What do you drink water out of? And does that affect the taste of the water? There are so many options! A stainless steel tumbler, a glass, a plastic cup or a ceramic cup. I usually use a steel tumbler. They are probably the most robust and can take years of beating. They barely alter the taste, but may leave a slightly metallic feel in your lips. Glass is probably the most neutral and does not alter the taste of the water at all, but is too fragile to use daily. Same with ceramic cups. I find plastic tumblers and cups are very convenient, but alter the taste a lot. They also get scratched and dirty easily. At home, we don't use disposable cups. Of course, some of you may drink water straight out of a bottle, jug or even the tap! What's your water drinking story? This question occurred to me last night after I was clearing the kitchen and noticed all 4 vessels - so lined them up for a photograph too!
