Teddy Will Never Be Left Alone
Adam's new favorite this time is Teddy. Whenever he is going, he would definitely bring Teddy with him. Seems like his day isn't complete without his favorite on his side. To those who haven't known Teddy, it's Adam's life-size Teddy Bear and he called it Teddy. He loves it so much and even when he sleeps, he made sure that he is on his side or he put his head on the body of Teddy.
When we went to Cebu, Adam prepared first his Teddy bear and he let me and his siblings prepare his clothes. He put it inside the big green eco bag and then put it again on the big traveling bag that his father bought so Teddy won't be left at home. Those people who saw us carrying big traveling bags might think that we have lots of things in that bag but the truth was, Teddy, occupied half of that bag.
When he was lying on the hammock, Teddy was there too. He comfortably lay down while Teddy was on his back. I swayed the hammock so he could sleep that afternoon but when his cousin joined him in the hammock, Adam never sleeps. When we also stayed at my father's house in Lapu-Lapu City, my father joked with Adam saying that he wanted Teddy and he should just leave it in the house but Adam declined. We were laughing hard at his reaction. When my father sleeps and hugs Teddy, he just lets his father hold it but during the sleeping time, he gets it because that is what he used as a pillow.
This photo was taken last Wednesday when we were sitting at the side of the ship so we could watch the nearby scenery. At first, I was the one holding Teddy but when Adam get jealous, I handed Teddy to him and capture this moment with them together. Adam is really happy having Teddy in his life. He slowly became independent because when he sleeps, he just has to hold and hug Teddy this time unlike before when I needed to be on his side until he fell asleep but sometimes I was the first one who fell asleep.
"Seeing how Adam took care of his Teddy made me realize that this little man will be a loving and responsible man in the future because he knows how to take good care of Teddy and he cared for him as if it is a baby."
