There is not much difference between human beings and other animals. Both have ed. But people have two things with it, ego and super ego.

****Rutherford’s Atomic Model :**** On the basis of the observation made by Rutherford , he proposed that a complete model of the atom which is named as “Rutherford’s Nuclear Atomic Model” .
****According to this model :****
I) Atom Contains a massive (heavy) and positively charged part at it’s center . This central part of the atom is called nucleus .
II) The volume occupied by the nucleus is only a minute fraction of the total volume of the atom .
III) Atom is not all solid as was earlier suggested by Dalton but it’s extraordinary hollow , since it consists of lot of empty space round the nucleus .
IV) Electrons are revolving round the nucleus is closed orbit with a fast speed and hence almost all the spaces round the nucleus is occupied by the revolving electrons .
****Limitations of Rutherford’s Atomic Model :****
Bohr pointed out the Rutherford’s atomic model is extremely unstable for the following reasons .
I) Newton’s law of motion and gravitation can only be applied to neutral bodies such as planets and not to charged bodies such as tiny electrons moving round a positive nucleus . The analogy does not hold good since the electron in an atom repel one another , where as plants attract each other because of gravitational forces .
II) According to Maxwell’s theory any charged body such as electrons rotating in an orbit must radiate energy continuously thereby losing kinetic energy . Hence the electron must gradually spiral in towards the nucleus , the radius of the electron will gradually decrease and it will ultimately fall into the nucleus .
III) Since the process of radiating energy would go on continuously the atomic spectra should also be continuous and should not give sharp and well defined lines .
****Planck’s quantum theory of radiation :****
I) A hot body emits radiant energy not continuously but discontinuously .
[Quantum : A quantum is the smallest unit of waves in the form of which a hot body emits radiant energy and which can exist independently .]
II) The energy associated with each quantum or photon of a given radiation or light is proportional to the frequency of the emitted radiation or light .

III) The energy emitted or absorbed by a body can be either equal to one quantum of energy or any whole number . Say , ‘n’ multiply of this unit . [ E = nh***ν*** ]
**Bohr Atom Model**
*Bohr’s atom model retains the two essential features of ‘****Rutherford Atomic Model****’.*
1. The atom has a very small positively charged nucleus at its center. All the protons and neutrons are contained in the nucleus. Thus most of the mass of the atom is concentrated in the nucleus.
2. Negatively charged electrons are revolving round the nucleus in the same way as planets are revolving round the sun.
*Bohr made the following postulates.*
1. ****Fixed Circular Orbit**** **:** Bohr assumed that an electron is a material particle which is revolving round the nucleus in concentric circular orbits situated at definite distance from the nucleus and with a definite velocity .
2. ****Stationary Energy Levels**** **:** As long as electron remains in a particular orbit , it neither emits nor absorbs energy. Thus in a particular orbit , the energy of a revolving electron remains constant or stationary. Hence each of the fixed orbits is associated with a definite amount of energy. The orbits are therefor also called stationary energy levels or simply energy levels or energy shell .
3. ****Jumping of the Electrons From One Energy Level to the Other**** **:** When the electron is excited , from a lower energy level to a higher one it absorbs energy . On the other hand when it comes back from higher energy level to a lower energy level , it emits energy . The quantity of energy emitted or absorbed is equal to the differences between the energies the atom passed before and after the electron changed energy levels .
If E1 and E2 are the energies of the electron in the energy level 1 and 2 . then the amount of energy absorbed by the electron incoming from energy level 1 to energy level 2 is given by the relation ,

4. ****Principal of Quantisation of Angular Momentum of the Moving Electron**** : Bohr postulated that, an electron can not move in all the orbits. It can move only in that orbit in which the angular momentum of the electron moving round the nucleus is integral whole number multiple of n .
**Characteristics of Light De Broglie’s Equation**
According to *Max Plunks Quantum Theory of Radiation* some phenomena like photo electric effects and black body radiation can be explained if light radiation is supposed to behave as a material particle. Which is localized at a particular point in space. While according to *Maxwell’s Wave Theory of Radiation* certain other phenomena like detraction , interference and polarization can be explained if light radiation is supposed to behave as a wave which is spread out over space. Thus we find that light shows dwell character i.e. (that is/ id est) behaves both as a material particle or as a wave.
In 1924 a French physicist **Louis de Broglie** extended the idea of duel character of light to matter particles and suggested that ,“All matter particles in motion have a duel character.” I.e. all matter particles possess characteristics of both a material particle and a wave. The wave associated with matter particles is called De Broglie’s Matter Wave.
Since an electron is also kind of matter particle , it also has a dual character.

A Great Traveler - Ibn Battuta
Once Ibn Battuta had a dream. He was travelling on a huge bird over Asia. On that time he was in a roof in Egypt. Waking up he decided that he would travel the whole world. He also swear that he would never visit a place twice.
At first he went to Makkah with the pilgrims and completed the holy Hajj. At the end of all religious observances, he left Makkah with a large number of pilgrims. At that time he was wearing same white clothes like the other pilgrims. No one in the crowd could not be recognized. They were walking through the wild and sandy desert. They started their journey after sunset to escape from the scorching hit of the sun. They lit torches to find their way in the dark of night.
In the beginning, Ibn Battuta wanted to visit the countries of the Middle East. But after a year, he changed his mind and returned to Makkah to study.
After four years Ibn Battuta started traveling again. He is not a young Haji anymore . He is now a Muslim scholar. This time he did not want to go out just out of curiosity. He heard that Sultan Muhammad Ibn Tughluq of Delhi, India, had a kind heart for the Muslim scholars. So he thought that once he reached India, he might get the Sultan's favor. There he will be able to do religious work in peace.
With this in mind, Ibn Battuta left for India in 1332. Arriving in the Punjab of India, he became separated from the people of the main party. After that, only 21 people remained in his team. At that time the area was notorious for robbers. The robbers could easily hide themselves in the middle of the dunes. It is also easy for them to escape through the dry river after the robbery.
A few days later, Ibn Battuta and his party were caught by robbers. Led by two horsemen, 80 robbers attacked with sharp swords and bows and arrows. However, the people of the caravan did not run away and fought bravely with the band of robbers. They even killed 13 of the attackers. When everything was calm, they found out that Ibn Battuta and his horse had been shot. At midnight that day, very tired and exhausted passengers took shelter in a nearby fort to rest. In the next morning, they saw the heads of 13 robbers on that terrible battlefield.
For all these reasons, it took Ibn Battuta about two years to reach Delhi. But as soon as he reached the palace, he first noticed one aspect of the Sultan's cruel character. Executioners are sitting at all the doors of the palace to carry out the orders of the Sultan. It was learned from them that if the Sultan gave anyone the punishment of death , he was ordered to carry it out immediately. He did this often. The body of the culprit was then left at the entrance of the palace.
The huge doors of the palace were opened for the famous Moroccan tourist Ibn Battuta. He passed the giant guard and the sultan's officials dressed in peacock feathers and slowly appeared at the sultan's chamber.
Thousands of pillars descended from the beautifully decorated curved roof to the Sultan's court. He saw at least 50 huge elephants standing near the walls around the court. 60 horses in front of the elephant. In front of them again the warriors of the Sultan's army. Then a crowd of sultan's servants and officials. The Sultan sat right in the middle of the court.
Ibn Battuta soon realized that what he had heard about the Sultan was true. The Sultan is really a generous man. So Ibn Battuta did not have to be disappointed. He was appointed as a Qazi of Delhi by the Sultan. He also granted him a huge pension so that he could live comfortably.
But even with such a large royal position, Ibn Battuta did not feel secure at all. Because the Sultan's mind is as changeable and whimsical as the weather. He was also very angry person. Once feeling very humiliated for some reason, this Sultan ordered the army to expel everyone from Delhi. Many more such incidents are heard in the name of the Sultan.
One day Ibn Battuta was also deprived of the Sultan's good eye. Sultan summoned Battuta to himself. Ibn Battuta went to the Sultans Chamber with the four servants of the Sultan. He was so frightened that he turned his attention to religion. He fasted and read the Qur'an regularly.
The Sultan's mind melted. The Sultan rewarded Ibn Battuta and sent him to China as an ambassador.
So in 1342 Ibn Battuta started traveling again. About eight years after arriving in Delhi, he left for China. However, three days after leaving Delhi, he was again attacked by robbers.
Ibn Battuta tried to escape on horseback. But this time his luck did not help. His companions also spread around. Forty robbers surrounded him and there was no way to escape. Ibn Battuta dismounted and surrendered.
The robbers took everything he had and took him prisoner. After a few hours, Ibn Battuta realized that he would be killed. However, after a while, one of the robbers took pity on him and released him.
Ibn Battuta escaped death but was left alone in a hostile country. He started living as a fugitive. About a week later he met his friends. But none of them recognized him. Because he lost his horse and nice clothes. His hands and feet were cut and wounded. His friends requested him to return to Delhi as such a bad incident had taken place at the beginning of the trip. But Ibn Battuta was stubborn. He did not return to Delhi but continued on his way to China.
After that...
Ibn Battuta continued to travel to different countries. He has been shipwrecked twice, surviving the terrible plague in Syria. Along the way, he also encountered heavy snowstorms in the Sahara Desert. He died at the age of 64. The path he has traveled in his entire life is equivalent to traveling around the world three times.

Earthquake Explained
At first you may think that you are feeling dizzy. Soon you realize that it's something else. Everything is rocking .
Yes , I am talking about earthquakes. We are facing this problem from the ancient times. Here I am presenting some information of 5 biggest earthquakes,
*2003 - In Iran - Scale 6.6 - 26,000 Died*
*2004 - In Indonesia - Scale 9.1 - 230,000 Died*
*2005 - In Pakistan - Scale 7.6 - 100,000 Died*
*2008 - In China - Scale 7.9 - 90,000 Died*
*2010 - In Haiti - Scale 7.0 - 220,000 Died*
There are some reason behind earthquakes. There are also some **myths** and beliefs. Indian mythologist says, there is a snake named Bashuki. It has thousands of snake on one of which earth is situated. When that snake shakes head, earthquake occures. Europe has their own belief. They think earth is on a turtle. When the turtle moves, earthquake occurs. However, science can explain this very easily.
Earth don't needs any base to stand, it is floating in the universe by the balance of centripetal and centrifugal force. It takes a lot of energy to occur earthquake.
**Where does the energy come from ?**
The energy comes from the center of the world. When the energy comes out, it creates **seismic vibration**. This vibration spreads around. It is like the vibration of water when we throw something.
There can be several reasons for such energy to come out. A simple reason is the **eruption of the volcano**. At this time the earthquake occurs in the vicinity of the volcano. We have to go a long way to the past to understand the source of earthquakes.
Once all the land parts of the earth plate were together. Over time, they have moved away from each other. In 1912, German scientist Alfred Vagner named it **Continental Movement.** The surface of the earth consists of a number of rigid plates. Scientists call these plates tectonic plates. Tectonic plate is the outer covering of molten material inside the earth. It means a rock layer. Everything on the ground is located on these plates.
The tectonic plates are side by side. Energy is created when they collide with each other for any reason. This collision is sometimes soft and sometimes strong. The higher the level of collision, the more energy is released. The energy then escapes and comes out through the seismic waves. If the wave is strong, it reaches the surface of the earth. Then it shakes the earth crust. We call it an earthquake.

My Little Brothers Photography

My Aim (Then VS Now)
In my childhood, I always faced two types of questions.

**>>What is your aim ?**
They could ask if I wanted gift or not. But they never asked them. They always asked me serious questions. When I was a little kid, I wanted to do many things. When I saw Ice-cream seller in front of my school, I wanted to be an **Ice-cream seller**. After watching films, sometimes I wanted to be **one eyed pirate**. Sometimes I wanted to be **Superman** with my mothers red scarf on my shoulder. Once a found a spider on my leg. Then I thought to become Spiderman.
As soon as time passes, I started learning the reality. Being a superhero is not possible. I had many colorful dreams. I like photography, so I wanted to become a **photographer**. Because I love photography so much. I don't have a good quality camera, but I take pictures with what I have. I also dreamed to become a **chocolate company owner**. Because I loved chocolate a lot. I thought that if I become a chocolate company owner, then I can eat chocolates whenever I want. Because my mom would not let me eat too much chocolate.
Sometimes I watched detective movies and wanted to become a **detective**. Solving mysteries is fun but the work is risky. I also wanted**, mountain climber, astronaut** etc. Pilots also have risks of their life. They cant spend much time with their own family. Their daily routine also changes. After all, risky works brings more money and sounds more fun. Whatever, when I realized that I have to choose only one dream, It hurt me a lot. Because I wanted to become all of them.
My dream again changed with the flow of time. **I started thinking money is everything.** Money is the thing that could make me happy. I wanted to become rich like **Bill Gates**. So, my aim was becoming rich and successful person.
Now I have realized that money isn't everything. Being a good and kind person is also important. Money is not the only thing that makes people happy. Being rich is not easy, but it is very easy to become a good person.
I don't know if I will be rich or not. I will always make people happy and never hurt anybody. Because making someone happy also makes me happy.
**Childhood days were much better**. As soon as we grow older, life becomes more difficult. Because life is not a bed of roses. I still miss my childhood and childhood memories. I wish if I could return my childhood again. I also have lost many of my childhood friends. Being a kid is awesome.

My Dream to Become Anne Frank-Publishing My Diary
***I clearly remember the day I was caught with the diary.*** *I used to hide my diary under the mattress of my bed. After returning from school, I would close the door and write about various incidents at school.* ***Whose pen was stolen today, who fell in love with someone, the great idea of putting chewing gum in Sir's chair*** *and much more. As a school textbook, we read Anna Frank's diary in those days. Maybe many years later, someone would find my diary and I would become famous. I was hopeful.*
*But my mother interrupted. When I came back from school, I saw my mother was angry. I discovered my red diary in her hand. My condition worsened when* ***she started asking questions. Do I really love Sneha in our class? Did I throw the remote controller of the TV through the window? Dad couldn't find his expensive pen, then have I stolen it?*** *Then the diary was shifted in my mother's almirah. Whoever wants to write, he is no longer stuck. Two days later I started writing the diary again.*
*Some diaries with locks were available in New Market at that time. I saved Tiffin's money and bought that diary. In that diary, the story of my love was included. The disaster happened elsewhere.* ***The key to the diary was so short that one day it fell out of my pocket and was lost.***
*My uncle is a doctor. We used to have a lot of diaries in our house for the welfare of the company. From there I chose one and started writing my third diary. Handmade paper, beautifully designed with watercolor on the cover. The busyness of life has increased in those days. So I could not write a regular diary. After thinking a lot. I found a way. I used to write what I thought was fun or what I thought should be written down on small papers and stapled or glued them in my diary. Gradually as the weight of my diary increased, so did my chances to become Anna Frank.*
*Diary doesn't mean the description of everyday events.* ***If I become the Prime Minister, which laws I will change of the country, What advices would I give him if I meet Bill Gates, my favorite picture, favorite song line, favorite part of the poem, almost everything*** *was in the pages of the diary. When I suddenly turned the page to make an entry with the date, what I was thinking three months ago came to my minds. Many people are quite picky about writing diaries in my opinion. It is better to write without a gel pen, to write with a margin, writing in the middle so that the ink of the pen does not run out, etc.*

*Henry Smolinski*
*He was an engineer. He invented the design of a flying car for an American company named "AVE". While flying with his own invented car, in 1973, he died.*
*Valerian Abakovsky*
*Valerian Abakovsky was an Russian scientist. He invented a high speed train using the engine and propeller of a plane. In 1921, that train successfully completed its first journey from Moscow. But the train didn't return to Moscow. Valerian Abakovsky died when a train accident occurred at the age of 26.*
*Horace Lawson Hunley*
*He was a lawyer who was interested in submarine. His first 2 invention of submarine was not successful. So he tried for the third time and started journey with his friends in his own invented submarine. In 15 October, 1863 ; the submarine sank in South Carolina. Hunley died along with his 7 crew member.*
*Perillos of Athens*
*A terrible instrument made at the behest of King Phalaris of ancient Greece. Its name was "Brazen Bull". This bull-shaped instrument was made by a bronze craftsman named Perillos. Inside of it, people were burned alive. The device was made in such a way that the screams of the people burning inside could be heard like the roar of a bull outside. But who knew, he himself will be the victim of the self-made instrument. He was burned inside the instrument at the king's command to test the device.*

Eating insects sounds disgusting . A lot of questions appear in our mind like ,
**Are insects safe to eat ?**
**Why should we choose insects over delicious meat ?**
**Aren't meats better than insects ?**
You will be surprised to know that over **2 billion** people consume insects on a regular basis . There are plenty of reasons why we should eat and cultivate insects .
You don't believe , **but all the processed foods contains bugs including baby foods.** It is impossible to remove bugs from our food chain. **Peanut butter usually contains up to 30 fragments per 100 grams of peanut butter. Chocolate contains about 60 fragments .**
Bugs are better choice than chicken , pork or regular meat
**Bugs are very Nutritious.** They are the great source of protein, iron & calcium. The amount of nutrients are 6 times more than regular meat. They also contains amino acid which we need for our body growth and functioning.
**Cultivating bugs are cost-effective .** It takes 100 pounds of feed to create 10 pounds of beef . On the other hand same amount of feed can produce about 40 pounds of insects. Only a gallon of water is need for 1 pounds of insects compared to 2000 gallons water for a pound of beef. Only 40 percent of a cow is edible compared to the 80 percent of a cricket. It takes 2 full acres of land for a cow and 18-22 months to mature . Besides we can produce 55-65 pounds of crickets in a 4x8 inches pen and can be harvested every 6 weeks .
**Bugs are eco-friendly.** The pollution is much less for cultivating bugs than cultivating animals. There are about 1.7 billion animals in the livestock. They release a huge amount of greenhouse gases. For the bugs the amount is much less.
**Some may think that insects contains diseases.** Pigs contains more parasites and bacteria than the insects. When we cook pigs, we kill the parasites. Same for the insects. When we cook insects then it is safe to eat them.
**A lot of us thinks eating bugs are disgusting.** It's all about our cultural training which we are following generations by generations. Some centuries ago people didn't eat lobster. They are also a kind of insect. Now people eat lobster . It only takes certain cultural changes. When we think of eating bugs, we think about eating the whole thing. But nobody eats a whole cow or a whole lobster.
**Insects are delicious.** They depend upon the preparation. Individual species tastes different. Mealworms taste like roasted nuts, crickets have an aroma of popcorn. They are crispy and delicious. All you need to do is change your mind and thoughts about insects. At first it may feel gross, but after somedays you will become used to it .
**Insects can be a source of protein for the increasing population.** The population is increasing day by day. It is high time we found an additional source of protein. This food revolution is important for the future.
Many countries already have started taking insects as their regular diet. The percentage of lands in decreasing . So it is very important to start eating insects as the alternative of meats.

My Little Flower Garden
Hello friends , I am @Arpan . Hope that you all are well by the grace of almighty . Flowers are the symbol of beauty. There is no one who does not love flowers. For those who have a backyard, gardening is much easier. Just the will needed. But for those like me who don't have a yard, the last hope is to plant trees in the balconies or roof top. I like flower very much. So I have planted as many flower plants as I could on my two small balconies. **Although the place is small, but the desire is much bigger.** I am sharing some pictures of my garden with you today. Can You Die From Drinking Soda ?
As many of us know, different types of soft drinks like Coca-Cola or Pepsi are harmful for the body. Excessive sweetness in Coca-Cola can cause nausea or vomiting 10 minutes after drinking. It makes fat in the liver.
It contains high levels of artificial sugar which removes calcium from the body through the process of excretion.
Health related website "Healthy Food Team" has released a video about Coca-Cola. Shown here is what happens if a boiled egg with a shell is left in Coca-Cola for a year.
You know, Coca-Cola's ingredients are caffeine, citrate and citric acid. Also contains phosphoric acid. As we know, egg shells are made with calcium, phosphorus and sodium. After one year, it is seen that these components of the egg have decayed or melted and merged with the drink.

But there is a thing need to be cleared that , **nobody dies from drinking soda. They die from things that are associated with over consumption of sugar . They don't die from any sugary substance itself.**

Many people think "Success" means getting a good job , having a lot of money , making a stable position . But for me success means something more .
Success Means The Smile of Your Parents :
The only person who loves you unconditionally are your parents . They bury their dreams to fulfill your dreams . Making my parents happy feels like heaven to me . I feel pain when someone behaves rudely with their parents . They sacrifice their lives . So they don't deserve rude behavior . Make them happy and do whatever they wants . Your friends may leave you , but your parents will never hurt you unless you have done something wrong .
Success Means Having True Friends :
True friends are very difficult to find . They always stand besides you . They may quarrel with you , but they will never misguide you . Only a few true friends come to our life , but they are enough to make your life better . Never lose your true friends .
Success Means Travelling :
You can gain a lot of experiences while travelling . Those experience helps you to solve your problems . The more you travel , the more you will feel happy . My dream is to travel the whole world and I will try to make my dreams true .
Success Means Listening "God Bless You" :
When someone prays for you from the depth of their heart , that is what called "Success" . Helping other increases our inner peace . Try to be a good person . **Try to make at least 3 person smile every day .** And request them to do the same thing . If everyone does , the world will be a much more better place .

I Miss My University
It has been 6 months , I left my campus . I was a 1st year student who made a lot of new friends . They became my family . Since lockdown started , i haven't meet with any of them yet .
I know it's risky to go back to campus now , but I badly want to . I miss those times which I have spent with my friends .
