Shine Like Gold, Sparkle Like Glitters ***September 17, 2021*** Time of writing: 11 am 09/16/21 Another day has come and another pain hit my head thinking about what to write. My attention got caught by this gold-colored decoration on my boss's flower pot together with her favorite orchid. She assembled this yesterday as preparation for the upcoming Mid-Autumn festival. I posted this on noisecash and commenters thought it's a Christmas decoration. I hope it is, but these Chinese at home doesn't like decorating the house with Christmas displays.

We are living in this toxic society wherein people don't care about their environment or minding their thoughts and words before throwing lies onto and about others. And don't even care if it would ricochet at any point in life just like what George said. And if there are living human creatures in this world who don't lie, I guess, those are newborn babies. Even ignorant kids lie as well when they are caught red-handed from wrongdoing. Even the blind who can't see tells a lie when asked about what he heard to avoid getting into trouble. Even the mute who can't talk tells a lie when saw something bad but prefers to keep the bean behind his back to prevent him from getting an additional burden. **How will I connect this to the metaphor about gold mentioned above?** Being in this toxic society makes people toxic as well to the point that they will find the dirt of other people just to satisfy their toxic minds and loquacious mouths. They will take anything they find with a grain of salt but only filter the negative ones and leave the positive ones inside their purse. ***The worst scenario is when they reverse the truth and make it a lie.*** And lying seems to be part of their daily cycle that they become used to it along with digging about the dirt of other people. There are many cases about these dirt diggers even in my country. Upon waking up in the morning and stepping out of their respective houses, they will form a group and start broadcasting rumors about other people's businesses, and we call them, the human CCTV.

Rumors that are unsure and don't have a rational basis. But what I hate about these people are their acts of minding other people's lives but can't even manage to make theirs right. Their kids at home are still messy and unbathed, and houses are still uncleaned. I remembered when I was in college, my relative spread rumors about me being pregnant where in fact I was single and had no boyfriend at that time, lol. That relative is the same person who called me ugly when I was a kid that I mentioned in my previous article about the prompt Beauty. Unfortunately, people in our village know the truth about me and the rumor was fake. These people are worse than gold diggers and don't claim the truth as they are being obtained by lies. Turning the "CT" from the FACT and making it "KE" in which forms FAKE that stands for LIE. A lie is one of the people's dirt that is unwashable and irreversible once thrown out to different areas of the community and landed as misinformation. Some will even believe without defining first the real meaning of the rumor they got because they are part of the dirt diggers clan as well. However, the truth is being obtained if rumors are filtered well and wash the dirty particles to see the gold. Instead of finding the dirt of other people, better wash the dirt and find the gold because it is much worth finding than spreading the fake news and putting dirt onto your own self that might be indelible if left unwashed for a long time. We humans are not pure and not totally clean because our lives are full of dirt, the uncertainties, flaws, challenges, mistakes are some of our dirt in life. We are living in this toxic world surrounded by toxicity wherein our feet are placed on the dirty ground while walking on a dusty and polluted street and meeting different people with different dirt in life. Remember that gold is found in the dirt and they co-exist. You can collect the dirt but wash them off and leave the gold. Although sometimes it is hard to find gold, with pure intention, it can easily be spotted shining in your sight. Shine like gold, sparkle like glitters There's no sense living in this world if everything is tainted with our sins and stained from digging other people's dirt. Life is beautiful, albeit living with some difficulty. We just have to deal with the dirt of life and wash them off to see the gold. Stop digging the dirt of others and start washing your own dirt. Stop spreading fake news and start correcting your own mistakes. Stop judging other people's lives and start polishing your own shoes. Stop looking at the negative side and start viewing your own life positively. Stop tarnishing your life and others and start shining like gold and sparkling like glitters. That is the only way to enjoy our life and appreciate the beauty of the world despite being surrounded by the dirt of life.
