And.. my favorite day of the week has come again. I've always looked forward to Fridays, I never missed a week not missing it.
[This one is meant to be posted yesterday, Friday, but I slept while writing it, so there you go. Be confused no more. LOL]
Friday morning, 6 a.m. I honestly did not want to go to work. The side effects of the Moderna booster shot yesterday came kicking in this morning, and I am not in the best condition. My body feels heavy. The left arm hurts so much, and my eyes also hurt. It's like not getting sleep for two days straight—that feeling.
I actually messaged someone from the HR Department, and ask her how she's doing, because we both had the jab yesterday. I gave a hint about the possibility of me not coming to work. Well, she insisted that I go, and just take some meds like Paracetamol to feel better.
Today was the scheduled Company's APE (Annual Physical Examination), of ALL times. The HR person told me that it's okay for newly-jabbed people like us to still undergo the Physical examinations..
If it not were for the APE, I'd have already gave a word to my supervisor about not coming to the office today. After the few minutes of contemplating my life decisions, I still got up anyway, and just prayed that I'll feep better eventually. Yi know, this APE is the only 'free' thing I enjoyed from our healthcard LOL. Might as well enjoy it before 2021 ends, right?
I had my breakfast, took the meds, and thank God, I got better, at least better than earlier.
Arriving at the office, I heard that we are all gonna be tested by batches, so as long as we aren't still called, that means work, work, work!
It ain't fun, dude. I was just secretly yawning the whole time! My eyes were filled with tears, and I frequently went to the bathroom to dry my eyes, and nose of course. I just wanted to sleep right now! I feel hot throughout my body, thought not that bothersome nor severe. I was just sure I had the strongest urge to file an undertime or half day, or whatever, just to go home. It's funny, now that I remember it. That was one of the weakest feelings I had, so far.
Finally, the next batch was called, and I was one of the people.. When I got out of the air conditioned room, out of the company premises, and smelled the outside air again, I woke up. Man, I was half asleep, I guess I could say that.
We walked into the facility and followed the instructions there.
First step, registration. The health worker handed me a container to be used for the urinalysis sample later, along with my number. I filled out a form with important data.
Second step, and onwards, the medical examination per se. I got my pulse rate and blood pressure tested. I remember that the health worker told me I must be nervous because my pulse rate is HIGH! I got really shocked that time, because I was so relaxed the whole time! I don't know what went wrong, but anyway, I did what she said. And I guess that helped.
Moving on, I got on a weighing scale, and I got a whopping 50 kilos! And a height of 162 cm. Anyone here who knows how to compute BMI? Please tell me I ain't overweight yet. LOL, just kidding. If you know, tell me in the comment section.
Next step, blood extraction. This is one of the things I don't like, honestly. Thus time, they git some blood through my right ring fingertip. It was fast, and I am sure the health worker assigned was careful, yet, it's still painful.
After those activities, there was atually no specific order of what to do next LOL. We were just told to go to a station with least queue of people. You see, we just had to accomplish all the tick boxes, and come back to office aferwards.
I went straight to the restroom when I felt like I had to pee. Yes, for urinalysis! I felt happy knowing I drank lits of water before coming here, so I did not have to force myself to pee.
After submitting the container, I headed to the X-Ray place. It took less than twenty minutes. Good thing the people let me in, even their protocol said to not let a woman have X-Ray if she has not undergone Physical Examination yet. Well, the line of people in thus are is so long, and I got little patience today, because I was under the weather.
Maybe my convincing powers have worked for them, because I said I don't have a boyfriend, so there's no way I am pregnant, LOL!
X-Ray done, next stop: Eye check-up! I was shown series of optical illusions with numbers in it. In the second part, I successfully perfected the Reading Test, those small letters were still clear to me. I was happy to know my eyes had no problem.
On to the last step of this APE, the physical examination. I was interviewed a bit about my medical history, and the doctor checked on a few things, like my chest, my ears, and eyes.
I finally saw all the tick boxes in my form and went back to the office afterwards.
The next half of the day was uneventful, since that was just me secretly ranting how slow time flows when I am working and not feeling well, at the same time. I wonder how many times I mention "sleep" today.
Anyway, this has been my sharing about my Fri-Yay! I appreciate you reading this.

Lol having the booster shot and the side effects are really no fun at all. Mine is Astra Zeneca and I did not escape from the side effects. Haha.
