Is it Mandatory or Not to wear school uniforms to School?

I am a teacher, but I'm 50/50 with this idea, why? Because personally I know how hard was life now, and not everyone can afford and wear a school uniform, and because my students are Aetas who are located in remote areas and they are not capable to buy some uniform talaga. But for the reason na iba kasi ang impact kapag naka-uniform, like it's another thing used for motivations sa mga students, na they can feel that they are students and they wore a uniform that symbolizes not just their personality as a person but the school that they are in.

Didn't know the state of Philipines. Yeah, there will always be pros and cons. We have to live by it.

If I'm still a student at this time , I would still prefer on wearing my uniform upon going to school. It's a privilege for me actually, to even wear as it's a dream of me to wear uniform, As a mother too, i would prefer my son to wear his school uniform. Iba na kasi ang generation natin ngayon, kaya yung ibang bata mas prefer nilang mag uniform kesa tawaging pasaway or bastardo, at least pag naka school uniform sila nirerespeto pa din sila

I still stand for school uniforms. Dapat ang inimplement nilang batas is free uniform for all.

Sa university namin pwede naman hindi naka-uniform, basta decent ang suot

I still prefer to wear uniforms. Actually college wears uniform is not mandatory in my time eh, they were only for those who want, lol. Sino maguuniform eh pupunta kami as bukid. But lucky I was, living inside the university so I could still wear uniform and goes back to dorm if activities happened.

But mere the fact, wearing and in the best uniform also gives inspiration to dwelled in class more.

for me sis, di naman masyado mahal ang uniform eh, tapos madali pang matuyo kapag labhan, ako kasi yung type na mag uuniform kasi feel ko magastos ang mag civilian, imagine, nakakahiya namankasi kapag pabalik balik yung suot mo, diba, so bibili ka ng bago, ganun.

Pero sa totoo lang mas okay pa naka uniform Kasi sa panahon ngayon Mahal nadin Yung mga panglakad na damit. Naalala ko nung college ako civilian kami jusko paulit ulit damit ko haha

Nakita ko din to sa Facebook Mars. Malaking tulong talaga din lalo na sa mga parents na problematic pag about sa uniform na kasi another gastusin naman pero maganda din naka uniform lahat para ma identify na student sila. May pros and cons talaga mars tama ka.

It should not be mandatory. My son's school has a mandatory rule but in this hot summer school uniform is not at all comfortable.

Though school uniforms are not mandatory i guess schools all over has their own or atleast rules regarding it. And crop tops without further debates should not be allowed, hahaha. They are not going to a mall anyway. In the long run school uniforms are much better to avoid discrimination among the poor or for kids to feel different just because they are not wearing it. Our government should atleast issue a pair for students who can't afford to have one. They can wash and wear it for the whole week instead of mushing what to wear everyday. Or some people should donate their unused or old uniforms for them.

Sakin lang ha, ang pangit pag walang school uniform parang hindi unite yung students.

My personal idea, mas okay na hindi mandatory ang uniform basta guided pa din ng elders ang free style nila. Para naman maiwasan ang outsiders kc wala na ngang uniforms, ID pa din importante at may lists naman ang teachers.

Need ng uniform for them to be recognize na studendt sila kasi kahit gaano oa katigas ang ulo nila pag yung school implement ng uniform policies no choice sila. If ever walang uniform baka yung iba wagas makaporma at hindi na appropriate at dagdag lang salabahin hahaha.

I think the best way is to practice na lang both virtual and f2f pa din. Ituloy ang online para sa mga batang hnd makakapunta sa school dahil ayaw nila tlga or malayo sa echool at problem ang pamasahe. Sa ibang mga public school kasi sis, no problem ung mga susuotin. May ibang nagbibigay ng mga PE uniform ng libre, pandemic pa lang kasabay nung mga packs na binibigay sa mga bata.

Nitong pandemic narealize ko na whatever we wear, kung gusto ng bata matututo, matututo yan eh. Sana nga hindi maging mandatory ang school uniform ngayon sa mga public schools.

I agree with this, kasi ang laki ng gagastusin ng parents sa pag provide PA Lang ng uniforms and hirap ng buhay ngayon Sana wag na sila e require para bawas gastos din.

For me, need talaga. To show na student ka talaga . ang iba kc pumapasok lng sa school pra pumurma, lol..
