chocolates and leave it on the common desk for all to share?! Certainly the brightest spot of today at work for me. I managed to grab one before they were devoured by the rest. Thankfully, our workplace has several such days. Sometimes it's cake, sometimes it's home made snacks, sometimes it's purchased snacks. It's a wide array of food items that make it to the common desk. There are some weeks when…

It's hard to believe that someone who can belt out melodious music like a diva, can also unleash music with attitude. That's Shania Twain singing That Don't Impress Me Much https://youtu.be/mqFLXayD6e8 The animal print outfit and boots with the cool video have attitude written all over it! The lyrics are sharp and often brutal. The video itself is so dismissive to the guys who are trying to impress her. It's fun though! Listen to it and tell me I'm wrong!

When lightning strikes quietly. At midnight, we had a very quiet show by lightning outside our bedroom window. It was fascinating because there was no thunder - so this was probably far away. There was lightning flashes that made the hill silhouette look eerie followed by the occasional lightning bolts and streaks. I found it difficult to capture the streaks and the silhouetted hill on my mobile phone, but here is an attempt. If you're a photographer, could you let me know…

JungleTV is getting busy again. During the last week or two,there were long periods when the queue was empty and, often, less than 100 folks watching with periods of silence in the chatroom. But look today - more than 2 hours of videos lined up and most are music videos which are less than 5 min. That makes earning faster. Get in and enjoy the music and the company. And earn some banano while you're at it!!

How colorful is the currency in your country? I was looking into my wallet and was thrilled to notice that I had currency notes in almost all common denominations. Indian currency keeps changing frequently and we've ended up with a colorful spectrum of currency notes. It's a bit confusing as newer notes are a different color, especially in the last few years after the demonetizatuon debacle that we all went through. I have to look at every note before I give it away, just to…

Love & Latte, Solido Merlot. Coffee makers try to catch your attention with fancy names for their companies and for the beans they sell. Today, I seem to have landed myself a very exotic coffee by the sounds of it! "Love & Latte" adds a romantic touch. Who would have thought that coffee could spur romance? Maybe it has to do with the fact that I wake up my wife with a cup of coffee every morning. I wonder if she enjoys the morning coffee better than my morning kiss! Solido…

I had posted many weeks ago that my table rose plants were getting gnawed and eaten by squirrels. It was disappointing to see them broken and in pieces. I had put in some spikes to prevent them from getting eaten. They worked partially. Finally, one of them grew a long branch and popped out 2 beautiful flowers this morning. I'm sure they're feeling victorious. It's been quite a struggle and the pot still has half eaten stems and leaves that are a constant reminder of the…

"Glee" was a musical who's music performances were simply superb. I got bowled over by "Somebody To Love" (Originally by Queen) when we chose to sing it at a program. https://youtu.be/YzFbgRcafSE Our lead vocalist was superb but fades when we compare it to what was performed on Glee. Beautifully choreographed moves and a lively ensemble of singers with instrumentalists make this a music video that is worth watching on the big screen Confession: I haven't watched the full…

My rose plant in my balcony died this month. It was struggling to survive in its pot over the last few months and I wasn't the best friend it had. My mom tried her best when I was away at work. She'd try to add nutrients, egg shells and water it. I tried pruning it and watering it judiciously. But it was too old and it needed better care. This photo is from its glorious days 3 years ago. This photo showed up in my Google Photos memories. You can see multiple bloomed roses…

Who makes spelling mistakes? Bots or humans? And is a spelling mistake on a CAPTCHA an attempt to catch out a bot? I still don't have the answers to these intriguing queries. After the node problem at Banano Vault wallet, my balance has finally started showing actual balances in the last few days. However, there are a set of transactions that come up as pending deposits. When I unlock the wallet and try to get them in, it states 'loading' or 'generating proof of work' and does not get processed. Once in a while one of the pending deposits makes it in, but it is not regular and variable. Any idea what I can do about it? Since the funds are there…

Great Ball Of Fire! The sun is a giant ball of fire - some nuclear reaction and physics stuff inside it that makes it burn brightly for millions of years. And on a hot day, that ball of fire is obvious! Like today. The sun climbed into the sky quite early and heated up everything it touched with its infrared waves and what not! Too much physics to start the weekend.

@a2j

After all the glitches with Banano Vault, we saw JungleTV going through a lull with large gaps in the queue and periods of silence in the chatroom. This week saw things get more exciting and busy again with queues becoming longer and a bustling chat room And now ... BOOM! Got 8 Ban per person for a video. That must have been over 10000 Ban distributed. Biggest jackpot in recent times. Did you catch it?

Well, singers are starting to release new Christmas songs already. This one is my Chris Tomlin and is called "Emmanuel, God With Us" and is performed live at Nashville. https://youtu.be/mt_xfOutfSQ It looks like they've set up a great Christmassy stage for this live recording. Honeygain gave me a scare today. I have it on 2 of my mobile phones and on one there was a scary Google Play Error stating the app was dangerous and attempting to steal data and change the device. There was also an email from honeygain that this flagging by Google was an error and that their app was safe. They had a new release to get rid of this error. Did you face this too? Will you continue using honeygain?

What do you drink water out of? And does that affect the taste of the water? There are so many options! A stainless steel tumbler, a glass, a plastic cup or a ceramic cup. I usually use a steel tumbler. They are probably the most robust and can take years of beating. They barely alter the taste, but may leave a slightly metallic feel in your lips. Glass is probably the most neutral and does not alter the taste of the water at all, but is too fragile to use daily. Same with…

We had thunderstorms overnight with heavy bursts of rain. So it's not surprising that the morning is overcast with plenty of clouds. There are some pretty cloud designs and shapes too. As usual, the sun is playing hide and seek. It warmer than I expected after a cool night. I like the way the weather is seesawing between hot, sunny and cool, rainy. This is quite normal in September. The rains usually stop in October and after that it's usually consistently cooler.

The mark of the beast - how evil are my subscribers??! I just noticed that I have exactly 666 subscribers. Biblically, 666 is the mark of the beast and is used in the real world to denote evil (remember the movie OMEN). Have I made my subscribers evil or have my subscribers made me evil? As the saying goes, the devil is in the details! Anyway, this is a milestone I'd like to get past uneventfully and without any ill effects! Let's see how long I stay on this number.

This week's special on RollerCoin is 2x block rewards for RLT. This is an excellent opportunity to earn some RLT which you can use to buy some miners to increase earnings. I don't see RollerCoin as an instant earning site, but a site where you invest time in building a mining rig virtually and then use this ater to make steady earnings. Since I don't eant to invest actual money, offers like this help a lot. Use the Split Power option to maximise the RLT earnings. #Rollercoin

Do you like doing jigsaw puzzles? My ten year old son loves jigsaw puzzles and has the occasional bouts of going crazy over jigsaws a few times a year with large and complex jigsaw puzzles. My 4 year old daughter was given a 60 piece puzzle today - she loved it but couldn't figure out how to put it together. My son put it together for her and she was thrilled. Does the sun have a choice? It cannot choose it's path or trajectory. It just follows the path predestined by the laws of physics. Actually, it stays still while the earth spins and moves to set it's path. Today, if it had a choice, would it move beneath the dark clouds on the right or choose to shine through the clear blue path on the left? I wonder what it would choose? What would you want it to choose?

@a2j

The sun rises with expectations of a clear blue sky that it can shine into the world from. But sometimes all it can do is disappear into dark clouds after it has had a chance to peek at earth. That's what it looked like this morning, but by mid day it's turned out to be a hot day with floating clouds and no rains.

I haven't bought the event pass on RollerCoin, but have been trying to grab as many of the free gifts that can be received on some of the levels. The powerboosts hep quite a bit. I have to reach level 16 to earn some RLT, but I don't think I can reach that this season! #Rollercoin

11 pm coffee time - the Moka Pot. My wife is busy working on a deadline and what better way to show how much I love her than brew a coffee at 11 pm to get her through the night. So I brought out my moka pot and got the coffee done in 5 minutes. The aroma was good and her smile as I gave it to her was worth a million bucks. Hardcore action and visual effects with Tome Cruise taking centre stage. That's Mission Impossible. The theme tune has evolved marginally with each installment of the series and the movie and this is my favorite of them all - they are all very similar. The composers created this music with a 5/4 beat which was unique! https://youtu.be/7g0qfSxFYfM The song swells and wanes as it goes through an intense 4 minutes of high octance action in this video.

How many keys do you carry with you daily? I finally looked at the keys that are in my pocket daily - there were 9 keys. Now, the funny thing is that I can't figure out what some of those keys are - I seem to have forgotten! I'll try to see where they fit. The other keys I do remember are office keys, home keys, bike keys and some keys from church. These keys have the power to open doors, but they also have the power to scratch my mobile phone (if kept in the same pocket)…

The craters of the moon! Finally I pulled out my old DSLR after my phone failed to zoom in on the moon. It was a full moon and the sky was reasonably clear. This is a trial shot and I stopped trying after 15 minutes as it was dark on the balcony and the moon was rising higher. The camera could capture the craters and some features of the moon fairly clearly even though it was not in good focus. Next time I'll give it a better shot.

Canon Rock by FunTwo - the Jerry C versioj. https://youtu.be/2xjJXT0C0X4 This was an enigma in early 2000s. This was a time when youtubers were not very high tech. This guy barely had a face and identity and ripped through Canon as a guitar rock version. This inspired 100s, maybe even 1000s of guitarists to post their own covers of this rocking guitars on YouTube. Listen to it and you'll understand why.

@a2j

It was full moon last night. I'd posted a zoomed in and cropped pic of the moon here: https://noise.cash/post/1p048vgn This is what my mobile could capture. Although the moon looks very plain and white in this shot, what is lovely is the way the hills are eerily backlit by the moonlight. If the other lights from the buildings were switched off, this would look awesome. And it's tough to believe that the moon has no light of its own and merely reflects the sun's powerful…

JungleTV has had some exciting new updates which you can read about in their announcements page. The major change is their CAPTCHA system which is now completely bananas and different from any other CAPTCHA I have ever seen. I'm amazed by the colors of sunset that people post in this channel. As the cooler months appear, the sunsets are less colorful for us. Also our balcony faces eastward and we get some red tinge in the sky and clouds as the sun sets in the opposite side. Today we had a decent hue of red in the sky with the clouds clearly highlighted. Let's see if we get more colorful sunsets in the next few months

Lunchtime for Mr. squirrel. We had lots of squirrels in this tree-filled part of the campus. I was walking around at lunchtime and this squirrel was reminding me of how hungry I was or should be. It wasn't a quiet eater and the little squeaks as it was enjoying it's lunch was quite nice. I could also hear the cracking sound as the nut was being devoured. I wonder where it picked up it's lunch!

@a2j

"Repurposed to enhance your surroundings" I've mentioned in the past that our apartment campus has a coordinator who comes with fun ideas to make our campus unique and beautiful. This repurposed 'bench' is an example. Some blocks of concrete, some large rocks, logs of wood, coir rope and it's all put together to make this quaint sitting nook in a corner. May not be the most comfortable seat, but will make a great place for a little photoshoot!

A rainbow 🌈 to start our road trip. We left before the break of dawn and after the sun rose, it was a joy to see a rainbow in the sky directly in front of us. Can you spot the rainbow?

Flowers are the only things that can make white look good. White is bright, but is still plain. The laws of physics state that white color is created by anything that reflects all the colors and absorbs none. Sounds duh. But look at these flowers - they make white look good! As busy as a bee! These are 3 pics to demonstrate how busy bees are. I was observing them for 15 minutes as a dozen bees were buzzing about these 2 red flowered plants. They would look for a flower, choose one, buzz close to it, have a closer look and then dive in to suck out the microlitres of nectar. Once they're done, they step into the next flower in the bunch. Once they are done with the bunch, they scout around for the next one. I never saw them sit and rest! I guess…

It requires both finger control and some quick thinking. And I managed to reach difficulty level 10 which gives more than 1600 points per game. Do you like Dr. Hamster? And why is there a doctor in the name #Rollercoin

Nature is unique. This hairy caterpillar has a temporary life, but it does it's best to protect itself and survive from its predators with its itchy and scratchy hair. It lives dangerously but doesn't seem stressed. Here it has just pooped and smeared it's poop on the plant as it slowly eats and moves. Shot on my Samsung M31S and edited in Google Photos.

Expect JungleTV to turn the CAPTCHA world uoside down. I have never seen this CAPTCHA anywhere else - looks like it's unique and made by the banano world for JungleTV. It's easy to solve, but you need to solve 4 in a row to get past and continue watching the videos. The problem in a laptop is that the size of the CAPTCHAs are weird and I need to scroll to see all 4. This screenshot is on my mobile.

Hatrick! Finally the IPL saw a hatrick - 3 wickets in a row for Harshal Patel. It's exciting to see things like this live! Pollard, Pandya and Chahar went back to the dugout one after the other in 3 different fashions - caught, bowled and LBW. And now MI are collapsing and RCB on the way to victory. He also took the last wicket and MI were all out at the triple Nelson score of 111!

A different way of showing the weather. We're in my in-laws place which is a cool hillstation. In the morning we get mist, dew and lots of water condensation. Here is dew condensation on my car roof and rear windscreen to make you 'feel' the cold. The place I live in is hot and we rarely see dew even in the cooler mornings. This is a pleasant way to start the day.

The cycle of life. This purple flower plant (I wish I knew what it's name is) has prolific flowers. When you look at it, you find flowers in all stages of their existence in the same plant at the same time - starting with the bud and going on to open, become colorful, spread out and bloom completely to show all its brilliance. After its life is done in a day or two, it starts fading, withering, shrivelling up before becoming dark, lifeless and drying up and falling to the…

What is the weirdest thing you've seen in toothpaste? For a couple of years now, charcoal seems to be popular in toothpastes. This particular toothpaste by Colgate claims to deep clean with the charcoal! The toothpaste is white in color with some black streaks. So it is not black toothpaste. I wonder how this works. Maybe it's from the prehistoric days when humans or animals used natural things or whatever was available to brush their teeth!

Cloudy with a chance of rainfall. That seems to be standard September weather in this hilly region. We went cycling andndriving around the lane and this was the standard weather we saw. It drizzled intermittently the whole afternoon, but it was not heavy.

Is RollerCoin down or having a glitch. None of the flash games load and even their homepage does not load. Here is the screenshot. I'm on Brave with shields down as usual. I've sent a message to them. #Rollercoin

Flowers have such delicate petals and intricate designs. And to top it all, this little insect found a way of balancing itself perfectly on a thin delicate petal! I wonder if it ever fell off and learnt a lesson - or maybe nature allows these things to exist in a state of perfect balance that can defy the laws of physics! Shot on my Samsung M31S and edited on Google Photos

It takes true guts to have the ability to make a parody of your own self and have fun. That's what these folks from Kerala, India have done. https://youtu.be/Qo4m-RzO6KI This is a musical copy of Land Down Under, which by itself is an excellent parody of Aussie culture. Enjoy the little quirks and fun elements in this song and the great accent that is unique to Kerala.

We returned from a truncated holiday and those 4 days saw one of the table roses in our balcony destroyed by infestation. Thankfully, this other little plant in a recycled container did better and had 4 or 5 beautiful yellow flowers ready for us! Inspiring to see it survive against the odds.

Dead or alive? This tree, with barely a leaf on its branches, stands proudly in a swampy region next to a lake and surrounded by greenery. It's rainy season. I wonder if it is hibernating or dead. I know some trees shed leaves during the colder seasons. It's barely September and will get colder only by December. I'd love to go to the same spot every month and take a photo of this tree every month to see if it changes and becomes green again!
