I don’t know why students most especially PUPians now feel so entitled to high grades. What happened to you, PUPians? Personally, I am so disgusted that 1.75 seems to be unacceptable and low for you. With all the rubrics, guidelines, materials, teaching, and feedback ko sa papers to justify the grade.

I have many students who DID NOT attended the synchronous classes kahit isang beses at orientation but he/she submitted his/her requirements. I checked it, sabaw at hindi manlang nagreflect ‘yung mga naituro ko sa class. Nagpasa nga pero tingin ninyo may napulot sila sa akin?

I understand ‘yung working student thing. Pero baka nakakalimutan ninyo na working STUDENT ‘yun. Ang pangalawang word ay student. Para kasi kinalimutan na ang schedule ng klase at pinagpalit na sa work. Mga dear, naging working student din ako. Physical classes pa imagine, tumatakbo pabalik ng school. Kayo, magzozoom na papasok isang click lang. Wala akong academic ease. Yes, valid ang pagcocontrast ko nito.

I gave him/her 1.75 for that kahit sa totoo ang gusto kong ibigay ay 2.25. Because of the academic ease memo, napakalenient ko at compassionate. At naaawa ako na ako ang maging dahilan para mawala rin ang lister status at candidacy niyo for latin honors, pero pls naman gawing deserving ang sarili sa acads.

Hindi na nga kasama ang attendance sa computation, pero wala namang bastusan na ni ha ni ho, hindi mag-iinform kapag wala sa klase. Ganto ba ang academic ease sa inyo? Nawawala na ang professionalism at character building and communication?

Hindi rin kasama ang recitation sa grading. So anong nangyayari sa class? Napaka ONE WAY ng lahat, sa akin nanggagaling ang info. Ganito ba ang “pag-aaral” na gusto niyo? One-way??? Napakadelikado my dear students!!! You know what I mean! Nasaan ang exploration ng kaalaman diyan? It’s a spoonfeeding session.

Tatanungin mo, magsasalita nga kulang naman sa punto. Hindi mahugutan ng critical discussion, nawawala ang goal na matuto.

This academic ease for me ay nilimitahan ang kritikal, interactive, at malaya na pagkatuto sa klase. Promise, ginawa ko na lahat maging interactive lang ang class. I always remind about the use of chatbox and icons. Kilala ninyo ako pagdating sa ganito.

Pero ito lang masasabi ko. Natuto ba talaga kayo? Anong purpose ng grado na ‘yan kung wala kayong competency? Nagreality check ba kayo?

You demand high grades like 1.00 by just doing the BARE MINIMUM sa class? Minsan nga hindi pa bare minimum. Ano ba ang bare minimum sa class? Ireflect niyo bilang mag-aaral. KOLEHIYO kayo, hindi Junior High School. Ito ang last stage para maging propesyunal.

Jeez may nagreklamo pa sa akin bakit 1.50 siya gayong marubrics akong tao at maexplain ng instructions at pamantayan.

Practice also how you deliver your concerns hindi ‘yung tunog accusatory. Maging polite sa pagtatanong at paghingi ng clarifications.

Hindi nakakatuwa my dear students. Sobrang kakaiba kayo ngayon honestly from the bottom of my heart. I always communicate with you and ask your situations. Alam ninyo pagmamahal ko sa inyo pero iba na talaga ‘yung pagiging GC ngayon. I don’t know where did you get the nerve??

Sige, dalhin ninyo ang PL at DL na iyan sa realidad ng pagtatrabaho at disiplinang tinahak ninyo kung talagang feeling ninyo deserve at competitive kayo after the courses.

Ending Thoughts

Yes, as a students we are all accountable to do and pass the activities on time, but the that we are still in pandemic. I guess we are all suffered because of this, we are all affected students and Teachers. I hope that you will give justice to our efforts that we did. As for me, I can't be demanding the grades that was given to if I knew that this grade that I received deserves for me.

One thing, to those Working Students out there. I know that it's very difficult to study while working. Please be responsible and always apply the word Time Management. Because, Honestly Speaking at the end of the day. Our Achievements and Educational Attainment will never be a measurement to be called successful in life. For me, as long as I knew that I passed it is okay for me. Just enjoy while studying, don't pressure and stress yourself.
