What did you break at your home last? I broke this glass 2 days ago. It was accidental and I take no blame for it. I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but since this is the second one broken in 2 weeks, I am quite certain this was how it happened. I was hearing milk for frothing in a ceramic cup, but ever since I bought a new frother, I've been using this glass to heat milk in the microwave. It's smaller than the cup and hence holds lesser milk. That probably means that when I heat it, it becomes very hot. My physics knowledge makes me think that the expansion of the inner and outer layers of glass is unequal and it cracks. The crack is not felt on the inside or outside, but seems to be inside the glass thickness. So much for physics and knowledge. It's too late for me now. So going back to the ceramic cup!
