My balcony garden skills are notoriously poor and any attempt to try something new usually results in a painful death for some living being - usually plants. So my attempt to grow whatever this plant is (?pedilanthus or devil's backbone) even leaves me skeptical. I laboured for 30 seconds and clipped off a stem and shoved it into some soil in another pot and gave it strict instructions to survive. I'll update you if my technique worked.
